Author's Note:

It's time for everyone's favorite part of the story...answering guest reviews! (For some of you, maybe.) Let's see what we got today...

"So is Apollo Justice gonna take over since Phoenix Wright lost his job? Can you have Firebrand from Ghosts n Goblins show up and cause trouble? (He starred in a few games of his own like Gargoyle's Quest and Demon's Crest) has Leaf (Female Pokemon Trainer) shown up yet? Will any other Tekken characters become Smash Mansion residents? And finally, what are your thoughts on Persona 5 getting the Dynasty Warriors treatment for the Switch?"

Yes he will. Perhaps. Leaf is in this story - we haven't seen her since chapter 167. Not that keen on making Tekken characters mansion residents. And I'm a bit neutral on the Persona 5 game for the Switch. On to Derick Lindsey:

"this might be too late but down the line do you think you can do this again only instead of super hero costumes it's wrestling gear so they have to cosplay as WWE stars?"

Probably not - an idea like that would be too hard to execute, in my opinion. Or maybe it isn't, and I'm just kidding myself. And last but not least, PinkRosr4452, with mostly Persona questions:

"1. Are you going to make a Animal Crossing for the Nintendo Switch chapter?
2. What are your thoughts on Persona 5 Royal and Persona 5 Scramble? Also, are you glad that we are at least getting a Persona game on the Switch? I know that people are disappointed that this is not the Persona 5 game that they want on the Switch.

3. What are your thoughts on Kasumi? Will she make an appearance later in November sometime? Also, will she become a resident, since she's part of the Phantom Thevies?
4. What are your thoughts on Human Morgana? Also, will we later see Morgana in his human form?
5. Will Yu, Teddie, and Minato (The Persona 3 Protagonist name in the manga) become residents of the smash mansion, because they are mii costumes in Ultimate?
6. Are you going to make a Persona 5 Royal chapter?"

1. Definitely! 100%!
2. Neutral on Scramble, but intrigued by Royal. Especially the new character, Kasumi.
3. Speaking of Kasumi, I'm starting to like her. She'll be a resident when Royal gets released in Japan. She's more deserving of being a resident than other people I know. (*cough* Akechi *cough*)
4. I'm slightly iffy on Human Morgana...that being said, he's staying a cat no matter what.
5. Yu and Minato will be in this chapter, and Teddie...eh.
6. Same as the answer to the first question.

Episode 176: Snitches

Mutoh and the Carpenters have built many things for Master Hand. First they built Mario's house. Then they built the houses of Mario's neighbors. Then there was that time they built a sprinkling system for the mansion...though that was more of Giovanni's doing than anything.

But today, or rather throughout the entire week, the Carpenters were faced with their biggest challenge yet, at the mansion...building a bridge that would connect the mansion to the tower. Said bridge would allow easier access, for someone to go from the mansion to the tower and vice versa without having to go out through the front door. Very efficient thinking on Master Hand's part.

Last Saturday, Master Hand brought Mutoh over to the mansion, to show him the ground plan for his bridge, and Mutoh was more than quick to oblige. Mutoh would bring his Carpenter buddies to the mansion the very next day, so they could get started on the bridge. Their hard work would soon pay off, as the bridge was almost completed.

"Keep on working boys, just a couple more feet to go!" Mutoh said to the Carpenters, who were working their butts off as they were building the timber bridge. The bridge was connected to the third floor of both the tower and the mansion. Perfect placement.

"Boss, don't you think we should have a clear roof over this bridge?" asked Ichiro, knowing full and well that Mutoh will put him on blast. He was always expecting it. "Like, what if it's raining outside, and someone doesn't like getting wet?"

"You trying to say that the residents from the mansion and the tower are all sissies? Have you no respect for them, Ichiro?!" Mutoh gave Ichiro a mean look, putting some fear and intimidation into his eye.

"Forget that I ever said anything..." Ichiro calmly resumed his work, as he continued building away on the bridge. Mutoh quickly returned to standing on the almost-finished bridge, folding his arms. He was a real G, when it came to not doing actual work.

As Mutoh continued to stand there, a certain purple dragon approached the Carpenter, with a steel pan tray containing water bottles tied to his back. Mutoh looked down, and saw Spyro next to his feet.

"Need some more water, Mutoh?" Spyro asked the Carpenter, who grinned when he saw the water bottles in sight.

"Sure do, thanks dragon boy!" grinned Mutoh, grabbing a water bottle before opening it and pouring its contents down his mouth. Come on now, Mutoh, you can't be that exhausted. You're hardly even doing anything!

"Just lemme know if you need any more refreshments." Spyro would walk away, as Mutoh dropped his empty water bottle unto the bridge. Bridge wasn't completed yet, and someone was already littering on it...

Spyro: Master Hand eventually found out that we were working for Bowser, and so he has us serving as the Carpenters' waterboys as punishment. Bowser, I got no idea what he's doing. Honestly I couldn't care less about delivering refreshments and whatnot, but the others haven't really treated this labor well...

Lucario: Heh...guess you could say I dodged a major bullet, didn't I? Granted giving water to Mutoh and his boys doesn't sound that bad, but it would look bad in retrospect if I was doing someone like Bowser a solid.

Spyro returned to the end of the bridge, at the middle balcony of the tower, where Bowser's lackeys from the previous episode were present - Sonic, Yoshi, Slippy, Hunter, and Polar Bear. The five were ordered to remain at this spot, and do nothing but give the Carpenters food and water and whatnot. Leaving the spot would result in severe punishment.

"Man, this absolutely stinks!" frowned Sonic, seating in a lawn chair, as he grabbed the nearest water bottle and threw it unto the floor in anger. "Why are we forced to do this crap?!"

"Because we all helped out Bowser with gathering Infinity Stones," stated Polar, before taking a sip from a cup of soda he had prepared in advance. "Presumably fake Infinity Stones, since they were apparently only an aesthetic."

"But if they were only an 'aesthetic', then why did Bowser make us go through all the trouble of finding them? Bowser might know something that the hands don't."

"Eh, I seriously doubt it," said Yoshi, who knew that he made a very bad decision in the last episode. "Just let it go already, Sonic!"

"But you know what upsets me the most?" Sonic got off of his chair and stood on one of the tables on the balcony, as everyone else gave him their attention. "We were ratted out, by Peppy! He snitched on us!"

"Blasphemy!" objected Slippy, sticking up for his Star Fox buddy. Sonic looked at the frog, distraught. "Peppy would never be a snitch!"

"Like you know anything, you kiss-up...did you not see Peppy walk into Master Hand's room, last Friday? Did that not raise any suspicions? Peppy snitched on all of us, I'm telling you!"

"We don't know that! Maybe Peppy just wanted to discuss the Endgame movie, with Master Hand. Considering Master Hand has all the spoilers. Besides, how do we know that someone among us is the real snitch?"

That got Sonic and the others thinking, as everyone looked at one another with doubting eyes. What if there really was a snitch among them, on the balcony?

"You might be right, Slippy..." said Sonic, as he nodded his head in thought. "Perhaps, that snitch...is YOU!" Sonic pointed at Slippy, who got nervous on the spot.

"Wh-Why me, why would I be the snitch?!" questioned Slippy, as the power of Sonic's accusing finger was enough to make Slippy shiver and nearly wet himself. "I was just making a point!"

"Exactly, you're using reverse psychology to distract us from the fact that you're the real snitch. Your methods won't work on us!"

"Woah, woah, fellas, take it easy!" said Hunter, trying to play peacemaker as he got in-between Sonic and Slippy. "How about we just finish our duties on the bridge, and then go see if Peppy is really the snitch?"

"And what if he isn't the snitch, what will we do then?" asked Spyro, who couldn't believe that he would have to be a part of this witch hunt. Gotta follow his friend around, to keep him from trouble.

"Then Slippy will be proven right, and Sonic will have to admit he's wrong. Then we can just go from there!"

Hunter: I'm not ready to denounce Peppy, as a snitch. I'm not ready to denounce Slippy, as a snitch! I just wanna get this whole thing over with, so I can go back to Mario's place and play one-person hot potato with Jennifer. *pauses* ...extremely safe one-person hot potato, I might add.

Buddy cops Toon Link and Young Link were always on-duty, as they patrolled the entire mansion for any potential criminals. They came across a criminal right now, as they were interrogating...Piranha Plant, who was situated in front of the buddy cops' office.

"State your business, maggot!" Toon Link shouted at the Piranha Plant, who did not respond. Toon Link gasped in horror. "He's giving us the silent treatment..."

"The absolute madman..." Young Link shook his head, almost nearly at a loss for words. "...looks like we'll just have to make him speak!" Young Link whipped out his boomerang, and Toon Link would do the same.

"Piranha Plant, either you move out of our way, or we'll have to use force!" The buddy cops pointed their boomerangs at Piranha Plant, who appeared unfazed. The plant just looked at the buddy cops, before hopping away in his flower pot.

"Yes, we did it, it worked!" Young Link cheered, as he exchanged a high-five with Toon Link. "For a moment there, I thought we'd have to resort to drastic measures, and t-pose over the plant. Would've made him cream his pants."

"You too think Piranha Plant wears pants? It's getting almost scary how alike we think. Something tells me we hang out with each other TOO much..." Toon Link grabbed the door handle, and opened the door to the office...

...where they saw Link and Cloud, going through the buddy cops stuff. Looking through the drawers and everything. The buddy cops watched this with shocked faces, before whipping out their bows and arrows.

"FREEZE!" shouted Toon Link, as Link and Cloud stopped what they were doing and saw the buddy cops. Link and Cloud held their hands up in the air, not wishing to start any trouble.

"See Link, told you Piranha Plant would suck guarding the door," Cloud told Link; the swordsman was already having second regrets, trashing the buddy cops' office.

"Petey would've eaten those boys alive!" retorted Link, confident that he made the right choice. "I was just looking looking out for those two."

"Silence, you two!" barked Young Link, as Link and Cloud looked at the buddy cops. "State your business in our office!"

"We were just..." started Link, before Toon Link fired an arrow at the Hylian and struck him in the leg. "...ouch!"

"Are you hard of hearing?" frowned Toon Link, as Link nearly got down on one knee. "Hutch here clearly told you to be silent."

"But how are we supposed to..." asked Cloud, before he too got shot in the leg by Toon Link. Unlike Link, Cloud just took the pain.

"Silence. No talking, no lips moving. Just explain to us what you were doing in our office...through interpretive dancing."

Link and Cloud both looked at each other, with the same bewildered look on their face, before eventually sucking it up. Link started first, as he got back on his feet and lifted his leg up in the air, while moving his arms about. Cloud, who wasn't that experienced with dancing, did some sort of awkward matrix...

"Okay you two, just stop it," ordered Toon Link, having seen enough, as Link and Cloud stopped their interpretive dancing...or at least what they considered interpretive dancing. "Tell us why you're here."

"Link is scared because he saw apparently Zant around town," explained Cloud - the name Zant struck a major chord in both Toon Link and Young Link. "So he wanted to come here, and dig up your weapons so he could stop him."

"Z-Z-Zant is in town?" stuttered Young Link, who knew what Zant was all about. He has heard plenty of stories about him. "Where at?"

"Saw him up in the sky at the park, when I was with Zelda. Tried to warn Zelda, but she called me delusional and thought I was seeing things. I was too scared at the moment to realize the irony."

Link: He was floating right there, RIGHT THERE, up in the sky. Thankfully he didn't send out any Twilight Monsters, but I would've been unprepared if he did. Left my sword and shield back at the mansion. Bad things always go down when I go out for casual days around town...I personally blame Zelda. She must be the harbinger of trouble.

"Link wants to be readily equipped, so he can take on Zant," Cloud continued, as the buddy cops were still scared about the idea of Zant in Seattle. Any villain in town was no laughing matter.

"Zant in town is very discontenting..." remarked Toon Link, holding his hand underneath his chin. "...though that gives you no reason to just go through our stuff, without permission. But you know what?"

"You're gonna let me borrow your weapons and stuff?" Link asked excitedly, before prematurely celebrating as he turned around and raised his hands in the air. "Oh, thank you, thank you! I promise I won't!"

"Ew, no, whoever said anything about that?" Link's excitement died down, as he lowered his hands. "Hutch and I want you to show us where you found Zant, so we can scout him in the coming days. Or weeks, even."

"Okay, sounds like a fair deal. But, if you see Zant, in full view...you let me borrow your weapons, right?" Toon Link and Young Link exchanged looks with one another, both reluctant to say no.

"We'll...we'll take that into some consideration," replied Young Link, giving Link the kind of answer he wanted.

Wanting to spend a little more time with his neighbors, Mario invited Marth, Olimar, and Pac-Man over to his house to play mahjong. The plumber invited Alm and
Berkut to come over, but neither of them came around.

"Berkut hates mahjong, for whatever reason," Marth told Mario, as the four neighbors played mahjong in the living room. "Alm was supposed to come, but Berkut talked him out of it."

"What did he even tell-a him?" inquired Mario, as he picked up a tile, wondering where to place it on the mahjong board. "That mahjong was a 'common folk' game?"

"No, that mahjong is a game of bad luck. For what it's worth, Berkut said that he's never won at mahjong before. Always gotta take what he says most of the time with a heavy grain of salt..."

"Berkut probably just doesn't know how to play the game," assumed Pac-Man; if he was real, he would say that to Berkut's face. "I mean, I don't know how to play Scrabble! Who knows how long it's been since I picked up a dictionary!"

"And there's your problem..." said Olimar, as Pac-Man looked at the astronaut. "...well excuse me for keeping it real."

Mario and his friendly neighbors continued to play mahjong, when the doorbell sounded. Peach scurried over from the kitchen to the front door, and opened the door to see who it was.

"Hello, Princess Peach," said a man, adorned in a blue suit. It was Phoenix Wright - the confident, cool and collected Phoenix Wright.

"Hello, Mr. Wright!" exclaimed Peach, as Mario and his neighbors stopped playing mahjong and looked at Phoenix. "So good to see you!"

"Didn't expect me to be back so soon, eh?" Phoenix looked past Peach, and saw Mario and company and waved at them with a smile. Mario and company would wave right back. "I just wanted to stop by and tell you and Mario some exciting news."

"Ooh, do tell!" Peach clapped her hands together, easily interested in what news Phoenix had to share. "Did you get your attorney license back?"

"No I didn't, sadly...but two major things happened today that made up for it. My offices, Wright & Co. Law Offices, as been dissolved...and is now Wright Talent Agency!"

"Oh wow! A talent agency?! How very swell! Sounds like you're going to have your very own talent show!"

"In due time, perhaps. But, I wouldn't have made the change if it weren't for this little girl that I adopted..."

A little girl appeared from behind Phoenix, in front of Peach. She was dressed up like a magician - even had on a magician hat to boot.

"Princess Peach, I'd like for you to meet Trucy!" Phoenix introduced the little magician girl to Peach. "Called her in into my office, and adopted her on the spot when I couldn't find her relatives."

Phoenix: Sadly I won't be hanging out much with Maya anymore, now that I lost my attorney license; Maya will be training as a spirit medium in her spare time, I'm sure. But, thankfully I have Trucy around to keep me company. Better not practice her magic on me, if she knows what's good for her...I'm not really much of an authoritarian anyways, so I'd rather have Trucy keep her magic to herself.

"Hi Princess Peach!" Trucy greeted the princess, as Mario looked at Trucy out of intrigue. The plumber got up from his seat, and walked over to the front door.

"Hi Trucy, nice to meet you!" Peach returned the favor, before being startled when she eventually saw Mario standing next to her. Mario was still looking at Trucy, before he looked up at Phoenix.

"...how is this-a even possible?" Mario asked Phoenix, as he pointed at Trucy like she was some kind of alien lifeform. "How old-a even are you, Phoenix?"

"As of today, I am twenty-six years old..." stated Phoenix, wondering why Mario was even asking him this question. "...why do you care so much, Mario? Feeling jealous or something?"

"How can-a you be twenty-six, and be of legal age-a to adopt a child? How old is this girl-a you adopted anyways?"

"I'm only eight years old!" Trucy replied happily, as Mario became even more concerned. He looked around, shaking his head in dismay.

"You know, what about you let me in your house, and I can explain how the adoption went down? Because I think this whole thing is going over your head."

"Just so we're clear, we're not gonna let Phoenix play mahjong with us, right?" Olimar whispered to Marth and Pac-Man, as Mario and Peach invited Phoenix and his adopted daughter into their house. "I'm getting kinda bored of this game."

"Says the man who is currently in the lead," stated Marth, as Olimar looks down at the board and realized that the hero-king was right. The astronaut could do nothing but shrug.

"Eh, winning gets kinda boring when you're playing against scrubs." Olimar's remarks earned him mean looks from Marth and Pac-Man. "...scrubs other than you two, I mean."

For months now, ever since last year, Robin had made every effort to avoid his twins, Morgan and Marc. Nobody knew why the mage wanted to hide from the twins, not even Lucina or Chrom. Whenever he was asked about the twins, Robin would usually play it off by laughing awkwardly...or uncomfortably.

One of Robin's favorite hiding spots away from the twins was the gaming room, where he could relax and have fun and talk with others in peace. The mage was talking with someone right now...Ray, who was chilling with his robot buddies R.O.B. and Chibi-Robo.

"Then I told her, 'Whaddaya mean you're unique, you have no personality!'" Robin said to Ray and company, who were all laughing. Ray had the most natural laugh out of the bunch; R.O.B.'s laugh was too robotic, and Chibi-Robo...well, couldn't laugh at all.

"Ha, must require a lot of stones to tell Lucina that!" giggled Ray, as Robin found himself smiling at the story he had told. "But how did Lucina react?"

"Slapped me in retaliation, which is kinda what I expected. Poor girl couldn't handle the truth. She might never accept the truth."

"Who knows, maybe one day she'll smell the roses..." Ray looked over, and saw Pit enter the gaming room with two identical kids. "...hey Robin, are those your twins, from the future?"

Robin turned around, and feared for the worst when he saw Morgan and Marc enter the gaming room with Pit. The twins didn't see Robin yet, and Robin wanted to ensure that it stayed that way.

"Oh no!" the mage panicked, as he quickly jumped behind the couch he was sitting on for cover. The robot bros watched as Robin moved; it was the fastest that they've seen him move, ever.

"You're not gonna say hi to your kids?" Ray asked Robin, only for the mage to angrily shush him. He looked behind the couch, and saw Pit leading the twins over to Kirby, on the other side of the gaming room.

"Don't tell anyone I'm here..." Robin warned the robot bros, before going back into his hiding spot. That Robin, so stubborn when it came to hiding from his kids...

Chrom: Usually when the twins come over, I ask Robin about what he did to spend time with him. He'll come up with something on the fly, like, "We went kite-flying," or "We rode a bike together," or my personal favorite, "We ran laps around the mansion, to see who's the quickest". That excuse lets me know that Robin is lying...Robin runs so slow, he couldn't even outrun a fat person on a motorized shopping cart.

For the moment, it seemed like Robin was out of dodge; Pit and the twins were too busy talking with Kirby. However, all of that would change, when Knuckles entered the gaming room.

"Yo, has anyone seen Robin anywhere?" asked Knuckles, grabbing the attention of everyone. "That bum owes me twenty bucks!" Certainly the robot bros wouldn't give away Robin's location, right?

"HE'S RIGHT OVER HERE...HIDING BEHIND THE COUCH..." replied R.O.B., as it pointed at the couch Robin was hiding behind. Acting fast, Robin quickly ran behind the golf simulator stand, making sure the twins didn't notice him.

"Oh he is, isn't he?" Knuckles angrily marched over to the couch, only to be left empty-handed when he saw Robin nowhere to be found. "Must've ran away, huh? Or maybe he used some spell to make himself invisible! Might be sitting here right now!"

Convinced that Robin was invisible, Knuckles repeatedly punched the back of the couch, punching with all his might. He would eventually stop, when he felt nothing other than the couch's backside.

"I take it he's not back there?" Pit ran over to Knuckles, who was taking a breather after his flurry of punches. "What a shame...Morgan and Marc really wanted to see him. Real bad."

"Yeah, it's pretty obvious that he ran off...man, what a coward. First he avoids his kids, and now he avoids a man he owes money? That's just messed up! Don't know which one is worse!"

"Refusing to repay someone is way more terrible than being a deadbeat!" Knuckles nodded in agreement with Pit - good to see that the two could agree mutually on something. "That alone is jail-worthy. Should be locked up for life!"

"True dat, true dat...but, how long has Robin been hiding from Morgan and Marc? Since last year? I think that trumps him not wanting to give me back my money!"

"You say that our dad is trying to hide from us?" asked Morgan, as she and Marc approached Pit and Knuckles. "What for?"

"Is he secretly planning a secret surprise for us?" Marc asked eagerly, as he was all smiles. "I sure do love surprises!" Pit and Knuckles nervously looked at each other, wondering if the twins should know.

"Uh, yeah, he's totally preparing extensively for a surprise for you two!" Knuckles awkwardly responded, as Pit awkwardly nodded his head and smiled. "That's why you haven't seen him yet - seeing him in person will spoil a huge chunk of the surprise."

"Oh, I see...well that sure explains everything. We would ask our mom about the surprise, but she might spoil us so...we'll just remain patient for dad."

"We'll just pretend to be 'surprised' when the actual surprise happens," added Morgan, as Pit and Knuckles did nothing but smile. All that smiling wasn't enough to atone for Robin's faults.

"Good! I'll be right back with you, gotta speak with my man Knuckles," Pit told the twins, as he grabbed Knuckles and took him away from Morgan and Marc. "...what are we gonna do?" Pit whispered to Knuckles.

"Only thing we can do - look for Robin," Knuckles whispered back, before looking at the twins, who were staring at the echidna curiously. "He couldn't have gone that far from this room."

Meanwhile, still hiding behind the golf simulator was Robin, who had heard everything that was discussed. Boy was the mage in quite a pickle now...

Ray: I don't think I did anything wrong with Robin. He told me and the boys not to tell anyone about his whereabouts, and we followed his word. Knuckles, well, he was an exception, since he was asking a question. Sometimes, you can't be rude and not answer people. It's the golden rule.

Fox and Falco stood outside Luigi's house, both pilots standing on the doorstep. Why were they paying Luigi a visit, you might ask? One might assume that it might be wedding-related.

"Remember, we're only here to ask for Luigi's Keurig, and nothing else," Falco sternly told Fox, having to point at his best friend. Fox furrowed his brow, as he lowered Falco's hand. "Don't ask him any weird wedding questions."

"Like what, 'how far apart should I be standing from my future spouse'?" questioned Fox, making Falco back away a little. "Because if you must know, that question is at the very top of my list of questions!"

"No...wedding...questions. Got it? Good." With that taken care of, Falco rang the doorbell, as Yuffie quickly answered the front door. Her face went from excitement to pure disappointment.

"Oh...it's just you dorks," Yuffie greeted the pilots flatly, sighing as she wore a face of misery. "What do you guys even want?"

"We want to borrow Luigi's wedding flowers," replied Fox, as Falco angrily nudged Fox in his side. "Uh, I mean, his Keurig. We promise to bring it back."

"For some reason, I don't believe that last sentence...but if you want, you can come in and ask Luigi yourself. But be on your best behavior, okay?"

"Pfft, we're always on our best behavior!" Falco said confidently, as he wrapped his arm around Fox. What a blatant lie. "Why must you even ask?"

"Because Luigi and Daisy have some guests over...actually, they're not really guests, they're just guys who are new to the mansion."

Fox and Falco followed Yuffie inside the house, and once inside, they were startled to see Luigi and Daisy...hanging out with two male teenagers in the living room. Fox and Falco's mouths gaped as they saw that one of the teens was Yu Narukami, who made his Smash Life debut in episode 59. The other teen was a blue-haired fellow.

"Fox McCloud and Falco Lombardi...it's been a while," Yu greeted the pilots, as he stood up from the couch he was sitting on. "How long has it been since we last saw each other? Over a year?"

"Now now, you two, don't just-a stare at Yu," Luigi told the gaping Fox and Falco, as he too stood up from the couch. "It's never nice-a to stare at someone..."

"Mr. Yu, what up my man!" exclaimed Fox, completely forgetting about that Keurig as he and Falco ran over to Yu. They pushed Luigi down to the floor, as they came over to Yu and gave him some dap. "How's it goin'?"

"Well this isn't the reaction I was expecting to receive, but...I'm fine, thanks for asking," replied Yu, sitting back down in his seat after awkwardly giving Fox and Falco some dap. "Had no idea I was that popular with you guys."

"Fox and Falco, aren't you going to greet the other guy sitting in your presence?" Daisy asked the pilots, as she pointed at the blue-haired teen. Fox and Falco both looked at him.

"Who are you? Yu's friend?" Fox asked the blue-haired teen, who cracked a slight smile. "Nice hair, by the way...I'm only half-kidding."

"Guess you could say I'm Yu's friend..." replied the teen, standing up and fixing his black jacket. "I'm Minato, a former transfer student from Gekkoukan High School. I was raised an orphan; my parents died on the Moonlight Bridge during a fatal car accident."

"Look dude, you didn't have to flex on us with that made-up tragic backstory. That's not how you earn street cred. You know what I mean? I tell my girlfriend tragic stories about how I burnt off the flesh of my hand on the stove, but do you see me using those stories to puff myself up? I don't think so..."

"My story isn't made-up...also burning your hand on the stove isn't that tragic..." Minato lowered his head, having his spirit crushed by Fox.

Fox: Seen it all the time in anime...the main character tells someone some tragic make-believe sad story, and gets the audience and the characters in the show completely on their side. Absolutely sickening. Almost like they can't get people to like them organically, those attention-seekers!

"Just ignore Fox, he isn't that mean most of the time," Daisy informed Minato, wanting to bring the teen's spirits back up. "Falco will treat you nicely!"

"You kinda look like a girl," Falco had this to say about Minato's looks, saying something that he probably should've kept to himself.

"...that's the first time someone has ever told me that before, but thanks," replied Minato, with a nod. He was sure to ignore that comment, for the rest of the day.

"So Yu, what are you and Minato still doing at Luigi's house?" Fox asked the silver-haired young man, while keeping a close eye for Luigi's Keurig. "This isn't the mansion, you know!"

"Yes, Fox, I'm well aware," replied Yu, brushing his fingers through his bowl cut hair. "Just moments after we entered the mansion, Master Hand told Minato and I to leave since the Carpenters were building a bridge. Even though...we're nowhere near the bridge..."

"Master Hand apparently thinks that the bridge will fall on us, and kill us both," added Minato, still irked by Falco's comment about him looking like a girl. "Appears to me that he doesn't have much faith in those Carpenters..."

"I believe that - to some extent," remarked Falco, as he walked over to Luigi and tapped the plumber on his shoulder. "Luigi, do you have your Keurig anywhere? Fox and I wanna borrow it."

"You can borrow my Keurig, but it's in-a my game room...which is locked," replied Luigi, as he hopped off the couch and went to his room. Fox and Falco gave each other very weird looks. "I'll be right-a back with my key!"

"Who keeps a game room locked...?" wondered Fox, as Falco shrugged his shoulders. Not even Daisy nor Yuffie knew the answer.

Phoenix and his adopted daughter, Trucy, were in Mario's living room with Mario, Peach, and a few of Mario's neighbors. The former attorney was telling everyone the story of Trucy, and what led her to adopt the eight-year old aspiring magician.

"After Trucy's grandpa had died, her dad was soon put on trial for the murder," Phoenix told the story to everyone, with Mario having a lot of questions. "The trial where I forged evidence pertained to that murder."

"Yeah, but that still doesn't explain-a how you're of legal age-a to adopt Trucy," interrupted Mario, as everyone looked angry at the plumber. "What did I even-a say?"

"Just give it a break already, Mario..." Marth told the plumber, having just about enough of the plumber's shenanigans. "Does Phoenix being a dad trigger you THAT much? Jealous?"

"What is even there to be jealous-a of? I'm just wondering how Phoenix could-a be of legal age to adopt a child. May I add that there's an eighteen-a year difference between Phoenix and..."

Mario would soon be cut off, when Phoenix cleared his throat. The former attorney looked angry at Mario, who kept himself quiet in a jiffy.

Phoenix: I know what I'm doing, I know what I'm getting myself into...Trucy needed a home, and I was more than happy to oblige. What else would I've done? Let her go homeless and turn into a hobo, and roam the streets? Why, if I became a hobo, in like seven years, I'd eat my suit! *pauses* For some odd reason, I think I'm gonna regret saying that...

"You gonna lemme finish the story or not?" Phoenix asked Mario, putting the plumber in his place. Mario sat there meekly, twiddling with his thumbs. "Trucy and I got places to go, you know..."

"Forget the story - I wanna see some of Trucy's magic!" chirped Peach, as Phoenix looked at the princess. Phoenix wished to finish his story, but not at the price of leaving Peach dissatisfied.

"How about we finish the story first, and then we can get to the magic? I'm about this close to finishing my story, and I gotta give it a deserving ending."

"Shut up Phoenix, we all know you had forged evidence and lost your attorney license as a result," said Pac-Man, as Phoenix looked at the eater of ghosts in pure astonishment. "There, I finished the story for ya!"

"Why you gotta snitch on me, my man?" Phoenix asked Mario as he looked at him, sounding like he was betrayed. "What kind of friend even are you?"

"I didn't snitch-a on you - I just told my neighbors about-a your lost attorney license after you and-a Maya had left," explained Mario, as Phoenix sat back on the couch looking despondent. "That-a way, it was more confidential!"

"Sorry Phoenix, it was just a slip of my tongue," Pac-Man cheesily apologized, smiling innocently as he scratched the back of his head.

"Can we please get to the magic already?" asked Peach, growing impatient as she tugged on her pink dress. "I don't mean to be a bother, but..."

"Papa, can I show off a magic trick or two to Princess Peach?" Trucy asked Phoenix, unnerving Mario when she referred to Phoenix as her father.

"Well seeing that Peach is growing impatient, and Pac-Man ruining my story..." said Phoenix, as he analyzed the options at hand. "...sure, go ahead kiddo." Trucy smiled, as she immediately hopped off the couch ran over to the fireplace where Trucy was.

"Who wants to see...a disappearing act?" Trucy asked everyone in attendance, taking out a long piece of cloth, as Peach excitedly raised her hand. Everyone else remained tranquil. "Great! Who wants to be a volunteer?"

"Ooh, ooh, pick me!" Peach called out to Trucy, moving about on the couch with excitement. "I want to be the volunteer!"

"I thought you wanted to see the magic trick, rather than being a part of it," Olimar asked Peach; perhaps the astronaut should just go in Peach's place.

"It's more than when you're a volunteer." Peach got up off the couch, and went over to where Trucy was standing. "So what do I have to do?" the princess asked Trucy, brimming with joy.

"Just stand closer to the fireplace, and remain still," Trucy told Peach, who assumed her position near the fireplace. Trucy took the large piece of cloth, and held it in front of Peach. Had to use a long stick to dangle the cloth, due to her height. "Now everyone watch, as I make Princess Peach...DISAPPEAR!"

Trucy dangled the cloth fancily, before pulling it away...and Peach was gone, nowhere to be found. Mario and company were left impressed, as they were clapping their hands.

"But wait, we're not done yet!" exclaimed Trucy, once the applause came to an end. "We have to make Princess Peach appear again." Trucy held the piece of cloth over the place Peach once stood, dangled it, and lifted it up...

...and Peach was nowhere to be found! Trucy looked scared out of her mind, as Peach was nowhere in sight.

"Sooooo...where's-a my wife?" Mario asked Trucy, who was looking nervous as she bit her fingernails. Trucy looked around, expecting Peach to pop up out of nowhere, but it was no use...she was gone.

"This wasn't supposed to happen..." replied a worried Trucy, knowing that Mario would put her on blast. Having a missing spouse due to a magic trick gone wrong was seriously no laughing matter.

"Trucy, where did Princess Peach go?" Phoenix asked his adopted daughter, who was now trembling in fear. But only just a little. "You were supposed to bring her back, right...?"

"I don't know where she went, she might've ran away..." responded Trucy, feeling all the pressure and worry of the world on her shoulders. "...but I don't know where she could run off to..."

Mario: This must be an inside-a job, by Peach and Trucy...it has to be a part-a of Peach's plan, to run away and leave the house-a for an extended period of time. Just to see how-a I fare with Jennifer by myself. If that's-a the case, then I gotta put on my big-a boy boots on, and get serious. No more feeding Jennifer baby food-a via mouth-to-mouth...Why are you all making those-a faces?

Mutoh and the Carpenters were about almost done building the bridge, as they were about 95 percent done. They were all sweating, including Mutoh who was hardly even working to begin with.

"Boss, why are you so sweaty?" Ichiro asked Mutoh, hammering away on the bridge. Common sense would tell him not to question Mutoh, ever. "All you're doing is standing there, laughing at us!"

"That's because it takes as much effort as what you blokes are doing combined!" replied Mutoh, as Ichiro held his head low and thought over his life choices. "Now get back to work!"

"But he's already working, we're all working!" stated Shiro, one of the Carpenters; Mutoh looked at him with an intense glare.

"What is it? You trying to defend Ichiro? Or you wanna be my new punching bag? Because I really could chew out another worker!"

"Neither sir...I was just making a statement. Sorry for saying what was on my mind...it won't happen again, boss."

"Good! That's what I like to hear! Now go do me a solid and get me a bottle of lemonade. Those boys over there have been slacking off!"

So Shiro stopped what he was doing, and went over to the other side of the bridge, to fetch Mutoh his lemonade. Moments later, Shiro came running back, with a bottle of lemonade in his hand.

"Boss, I'm afraid I got some bad news..." Shiro informed Mutoh, as he handed him his lemonade; Mutoh opened up his bottle of lemonade, and drank its contents. "...those guys at the back are gone!" Mutoh soon spat out his lemonade, all up in Shiro's face.

"They left while on the job?!" frowned Mutoh, as Shiro wiped the spat-out lemonade off his face. "What are they doing, going on a strike? They got picket signs and complaining about how unfair life is?"

"Beats me - all I know is that they're gone from the balcony. But the drinks are still there, so that's a plus." Mutoh furrowed his brow, as he drank the rest of his lemonade.

"Eh, Master Hand will know what to do with them if he finds 'em." Done with his lemonade, Mutoh tossed the bottle over the bridge, only for Shiro to miraculously grab it in the air. Shiro was truly a man of nature.

The group of Sonic, Yoshi, Slippy, Polar Bear, Spyro, and Hunter had left the balcony, so they could extract revenge on Peppy. Already having formed a plan, the six were now on the hunt, as they walked through the hallway of the mansion.

"Aren't you guys supposed to be in trouble?" Geo Stelar asked the six as he and Omega-Xis passed by, only for Polar Bear to push the young lad to the floor. Omega-Xis couldn't help but laugh at Geo.

"How's that for trouble?" retorted Polar Bear, as he continued on his way. Geo looked up at the bear, not expecting to be pushed down with such authority.

"Good day, my friends!" Shovel Knight greeted the six in the middle of the hallway, holding up his shovel. "Doth any of you wish to take me on in some golfing?"

"Get lost, you're in our way!" Hunter frowned at Shovel Knight, kicking him to the floor and continuing to walk with the others. "Man that felt so good..."

Hunter and the gang soon reached the lounge, and were about to enter it until Ridley appeared, about to cut in front of him. Ridley saw the six, and saw Sonic, mean mugging him. This lasted for a couple of seconds, before Ridley peacefully walked away.

"Yeah, that's what I thought!" Sonic shouted at Ridley, shaking his fist at the space dragon. "Go back home to your mom...or Mother Brain...or something."

Ridley: *shrugs*

Sonic and company peered inside the lounge, looking around for Peppy, before spotting their target near the large window of the lounge. The hare was speaking with Fiora, as the two were standing near a pet cage.

"This pet cage was delivered to the mansion this afternoon," Fiora explained to Peppy, who had a finger underneath his chin. Sonic and company were eavesdropping on Peppy, listening to every word that was said.

"Is there a cat or dog inside of it?" asked Peppy, unable to see anything through the pet cage door. A red flag in his eyes. "What if it's an exotic pet?"

"The cage sure felt quite heavy when I took it in, so I assume that a dog is inside. No noise came from it, so the dog must be napping. Tried looking through the door, but I can't see anything..."

"Ha, I was just about to make that point. The fact that the back of the door is all covered up is a little concerning to me. Makes me feel uneasy!"

"Aight you guys, on the count of three, we run inside that lounge and gang up on Peppy," Sonic whispered to his compadres, with Spyro half-listening. "Do we any have any objections?"

"You really think beating up Peppy senselessly will teach him a lesson?" Spyro asked Sonic, as he raised an eyebrow at the hedgehog. Sonic groaned, disgusted with Spyro's attitude.

"Of course it will, Mr. Doesn't-Want-To-Stick-To-The-Plan! Starting to get a feeling that maybe YOU are the snitch!" Sonic pointed at Spyro accusingly, as Slippy gasped in horror. Yoshi and Polar Bear had to cover his mouth.

"Sure, let's keep going on with the endless finger-pointing, that's gonna solve our issues..." As Sonic continued to point at Spyro, Slippy managed to break free of Yoshi and Polar Bear.

"Spyro is the REAL snitch all along?!" the frog blurted out, loud enough for Peppy and Fiora to hear. The two turned around, and saw Slippy and company hanging around near the lounge entrance.

"Ah, Slippy - it seems like you and your friends are done with your chores!" Peppy called out to Slippy, as he and the others looked at the old hare. "Would you mind checking out this mysterious pet cage?"

"We have no idea what's inside," added Fiora, noticing that the pet cage remained still. Whatever pet was inside of that pet cage must be fast asleep.

"Thanks Slippy, you've blown our cover..." Sonic frowned at the frog, as he and his compadres were obligated to follow Slippy inside the lounge.

Link took Cloud and the buddy cops to the park, where he allegedly saw Zant up in the sky while hanging out with Zelda. The swordsmen were all looking around the park, though Zant was nowhere in sight.

"Link, I'm starting to believe that you're a delusional liar," Cloud told the Hylian, feeling like his time was being wasted. Same could be said for the buddy cops. "You sure you saw Zant around here?"

"Yes I did, I saw him with my own eyes!" replied Link, wanting to prove to Cloud and the buddy cops that he wasn't making stuff up. "He was up in the sky, right up there, just hovering!" Link pointed up at the sky, as Cloud looked up. Didn't ease the swordsman's skepticism in the slightest.

"Okay, so what were you and Zelda doing when you saw Zant? Were you just walking through the park, or what?"

"I was showing off this new dance I learned online to Zelda, when Zant appeared. Maybe if I do that dance again, Zant will come back!"

Link began to squat, with his hands on his knees, moving around while moving his shoulders and arms. Cloud and the buddy cops, not wanting to be associated with Link, backed away from the Hylian.

"We should arrest Link when we get back, for disturbing the public," Toon Link told Young Link, although hardly anyone at the park was paying attention to Link's strange dancing. "And for causing premature blindness."

"You're right, I can't even look at the man," responded Young Link, who had to shield his eyes from whatever the heck Link was doing.

Cloud: If there was anything I learned today, it's that Link is a crap dancer. I'd hate to see him on the dance floor with Zelda at his wedding reception. Already getting bad vibes just thinking about it.

"I'll keep on dancing, you guys look up at the sky," Link told Cloud and the buddy cops, dancing to his heart's content. "Lemme know if you see anything!"

"Link we're not just gonna stare at the sky all day long, that's asinine," Cloud told his best friend, but Link wouldn't listen as he danced away.

Robin was on the run, now more than ever, as Pit and Knuckles were on the lookout for him. The mage knew that if the angle and echidna found him, they would bring him to his kids from the future, Morgan and Marc. Robin would have to do a lot of explaining about his actions...and then some.

As Robin ran through the hallway looking for a hiding spot, he came across Wario, who was counting the dollar bills in his hand. Wario looked up at Robin, as he placed his wads of cash in his pocket.

"Hey Robin, you're gonna get married in the future, right?" Wairo asked the mage, knowing that he would marry Lucina eventually. It was mostly inevitable. "You know a good place to buy a wedding ring?"

"Sadly, I do not," replied Robin, immediately giving Wario's hopes up. "But I never would've imagined that you have strong desires to marry a girl in high school."

"Mona already graduated from high school, okay?! And besides, the wedding ring is not for me...it's for Fox. The guy is dead-set on marrying Krystal, and he and Falco want me to buy a wedding ring."

"I can't help you with that at the moment, unfortunately...but if I find a good place for you to buy a wedding ring, or anything else for Fox's wedding, then I'll be the first to let you know."

"Alright then. I'm gonna hold you to your word. But you better find this good place soon, or Fox and Falco will aggravate me to death! Especially Fox..."

Robin and Wario went their separate ways, with Wario going back to counting his money, and Robin looking around for a hiding spot. During his search, Robin ran into Jigglypuff, nearly kicking the balloon Pokemon unsuspectingly.

"Jigglypuff!" Jigglypuff alerted Robin, when his foot nearly missed her. Robin looked down at saw Jigglypuff, smiling at the balloon Pokemon.

"Whoops, didn't see you there, Jigglypuff," the mage told Jigglypuff, scratching the back of his head. "I was trying to hide from, uh, Pit and Knuckles."

"Jigglypuff Jigglypuff?" Jigglypuff cocked her head to the side, looking at Robin in a questioning manner.

"Well you see, um, Pit and Knuckles...they want to beat me up! I owe Knuckles some money, and I have yet to pay him back." Can't let Jigglypuff know the real reason why he was trying to hide. "Now, he's recruited Pit, and they're looking for me..."

"Jiggly Jigglypuff..." Jigglypuff neared closer to Robin, as she took out her trusty microphone. Robin backed away, knowing what Jigglypuff had up her sleeve.

"Now now, putting me to sleep won't solve anything...Pit and Knuckles will still find me either way. Therefore, you should take me to the Pokemon sanctuary...so then...I can hide among...the Pokemon...and not...be seen..."

Robin started to trail off, as he started to feel drowsy and tired, before he immediately fell asleep. All thanks to Jigglypuff using Sing to subdue the mage. Jigglypuff grabbed the sleeping Robin by the leg, and dragged him away on the floor.

Having found the keys to his game room in his housecoat, Luigi went to the game room to retrieve the Keurig Fox and Falco wanted to borrow. Not fully trusting the pilots, Luigi told Fox and Falco that they could only use his Keurig in his house, to which the pilots obliged.

But this Keurig wasn't just any Keurig...it was a Keurig Kold, an at-home soda machine! No wonder Fox and Falco wanted to borrow this Keurig so much. The two pilots were in Luigi's kitchen, making and drinking soda.

"Man, this stuff sure hits the spot!" exclaimed Fox, as he drunk from his cup of Coco-Cola like how any normal person would. Falco, on the other hand, held his beak open below the Keurig, as soda poured into his mouth.

"That, that is why I didn't want-a those two borrowing my Keurig," Luigi explained to Yu and Minato, pointing at Falco and his crazy shenanigans. "They're prone-a to doing stupid things!"

Luigi: That Keurig Kold was another wedding gift-a I received from Lili de Rochefort. From what I've-a heard, it's very expensive - up to $370! But, I got it for-a free, hehe...and thanks to Rotom, I had-a my Keurig "hacked", so I wouldn't have-a to keep the thing plugged-a in all day for it to work! Take-a that, average people!

While Fox and Falco enjoyed everything the Keurig Kold had to offer, someone knocked on the front door. Yuffie opened the front door to who it was, and saw Zelda.

"Oh, hi Zelda!" Yuffie greeted the princess, much more eager to see her than she was with Fox and Falco. "Wanna turn into Sheik, and go on some ninja adventures?"

"No thanks Yuffie, not today," replied Zelda, as Yuffie held her head in sadness. "I just need to speak with Yu and Minato. Are they still here?"

"Yeah, they're still hanging out with Luigi and Daisy." Yuffie looked towards the living room, and saw Yu and Minato, both of whom were judging Falco. "Yu! Minato! Princess Zelda wants to speak with you!"

"Princess Zelda's here?" asked Yu, as he and Minato reverted their attention from Falco to the front door, where Zelda was standing. "Hello again, princess. I take it you have something to tell us?"

"Just a little message Master Hand wants me to deliver," responded Zelda, while Falco started to choke and gag on the soda. Serves him right. "Master Hand said that it's 'safe' now to return to the mansion. The Carpenters are all finished with the bridge."

"Have no clue why we had to stay away in the first place..." remarked Minato, before he and Yu turned their attention towards Luigi and Daisy. "Thank you for letting us stay, Luigi and Daisy."

"Aw, don't mention it - we really enjoyed your company!" smiled Daisy, before furrowing her brow as she looked towards Fox and Falco. "Unlike some people..." Fox was tending to Falco, giving his best friend the Heimlich maneuver.

"Hope-a you enjoy the mansion!" Luigi said to Yu and Minato, as the two men walked away. "And remember, always be on the look-a out for Master Hand!"

"Understood," Yu gave Luigi a thumbs up, as he and Minato followed Zelda outside. "I'm sure Master Hand will be doing nothing but thanking me for that investigation two years ago..."

"Any sign of Zant yet?" Link asked Cloud and the buddy cops, as the Hylian continued to do his awkward dance around the park. He was starting to scare some of the city folk away.

"Perhaps your awful dancing is scaring him away," assumed Cloud, who was slacking off on his job as he observed the park scene. The buddy cops, however, were on the job, as they scoured the sky for Zant.

"See anything, Starsky?" Young Link asked Toon Link, as the buddy cops looked at the sky through their binoculars. Toon Link kept on looking, until he spotted a big black dot in the sky, far away.

"Do you see that black dot, up there?" the Hylian asked Young Link, pointing at the black dot. Young Link saw the dot eventually. "Could that...could that be Zant?

"If only we had a telescope..." Silly Young Link, no police officer uses a telescope while on the job!

A state of uneasiness was nigh prevalent at the Mario household, as Peach was nowhere to be found after being a volunteer of Trucy's disappearing magic trick. Mario, Phoenix, and everyone else remained in the living room, hoping Peach would show up.

"Just called the police, they should arrive in a couple of minutes or so," announced Phoenix, while Mario anxiously paced back and forth in his living room. "It was my second time calling them...what's taking them so long?"

"Papa, am I going to be in trouble for making Peach disappear for good?" Trucy asked Phoenix, showing some major regret over her magic trick. Phoenix looked at Trucy and smiled, before patting his adopted daughter on her head.

"It's okay, Trucy, mistakes happen." Phoenix was acting way too chill about this whole situation. "I know it wasn't your fault. Maybe there was an unknown technical difficulty...or something along the lines of that."

"Man, this really sucks..." frowned Pac-Man, as he sat back on the living room sofa and sighed. "...I really wanna leave and go back home, but that would be seen as insensitive by Mario, given the situation."

"Yeah I kinda feel the same way," Olimar agreed with Pac-Man, checking the time on his watch. "Wish I could disappear just like Peach!"

"Come to think of it, I don't believe that Princess Peach actually disappeared..." Marth offered his two cents, as Pac-Man and Olimar looked at the hero-king curiously. "...in fact, she might've went up through the chimney!"

"Peach climbing up the chimney?" Pac-Man laughed at Marth, as he slapped his knee. "What, you think Peach is some kind of ninja?"

"No, but she can use her parasol to fly up the chimne...kind of like Mary Poppins, but in reverse. Wouldn't be surprised if Peach was outside right now!"

Suddenly, someone was heard knocking on the screen door, grabbing Mario and company's attention. Mario stopped pacing and looked towards the screen door, his eyes bulging out when he saw a certain princess waving to him.

"Princess-a Peach!" the plumber exclaimed, as he ran to the screen door and opened it. In came Peach, as Mario grabbed the princess and kissed her profusely. "Oh, how much-a I missed you!"

"Okay Mario, you can stop that now," giggled Peach, pushing her husband away from her. Mario stopped kissing, as he closed the screen door.

"For a moment, we all assumed-a that you had disappeared forever!" Mario and Peach walked to the living room, where everyone was relieved to see Peach. "Phoenix called-a the police and everything! Where did you run-a off to?"

"Oh, I just escaped through the chimney." Mario and Phoenix looked surprised, while Marth looked at Pac-Man and Olimar with a cocky smirk. "Had to use my parasol for an extra lift."

Marth: *nods his head confidently* Told them so...

"But why did-a you escape in the first-a place?" Mario asked his wife, who responded by showing off her hand...which had a wedding ring on it.

"I used Trucy's magic trick as a means to escape and find my missing wedding ring," explained Peach, as Mario and Phoenix looked at the princess with distraught faces, their mouths agape. "Turns out it was on the backyard patio this whole time!"

"You put us through all of that crap, just because of a missing wedding ring...?" questioned Phoenix, before he fall backwards unto a living room couch out of disbelief. "Can't believe I freaking called the police..."

"Glad we had this all cleared up," remarked Trucy, as her adoptive father Phoenix buried his face in his hands and groaned. "I was starting to get scared!"

"And I'm glad I found my wedding ring!" smiled Peach, looking at the wedding ring on her ring finger. "Sorry I put you all through so much trouble."

Sonic and his crew were supposed to seek their revenge on Peppy, for supposedly snitching on them, but instead the six were helping Peppy and Fiora find out what was in the pet cage delivered to the mansion. They were trying to open up the cage door, but to no avail.

"Hey Spyro, you should breathe fire on the cage!" Hunter suggested to Spyro, while Yoshi and Sonic pulled on the door to the pet cage with all their might. "Then the cage will get hot, and the pet inside of it will come running out!"

"So basically you want me to harm the pet and give it first-degree burns," said Spyro, as Hunter nodded his head after much thought. "No way I'm taking any chances with that."

"How about you ram your head into the cage instead?" suggested Polar Bear, giving Spyro a much more reasonable and safe idea. "That could bring the pet out of the cage, probably."

"And do what, give myself a concussion? If the pet doesn't come out, then it wouldn't be worth it. No pain, no gain."

"Neither of those suggestions sound very safe to me," remarked Fiora, as Yoshi and Sonic continued to pull on the pet cage door. "Let's just let Sonic and Yoshi do what they're doing now."

"Yeah, let's listen to what Fiora says. She sounds like the most sensible one here." Hunter looked at Spyro, feeling hurt. "No offense, Hunter..."

Spyro: I've been doing nothing but menial work this entire week, all because I did Bowser a favor. And I only did that because I wanted to keep Hunter in check! I really need a small vacation from Hunter...is there a way to access Dragon Shores from here?

No matter how hard Sonic and Yoshi pulled on the pet cage door, it didn't budge in the slightest. Wanting to help out, Slippy joined in on the efforts, grabbing Yoshi's stomach as he pulled. Then Hunter joined. And then Polar Bear. Spyro, Peppy, and Fiora just watched...

...and then after a big pull, Sonic and company managed to pry the pet cage door open, falling on their backs as the door was now open wide. As Sonic and company got up, a white cat walked out of the cage.

"Hello everyone!" the white cat waved to everyone, who looked at him peculiarly. "My name is Toro Inoue. It's nice to meet you!"

"Don't know why, but that name sounds familiar..." Yoshi scratched his chin, as Toro went inside his pet cage and pulled out some bones. And some armor.

"What's with the armor?" asked Slippy, as Toro pulled out a skull with one eye from his pet cage. Toro started to put the bones together, to make a skeleton, before putting on the armor over the skeleton.

"I got a bad feeling about this..." Fiora whispered to Peppy, as Toro completed the skeleton by applying the skull with one eye. In a matter of seconds, the skeleton came to life, as it lifted itself off the floor and on its feet.

"Everyone, meet Sir Daniel Fortesque!" Toro introduced everyone to the living skeleton, who moved around to get his joints, fingers, and everything else calibrated. The name of Sir Daniel Fortesque made Sonic furrow his brow.

"Sir Daniel Fortesque..." the hedgehog uttered the name, before pointing at Toro and Sir Dan. "...yeah, I get it now - you two losers must be from the manor!"

"En garde!" shouted Sir Dan, in his mumbled voice, as he whipped out his sword from his imaginary pocket and pointed it at the hedgehog. "Not another word!"

"Look, we can either do this the easy way...or the hard way," said Toro, forming a devious smile on his face as he rubbed his hands together. "We just need an answer to this super important question..."

"Well what is this question, boss?" asked Polar Bear, as Toro looked around the lounge at everyone.

"Which one of you..." Toro pointed his finger...erm, hand, at everyone, as he looked around. "...is the smartest?"

"Who is the smartest?" asked Peppy, before smiling as he popped his collar. "Well if you're asking who the smartest is, then you should look no further than..."

"Quick, Sir Dan, grab him!" Toro commanded the living skeleton, as Sir Dan scooped up Peppy and hoisted him over his shoulder.

"Let's scram!" shouted Sir Dan, as he and Toro ran out of the lounge. Peppy screamed for help, as Sonic just stood there. You'd think he would use his speed to chase after Toro and Sir Dan, and rescue Peppy.

"Woah, they just ran off with Peppy like it was nothing!" the hedgehog exclaimed, surprised that Sir Dan could lift up Peppy without collapsing. "What savages!"

"Um, aren't you gonna go after them and save Peppy?" Fiora asked the hedgehog, who had some second doubts. "They might take him to the manor!"

"Why should we? That man Peppy practically snitched on us, for working for Bowser last week! As much as we wanted to get our revenge, I think Toro and Sir Dan can do the favor for us."

"No Sonic, Peppy didn't snitched on you...I did," someone said, as Sonic looked in disbelief...at Spyro. "I was the snitch this whole time."

"No way..." uttered Hunter, who was in disbelief just like Sonic and the others.

Hunter: My best friend...is a snitch? Well, as long as he doesn't tell Mario that I use his toothbrush to scratch my armpits, it's all good.

"YOU snitched on us?!" Sonic snapped on Spyro, who had a plain look on his face. "Why did you have to do that, man?"

"It was to teach you guys a lesson," explained Spyro, as Sonic tightened his fists. "I only helped Bowser, mainly because of Hunter." Hunter nodded his head in agreement, though he was unsure why.

"What lesson, that it's not okay to have fun? That was the reason why I joined Bowser in the first place - I just wanted to enjoy myself! Everyone else was enjoying themselves, with their superhero costumes..."

"But was it worth messing around with Bowser? Think about it, has helping Bowser with anything got you anywhere?" Sonic thought for a second, and realized that Spyro was right.

"Yeah, I think you might be right...maybe I was just, feeling salty over not being invited to that brunch. What about you guys?" Hunter, Polar Bear, Slippy, all nodded in agreement.

"Eh, I joined Bowser so he wouldn't bully me later," stated Yoshi, with the shrug of his shoulders. "Totally no peer pressure involved...hehe..."

"We deserved it, we should have known better..." Sonic looked at Spyro, smiling at him; Spyro smiled in return. "...thanks for teaching us a lesson, Spyro."

"This is very nice and all, but...is anyone going to rescue Peppy?" questioned Fiora, not wanting to dissolve the happy mood. But Peppy needed some saving.

"Sure, why not?" Sonic ran out of the room, with his five compadres following after him. They were no longer interested in seeking revenge on Peppy...rather, they were dead-set on rescuing the hare.

Back at the park, Link was completely exhausted from doing his weird, extraordinary dance. The Hylian was sweaty, as he sat on the ground next to Cloud.

"Think I squatted too low during the whole dance..." panted Link, as he looked up at Cloud who was minding his own business. "...any sign of Zant, Cloud?"

"The buddy cops are on it," replied Cloud, as Link looked over and saw the buddy cops looking up at the sky through their binoculars.

"I'm confused...is that black dot getting any closer?" Toon Link asked Young Link, squinting his eyes through his binoculars. "Looks like it's just sitting there in the same place..."

"Why aren't you looking along with him, Cloud?" Link asked the swordsman, before lying down on the ground. "Slacking off already, aren't we?"

"To be fair, I've been slacking off this entire time," Cloud replied cordially, while Link wiped the sweat off of his face. "I have more important things to do than..."

A tree was thrown at Cloud, making the swordsman jump out of the way. Link quickly got back up on his feet, as the buddy cops stopped looking through their binoculars and saw the tree, which had landed a few inches away from them.

"Tornado warning in King county?" Young Link asked Toon Link, who slapped his partner-in-crime in the face for his ignorance. "Ow!"

"Don't be stupid, tornadoes are nonexistent in the state of Washington," Toon Link informed Young Link, dropping this knowledge on him. "That flying tree was obviously the work of a hurricane. Make no mistake about it!"

Toon Link: Hutch and I have been police officers long enough to know that hurricanes can happen any time of the year. Sometimes, you always have to expect the unexpected...or unexpect the expected. Either one works...

Link, Cloud, and the buddy cops all banded together, looking around for whoever threw that tree at them. They would soon find the culprit, when they saw a blonde girl in black attire floating up in the sky, smiling at the four from above.

"Oh no, it's her..." frowned Link, when she recognized who the girl was...it was Kat, from three episodes ago. "...it's that chick Midna told me about."

"You know her from somewhere?" Cloud asked Link, who wished he had brought his Master Sword with him. The Hylian should scare Kat away, with his dancing.

"Midna saw her fiddling around near the tower a few weeks ago. Had no clue what she was trying to do, but she's from the manor so she's nothing but trouble..."

"Excuse me, are you talking about me?" asked Kat, hovering down closer to Link and company so she could hear their conversation. "I believe that I heard my name mentioned..."

"Put your hands up where we can see 'em!" Toon Link barked at Young Link, as the buddy cops had their arrows pointed at Kat. Kat could only smirk at them.

"Aw, how cute...two wannabe cops, thinking that they're tough. What police officer uses a bow instead of a gun?"

"You heard that, Starsky? That girl called us weak!" Young Link told Toon Link, feeling some type of way. "Let's get her!" The buddy cops fired their arrows at Kat, only for Kat to float away and dodge them.

"Would you like to try that again?" Kat taunted the buddy cops, who both armed their bows with another arrow. "Go ahead, waste your arrows why don't you.."

"Stop, you two - hold your fire," Cloud told the buddy cops, putting his hand in front of them, before looking up at Kat. "Alright, spit it out...what is it that you want?"

"Oh, just for Master Hand and Crazy Hand to be done with. Through whatever means necessary." Kat stretched her fingers, as she casually described the manor's fatal plan.

"But why do you wanna kill them for? Is it because you're jealous? Is it envy? Or did Master Hand do something personal to you guys in the past?"

"I would tell you the truth...but our boss forbid us of spilling the beans. We can't give away all of our plan, you know!"

"I believe you told them more than enough..."

Slowly descending from the sky was a fellow wearing a black baggy robe, with a helmet over his head. He had a ceremonial apron over his robe, and his helmet was like that of a chameleon. One good look at the helmet made Link realize who it was.

"There he is, it's him!" Link excitedly pointed at the fellow up in the air, who was near Kat. "It's Zant! I told you guys so!"

"Shut up Link, I'm trying to watch here..." Cloud mumbled to Link, interested in seeing how this Zant and Kat interaction would go down.

"Who...are you?" Kat asked Zant, crinkling her nose at the Twilight denizen. She had to back away, just to be on the safe side.

"Who I am is none of your concern," replied Zant, speaking in a very cold and sinister voice. "But, if you must know, my name is Zant."

"Okay...Zant...and why are you here? You want to be my friend? My ally? What is it that you want?"

"All I can tell you is that if you truly value your life, you'll leave these premises for good. Understood?"

"B-B-But what about them?" Kat pointed down at Cloud and company; she refused to let those four walk away unscathed.

"I will deal with them on my own. Now, I recommend you value my words, and leave at once."

"Fine then...don't know why I'm even doing this..."

Heeding Zant's advice, Kat flew away from the park, albeit with some regret. Once Kat was gone, Zant floated down to the ground, to greet Cloud and company.

"Uh, I don't know how to tell you this, but...thank you?" Link thanked Zant, feeling awkward inside. Thanking an arch-nemesis of his was unheard of for him.

"No need to thank me, boy, I was just doing what needed to be done," responded Zant, before walking away from the others. "But don't think for a second that I'm an ally of yours."

"None of us actually thought that...we're just glad that we're all okay. Still appreciate the assist, though."

"I wouldn't consider it an assist...I think 'being a good Samaritan' is more like it. Was it out of my nature? Yes, of course..."

"Why are you in this town in the first place?" Cloud asked Zant, interrupting the Twili. "Obviously you don't want to hurt Link. So what's your goal?"

"My goal...is something I cannot tell you boys about. For now, it will stay a secret. Just, whatever you do, don't think of me as an ally...

After giving his parting words, Zant summoned a Twilight portal, and entered therein. Link, Cloud, and the buddy cops were all left perplexed - Zant came in, told Kat to shoo, gave Link and company the deuces and dipped. And he told Link and company not to think of him as an 'ally'. Lots to digest.

Cloud: That was strange...Zant had no business being in Seattle, but he was here anyways. Doesn't want us to call him an ally, huh? Sounds like he's got an ulterior motive...

Link: Was Zant watching my weird dance this whole time? No doubt he thinks less of me as a person now.

The bridge the Carpenters had been working on was fully completed, and people were walking on it already, walking from the mansion to the tower and vice versa. One of the first to try out the bridge was Jigglypuff, who dragged a sleeping Robin across the bridge to the tower balcony where Hammer Bro and Elec Man were.

"Jigglypuff Jigglypuff!" Jigglypuff said to Hammer Bro and Elec Man, as she pointed at Robin. "Jigglypuff Jigglypuff Jigglypuff!"

"No Jigglypuff, we don't have twenty bucks on us," responded Elec Man, as Hammer Bro looked at the Robot Master like he was crazy. "But we can take in Robin, and let him stay with us until he wakes up."

"You can understand what Jigglypuff is saying?" Hammer Bro asked Elec Man, in complete disbelief. Elec Man was acting very sheepish "How?"

"I can understand Pokemon speak...it's a, uh, it's a long story." Jigglypuff plopped Robin down at Hammer Bro and Elec Man's feet.

"Jigglypuff Jigglypuff!" Jigglypuff pointed at the sleeping Robin, demanding that the mage be taken in into the tower at once.

"Fine, we'll take in Robin...and we'll find someone with twenty bucks." Elec Man grabbed Robin's feet, and Hammer Bro grabbed Robin's hands, as the two carried the mage inside the tower. "We might get change for twenty, just letting you know!"

With her deed done, Jigglypuff turned around and walked on the bridge, returning to the mansion. On her way, she saw Toro and Sir Dan, with the latter still holding Peppy over his shoulder.

"This bridge seems free of people," remarked Toro, who along with Sir Dan had a hard time escaping the mansion unseen. "I think we should just jump down from this bridge! Whaddaya think, Sir Dan?"

"Hold it!" shouted Sir Dan, as he and Toro came to a stop. "It's a walking pink balloon!" Sir Dan pointed at Jigglypuff, who was standing a few inches away from him and Toro.

"Not just any walking pink balloon...it's a Pokemon, Jigglypuff!" exclaimed Toro, as Jigglypuff put on a mean face to intimidate Toro. "Uh oh, looks like she already knows who I am..."

"Ah, Jigglypuff, just the hero I needed!" smiled Peppy, lifting his head up to see Jigglypuff. He couldn't possibly be serious.

"Don't be silly, Peppy - we're the heroes you really need!"

Toro and Sir Dan turned around, and panicked when they saw Sonic, Spyro, Hunter, Yoshi, Slippy, and Polar Bear running unto the bridge. The six had finally caught up with the manor duo, as Peppy turned his head around and saw them.

"You boys are here to rescue me too?" asked Peppy, getting all gleeful inside. "Being kidnapped has made me feel very popular today!"

"Give me back my friend, you dweebs!" Slippy pointed at Toro and Sir Dan, who both laughed at the frog's command. Gotta be the voice.

"Go get 'em, Sir Dan!" ordered Toro, as Sir Dan whipped out his trusty sword. The fact that he could wield his sword while holding Peppy over his shoulder was admirable.

"CHARGE!" Sir Dan shouted his battle cry, running towards Sonic and company while swinging his sword wildly...only for Sonic to use a Spin Dash on Sir Dan, and make him drop his sword. Spyro then breathed fire on Sir Dan's feet, making the swordsman fall on his butt as he dropped Peppy on the bridge.

"Want some more?" Spyro dared Sir Dan, who nervously backed away towards Toro. Peppy stood up on his feet, standing behind Spyro.

"You okay, Peppy?" Sonic asked the hare, who was very alarmed; Sonic seldom asked Peppy how he was feeling.

"Never felt any better!" replied Peppy, giving Sonic a thumbs up. Sonic smiled in response. "Thanks for askin'!"

Fiora: *looking at pet cage in her hands* I wonder if Master Hand would let me keep a pet... *looks up at camera* ...we have enough pets in the mansion anyways. Do you think Master Hand is more of Rottweiler person, or a Dachshund person? *looks back at the pet cage* Definitely a Rottweiler person...

"So, you really like that fat rabbit, huh?" Toro asked Sonic and company, as a completely-in-denial Peppy checked out his body frame. "Well forget you guys! Sir Dan and I, we'll just waltz our way over to that tower over there, and maybe...we can find...someone...who's...even smarter..."

Toro started to feel drowsy, before the cat yawned and fell asleep on the bridge - along with Sir Dan, who feel asleep in a snap. This was the mighty works of Jigglypuff, who had used Sing to subdue the manor duo.

"Nice one Jigglypuff, good thinking!" Hunter commended the balloon Pokemon. Jigglypuff, who couldn't help herself, took out a black marker and drew doodles all over Toro's face.

"Since those two are asleep, what should we do with them?" asked Polar Bear, as Peppy looked down from the bridge. He saw a bunch of police cars near Mario's house, where Mario and Phoenix were explaining things to the policemen.

"I know a good way to keep them from bothering us again..." replied Peppy, watching as Mario and Phoenix explained the whole Peach disappearing conundrum to the police officers.

With Toro and Sir Dan still asleep, Peppy took the two down to Mario's house, before the police could leave. When Toro and Sir Dan woke up, the two were arrested by the police, as they were handcuffed and taken away.

"Arresting a cat? That's unheard of!" whined Toro, as he and Sir Dan were shoved into a police car by a policeman. "Why must you go against the order?"

"Tell that to the judge, bub!" the policeman barked at Toro, before slamming the police door. The police cars soon drove off, as Peppy stood outside and watched the cars leave.

"That should take care of that," remarked Peppy with his hands on his hips, hoping not to see neither Toro nor Sir Dan for a foreseeable future. Sonic and Slippy joined Peppy outside, walking to the hare.

"Sorry for accusing you for snitching on us," Sonic apologized to Peppy, who looked at the hedgehog. "Turns out the real snitch all along was..."

"Snitching on you for what?" questioned Peppy, looking very confused. "For working with Bowser and gathering those fake Infinity Stones?"

"Uh, yeah, something like that...but we learned our lesson. Finger-pointing is always never a good thing!"

"What he said!" exclaimed Slippy, who didn't know why he came outside with Sonic in the first place. Maybe he just wanted to see Peppy.

"I can't say I'm surprised - you learn something new everyday," remarked Peppy, with a grin on his face. The hare then saw his fellow pilots Fox and Falco leave Luigi's house, with Fox carrying the Keurig Kold in his hands.

"Sup fellas...care for some soda?" Fox asked Peppy and company, who were looking at the Keurig Kold out of intrigue. "C'mon guys, say yes, don't want Falco to have thrown a bunch of tantrums for nothing..."

Lucina: Pretty cool that Yu is a resident of the mansion now; he and his friends really left a good impression on us, especially with how they handled the whole deflated footballs thing two years ago. Minato, I'm a little unsure on him, but he has been very pleasant.

Lucina was hanging out with mansion newbies Yu and Minato right now, in the dining room. The princess offered Yu and Minato some baked spaghetti.

"The baked spaghetti is a little something I whipped up in the kitchen recently," Lucina told Yu and Minato, who were eating some of the baked spaghetti Lucina had made. The princess must be trying her hand at cooking; she should replace Palutena one day. "What do you think?"

"This is...very delicious," complimented Minato, as he nodded his head in approval. "I can really taste all the flavors and seasonings."

"Agreed, and the cheese is very well done," complimented Yu, sampling the cheese. "This might be the best spaghetti I've ever eaten."

"Thanks, you two, I really appreciate it!" thanked Lucina, before she lowered her head. "Sadly my boyfriend won't eat the baked spaghetti...he's not really a noodle person. Never was, never will be..."

"Who, Robin? I'm sure he'll come around eventually." Suddenly, Lucina heard noises coming from the kitchen, and ran to the kitchen to see what was going on. There she saw Crash, standing near the stove, about to pour a tray of baked spaghetti down his mouth.

"Crash, leave my baked spaghetti alone!" frowned Lucina, as she tried to pry her tray of baked spaghetti out of Crash's hands. As she wrangled with Crash, Coco poked her head inside the kitchen.

"Lucina, I got call from Elec Man - he said that Robin is sleeping in his room," Coco informed the princess, who managed to take her baked spaghetti from Crash. "Said that Robin was taking up space in his room, and he doesn't feel like dragging him back to the mansion."

"Tell Elec Man I'll be there shortly." Coco would leave the kitchen, and just then, something spurred inside Lucina's head. "Wait, Coco, can you come back?"

"Anything else you want me to tell Elec Man?" Coco poked her head inside the kitchen once more.

"No...Morgan and Marc are still around, right? Can you tell them to come with me to the tower?" Hoo boy...

"Someone call for Morgan and Marc?" asked Pit, as he and Knuckles showed up at the kitchen entrance. They were still on the hunt for Robin. "They should still be in the gaming room."

Lucina took the twins, Morgan and Marc, to Elec Man's room in the tower, with Pit and Knuckles coming along because Robin. They all saw Robin sleeping away on the floor; the mage would sleep on a bed, but Elec Man and his roommate Zero didn't need beds.

"Hey, it's the twenty bucks Robin owed me!" grinned Knuckles, spotting a twenty dollar bill on Robin's arm as he picked it up. "Couldn't even give it to me in person...what a bum!"

"He is not a bum..." Morgan frowned at Knuckles, as she and Marc knelt down near Robin's head. The twins turned the mage over on his back, before Marc gently poked Robin's face.

"Whuzzat..." mumbled Robin, slowly lifting his eyes open. The mage had no idea where he was; last thing he remembered, he was in the hallway speaking with Jigglypuff. Robin didn't expect to wake up in the tower...

...nor did he expect to see his kids from the future, Morgan and Marc, staring at him.

"Hi dad!" Morgan and Marc greeted their dad, speaking in perfect unison. Robin looked at the twins, his eyes wide with shock.

"Aah!" the mage screamed in response to the twins, before fainting in an instant with his head falling sideways on the floor. Morgan and Marc looked at Robin for a brief moment, before giggling.

"Oh, Robin..." Lucina shook her head at her boyfriend, facepalming. She didn't know what to think of Robin's reaction to Morgan and Marc.

But, at least the twins finally saw and greeted Robin, in person...that had to account for something.
