Chapter 197

Hiccups POV:

It's been a week since I met with the gods of Persia and to describe that week as a pain would be a massive understatement as I had barely a moments peace to enjoy. I had to deal with multiple nobles wanting to discuss some things with me such as wanting to know about my adventures and the places I've been to. I've been invited to multiple of them to their houses, but I turned them down since most of them wanted to buy my scorpion from me or introduce me to their daughters. It wasn't that hard to figure out why as King Sharaman has a big mouth and informed multiple nobles about who I was at the banquet which lead to them realizing they could gain a lot from marrying off their daughters to me and that my scorpion would be helpful in many ways. After that banquet I was lucky if I could get a couple of minutes to myself without being interrupted by a noble who wanted to speak with me or by some warriors wanting to ask me for advice on combat or training.

Fortunately, with the free time I did have I was able to study my gifts and get an understanding on what some of them could so such as my new punch dagger and my new talisman. My punch dagger was made of pure gold with silver lining the edges of the daggers and the multiple pointed star engraved at the bottom of it, just above the handle. As for the talisman which I originally thought was a coin due to its appearance and size being the same as a coin, it was made of gold with a single multi pointed star on either side with it being made of red metal.

The two gifts though proved to be very painful for me when I first picked them up. To begin with when I first picked them up my prosthetic took them in almost instantly followed by an incredible burning pain that made me drop to my knees as I grit my teeth in pain. When the pain finally ended, I could feel a difference in my arms abilities and from there I began trying to figure out what it could do in the training grounds. Sadly, while I was trying these new abilities out it caught the attention of some of the guards who went and informed others about seeing me heading towards the training grounds which of course drew in an audience.

I didn't let this get in the way of my training though and in some cases, it helped me test out some things concerning my gifts abilities. To begin with the dagger could come out of my prosthetics knuckles which means it would make a very lethal punch if I sent it out on contact. Along with this it had no problem piercing a gronkle iron sheet I brought with me in case it was needed to make some new weapons or something. That isn't where things ended though as I learnt the blade could split open like a pair of scissors before a blade that is one foot longer than the splitting blade pushes out from the middle. This is an ability that would be handy in not only doing damage to my foes but also disarming them since if a weapon or a handle was coming at me I could trap them between the blades and then launch the middle one out snapping or shattering the weapon.

As for the talisman, it had grown into a palm sized disc that I could launch out of my prosthetics disc launcher and even if it didn't hit the person it was launched at it could still cause some damage. When the disc lands on the ground it floats up while leaking a ton of sand and when it's five feet high it creates a sand dervish that I can then control and at first, I thought this wouldn't do much other than help me ward off predators, I learnt I was very wrong. I learnt if I focused it could turn the sand into glass spikes that would then be launched out at enemies and do some serious harm to them. The thing is when it landed on sand covered ground it could absorb the sand and last at most fifteen minutes but when launched onto regular ground it only lasts five minutes.

Then there's what happens a person or something runs into the sand dervish created by the disc they'll be trapped in it until it dissolves and reveals the person. Sadly, for them they still wouldn't be able to do anything as when the sand clears the person's body is completely trapped in glass like how Johan is trapped in ice. Unlike Johan though, they're kept alive and only trapped for an hour at most or until I hit them, shattering the glass freeing them and when they're free they are left stiff. Then there's effective attack that happens when I launch a disc and they hit a person on any part of their body since it may not pack much of punch when they impact, what happens after takes the enemy out of a fight. When the disk first hits the person, it lies down on their body it immediately begins leaking sands like a waterfall slowing down the victim until they're completely covered in sand. The sand would then quickly dissolve leaving a person trapped in glass like anyone who was caught in one of my sand dervishes.

All in all, I knew it would come in handy when it came to future battles and I was proven right three days ago after King Sharaman called me and his sons in to discuss an issue with some desert bandits. I offered to deal with them which meant it was an ideal chance for me to try out my new gifts and when I discovered their camp, I was able to ambush them. When I did this, I was able to fully test out my new prosthetics new attachments and I was not disappointed since the things I was able to do allowed me to take down the group of twenty men in minutes. Once that was done I was welcomed back to the city with cheers of joy and praise before I made it back to the palace where I unloaded all the stolen items the bandits had so they could be returned to their proper owners. After that despite my protests I was once again rewarded with great treasures of gold and jewels for my services to Persia and I was quick to put these items into my spiderpack before anyone saw them since I didn't need to give the nobles more reasons to get close to me.

Now I was standing at the palace wall in the courtyard with the royals in front of me and a portal door behind me as Dastan walked up to me smiling before he placed a hand on my shoulder and said.

"I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for us my friend as if it weren't for you, I doubt we'd be alive right now." I smiled.

"Come on Dastan, you would've found a way to beat Nizam as you're the type of guy who finds a way." He chuckled.

"Thank you and I do hope you come back again some time but next time, just come back for a vacation." I chuckled.

"With my luck, I doubt that I'll be able to relax until after I've gone up against some great threat to the world." I then frowned and gulped. "Then again I'm about to go home and face a far deadlier thing than any power-hungry mad man or deadly assassins." Heraised an eyebrow. "My wives, both of which are not going to be the least bit happy when they find out what's happened to me here in Persia." Everyone laughed before King Sharaman walked up.

"There are few beasts that can measure up to the ferocity, intimidation or just plain ability to overpower a mans will than an angry wife." We all laughed at this as I replied.

"Too true your majesty." Tamina then walked forward with something in her hand that was wrapped in a golden silk cloth.

"Hiccup Haddock, after what has been discovered I have my doubts that the time dagger is safe here anymore and it is for that reason I wish for you to take it with you and hide it on your island." To say I was shocked would be an understatement.

"Tamina, you can't be serious." I gestured to the covered blade. "That is a sacred treasure of your people given to you by the gods themselves."

"This dagger was given to us to protect it from those who would abuse it and for centuries we have honored that duty but we were betrayed by one of our own and because of that I fear many more shall come for it and should they succeed then I do not wish to know what they intend to do." I couldn't disagree with her, so I nodded and took the dagger before placing it into my grootslang coat and allowing my spiderpack to take it and put it away for now.

"The dagger will be safe on my island, within my armory's vault where I keep all my mystic weapons your majesty." She smiled and nodded before I bowed to them all. "Until next we meet my friends and maybe next time, I'll bring my wives for some down time." Dastan smiled.

"We'll be looking forward to that my friend."

With that said I made my way into the portal door and headed inside to find myself back in the portal room smiling before going through the one that led to my home. I exited the door and found myself standing in the portal room making me smile and let out a sigh while mentally saying that it was good to be home. I quickly used the eye of the dragon's connection to my automatons to check out everything around the island and to try and find where the girls are spending their time. I checked everywhere and saw my dragons, animals and snake guardians were all just doing their own thing and enjoying their day while the girls were nowhere to be found.

I figured they might be on Berk or out on their own dragons and checked through my automatons that I kept posted on Berk and smiled when I found the girls going through drills with the riders. I smiled at the sight of my girls since it had been a while since I last seen them but then I felt uneasy knowing they were going to be beyond angry when they find out what I'd been through. I took a breath and knew I should first check on Toothless and the egg before looking up my sand phantoms and their own eggs since when I left the eggs were close to hatching. With this in mind I took off to both check out the eggs and let my inhabitants know that I was back home safe and sound before heading up to my volcano to install the new piece of the mine and of course release my new salamanders. Before I left the room though I pulled out the time dagger and held it in my hand as I said.

"Before I do anything, the first thing I need to do is put this in the armories vault where nobody will be able to mess with it as the last thing anyone should do is mess with time." With that said I headed out towards my armory so I could lock this thing up tight where no mortal would ever be able to lay their hands on it again.

Nightfall

To say this day had been eventful would be an understatement as once I'd put the dagger away in the armory's vault, I went to greet all my islands inhabitants. I am happy to say the eggs are shaking more than ever now meaning they'd be hatching very soon which is something both me and the dragons were looking forward to, especially Toothless who was pouncing around in joy when the egg shook again. After that I took Violet up to the volcano since despite his joy at seeing me Toothless wanted to stay with the egg and I couldn't blame him as this would most likely be the first hatchling of his kind that he's ever seen and he intended to raise it as if it were his own. I figured why not as he already treated the egg as if he were the mother of it and I can't blame him for that since I'd grown rather fond of the egg myself.

When I'd arrived, I went through the motions that I always do when installing a new section of my island, but I hadn't seen what new materials I'd gotten as intended to first let Berk know I'm back. After that I dropped the salamanders into the magma after explaining to Damen what the orb contained when he looked at it in curiosity once I pulled it from my coat. When the orb hit the magma, it glowed brightly as it sunk into the lava while I watched with Damen kept his head next to me as I rubbed his head to keep him calm. A few seconds past before there was a bright glow below the magma that moved towards the wall until two large reptiles that were as long as my arm and looked like regular salamanders made of magma crawled out. They both nested on the ledge before drifting off into slumber and seeing that they weren't going anywhere I told Damen to keep an eye on them until they wake up since there's no telling what they would do if left unsupervised.

After that I took off to Berk to let the people know I was back and of course to face the ferocious beasts that my wives would turn into when they find out what's happened. When I arrived, the girls were enjoying lunch with their dragons as were the other riders and the rest of the village so I wouldn't have to waste time rounding them up. As expected, when I arrived, I drew attention from at least one person who then screamed my name to Valhalla drawing attention from everyone who turned to see me. Then before I could even take a breath, I was swarmed with people all wanting to hear about where I'd been and my latest adventure but like always, I couldn't blame them since Berk was an island in the middle of nowhere so not much happens.

It was then I was grateful that Astrid was able to get them to back off with a single yell and got everyone to back away before she and Blanca walked up with each giving me a kiss to welcome me back. They then lead me over to where my parents were sitting before my father asked me how my trip was, and my mother begged me to tell her I was able to avoid endangering my life this time. When I was asked this, I'm guessing the uneasiness showed on my face as she let out a sad sigh before asking me what type of life risking trouble I'd been pulled into this time.

I then used my illusion spider to show them all that had happened from when I first went to the ostrich races to my final goodbyes with the royals. While I showed them everything, I kept watch on the expressions of the various people's expressions, and I had to hold in my laughter when the people saw time being reversed. The looks I did not like though however were the looks Astrid and Blanca were giving me when they saw me going up against the Hassansin leader in the cavern holding the sand glass and how I fell down into the darkness. I knew I was going to get it later, but I just kept focusing and continued to show everyone all that happened in Persia and how I hunted each one of the Hassansins down.

By the end of it the girls looked ready to strangle me while my mother looked close to tears and my father looked as if he'd seen a ghost by how pale he was. After that came the regular question and answer session right after the girls each gave me a slap for putting my life at risk again when I was just meant to enjoy a peaceful exploration trip in which I'd take in a bit of a new culture, buy some souvenirs, have some me time and other such things. When that was done, I enjoyed a peaceful meal while my dad ranted about how I was not to go on another trip to a foreign land but the girls reminded him that he couldn't do that as he didn't have that authority. I smiled when they said this but my joy was short lived as they then reminded him that it was their job and they then went on about how they were going to make that small fact clear to me when we were in the privacy of our own house.

When we were in the comfort of our own home, they did make this perfectly clear to me to the point that I think they heard their yells all over the island. Once they were done, they made it clear they were happy to have me back, that I was safe and that I was able to save the world from certain destruction again. They did make it clear though that they didn't want me going on anymore adventures in foreign lands for a while and wanted me to stick around for some time. I couldn't blame them for this and accepted their request that I take at least a week to unwind on the island and tend to the island and the needs of its inhabitants for a bit. This would also give me a bit of time to relax a bit and unwind while testing out the new materials in the mines, figure out how it can be used, trying out some more of my weapons and just enjoy the company of my islands inhabitants which included my wives.

Six weeks later

It's been six weeks since I got back to my island and those weeks had been busy, starting with a sleepless first night back but I wasn't complaining about that night as Blanca and Astrid wanted to make it clear to me that they missed me. The next day was spent sorting out the various treasures I'd been given back in Persia and preparing a place in the trophy room for the weapons of the Hassansins as a reminder of my latest adventure. The day afterwards was spent putting the weapons in place and studying the new materials in my mine and I was not disappointed by the two minerals I was able to find as they were going to come in handy. These materials are 'Enchanted red clay' and 'Enchanted sandstone' both of which would come in handy in their own ways with the abilities they possessed.

To begin with there's the material known as 'enchanted clay' which as the name implies is a type of clay that is crimson in color but has its own abilities that make it better than usual clay. Before it's put into the furnace to harden it's like normal clay so I can shape and form it into various items like bowls, cups and sculptures. When they're put into the furnace, that is when things got interesting as once it's hardened it is hard as gronkle iron so when it's dropped it doesn't shatter like other pottery. Because of this I'd spent three days making a pottery addition to my house so I could work on various forms of pottery like pots, bowls, cups, sculptures and other such things. Sadly, word got out in the village and a lot of the people became interested in the pottery I made and began making orders for various items they wanted.

Then there's the enchanted sandstone which when unprocessed isn't much and looks just like any other piece of regular sandstone but like with the clay, when processed becomes so much more. The stuff could be melted down into plates that then act like changewings shed skin that make things behind it completely invisible but on the other side once could see through it. (AN: Like a two-way mirror but instead of a reflective side it makes the things invisible.) Now this was a material that I knew was going to helpful in the construction of hidden outposts, small guard houses and of course automatons made for traps, which I'd already been working on designs for. Unfortunately, when my dad found out about it, he pretty much demanded I start mass producing the stuff so the builders of Berk could begin using it to rebuild the guard posts on Berk. He'd pestered me for a large supply of the stuff which was a true headache until my mom decided to intervene at the request of my wives, so he wasn't bothering me as much.

Along with this there are then my two fire salamanders who'd made up their own nests in one of the openings in the wall of my volcano where they slept. During the first few days I'd spend hours with them, swimming in the lava and bonding with both of them and found them to be pleasant company in the magma. Damen wasn't as fond of them at first but after I was able to help them settle in a bit more, he came to accept their company as long as they stayed away from the tree. Once I knew they had been fully trained and accepted me I'd given them their names, Infernus for the male and Ember for the female and I could tell they liked their new names.

Other than that, things had been rather peaceful but earlier this morning I was checking up on my dragons in the various nests which is when things went from going well to me worrying. I was checking Arctic who had grown to the point that he could now help out the other bewilderbeasts with their various duties which is when I found Lumie. He's grown since when he first hatched from his egg to the point, he was the size of a rhino but now he didn't seem to be doing well at all and this worried me. This led to me sitting in my library going through scroll after scroll and every book left by Bork the Bold hoping it might provide me with the answer as to what's happening to my dragon. After an hour of research, I was finally able to find what I was looking for which was notes on the Luminescent krayfins, their development and their dietary habits.

From these notes I learnt that when an adolescent krayfin reaches a certain age their parents take them to an island that is home to a rare species of flower known as 'The dragon bloom'. This flower is mostly avoided by dragons due to the smell being repulsive to all species except for the krayfins who find the scent appealing. Sadly, it is so rare it only grows in one place, a cave on an island that is known as 'Impossible Island' and according to Borks notes this place is filled with traps that were created by people who wanted to both protect the flower and the dragons that used it.

I informed the girls about what was happening and although they weren't happy, I was going to be going on another dangerous adventure they understood it was for Lumie's sake. They couldn't accompany us though as Astrid was helping train the riders while Blanca was helping Verta train the snake guardians to help make them stronger. They were hoping that by helping their fellow snake guardians become more powerful they would also be able to obtain human form meaning they'd be able to help out on spy missions since they won't be so easily spotted. Now I was on my ship with Lumie lying next to me as I was keeled down next to him rubbing his head and comforting him since he was in a lot of pain.

I looked ahead and saw the island that was mostly made of stone and knew this to be the island where we could find the dragon bloom and willed my ship faster. As we got closer though I noticed Lumie was getting a little more eager and energetic as we got closer to the island and this was something that made me smile as I'd been worried about him. When we were about three ships away from the island though he immediately took off towards the island himself as I smiled since this was the first time, I'd seen him fly in a while.

Ten minutes later

It's been ten minutes since I docked my ship on the island and two minutes since I found the giant water filled cove that held multiple human made things. To begin with there are several archways that resemble the ones holding the statue of the eruptodon statue on defenders of the wing island. On top of one of these archways was a half shape circle with two large eyes and six triangular spikes sticking out of it almost looking like a sun rising so it resembled the decoration on top of Mala's throne and the defenders of the wing's great hall at the beginning of a path leading down. This path leads to a huge volcano shaped building with glowing red crystals at the top while the entrance of it was a lot more decorated than the rest of the building. To begin with the front part was designed to look like a mountain with a waterfall coming down, either side into a pool that was placed at the entrance sides. The entrance itself was a large metal gate with a stone eruptadon head with wings on either side of it and a lot of plants like leafy vines growing on the sides of it.

Behind this building was a large pit full of water with three sea stacks lined up with a piece of a gear bridge on each one facing away from each other so nobody could cross it. I could tell when they were all lined up, they would lead to the large cave entrance on the other side of the cove that was not difficult to spot. Above this entrance was a giant four-winged eruptodon statue with a six spiked crown that was made of gold on its head, a bowl of oil in the mouth to light up, most likely to scare away any wild dragons. On either side of this statue on lower ledges were smaller regular eruptodon statues. Now I would have just glided to the other side using my wings, but the air currents were too strong and would mess up my landing even if I folded my wings and dived towards the edge.

All of this brings us to now with me working on the lock to the building as Lumie had flown into it triggering a trap closing the gate behind him leaving him trapped in the building and I could tell he was scared. I just gave him a reassuring smile and continued working on the locking mechanism which I had to admit was pretty advanced, so I was having a little trouble. I would have cut through it with my star sword or melted through it with my acid, but this was a tricky lock and the last thing I wanted was to trigger another trap. It was then I was finally able to pick the lock and open the door but the second I did Lumie flew out and tackled me and nuzzled me while I chuckled and pushed him off while saying.

"I'm happy to see you to pal but don't run off like that again since some of the traps might be lethal." He just crooned and leaned into my arms while I rubbed it down before pushing him away and then making my way into the building. "Now let's see what this building has inside it." I walked in and got to work.

5 hours later

It's been five hours since I entered the building and a way to describe that hour would have to be is one big headache as it had been one riddle after another. To begin with when I first entered the building, I found a puzzle imbedded in the wall that I had to solve before the wall was pushed back revealing another puzzle I had to solve. When this one was solved not only was the wall pushed back to reveal a spiral path down to the lower levels, but two parts of the bridge were pushed up on either end from the water. I went down this path to discover another puzzle in the support beam in the center of the building that resembled a cage and once it was solved the boulder in the middle of the beam was dropped to down lowering a floor leading me down another path. I then repeated this again and the result was the same except this time when I walked down the path I unlocked I found myself in a room with a large gate door in the pillar that had an eruptadon seal on it. I was easily able to solve that puzzle both opening the gate and activating a mechanism for the bridge forcing two of the bridge pieces to turn leaving only one more to turn before I could get across.

After that I entered the cage and was lowered down by the platform into a labyrinth where I had to run through pouring water and memorize the symbols on the floor. When I reached the end, I was in a room with a large pool that had multiple platforms with the symbols on them and if I hopped on the wrong one it would turn over, throwing me into the water. Fortunately, I remembered the order in which they went and got it right the second time before I found myself in a hall of rooms that I assumed was the treasury due to all the treasures and artefacts in it. I was quick to gather them all up into my spiderpack since I figured the defenders of the wing might want them back since they might have been lost down here centuries ago and they would probably be happy to have them back.

When I left that room, I found myself in a room that was full of waterfalls coming down from the mouths of stone dragons and bridge running all over the place. I quickly found another puzzle and after completing it the mouths closed stopping the water from coming out so the water that had gathered below the bridge quickly drained. When it was completely drained, and I was able to reach the ground I found another puzzle in which I had to move some statues around to open a trap door leading to the next room while also completing the bridge. Sadly, it was in this room I fell for one of the traps and into a room full of Flame whipper dragons who were not happy that me and Lumie had crashed into their home and scared their young. I was fortunately able to use my calming flute to calm them down enough to let us go before I had to chop my way through intense vegetation using my axe and found myself back in the cove.

From there I made my way across the bridge to the door where I discovered a message from surprisingly 'Hamish the second' of Berk explaining that to open the door I'd need a key to open the door. Unfortunately for me, this key was hidden in what was now the ship graveyard that is full of giant screaming eels who would love to make a meal out of me. Luckily, I placed a portal door on one of the sea stacks last time I was there so getting there didn't take long and after electrifying the water I didn't have too much trouble with the eels while me and Lumie searched the wreckages. We eventually found the key hidden in a sunken shipwreck that used to belong to the Hamish's, so we were able to open the gate after solving another puzzle.

The room I entered had a cage on either side of the gate with a large stone door across from it with stairs leading up to it and an opening on the left side with stone dragon heads above them. Before I could fully explore the room though the flame whippers came back angrier than ever but I noticed they seemed to be afraid of the statue so I used my arm to ignite the oil in the mouth which succeeded in scaring them off. When that was done, I went through the entrance on the left and ended up in a labyrinth of platforms which I had to jump around on to advance through the maze. Eventually I found myself in a section where I was forced to use my Merrow cap to dive down below the water to advance into the final part of the maze where I finally found the dragon bloom which brings us to now. With me looking around at the tapestries that decorated the room while Lumie hopped around the flower that was taller than me and baring fruits from its bud that reeked bad.

I stroked my chin in thought as I examined the tapestries realizing that they were telling the story of the dragon bloom and how it helped Lumie's species grow. I didn't like the part where it said this would take a lot of time as it meant I'd have to leave Lumie here while he grows up stronger than ever into adulthood. Knowing I had no choice I turned to my luminescent krayfin who looked at me growling happily before I gave him a sad smile and walked up to him and rubbed his head making him croon as I said.

"I guess this is goodbye for now pal." He crooned sadly and tilted his head in confusion. "You need to eat the fruit from this flower on a daily basis and I can't stay in this cave for long since the fumes can become toxic after a while." He just let out a silent cry as I hugged his head. "This isn't goodbye forever pal, just goodbye for now until your body has had its fill of the fruit allowing it to fully mature and when it does you can return to the island where all your friends and I will be waiting for you." He just growled and nodded as I pulled away. "Let me get you the first one of your fruits." I released my rotating blade and launched it at the flower buds severing the stem on one of them making it fall to the ground and crack open releasing a horrible smell. "I'll see you later Lumie." I backed away from the fruit as he began eating it. "I've got to get out of here before the smell knocks me out."

I ran up to a wall that had a door at the top but the stairs leading up to it had become rubble so I had to use my prosthetic arm to get up to the doorway by launching my hand up like a grappling hook. I pulled the chain back into my arm and pulled my body up to it before I made my way down the tunnel coming to a man-made tunnel that was surprisingly round like a goblet. Before I could study it though the sound of something big sounded from behind me and I turned to see a giant stone ball rolling down towards me. I gasped as I activated my ox flame boots speed mode and took off down the tunnel to avoid being crushed by the large ball that would no doubt flatten me.

Fortunately, I found an opening into a passageway on the left side and ran into it avoiding the ball as I smiled while taking a breath and watched the boulder passed by. I took a breath and made my way down the passage finding a few more man-made halls until I came to another round shaped hallway just as a passing boulder rolled by. I waited a few seconds before another one rolled by showing that I needed to time things right or I'd be crushed by the boulder that passes by. When the next boulder past I activated my ox flame boots speed mode and rushed after the boulder, staying close to the back of it until I reached another opening in the wall that leads to another tunnel. I took a breath and made my way down the tunnel while hoping it led to an exit to this place so I could go home and enjoy a well-deserved rest after getting a headache from all these puzzles and riddles.

It was then I came to a room full of geysers and smiled while once again activating my ox flame boots and rushed through the room avoiding all the geysers until I reached the end. I looked back at the room and smiled before walking forward into the next room that was a dead end with a stone platform that had an eruptadon engraved on it. I walked onto the platform and felt it begin to shake beneath my feet making me a little nervous until the platform began to rise, lifted by the geyser that was beneath it. I did my best to stand steady on the shaky platform before looking up expecting to see a roof but smiled seeing the blue sky instead of a stone ceiling. When I reached the top, I hopped off the platform quickly and smiled when I looked around and saw that I was now outside on the surface of the island again. I quickly got off the platform and made my way towards the edge of the cove and looked down at it as I said.

"A major headache but to help one of my dragons it was worth it." I sighed. "I just hope he'll be alright." With that said I turned away from the cove and began making my way to the side of the mountain where I set up a portal door so I could go home and relieve myself of this headache and drop off the artifacts belonging to the Defenders of the wing at a later time since for now I just need some peace and quiet.

AN: I know this chapter isn't too exciting, but it's finally done, and I know some of you are wondering what took so long and why I chose to do the Krayfin adventure from the game 'school of dragons'. To answer the first question the Microsoft on my computer at work which I usually use to write between jobs has been out of order so I couldn't write, and this was followed by a family weekend getaway so even less time to write. Along with this I've been needing to prepare for my families trip to Cyprus which we leave for next Thursday so updates will take some time until we get back in October so you'll have to be patient during that time. Now as for the next question, I just felt it was time for Lumie to grow up a bit as it might come in handy in the future at some point. Anyway, I'd like to thank my pals Rogue Deity Master and Red Dragon Emperor for all their help in writing this chapter and all the past ones so thanks guys. By the way I've been receiving some PM's asking if the 200th chapter will be HTTYD 3, the answer is no it won't but something interesting will happen in it that has the fait of not only Hiccup but all nine realms hanging in the balance so nothing too big. Anyway, remember to review kindly and until next time stay safe and have a lovely day.
