Chapter 244

Hiccups POV:

It's been five days since I arrived back on my island and as anyone could guess, everybody was overjoyed that I'd returned in one piece and as anyone could guess, everyone was dying to know what happened to me in Japan. I ended up being dragged into the great hall with everyone following me so I could begin showing them my adventure which was followed by a demonstration of my new gifts' abilities. For a while it was good, and I thought I'd be able to make it a short visit but then Spitelout then had to open his big mouth and demanded to know how a chain could be used as a weapon. I then had to spend an hour of my time demonstrating how a chain could be used for protection, defense and offence on various practice dummies, barrels and the occasional log. This led to me being challenged by multiple Viking warriors who wanted to really test their skills with their chosen weapons and my skill with chains. As expected, I had no trouble beating the men but I did learn of a new ability of my chains in which the links separate and fly out in multiple directions with enough force to pierce through stone and dent metal except for the bottom chain that remained in my skin as a link to the others. When I first found this skill I was impressed, everyone else was amazed and Gobber was annoyed as one of the links hit his wooden leg and shattered it, making him fall over. Along with this the girls liked the chains on my arms when they were in tattoo form since as Astrid put it, it made me look more tough which is how they liked me to look.

It took an entire day before I was able to go home and help the nibi settle into the various habitats that best suited their elements which wasn't difficult considering the various environments of my island. The bird however vanished into the forest before my wolves called home before I could even try and find it a suitable place to nest for the evening. Once that was done, I was able to go and take a bath before dinner and enjoy some peace and quiet without the need to worry about anything and lost track of time. Blanca had to come and get me to let me know dinner was ready and I was treated to a feast of all my favorite foods to welcome me back home and to show they were glad I was back safely. During dinner I learnt that things had been pretty peaceful on the island with nothing big happening except for Brant pushing himself harder than before in case something happened to me and some changes in Toothless' behavior.

When I heard about a change in my dragons' behavior I was worried at first until the girls went onto explain that he'd been busy trying to get the hang of his new armor by training hard which had turned him into a bit of a showoff in front of the female furies. It's from his training though that he learnt his physical speed and strength increased as did the power and number of the plasma blasts that he launches being strong enough to destroy a bolder and the number being unlimited. As for new abilities the armor grants him, he can make ten gold projections of himself that form up on either side of him and mirror his actions which includes blasts so it was the same as Toothless being able to launch multiple blasts at once. It wasn't all about attacking though since there was also an ability that would make things a lot easier when it comes to traveling without drawing too much attention. This ability is like my ice wolf and aquatic armors ability to return into the buckles on my belt, except his was armor was able to pull into the saddle on his back and come out when needed.

Anyway, after dinner I got to spend some quiet time in the library for a little quiet reading with Chara joining me to read one of the children's books she got from school. The little lady fell asleep against my side half an hour into it which is when I tucked her in and went to get a little sleep myself, but my wives had other ideas. As usual they wanted to both welcome me back and congratulate me on yet another victory against the forces of evil, so I didn't get to sleep for another three hours but I wasn't complaining in the least. When the girls finally fell asleep, I made a vow to Odin that I was not going on any more adventures for a while and instead would spend the time just enjoying some down time. Maybe go back to Japan but this time, no yokai, no demons and no fights, just me and my family enjoying a bit of down time, enjoying the palace I had down there and maybe find some towns where some festivals were taking place to treat my family. I also figured I'd spend some time with my dad doing some chiefly duties since I would need the practice for when he retires one day, take some flights on Toothless, spend some time with my family and I still had to plans for the bazaar.

The following morning, I had a delicious breakfast before I got to work on sorting out the items I'd brought back with me from my latest trip, sending the treasures down to the vault, sorting out the artwork I brought back and of course, dealing with my gifts from the gods. The katana was easy to deal with since I just needed to choose a place where to place it after running some tests on it which allowed me to learn it could easily cut through gronkle iron and send out flying slashes made of wind that could do the same. After learning that, I decided the best place to put my katana was above the fireplace in my private study where it would be both safe and in within reach if it's needed in the future.

Then came the orb with the dragon made of fire that I took into my forge and gently placed in the pool of lava that I used to melt and heat up the metals I used. At first nothing happened but then the lava began to bubble and then it actually began to rise up and spill out onto the floor pulling in all that it passed which was everything as it spread out before piling up against the wall to take the form of something that covered the entire room. I couldn't tell what it was forming though until the lava hardened to reveal the forge was now a bronze dragon's head while the walls had become its serpent like body winded up to the ceiling with it intertwining with the bodies of a silver dragon and a gold dragon. The heads of the other two were also up against the walls with the three each being up against one of the three walls making the forge look nothing like it was before.

The maw of each of the dragons opened to reveal different things within each of them but from my position in the middle of the room I couldn't get a good look. I kept my guard up and walked into the bronze dragons muzzle and found a small pool of lava at the back with forging tools in the back of each of the top fangs and a single anvil in the middle with a metal tank of water that reached my waist in height on the right. I examined the forging tools that were hung up and saw that they were the ones I normally used but they were giving off a different feel now and when I pushed down on the top of one of the bottoms fangs the back fell open to reveal it was a container that held chunks of metal. I pushed it closed and tried another one and found it filled with leather straps so it was clear to me that each of the bottom fangs held materials for forging. This showed that this dragon was clearly the forge of the place but it made me wonder what the other two dragons were for if this dragon was to be used to forge the items.

Knowing I wouldn't know by staying in the muzzle of the brown dragon and left to check out what was in the silver dragons' maw but what I saw confused me since all I found was a large silver plate, suspended in midair by a chain holding onto each corner on both the top and bottom of it with the other ends being imbedded in the fangs. I left the dragons maw and decided to check out the golden dragon's maw hoping what it had would be easier to understand than the silver dragon but sadly it didn't make any sense either. What I found was a golden altar that reached my waist in height and was slightly longer than a spear and a golden door at the back of its throat with a slot that looked like it was for my stone of good fortune. I figured I could check the door out later and hopefully come up with some sort of idea as to what these different dragons were used for. When I walked out though I found a metal plate in the middle of the floor and picked it up and read.

Hiccup

This is a gift from the dragons' forge, a new forge that shall allow you to create weapons of great power but know that the weapons shall choose their wielder and once they have no one else shall be able to wield them. In order to forge the items though you must use the tools within the top fangs of the bronze dragons' mouth and the materials offered within the bottom fangs otherwise they shall just be ordinary weapons. As for how the weapons are able to gain their magic and abilities, it all depends on what type of materials you use and what magic the forge chooses to imbue them with once they have been built.

Once the weapon is built take it to the silver dragon, place it upon the silver plate and the magic shall be infused into it, giving it the finishing details but once the weapon has completely absorbed the magic, it shall undergo a transformation to reveal the power within it however it shall still be your work. It will then allow you to carry it into the mouth of the golden dragon where you must place it upon the altar which shall then pull it in, sending it to the storage where the weapons shall await their wielder. As the master of the forge, you alone can allow entry into this room to those you deem worthy but you will be free to enter it to admire your work whenever you wish.

The vault already contains the fan I was given to cleanse, since although I have been able to remove all the dark magic infused within it and replaced it with the magic of the forge but like the items you shall forge in the future, it shall only be wielded by one when they are ready. When that time comes, I will give it to them, but I am sorry it is not you and until next we meet, may your hammer always strike the while the metal is hot Hiccup.

The master of the dragons' forge

After that, I took the metal plate and hung it on the wall outside of the forge as a reminder of the dragons' forges generosity and the power my new forge possesses. I didn't get to work with it right away though since I did have other things that I needed to do and besides that, I knew I'd get so pulled into my work that I normally lose track of time and I wanted to spend my time with my family when I was done checking out my other gifts. Still though, while I was examining the forge, I did get ideas for weapons I could make for my parents, the kids and Hadasa since Astrid and Blanca already had special weapons in the form of Blanca's hairpin and Astrid's leopard claw arm bands. It's because of this, I spent a bit of extra time in the forge making weapon designs for future projects, but I knew it would take time to make these items. Along with that knowledge, there is also how Brant and Chara are in no way ready for those kinds of weapons yet and I'd need to figure out what kind of weapon Hadasa would like.

After that I went to my weapons vault to gather up my gear so I could see what the kitsune upgrades could do and after discovering each one, I was not the least bit disappointed. When I first equipped my gear, I took some time to examine how different each of them looked and then went into the training room to see what they could do now starting with my third arm sash. In appearance, it didn't change much other than the claws that were originally made of green jade going from jade green to fire orange and the lining going from night sky blue to orange. It took me a few moments, but I learnt that the claws could now heat up to the point that they could melt through metal if they're pressed down on it for long enough. Along with this, it could also produce a small concentrated flame that I could use for welding in the forge and sealing things up using metal.

Then came my mask with its bandana form now having flame patterns on the bottom edges but its abilities had taken a whole new form with abilities that were going to be helpful in the future. The way it works is my mask looks like it always did but when I activate the new form, the mask only covers the upper half of my face and takes the form of a fox's upper head. This new form is white in color with slit eye holes and red marking in the ears, on the forehead, on the cheeks, underneath the eyes and going down the muzzle, giving it a ghostly look. (AN: Image on pinterest page.) The looks weren't the only thing that changed about the mask though as its powers also got a major boost since I could now track scents that were days old and I could even see events that happened in the place I was investigating so investigations would go by faster.

My leather armor had also gone through some major changes and now had orange kitsune fur lining the inside of it with some sticking out from under of the shoulder pads. Along with this, the projections had gone from light blue to fire orange in color with the curved blades on the shoulders, the tips of them now had small flames on them like candles. As for how the powers were modified, to begin with the projections weren't just solid now, they were burning hot to the point that a single touch would severely burn any who touched it for more than five seconds while the blades on the shoulder could turn to full flames that launch out to be used as both a weapon and to intimidate enemies.

Then there's the scarf which now had flame patterns covering the sides of it which seemed to be constantly moving and flickering which made sense considering its new abilities. To begin with a foot up from the end, it could ignite with heat that's so intense it could melt metal in a matter of seconds so it would come in handy for when I'm destroying enemy siege weapons or need to break through heavy armor. Following this ability, I learnt that the part of my scarf that dangles off my shoulder could now split into nine parts that can be moved around and act as blades so my scarfs defenses and attacks just got a lot deadlier.

Finally, there's my grootslang coat that now has an inner lining that's fire red which I had to admit, looked pretty darn good when it mixed with the black. As for abilities it's gained, they're abilities that will be great for both defending myself and fighting back whether it be large crowds or one on one combat. The first ability was how my coat could now fully ignite itself with the flames covering my entire body which in addition to making it impossible for enemies to grab me, also made me more intimidating to them. In this condition, I'm also able to let out a flaming shockwave that can burn all in its path or at the very least, singe the victims so it would be perfect for when I'm surrounded by foes. Then there's the last ability which will be the most useful when I'm taking cover since when I'm using my coat to shield myself from arrows and other long ranged attacks, I normally kneel and pull my collar up. Now I can sweep the side of my coat to pull the back forward unleashing nine large flaming fox tails that were transparent and they form a dome around me to stop all ranged attacks. These attacks didn't burn up though but instead were pulled into my coat and I could then launch them from the tips of the tails or burst them all from all sides.

All in all, these abilities were powerful and would be helpful in future battles that are no doubt to come but the upgrades weren't the only powerful additions to my life. The nibi who have each been named, made homes in the various environments and were doing their own thing around the island which normally helped the environment in some way but it was mostly so they could practice using their powers.

First there's the male sand nibi who I'd named Saichi, who as anyone could guess, went straight to my Egyptian desert part of the island but I intended for him to join Mirage on her section for the Bazaars. The reason for this is his element allowed him to manipulate the sands and create things from the sands like pillars, statues, walls, blocks that could be used as tables and more. The thing about these sand creations is they may have been made from sand but they were as smooth as glass and as solid as rock meaning they could be useful during the setup and save some time for the traders. Most days though, he was wondering around the desert, creating various sand constructs that he allows to fall to the ground and I've even caught him practice combat tactics with them.

Following him is the female fire nibi and the male lava nibi who I'd named Homura and Kazan with the both of them taking places in my islands volcano that Damen called home. I couldn't blame them for this though since their chosen elements made the volcano the perfect place for them to call home with its intense heat and their elements being everywhere within. Kazan was busy at first making a place for fire to sleep against the walls of the volcano by having the lava rise up against the wall and harden forming a fifteen-foot-wide, circle shaped nest. Homura then hopped into his new nest and ignited flames within the nest and in a few seconds, the flames filled the entire nest before he had the flames form a dome around his nest showing he liked his privacy. Kazan on the other hand just hopped into the lava and allowed it to pull him below it and I assume he was making his own little nest within it. The two of them would spend their days on the top of the volcano practicing with their elements by having it take various forms and knew they'd be helpful in protecting the island if we were ever attacked since they could launch giant projectiles from on top of the volcano and reach a mile off the island. They could even make various creatures from their elements and then have them do whatever they wanted which I could tell made Damen uneasy since they once did it near the tree that he guarded. I knew that they'd mostly be helping Damen and the others guard the tree which still hadn't bore any fruits and I had to admit that the curiosity about what type of fruit it'd grow was driving me nuts. Sadly, I wasn't going to be able to do anything about it so all I could do was continue to wait and look after the tree in any way I could.

The female ice nibi who I'd named Miyuki, as anyone could guess took up residence in the icy tundra part of the island and had formed a nest, that looked like a large lump of ice with an opening leading into a cave. This nibi would spend his days moving around the icy terrain, making ice in various forms come out of the ground or form in the cold air. She mostly made icicles that she'd then launch at ice targets she had made float in the air before she formed the icicles but her training didn't end there. She'd also make ice golems form out of the ground and attack her to which she would fight back against and would always win against but it helped her keep in shape.

The male earth nibi who I'd named Daichi, on the other hand went to the rocky Indian desert and joined the dust coyotes in continuously patrolling the land for trouble. He also spent his time training with his element like the other nibi and like the other nibi, he was shown to be incredibly powerful when it came to controlling his element. He'd often make large stone pillars burst from the ground, break up and then launching the rubble at things he'd made his targets like other pillars and stone golems he created. Just because his element was earth though, it didn't mean he was the least bit slow though since he'd practice his agility by making large pillars of stone come out and he'd then jump from pillar to pillar at a high speed. He would then dive into the ground and sink into it like a whispering death and speed through the ground, faster than one and could easily form large caverns which is how he made a nest for himself. It was also because of this ability that I decided I'd keep him on dragon island to help out with the mining from time to time since it would speed things up a bit.

There's also female plant nibi who I'd named Mei, who had made her home in the Mayan jungle part and would spend her days making the plants move and do what she wished while also making them blossom and mature. This was not an ability to take lightly though as she could make giant vines burst from the ground and attack with enough force to easily destroy a boulder. It's because of her abilities with plants that I also had her visit my garden and help Hadasa tend to the flower beds and also do the same thing with my crops and those of Berk ensuring good harvests all round and make my dad's life a little easier with the chief needing to ensure we had a good food supply.

The female water nibi who I'd named Ameonna, spends her days in the various rivers and lakes around the island at high speeds while practicing her skills for combat, domestic use and a bit of fun. It was from this I learnt that she could pressurize the water around her and make it fly forward like a thin blast that had no trouble cutting through stone or make a blade like I could with my mystic hook. Along with this, she could also purify water to make it clean and drinkable so I often had her fill up canteens to be put into storage in case something happens and we need a supply of fresh water. She also used the water to capture fish and other sea life by forming a ball of water around them and then lift it out of the water and where I wanted. I also had her make various constructs out of water like animals, shapes and other things to entertain little Chara who loved watching Ameonna do it for training and shouting out what she wanted to see next.

The male metal nibi who I'd named Kane, mostly stays by the forge, armory or the magic mines of the island doing his own thing by helping me get fresh weapons to the armory, organize weapons in the armory or help me mine the minerals. He also helps me make weapons by using his ability to manipulate gronkle iron, iron ore and other non-magical materials like clay without heating them up and he could even fuse them together. After my dad and Gobber found out about his abilities they pretty much begged me to lend him to the forge since he could be used to make weapons and tools to help out around the village.

The male wood nibi who I'd named Itsuki, had taken to living in the forest that my wolves called home and spent his days practicing his skills by controlling the trees and even making them uproot themselves and walk on their roots. He's also able to enter the trees and come out of one of the other ones that's in another part of the forest entirely like I was able to do with my plant prosthetic. I'd often find the kids, riding the wolves to join them in their friendly game of hide and seek between them and Itsuki which normally went on for hours since the sneaky nibi would jump into a tree and move elsewhere when they got close.

As for female wind nibi who I'd named Fuu, she'd spend her days all over the island, flying in the air and commanding the wind from above for training. With her power she had no trouble creating tornadoes and strong winds that could topple a ship over as if they were nothing which would help during battles. She also has an ability that would come in handy during surprise attacks on enemy bases, in which her body can become the wind itself and be as strong as a hurricane or gentle as a breeze. Anyway, with this ability she can easily infiltrate enemy bases and cause all sorts of problems for them through sabotage or attacking them. It wasn't all combat with her powers though since with her wind powers she could make sea travel go a lot smoother and faster by making wind flow into the sails which is why I'd been getting nonstop requests to borrow her from the fishermen.

Finally, there's the male lightning nibi named Denki, who is also the nibi I saw the least of as he preferred to remain at the higher points of the island in order to be closer to the lightning. Sadly, it was because of this that there were large storm clouds hovering over certain parts of my island where lightning would then strike. It was easy to tell that Denki was absorbing the lightning into his body for later use and I wasn't going to complain since my skrills would take this opportunity to absorb their own lightning. As for his abilities, Denki was perfect for long range attacks as he could fly into the clouds and make lightning rain down on any location or anyone he chose with him being able to control the power level of it so it could either stun or kill. All in all, he was one powerful nibi who nobody should mess with if they valued their lives since even touching him will result in a powerful shock.

There's also the bird who I'd named Inazuma before running him through multiple tests and I was impressed to say the least considering what he could do and how helpful it'll be in the future. To begin with, he could phase through solid objects which would make scouting enemy fortress's a whole lot easier since I could send him in and then check out what was happening through the eye of the dragon. This ability of his gave me the idea to build him a small leather bag like the one I gave my eagles to deliver messages but this one would contain my automatons so I could plant them all over the fortress. This would be a task that would be quick to do since Inazuma could fly as fast as Toothless flying at full speed and blend into the shadows like my ninja do so there'd be no chance of him being spotted. As for his combat abilities, he was strong enough to lift a quaken while his talons could easily cut through gronkle iron and had an electric shock that could knock out a gronkle. Along with all this, he could grow to the size of an elephant and then release multiple lightning blasts that could destroy a boulder.

Now I was on the beach of my Hawaiian island section of my island with my family so we could all enjoy a nice quiet afternoon together to enjoy some quality time together. Each of my wives were wearing two-piece swimwear and doing their own thing on the beach but we were all on alert when it came to watching the kids. Toothless was on the beach playing with Twilight, Blanca was in the water with Chara and lifting her up whenever a wave came along, making her giggle as she did so, Astrid was laying down to catch some sun, Hadasa was getting us all some coconuts to drink and I was with Brant in the water, giving him his first surfing lesson. Now I was standing waist deep in the water, holding the oak wood surfboard Brant was on steady with Wave Chomper circling us if something happened. After checking out my boy's stance, I smiled and nodded as I said.

"Alright son, I think you've got the stance right so I'm going to let go of your board and I want you to stand up and try to keep your balance." He nodded.

"Got it dad." I let go and he slowly stood up while shaking a bit before his shaking became a wobble and he fell over into the water, making me chuckle as he got out and spat out some salt water but the annoyance showed on his face.

"Don't worry son, it takes practice but think of your balance training under the ninja." He smiled and nodded.

"Alright!" I helped him back onto the board.

"Now let's try again." He slowly stood up as I let go of the board and this time, he was standing a lot more steadily on the board making me smile. "Alright, you've got your balance and you need to keep this balance when you're travelling on the waves but we'll start you on some smaller waves, closer to shore." He nodded as I began gently pushing the board towards the waves and when we were close enough I gave a gentle push towards them. "Remember what I told you Brant." He nodded and I watched as he slowly tackled the wave but like me on my first time, he fell right off the board making me chuckle and go help him up. "Just like me when I first tried surfing." He smiled at me but the voice of Hadasa brought our attention back to the shores by yelling out.

"WHY DON'T YOU TO SURFER BOYS TAKE A BREAK AND COME JOIN US ON LAND FOR SOME COCONUT MILK?" We turned and saw all the girls on the beach, each with a coconut that had to top cut open and sweet little Chara sitting on Blanca's lap sipping from her coconut making me smile and turned to Brant.

"Come on son, we'll continue the lesson after we have some refreshments." He smiled.

"You won't get any complaints from me, dad." I picked up the board and we made our way to shore where Hadasa gave us each a cut open coconut before I held up my own.

"Here's to a peaceful day at the beach for our little family."

The girls smiled as did the kids before we enjoyed our coconut milk and enjoyed the peace of the beach until the sound of something walking through the plants caught my attention. We all turned to see none other than Moana walking out of the trees to see what's going on making me smile as I said.

"Hey Moana, here to join us for our beach day." She growled and tilted her head making me chuckle. "I'll take that as a yes." She just crooned before Chara let out a squeal of joy and ran up to her saying.

"Yay, I can play with Moana." Twilight wasn't far behind and ran up to join her in playing with Moana as Toothless walked up next to me and crooned in worry for his daughter, but I chuckled and rubbed his head.

"Don't worry bud, I know Moana can be a bit rough at times but she's as gentle as a lamb when it comes to kids." I then gestured to Moana who now had Chara sliding down her back and tail like a slide while Twilight bounced around on her head. "See what I mean." He growled and nodded but kept a close eye on them while I turned to Brant. "Ready to continue with your surfing lesson?" He nodded with a smile.

"All set to go." I smiled and led him back to the water with his board in hand.

1 hour later

I smiled and watched my son surf towards me on the smaller waves close to shore before I stopped the board as he said.

"I think I've finally got it down dad."

"Great work son, now why don't we tackle some of the larger waves." His grin widened. "Just remember, the bigger the wave, the more dangerous it is, and your mothers will kill me if anything happens to you." He chuckled and nodded before I turned to Wave Chomper. "Alright pal, let's go." He turned into his surfboard form before I got onto him. "Alright Brant, let's see what you got." He nodded and we took off.

3 hours later

I was sitting on the back of Wave Chomper in his surfboard form and smiling as I watched Brant take on the waves that I normally took on as if they were nothing. I had to admit, the kid was a fast learner since when I first learnt how to surf, it took me all afternoon to learn how to tackle waves like that and not fall off into the water by accident. Seeing my boy doing so well filled me with so much pride since he'd changed from the scared child I found in the hold of a slave ship who was just trying to protect his baby sister into a confident and skilled young boy who had the makings of a great warrior and possibly a hero. I just hoped the only foes he would have to face would be normal human thugs and only to protect Berk or the island from those who would mean to do the inhabitants harm. With these thoughts going through my mind, I turned back to the beaches to check on my sweet little Chara and chuckled at the sight of her falling backwards off Moana's head and into the arms of Astrid who caught her beneath the arms before spinning her around as she laughed. She looked so much different from the scared child who flinched in fear whenever someone got too close to her and never let go of her stuffed bunny.

I sighed and shook my head while smiling knowing I should never forget my past since it offered many lessons to learn from, but I shouldn't focus too much on it and enjoy the present. With this in mind I turned back to Brant who was now surfing a wave that was as tall as an elephant making me smile and look down at Wave Chomper as I said.

"Come on, let's show him how it's done." As soon as the words left my mouth, we took off to join Brant in enjoying the waves through the fun that is surfing.

Nightfall

It was nightfall and we were all still hanging out on the beach but now there was a large bonfire which we were all sitting around with the kids sitting down, next to each other against Moana with Twilight laying her head on Brant's lap. I on the other hand was laying against Toothless, Blanca on my left, Astrid on my right and Hadasa laying against my chest while we all watched the food cook over the fire. As I lay there in comfort with the sound of the fire crackling and the waves crashing in the ocean, I thought back on today's events between and after Brant's surfing lesson had concluded. We had gotten a visit from my dad who had come by to ask when the next Bazaar would be opening up now that I was back since a lot of the villagers wanted to know and were eager to do business with the traders for new goods. I couldn't blame them for being so eager though since Berk was a village that was built on an island in the middle of nowhere so new things were rare. I told my dad I'd open up the arch tomorrow so the bazaar would open up the following day and hoped this would help him get the people off his back and give the people time to put their items together for the stalls.

I sighed and looked up at the star covered night sky wondering how long this peace would last before another evil comes to threaten the world and I'd be forced to leave my family to go face it. Leaving my family was the most painful part about doing these things though since whenever I went on one of these adventures since I never knew if I'd come back to them or if I'd come back one day and find somethings happened to them. It was then a shooting star flew across the sky and couldn't help but think that I was a little similar to it since like the star, I was always travelling on an adventure that seemed endless and for me that adventure was called my life. It was then I noticed the food was done cooking and gently pushed my wives off me as I said.

"Dinner time." Everybody smiled and got up as I began serving the food knowing that it's times like these that I shouldn't worry and just enjoy my life with those I love.

AN: And that brings an end to this peaceful chapter and with it comes a message to Ducelet who gave me a lot of advice for picking this story up a bit.

The ideas you've pitched are all good but the problem for some of them is it's way too early for them to come as I have ideas that have to come before I can use them but I do appreciate the advice and will be having Hiccup take some time off from adventuring to enjoy his life a bit. Maybe do a bit of chiefing, Island tending, possibly visit some old allies and maybe get into a few bar brawls or possibly start his own business since he's got enough money to do so, while I decide where he should go next.

If anyone here has any ideas on what Hiccup can do during these peaceful times, let me know and I'll see if it can work but until next time, stay safe and have a lovely day.
