Chapter 4: A NEW HOME

The Jedi Council Chamber was filled with a stunned silence following Revan's declaration. The idea of separating from the Republic and Coruscant was a radical one, a concept that had never been seriously considered before.

" The Jedi belong to the galaxy and its people, not to the Republic ! "

Revan's words echoed in the chamber, challenging the councilors' long-held beliefs. The councilors exchanged glances, their faces reflecting a mix of shock, contemplation, and uncertainty. The idea was radical, yes, but it also made sense.

The Jedi Order had always been a guardian of peace and justice in the galaxy, not just the Republic. And with the looming threat of the Sith, it was more important than ever for the Jedi to be seen as a neutral force, a beacon of hope for all beings, not just those under the Republic's jurisdiction.

" We will need to find a new home, a place where we can train and nurture the Chosen One and all future Jedi in the ways of the Force. " Revan continued, his voice steady and confident.

" A place that is strong with the Force, a place that is secluded and safe from the prying eyes of the Sith and their allies. "

The councilors nodded, understanding the wisdom in Revan's words. A new home, a new beginning, was what the Jedi Order needed to face the challenges ahead.

" I propose we consider the planet of Tython." Revan suggested.

" It is a world strong with the Force and a world that has been hidden from the galaxy for centuries. It is the birthplace of the Jedi Order, and it is there that we will find the balance we seek. "

The councilors exchanged glances, their faces reflecting a mix of surprise and contemplation. Tython was a world steeped in Jedi history, a world that had been forgotten by many.

But Revan was right. It was a world strong with the Force, a world that could provide the Jedi Order with the seclusion and safety it needed.

"There will be a lot to do to move the order." Mace Windu said, his voice steady and determined.

"We will need to gather our resources, our knowledge, and our people. But, it is necessary to face the challenges ahead. "

The councilors nodded, their faces set. They were ready to follow the will of the Force, to embrace balance, and to guide the Jedi Order towards a new era.

As the councilors began to discuss their plans, Revan watched them, his heart filled with hope. He knew that convincing them, even though it took the most part of the day, was too easy. Of course, the force helped a lot in giving credibility to his words. But, one cannot overcome a millenia of dogma in a few standard hours. An easy victory like this meant doubts, objections, probably dissents down the road.

He sighed in advance.

But, the most important was achieved. The Jedi Order was finally moving, evolving, and he was hopeful that it would be ready to face whatever challenges the future held.
