Chapter 117
Hiccups POV:
I slowly made my way into the bamboo forest not letting my guard down for even a second since there was no telling what was lurking in this forest with it being a part of Akuhei's lair. I kept my eyes open under the kappa's shell as I slowly walked past the bamboo trees with the feeling that I was being watched but I didn't see anyone or anything around. I wasn't fooled though since I've seen a few of the creatures Akuhei has at his disposal so I wouldn't be surprised if one of these creatures was able to camouflage themselves to blend in with the surroundings. It was for this reason I kept my hands together hiding them in the sleeves of my kimono as to not reveal the fact that my ice claws were active and ready to strike down any threat that attacks me. It was then I looked up ahead and still saw nothing other than bamboo but I knew just because things were quiet now didn't mean things were going to stay quiet. It was at that moment I felt something try to stop my leg and quickly looked down only to find a trip wire right before the sound leaves rustling mixed with the sound of wooden cranks at my sides echoed through the forest. Knowing this was a trap my instincts kicked in, making me tuck and roll back just in time as the sound of leaves rustling and wooden cranks turned out to be a major trap. On the place where I was standing were multiple red-tailed darts flying past and into the bamboo trees across from it. When the darts stopped flying I shook my head and said.
"Nice try but it's not going to be that easy."
With that said I walked around the trap wondering what other forms of lethal surprises awaited me in this forest of doom. I kept my eyes peeled on the ground and my surroundings as I continued walking down the path ready to take on any threat. As I walked I still had the feeling I was being watched but I kept my guard up and looked around only to see nothing once more. It was then I noticed another trip wire in my path but this time I stopped in front of it before I kneeled down and took out my claws as I said.
"Let's see what trap this one sets off."
I used my ice claws to gently pull the wire and waited for the trap to be triggered which was only a second later as multiple metal spikes burst from the ground right before two large metal plates that the spikes were on snapped shut like a snapper trap. I backed up from the trap and watched as the plates sunk back into the ground before the spikes retracted. I knew that trap was definitely more lethal than the last and decided it might be better if I went off path and avoid these traps but then again there could be worse traps in the forest. I decided it best to stay on the path as the forest would make things more difficult to spot the traps and for all I know Akuhei could've had a few of his beasts lurking in the forest ready to pounce on anyone who was driven from the path.
Half an hour later
Nobodies POV:
It's been half an hour since Hiccup first entered the forest and, in that time, he's had to deal with multiple lethal traps with more than a few catching him off guard and almost claiming his life. Because of this Hiccup was really getting tired of the traps as he made his way down the path leading to Akuhei's fortress. It was then his foot landed on a hidden switch before the sound of something dropping behind him caught his attention and turned only to see three crossbows form from the tops of shorter bamboo trees before they began firing bolts at him. Seeing the danger, they presented Hiccup quickly ran from the oncoming bolts only for the crossbows to follow him wherever he ran showing them to be enchanted and that he wasn't going to be able to avoid this trap as easily as the others. Knowing it could be a while before they ran out of bolts Hiccup quickly took off the kappa shell and threw it at the bamboo holding the crossbow but he didn't stop running as the shell sliced through the bamboo stalks making the crossbows fall to the ground and shattering on impact. Hiccup stopped to summon the shell back to him as he held out his hand before placed it back on his head as it took its helmet form. Hiccup walked up to the crossbows and kneeled down to examine the crossbows to see if there was anything that might show how they were able to follow him when he ran to avoid them. Hiccup picked up a piece of the crossbow and found runes carved into the wood that were giving a slight glow. Hiccup dropped the piece and said.
"Must be some kind of enchantment." He stood back up. "These traps are getting more complicated as I go along." He looked back down at the crossbow. "Going to have to be more careful from here on." With that said he continued walking down the path.
Akuhei's fortress
Akuhei stood in a circular room made from black marble with ten black marble pillars with red dragons wrapping around them holding the roof up with Hiccups god made weapons tossed aside on the ground like worthless pieces of junk but to be fair, with their magic gone they were nothing more than fancy looking weapons. When compared to the weapon hovering in the center of the room in front of Akuhei who smiled at the sight of such power that no man or god would ever be able to match. Akuhei knew at this point he would not be able to wield it himself as merely touching it would ensure his demise but that is why he'd stolen Hiccups prosthetic limb. It was then the sound of bells began to ring through the temple showing how close Hiccup had gotten to the palace making Akuhei shake his head in annoyance and said.
"Congratulation Hiccup, not that many people have made it as far as you have in such a short amount of time." He then turned to the weapon. "Sadly, I am not yet ready for you to come so I'm afraid you'll have to settle for some old friends for now." He then raised his hand as it began glow red before the sound of scraping stone echoed through the palace followed by multiple hissing sounds and the tapping of legs. "They should keep you busy long enough for me to finish preparing for your arrival." He then left the room into another where his mystics waited surrounding a large alter as the one at the front bowed and said.
"All is ready to begin my lord but are you sure you wish to go through with this for once you do it cannot be undone?"
"I must make sacrifices if I am to gain the power I desire." The mystic bowed.
"Yes, my lord." Akuhei then walked past him and lay down on the alter.
"Let the ceremony begin now." As soon as he said that three golden restraints shackled his right arm to the alter before one mystic carrying a large sword made of jade walked up behind him ready to begin.
Back with Hiccup
Hiccup continued to walk down the path hoping that he'd be able to find Akuhei's lair soon as he was truly getting annoyed with dodging the traps. He'd just had to duck out of the way of a spinning razor disk that nearly took off his head but instead only succeeded in cutting off the tops of a few of the bamboo shoots before flying off to who knows where. Hiccup kept walking on the path ready avoid any trap he might encounter since so far, he's had to deal with nearly every trap imaginable except a pit trap of some kind. Hiccup stared in the direction the disk flew off into before he sighed in aggravation as he shook his head and said.
"This is really getting annoying." He then looked ahead. "Hopefully Akuhei's lair is close, means I can finally stop dodging these traps since I'd rather not lose anymore limbs." As soon as he said that he heard scuttling along with multiple hisses. "What now?" The sounds got closer as Hiccup readied his ice claws before a look of realization came to his face. "Wait a minute, I know that sound but I thought I killed them all." The things making the sound was closing in. "Well at least I have experience dealing with them." He got into his battle stance. "Time to crush some bugs."
No sooner did he finish saying that did the creatures making the sound to be giant spiders like those the jorogumo had bread in the abandoned hut she lived in. Hiccup didn't stop to think about the past as he readied his ice claws to take on the large spiders that were running towards him right before one spider the size of a baby yak leapt at him but Hiccup held up his ice claw and launched a single icicle towards it impaling it in the middle of its body throwing it back. Hiccup was then forced to duck beneath two more spiders of the same size that pounced at him but as they flew over him he stabbed them in the undersides freezing them as they past making them shatter as the landed. It was then another spider leapt at him from the side but Hiccup turned with his leg up giving a kick that extended and spun the blades on his boots and slice right through the spider killing it. It was then a large swarm of ten spiders were running at him and knew he would have a difficult time dealing with all of them so he uncurled the legs of his spider pack and aimed them at the oncoming enemies along with his ice claws.
When they were only fifteen feet away from him Hiccup immediately began firing the red crystals from the tips of the legs and icicles from the claws all aimed at the spiders. The spiders didn't stand a chance as they were pelted with the projectiles killing most of them but three of them were able to get out of the way while their siblings in front of them took the blows. Hiccup didn't notice as they circled around him making sure to stay out of sight as he continued launching crystals and icicles at the other spiders. Hiccup stopped launching when he saw all the spiders in front of him were both dead and full of holes making him smile until a screech sound at his side caught his attention. He turned his head just in time to see a spider the size of a baby yak pouncing at him and was only three feet away but before it could the top right spider leg turned to it and thrust forward stabbing it in the abdomen. It was then another spider came up and attacked on the other side only to suffer the same fate as the one before it and was impaled on the upper left leg. It was then the third one that escaped being pelted by projectiles crawled over the corpses of his fallen brethren and leaped at Hiccup intent on ending his life but Hiccup made the legs holding the spider corpses swing forward throwing the corpses right at the attacking spider. The bodies struck the spider in midair with such force that it went flying back onto the path sending them all tumbling back before the ground beneath them opened up with the spiders falling right into it. The last thing Hiccup saw of the spiders was a burst of flames come from the pit they fell in as a screech echoed out of it before the opening closed up. Hiccup stared at where the pit appeared as he walked up to where the pit appeared and said. "Found a hidden pit trap and killed the remaining spiders." He shrugged. "Well I guess that's killing two birds with one stone." He then walked around the pit trap and continued on the path.
Akuheis lair
Akuhei sat up from the alter and admired the results of the ceremony smiling before a mystic ran in and bowed to Akuhei as he said.
"My apologies sire but I bring news of Hiccup Haddock."
"Have the spiders dealt with him?"
"No, my lord, they've all been cut down by Hiccup Haddock who also used one of the flaming pit traps to execute the final one."
"It matters not as I can breed more of them at a later time but for now we need to finish the final preparations." A dark smile then came to his face. "Fortunately, my enslaved koma inu at the entrance should buy me more than enough time to prepare." The mystic nodded as Akuhei stood up. "Now I have to finish the preparations so leave me." They all nodded and left the room as Akuhei studied his new alterations. "Soon Hiccup, you may have beaten my minions but you shall not defeat me and I shall claim the cities you've been to and enslave all those you call friends." With that said he let out a bone chilling laugh that echoed through the chambers.
Back with Hiccup
I'd finally made it to the palace and looked up at the long stairway leading up to a large palace built into the side of a mountain and let out a sigh before he said.
"At long last my journey is almost at an end." He stared up at the palace. "Why do I get the feeling that there's one final challenge waiting for me up at the top of the stairs." He sighed and shook his head as he looked down. "Might as well just get this over with so I can go home and face the challenge of dealing with both my parents and the tribe."
With that said he began his long descent up the stairs to begin his attack on the palace not stopping for a moment knowing every second counted with Akuhei coming closer to completing his plan. When he reached the top, he stood at the top of the stairs and looked up at the large building before him and sighed knowing finding his way around the place was not going to be easy. He took notice of two large black stone statues at the entrance that looked like a mix between dogs and lions. The statues were about the size of a gronkle, had curly mains and tails along with very sharp teeth and fangs with one having a single horn sprouting out of its head. The thing that caught his eye the most was the black metal collars wrapped around their necks with the glowing red gems in the middle of them. Hiccup stared at the statues for a few seconds knowing they could be a trap but as he got closer to the door they didn't move making Hiccup think they might just be there to intimidate intruders. Despite this minor possibility Hiccup continued towards the entrance but when he was only ten feet away from the door the gems on the collars began to glow making Hiccup step back and take out Pirus and Ventus before slamming them together forming his double-bladed staff that he held at the ready. Just as he got into position the statues broke open showing the stone to be thin sheets of stone covering the beasts inside. The beasts inside the stone were the same as the statues except their manes and tails were silver and their fur were silver while their eyes glowed red. These beasts are what is known as koma inuthat are known to guard sacred places from those that would damage them but thanks to Akuhei's magic these koma inu had been turned into nothing but obedient guard dogs. They turned to face him as he got into his battle stance and said.
"Well I guess guards at the front door are to be expected." He looked at the beasts. "Let's get this over with you overgrown mutts."
They both roared in anger at this as they shook off the remaining stone pieces and walked off their pedestals with the hornless one taking up position in front of the door while the one with the horn began advancing towards Hiccup. Hiccup didn't take his eyes off the one approaching him as it began to slowly circle him but Hiccup kept his guard up until it was right behind him. When he turned around to face the koma inujust as it pounced onto him with its teeth and claws bared but Hiccup held up the staff to block the attack but the weight of the koma inupinned him to the ground. Hiccup used the staff to hold back the beasts snarling face by holding the staff against the neck as the koma inu snapped its jaws at his face missing it only by a few inches each time but it was getting closer. Hiccup could see this and knew he needed to find a way to get this beast off him before he remembered the stairs were right behind him so putting all his strength into his legs he placed both his feet on the belly of the beast, then using all his strength he tossed the koma inu over his head. It went tumbling down the steps of the palace allowing Hiccup to stand back up and turn his attention to the remaining koma inu that was now glaring at Hiccup.
Hiccup pointed the Ventus end at the koma inubefore he slowly began walking towards it with his weapon at the ready but the only movement the koma inu made was it crouched down ready to strike. Hiccup swung the Ventus blade at koma inu sending a powerful blast of wind towards it slamming it in the sides and knocking it to the side into a pillar holding the roof up. Hiccup didn't celebrate however as the koma inu stood back up showing the strike had no effect on it. It glared at Hiccup who stood ready to take the beast on with the Pirus end facing it before he slammed it down sending a fiery blast at it but the beast leapt right over it and landed on the other side of the flame that only hit the pillar. The koma inu continued its charge towards Hiccup who immediately charged at the koma inu with the Ventus end at the front but when he was only five feet away he slammed the blade into the ground and pole vaulted over the koma inu. Hiccup landed a good five feet away and slid another ten feet across the ground. Before the koma inu could turn around however he charged at it as he broke the staff turning Pirus and Ventus back into their sword forms and dropped to the ground. He slid between the koma inu's legs holding the blades out cutting into the back legs and front legs as he slid out behind it. Hiccup quickly stood back up and turned back to the koma inu to see the results of the damage he'd done and watched as the koma inu dropped down on to its haunches.
Hiccup smiled at the downed beast but before he could do anything else however a loud growl coming from behind him caught his attention. He turned to where the sound came from only to see the koma inu that he'd thrown down the stairs had made its way back up and was not looking the least bit happy with Hiccup. It was then another growl caught his attention and he turned to see the koma inu he just wounded was getting back up with its wounds fully healed as if they were never there. They both began circling him as he readied his weapons and watched as they circled him like vultures circling their prey but Hiccup kept ready. He saw they were getting ready to pounce but an idea formed in his mind on how to deal with them both. When they both jumped at him he slammed the hilts together merging the hilts together before they extended stabbing the blades right into the crystals on the collars that shattered. The koma inu's dropped to the ground unconscious confusing Hiccup as he looked down at them before he shrugged and said.
"They must've been powered by those crystals somehow." He then shook his head. "Well, no time to worry about them when I'm so close to getting back what's mine." With that said he made his way through the doors leaving the unconscious koma inu behind.
With Akuhei
Akuhei stared at his reflection in a mirror admiring the results of his hard work with his newest weapon in his hand and a smile on his face as whispered.
"After all this time studying, gathering and preparing what was needed for my ultimate plan and now after all these years everything is ready to begin reshaping the world in my image." It was then a mystic walked in. "This better be good."
"My apologies my lord but the koma inu guarding the entrance have been defeated and Hiccup Haddock has made it into the palace." Akuhei turned to him.
"Is that so?" The mystic nodded making Akuhei smile. "It matters not as all has been prepared." Akuhei took a cloak from a hook on the wall and covered his body as he said. "Well now it wouldn't be right for us not to go and greet our guest." He chuckled and walked to the exit of the room. "Prepare yourself Hiccup for before your death I shall reveal to you the truth of the opponent you face." With that said he walked out.
Back with Hiccup
Hiccup had been exploring the palace and so far, he'd come up empty with no signs of life other than the other than the occasional spider. The when he walked through the front door first he found himself in a long hallway with multiple indents in the walls holding large vases that must have cost a fortune. When he broke out of that hall he found himself in a large room with multiple doors leading to multiple different rooms with some leading to halls. The strange thing was in some rooms he found multiple treasures from different lands and civilization some of which he's been to and recognized some of the treasures as lost artifacts that many spent their lives searching for in order to return them. One room was particularly odd to Hiccup as it held multiple items such as pelts, skulls, weapons, pieces of armor and other such things resting on stands. Behind the pelts, skulls and weapons were large statues of the beasts they came from along with a golden nameplate. This room reminded Hiccup a lot of his own trophy room back in his home but is also greatly confused him as he recognized some of the beasts from legends of the different places he's been but the strange thing was according to the legends these beasts were killed by a great hero. Hiccup went through multiple rooms before he finally walked through a door leading to the back of the palace where a large balcony overlooking a pit full of stone spikes lay below. Hiccup walked out and stood by the railing that was made of metal that had been painted red and looked down at the pit while also taking note how some of the spikes had bodies impaled on them. It was then a voice next to him said.
"So, what do you think of my home Hiccup?" Hiccup immediately turned to face where the voice came from as he readied his ice claws only to see Akuhei standing there and looking at the cliffs as Hiccup pointed his claws at him making him chuckle. "There's no need for such violence at this moment Hiccup." Hiccup didn't lower the claws as Akuhei turned his head to face him. "I have to say Hiccup I am impressed as no other has made it as far as you have, nobody else has even made it into my forest." He then tilted his head and let out another chuckle. "It's funny, when I look at you I actually see myself back when I was younger and it reminds me that we aren't so different." Hiccup glared at him.
"We are nothing alike Akuhei."
"Don't be so sure about that as the beginnings of our stories are much the same."
"What do you mean by that demon?"
"Hiccup before I was a demon I was a human being just like you." He turned back to face the cliffs. "If you'll lower your claws for a minute I shall tell you of what of my past my dear replacement."
"Replacement?"
"Indeed Hiccup." He looked up at the sky. "When I was young I grew up in a small village where we mostly farmed rice and like you I was the village heir and also the runt who nobody wanted so I was often bullied however like you I didn't let it stop me from trying to prove myself but while you invented I studied magic and like you my efforts always ended in disaster that lead to more abuse." He shook his head. "One day the girl I liked invited me out on a picnic, I remember feeling so happy that she might return my feelings for her." He then looked down with a frown. "What a fool I was." He then looked back up as his hands tightened on the railing and growled. "Turns out it was all a cruel joke in which I was ambushed stripped of my belongings and tied to a bamboo tree while her and the rest of my generation laughed as I cried before they left me to deal with the bonds myself." He sighed. "I didn't get free till midnight and when I got home my parents were furious and punished me despite me telling them what happened but all I got was them scolding me for making up stories." He looked down again. "My own parents didn't believe me." He shook his head and sighed. "I yelled how they were never parents to me and ran away from the only home I'd ever known." He looked back up. "Like you without those to torment me I was able to get stronger until the day came when I myself took on a monster in the form of the demon Ibaraki doji and like you I was well rewarded by the gods for it in the form of my own land where we are now." He smiled. "From there things just took off with me travelling to many lands to continue my quest for knowledge but in every land, there was an evil I was forced to face." He turned back to Hiccup. "You did see the trophies in my trophy room correct?" Hiccup nodded.
"We may have been alike once Akuhei but why did you refer to me as your replacement?"
"An excellent question Hiccup but one that needs to wait for an answer." He turned back to the cliffs. "It was years later when I faced my greatest enemy, a dragon known as the Orochi." He shook his head. "That battle almost claimed my life but, in the end, I was able to win against it and trap both the beast and its powers within an orb the gods forged specifically for that purpose." He looked to the sky. "I felt I could use the power to help the world but I needed the gods to help me do so but they refused saying it was too much power for a mere mortal champion to wield." He turned back to the pit. "It was then I realized I had become a slave to the gods and I needed to free himself if I was ever going to unlock my true power so I turned my back on them searching for a way to control the power." He looked to Hiccup. "Then you came along and took my place as a slave to the gods but with it you brought me a way to command that power." He smirked. "I drained your weapons of their magic and imbuing them into a rare metal that I then forged into the blade of a weapon that would allow me to harness the power of the Orochi and do what needed to be done to cleanse this world of evil." He then turned to Hiccup. "Now you know my story and now I ask that you hear my offer."
"Your offer?" Akuhei nodded.
"Hiccup I have been watching through your journey and I have to say you have done what nobody else has, you have impressed me and it is for these reasons I offer to break the chains the gods use to hold you and offer a place at my side not as my second in command but as my equal partner."
"Your partner?"
"Yes Hiccup." He gestured to himself and Hiccup. "We've both been slaves to the gods only fed trickles of the power that they have but with the power of the Orochi at our command we could conquer them, take their power for ourselves and then reshape the world in our own image making it safe for the people by eradicating any evil, poverty, hunger, crimes-"Hiccup cut him off.
"And any freedom." Akuhei stared at him before he smiled and shrugged.
"A small price to pay for peace but the people will be happy."
"No, the people will be slaves and prisoners as those are what people become when their freedom is taken from them."
"But imagine the power we shall wield."
"I don't do what I do because I want power, I do help people who are in need and to protect the world." He glared at Akuhei. "Unlike you my only desire for power is that which I've earned and be used to protect those I care about from evil beings like you." Akuhei sighed as he shook and lowered his head.
"Noble and loyal to the last breath Hiccup, admirable but also painfully annoying."
"Not as painful as this."
Hiccup immediately shot out multiple icicles at Akuhei who just smirked before they were all shattered not by him but by five men in strange clothes with cape and black straw helmets with colored patterns on them. The only thing that made it possible to tell them apart was the weapons they wielded, the color of their clothes and the patterns on their helmet. The one on the far right wore a dark blue outfit with a wave shaped pattern on his helmet while wielding a hook sword in each hand and the one next to him was wearing a pure white outfit with a pattern that looked like wind blowing while holding a kunai in each hand while the ones on the far left wore dark red outfit with fire like patterns on the helmet and wielding a naginata with the one next to him in a dark brown outfit with stone patterns on the helmet, wielding a kyoketsu-shoge but the one in the middle was wearing a dark metallic grey outfit mixed in with the straw on his helmet, wielding a ninjato. (AN: If you're having trouble picturing these guys then just google 'The warriors way sad flutes' and picture those ninjas but add in the patterns and color for the leaders.) Hiccup turned his attention back to face Akuhei hoping for an explanation as he grinned at Hiccup as he said.
"These five ninjas were once the leaders of the five greatest clans Japan has ever known." He pointed to the ninja in blue. "The rushing water ninja clan." He pointed to the ninja in white. "The silent wind ninja clan." He pointed to the ninja in red. "The flaming forest ninja clan." He pointed to the ninja in brown. "The crushing earth ninja clan." He pointed to the ninja in metallic grey. "And the metal blade ninja clan." He shook his head. "They were once like you Hiccup, I offered them a place at my side as my assassins and generals but they turned me down and for that I killed them however I would not allow their souls freedom and captured them before imprisoning them in these magical bodies enslaving them and their skills to me." He gestured to them. "They now serve as my own personal guard, a price that you to shall pay for defying me."
"So, you're going to send your minions to do your dirty work and take me down?" Akuhei chuckled at this as he shook his head.
"No, dealing with you is something that I've been wanting to do myself for a long time." The five-ninja stepped aside allowing their master to walk through. "I believe it's time for you to see the results of my work." As soon as the words left his mouth black metallic wings burst from his back throwing the cloak off revealing his body was covered by the same armor Hiccup wore when he took on Tusk when he was under Drago's control but like the wings the gold of the armor had been turned into black metal with red glowing out of the cracks.
"What did you do to my wings and armor?"
"Oh, are you surprised by how much better they look on me?" He chuckled. "I've turned their magic into my own and now they both answers to me."
"But in order to use my prosthetic arm you'd have needed to…" Hiccup paused and stared at the demon. "You had your own arm severed." Akuhei shrugged.
"A price worth paying for this power." He then smirked at Hiccup. "This isn't the only thing I have been working on however." He held up the prosthetic that opened up and released a long black Katana that looked to have the heads of eight serpents with one behind the other forming the tsuba, a glowing red handle wrapped in black leather but the thing was the blade seemed to radiate power. "This katana was forged from a very rare metal that I infused the magic of your god made weapons into so it could hold the power of the Orochi." He smiled at the blade. "It was not an easy thing to forge but once it was complete I poured the power and spirit of the Orochi into it allowing me to harness the power of the beast myself." He punctuated the last part by thrusting the blade into the air releasing eight giant transparent dragon heads that had a black color with long necks that spiraled around each other as the heads rose into the sky and letting out a roar that could be heard for beyond the mountain before they were pulled back into the blade as Akuhei pointed it at Hiccup. "Would you like to surrender now or would you like to try your luck at a pointless fight that you have no chance of winning." Hiccup just glared and deactivated his ice claws before pulling out Pirus and Ventus.
"It's better to die on my own two feet fighting then to just give up and surrender." He smirked at me.
"So be it but do you honestly think you stand a chance against me alone." Hiccup smirked.
"Who says I'm alone?" He lowered Pirus and Ventus. "I've been talking with Pirus and Ventus for a while now and they told me of an ability that I've been saving for this moment." He threw the swords into the air and yelled. "PIRUS, DRAGON OF THE ETERNAL FLAME AND VENTUS, PHOENIX OF THE SHREDDING WINDS I SUMMON YOU FROM THE CONFINES OF YOUR BLADES TO COME FORTH AND BATTLE AT MY SIDE!" When he spoke the final words, the spinning blades glowed before Pirus was coated in the flames that then circled it as wind circled Ventus forming a ball of fire and a ball of wind before they burst open revealing both Pirus and Ventus in their true forms that then each let out a roar and screech as they came to land at Hiccups sides. "You may be powerful but I won't go down without a fight and I know Pirus and Ventus are the same." They Pirus roared andVentus shrieked in confirmation ready to take on Akuhei who just smiled shook his head.
"I remember a time when I was the exact same way." He then smirked. "But then I grew up and realized how meaningless it is."
Pirus and Ventus both just glared at him before letting out a fiery blast and a storm of slicing winds respectively, right at Akuhei who didn't even try to move out of the way of the blast as Hiccup watched Akuhei took the blast head on. When the blasts hit there was a large explosion as a cloud of smoke covered the entire balcony but Hiccup knew things weren't over as they were never that easy. When the smog cleared Akuhei was revealed to still be standing there with a smirk on his face showing the blast didn't hurt him in the least making Pirus and Ventus stared in shock as that blast would've left the enemy nothing but ashes. Akuhei looked up at them and smirked as he said.
"That didn't even tickle." He then raised his katana and said. "Let me show you true power."
With that said he swung his katana in a downward strike at them but as soon as it ended all eight heads burst out once more with the head splitting into four and twisting around each other before stabbing right into the bodies of Pirus and Ventus. For a few seconds time seemed to stand still for Hiccup as he watched his allies and friends let out a final roar and screech before Pirus was engulfed in flames and Ventus engulfed in a sphere of wind. Hiccup stared at the floating spheres before they burst open to reveal Pirus and Ventus in their sword forms right before the blades snapped as the ghostly forms of Pirus and Ventus formed roaring and screeching in pain before they were pulled back into the blades that fell to the ground in front of Hiccup. He dropped to his knees and picked up the broken blades looking down at them in his hands before his blood began boil as his anger reached heights that far surpassed any form of anger he'd ever felt. The only time his anger had come close to this level was in Arabia when Toothless was enslaved and transformed into a shadowfury by Madhimaran. (AN: Read chapter 52 to see his first time in Arabia and Toothless being enslaved while you can see the transformation in chapter 53.) The reason for this was this time his friends had not been enslaved but killed right before his very eyes. Hiccup looked up at Akuhei with tears of both sadness and anger in his eyes as he shook in silent rage as he took out his sickles and pointed them at Akuhei who simply smirked and gave a hand gesture to Hiccup telling him come at him.
Hiccup let out a battle cry as he charged at Akuhei with the sickles at the ready but Akuhei once again made no move to try and stop him until Hiccup was within range. Hiccup swung his sickles towards Akuhei who simply stepped back avoiding the blow but Hiccup didn't stop there and swung at him again and again Akuhei took three steps back with a smile to taunt his opponent. Hiccup realized he wasn't going to be able to strike him so easily so he loosened his grip on the handles and let the sickles dangle from the chains. Hiccup glared at Akuhei as he began spinning the sickles as he ignited them before whipping them towards Akuhei sending two balls of black flames at him but Akuhei just stood there smiling as the balls flew at him.
Hiccup didn't stop however and quickly sheathed his sickles and extended both his ice claws and the legs on his pack before launching multiple icicles and red crystals right behind the black flames. When the flames, icicles and crystals collided with Akuhei there a large boom before Hiccups vision of Akuhei was covered by smoke made from the collision. Hiccup stared at the smoke with his guard up knowing things might not be over yet since that Akuhei was powerful without the armor and with it there was no telling of the levels his power reached. Hiccup was proven right when Akuhei used Hiccups wings to fan the smoke away to reveal his smiling face as he said.
"Not bad Hiccup but if you think that would be enough to take me down then you're sadly mistaken." An evil smile then formed on his face. "Now it's my turn."
He then charged at Hiccup with such speed that Hiccup was barely able to pull the kappa shell down in front of him to try and block the blow which was a good thing as if the strike had contacted him he would've been killed if the distance he was thrown back was anything to go by. Hiccup glared at Akuhei as he spit up a bit of blood from the blow before picking himself up and took out his shadow sickles and held the weights by the chains while swinging them around at a speed that made them look like they were a blur as they caught black fire before he swung them at Akuhei from both sides hoping he wouldn't be able to dodge them. Sadly, instead of dodging them he held up his hands and caught the burning weights as if they were nothing. Hiccup stared at Akuhei who simply smirked right before he crushed them as if they were nothing leaving the chains to fall to the ground as Hiccup stared at them. Akuhei opened his hands to reveal the shards that used to be the weights of his shakles right before he dropped them to the ground as he said.
"Nice try!"
He then charged at Hiccup once more with such speed that Hiccup once again was barely able to drop the sickles and pull the kappa shell down in front of him to try block the blow but this time the shell shattered, sending Hiccup flying back through the railing and into the side of the mountain forming a large dent in the wall that Hiccups unconscious form was now imbedded in. Akuhei stared at Hiccups unconscious form and smirked as he shook his head and said.
"Fool should've realized that without his god made weapons he's nothing." He turned back to the ninja. "Collect the body and throw it into the room where his weapons are kept, we'll dispose of it later and he should be with the items he fought so hard to regain." They nodded as Akuhei walked back into the palace not noticing the pulsing glow the dragons' claw was giving off.
Hiccups POV:
Searing pain and burningwas all I could feel as darkness filled my vision with nothing more other than the sound of a crackling fire yet there was no light from a fire, only an endless abyss of darkness. It was then a floating blue flame formed in front of me before floating away to shine light on a figure sitting before me to reveal the fox who was staring at me. Seeing her I sighed and shook my head and said.
"Let me guess you're here to tell me I've failed in defeating Akuhei and because of that the world shall suffer." She shook her head.
"It's not over unless you allow it to be over."
"What do you mean?" I looked down. "Akuhei's destroyed Pirus and Ventus and along with that he's shown how powerful his weapon is and how the remaining weapons I have are useless." I dropped to my knees. "My armor and wings have been turned to his control while my weapons have been drained of their magic and been infused into material that he used to forge his sword." She walked up to me and looked at my face.
"There is still hope Hiccup Haddock."
"How can there still be hope?"
"Hiccup despite the massive blow you took you still live and as long as you still breath you can still fight."
"Not against him." I looked up at her. "He was powerful before the armor and now with the power he wields he might be unstoppable."
"If wish to even the playing field then I recommend you unleash the true power you've been given." I looked at the fox confused.
"Excuse me?" She chuckled.
"Hiccup, as you've traveled across this land you have gone up against many opponents and as you know with every victory the dragons' claw has become more powerful but what you didn't know was that was also accepting and merging with you."
"Accepting and merging with me?"
"It was both preparing you and itself for the battle when you'd need to fully unlock the power of the dragons' claw in order to save the world."
"But how am I supposed to do that or how I'm going to use the power?"
"When the time is right you shall know."
"Alright but there's still the matter of how powerful Akuhei is with that Katana."
"If you fear the power then take it back as the magic shall recognize its true master." I raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?"
"Hiccup the magic infused into the metal may have been corrupted but it's still magic that was made to obey you and as such the magic shall recognize you as it's true master allowing the dragons' claw to reclaim it for you."
"But even if I do take it back the power of the Orochi will be release and there's no telling what will happen plus I doubt the dragons' claw could hold that much power."
"Then simply use it to drain the katana and transfer the magic to its rightful place." I raised an eyebrow. "Akuhei may have drained your weapons but he did not destroy them, the same goes for the orb that he once used to hold the power of the Orochi."
"How would I transfer the magic though." She smiled.
"Why do you think I gave you the pack made from the skull of a jorogumo." I raised an eyebrow. "Hiccup with the empty shells that are your god made weapons in the pack, the dragons' claw shall know of your intentions, recognizing the magic as yours and transfer it back into the weapons while the power of the Orochi shall return to the orb." I nodded.
"Alright so once my weapons have their magic back I can use them against Akuhei?" She shook her head.
"I'm afraid not for the magic shall need time to fully return to its proper places and that shall take time." I nodded.
"Okay but if that's the case then what shall I fight Akuhei with."
"When the time comes you shall know."
"Okay then but one last question?" She raised an eyebrow. "How did you get here, I though Akuhei's fortress was protected from intruders." She smiled.
"It's called astral projection, right now my body is sitting outside the mountain while my astral form is able to enter and communicate with your unconscious form through your mind." I sighed and shook my head.
"When this is over you I need to talk to you about boundaries." She chuckled.
"Good luck Hiccup Haddock, you're going to need it in this fight."
Then a white light filled my vision making me shut my eyes only when I opened my eyes I was greeted by the sight of a stone ceiling with. I groaned as I slowly got up and held my chest that burned with pain most likely from the blow I took from Akuhei when he smashed the kappa shell. I sighed knowing that the kappa shell might be beyond repair as are the weights of my sickles and worst of all Pirus and Ventus were destroyed or to more accurate killed by Akuhei. I felt my blood boil at the memory as I clenched my fists while mentally swearing that I'd make him pay for their lives with his own before I slowly stood up and looked around at the room I was in. It was circle shaped room made of black stone with multiple black marble support beams that had red dragons wrapping around them up against the walls holding the ceiling up. I looked around and saw black stone pedestals with my weapons resting on them but I could tell there was something different about them. I sighed knowing the difference was that they were drained of their power and I knew the only way to return them to their former glory was to return their magic to them.
I shook my head in sadness as I began gathering up my weapons while remembering where I got them, what I did to deserve them and those who presented them to me. I swore I'd return my weapons to their former glory if it killed me in the process but it was as these thoughts went through my mind when the sight of what rested on the pedestal in the center caught my attention. Sitting on top of the pedestal was an orb the size of my head with eight serpent necks wrapping around it with the heads meeting at the top. It wasn't that hard to figure that this was the orb that could hold the power of the Orochi and one of the keys to finally ending this trip. I quickly placed it in my spider pack meaning I was almost ready to take Akuhei down and just needed to figure out how to embrace the power of the dragons' claw. I was once again pulled from my thoughts but this time it was by the sound of footsteps approaching the room, not knowing who it was I quickly hid behind a pillar next to the door to see who it was and hopefully get the drop on them if they're an enemy. Seconds passed before the door opened and a mystic in grey robes walked in, took one look at the pedestals before he gasped and said.
"The weapons, where are the weapons and where is Hiccup Haddock?" I silently walked up behind him and extended the legs on the pack as I said.
"Closer than you think." The mystic turned around as I reached out with the dragons' claw and lifted him up by the throat making him gasp for air. "Where's Akuhei?" He gave a defiant look.
"I shall tell you nothing." I tightened my grip as I made the legs close in on his face.
"Listen, it's been a long day for me and I just want to get this adventure over with and go home but if you insist on making this difficult I have more than a few methods to get you to talk and I'll have no problems in using all of them on you if you keep angering me." I then used one of the upper leg crystals to gently puncture his cheek. "Now where's Akuhei?"
Call me a psycho but I actually felt a sick shiver of pleasure run up my spine when I saw the fear in his eyes right before he told me where to find Akuhei. When he finished I used my spider pack to cocoon and leave him alone in the room while I went to find Akuhei and end this once and for all. I just hoped I'd be able to survive this battle and be able to go home to enjoy another peaceful time with my dragons, animals and family. I chuckled knowing when I get back thinks are going to be anything but peaceful since I was not going to have a moments peace when I get home as I doubt my parents or tribe would allow it.
Nobodies POV:
These thoughts continued to swim around in Hiccups head as he made his way down the long twisting halls to find the throne room where Akuhei could be found. Hiccu came to a set of large doors and pushed them open to find a large room with a marble pathway with pits of burning flames lighting the room. The path lead towards steps that lead up to the throne where Akuhei was sitting in the same armor while looking over a map but his attention turned to Hiccup as soon as the door opened. He stared at the young warrior as he made my way down the pathway and chuckled before saying.
"I have to say Hiccup I am impressed; most people would've given up at this point but you seem more determined than any other opponent I've ever gone up against."
"As you can guess I'm not most people Akuhei and it's time for you to return what you stole from me." He held up his katana.
"You mean the magic I used to create my katana?" Hiccu glared at him. "I'm sorry but I'm afraid that I won't be able to do that as I'm busy using it." He then smirked. "Since I'm in such a good mood though I'll end you're quest by giving you the power you desire so much."
He then stood up and charged at Hiccup with the same incredible speed as before with the katana pointed at his opponents gut but before it reached him he sidestepped out of the way barely dodging the blade. Before Akuhei could move however Hiccup immediately grabbed the blade of the katana with the dragons' claw hoping this was the way to drain it of its power. It was as Akuhei began to pull the katana back that something happened and what happened was both incredible and painful at the same time for Hiccup. At the time he could feel the power flowing through the dragons' claw in the form of the claw glowing as lightning shot out of the katana and into dragons' claw that glowed through the cracks. The energy then seemed to flow out of the horns on the shoulder before flowing into the mouth of the spider pack that began to glow through the eyes. While this was happening, for Hiccup it felt like Akuhei was ripping off his golden arm all over again but despite this immense pain he couldn't let go as it was like the claw was locked on the blade. Akuhei was facing a similar problem since he tried to pull the katana free but couldn't as the dragons' claw had a firm grip and when he tried to release one hand to strike Hiccup he discovered that it was stuck to the handle.
It was then the katana shattered causing a giant explosion sending Akuhei and the katana's handle flying back into the stairs that lead up to the throne but surprisingly Hiccup wasn't flung back. The light was so bright though he was forced to keep his eyes closed and didn't see the red flames emerging from the floor and surrounding him before they circled him. It was as the flames began to gain speed Hiccup opened his eyes to see what was happening only for a pillar of flames to burst from the ground beneath him and surrounded him in spiral tornado of burning red flames. As the flames circled Hiccup tendrils made from the flames wrapping around his body as knowledge flowed into his skull on what was happening to him and as it did he smiled since despite the pain he knew he had unlocked the power of the dragons' claw meaning Akuhei was in trouble.
As this happened to Hiccup Akuhei slowly got up from the crater that had formed when he impacted the stairs. He gently rubbed his head before looking down at what used to be his katana only to see what remained of it was the handle and the tsuba that fell right off. Akuhei shook with rage as he stood up and glared into pillar of flames that had blown away the smoke from the explosion as he growled and said.
"Hiccup Haddock, you shall pay for this." He tossed the handle aside and stood back up. "I've gone easy on you out of respect for your accomplishments and intended to give you a quick painless death but now you'll be facing my true power and your death shall be so excruciating you'll be begging for such mercy." As soon as he said this the whites of his eyes turned black, his irises turned yellow, his skin turned dark purple while becoming scales and his hair grew till it reached past his back as it turned magenta. "Let's see how long you last against me when I am at my true power." It was then the roar of a dragon echoed through the room before the pillar of flames burst from the inside sending a shockwave that threw back everything that wasn't nailed down and forcing Akuhei to cover his eyes as a deep voice echoed through the room saying.
"I rather like my odds demon."
Akuhei uncovered his eyes to see Hiccup Haddock standing there where the pillar of flames once was only now his entire body was covered in an armor that he'd only read about in stolen books about the dragons' forge. This armor was known as 'the armor of the raging dragons flame' and was one of the most dangerous armor in existence and has been said to hold the power of the dragons' forge itself. Akuhei didn't show it but inside he was actually afraid as that armor was something that might be able to go on par with the one he was currently wearing. Akuhei took a moment to examine the armor that Hiccup now wore and even had to admit that it was an impressive sight to behold and was no doubt a force to be reckoned with.
His left arm had been covered in what looked to be an exact mirror version of the dragon's claw, the cracks in it however along with those in the dragon's claw had turned from blue to lava orange, the torso of the armor was the same red as the dragons' claw with thinner cracks in it that took the shape of flames, glowing the same orang and in the center was a dragon curling in on itself as it gave off the orange glow, the legs were also covered by the same red metal armor but the knees had horns that curved up and were made of the same glowing material in the cracks of the armor. The thing that caught the most attention out of the entire suit of armor was the helmet that would make even the bravest men draw back in fear because under the helmet Hiccups eyes glowed and flickered as if they were made from burning flames. The mask that covered the lower part of the mouth resembled a snarling mouth full of fangs and a samurai helmet that covered his head with two curving horns sticking out of the sides, a single disk formed by a dragon curled up with the front part sticking out at the front where the head of the dragon looked out with two large wings sticking out from behind the head. All in all, the armor looked frightening and to add to its frightening look it seemed to just vibrate and send out waves of pure power that cracked the floor.
As fearsome as the armor looked Hiccup knew that this was truly nothing compared to its abilities that he now knew of thanks to the knowledge flowing into his head. Hiccup could feel the power coursing through his veins as if it were a fire rapidly spreading throughout a forest setting it all ablaze and he liked the feeling. He looked down at the hands and slowly turned them around giving him a full view of them before looking down at his armored body he experimentally moved his limbs around to test the armors flexibility and found himself able to move with no resistance. As for the spider pack that was on his back when the armor formed it seemed to have merged with the armor with the skull and legs turning the same red as the armor, the crystals turning into the glowing orange as the material in the cracks, the legs that were used to hold the pack on had fully sunk in and merged with the torso of the armor. Along with this the boots had turned from leather to the same red metal, the rotating blades were now the same glowing crystal as were the once silver engravings along with the toes and bottoms but they'd also become a part of the armor. As for the rings that formed the ice claws they too had merged with the armor with the only proof they were there being how they were now a glowing orange crystal chains connecting the fingers. The appearances weren't the only thing to change though as they had become much more powerful thanks to the dragons' claw and with the power came a major advantage in the coming battle. Akuhei stared at Hiccup in this new form and did his best to mask his fear behind an arrogant smirk as he said.
"Do you honestly think some new armor will save you from my wrath?" Hearing this Hiccup was brought out of his thoughts and turned to Akuhei with a smile beneath his mask.
"I like my chances demon." He cracked his knuckles before he got into his battle stance. "Let's get this over with fast Akuhei as I'd like to get back to my island in time for dinner." Akuhei glared.
"Well I'm afraid you're going to be late for dinner."
As soon as he said this a black metal helmet with two rows of six horns made of dark bronze on the top, a muzzle that looked like the teeth of a snapper trap that broke in the middle, a flat disk over each ear and what looked like a beak on the forehead that went down between the eyes which were the only visible part of his face. When the helmet was fully formed on Akuhei's head he charged at Hiccup with the same incredible speed with his left fist raised but as soon as he reached Hiccup he swung it towards his head. To Hiccup however this all seemed to happen at a normal speed and knowing the strength this armor provided him he held his hand left hand up and caught Akuhei's fist when it was a foot from his head only for the hand to be pushed a few inches back by the force of the blow. Akuhei stared in shock as Hiccup smirked beneath his helmet and said.
"Like I said, I like my chances demon."
He then lifted his right foot and kicked Akuhei's in the gut showing the power his boots had gained from the armor when five oxen made of red flames burst from Akuhei's back and dragged him right into the wall that crumbled on impact. Akuhei slowly got up glaring at Hiccup as Hiccup activated the pack and pointed the legs at Akuhei before firing four crystals at the crumbling wall above him. As the crystals flew they opened up to take on the form of spiders that imbedded themselves into the walls by their legs giving a single orange glow before exploding and making a section of the wall come down on Akuhei as he was about to get up. When the rubble stopped piling on him Akuhei was completely buried but Hiccup didn't stop there as he knew it was going to take more than that to stop Akuhei but he could at least weaken him. When the rubble stopped he held his pointed his hands towards the rubble as the ice claws formed and showed themselves to be the same in appearance except they now had a bright light blue glow within them. Hiccup immediately began launching multiple icicles that were ignited with a light blue flame that wasn't hot but so cold it burned until the icicles imbedded themselves in the rubble before the areas around them began freezing over with ice that was lit with the same blue flame. Hiccup kept pelting the rubble until it was completely frozen solid and burning with the blue flames before Hiccup lowered his claws and collapsed them while staring at the frozen rubble knowing it wasn't over yet as with that armor on Akuhei couldn't be beaten so easily. Hiccup was proven right when a few seconds later the ice began to crack and then both it and the pile of rubble burst open to reveal a very angry Akuhei standing there and glaring at Hiccup as he said.
"Did you honestly think that would stop me?"
"No, I just wanted to test the improvements my weapons got when my armor was unlocked." He glared before spreading out Hiccups stolen wings.
"Perhaps you'd like to see the improvements I've given your wings."
Hiccup raised an eyebrow before Akuhei flapped the wings towards him launching ten razor sharp feathers at him catching Hiccup off guard. Hiccup was barely able to avoid the feathers from striking him with the final one passing inches from his face that would've killed him if his reflexes weren't so well developed allowing him to dodge the feathers. Hiccup turned his head to watch the final feather fly into the wall behind him but as he turned around back to face Akuhei who grabbed him by the neck and threw him through the wall where he was originally thrown only he missed the hole and straight through the solid wall five feet away from it. Thanks to the armor though Hiccup didn't feel a thing besides a simple jolt when he struck the wall as he went flying into the hall on the other side of the wall. When Hiccup came to land he slid across the floor of the hall and through the door at the end before he finally stopped in the middle of the room. Hiccup stood up and looked around to find himself surrounded by large shelves full of books and scrolls, at the end of the room stood three steps leading to a half circle platform built into the wall where a black marble desk stood with a chair behind it. Hiccup was brought out of his thoughts when Akuhei's voice echoed through the room from behind him saying.
"Impressive isn't it?" Hiccup turned around to face Akuhei who was looking around at the shelves. "I've spent the majority of my life putting this collection of knowledge together and even more time mastering the spells that are held within these shelves." Akuhei turned to Hiccup. "What you are looking at is a mortal life time of work all to help me prepare to fulfill my destiny and take my place as ruler of this world." Hiccup glared at him.
"Your destiny is never going to be fulfilled then as I won't let you destroy this world and enslave its people."
As soon as he said this Hiccup lunged at Akuhei and delivered a solid punch to his gut sending him flying back into one of the pillars that held up the ceiling. Hiccup then charged at Akuhei ready to deliver another punch with his left fist but Akuhei was able to get up and dodge the punch before he grabbed Hiccup by his outstretched hand and lifted him up in front by it so he was dangling from his arm. He raised his fist to punch Hiccup but before he could bring it down Hiccup raised his feet up and delivered a firm kick into Akuhei's chest before five oxen once again burst from his back and carried him back into the bookshelves slamming through them and causing them to topple over with those behind it following suit while their contents caught fire. When Akuhei slammed into the back wall he looked around at his now burning library in horror as he screamed.
"NO!" His attention then turned to Hiccup who stared at him in defiance. "YOU SHALL PAY FOR THIS HICCUP HADDOCK!"
He then charged at Hiccup at twice the speed he ran before so Hiccup didn't have the chance to dodge the blow right to his head sending him flying back but he recovered and landed in a crouch. He stared at Akuhei and growled before lunging at him with his ice claws forming as brought them down on Akuhei in a downward slash but Akuhei held up the prosthetic blocking the strike and tried to deliver a kick into Hiccups gut but Hiccup was quicker and pulled back dodging the blow. He quickly grabbed Akuhei's leg and lifted it up flipping him over and making him land on his back. Hiccup took this opportunity to leap onto Akuhei and pin him to the ground before he began punching his face as hard as he could slamming Akuhei's head into the ground with every strike. As Hiccup pulled his fist back to ready another blow Akuhei quickly slammed his palm into Hiccup sending him flying off him and into the wall. Akuheis stood up and looked at Hiccup glaring as his helmet collapsed before he held his arms out and said.
"How about Hiccup?" He pointed at his head. "We take off the helmets and fight face to face like true warriors." Hiccups helmet folded back to reveal his smiling face.
"Gladly."
With faces now out in the open and clear to the world Hiccup and Akuhei once again charged at each other to fight each other to bring an end to this battle once and for all. When they were within reach of each other they each threw a punch at each other with their fists meeting each other sending a shockwave throughout the room. Akuhei quickly used his free hand to grab Hiccup by the neck and lift him up before he began squeezing it, getting ready to snap it as Hiccup struggled for breath. Hiccup quickly activated the top left leg of the spider pack and pointed it at Akuhei's face while launching a spider crystal at it that latched onto Akuhei's head giving a feint glow before exploding making Akuhei drop him and stumble back temporarily blinded. Hiccup took a moment to catch his breath on his knees as he muttered.
"We're too evenly matched." He slowly stood up. "How am I supposed to beat him." It was then the words of the fox's voice echo through his head like a whisper saying.
"The magic shall recognize you as it's true master."
Hiccup didn't know where the voice came from but it was at that moment that Hiccup knew how to defeat Akuhei once and for all. With the knowledge of how to end this he charged at Akuhei with his left fist raised but Akuhei saw him running at him and dodged out of the way of the strike as he raised his stolen prosthetic fist and swung it towards Hiccup making him smirk as that was what he wanted. Hiccup raised the dragons' claw catching the fist while smiling and getting a tight grip on it before Akuhei tried to pull it free however he never got the chance. The dragons' claw began vibrating as the prosthetic on Akuhei began to crack up with gold light shining through the cracks as Akuhei roared in pain and asked.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
"Taking back what you stole but don't worry, I'm a nice guy so I'll tell you what." Hiccup placed his free hand on Akuhei's trapped hand as the eyes on the spider pack glowed as what looked like bolts of lightning danced around the pack while golden cracks appeared around Akuhei's armor. "You wanted the power of the orochi" The bolts moved up the arm and began dancing between the horns on his armor's shoulders. "you can have it." As soon as the words left his mouth the bolts traveled down his arms and into Akuhei's trapped arm as Akuhei screamed in pain.
"TOO MUCH POWER!" Hiccup looked up at his face as golden cracks formed around it.
"TOO BAD BECAUSE YOU WANTED IT AND NOW YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT!"
Akuhei just screamed in pain as the lightning continued to feed into him before he let out one final scream as he and the armor exploded throwing Hiccup back into the wall along with multiple pieces of rubble. When the smoke cleared there was a fifteen-foot-wide crater that was ten feet deep, where Akuhei once stood. Laying up against the wall unconscious was none other then Hiccup Haddock with blood leaking out from his closed left eye but gripped in the dragons' claw was none other than Hiccups golden prosthetic returned to its former glory before Akuhei used his dark magic to corrupt it. It was then the prosthetic seemed to melt and seep onto the dragons claw slowly making its way up until it completely covered the entire prosthetic before it seemed to be absorbed into the dragons' claw. When the glow died Hiccup was still wearing the dragons' claw as if nothing happened but the dragons' claw had gained a new ability that would without a doubt would be helpful in the future as he would discover when he awakens. It was then the fox walked into the room and looked around at the destruction before her eyes landed on Hiccup and she smiled as she began walking towards him. Before she could reach him however five puffs of different colored smoke appeared surrounding Hiccup to reveal the five ninja that served as Akuhei's guard with the ninja of the metal blade at the front. They all had their weapons at the ready but they weren't pointed at Hiccup but at the fox who stopped walking and looked at them calmly and said.
"Do not worry, I have no intention of bringing harm to him." They stared at her for a few seconds before lowering their weapons and stepping aside allowing the fox to walk up to Hiccup but their eyes never left the fox as she stared at Hiccup. "You did very well Hiccup and do not worry as I shall not allow you to die here." As soon as she said that she raised her tail which split into nine separate tails with a glowing ball of blue fire between the two middle ones. "Let's begin fixing you up." With that said she got to work on healing Hiccup the best she could with time slowly passing by.

Also, to atomicsub927, this is a different kind of sickle to the ones that represent communism which just for the record I don't believe in but I do believe that everyone has the right to live their lives the way they want to and if communism is the way they want to do it then okay. Have a nice day all.
