Chapter 67

The power level of a Daedric Prince is not easy to understand, there is no yardstick to measure it. However, there is something you should keep in mind: it is not good to be an enemy of one of them. —

Common proverb among scholars.

Hades' eyes watched with some amazement as the dust was dissipated by a strong gust of wind, which had not been conjured by a magic circle. But not only that, the wind left behind a subtle scent of something that humans called cider.

"Is that better?" asked one of the figures standing before the God of Death. This figure was seemingly human, or at least appeared so to the naked eye. However, upon closer inspection, one could discern characteristics not typically found in humans. The first noticeable feature was the individual's skin tone - it was as dark as obsidian, a hue unlike any human he had ever encountered. He was attired in a Victorian suit of carmine red adorned with gold embroidery in the shape of vines. Complementing this was a black high-collared shirt, paired with a blood-red tie that sported a lighter red gem emitting a faint, peculiar glow. His pants, straight and slightly fitted, matched the color of his suit. On his feet, he wore black closed-toe shoes. His hair, a blend of red and black, was another distinguishing feature. Upon closer examination, one could spot two pairs of horns of varying sizes, with one pair larger than the other. Lastly, his eyes were orange and glowed like burning coals.

"Yes, thanks. That's better." responded the other individual, who was standing next to the first speaker. This man was initially distinguished from the other by his skin, as it was as pale as pure snow, a trait also unusual in humans. His eyes were golden and shone faintly like flecks of luminous gold. His hair was gray and combed back, and he also sported a bushy, neatly trimmed beard. His attire consisted of a Victorian suit, but unlike the other individual, his clothes were of various colors. To start with, his pants were dark green, designed similarly to his companion's, as they were also straight and semi-fitted. His vest and jacket were dark purple, paired with a white shirt and a bolo tie. The tie's black braided leather strings were secured by an ornamental gold-colored clasp engraved with a cheese. He wore black gloves on his hands, and resting on his hair was a top hat, which matched the color of his vest.

Hades' eyes were fixed on the two men, examining their body movements. This is because they didn't give him any good feeling... in fact, they didn't give him any feeling at all. That surprised him greatly, making him forget what was happening and the reason why he had come to this place. This was because one of the reasons for not being able to feel the power of your enemy was that he was more powerful than you... But after thinking about it, he shook his head, because he was Hades, the Greek god of death and one of the beings that was in the top ten of the strongest in this world. However, before he even thought about approaching those guys, a magic circle appeared next to his head.

"Lord Hades." Said one of the Grim reapers at his service.

"What's happening?"

"I was calling to report what is happening on the front, I'm afraid that due to the appearance of those two individuals we have lost several of the reapers who were in the vanguard, this has caused the Moderate Faction to strengthen their barrier. I fear that the siege could last a bit longer if you do not join the battle."

The words of his servant caused the god to become extremely upset, although this anger was not due to the death of his reapers, but because the recovery of his lab rats and the information would take longer, which increased the risk of everything leaking out and the damn Kuoh pact hearing about this. Therefore, when he saw the cause of this delay, Hades raised his hand and, charging a simple spell, launched a powerful fireball at the two individuals.

The attack traveled at high speed, covering the distance that separated Hades from the two strangers in a matter of seconds, ultimately hitting them. That fireball ended up creating a huge explosion that completely engulfed them upon impact.

Seeing how the two interferences had been enveloped by the explosion of his spell, the god of hell decided to leave to personally attack the castle of Orcus, as that way he would end this quickly.

"Hey, where are you going after being so rude?"

The voice that echoed made Hades stop abruptly. Turning his head, he looked towards where it originated and, to his total astonishment, saw that the owner of the voice was the man wearing the hat, who was now looking at him with anger or, rather, annoyance while leaning on a very peculiar staff. The staff he was observing was silver in color and, on the part where the man was leaning, a very disturbing design could be seen: three faces with three fixed expressions, one face smiling, one sad, and one angry.

If the god of death had had eyes, they would be wide open. Fortunately, he managed to get out of that state of surprise and when he did, he saw how the man moved his staff and out of nowhere came a wave of energy, which turned the fire into… cotton candy? This ended up surprising Hades greatly, who, in all his existence, had never seen a spell like that.

"Hey, Sheo, it seems like a walking skeleton. Do you think it's a slave of Bal?" asked the man with the horns.

"Ummm… I don't know… but I never know anything, so it doesn't matter… Ha, ha, ha…" said the subject they called Sheo, then he started to laugh like a madman, only to stop abruptly a second later. "But I do know that he was stupid enough to attack us… so whether he's a servant of Bal or not, I'll have to teach him manners."

The voice of the so-called Sheo was deadly and serious at this moment, causing a chill to run through the bones of Hades' body, who felt that he had angered someone he shouldn't have.

"Well… and what do we do… Do I help you?"

"No, no, no... I'll do it alone. Yes, yes... You go for those floating rags." said the person with the hat, earning a sigh and a headshake from his companion.

"Okay, I leave you with the walking skeleton... just don't make a mess, Sheogorath." said the man with horns before disappearing in a burst of speed, leaving Hades bewildered. The underworld king couldn't fully perceive the total speed at which that individual had moved. This made him realize that this person was very strong, perhaps strong enough to cause trouble for his subordinates, something he couldn't allow if he wanted to recover what was his. Therefore, he was tempted to launch himself after that person, but before he moved, the so-called Sheogorath stopped him when he spoke.

"Are you leaving already? And I had prepared something for you."

The words of this individual confused Hades, who didn't understand what he meant. When he turned his body, he didn't see him using or casting any spell; instead, he saw him with an outstretched hand, with fingers pointing to his right.

'What is he doing?' Hades' thoughts were interrupted when, out of nowhere, he felt something approaching. Turning his head to the right, had he had eyes, they would have widened, as from the sky, a shooting star was falling at great speed, leaving a trail of fire in its wake.

Upon seeing this attack approach, Hades raised his hand and effortlessly conjured more than fifty defensive circles, with which he hoped to halt the enemy's assault. However, when the comet touched the first circle...

Crash! Crash! Crash! Crash! Crash! Crash! Crash! Crash!...

The sound of shattering glass became present as Hades' barriers crumbled like windows before a high-caliber bullet fired by a point-blank antimatter rifle. This caused the god to take a big leap backward, hoping to gain some distance. However, that seemed not to work, as in the moment he did, he saw how the fire from the shooting star dissipated, revealing it to be a damn moon, which was the size of a three-story house.

'That thing is enormous... if it hits me directly, I'll end up severely damaged.' thought Hades with panic as he witnessed Sheogorath's attack. Without second thoughts and almost as if it were an involuntary action, he began to strengthen his divine aura with his staff, which started to emit a glow that surrounded Hades' body. This glow was the power of Hades' staff, which would allow him to enhance his divine power. With this power boost, the Greek pantheon's god of death created a powerful barrier to protect himself properly, but not only that he also crossed his arms in an X shape, all as a precautionary measure.

When the moon collided with the barrier, it stretched it so much that it seemed it would break any second. But fortunately for Hades, that didn't happen, as his barrier managed to hold up. However, that doesn't mean the attack didn't work, as Hades's body was dragged like a leaf in a whirlwind.

"Ughk" was the grunt that Hades let out as he was dragged by the moon, taking him away from the battlefield that was the siege of Orcus Castle. The body of the underworld king was being crushed by the pressure generated as he moved at a speed of Mach five, creating a friction cone that began to cause Hades's body to heat up... and not in a fun way. The Greek god's body was starting to show burns that were increasing in intensity, but they did so slowly, as his divine aura was protecting him. Nevertheless, the pain he felt was something that could have made any other being faint, but not him.

However, despite his resilience, the Greek god knew he would be finished if he collided with something at this speed. That's why he was filled with panic when he saw a mountain range approaching at great speed. Witnessing this, the Greek god made a final desperate move to try to survive.

BOOOOOMMMMMM!

A massive explosion occurred in the vicinity of Orcus's palace, creating a dome of fire so large that it spanned over ten kilometers, burning and killing all kinds of life in that area.

"Fiuuuu… ha, ha, ha! What beautiful fireworks... they're amazing!" exclaimed Sheogorath joyfully upon seeing the aftermath of his attack.

The prince of madness had been calm in his own plane, as he hadn't seen what his dear descendant had been up to in the last few days. Feeling bored, he decided to visit the world of Draconic Deus to see what was new but chose not to go alone. That's why he called upon good old Sanguine, always ready for a good party and the necessary touch of chaos to keep them entertained. They decided to come to this world, but to make it more interesting, they chose not to do it as they usually did; instead, they used what they called the dimensional gap. This led them to encounter a certain steroid-infused lizard that started bothering them, daring to even burn their precious cheese. Although this angered him, he decided not to do anything... at least for now. However, it seemed that Padomay was on his side today, as they came across a skeleton that attacked him and Sanguine. Therefore, he decided to vent his frustration on it.

"Ha, ha... Ahhh... this is incredible... I hadn't done this since... Oh yes! Since that day I threw that moon at Vivec centuries ago... Ahh! Those were truly good times!" After those shouts, the god of madness began to laugh amused by what had happened, as he had finally been able to see what a moon thrown at that speed could do. However, his smile faded when he realized something... nevertheless, he smiled again, and then snapped his fingers. After that, he was absorbed by a purple vortex, as he would go on to continue playing somewhere else.

A gust of wind blew, carrying with it small snowflakes. The air was cold, so much so that anyone would think they were at one of the Earth's poles. This was because the place had become a kind of ice forest which, instead of having trees, had hundreds of ice structures. If one looked very closely, Grim reapers could be seen inside them.

These grim reapers were still alive, but they couldn't move because they had been frozen by a single, powerful frost spell. This spell had been used by the prince of excess and hedonism, that is, the daedra whom Issei secretly loved the most, Sanguine.

The Prince of Excess was observing everything, seated on an ice throne that rose several meters above the ground, allowing him to see the entire panorama of what he had under his feet. The spell had been released as a display of the great, and often nonexistent, anger of the prince, who had had more than justified reason to use this amount of power. And that was because… these beings that looked like flying black tablecloths had dared to destroy more than five hundred boxes of his best wines… This had happened not many seconds ago… this was because he had gone there with the intention of dialoguing and having a good time, not like Sheogorath, who from the explosion a second ago, was surely punching the skeleton. However, despite arriving in a friendly manner with wine and laughter, they attacked him with those little lights that came out of those floating runes they used, destroying his precious cargo of wine… This made him angry and, using his power, he literally turned them into living palettes instead of killing them.

Although those beings were strong, they didn't stand a chance against him, which was demonstrated when he used that spell to freeze them instantly.

"This is boring… I don't like it, but they started this." Said Sanguine. Then he moved his hand to conjure a pair of binoculars, with which he began to observe the place. To his surprise, he saw more of these flying tablecloths inside the castle, which seemed to be under a barrier.

Upon seeing them, the prince weighed what he would do, as they could be just as rude as the others. However, he felt that they were not like that, as he realized that they had had the opportunity to attack him and had not done so. This gave him a good feeling, so, smiling, he decided to approach them and see if they accepted a good drink to be able to chat, while Sheogorath continued to fight with that skeleton.

So, jumping from his makeshift throne, he landed gracefully on the ground. After dusting off his new clothes, he began to walk carefree to quickly reach the castle. As he walked, he could hear Sheogorath laughing psychotically.

"Hehe… it seems that old Sheo is having a lot of fun… well, let's hope I'm as lucky as him."

While Sanguine was freezing the grim reapers, near Orcus' castle, a magic circle appeared, from which a wounded Hades emerged.

"Hahhh… Hahhh…" The breaths of the Greek god were heavy and prolonged. He was more than exhausted, not from the use of his power, but from the fatigue caused by the wounds that covered his body. His clothes, which were once ornate and clean, were now in tatters, revealing various parts of his skeletal body. "I was lucky… one more second and I would have been seriously injured."

Hades' words emerged from his astonishment as he observed the place where the moon, the weapon of the unknown attacker, had struck. What he saw was terrifying… a crater of colossal dimensions, with more than five hundred meters in diameter and a depth exceeding one hundred meters. From his position, Hades could clearly see the devastation caused by the attack.

'Who was that individual…? How can he be so powerful as to put me in this situation…?' Hades thought as he stood up and looked at the sky, taking a deep breath. After that, he looked at himself and realized that, if it weren't for his staff and his ability to increase his power, he would be much more injured at this very moment… 'I must get out of here and think carefully about how to defeat him. The attack he used took me by surprise, but it won't happen twice…'

The thoughts of the Greek god were interrupted when he saw a purple vortex appear in front of him, and from there emerged the same individual who had thrown that moon at him.

"Wow…! You're still alive! Great! We can keep playing longer!" Sheogorath shouted, laughing, and spinning as if he were dancing ballet. "Not many survive that! But you did… Perfect!"

After that shout, Sheogorath lunged at Hades, but this time to engage in hand-to-hand combat.

In the blink of an eye, Sheogorath materialized in front of Hades and, with a swift motion of his hand, delivered a powerful quick strike to the god. Hades's response was nothing short of masterful as he managed to defend himself, thus halting the daedric prince's attack.

The impact of both created a powerful shockwave that was so strong it ended up tearing away several trees and raising a lot of dust.

"Ha, ha, ha! You're strong... That's perfect!" shouted Sheogorath with amusement, and then he jumped backward, distancing himself from Hades.

Now the god of the underworld saw his enemy moving away, he moved his hand, causing several magical circles to appear above Sheogorath. With a single gesture from the god of the underworld's hand, the magical circles gleamed and launched hundreds of large fireballs, which headed towards Sheogorath at high speed.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha...! Beautiful!" Sheogorath exclaimed with madness upon seeing the fireballs threatening to incinerate him. The face of the prince of madness displayed a happy smile, and as he moved his hand, he made the base of his staff touch the ground, releasing a wave of magical energy. This transformed the fireballs into hundreds of white doves, which took flight and moved away from the battlefield.

"Ha, ha, ha... it's incredible... so many doves..." Sheogorath laughed with amusement as he watched the birds depart. After that, he looked at Hades and, smiling playfully, moved his staff and, pointing, unleashed a spell. A massive red ball emerged from there, heading towards Hades at great speed.

Upon seeing the incoming attack, Hades' initial choice was to create a barrier to protect himself. However, in attempting to do so, for the first time in centuries, his survival instincts went haywire. Without a second thought, he leaped to the side. This movement allowed the attack to follow its path, ultimately hitting a massive rock over ten meters tall. What happened when that magic ball struck the stone was something the Greek god had never witnessed in his life, as before Hades' eyes, the rock turned to ashes.

'That's not like the Bael's destruction power...' Hades thought with astonishment as he observed the effect of the attack. Initially, he associated it with the devils' power of destruction because, but now, looking at it more closely, he saw that, unlike the destruction power, which obliterated everything in its path, this spell turned the stone into sand. Ceasing to gaze at the destroyed rock, Hades posed and focused all his attention on the individual in front of him, who was casually moving his staff.

"Ohhh... I love that look... it's such a dark gaze... You don't even have eyes!" shouted Sheogorath, and then he lunged at Hades.

When the god of the underworld saw him, he moved his hand and created a massive magic circle from which a torrent of flames emerged, heading towards Sheogorath. Upon seeing the attack, Sheogorath moved his staff. This time, a green sphere emerged from the staff instead of a red one. The sphere collided with Hades' attack, and to the total surprise of the underworld king, the sphere merged with his attack, tripling its power.

"WAAAA!" was the shout Sheogorath released when the flames engulfed him completely.

Hades was very surprised… because he didn't understand what the hell was going on. His mind couldn't comprehend how his enemy had done something like that. However, his thoughts were interrupted when he heard the voice of his enemy, which was coming from behind him.

"AHHH! Stupid piece of shit stick! How dare you do this to your creator?!"

Upon hearing Sheogorath's screams, Hades looked in that direction and what he saw left him perplexed. In front of him, Sheogorath was moving his staff up and down in a ridiculous manner. The way the man moved the staff seemed almost cartoonish, as if Sheogorath wanted to harm an inanimate, unconscious, and insensate object.

Seeing that his enemy was so exposed, Hades did not waste time and, using his staff, activated its ability, which greatly enhanced the spell he was about to cast. Pointing with his skeletal hands, the Greek god launched a powerful fireball, which was the size of a six-story house, making the attack visible from various points in the vicinity of where Hades and Sheogorath were fighting.

The fireball moved at high speed, covering the distance that separated Hades from Sheogorath in a matter of seconds. This caused the Daedric prince to open his eyes in surprise, as he did not expect this attack.

BOOOOMMMM!

A huge explosion shook the entire place, creating a massive dome of destructive fire, which scorched everything several meters around where Sheogorath had been.

"It seems to be over." Said Hades, who no longer felt the presence of his enemy. However, that did not make the Greek god lower his guard, as this same individual had emerged unscathed from a torrent of flames enhanced by his own magic, which made him a more than formidable enemy. And it's a good thing that Hades kept his guard, because a second after the explosion emerged, the fire turned into a thin layer of steam when all the fire was cooled by an explosion of ice magic, which extinguished all the flames around it.

During the formed crater, amidst a dense cloud of icy smoke, one could distinguish the figure of Sheogorath. His clothes were in ruins, revealing various parts of his pale body. Despite the state of his clothing, the Daedric prince was unscathed, with only a few minor burns. This surprised Hades, as the power of that fireball was considerable and should have caused more damage to his adversary, especially since it took him by surprise.

"That was… incredible! Ahhh, it's been several years since someone has hurt me like this! Ha, ha, ha…! But it doesn't matter… even if you try to kill me, you won't be able to!" exclaimed a jubilant Sheogorath, as a powerful and suffocating aura emerged around him, saturating the air with Magicka, a phenomenon unknown to Hades. With each passing second, Sheogorath's body began to subtly transform: his hair darkened, and his eyes lost some of their innate madness, giving way to a calm and tranquility so icy it made Hades shudder. As his body continued to subtly transform, Sheogorath's voice echoed again, but this time with a more serious tone. "I hope you're ready… skeleton… I will show no mercy to you…"

After uttering those words, Sheogorath disappeared in a burst of speed, only to reappear in front of Hades, managing to penetrate his defenses.

Hades' eyes opened in surprise, especially when he saw his enemy appear in front of him. Seeing him there, he quickly covered himself with his arms, placing them in the shape of an X. The moment he did, he felt a great pain in his arms, as they had been hit by Sheogorath's fist. The force of that blow was such that the Greek god was sent flying several meters into the sky.

Orcus' eyes were fixed on the battle taking place outside his castle. The leader of the moderate faction was watching in astonishment what was happening outside. Everything had started with the opening of that garp in the sky, after that, he saw how a damned moon attacked Hades, sending him towards a mountain range. Seeing this, he felt overwhelmed, but also terrified, as he knew that this could have seriously injured Hades. However, it seemed that the Greek god was hard to kill, as he managed to escape. After noticing this, a magic circle transmitted to him the information that their enemies were no longer attacking them. Therefore, using magic, he observed what was happening and would not lie by saying that he was astonished to see how a single individual was eliminating the army gathered by Hades to attack him.

'It's impossible… I never in my life thought I would see Hades being hit in that way by beings who were not those who were above him in the top ten… but right now I'm watching how that guy is fighting on par with Hades.' Orcus thought in astonishment as he watched Hades and that guy face each other in a monstrous hand-to-hand combat, demonstrating combat skills far above the average expected for gods. The force of the blows was such that shock waves were generated that impacted the barrier, causing it to tremble slightly, along with the castle.

"It's incredible how they fight, isn't it?"

"Yes, it's incredible… I never thought that someone could face Hades at that level." Orcus' words were interrupted when he realized that there was another presence in the room. Turning his head quickly, the grim reaper saw who was the being that was by his side and the moment he saw him… he felt a chill run through his body. This was because the one who was by his side was none other than the being who had instantly eliminated all of Hades' army.

Seeing him at his side, Orcus jumped back and, summoning his scythe, took a defensive stance, hoping in this way to be able to stop his enemy if he decided to attack.

"Calm down, floating rag… I don't want to fight." said the being while raising his hands in a way that made the universal sign that he didn't want to fight. "I'm just here to see how my partner sweeps the floor with that skeleton."

The words of the stranger caused Orcus to feel curiosity, while he felt that this subject could be boasting.

"It seems like you have a lot of confidence that your friend can beat someone like Hades, someone who is in the top ten of the strongest beings."

Orcus saw how his enemy seemed to look at him with some curiosity after his words.

"So… that bag of bones is in the top ten of the strongest beings in this world… How high is he?"

"I wouldn't know for sure-"

"Is he stronger than that steroid lizard from that place they call the dimensional gap?"

The moment those words were heard by Orcus, he stood still as a stone for a second, as he couldn't believe how this subject dared to call the most powerful existence in this world. However, a strong shake, caused by the battle that was happening outside the fortress, made him come back to his senses, so, looking at the intruder, he realized that he was watching the battle with a glass of what seemed to be brandy in his hand.

"And do you already know the answer to the question?" asked the intruder with a smile on his face.

"Sure… Hades is strong, but not strong enough to face the Great Red." Orcus replied as he looked up at the sky and saw Hades launch a direct blow at his enemy. That blow seemed unavoidable, as it was attacking the place where the stranger had less defense, but in Orcus' view, the stranger managed to dodge Hades' attack, then counterattacked with quick blows, managing to land several hits on the Greek god. "I-incredible… how can he react like that to so many attacks from Hades?"

"That's because Sheogorath has a more than annoying ability." said the individual with a smile.

The moment Orcus heard that name, he felt his soul leaving his body, as he knew that name thanks to Qahnaarin. In the meeting he had with those two masked individuals, they told him a lot about that other world, especially about the daedras, as that was the main information that Thanatos had requested and now, he was grateful for it, as thanks to that information he knew about the daedra princes and their power. The words both masked individuals said made them see that they were at the same power level as those at the top, but… they had abilities that could put them in more advantageous situations against the top ten members.

Orcus's surprise lasted long enough for him to come to his senses and listen to the stranger next to him, hearing what he was saying about Sheogorath.

"Old Sheo has reflexes that are out of this world, which is why many of the other princes do not want to face him one on one, especially if he is using his crazy staff. That thing is really broken… if you're lucky for it, otherwise you could end up dying easily, but that doesn't matter. Sheogorath's individual power is great, he is not at the top of the strongest of the princes in raw power, but he is not weak, and his unique ability makes him fully capable of facing the other princes alone. I, for my part, do not like to be like the other princes, I do not care about power struggles and those stupidities… no, leave me with my parties and orgies… those are fun."

After those words, the leader of the moderate faction knew who the individual in front of him was… this was the prince of Excess and Hedonism… Sanguine. Upon seeing him, he realized that the personality he was showing was just as Qahnaarin had described it, a relaxed personality that only had thoughts of drinking good alcohol and maybe having a good party.

"I see… it's good to see that you don't have a hobby of killing and enslaving mortals, Sanguine-sama." Said Orcus, putting away his scythe, but not completely lowering his guard.

"Ho, ho… wow, this is incredible… you are the first being we've come across in this world who recognizes us… that's… refreshing…" said Sanguine with a smile on his face. "It seems that you are different from those I've come across in this world… do you want a drink?"

Sanguine's words were accompanied by a purple glow, which emerged from the free hand of the Daedric prince. When the glow dissipated, in Sanguine's hand there was a ceramic bottle.

Upon seeing the bottle of alcohol, Orcus was pondering whether to accept it or not… A part of him didn't want to accept, but another part, one that told him there could be consequences for rejecting the Daedric prince, urged him to accept, to avoid trouble that way. In the end, he decided to accept, to avoid any problem with someone so powerful who was already infiltrated in his castle. Bringing a hand to his mask, he moved it a bit to be able to drink the contents of the bottle comfortably. So, uncorking it, he brought the bottle to his mouth and after taking the first sip, the leader of the moderate faction felt his body warming up and filling with a strange sensation of happiness.

"By the way." said Sanguine, drawing Orcus's attention. "How did you know I am Sanguine?"

That question was accompanied by Sanguine's gaze, which was intensely looking at the grim reaper, as he knew he was not known in this world… at least for now, as he was slowly building his cults, but everything was moving slower thanks to Bal and Dagon, as those bastards were in an open war, sending their troops to hunt each other, battling clandestinely in cities, in remote rural areas, taking every living being they found along the way.

While Orcus's first thought was to lie, the alcohol running through his system made him unable to do so, so he ended up telling how he had learned about them.

"So… Qahnaarin…? Heh… this is ironic." said Sanguine, who, despite being a daedra, had lived long enough to know a thing or two about dragons, and had also observed some of the times when the Dovahkiin had called his zombie dragon companion, who always called him by that name. "Well, leaving that aside… What do you think of the liquor I gave you?"

"It's very good… it's almost like drinking liquid happiness." replied Orcus, who was floating erratically, as he was dizzy.

"Ha! Of course, it's good, it's my personal reserve!" Sanguine shouted with joy as he watched the battle between Sheogorath and Hades. The smile that the prince of excess had had since he started drinking with Orcus grew larger as he saw how the battle was as erratic and crazy as he had hoped it would be. This was due not only to the absurd amount of magical power wasted on powerful spells, but also to the fact that the Wabbajack was playing both for and against Sheogorath so many times that it was almost ridiculous that the prince was using his daedric artifact so much. However, even though the exchanges of blows were so beastly, and the magic used in the fight had already devastated several kilometers around the battlefield, the truth was that this was about to end, as it was noticeable that Sheogorath, despite the setbacks of his erratic artifact, was maintaining the lead in this fight.

"It seems like this is about to end… Now… I think we can make this more entertaining… Hey, Orcus…"

The reaper stopped floating erratically and looked at the daedric prince. "Yes, Sanguine-sama."

"Can you communicate with leaders of other factions?"

"(hic) Under n-normal conditions… no… but…(hic) there… there are ways…(hic) Why?"

A smile appeared on Sanguine's face, who began to think of a great joke that would be the culmination of the reason why he and Sheogorath had come in person. "I need you to call someone…"

A huge shockwave shook the battlefield, causing debris and parts of the earth to fly everywhere. This was due to the large number of blows being exchanged between Hades and Sheogorath. Both were on the ground, exchanging blows at such a speed that everything was a blur for those who did not have a very high perception of their surroundings.

"Ha, ha, ha!" Sheogorath laughed maniacally, while launching seven consecutive blows, all aimed at Hades' skeletal face.

The speed of Sheogorath's attack was such that no mortal could have stopped it. However, Hades was not a mortal, so he was able to block each blow in such a way that he suffered no damage at all. After this, the Greek god quickly created several magic circles behind Sheogorath, with the aim of catching him by surprise. To increase the chances of success, he threw a couple of punches at his enemy.

The attack speed of Hades exceeded what would be expected from someone who appears to use magic to attack. Therefore, the Greek god physically attacked Sheogorath, to keep his attention on him. While Hades watched as Sheogorath's eyes remained fixed on him, he smiled. Seeing his magic circles shine, he prepared one at his feet and, with its help, disappeared from the place.

"WOA!" Sheogorath shouted in surprise, seeing Hades do this for the first time. However, the Daedric Prince's surprise only increased when he felt something on his back. Turning around, he saw several magic circles there, which shone for a second, then fired several bullets of divine power. These were so compressed that each one could be said to have the power of more than one hundred and forty kilograms of TNT.

Despite how dangerous this type of attack could be, the Prince of Madness saw no danger, he only saw fun in it. Therefore, without thinking twice, he faced this attack and, moving his hand, created a lightning bolt, which he threw against the attack.

Hades smiled as he saw his enemy only throwing a lightning bolt, but his smile faded the moment he saw how this lightning bolt began to move around the place, almost as if it were a chain…

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

The bullets that made up Hades' attack were destroyed in such a way that the sky was filled with explosions. These generated so many shock waves and air currents that several debris were blown away, at the same time a smoke curtain was raised.

Taking advantage of the smoke that covered the area, Hades began to analyze what had happened in the battle. The battle itself, if it could be called that, had been stranger than he would expect. This was because his enemy's way of acting was completely erratic, as his attacks were so random that they were not only intended to harm him, but there were also times when those attacks had enhanced his spells. Even that "attack" that had hit him when that subject had dodged a direct attack from him, which had left him at his mercy. When his enemy realized, he moved his staff and launched an attack, which was a green energy ball… Which did not harm him, on the contrary, it healed all his wounds, leaving him almost like new.

'That randomness is not total… from what I've seen, there's a kind of characteristic that surrounds each type of attack. If I can decipher the pattern, I will know which attack is for what… that will only leave me one thing to deal with… the reaction capacity he possesses is beyond anything I've seen in my long centuries of existence, he is not only able to dodge all my attacks, but it's almost impossible to take him by surprise… although… I've noticed something… he must see whatever attacks him… at one point I was about to take him by surprise… If I repeat it… no… it wouldn't work again, only a fool would fall for the same thing twice… no, I must focus on one thing… defeat him and if it's in one blow better, because if he is that strong, his partner will be too.' After that thought, Hades noticed something, and that is that by being so focused on Sheogorath, he had not realized that there were no signs of struggle elsewhere, which indicated only one thing, his servants had been defeated, otherwise they would be here providing some kind of help.

Unfortunately, he couldn't think much about it, as Sheogorath appeared abruptly, swinging his staff in such a way that it looked like a club. Seeing this, Hades did the same, swinging his own staff. Both weapons met in the middle, creating a strong shock wave, which was accompanied by an explosion of magic, because although there had been an impact, the truth was that both staffs were not touching at all, this was because their auras were repelling each other, fighting for dominance.

"GHK…" Hades grunted in annoyance, who had taken the worst posture for this type of encounter, as he had attacked from bottom to top. This made him must make a greater effort to maintain his attack.

"Ha, ha… how cute… you look like a wet skeleton with that sweat starting to form on you." Sheogorath said with an ear-to-ear smile.

That statement made the Greek god angry and without thinking twice, he created a magic circle, which shone brightly, then unleashed a powerful torrent of pressurized water.

"Are…" was all Sheogorath could say when he saw the attack, as it literally emerged less than ten meters from his face. This made the point-blank attack hit the Daedric prince full on.

Hades' attack caused Sheogorath's body to move at the same speed as the meteorite he had used to strike Hades. However, unlike the Greek god, Sheogorath's mind was so fragmented and mad that he didn't scream in pain, but laughed in amusement at what was happening.

"Ha, ha, ha! This is fun!" Sheogorath shouted with amusement as he was dragged by the water jet. However, due to his eccentricity, the prince of madness got bored of it, so with a clap, he created a wave of Daedric magic, which expanded through Hades' attack, turning it into smoke. After that, Sheogorath looked back and saw that he was heading towards the place where his moon had impacted. Seeing this, he decided to use it again for something, so, moving his hand, it was wrapped in a golden aura of pain and, closing his fist, the meteorite was enveloped in the same golden aura. A second later, the meteorite headed towards Sheogorath, who, upon seeing it, gracefully maneuvered in the air to stand on the moon. When he was on the rock, he looked towards where Hades was and, opening his hand with the golden aura, the meteorite sped towards where the Greek god was.

"Ha, ha! Run like the wind, Bullseye!" Sheogorath shouted while standing on the stone, which was moving at high speed towards Hades.

Seeing what was happening, the Greek god was surprised to see how his enemy appeared riding the damn meteorite that had taken him by surprise. Feeling an unusual rage, Hades glared at his enemy, then extended his hand forward and created a huge magic circle. This circle was so large that when the spell emerged from there, it was seen to be a fireball the size of a mansion. A second after appearing, the fireball shot out from there, and sped towards Sheogorath, making the prince of madness smile amusedly as he saw the attack coming.

"Ha, ha… Nice try!" Sheogorath shouted as he jumped from the stone he was flying on.

BOOOM!

A huge explosion emerged from the clash of both attacks, and now of collision, Hades launched himself to use the explosion as cover. Venturing into the resulting smoke, Hades saw the silhouette of Sheogorath and without thinking twice, he lunged to hit him. Moving his skeletal hand, he threw a powerful punch, which went through the silhouette, dispersing the smoke around him.

When the smoke cleared, Hades saw with horror that what was there was not Sheogorath, but a black-skinned humanoid with red tattoos and horns, who was wearing a suit like his enemy's.

'A trap!' Hades shouted in his mind when he realized it. A second after the punch, he saw how the being he had killed was absorbed by a purple vortex, and now when this vortex was extinguished, he saw there, a few meters away, was Sheogorath.

A huge smile was present on Sheogorath's face, who had used a dremora servant as bait and the skeleton had bitten the bait like a hungry fish the worms.

Keeping his smile, Sheogorath moved his Wabbajack and pointed it at Hades, and after releasing his spell, he saw how a green light emerged from his staff, heading towards him.

When Hades saw the attack, he began to think about how to dodge it, as he was in a position that made it impossible for him. However, his ideas were discarded when he saw a green light emerge from the staff. From what little he had been able to learn from his enemy, his attacks had one characteristic… the color of each spell. From what he had been able to observe, the color was the indicator that differentiated each attack he launched with that staff. The red ones were more than crazy and destructive attacks, some created explosions, in fact, one created a kind of miniature black hole that lasted seconds, with which he absorbed quite a few debris and rocks from the place. However, the green-colored spells were more than anything enhancers or even, like healing… that's why, seeing that the spell that emerged was green, he intuited that it would not be harmful, so he did not move, but let the spell hit him… And when it touched his skin… he regretted it immediately.

"AAARGGGGHHH!" Hades screamed, a cry of pain so great that it was heard a couple of kilometers away, reaching as far as Orcus' palace.

Hades' body convulsed in an abnormal way, beginning to move unnaturally, causing spasms of pain so intense that the Greek god himself did not know what was happening… Hades' mind did not understand what was happening, as it was supposed that attack should not harm him, but it was not so…

"Heh, heh… now you're stiff…" said Sheogorath, approaching Hades with a playful smile on his face.

Seeing him, Hades felt that his end was near, but before anything was said or done, a purple vortex appeared next to Sheogorath, and from it emerged his companion…

"Wow… you really made a mess with him, Sheogorath." said Sanguine, approaching his friend of parties and chaos.

"No, I didn't… he did it to himself."

"Yes, I see it…" said Sanguine, who frowned upon seeing Hades in that state. Seeing him like this, he approached him. Placing a foot on his chest, he forced him to look at him. "You know, this is the second time I've seen a god of this world defeated… it's assumed that gods have that name because they have no rivals… but in this world, I think that title is overrated… In part… as surprising as it may seem, Sheogorath's crazy artifact has the damn ability to even affect the Daedric princes, of course, this only if Sheogorath himself uses it, if a mortal uses it… well, it's just like a morning breeze… but well, I'm rambling… I'm surprised you're still alive… you see… the spell that's affecting you is one that kills its target, turning its body into salt… but it seems you can resist it… not completely, as you surely feel a pain more than atrocious, but you're not dying… Wow… It seems they are stronger than thought."

"Boooo… My fun is over." said Sheogorath, with a disappointed face.

"I don't believe it… old friend."

"Huh… why is that?"

"This bag of bones has been involved in certain matters… and those matters have caused that, if discovered, well… we don't know what will happen to him… but I've called those who will be interested in what he did… and guess…"

"What?" asked Sheogorath with a smile, as he was imagining several fun things, which included how this bag of bones would be punished.

"He also comes with that group." Sanguine replied with a smile.

"OHHHH… Perfect! It's been a while since I've seen him face to face…!" Sheogorath shouted in excitement. "But if he comes…! Yes! I'll prepare a surprise for him!"

Edzard was looking at the infirmary room where all his lovers and his companions in the group he had… Or at least that should be, but the truth is that there was no one else inside. This was because everyone had been sent to different rooms to be treated in a better way. Those who had burns had been sent to a separate room to be treated quickly, the rest had been sent to another room… Finally, Asia had been sent to another room, as he wanted to have a conversation with her alone once she woke up.

"I wonder who will wake up first… Asia or her parents… Heh, well, that doesn't matter… in the end, I need everyone to be awake so they can meet." Edzard said aloud as he looked at the empty room. Shrugging his shoulders, he turned and left the room, as he had to do a few more things, which were focused on his new semi-permanent tenants. "Ummm… I wonder if Ophis is getting used to the palace… well, I can go ask her later. I also must-see what rooms will be assigned to everyone, from Asia's parents, when they wake up, to Vali's team who will stay at my home… Haa… seriously, this is going to be tiring."

After those words, Edzard continued walking through the rooms, heading to the wing that made up the guest room area, but to get to that area, he passed through the main room area, which were the ones he occupied and strangely the members of his group.

"Now that I think about it, these are supposed to be the rooms for my direct family, but I still put them here… heh, heh…" Edzard laughed amused, as he realized something. "I really am a-"

His words were interrupted when he heard several steps approaching him, so, turning his body, he saw who it was. Seeing who they were, his eyes narrowed, as it was the leaders of the factions that made up the pact.

"What's going on?" Edzard asked with curiosity and some seriousness as he approached them.

"We have problems…" Sirzechs replied quickly, using a serious tone of voice that contained a lot of concern in it."

"What kind of problems?" asked Edzard, who looked into the eyes of the current Lucifer.

"Daedras…" replied Azazel, thus catching Edzard's attention.

"I see… I suppose I'll go in-"

"You won't go alone." Azazel said seriously, interrupting Edzard, who looked at him intensely.

"What?"

"What you heard… You won't go alone; we're going with you." Azazel said as he pointed to everyone present in the room.

Azazel's response took Edzard by surprise, who didn't know what to respond at that moment… but after thinking for a few seconds, he nodded. He saw nothing wrong with them accompanying him, as they were the leaders of their respective factions, which indicated that they were the strongest in each one.

"Okay, then, tell me where it is and explain to me what's happening." Edzard asked in a serious tone.

A large magical circle appeared on the ground and began to rise slowly, causing a group of people to appear. The group that appeared was made up of Edzard, Azazel, Sirzechs, Odin, Yasaka, and Serafall.

"I'm still not used to this kind of teleportation… it feels weird." Edzard said when the magical circle finally disappeared.

"Hehe… it seems you don't like this type of transportation, right, Edzard-kun?" Yasaka asked amusingly, who had a smile on her face, which she covered with the sleeve of her maiden outfit.

"It's not that I hate it, but it's different… at least to what a normal teleportation is in Nirm." Edzard replied, who was more focused on seeing what was around than looking at Yasaka.

"Really? Wow… That's strange… just out of curiosity, what are normal teleportations like in Nirm?" Serafall asked with an amused smile, as she wanted to see what bothered Edzard to use it for a joke later.

"Ummm… I don't know how to explain it… it's like they first stretch you into a thread, then that thread moves through a small tube, until finally you're free and whoosh… you're back to normal." Edzard replied, making some movements with his hands, to give his explanation a better impact.

"That's… weird…" said Yasaka, who didn't want to feel what it would be like to be teleported in that way. After those words, the youkai leader let out a sigh, as she saw that Edzard was not paying her the attention she expected. This bothered her quite a bit, as she was used to making men drool when they looked at her, but it seemed that Edzard was not like that. Letting out another sigh, the Kitsune looked at her fiancé, whom she was beginning to grow fonder of than she had expected. Everything had started out as just respect, but every day she spent with him, with his friends and lovers, she began to realize that he was very different from the other men she had known. This was because he always looked her in the eyes, never diverted his gaze for a single second, and was also greatly respectful. But that was not what had really made her start to feel more affection for him, but what he did for her daughter. She had interrogated Sirzechs' sister to find out what had happened, and to say she was furious was an understatement, but that anger vanished when she remembered that the bastard who had dared to hurt her daughter was dead and had suffered before that. However, she was greatly surprised when she heard what Edzard had said when he appeared and saved her daughter…

'To think that you said Kunou was also your daughter… heh, heh… oh, by Amaterasu… I seem like a love-struck maiden… but… I guess it's not bad to start falling in love with him… I mean… I'm already his fiancée, I would just have to formalize this, but I'm afraid it's not time for that yet… we haven't known each other for a long time… no, it's best to let this blossom and mature more… if what I'm starting to feel for him is really love, then, I'll tell him and Asia-san everything at once, I won't back down.' Yasaka thought, only to stop when Edzard suddenly stopped.

"Ed-chan?" asked Serafall.

"Cover yourselves!" Edzard shouted as he extended both hands and shouted again. "MUL! KAH! DIIV!"

After the shout, Edzard's hands shone in gold as he took on his dragon aspect. The other leaders didn't understand what was happening, but a second later they understood, as they saw how two huge meteorites appeared in front of everyone.

"What the hell?!" Serafall shouted as she saw both pieces of stone stop less than five meters from them.

"Damn it, move!" Edzard shouted again, drawing the attention of those present.

To the astonished surprise of everyone, Edzard was sweating, as he was using huge amounts of Magicka to keep both meteorites away from them.

Seeing the state of Akatosh's son, everyone was worried. But still, they obeyed… well, almost everyone…

"You'll be fine?" Yasaka asked, worried about what would happen if Edzard was caught in the collision of those things.

"Don't worry about me, I have ways to get out of this, you guys get out of here and get to safety."

"B-b-but…"

"Listen to your fiancé, Yasaka-dono." said Odin as he jumped and flew away from the place. "It's nice that you worry about him, but you know he can take care of himself."

The way the old god spoke made the leader of Kyoto blush a little, but before she could even speak, she heard her "fiancé" again.

"Yasaka, move!" Edzard shouted, as his arms began to give way, causing the meteorites to advance.

Upon hearing Edzard's shout, Yasaka gave him one last look before moving away with a great leap. With that move, she joined the rest and without wasting a second, they moved away from the place.

When the son of Akatosh realized that they were far away, he looked at the two meteorites.

'What the hell is this? I'm using a lot of power just to try to hold them back, but I can't do it completely, those things are moving, slowly but steadily. Agh… Damn it, I don't have time. The «Telekinesis» spell won't hold any longer, no, it's time.' Edzard thought as he closed his eyes for a second… upon opening them, he opened his mouth and shouted. "FEIM!"

After that, the two auras that covered the meteorites disappeared, causing them to continue their course, crashing and creating a more than huge explosion, which completely engulfed the place.

BOOOMMM!

The enormous explosion generated by the collision of both meteorites shook the place, making everyone shudder.

"Do you think the kid will be okay?" Odin asked as he watched the explosion.

"Yes, he said it himself and if there's one thing we know about Ed-chan, it's that he keeps his word. He'll be fine, he'll be with us soon." said Azazel, who was flying, watching the explosion cautiously, knowing that there was no way a single meteorite could reach this place. "This is strange…"

"I understand you, how is it possible that a meteorite reached this place?"

Sirzechs' words died in his mouth when he noticed a presence behind them. Therefore, turning his head, he looked towards that place and saw a person dressed in a Victorian suit in the sky. Upon seeing him, he tried to scream, but before he could say anything, he saw how this individual, who had an extended hand, created a small red sphere in the palm of his hand.

"Say woo…" said the individual, then made the sphere explode.

A huge red shock wave emerged, taking everyone by surprise. This was due to the speed at which it was moving. Thanks to that speed, it managed to impact everyone, sending those who were flying to the ground at high speed.

"Azazel-dono! Sirzechs-dono! Leviathan-dono! / Brats!" Yasaka and Odin shouted in unison as they watched the being sent to the ground at high speed.

Seeing their allies fall, they tried to move to help them, but before they took a single step, they heard a laugh behind them.

"Ha, ha, ha!" a person behind Yasaka and Odin laughed maniacally.

That laugh made the two leaders turn their heads, watching as a blur approached them. The person was dressed similarly to the one who had attacked the others. Unfortunately, even though they saw him, they couldn't do anything else, as he disappeared in a burst of speed, reappearing in front of them.

When this individual appeared in front of them, he managed to take them by surprise, so they couldn't do anything when he moved a strange stick as if it were a club, threatening to hit them at the same time.

The speed of the attack greatly surprised the two leaders, who prepared themselves to receive the impact of the blow…

CLANK!

A deep and sharp sound made them open their eyes when they saw Edzard appear in front of them, blocking the attack, using his most powerful sword. The moment both weapons, forged with materials from opposite planes, collided, a huge magical shockwave was formed so large that it ended up dragging the leaders.

"¡AHHHH! / ¡KYAAA!" were the screams of the leaders when they felt they were being dragged by the shockwave, being sent several meters away like rockets.

The leaders flew out in different directions… or at least that's what would be expected, but before they even moved more than two hundred meters, a golden sphere appeared above them, causing them to be quickly attracted to it.

"Gkh." was the grunt that Sirzechs let out, feeling his body getting heavier and heavier.

The sphere continued to attract them a bit more, but before they all collided with the sphere, it dematerialized immediately, allowing the leaders to maneuver.

"I got you." said Serafall, who headed towards Yasaka and caught her when she saw her about to fall to the ground.

"Thank you, Leviathan-dono." Yasaka said with a tranquil smile, confident that she would not fall to the ground.

"You're welcome." Serafall responded with a smile. After that, she looked towards the place where they had been before.

The other leaders mimicked her action and, in doing so, saw that there, in front of them, floated the same individual who had attacked them before. Seeing him, everyone prepared to fight, but before they could move, they saw how Edzard was hurled towards them at high speed.

While the rest of the leaders were sent flying, Edzard was struggling with his enemy. The force exerted by both was such that a large crater formed on the ground under their feet just a second after the impact.

"Ha, ha, ha…! Incredible! To think that you managed to dodge my two meteorites and not only that, but you are also able to stand firm against me! I shouldn't expect less from someone like you!" shouted the subject, who, after that, smiled manically, causing his staff to emit black smoke, which showed Edzard the true appearance of the object.

The moment the eyes of Akatosh's son fell upon the object, they widened. What he had in front of him was something he himself had possessed for a while.

"You are-"

The words that were about to escape from Edzard's lips died out when the staff in front of him released an impressive red shock wave, hitting Edzard's body directly.

For Edzard, what followed was a whirlwind of confusion in his mind as he flew through the skies at breakneck speeds. The sensation experienced by Akatosh's son was the same as when he lay down on a hard bed, followed by a strange sense of freedom…

Edzard's mind took a few microseconds to react and, when it did, he realized he was flying, something he had not decided to do. Aware that he had to fight again, he quickly moved his wings and stabilized in the air.

When he stopped moving involuntarily in the sky, Edzard looked forward, but before he even moved, he heard his allies.

"Ed-chan!" was the cry from Serafall, who was closest to where Akatosh's son was.

Upon hearing her, Edzard turned his gaze towards her and let out a sigh when he saw them there.

"It seems they are fine." said Edzard as he approached them. "

Yes, thanks to you." replied Sirzechs, approaching Edzard.

The words of the current Lucifer made Edzard raise an eyebrow, as he didn't understand why Sirzechs was thanking him. "Why are you thanking me?"

"For having launched that golden magic ball…" replied Sirzechs, who looked at Edzard with confusion, as he was acting as if he hadn't cast that spell. "Wasn't it you who cast that spell?"

"No." Edzard replied quickly and frankly. "I was busy struggling with both hands, I couldn't cast any spell."

Edzard's words were a revelation that made everyone wonder what was happening. However, before anyone could say anything, they heard a voice near them.

"The Dovahkiin is right, it wasn't him who stopped them… It was me."

Upon hearing it, everyone, including Edzard, looked in that direction, thus seeing that the one who had stopped the faction leaders had been none other than the same person who had recently sent them flying.

"Please, there's no need to thank me," said the man with a smile on his face.

After those words, a purple vortex appeared next to this individual, from which emerged the same person who was about to hit Yasaka and Odin.

"He, he, he…! Wow… Everyone's fine! Perfect!" said the other individual with a big smile.

Seeing them there, everyone was on guard, preparing to fight. Edzard noticed this and felt that he knew those two individuals… Especially the one who had the damn Wabbajack in his hands.

'It's strange… I feel like I know them… But I can't remember their appearance…' Edzard thought as he looked at both intensely… however, wanting to know what was happening, he decided to use his other senses and the moment he did… His eyes opened again, as sweat began to form on his body…

"Guys…" said Edzard, drawing the attention of his allies, who looked at him and as they did, they felt their bodies freeze, because for the first time in their lives, they saw Edzard sweating from anxiety at seeing someone…

"Edzard-kun?" Yasaka asked with concern, as it was the first time, she had seen him like this… so different from how he looked before…

"Guys… I hope you're prepared to die today…" said Edzard, ignoring Yasaka's question.

Edzard's words caused everyone to look at him with wide eyes and fear, as they did not expect those words.

"What… what are you saying, Edzard?" Azazel asked with concern, as it was the first time, he had seen Edzard be so pessimistic.

"The battle we are about to enter will be very complicated for us… even one of those two would be a bigger problem than the fool who led the attack on Kyoto."

The mention of the attack on Kyoto made everyone feel a chill, as they remembered the power of Molag Bal's son and that made everyone wonder for a second why Akatosh's son said that only one of those subjects was a bigger problem than the son of a Daedric prince, as the only thing that came to mind being more powerful than the son of a prince was… The moment their minds were finally able to process what they were thinking, everyone felt a stone fall in their stomachs, leaving them breathless for a few seconds. Feeling their hands sweaty and fear emerging from their bodies, everyone looked at the two subjects, but only one of them could say what they were thinking.

"Damn… Who are they…?" asked Odin, who for the first time in several years felt fear.

"The one on the right, the one with the horns, is the Daedric prince of hedonism… Sanguine. And the other, I'm afraid he's the most dangerous of the two… the prince of madness, Lord of the Shivering Isles… Sheogorath."

The moment those words were spoken, the two mentioned princes bowed, showing they had manners. This made the leaders of the Draconic Deus factions look at them wide-eyed, as they did not expect them to act that way.

"Ha, ha, ha…! I love it…! It's clear that being married has made you a more cultured person!" Sheogorath, the maniac, shouted with laughter.

"Heh, heh… yes, you're right." said Sanguine, who, seeing them so defensive, decided to tease them a bit. "Now… I hope you have your inheritance papers up to date, because we won't let you leave here alive."

"That's right! We'll impale you and then roast you with cheese!" shouted Sheogorath, who looked at those present, then let out a laugh.

The words of the two princes sank into the minds of the leaders, who had their own regrets for a second, the most typical being not having been able to spend time with their loved ones. However, when they finished being in that spiral of depression, each one looked at the two Daedric princes and prepared to fight… well, almost all of them, because Edzard just put a hand to his head… because he had realized something.

'Three… two… one…' thought Edzard as he waited for what he knew was coming.

"Pufff… Ha, ha, ha! Oh, by Padomay! Your faces are priceless!" Sanguine began to laugh very loudly, quickly looking at Sheogorath. "Old Sheo, tell me you caught it!"

"Yes, their expressions have just been immortalized in Mania…!" the old Sheogorath shouted in response.

The response from these two made the leaders blink and lower their guard, as they did not understand what was happening.

"We were victims of a prank by those two." Edzard said after seeing them confused.

"What?" Odin asked with strangeness.

"They just joked with us."

"That means that…" Serafall said with some confusion on her face.

"Yes, we won't fight… Hahhhh… seriously, those two peanut heads." Edzard said, then looked at the two princes, who were laughing loudly. "This… Can you tell us why you came to this world in this way? And above all… Why did you make Orcus call us?"

The moment the two Daedric princes heard that, they stopped laughing, becoming serious immediately. After that, they looked at each other and after nodding, it was Sanguine who began to speak, because if Sheogorath did, he could change the subject at any moment and ignore the reason for their visit.

"Well… normally you know we wouldn't say anything about this, but the truth is… We're tired of Bal and Dagon's crap!" Sanguine shouted angrily, which was unusual for him.

The sudden expression that the Daedric prince of debauchery let out confused those present, so Edzard had to ask why.

"Those two are at war with each other, using this interesting world as a battlefield, destroying cities and towns, wiping out the cults we are creating in this world."

Sanguine's words made Edzard, and the rest understand why they were there.

"So, even though you, except for the Dovahkiin, do not like us, the truth is that we hate those fools more, so we are here to provide you with information."

"Information?" asked Azazel, who was looking suspiciously at both princes, as these two were the ones who had gotten him drunk and taken him to do God knows what in the red-light district of Amsterdam.

"That's right, my good friend crown… and you know the best part." said Sheogorath with a smile.

"What?" asked Sirzechs, looking at the two daedras.

"That this time it's free, like the cheese in enemy bases!" Sheogorath shouted as he extended both hands to the sky.

Upon hearing the way, he expressed himself, everyone was confused, but no one said anything to his words. This made Edzard the one who had to speak.

"I see… What kind of information is it?"

"It's about Bal and Dagon's plans."

The mention of this made everyone look at they with surprise and, above all, with expectation, as this was a golden opportunity.

"What information can you give us?" Azazel quickly asked.

"Not much, I'm afraid, as those two have everything very well guarded, but I suppose it's good news for you." Sanguine said nonchalantly. "It turns out that the battle between them is escalating, so they have run out of manpower in this world, because they will postpone all their plans for at least six or seven mortal months."

The moment everyone heard that, they were surprised, but before they rejoiced at having a respite, Sheogorath spoke.

"Yes, they will go on vacation for a while… But then they will come back and attack with everything!"

The phrase spoken by the Daedric prince only made the leaders of the Kuoh pact understand that they had gained a little time, so, upon looking at each other, they all concluded that they should have a meeting with the members of their factions to see what actions they would take.

"I see… I suppose I should thank you for this… but I want to know… What is the price we must pay for this information?" asked Edzard, who looked at both princes.

"Wow… how suspicious, we didn't say this was free." Sanguine replied with a smile.

"Heh… I wasn't born yesterday, Sanguine… I know that you always must pay for everything you give." Edzard sarcastically replied.

"Heh, heh… you do know us well… but this time we're telling the truth, this time it's free… but next time, it won't be. So, don't get used to it… Ah! And before I forget…Take this." Sanguine said with a smile as he snapped his fingers, making an unconscious Hades appear in front of them. "Consider this as a gift."

The eyes of all the leaders widened as much as possible when they saw Hades, one of the strongest beings in this world, unconscious. However, as much as they wanted to say something, no one could, because when they looked up, they saw the two princes disappearing into purple vortexes, leaving a smell of wine and cheese in the area.

"Wow… that was…" Odin said with an uncomfortable smile on his face.

"Terrifying." Azazel finished saying, who looked at his hand and saw it trembling slightly.

"Yes… but now… what do we do with this?" Sirzechs asked, who looked at Hades.

"We know what he has been doing… I say we tell the Greek faction everything that has happened, as well as the crimes he has committed against the other factions and Ed-chan's family." Serafall said, who began to think about how this would make the Greeks adhere to the pact almost immediately, after all, a prince defeated a god who was in the top ten of the strongest beings… this confirmed that they were very dangerous, to the point that she felt a chill run through her body.

"It will be for the best… now… let's go back… we have already solved the Daedra issue." Edzard said, who began to feel that things were moving in their favor… for the moment.

While Edzard and the rest of the leaders were in the territory near Orcus' castle, in Edzard's palace, Asia began to slowly open her eyes, only to close them again, as fatigue overcame her, making her sleep… However, that was not all, because in a room adjacent to the Dovahkiin's wife's room, her parents began to move their fingers, indicating that they too were about to wake up.

Author's Note:

To those who have made it this far, thank you for reading. To be honest, my English writing skills are not strong, and I'm relying on Google Translate and the dictionaries that come with Office 2019.

And finally, chapter 67 is here…

To start, Merry Christmas to everyone, I hope you had a great time with your family.

Now, unfortunately, this year everything has piled up at the end, university work, job, and serious family problems. All of this has made it impossible for me to do the typical marathon that I have been doing since I started these fanfics. Unfortunately, I have to say that I don't know if I will upload something for New Year's, but I will try to do it. Now, about something else, until things with my personal life get a little resolved or become tolerable, I won't be able to publish anything, and that will be one or two months, but I won't stop writing. If everything goes well, I will return with a marathon. Until then, I say goodbye. Good luck to everyone.

I apologize for any spelling errors. Please don't forget to leave a review if you enjoyed the chapter, or if there's something that needs improvement, or if you have any questions about the story. Any constructive advice is welcome. With nothing more to say, see you in the next chapter.
