"I'm," Alicia begins slowly. "I'm really glad that the medicine worked," she says, hands trailing up and down her stomach absentmindedly.

"I am too," AJ tells her, squeezing her nearest fingers. "I'm also glad I was able to get here in time to help get you settled once the hospital released you."

Alicia sighs. "I'm not going to take to bed rest well for the next three months." She shifts awkwardly and drops her head back, exhaling slowly. "I'm already this huge, it's only going to get worse when I can't even be active."

"That's fine," AJ tells her. "You're gorgeous either way. And it keeps these babies safe, and you healthy. That's the important thing."

"I'm so sorry I dragged you away from your home," Alicia says. "Your kids probably miss their mom."

"My kids are having the times of their lives spending all of their time when Mike's on the road with Maryse and Heath and their kids, or auntie Taya and uncle John. Trust me, they're not missing me much at all." AJ chuckles.

"I don't believe that at all," Alicia mumbles, medicine starting to ease her into sleep. "I was only in the hospital a couple days, and I felt like I couldn't breathe, I missed Andre so much sometimes."

AJ smiles a little, brushing some of the hair out of Alicia's eyes. "You sleep sweet, momma. I'll be right here, making sure Andre's taken well care of. You don't worry about a thing."

Sofia is in and out, offering AJ food and drink, sometimes just sitting with them, keeping a close eye on Alicia.

"She's going to be fine," AJ tells her softly. "Just needs to rest, and get through the next couple of months. Have the babies, and everything will be great."

"You are a good friend, AJ," Sofia whispers back, smoothing a hand over Alicia's stomach, staring down at where the babies are growing. "You hang in there, little ones. I look forward to meeting you as soon as you're big enough to safely make your big debuts."

AJ dozes off at some point and when she comes to, it's to find Ricardo kneeling on the bed, stroking Alicia's face and lingering into a kiss. "Oh," she mumbles, forcing herself upright. "Glad you're home, Ricardo." She shakes her hair out and stretches. "I'll let you two have some time alone. See you in the morning, Alicia."

"See you," Alicia sighs, sounding sleepy but pleased to see her husband. "I've missed you, Ricardo. How is the school going?"

AJ shuts the door behind her as she leans against it and yawns, scrubbing a hand through her hair. "I hope like hell this all goes as well as I keep insisting it will," she mumbles, making her way slowly down to the guest room that she's been settled into for the last few days.

Monday rolls around and AJ settles in with the remote, eager to watch Raw with Alicia. She's only seen her husband in video chats here and there, their schedules not jiving well, and it eats at her, but she's content to be here with Alicia, helping to take care of Andre, and making sure that Sofia and Ricardo are making it through alright.

They giggle and gossip and share a bowl of popcorn through out the show, AJ sitting up straighter when Ciampa finally comes out. Miz is quick to follow and she laughs when they clank those trading cards together. The match goes about as expected, AJ and Lashley keeping Mike and Tommaso on the ropes... until Miz is on the outside and someone appears in a dark hoodie, grabbing at him. Security snags him and pulls him away, but not permanently.

A minute later, the hoodied creep reappears, and throws it back to reveal the wild eyed face of Dexter Lumis. "What the-" Alicia has just sputtered when Lumis grabs Mike, pulls him back through the crowd, and into a stairwell, before they disappear from sight entirely.

AJ is on her feet, gaping at the TV in disbelief, and Alicia's troubled gaze keeps flickering from the TV to the woman, hand bracing her stomach as she sits up. "AJ-"

AJ quickly lunges across the room, grabbing her phone from where it had been charging. She rushes through her contact's list with trembling fingers until she finds the familiar number. "Come on, come on," she grouses as it rings and rings and rings.

Finally there's a click and Alicia can hear the muffled noise from the arena followed by a faint voice just barely audible over the hubbub, and AJ's teeth grits, putting it on speaker to try to hear better. "Tamina, please-"

"Look, I can't stay on the phone long," Tamina tells her. "Service up here ain't great, and I don't have unlimited international, but I promise you, AJ. I'm lookin', ok? If I hear or see anything, you're the first person I'm gonna let know. There are some dead zones in this arena because of the equipment, I'm heading up on one, so don't freak out if we get disconnected. I'll call you back as soon as I can-"

Then there's a sharp noise and the call drops and all AJ can do is stand there and stare brokenly at her phone, hoping and praying that Tamina will be able to find Mike, figure this out. Get him to safety like she had before, when the Wyatts had taken him all of those years ago.

"You," Alicia says quietly, clearing her throat. "You should go. I know you want to be there for him."

AJ slowly shakes her head. "If I could, I would. But by the time I get a flight from here to Canada, Lumis would be long gone anyway. Tamina is his best chance. Ciampa too, if he can help after how that match ended." She paces, tugging at her lips. "I... I can't do anything to help him but stay here and hope." She turns to look at Alicia, tears in her eyes. "There's nothing I can do."

Alicia's face crumbles and she reaches out for her. "I can't move," she chokes out. "You have to come to me, AJ."

And so AJ does, collapsing next to her on the bed and breathing in and out shakily as Alicia wraps her arms around her tightly and hugs her as best as she can while so heavily pregnant. "He has to be ok," she whimpers, digging her fingers into the back of Alicia's soft night gown.

"He will," Alicia murmurs, gently rocking her back and forth. "He will. There's no other option."

AJ nods, tears pouring down her face. After days of faking certainty towards Alicia's babies' viability, AJ is certain Alicia is doing the very same thing about this situation, but it is still somehow helping to hear certainty from anyone about her situation in this moment. She curls her arms around Alicia and hugs her back, tears still pouring down her face as she waits for the next phone ring.
