Chapter 184

Hiccups POV:

I don't know how much time has passed since Olathe left but I knew it had to have at least been a day and every few hours some more orc guards come in and blow that powder into my face keeping me weak. During the few times I did try to break free I learnt that it was pointless since the chains had runes carved into them making sure they couldn't be broken so easily without magic. During one of the visits I was able to ask the orcs how they came to be in the archipelago and how they were able to remove my belongings from me but all I got was a growl and grunt before he left. Soon after Olathe came in to answer my questions and I learnt that they were once under the command of a dark warlock in Britain that was defeated by the ruling king of that time but a large group of their forces escaped and eventually ended up in the forest of the Boiling Cove tribes island. They tried to take over but their forces that had been weakened from their previous battles and long days on the ship stood no chance and were driven underground where they survived on roots, burrowing animals and their own dead while slowly rebuilding their ranks and getting stronger.

As for how they were able to get my belongings off me, they used a bit of old rune magic that they stole from their former master's lair which up until this point they believed to be useless. Apparently, it could be used to teleport troops and supplies when channelled by having powerful magic users adding their own power to it but the orcs barely had any magic at all and those that did use it would be out for a month. With what little magic they have they're able to teleport small things including their troops, but the weapons, armour and clothing would be left behind which is how they got my gear off me. They did it by not removing my gear from my body but by removing my body from my gear so they wouldn't activate any of the defences my gear had to make sure it couldn't be taken off me. I'd also tried calling Amr and Adal but no such luck since from what I can tell this cell is soundproof

Now here I was, chained up in a cell and trying to think of a way for me to get out of here but so far it seemed impossible since with my prosthetic shackled in such a way with it wrapped up from my hand to my elbow I couldn't access my weapons. Channelling the crystals was no help either since the chains wouldn't sizzle under the acid, would just turn blue when I tried freezing them and they wouldn't even heat up under either flames or magma. All my attempts to break free ended in failure but I was not going to give up since I knew if I gave up then I wouldn't be able to warn the people about the orcs and countless people would suffer because I failed to help them. I looked down at the ground and sighed.

"How am I going to get out of here?" I looked up to the ceiling. "I'd love nothing more than to get out of here and be free as a bird again." It was then my eyes widened as the solution hit me and I realised I couldn't escape alone but I could with some help before I closed my eyes and began focusing.

Back in the village

Nobodies POV:

It's been three days since Hiccup went into the caverns and anyone who didn't notice the effect it was having on Astrid; Blanca and the dragons would have to be a fool. The girls were going nuts with worry with Blanca constantly walking around the entrance to the cave where Hiccup entered, Astrid took to swinging her axe around in the same place and the dragons just lay around the entrance watching the entrance. It was then one of the Scouters Hiccup left outside to watch over the girls flew down on the snow-covered ground and began hopping around in the snow getting the attention of the girls. When the Scouter saw it had their attention it began hopping around in the snow denting it and after doing a double take the girls were able to see it was making letters in the snow to write something before Blanca kneeled down and read.

"Captured by orcs, unable to use weapons or arm to escape, need help!" Her eyes got wider with every word she read until she turned to Astrid with her head spinning so fast that if she were human it would've snapped. "Hiccups in trouble and needs our help."

"What's going on?"

"He's been captured by orcs." Astrid gripped her axe handle tightly.

"If it's orcs then it means trouble, Hiccup told me about them but how did they get here."

"I do not know but we must save him." Before Blanca could approach the blocked entrance however Astrid grabbed her arm.

"Blanca, we need to think things through since they must have a few tricks if they were able to capture Hiccup and even more if they could hold him." She turned to the Scouter. "Hiccup, if you're seeing this then tell us what we'll be up against." The Scouter hopped out of her hands and began hopping around in the snow again writing out. 'rune magic, an army at the ready, skilled warrior queen, sentries patrolling tunnels and other things I am unaware of.' "If that's what's waiting for us, we should try to stay out of sight." Blanca nodded.

"Stealth would be the best tactic in order to save Hiccup." Astrid nodded.

"We'll also need weapons like knives and something to take them down from long distance." She reached to her belt. "I've got a dagger but you'll have to get something from the armoury." Blanca just shook her head and reached into her hair before pulling out her jade hairpin.

"I haven't used this in a long time, but it will aid us in our fight and can help take our enemies down at long range." Astrid remembered the illusion Hiccup showed everyone when he first brought Blanca back and knew she was right, so she nodded.

"Are you sure Blanca, it might erase your memories again or turn you into that giant python." Blanca stared down at the hairpin in fear before a look of determination came onto her face as she gripped it tightly. "Hiccup was ready to give up his humanity for me and I am ready to give up my memory for him alongside my life." Astrid smiled.

"And I'm willing to do the same." She turned to the blocked off wall. "Before we do anything though we need to figure how we're going to get through the wall." It was then Toothless walked up to them and croon making the girls smile at him sadly. "Sorry Toothless, I admit your blasts are strong, but I don't think they're strong enough to blast through solid rock."

He growled and turned to the other dragons and gestured to the wall with his head while growling and roaring before all the ice spitting dragons lined up in front of the wall. They all then began blasting the wall freezing it as the girls stared in shock believing this would only make getting into the caves more difficult. Before the girls could do anything though Toothless began glowing blue, going into full alpha mode shocking the girls as he let out a blast that shattered not only the ice but the wall itself. The girls stared for a moment before they smiled as Astrid said.

"Let's go save that idiot you call a husband." She smiled and made their way towards the cave with the dragons following but before they entered Astrid turned back to the dragons. "You all have to stay out here, if the orcs begin to come out, you'll need to hold them back and if they begin to overrun you cause an avalanche to block the entrance." Toothless walked up and crooned as Stormfly squawked before Astrid pet her dragon while Blanca rubbed Toothless' head and said.

"We know you all wish to join us on our mission, but should the orcs escape countless lives will be lost." It was then a voice from behind them asked.

"Orcs?" They all turned to see chief Fen walking towards them with a group of men. "What in the name of Odin is an orc and what was that explosion?" Astrid answered

"Orcs are bad news and if they're released then chances are the entire world is in trouble and as for the explosion, that was Toothless letting loose a plasma blast to open up the entrance." He raised an eyebrow and opened his mouth to speak but Astrid continued with. "The orcs captured Hiccup and he needs our help or else there'll be big trouble."

"I'll put together a team of our finest warriors to help rescue him." Blanca quickly replied.

"NO!" He turned to her. "It is better if it is only Astrid and I who go in as we shall be able to draw less attention than a large group and you will need to set up your forces here to drive the orcs back into the cave with the dragons should they begin coming out." He nodded.

"Be careful down their ladies, there's no telling what creatures and horrors are down there since according to legend the beasts also had large creatures that they unleashed upon the people." Astrid and Blanca nodded before they made their way into the darkness of the cave with their weapons in hand ready to kill any creature that gets in the way of their goal of saving the man they love.

Ten minutes later

Astrid and Blanca were making their way down the tunnels with Astrids axe on her back and Blanca's hair pin in her hair as they searched for Hiccup but so far had come up with nothing, not even encountering any enemy forces. Now some might think that the lack of enemy forces was a good thing but for the girls it did nothing to sooth their worries since they knew that there are forces down here that were bad news if they were found by any guards. It was then as they were making their way towards a corner that three orcs armed with a spear walked around so they quickly pushed themselves against the walls opposite to each other hiding behind some parts that were sticking out allowing them to avoid detection. As the one orc passed them two more followed as Astrid signalled Blanca to take the two at the front out while she handled the one at the back.

Blanca nodded as Astrid snuck up on the one that was following the two at the front while bringing out her dagger before she quickly grabbed the orcs shoulder pulling it back and stabbing her blade right through its neck making it let out a gurgled sound drawing the attention of the other two. They turned around to see what was going on but when they saw what had happened to their comrade Blanca rushed up behind them and snatched their spears from their hands. Before they could react by even let out a roar to alert their comrades or even turn around Blanca pulled the spears back and stabbed them into the chests of the orcs killing them instantly and avoiding detection. The girls pushed the dead bodies of the orcs against the walls to avoid them being spotted easily and letting the other orcs know there were intruders in their tunnels.

They continued down their tunnels but now Astrid kept her dagger out and Blanca kept her magic, ready to be brought out to kill any orc she saw. They kept their guard up as they went down the various paths that were made into the floors of the dark tunnels occasionally coming across small orc patrols with a minimum of three orcs and a maximum of five. The girls were always quick to dispatch them before they could react and do it as silently as they could to avoid alerting any other nearby orcs to their presence. Now they were hiding behind a corner looking at three orcs armed with swords, that were guarding a metal door at the end of the one tunnel where one orc had just entered.

The girls knew they needed to get rid of them before they could get into the room, they were guarding which is where they knew Hiccup was being held if the feeling in Blanca's wedding ring was anything to go by. Astrid realised the best way to handle these guys is divide and conquer so she picked up a small stone and tossed it against the wall across from them making a sound that attracted the attention of the guards. The one who was standing in the middle walked down the hall to see what the sound was as Astrid readied her dagger while Blanca leapt onto the upper edge that ran around the corner and down the tunnel. The one orc walked around the corner with its sword at the ready as it came around the corner not noticing Astrid who had pressed herself against the wall with her dagger in hand. The orc turned around just as Astrid stepped out from against the wall but before it could react, she grabbed his shoulder and stabbed her dagger into its head from beneath the chin killing it instantly. She caught the dead body avoiding it making the loud sound it would've made if it hit the ground and gently lay the dead body against the wall.

While Astrid handled the one orc Blanca ran down the edge towards the door and thanks to the orcs constantly living in the darkness their eyesight was not that great, so they didn't see her coming. When she was right in front of them, she jumped down quickly but before they had the chance to react, she sliced at their throats with her magic killing them both by slitting their throats from the inside. She caught their bodies before they fell avoiding the chance of alerting the orc that was in the room to her presence and gently lowered it to the ground as Astrid began making her way down the hall. Blanca smiled at Astrid who smiled back until the door opened from behind Blanca who turned back to see the orc walk out but stop when it noticed Blanca who froze up in shock.

Before either the orc or Blanca could react though Astrid quickly threw the dagger in her hand right at the orc nailing it right in the skull while missing Blanca's head by less than the length of her pinkie. Astrid mentally thanked Hiccups ninja wind who wielded kunai for all his lessons in knife throwing since without that training, she doubted she could've made that throw. Blanca smiled at Astrid in thanks as Astrid made her way over to Blanca smiling before she kneeled down over the orcs dead body and pulled her dagger free from the orcs skull. She stood back up and turned to Blanca and said.

"We better get Hiccup and get out of here before more orcs come."

"You're right." She looked back down the hall. "There might be more already on the way."

Astrid nodded before they pushed the door open and were shocked by the sight that greeted them since it was not something they'd seen before. Hiccup was standing in the middle of the room with his arms being held up by the shackles that held his hands while Hiccup himself just stood there looking so weak. He slowly raised his head to see who had entered his cell and his eyes widened at the sight of the girls who stood there staring at him in shock. A smile slowly formed on his face before he croaked out.

"I knew you girls would find me." They both ran in as Astrid asked.

"Hiccup, are you alright?"

"They breathed some weird powder into my face, and it leaves me so weak my legs can't even support my own weight." Blanca lifted his head using her hands and gently caressed his cheeks with her thumbs.

"You look so helpless like this." Hiccup looked down.

"I'm sorry you both had to see me like this, but the orcs caught me by surprise." Astrid then said.

"We'll go over that later, for now let's get these chains off you." Blanca let go of Hiccups face and examined the chains holding him before she said.

"These definitely have magic of some kind in them and it is making them far stronger than they should be."

"Can you break them?" Blanca took off her hairpin.

"If I drain the magic from the chains they should shatter." Hiccup looked up at her in fear.

"But Blanca, that could erase your memories again." She smiled and looked up at Hiccup.

"You were willing to give up your life to protect me from the general and my former master but unlike your life my memories can be returned."

With that said she held her hairpin in the palm of her hand and began draining the magic from the chains like she had from the Taoist she fought so long ago. For a few seconds the room was lit by the jade green light of Blanca's magic draining the magic from the chains until the light died and the chains turned to dust. As soon as his arms were released Hiccup fell forward but Astrid and Blanca caught him before he could hit the ground and gently lifted him up under his arms. As they began to make their way towards the caves exit Astrid said.

"Let's get out of this place." Hiccup looked at her.

"We can't leave yet; the orcs stole my gear and if they're able to get them working for them somehow then we're in trouble." The girls gasped.

"Do you know where they are?" Hiccup nodded.

"I can sense where Pirus and Ventus are."

"Just tell us which way to go." Hiccup nodded and began directing them.

10 minutes later

The girls had been carrying Hiccup for ten minutes while following Hiccups directions encountering a few orcs, but they were easily dispatched by the girls before Hiccup could do anything. Now they were making their way to a metal door that surprisingly wasn't guarded by any orcs but when they pushed the door open, they found out why. Hiccups belongings were at the back of the room on four separate pedestals made of metal and around the room were the dead bodies of multiple orcs with them being burned, strangled, slammed into the wall or stabbed. Hiccup smiled seeing this knowing that his gears defences were activated with his grootslang coat and third arm sash strangling them, his boots lighting them up, his leather chest plate throwing them back into the wall or his spiderpack using its legs to stab them. Hiccup smiled as he said.

"Looks like they tried to use my items and faced the consequences." The girls nodded before helping him get his gear back on with Hiccup smiling when it was all back on. "It's good to have my gear back on, I feel naked without it." Astrid blushed at the thought before Blanca said.

"It is best we leave now before the orcs discover all the dead bodies we have left." Hiccup shook his head.

"We can't leave yet." The girls looked at Hiccup as if he were mad before Astrid asked.

"Why not?" Hiccup turned to her. "Hiccup we have to get out of here before things get worse."

"And if we leave now then things will be way worse for the entire world." They looked at him in confusion as Blanca asked.

"What do you mean?"

"The orcs have been digging tunnels to the surface and intend to invade the island before going after the others with their forces while using the people for meat." The girls were horrified, and it showed on their faces before their looks of horror turned to ones of determination before Astrid asked.

"What can we do?"

"We need to find the tunnels leading to the exits they've been digging and from there I'll take care of the rest." Blanca then said.

"We did see some orcs that were covered in dirt and carrying digging tools heading down one of the tunnels." Hiccup smiled.

"They're definitely the ones digging their way out of this underground hell." A smile formed on his face. "Fortunately, I have a way to bring an end to their escape plan." Astrid then said.

"The problem is there were more than a few orcs guarding the way into those tunnels." Hiccup smiled as he released his golden arrow allowing it to hover in front of him while releasing the four legs.

"Now that I have my gear back and a bit of my strength as well, I should be able to help out a bit."

Before they could reply the doors were pushed open to reveal three orcs holding swords but before any of them could make a single noise Hiccup launched a crystal from each into the skulls of the two orcs on either side of the middle one. As the first two fell Hiccups golden arrow flew from its place and sped at the remaining orc going right through its neck before circling around going through its chest towards Hiccup who smiled when it stopped in front of his head. The girls watched in shock as the orc fell to the ground. Dead before turning to Hiccup who smiled as he said.

"Let's go." The girls nodded and lead him out of the room over the dead bodies.

20 minutes later

It's been twenty minutes since Hiccup got his gear back and, in that time, they'd faced more than just a few orcs, but they were quickly dispatched before they could sound an alarm alerting other orcs. Now they were standing in front of the entrances to four separate tunnels after Hiccup shot a single crystal from his spiderpack into the back of the heads of six orcs who were making their way down the tunnels with digging tools. It was then Astrid turned to him and asked.

"So, what's the plan?" Hiccup smiled as his spider pack legs pulled back into his coat and pulled out with each holding a single cylindrical canister.

"Now we release the beetles." As soon as he said that his spiderpack pulled out the pipes the boom beetle automatons were holding onto and sent them all flying down the caves with Hiccup controlling them. "Controlling this many automatons at once takes a lot of focus so I need to concentrate." The girls nodded as Astrid took out her axe.

"We'll watch your back." With that the girls got into position while Hiccup sat down cross legged and focused on placing all the boom beetles in strategic points.

Half an hour later

It's been half an hour since Hiccup and the girls came to the tunnel entrance and in that time things had been quiet with very few orcs coming by while Hiccup set up the boom beetles against the top of the support beams in the tunnels. It was then Hiccup opened his eyes smiling before turning to the girls just as Astrid pulled her axe out of the head of another orc while Blanca pulled her hairpin from the neck of one, she just killed. Hiccup slowly stood up with a little difficulty with the powder still in his system with the girls helping him up as Blanca asked.

"Are all the beetles in place?" Hiccup nodded.

"They're all set and ready to blow." Astrid smiled.

"Then we better get going before the orcs find out we're here." Hiccup and Blanca nodded before the girls helped him up and began leading him out of the place.

Ten minutes later

Hiccup and the girls smiled as they made their way through the tunnels towards the tunnels that would lead to the exit of the caves so they could set off the boom beetles to keep the orcs busy. They were presently making their way through a large cavern that was being supported by giant stone pillars but before they could get through it the sound of a roar echoed through the entire cavern. They all looked up at the edge where the roar came from only to see a single orc looking down at them from its place as it threw a leather bag down at them. Hiccup pushed the girls back and shot one of his rotating blades at the bag that split it in two before it flew right into the chest of the orc that threw the bag to begin with making it roar in pain before falling from the edge. Nobody noticed the orc though as when the bag split open powder flew out of it and right into Hiccups face making him cough and collapse to the ground as the powder was the same powder that was used to keep him in his cell. Blanca and Astrid helped him back up as he said.

"Damn orcs, that powder is what they used to keep me weak in that cell." It was then the sound of drums began echoing through the caves with the light of torches shining through tunnels. "They're coming." Hiccup looked at the girls. "We've got to get out of here." They nodded but when they turned to the tunnel the light of torches shone down there. "Girls get ready for a fight." Hiccup did his best to make them let go as he released his golden arrow. "I'll do everything I can to help." The girls looked at him as if he were crazy before Blanca shook her head.

"No Hiccup, you're too weak."

"But there are too many orcs and I can't let anything happen to either of you." Astrid turned to him.

"You're always the one protecting us and others, now it's our turn to protect you Hiccup." Hiccup looked at her and smiled.

"You have that same fire in your eyes that made me first begin to fall for you." She just smiled at him. "Get me to the wall and I'll use my spider pack to get onto an edge where I'll at least be able to help provide some cover for you all from above." The girls nodded and carried him over to the wall before he released the legs from his spiderpack and turned him around to face them as one leg reached into his coat and pulled out five bags that it handed to the girls. "These should at least even out the odds a bit." Astrid reached into the bag and pulled out a single fang.

"Dragon teeth?"

"Damen's teeth." She raised an eyebrow. "Sow them like you would seeds and see what grows." The girls nodded. "Be careful girls, I can't imagine my life without either of you in it."

They smiled at him as the spider pack carried him up and turned around to face the coming forces that swarmed out of the tunnels heading right for them. The girls each reached into the bags Hiccup gave them and pulled out a handful of dragon teeth before throwing them onto the ground as if they were seeds. They watched in shock and amazement as the teeth sunk into the ground before skeletons armed with weapons burst from the ground and began climbing out of the dirt. The skeletons let out a shriek when they were fully out and charged at the orcs with their weapons raised up high before they attacked the orcs who temporarily stopped at the sight of their new enemies. The girls realised how badly outnumbered they were, even with the skeleton warriors who helping them, so they quickly reached into the bags and began throwing more teeth onto the ground crating more skeleton warriors that immediately attacked the orcs.

When the bags were emptied of all the teeth Astrid took out her axe and Blanca turned into her half snake form ready to take on the orcs that had charged into the cavern. In a few seconds the sound of battle filled the cavern as the orcs fought against the skeletons and the girls who were proving to be far superior warriors. Astrid ducked beneath the swing of an orcs sword before swinging her axe at it cutting its head off while turning around and swinging it down on another orc imbedding her axe into its skull. Another orc holding a stone axe came at her hoping to strike her down while her axe was unable to be used but she pulled out her dagger and stabbed it into the orc's chest. For a moment it just stood there with Astrid holding onto the daggers handle before she twisted it making the orc grunt in pain until she pulled it out and it fell to the ground dead.

She quickly pulled her axe free of the dead orcs' skull and swung it to the side slamming it into the chest of another orc that was running past her. The orc fell to the ground but before it could get back up Astrid slammed her axe down on its neck severing the head from its body but before she stood back up she picked up the stone axe it wielded and threw it at the back of another orcs head. She turned around and held up the blade of her axe to block the sword of another orc before slamming her knee in between its legs making the orc drop its sword out of pain and drop to its knees before Astrid used her axe to remove its head.

Astrid wasn't the only one fighting hard against the orcs as Blanca was killing them left and right using her snake tail mixed with her combat skills and magic. Blanca slammed the blade on the end of her tail into the chest of one orc that was fighting against one of the skeletons before she flung the body at two orcs who were charging at her from the side and quickly pulled her tail back tripping three orcs. She quickly turned around and thrust her arm forward towards another orc that was charging at her letting out a blast of her magic throwing it back into three other orcs. She grabbed the spear in the hand of another orc that was doing battle with a skeleton drawing its attention of the orc giving the skeleton the chance to stab it in the gut killing it and making it let go of the spear. She quickly lifted the spear up and threw it hard at a nearby orc resulting in the spear going right through its body until only the end of the spear remained inside while the other end impaled two more orcs that were behind it.

Blanca grabbed another orc with her tail and threw it towards the entrance tunnel onto a large group of orcs that were rushing in but the others just kept charging in trampling their comrades. Blanca ignored this and continued fighting the orcs that kept charging at her before she slithered up to Astrid's side blasting an orc that was coming at her from behind to the side into another orc. Astrid turned around and gave her a nod of thanks before she pushed Blanca aside to stab her axe into the chest of an orc that was coming at her from behind. Blanca was quick to finish it off using her magic to slash its throat causing the orc to collapse to the ground dead as another orc came at them but a skeleton holding a sword tackled it from the side as the girls split up again to kill more orcs.

While the girls fought the orcs down on the ground level up close and personal Hiccup did his best to help them from above on the edge, he had willed his spiderpack to put him on. He used his spiderpack to fire the crystals down at the orcs nailing them in the heads killing them allowing the skeletons or the girls to move onto the next opponent. It was then the sound of growling from below him and looked to see a small group of six orcs climbing up the wall towards the edge where he was lying down. He smiled down at them while summoning his golden arrow that was laid next to his body and he sent it down at the orcs who were climbing the walls willing it to pierce through not their heads but their arms.

The orcs roared in pain as their wounds forced them to let go of the cracks they were holding onto and plummet down to their doom whether it be death from the impact of hitting the ground or death by falling onto their own weapons, Hiccup didn't care. He willed his arrow back to his side before he continued to launch red crystals down at the orcs that were busy killing off his skeleton warriors using their great numbers to overwhelm them. A roar from his side brought him out of his thoughts and turned to see three orcs charging at him after they climbed up from the side out of his sight. Hiccup growled and released his rotating blade and launched two at them imbedding the rotating blades into the chests of the orcs on the left and right leaving the orc that was in the middle alive and it kept charging at him. Hiccup pointed his prosthetic fist at it nailing it in the gut before the fist continued to push it back right over the edge throwing it over the end making it fall to its doom. Hiccup pulled his fist back into place before turning back to the battle below and continued to help the girls from above.

It was then a roar echoed throughout the entire cave and all the orcs stopped fighting and turned to the direction of the roar giving the skeletons the chance to kill a few but some orcs recovered and fought back while the others turned to the entrance where the roar came from. There standing in the middle of that tunnel entrance was the orc queen who ruled over these tunnels and the orcs who ruled over the forces who Hiccup, and the girls were fighting, queen Olathe who was glaring at the girls. The girls looked back at her as the orcs stepped aside creating a path for her leading straight to the girls as she gripped her metal claws tightly and the orcs backed away from the girls forming a circle around them. When Olathe entered the circle the orcs immediately closed the entry way while she looked at the girls and said.

"So, you're the ones I have to thank for the new meat littering the tunnels and my future husband getting out of his cell." She looked from Blanca to Astrid and sighed. "My forces clearly need more training if this is what caused them so much trouble." She gestured to Blanca. "An overgrown worm," She gestured to Astrid. "and a pathetic little human girl." The glared at Olathe as Astrid gripped her axe tightly.

"So, you're the one behind Hiccup being locked up in a cell." She nodded.

"I had to, or he might try to run away from me, and his future responsibilities and I couldn't let my future husband do that." Blanca replied.

"He will never be your husband, he would never marry someone who intends to kill the innocent or uses the bodies of her own people for meat."

"That's your own opinion but as I have learnt with time every creatures will has a limit and I shall enjoy bending his will to mine." Astrid smirked.

"Hiccups, not that easy to break." She then readied her axe while Blanca raised her tails end and pointed the blade of her tail at Olathe. "And we will never allow you to cage him again." Olathe readied her claws.

"Rest assured unlike my forces, I'm not weak and I am all too happy to prove it to you."

With that said Olathe charged at the girls as Blanca thrust the blade on her tail forward at her but Olathe dropped to the ground dodging the blow. She slid across the ground towards Astrid who swung her axe down towards her hoping to end the queens life but Olathe stabbed her claws into the ground slowing her down and spreading her legs avoiding the blade. Olathe stopped when the blade of the axe was right between her legs before she threw her legs up and thrust them forward kicking Astrid in the gut making her stumble back as Olathe stood back up. She slashed her claws at Blanca's human torso but Blanca pulled her body back avoiding the strike as Olathe used the momentum of her blow to spin around in a swinging kick aimed for her head.

Blanca was barely able to dodge the blow aimed for her head but Astrid took the opportunity to try and deliver a blow to Olathe using her axe by swinging it at her head from behind. Olathe blocked the blow with her right arm and shoved Astrid back before taking a swipe at her using the metal claws in her left hand and succeeded in ripping Astrid's top but barely missing her skin. Astrid looked at the cut in shock while Blanca swung her tails blade at Olathe who flipped back over the tail dodging Blanca's tail before landing on her feet and lunging at Blanca's human torso. Blanca pulled her body back avoiding the blow but not able to fully avoid the blades of the metal claw as two of her hairs were severed by the blades. She thrust her arm forward and blasted her magic at Olathe who side stepped the blow before she tuck and rolled out of the way of another swing from Astrid's axe.

Olathe stood back up thrusting her arm up trying to stab Astrid from the underside of her head but Blanca pushed her aside saving her from the killing blow. Blanca then swung her hand covered in magic at Olathe who leaned back, bending her upper torso back allowing her to avoid the strike and return the blow by swiping her left claw at her. Blanca dodged the blow as Olathe used her right arm to block another strike from Astrid's axe before grabbing Astrid by the arm and throwing her into Blanca making them both tumble back into the middle of the circle. She smirked at the girls and said.

"Face it girls, you are no match for me." The girls just stood up glaring at her ready to continue the fight until a shadow flew over them before Hiccup landed in front of the girls with his wings spread as he fell to his knees smirking at Olathe and as he pulled his wings back into his back he said.

"You villains are so easily distracted." Olathe raised an eyebrow. "You were so caught up in your fight you forgot about me and that gave me all the time I needed to set up a little surprise for you and your forces." He turned to Blanca. "Blanca turn back into your human form and stay next to me." He turned to Astrid. "That goes for you to Astrid." They both took their places as Astrid asked.

"Is everything ready to go Hiccup?" He nodded as Olathe asked.

"What's going on?" They smirked at the orc before Astrid answered.

"We were never trying to beat you, we were just keeping you and your forces distracted while Hiccup prepared to end this." Hiccup then continued by saying.

"You see, while you girls were fighting I was busy setting up a few of my boom beetles and now that they're all set." He turned to Olathe. "This ends" He raised his prosthetic hand with his middle finger and thumb pressing against each other. "now!"

With that said he snapped his fingers and the sound of explosions echoed throughout all the tunnels as every explosive Hiccup set up went off including the ones they'd set up in the mines the orcs had been digging to escape. The boom beetles that had wrapped around the middle of the pillars that held up the roof of the cave they were all in destroying that section of the pillars and causing large chunks of rock to fall down on the orc forces killing more than a few of them. The walls and roof began to shake with stalactites loosening and falling down onto the orcs killing many as many tried to fell but didn't get far before a pillar fell down blocking the one entrance and rubble fell from the roof blocking the other exit. Olathe looked around as the members of her army were crushed by the falling debris and trapped in the cavern that was falling apart around them. Her eyes then landed on Hiccup and the girls and she growled as she yelled out.

"YOU'VE DOOMED US ALL!" Hiccup smirked.

"No, just your people and your plans for conquest since I have a way to protect me and the girls." She growled and charged at them but Hiccups unfolded his eagle shield blocking her punch and throwing her back as rubble fell between them cutting them off from each other but before the roof came down completely they heard her say.

"THIS ISN'T OVER HADDOCK, I WILL BE BACK!" The roof completely collapsed down on them as the girls held onto Hiccup who had barely had enough strength to hold up his eagle shield to protect them.

On the surface

Members of the Boiling Cove tribe stared in shock as large pieces of their islands forest began to sink down while the sound of inhuman screams echoed through it. They all looked around wondering what was happening except for the ones who were guarding the entrance to the cave that was going to be the original great hall as they were too busy killing off a few orcs who tried to run out. This made them wonder what was happening inside that drive them from their cave in such a rush since they did seem scared when they ran out. Stormfly launched a few of her spines at three orcs that just ran out of the cave filling their bodies with her spines along with the mouth of one of them killing them all. Another orc ran out only to be thrown back in by a single plasma blast to the chest while the ice spitting dragons hit the next few orcs with their icy blasts stopping them in their tracks and giving the tribes warriors the chance to shatter them.

While they handled the cave in a part of the forest that had collapsed there was small explosion from beneath the rubble throwing it everywhere onto the snow. When the dust caused by the explosion cleared it revealed Hiccup and the girls beneath it right before Hiccup dropped to his knees breathing heavily as he said.

"That powder really packs a punch." The girls smiled at him as Astrid said.

"So do those boom beetles you built." Blanca then asked.

"Why did you have so many of them to begin with?" Hiccup shrugged.

"You never know when they might come in handy and I had a lot of free time on my hands so I decided to try using my jewel wigs to help make something more than jewels and after the first few I lost track of time and before I knew it I had ten canisters of them." He sighed. "I used up the remaining seven canisters to blow up the pillars of the cavern and it's going to take a while to replace them all." He then smiled. "Luckily building them is part of the fun and the ones I used up were for a good cause." He looked at the girls. "Helping you two save the world from the orcs." The girls giggled before Astrid said.

"Come on Hiccup, you're the one who discovered the orcs and brought down the cavern on the entire orc army."

"And if weren't for you two I'd still be trapped in that cell getting that powder thrown into my face keeping me as a new born baby." They giggled.

"Well you're the one who's always saving us it's only right that we save you from time to time." Hiccup nodded.

"We better get back to the village and let them know what's happened before there's a panic with people thinking the islands sinking." They nodded before they all began their walk back to the village.

10 days later

Hiccups POV:

It's been ten days since the girls saved me and that time has been nothing but one headache after another for me and the girls since we've had to deal with not only the people of the island but also some remaining orcs that we had to hunt down. The first headache came when we got back to the village and everyone wanted to know what happened to us down in the caverns and tunnels so I had to show them all using my illusion spider. I started from when I first encountered the orcs and used my jade warriors to fight them and ended when I brought the cavern down on us and Olathe. Speaking of Olathe we never found her body, all we found were her claws and that made me worry since if there's one thing I know is that never believe things are over unless you know the villain is no more and her kind always have a way of coming back. For now though I took her metal claws as a souvenir from this adventure and sadly this adventure also got me and the girls a few new admirers from the tribe.

Sadly more than a few people were now curious about Blanca and wondering what she was, where she came from and a few of them were afraid of her to the point that some tried to form an angry mob. One person was an old man who reminded me a lot of Mildew since he had the same serpent tongue as him that he used to turn a lot of the villagers against Blanca to form an angry mob to come after her claiming she had some dark spell on me. When this mob first formed with him leading them I could tell my dragons wanted to blast him but I beat them to it and used my ox flame boots speed mode to slam into the old man and pin him to the wall as I told him if he ever threatened my Blanca again I'd rip his tongue out. I then used my illusion spider to show them how me and Blanca met and got together which put an end to any theory that I was being mind-controlled and being a threat to the people. Just to make sure the old man got the message of not messing with my Blanca though I branded the back of his neck for good measure and as a reminder not to mess with me or those I love.

Then there's the damage that was caused when the tunnels and caverns were brought down causing the land to fall in on itself but I'm happy to say there was no serious damage done other than a few trees collapsing and a small avalanche. Fortunately these trees only caused some damage to the homes of the local wood cutters who lived in the forest but the damages were easily repaired while the avalanche buried a few houses that we had to dig out. Then there are the stray orcs who still wondered the island along with its underground tunnels and caverns who were another headache for me.

To track down and deal with the remaining orcs I called in my best trackers from my island to help me and the girls track all them down and bring an end to the lives of the orcs, ending the threat they posed. The trackers I called in were none other than Adal and all of my wolves who were all too happy to come to my aid in hunting down the orcs and ending their lives. I always left at least three of them behind in the village with my ice spitting dragons and the girls to help guard it against any attacks by the orcs since when I first called my wolves in there'd already been two attacks by small groups. With the hunting group Adal was always the leader alongside Maelstrom while me and Toothless flying above them to help kill the orcs from above. Sadly my wolves and their power caught the attention of many of the local villagers who gave me a headache by trying to buy them from me but they never accepted me telling them that they weren't for sale. Fortunately a growl from them got most to back off while finding out that Adal was the son of Fenrir and his power was running through their veins got the rest to back off but I could see the desire in their eyes.

As for the bodies, we'd bring them back to the village and strip them of their armour and weapons so they could be melted down by the blacksmiths so they could be used in their work while bodies were burned to ash. These bodies weren't the only bodies that were set ablaze though since shortly after the battle I remembered the bodies of the fallen warriors in the cave that was meant to be the original Great Hall. I informed chief Fen about them and my request that they be sent off to Valhalla on burning funeral pyres so that their spirits could truly pass on to the next life. He fully agreed with me and had the ships set up to send the bodies off and give the warriors a proper Viking funeral with all the people present to send them off. When I watched the ships with the bodies burn I swear I heard voices on the wind whisper thankyou to me but I chalked it up to my imagination.

There's also the headache that Astrid was giving me since she constantly wanted to come with me on my underground orc hunts and whenever she did she got a twinkle in her eye. I knew this was a twinkle of desire for the same adrenaline rush she got when her and Blanca were on the rescue mission but I refused since in my hunts I'd had more than a few close calls. She wasn't happy about my reply but she did accept my response when I told her that the orcs might launch more attacks on the village and I wanted both her and Stormfly patrolling the village from the sky leading my own dragons against them. This seemed to get her to accept the position but I could tell this wasn't the end of her desire for that adrenaline rush and I couldn't blame her, I know that feeling and I know how addictive it could be. Blanca wasn't much better since she also wanted to join but I was able to convince her to stay to help protect the people from any orcs that got into the village.

Presently I was in one of the underground tunnels with my grootslang coat in jacket form while riding Maelstrom with Shadow, Shade, Bolt and Rascal following behind all in their full armour while Toothless, Adal and my other wolves waited outside. Right now we were in hot pursuit of a group of orcs that had escaped us by running into the tunnels and it was easy to tell these tunnels were made by them. This only meant we had to keep our guard up since this was possibly a trap set up to trap me and my wolves so I kept a sharp eye out for anything suspicious. I raised my prosthetic arm and readied it to fire my mineral balls before launching a single ball at one of the orcs we were chasing nailing it in the back of the head. The orc fell to the ground dead since the ball went right into his skull piercing his brain but we kept riding after the other five who had just run down a tunnel to the side. We turned the corner and I gasped in shock as we came to a stop at the sight of fourteen orc archers with their bows readied to fire and pointed right at us before they let the arrows fly.

I quickly jumped off Maelstrom while releasing my eagle shield and slamming it into the ground turning it into its phoenix mode and creating the barrier of energy just as the arrows were a foot away from us. The arrows turned to dust when they went through the barrier while I reached into my coat and pulled out my kappa shell helmet before I threw it at them. I pulled out my Anubis khopesh while my kappa shell flew past the orcs cutting up the bows, break them and rendering them useless. I willed my kappa shell to return to my hand and I quickly put it away before I pulled my eagle shield back and folded it up as the barrier came down. For a second the orcs and I just stood there staring at us while my wolves stood ready to attack and were just waiting for me to give the order for them to attack. I smiled as I released my ice claws and ordered.

"Sick em!"

As soon as the words left my mouth my wolves ran past me and at the orcs who charged at us while I joined my wolves in the charge against the orcs. I sped ahead of my wolves using my ox flame boots speed mode and stabbed my blade into the nearest orcs chest making it roar as the life drained from its body. This was actually the first time I've used my khopesh on a living creature and the results were disturbing to say the least since the body of the orc seemed to be drying out leaving it mummified with eyes sinking back into the head making the eyeholes look like empty pits of darkness. I didn't dwell on it for long as I pulled my khopesh out of the now dried out body before swinging it to cut the throat of another orc and the results were instant with its body beginning to dry out while its blood turned to dust and sand.

Another orc ran at me from behind but before it could reach me or I could react, Maelstrom pounced on it from the side pinning it to the ground. I looked away when each of his heads grabbed one of its arms and ripped them off making the orc roar in pain but I just ran at the next orc that was my target. The orc ran at me with its sword raised and slashed at me but I stepped back avoiding the blow before I swung my khopesh at the orc who raised his sword to try and block it. My khopesh cut through its sword like a hot knife through yak butter and turning it to dust while the end of the my blade slashed into the orcs chest plate and its skin. The orc roared in pain as its body fell to the ground slowly mummifying its body while I turned to see another orc running at me with a mace but Rascal tackled him from the side, sinking his fangs into the orcs throat as he did.

I smiled at Rascal and looked around to find another target only to see most of them had been dealt with by my wolves and those that hadn't been dealt with were cornered by Maelstrom who was snarling and snapping both his heads fangs at them. I smiled at him as my other wolves finished off their own prey they joined Maelstrom in cornering the remaining three orcs who gripped their weapons tightly. I turned away and looked down at one of my mummified orcs as the screaming began I said.

"A gruesome end to gruesome creatures." I turned back to see my wolves who were spitting up the blood of the orcs making me sigh. "Alright boys, you know the drill, gather up the bodies and I'll start tying them up so we can transport them out of here." I looked at the bodies in disgust. "Can't let their bodies poison the land and cause trouble for the islands inhabitants." It was then I noticed a small opening in the wall and I hummed in thought. "Wonder where this leads." I turned to my wolves. "I'll be back in a minute guys, I'm going to check this out."

They each growled and continued to gather the bodies and their severed limbs while I made my way down the crack which turned into a small tunnel. I made my way down the tunnel to the very end only to find myself standing in a large cavern with a giant metal door that had bars locking it built into the wall at the end of it. Looking at the metal bars that acted as the locks I knew there was something in there since nobody just locked a door like that for no reason. With my khopesh in hand I walked up to the door and cut into the bars that were locking it, turning the bars into dust before doing the same with the door allowing me to see what it was hiding from me. When the last remains of the door fell to the ground I looked inside and felt my jaw drop at the sight of what was in the cavern that was blocked off by the door.

This cavern was filled with piles of gold, silver and jewels but the thing that got my attention was that none of it was processed, the gold and silver weren't formed into anything so they were just big chunks while the jewels were still stuck in rocks. Despite the fact that none of this stuff had been processed I knew it would still be incredibly valuable and would do a lot of good for the village. Then the thought of how it all got here came to mind before I realised these orcs had been digging tunnels for over a hundred years so it would've been weird if they didn't come across any treasures like this. I sighed knowing getting it back using my spiderpack would be a mission but at the same time I couldn't leave it in the cavern to gather dust for the rest of time. After a few second I decided I'd it best I leave it for now and inform Fen about it before coming back to gather it all to be transported back to the village.

With this in mind I left the cavern to re-join my wolves who were sitting around the dead bodies waiting for me to return to help deal with them. I smiled at my wolves before a look of disgust formed on my face at the sight of the dead orc bodies but I sighed knowing what needed to be done now as I had done so many times before. I reached into my coat and felt my spiderpack push a length of rope into it and pulled it out before I walked up to the bodies and said to my wolves.

"Alright boys, line up so we can begin loading up these pieces of filth and get out of here."

They all growled before turning to face the way out while I lined up the bodies and began tying them together so we wouldn't have to make more than one trip. Once four of the bodies were securely tied together I brought out another length of rope and tied the one end around the rope holding the orcs before tying the other end to the back of Shadows armour. I repeated this process with the remaining bodies and the other wolves until all the orc bodies were ready to be dragged out of the caves to be dealt with. As I rode Maelstrom down the tunnels with the bodies being dragged behind us though I hoped these were the last of the orcs as I wanted to get back home and enjoy a little down time with no headaches, no fans and nothing to do but enjoy my hobbies and spend time with those I love.

Four days later

It's been four days since me and my wolves got back from our orc hunt that lead to the discovery of the treasure cavern and in that time I'd been kept busy with something other than orc hunting. First thing I did when I got back was inform chief Fen who at the time was enjoying a goblet of mead and when I told him about the caverns contents he spat out his mead in shock before demanding I take him to the cavern to see it for himself. When he saw it for the first time I don't think his eyes could have gotten any wider or his jaw any lower before he grabbed me by the shoulders and began shaking me while asking me if I had any idea on how much this would help his trib. He then pushed me away and began asking me if I knew how to get the stuff out of the cave and back to the village where it could be sorted out so they could begin working on it. I didn't get the chance to answer since almost immediately after he asked he continued spouting out ideas he had before shooting each one down after each one was said.

When I felt like he'd been acting crazy for long enough I grabbed him by his frozen beard yelling at him to calm down and that I already had a way to get all the stuff out quickly and safely. He demanded to know what it was before I released my spirit bow and took out a digger arrow and aimed it at the corner of the roof and let it fly. The arrow flew into the roof creating a giant sloped hole leading to the surface making me smile as I turned to letting him know that with access to the cavern from the surface moving all its contents would be a piece of cake. After that we returned to the village and had my wolves connected to some wagons before leading them back to the hole in the ground leading to the treasure cavern. After that it was just a simple matter of using my arrows to create a slope for them to bring the wagons down, loading them up and then taking them back to the village before repeating the process until all the treasures were dropped off.

After the last of it was dropped off though I was worried my hearing was damaged by the cheers of the people who began lifting me up and carried me around the crowd crying out their praises for me and my wolves. For a few hours of their celebration I was worried that they were going to try to convince us to move to their village as permanent residents. The girls told me the people were just being grateful for all we'd done but an hour later my worries were proven right when Chief Fen called me to the great hall to meet with the council. It was there they made me the offer of a large house on the summit of one of their hills so it had a great view of the village, a quarter of the treasure we looted from the cavern, treated like an honoured guest and a bunch of other things if I stayed with them.

I turned them down letting them know I was perfectly happy with my current home since I'd worked hard to build it and it was close to Berk so it was easy to get there if my parents needed me. Most accepted this answer but there were still a few of the council members who didn't accept my decision so they were another headache for not just me but the girls as well. They had the women of the village talk to the girls trying to point out how the island was a wonderful place to live and raise a family when the time came. The men also had some of the local girls who were more appealing than the other girls try flirting with me to try and convince me to stay on their island. They're the reason I kept a wolf with me at all times since they kept the local girls off my back and away from me so I could enjoy a simple bit of peace and take a simple walk through the village after hunting some orcs.

Now after all this time I was standing in the middle of the village with Astrid and Blanca at my side while my wolves and dragons stood behind me with Adal standing right behind me with Toothless while in front of us was Chief Fen, his Wife Agatha and their son Artie. Chief Fen walked forward and placed a hand on my shoulder as he said.

"Hiccup I can never thankyou enough for all you've done for my tribe, you helped saved my island from the ancient threat of the orcs that we didn't even know existed and then you helped repair the damages that came with their defeat, hunt down most of the remaining orcs roaming the island and the underground tunnels, at your recommendation we brought the bodies back to be disposed of while their armour and weapons were melted down to be used by out blacksmith for later use and to top it all off you discovered a hidden cove where they kept a fortune in gold, silver and jewels that'll keep the village running for years while asking for nothing in return." I nodded.

"Our tribes have been allies for generations so when you needed help I was not going to say no." He smiled.

"And I hope our tribes remain allies for a great many generations to come." I nodded.

"As do I."

"Now you may have asked for nothing in return but we cannot allow you to leave here emptyhanded after all you've done for us." He took a few steps back and clapped his hands and one man walked forward holding a metal shield with the tribes insignia indented on it. "This is to show you're an ally of our tribe and will always be welcome on our island and we forged it out of some of the metal we got from the dead orcs." I nodded as I took out my spiderpack, placed it on the ground while making the mouth grow wide before I placed the shield in it and watched as it sank in. "Those magic tools of yours are pretty darn handy to have around." I smiled at him.

"Trust me, you have no idea."

"Now onto the next gift for all three of you." He clapped his hands again and three men came forward holding leather strips with gold medals that had the tribes insignia on them. "These medals are the highest honour we can bestow upon anyone." Me and the girls lowered our heads allowing the medals to be put on.

"Thank you chief Fen." The medals were placed around our necks before Astrid said.

"Thank you for this honour us chief Fen."

"It's the least I can do lass." He then turned to me. "Now about the treasures in the cavern you found." I raised an eyebrow. "I know you told us to keep the treasure but it would feel wrong for us to keep it all after you did all the work of finding it and wiping out so many of the orcs so we'll be sending you off with a small piece of the treasure hoard." He clapped his hands and three men walked out holding large sacks that they put in my spiderpacks mouth before they sunk into the darkness. "One bag holds gold, one holds silver and one holds jewels." He then smiled. "If you have any concerns about it being a large amount then don't be since taking away this amount didn't even leave a dent in our new treasury." I smiled as my spiderpack shrunk down.

"Thank you Chief Fen, for your gifts, your hospitality and for welcoming us to your island and although I treasure Berks alliance with your tribe I hope I don't have to come back here anytime soon for anything other than a simple visit." He chuckled as I put my spiderpack back on.

"You and me both lad." I bowed.

"Till next we meet chief Fen."

"Looking forward to it lad." With that said I stood back up and turned to Adal.

"Alright big guy, open a portal home so we can go home and for a bit of down time after all that's happened on this island." He growled and nodded before letting out a mighty howl opening up a portal to the forest on my island and we all made our way through and found ourselves standing in the forest outside the wolves cave making me smile. "Home at last." Astrid then said.

"I now know why you're always so happy to get home after an adventure, it feels good." I smiled.

"Try coming home after going up against the king of the titans or a demon lord." She chuckled before Blanca said.

"I believe it best we inform everyone on Berk that we have returned and all that happened when we were with the Boiling Cove tribe." We both nodded.

"You two better get ready for some yelling and questions since that comes with the territory of life risking adventures." They giggled before we went into the house through the entrance in the wolves cave to get ready for the coming headache.

AN: And that brings an end to another chapter and it is hear I need to make something clear to you all, I have a life outside of fanfiction that gets in the way of my writing which is the main reason why I leave so many cliffhangers. I admit leaving you guys hanging is a little entertaining for me but it's like treats, I do my best to enjoy it in modesty but it's not that easy for me. Anyway I do appreciate you all putting up with them but rest assured I am trying to keep the cliffhangers to a minimum like with this chapter, I thought of ending it on a cliffhanger but decided against it knowing it would take longer to finish off but bring an end to this chapter of Hiccups life. I also used it as a chance to show what the Anubis Khopesh does to living opponents who are actually organic and in the next chapter I'm going to answer another question that's been kept up for literally more than 100 chapters. If you want to know what this question that shall be answered is then wait till the next chapter as that will spoil the big surprise for you all. Now onto answering the questions.

MANALO:

Yes I've played the game and I will consider some of the weapons, no there will not be a Godzilla VS Kong since I don't think it will fit in and I have considered Kronus returning but still considering it.

Ducelet:

I have been thinking of giving him some herds but we'll have to wait and see.

The islands full abilities will be revealed in the final chapter which won't be for a long time.

Idea 1-He has one of those lakes in the great planes where his spirit mare roams

Idea 2-We'll see about that in the future

Idea 3- This is something I'll consider in the future

AdvancedNSeven:

No Heather will not join the wives as she's more of a sister to Hiccup than a lover.

Lukec7585:

I have been considering him finding some dinosaurs but not sure if he'll train them after watching the Jurassic park films

Wait and see

Heat.5466

Don't worry, when it comes to HTTYD 3 things will end differently.

And that brings a full end to this chapter, I hope you all enjoyed it and will review kindly and remember I am trying to avoid leaving you all on cliffhangers but without them then it would take at least a month to post each chapter so you'll just have to deal with them from time to time. Have a nice day!
