Chapter 5: RETURN OF THE SITH

Within the hallowed halls of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, a sense of anticipation filled the air. The Jedi Council had spent the last couple of days in deep deliberation with the mysterious figure known as Revan, sent by the Force itself.

Whispers of the meeting echoed through the temple, igniting curiosity and speculation among the Jedi, especially, when the Council ordered a 2 standard-days confinement of the temple. No information should leak to the outside.

Knights and padawans were to return and stay within the temple. The same applies to Masters also unless they had duties to perform outside as to not arouse too much suspicion or curiosity.

If questions were asked, the guards were instructed to tell outsiders that all jedi were convened to a meditative retreat and that the temple will be in full seclusion during that time.

In fact, one senator of Naboo was one of those rebuffed by the temple guards when he tried to gain access to the temple for a meeting with the council.

Despite his insistence on the urgency, the guards stayed unmoving on the no access rule given by the high council. He retreated and if the guards were not occupied by other visitors trying to gain entrance, they would have seen the rage and hatred in his eyes.

For the rest of the order, it was time to know what was going on. Revan's presence had unsettled the councilors, but they had emerged with a newfound sense of purpose and determination. Now, it was time to share their revelations with their fellow Jedi.

The council had decided to make 2 announcements.

A first announcement to the entire Jedi Order without mentioning the Sith.

The second would happen after the younglings, initiates, Padawans, and knights were safely evacuated. It would be made to the remaining masters, revealing the true nature of the threat.

This approach aimed to avoid a sudden surge of strong emotions that could potentially alert the Sith. The masters were deemed more capable of handling the truth with some help from the force.

As all the Jedi in the temple gathered in the vast meeting hall, situated deep within the temple where the Force was strongest to shield them, an air of curiosity mingled with an undercurrent of apprehension settled in the crowd.

Many wondered why this specific location was chosen and why everyone, including the younglings, had been summoned. The guards' gossip hinted at a significant event, but the details remained shrouded in mystery.

Standing at the center of the assembly, Master Yoda called the meeting to order. The room fell into silence as every Jedi turned their attention to the venerable master.

- "Spoken has the Force, and listened we have. Today, news of great importance we share. Shape the future of the Jedi Order, the news will."Master Yoda began, his voice resonating with wisdom and authority.

- "Feel all of you did the event in the Force. Change the Force wants for us, and follow the Force Jedi must. Visiting from the Force is Revan. Sent to us through time by the will of the Force. Marks his arrival the dawn of a new era. Time it is for change and adaptation." As Master Yoda's words hung in the air, a murmur of confusion and intrigue rippled through the assembly. Jedi exchanged glances, their expressions puzzled.

- "Revan's presence among us signifies a turning point, a call to action. We know you have questions. We ask you to trust the force and us for now. All will be explained in detailed in due time. For now, time is of essence. " Master Windu added, his voice steady and resolute.

- "To Tython, our ancient home, we must journey, for it surpasses even our grand temple on Coruscant. We must prepare ourselves for this momentous journey. We shall venture forth in utmost secrecy until we are all safely on Tython. No one is allowed to speak of this aloud or to outsiders.

From this moment on, all Jedi, including those already on planned missions, shall continue their normal activities to maintain appearances. Further explanations will be given once we have arrived on Tython. All the younglings, iniate and padawans have to stay inside the temple with no contact with the outside world. The same applies to newly knights unless they are cleared by mind healers as to the strenght of their mental shields."

The words hung in the air, penetrating the hearts and minds of the Jedi. Whispers of astonishment and excitement swept through the room as they tried to comprehend the magnitude of what lay ahead.

Before the Jedi could fully absorb the weight of these revelations, Revan stepped forward, a figure emanating both mystery and purpose.

- "Together, we embark on a grand undertaking my fellow Jedi. It may seem scary but remember, our ally is the force." Revan proclaimed, his voice carrying an air of authority that demanded attention.

-"But first, I must venture to Tython to ascertain the condition of our ancestral temple and ensure its readiness to house the Jedi Order once more. In the meantime, preparations for our departure must be made in haste and utmost secrecy." The room buzzed with a mix of excitement, curiosity, and concern.

The Jedi knew they were on the precipice of an extraordinary journey, but the details remained elusive. As Revan departed to fulfill his mission, a sense of urgency filled the air.

The evacuation of the younglings and the subsequent departure of younglings, padawans, newly knights and their masters had to be executed swiftly and discreetly. Every precaution was taken to ensure the outside world, especially the Sith, remained oblivious to their plans.

Two weeks later, once the younger part of the order was safely en route to Tython, the remaining Jedi masters convened again in the depths of the temple. The announcement they had awaited with bated breath was finally at hand.

Master Yoda's voice resonated through the chamber, carrying the weight of their collective destiny.

- "To reveal the truth, the time has come."

Master Yoda declared, his voice commanding attention.

- "Returned The Sith have, and in grave danger the Jedi are." they were a collective gasp at his words.

- "Sent by the will of the Force Revan has been. Guide us through this perilous journey, he will. Destined for Tython, a beacon of light and a sanctuary for the Jedi, we are."

A wave of astonishment swept through the assembly as the reality of their predicament sunk in. Some masters struggled with waves of fear, but the Force surged within the chamber, providing solace and strength to those present.

- "In this time of uncertainty, we must remain calm and centered in the Force." Master Windu emphasized, his voice steady and reassuring.

- "Those who struggle with their emotions shall receive guidance and support from a specially trained team of mind healers, chosen by Revan himself. Unity, strength, and harmony shall guide our path forward."

The Jedi masters listened attentively, their resolve strengthened by the knowledge that they were not alone. Together, they would overcome the challenges that lay ahead. The path before them was shrouded in uncertainty, but they stood united, their faith in the Force guiding their every step.

As the preparations on Coruscant neared completion and the temple emptied of its belongings and inhabitants, the next phase of their plan was getting ready to be implement : announcing the change to the Republic Senate and the galaxy. One thing was certain, the galaxy was about to undergo a seismic shift that would disrupt some carefully laid plans.
