With Egypt on hold for who knows how long, Ricardo's ideas shift. He starts thinking about other countries, places he'd enjoy taking his family to. "There are so many incredible places in the world," he says quietly, staring between Alicia's eyes and little Andre's sleeping face, the baby resting on his mom's chest, too fussy to remain by himself tonight. Teething, Ricardo thinks with a fond sort of sympathy.

"Yeah?" Alicia murmurs, smiling at him. "I've always wanted to explore Australia or New Zealand more. But knowing you, you probably want more exotic places. Right?"

He chuckles and shrugs. "Nah, any place really will do, I enjoy exploring new places and cultures, and meeting new people. Trying to sort out their language." He settles in next to her as gently as he can, mindful of the baby, and she hums.

Reaching out, she soothes her fingers through his hair and rests her head on his shoulder. "Does your brain ever get muddled with all of these different languages in it? I think I'd get really confused with, like, five different ways to say one word bouncing around in my head all the time."

He chuckles, kisses her temple. "Well, maybe, sometimes," he admits. "If I'm tired or hurting it can get really weird. But I like it."

She hums, closing her eyes. "I'd guess it can make cursing someone out fun too," she breathes. "That's what I'd do, learn the best swears and insults in every language and then just really let people have it, but they wouldn't know what I'm saying or which language I'm using, and I'd totally get away with it." She grins into his neck and he laughs softly at her.

She's starting to drift and he reaches out, lightly taking Andre from her. "What do you say, little guy? Can we at least try your bassinet again?" He's getting a little big for it, but at least then he'd just be a few feet away if he starts to fuss again instead of all the way in the next room. Ricardo eases Alicia's head down onto the pillow as he stands and lightly settles his son in the soft bedding, resting a hand over his chest lightly. "G'night, little guy," he whispers, relieved when the baby doesn't stir as he steps away.

Back into bed with Alicia, he smiles when she stirs and blinks sleepily up at him. "Know what would be the most fun thing about being in Australia?"

"What's that?" he asks with a grin, totally enraptured with how adorable she looks, half asleep and still talking to him about exploring other parts of the country as a family. He's so lucky, it really does amaze him still.

"We can totally bludge together." She looks so thrilled with the prospect that he has to laugh, despite not really knowing.

"What does that even mean?" he finally asks before she can settle back into sleep.

"It's- Mm." She yawns. "It means we can be lazy together, shirk our duties. For a little while at least, I know you'd never do it long term. But maybe here and there. You know?"

He laughs softly. "You'd wanna play hooky with me in Australia, Alicia?"

She's very sincere and very sweet as she nods, "Every day of my life, Ricardo."

He laughs again as she almost immediately falls asleep just like that, pressed into his side and clearly enjoying his body heat as she snuggles into him. "Yeah," he murmurs. "Every day of our lives, sounds pretty damn amazing, Foxy."
