While waiting for things to work out with Alicia and Andre getting to accompany him to Egypt, Ricardo accepts a few other bookings and training requests. "Hey, Alicia," he calls out after answering another email. "Did you ever think about taking Andre to Florida?"

She looks up from the designs she's working on and shrugs. "Yeah, I mean, someday. It was home for a really long time. I'm sure he'd love it. And there's Disney, maybe, if he'd be interested in that." She taps her pencil against her paper and looks up at him. "Why?"

He smiles at her. "Well, I just got a booking there, and I was wondering if you'd like to see how he handles traveling before we commit for real to the Egypt thing."

"That's a good idea," Alicia says, standing up from the table her work is spread out on and moving to join Ricardo, teasing her fingers through his hair. "Let's do it."

It's as simple as that, they pack up, they buy plane tickets, and they go. The airport is bustling, loud, and Andre seems a little overwhelmed, his eyes wide as he babbles around his finger, but Alicia rocks him and kisses him and he soothes well enough, asleep by the time they've boarded the plane and waits for departure. He wakes up a couple of times, fussing, but they feed and change him, and he sinks back into rest before too long, the flight passing by smooth enough.

"That went a lot easier than I expected," Ricardo laughs as they settle into the rental car, Andre staring back at them from his car seat. "Maybe airplanes feel like a giant car ride to him?"

"Maybe," Alicia says, smiling back at him before turning back to Ricardo and kissing him softly. "Thank you for bringing us here. I'm happy to be here."

"I'm happy it all worked out too," he tells her. "I'm gonna be busy for the next couple of nights, but we'll have some time. We can take him to the beach, maybe, or explore a little bit. Whatever you feel up to doing."

She nods, stroking his jaw. "Sounds good to me. Let's just take it as it comes, ok?"

"Yep, works for me." He smiles at her, then turns back to drive. "One thing I did not miss," he chuckles, fiddling around with the AC settings.

"What?" she asks, leaning back to gently tug on Andre's feet.

"The humidity," he sighs, brushing some of his hair out of his eyes. "Wow. Gonna have to adjust to that when I'm back in the ring."

"Yeah," Alicia says, watching him with a soft fondness in her eyes. "Well, if anyone can adjust quickly, it'll be you."

He glances over at her and smiles. "Thank you."

The days pass too quickly and he enjoys it all- training the students, spending time with his wife and son on Florida beaches, splashing his son with water, letting him scoop up handfuls of wet sand in his pudgy fists. Even cleaning him up later. They're all sunkissed and relaxed and the days pass by too quickly, sending him on to Massachusetts, while Alicia and Andre go back home to California.

He misses them already, and he thinks an extended trip to Egypt would be great for all of them, if their time in Florida is any indication.
