"Hey, Alicia," Ricardo greets her, wrapping an arm around her waist and drawing her close.
Alicia hums and looks up as Ricardo kisses her shoulder. "Hey, what's up?" she wonders, turning slowly in his arms and looping her arms around his neck. "You look pleased."
"I am," he says. "We have official dates for the school's first championship tournament. "Do you want to see the finished product?"
Alicia lights up. "The title? Of course I do! Gimme, gimme." She makes grabby fingers until he taps a couple keys on her laptop and brings up the file documenting their tournament brackets. "Oh wow," she says, peering down at the title belt taking up the bottom portion of the graphic. "That looks amazing."
"All thanks to you," he tells her, kissing her again. "Couldn't have gotten this far without you."
"Oh, I'm sure that's an over exaggeration," she clucks playfully at him, running her fingers through his hair. "The school was all your success, all you needed was a little support. I was more than pleased to give that to you."
"Well, yeah, but still. I owe you." He squeezes her. "You didn't have to move up here with me, but you did. Despite all the drama in my life, you stayed by my side, you supported me through some of the hardest times I've ever had to live through. You've given me three amazing children, you've made this house a home. I will never stop being in awe of you."
Alicia smiles at him. "You know I feel the same, right? You are incredible to me, and an inspiration. After everything you've gone through, during your time in WWE, and the struggles you had after it. I'm so glad you're here with me, right now, after it all. I think about even the smallest change, and how different things could be, and..." She sighs, shaking her head. "I'm glad we're here right now."
He smiles sadly at her. "I do too sometimes. But not often, because this is reality, and that's all the matters. Us, the kids, Sofia."
Alicia nods, carding her fingers through Ricardo's hair once more, down his cheek to his jaw. Cups his face and kisses him. "Agreed," she breathes before he lifts her up onto the counter and settles between her legs, kissing her more attentively. "I love you," she murmurs against his mouth.
"I love you too," he sighs, staring up at her for a moment. "Bedroom?"
"Yes please," she says, giggling as he helps her down and they quietly rush down the hall.
