Hayley sat in Mesogog's lair and watched as the tryannadrones marched through the space. For the amount of damage that Kim and Tommy had done tonight, there was still a vast army left. If Conner hadn't reached out to warn them, tonight may have defeated them. She had not been able to shake off the red ranger when he had shown up in the Dino Lab to check in and while she wanted Kimberly and Tommy to suffer- she held no ill will for the rest of the rangers. Right now, working with Mesogog was a means to an end.

"They were warned," Zeltrax ranted as Hayley looked over at him and shrugged. "You told us that this would be the best opportunity to take out multiple rangers."

"You had a solid ten minutes before any of the other rangers started helping and twenty before the Dino Thunder rangers showed up because I kept them out. We all underestimated how strong Kim and Tommy actually are. We won't do that again, will we?" Hayley asked as they both stared at her. When she had come to them and proposed this plan, neither of them had been sold that she was actually going to betray her friend. Now it seemed like they were the ones that were not willing to be ruthless enough.

"How did you turn on your friend so easily? With so little…prompting. Smitty here fought like hell to keep me from taking him over, same with Anton. How do we know you won't turn on us too?" Zeltrax asked as Hayley glared at him. Why would they doubt her allegiance? "Smitty remembers you- he's saying this isn't like you. Why should we trust you?"

"Because this is the last time that I'll be second for Tommy Oliver's affections," Hayley ground out as Zeltrax and Mesogog exchanged a glance. Well, that was a motivation that they did not understand, but they would certainly use to their advantage.

"When did you get home?" Kim asked as she rolled over in Tommy's arms and caught him watching her sleep. He reflexively pulled her in closer and she let herself melt into him. While she was definitely sporting some rough injuries this morning, she was sure that Tommy felt worse. "Please don't tell me you just got home."

"No, I crawled into bed around 1 a.m. Which means when your alarm goes off in 15 minutes I'm still not going to want to get out of bed, but we're going to have to," Tommy muttered as he felt her laugh move through his body and he let out a groan. "Easy baby."

"How can you be turned on right now?" Kim remarked as she propped herself up against him and he shrugged.

"You exist. I'm turned on. I know you want some sort of super romantic explanation, but I don't have one this morning," Tommy said as she leaned down and gave him a kiss. "Please don't start something we can't finish."

"We've still got 13 minutes…actually closer to 30 if we move this to the shower," Kim offered as Tommy's face showed his shock as she straddled him and he let out a contented sigh. Everything else could be going to shit in his life, but if he had her it really was a good life. "So…we moving this to the shower?"

"Yeah," Tommy said as he sat up and she shifted her legs around him as he scooted to the edge of the bed and then stood up. Her lips met his as he walked them towards the bathroom and he felt the desperation in her movements. Something about last night had pushed her over the edge, but he wasn't going to take time to figure out what that was right now. Neither of them had time to actually unpack what they were feeling.

She stripped out of her pajamas as he walked them into the shower and her skin pressed into his. He was shocked when she used her heels to push his boxers down and he quickly kicked them off as he turned on the water. The stream of cold water hit them, but it did nothing to drive them apart. He met her desperation with his own as he pushed her back against the tile and she leaned down to kiss his neck.

"We'll have to be…quiet," Kim forced out as she slid down his body and turned her back to him. He grasped her breasts and she arched back into him. She heard a knock on the bedroom door and felt Tommy quickly jump out of the shower to double check the bathroom lock before he returned to her.

"We're not getting interrupted again," Tommy muttered as she smiled up at him and he then picked her back up. "We'll have to do that other position later though- there is zero way we'll both be quiet and at least like this…well…I can muffle your screams."

"Who said I'd be the only one screaming," Kim whispered against his lips as he thrust into her and kissed her at the same time. The mutual moan was enough to let her know that she wasn't the only one teetering on the edge this morning and she was just reckless enough to let them drive over it.

"Why don't you let us clean this up? I know you need to run home and get some things and…" Trini trailed off as she looked between Kim and Tommy. They had been trying to figure out a way to discreetly give the two of them time to unpack what happened yesterday. "We'll meet you back at Kim's apartment for dinner."

"You don't have to convince me, but I'm not sure that Kim is going to let you put the dojo back together though. She's done a lot of rearranging to make our lives easier and…" Tommy trailed off as Kim continued to direct the guys on where to put things. "I could just run and get what I need."

"Until we know your home is secure, you're not going home alone," Aisha said as Tommy glared at her as she crossed her arms and glared back at him. Tommy was so used to just being able to move about that they knew this was going to be hard for him. "We know. You can handle anything that comes at you, but it's not just you anymore Tommy. Throwing yourself into dangerous situations, without cause, is stupid."

"Fine, but only because it's a good point," Tommy said as he let out a sigh and then started weaving his way through the crowd in the dojo to get to Kim.

"Thanks for the back up," Trini said as Aisha gave her a smile and a quick hug.

"Those two need time by themselves," Aisha said as Kat nodded her head in agreement. "We are just asking for them to screw each other senseless if we arrange it though."

"I'm not sure that would be such a bad thing at this point," Rocky said as he put an arm around her and she just shook her head. "They're happy. I know the Hayley thing is a bit of a downer- but when was the last time you can say we've seen Tommy like that?"

They watched as Tommy slid his arms around Kim and pulled her back to him as he whispered something in her ear. An easy smile played on his face as Kim leaned into him and he must have said some sort of joke as she laughed and then batted his hands away. He spun her around in his arms and they watched how carefree the both of them looked with each other. It wasn't just Tommy who was insanely happy right now and that hit all of them as a surprise. There had been a time when they had both been like this before, but that was so long ago that they'd all forgotten what this looked like.

"Before she left the first time," Kat whispered as she just shook her head. "Why did any of us ever try to date him?"

"I mean- he tried to date people too. It's not like you threw yourself at him," Adam said as Kat watched him for a moment before nodding. He definitely had a point, at least when it came to her. "I imagine it's hard to watch though if you still care about him."

"Yeah. Yeah I think that would be hard," Kat said as they all realized that she had been through that experience, even if she hadn't seen Tommy happy at that time. At that time, she had seen him care about Kimberly in a way that she knew he would never care for her, no matter how hard she tried. They had all seen it. "They've been broken up for years though. I got to watch it happen right in front of me and there was nothing I could do to stop it."
