Back in the underground cave, King Loki opened his eyes to find Gorr had pushed the Necrosword through his chest, free from his prison yet covered in black wounds. Both hosts held onto the sword as Loki winced in pain.

King Loki groaned. "You're a stubborn worm, aren't you? Just like someone else I know."

"I defy you both. As long as I have breath in me, I will kill every single god, even All-Black, if necessary!" Gorr held Lævateinn in his other hand, preparing to burn All-Black, before Loki halted its movement telekinetically.

"Now that is a sword for a god, not for you." He peered down at the Necrosword. "'A house divided against itself cannot stand.' All-Black, I require your full power to fulfill our glorious purpose; Gorr has renounced you, and we don't need him any longer. Leave him, and these counterproductive interruptions shall cease."

Gorr grunted as the remnants of All-Black gathered from his body into the sword he held, and his eyes brightened as he became fully mortal again. The Necrosword pulsed a black aura, and Gorr lost his grip as it struck him and blew him away. King Loki smirked, removing the weapon from his chest, and the wound healed instantly.

"Marvelous." He pulled Gorr back to him with telekinesis, grabbing him by the head.

"Good riddance!" Gorr exclaimed. "You will not dare call me a god again!"

"No, not anymore, but still, you are selfish, useless, and a hypocrite. And a murdering lunatic. Good riddance indeed!"

With one swift stroke of the sword, he severed Gorr's head. Then he left the cave with Thor and Detective Loki's bodies, their consciousnesses still in King Loki's head. He gathered all of his dark energy into his hands and returned to his mindspace.

"Sorry to keep you waiting; it just couldn't be helped."

"Are you going to help us stop all this now, Brother?"

"It's too late to stop it now: the time is upon us."

"No, it's not too late!"

"What time? What are you talking about?" Detective Loki asked.

"The God Bomb: it is now complete. Forgive me for the deception, please. When All-Black goes through, be ready."

"What's a 'God Bomb?' Loki, answer me!" Thor shouted, but a bright green light flashed around them, and they were instantly brought back to reality. Thor and Detective Loki looked up and gazed upon a humongous ball of magic and darkness, almost the size of a small moon!

"This… is the culmination of every ounce of dark magic in me and the full force of All-Black's darkness! The God Bomb, as I call it, has the power to destroy any god in existence, even the two of you together. Now I, Loki, King of Darkness, pass judgement to destroy once and for all the most hypocritical god to ever live!" He raised All-Black as Thor and Detective Loki stood defensively, a smug grin on his face as he held the weapon. "All-Black the Necrosword!" He exclaimed as he suddenly tossed All-Black into the enormous mass of green and black energy! The Necrosword propelled itself back towards him, attempting to latch onto him with black appendages, but he blasted the Symbiote back with his most frigid icy blast. "In case you two didn't notice, that was your cue!"

The other two sons of Odin exchanged a look and nodded, and they joined in with a stream of fire and a bolt of lightning, the trio of elemental attacks pushing All-Black into the bomb. Little by little, the Odinsons overpowered the Symbiote, having unwittingly used most of its power to create its own intended destruction, and All-Black was trapped, beginning to disintegrate in the destructive mass of dark energy. Desperate to survive, the creature dropped a tiny blob from its body, which fell towards Gorr's corpse, but a black appendage from Grievance snatched it up and flung it back into the God Bomb, which underwent full detonation in the far reaches of space, finishing off All-Black once and for all!

The Asgardian triplicity panted, King Loki plopping down on the ground after using up all of his power, the whites of his eyes returned as the evil Symbiote was purged from his system. "Well done, everyone. The universe is saved, happy ending, and all the cliches that follow!"

"Hold on… was this your plan all along?" Detective Loki asked him.

"Again, I apologize for the deception, but I realized the only way for us to destroy All-Black was with its own power. Yes, the God Bomb, the ultimate weapon created by a god for a god! And I had to kill his other host first, just in case."

"So that display of emotion… you were meaning to get All-Black's attention the entire time?!" Detective Loki deduced.

"Not the entire time, but since I realized he couldn't be defeated while he had a host to protect him."

"So this whole charade of being angry with me was one big lie!?" Thor griped, upset.

"No, I was quite upset. As I said earlier, my words may lie, but my emotions are always genuine: if they weren't, the Necrosword would never have been drawn to me. In a way, I manipulated both All-Black and myself at once. It did feel wonderful to get all that out of my system, though, quite therapeutic!"

Grievance faced the trickster. "Quite a big brain you've got there! I think I'll EAT IT!"

"Grievance, no." His host held him back. "A Loki brain is far too valuable to be sustenance!"

King Loki turned to his variant. "I'm sorry for stabbing you like that. I meant to just knock you into the ceiling: I'm blaming All-Black for the rest. At least you had Grievance to heal you!"

"That doesn't make it hurt any less!"

"Of course not. My apologies."

"Hey, you still haven't apologized for stabbing me back in New York!" Thor reminded them.

"Yours was a mere dagger: he didn't run you through, as he did with me!" Detective Loki stated. "But I am sorry for that."

"I am as well. And for lying to you about our father dying when he fell into the Odinsleep. I mostly just wanted to prove myself to our father, wanting you out of the way for him to notice my contributions to the kingdom, but that was no excuse for almost killing you. I am truly sorry for that, and for all the betrayals I've dealt you since!" King Loki sincerely said.

"I hope you can forgive us. We've learned our lesson, I wholeheartedly assure you."

Thor nodded. "All is forgiven, Brothers."

"Thank you. Now, shall we return to New Asgard to relay the good news?" King Loki suggested.

"You and Thor go ahead. I promised a friend Gorr's brain." King Loki and Thor exchanged mildly disgusted faces and exited through a magical portal.

"Oh boy, I can taste it already!" Grievance licked his lips as his Loki pulled out a bottle of magic chocolate shell topping from his magical stash, covering the brain after his Symbiote removed it. "One last thing…" Loki also grabbed a can of whipped cream and a cherry, decorating the chocolate-covered brain like an ice cream sundae. "Awesomesauce!" Grievance gleefully gobbled it down, Loki stifling a grimace as his taste buds picked up the weird flavor combination. Thankfully, it was eaten fairly quickly, and Loki relaxed when it was over.

"Mmm~ that was absolutely deeeeelicious!"

"That actually wasn't quite as awful as I imagined, but how about we just stick to chocolate covered fruit and nuts for a while?"

"Fine."

In New Asgard, Mobius, Sylvie, and Jörmungandr rushed over to meet Thor and King Loki as they returned.

"Hello again, Jörmungandr!" King Loki stroke the serpent's head. "You sure have grown since I last saw you!"

"Where's our Loki?" Sylvie asked. "Is he alright?"

"Yes, the creepy shadow monster that lives in his chest is eating Gorr's brain." Thor told her. "How's Jane?"

"She's resting now, but her state is dire." Sif answered, joining them. "She is in the hospital; she longs see you."

"Oh no, Jane!" Thor flew to her location with Stormbreaker, speeding to her bedside, despite the force knocking over several people walking in the hallways. Her friends Darcy and Erik Selvig were already there staying with her, glad to see Thor arrive. "Jane, I'm here!"

Darcy whistled. "Hey, Mr. Muscleman is back! And there's Mewmew!"

"Thor." Jane weakly smiled as she looked into the caring blue eyes of her past lover. "Did we win? Did you kick his ass?"

"We did! Loki and I blew him to oblivion!"

"Loki?!" Selvig stood up, startled. "I thought you said he was dead!"

"Join the club. Soon we'll be knitting sweaters." Thor joked as the others joined them. "How are you doing?"

"Thor, she's… she's not-" Selvig started before Jane interrupted.

"I- I've been better. Doc told me to get some rest, so…" Jane plopped her head back down. "Thor, I'm so happy to have met you, to find you again and help you do something… just extraordinary! To help you save the whole world and help people in a way I never could as an astrophysicist!"

"Yes, yes, you were magnificent, Jane, the mightiest Thor in all the nine realms! But now, now you need your rest to fight this cancer instead of angry aliens. You need to be the mighty physicist I fell in love with and save your world with science!"

"Thor… you are my world." Jane said. Thor leaned in and kissed her lips, feeling a rush of bittersweet sadness. A tear fell from Jane's eye as their lips parted. "I just wish I had more time to…explore…" Her eyes slowly closed.

"Jane? You're- are you asleep? Doctor!" Thor shouted, but Selvig shook his head as he and Darcy began to cry. "No- NO! NO, JANE! No-" Thor cried, helpless to save her.

"Thor, I'm so sorry." King Loki patted his back, and Thor pulled him close, weeping into his brother's armor.

However, in her spirit, Jane opened her eyes, and she saw nothing except for a figure on a winged horse descending. "Who are you?"

"I was a lot of things." Brunhilde responded. "I was an Asgardian, a Valkyrie, a scrapper, a Revenger, and a king. You can call me Brunhilde. You may not have died in battle, but you fought bravely, especially for a mortal, even while it was killing you. After I died, I was hoping for someone to take my place as Valkyrie, and after your sacrifice, I can't think of anyone more qualified than the Mighty Doctor Jane Foster."

"W-wow! That's… me, a Valkyrie? Like, protecting Asgard, kicking more butt with Thor, and escorting the dead to Valhalla, Valkyrie?"

"And you get a pretty sweet flying horse. You want the job?"

Jane grinned.

Suddenly, a rainbow-colored light shone down on the hospital bed, and when it faded, Jane stood in shining silver armor, a new helmet, and a red cape, with her natural brown hair in a long, lovely braid, and she looked stronger than ever!

"JANE!" Thor hugged and kissed her, confused but ecstatic to see her alive and well. "Jane, you're-"

"Brunhilde made me a Valkyrie!" Jane excitedly told him. "I guess I'm not getting that rest anytime soon! But I can go on all sorts of adventures with you and make all kinds of new discoveries along the way, cancer free! Science and magic for the win!"

Thor nodded through joyful tears. "Definitely a win!"

"That's… incredible!" Selvig mustered, hardly believing his eyes.

"Aw yeah, that's my super smart, Valkyrie girl!" Darcy cheered.

As the couple celebrated, Detective Loki walked in. "Hey, what'd I miss?"

"Oh great, now there's two of him?!" Selvig put his hands on his head in terror.

"Thor, you have twin brothers?" Darcy gaped. "The closest thing I ever had to a twin is my Mii on the Switch! Hi, Loki twins!"

"Hello. Hello Selvig. Actually, there's three of us here, only the third Loki is female and my fiancée. Sorry about the mind control incident: I was in a dark place."

"As am I." King Loki joined. "If it's any consolation, Thanos was in my head far longer than I was in yours, but I offer my sincerest apologies nonetheless."

"Uhm, okay…"

"Would you like a hug too?"

"Oh no, I- I'm fine, I'm good, thank you." Selvig smiled nervously.

"We're not going to stab you. We promise." The Lokis simultaneously told him.

"No thanks! We're all good, Loki, and… Loki…"

"I'll take a hug!" Darcy volunteered, ignoring Selvig's quiet warnings and embracing King Loki. "Come on, Selvig, get over here!"

"Darcy, he's- he's dangerous!"

"Yeah yeah, that's what you said about Thor when you met him, and he's like the sweetest guy ever, even after I tased him and Jane ran him over twice! And he just saved the world!"

"Selvig, Selvig, Selvig!" Thor, Jane, and Darcy chanted together.

"Now now, don't force him if he doesn't want to." King Loki advised. "I'm only offering to ease his fear of me: I don't want to frighten him further!"

Dr. Selvig sighed. "Watch him closely, Thor. Just a short one." He cautiously inched towards King Loki, allowing Loki to embrace him for about 2 seconds before he ran back to his seat.

"Hey, Loki from the past!" Detective Loki turned to Sylvie, who confidently posed with her blonde hair extended down past her feet, and his jaw dropped. "Am I inspiring any fantastical daydreams?"

He snapped back to attention in a moment. "Sylvie, I'm sorry if I made you jealous back when we met this timeline's Loki. You're the only one for this Loki, no matter how long or short your hair flows!"

She undid the growth illusion, her hair back to shoulder length. "Heh, don't worry. I'm just glad you didn't see my fantasy with him."

"Ehehehe…" Detective Loki laughed uncomfortably.

"Here." Sylvie conjured Brunhilde's once-broken Dragonfang and placed it in Jane's hand. As she held it, it began to magically reform, like Mjolnir did previously. "Can't be a Valkyrie without a proper weapon." She smiled. "I've got one of my own from my own dragon."

"Whoa! Thank you!"

Sylvie nodded. "Do you think I could train with you, fight alongside you sometime? I've always wanted to be a Valkyrie!"

"Sure, yeah!"

"Loki, I cast fire!" Mobius excitedly told Detective Loki. "Back during the battle, I lost the candle and I lit the cannon with magic!"

"That's amazing, Mobius! Your very first spell, congratulations! I'm so proud of you!"

"Yeah, thanks. Maui's out on the sea, enjoying his new jet ski."

"I'm sure! What'd you promise Fiamma?"

"Ohhh, right. I told her I'd introduce her to a bunch of Lokis until she finds one who wants to be with her, or until she runs out of either variants or patience, I guess."

"That's correct." Fiamma affirmed. "There's still a whole multiversal timeline of Lokis out there!"

"Well then, it shouldn't be long before your amount of rejections surpasses even Fandral's record!" Loki sassed her.

"Lokester, do you mind!?" Fandral and his entourage overheard, and the ladies began to giggle.

"Ehehehe. Sorry Fanny."

Beta Ray Bill approached Detective Loki next. "I am glad I could help you and your brother, but now my debt has been repaid, and I must return to my time."

"Naturally. There's just one more matter to deal with." Detective Loki grinned. "Our payment."
