Alicia hums over her lasagna, smiling up at AJ as she chews on some garlic bread. "So," she says after a few moments. "Did Mike fly out alright?"

"Yes," AJ says. "He and Maryse are going to the Emmy's, I guess." She spears some noodles with her fork and quirks an eyebrow at Alicia. "I'm glad he's returning to some semblance of normalcy, you know. As nice as it is to have him here, I'm glad he felt comfortable enough to go somewhere."

"Even if it is with Maryse, and not you," Alicia says. Things immediately turn strained and tense and Alicia coughs, resting a hand on her stomach. "Hell," she mumbles. "I'm so sorry, I can't even blame that fully on hormones. I don't know why I said that. Please forgive me?"

AJ shrugs, putting her plate down to take a sip of root beer. "I, uh. You know, there's not really anything to forgive. It's just the facts of iit. Mike's with Maryse going to a fancy smancy awards show instead of being here with me and our kids. I know people talk, even the people in the know. I can't blame them, it is a weird, damn situation, and the fact we've kept it going this long is... well, it's ridiculous and it's impressive, I guess."

"Still," Alicia says, absentmindedly twisting her fork around the sauce on her plate. "I shouldn't have opened my big mouth. I think these babies are zapping away whatever was remaining of my brain-"

"Well," AJ says, turning back to her meal. "Pregnancy fog can definitely be a pain. I remember how slow and non-sensible I felt when I was pregnant with George. Sara didn't seem too bad, but oh man,-" She looks up and catches the look of concentration and awe on Alicia's face. "Lees?" she asks, cutting herself off mid-sentence. "You alright?"

"Babies are kicking," Alicia murmurs. "Or, well, one of them are at least." She catches AJ's hand and rests it on the swell of her stomach, guiding it until i rests where the more solid of the kicks are at. "They- they feel stronger than before. When they kicked before, it was like... fluttering. I wasn't even sure what it was at first, but now I can really feel it."

AJ waits patiently, her lips parting when she finally feels the solid pressure against her palm. "Oh," she breathes out. "Oh yeah, that's a good, strong kick there, little one. You just hang out, and keep getting stronger. Your momma, your daddy, and your little brother will be here whenever you're both ready, and so will I."

They beam at each other and go back to eating, Alicia drifting off not long afterwards, the pregnancy still tiring her out despite the hours she spends in bed.

AJ gives her a few quiet moments to really drift before taking her leave, checking on the kids and peeking in at Sofia before sneaking into the living room to turn on Raw and try to catch a glimpse of her husband.

Each mention of Lumis agitates Mike further and she can't blame him, wishing that people would for once listen, be respectful, and stop trying to pry answers out of her husband when he can barely talk to her about whatever happened much less everyone else, the two of them quietly discussing maybe therapy, although Mike is reluctant to add it to his already packed schedule.

AJ watches Mike and Maryse bid the kids goodnight- wondering absently where Heath is hiding out during all of this- and take their leave for the award's show. She's close to shutting the TV off and finding something else to do for the evening when the cameras pan back to the house and... there's Lumis standing in the window, showing off a drawing of Mike, Maryse and the two kids. "NO!" AJ cries out, dashing for her phone. "No, no-"

Madison and Monroe are innocent in all of this, they were never meant to be targets but now this mass murderer is in the house, and- "Please," she begs her ringing phone. "Please- answer-"

It clicks and she immediately cries out, "The kids- Madison- Monroe, Lumis is in the house, you HAVE TO GET TO THEM, understand?"

There's silence, then the call ends with a sharp beep, and all AJ can do now is sit back and wait, holding her breath and hoping for the children to be safe.
