Author's Note:

Because I couldn't answer reviews last week, thanks to my Internet being down, I have a lot to answer...

"Any reason why you don't ship Mario with Pauline? (Many do after what Peach did in Odyssey's ending and Peach abandoned her kingdom without telling the Toads that she was vacationing) will Sae or any of the other Phantom Thieves spy on Joker and Makoto's date when the Persona 5 Royal chapter happens? Is Lah the ghost girl going to appear? (She's from the Sonic short 'Night of the Werehog' so she counts as a game character) will Kasumi Yoshizawa finally be a resident when she appears again? (Call me slow for asking) and finally, what are your thoughts on GameStop staying open amid this crisis and the idea that Final Fantasy VII Remake will have limited physical copies?"

Eh, I just prefer Mario and Peach more. Sae might be spying on Joker and Makoto's date (which sadly couldn't happen in the last chapter). Lah might appear. Kasumi is already a resident...so that question has already been answered. I could see what GameStop would want to be open during the crisis, yet at the same time the crisis may serve as a death kneel for the company. And I have nothing to say about FFVII having limited physical copies. Here's the second review from this anonymous reviewer:

"Will we have more scenes of Kasumi interacting with Inkling Boy? How will Morgana be able to see Sothis? Do you plan to do another Xenoblade-like chapter when the Definitive Edition comes out? Will the Trails of Cold Steel III chapter happen when the Switch port comes out in June? An XCOM or Borderlands chapter? Will the Catherine cast show up when the Switch port comes out in July? And finally, what did you like about the mini Direct that Nintendo had?"

Most likely. Haven't figured that one out yet. There will be a Xenoblade chapter in May. There will also be a Trails of Cold Steel III chapter, in June. Might do a Borderlands chapter. Highly doubt that anyone from Catherine will show up. And I liked the 2K games featured in the Direct. And Burnout Paradise. Another anonymous review:

"Can you make a coronavirus chapter since entertainments and sports are suspended? I want to know how Smashers and Master Hand will react and how they can stop the spread such as the hand-washing clips?"

There won't be any chapters directly related to the coronavirus. Nobody in the story will be getting sick from the virus either. Next is Derick Lindsey:

"...do I see a potential chapter in the works in the future with Link being head of the mansion as well as Cloud's reaction to Link being picked over him?"

That is a very interesting chapter for me to consider. We'll see what happens down the road. Moving on:

"Also the next fighter for Smash is going to be someone from ARMS coming out in June probably during the E3 direct who do you think it's going to be I feel like it might be Ribbon Girl since she's a major character in the game."

Ribbon Girl already has a Mii fighter costume, so she has a good chance. But I think the new fighter might be a new ARMS character, from an ARMS sequel...although I could be wrong. Here is El Pollo Campero:

"So how ya doing with this whole Corona situation going on here in the States? Anything you plan to do while in quarantine?"

I've been handling it pretty well here. Every day feels like a typical summer day in July, but with no warm weather and no baseball. As of right now, I got no big plans or anything. The next review comes from someone who...well, is actually named Anonymous:

"Will you do a followup to the Dexit chapter, since the National Dex has returned in Home and there will be free updates to come with the SwSh DLC?"

I may do one whenever the first DLC for Sword and Shield is released. Last up is Prometheus:

"1) Make Knuckles do a remix of Pumpkin Hill
2) Shouldn't their be a room where every fighter can fight in for training?

3) My new album got deleted, strange I didn't tell you to listen to it...
4) With Stranger Things 4 announced, could you do one chapter relating to it in my asking?
5) I would think of Eggman as a "fighter" where he has similar properties to Pokemon Trainer and uses Sonic's robotic counterparts...
6) From past experiences, the only thing I know Master Hand despises are Kirby Villains and Capitalism, so do something with Shopkeeper Magalor"

1) Ah, Pumpkin Hill...best song from Sonic Adventure 2, aside from City Escape. I might have Knuckles do a remix of that song.
2) I believe there is a room in the mansion where the fighters can train at...I could be wrong.
3) Your new album got deleted? Sorry to hear that...
4) Uhhhhh...sure?
5) Not gonna lie, Eggman being a Smash fighter would be VERY fascinating.
6) Forgot that Magalor was a shopkeeper...he might have a run-in with Master Hand. Who knows.

Episode 224: Corneria

The day has come, the day had finally arrived - the day in which Fox and Krystal get married, and become bride and groom forever. After nine or so months of planning, it was time for the big moment...a moment so big, that it simply couldn't be celebrated on earth.

Due in part to the pandemic going on, Fox opted to relocate the wedding from earth to Corneria, something that Krystal didn't mind one bit. Fox managed to secure a wedding venue in Corneria, which was a country club - one big enough for many wedding guests. Considering that Fox and Krystal struggled to find a suitable venue beforehand, moving the wedding to Corneria served as a bit of a blessing in disguise.

Fox was already at the country club, getting things all situated. Fox's pals - Falco, Peppy, and Slippy - were also there, hanging around with Fox at the altar. Also present was Mario, the officiant of the wedding; the plumber had brought Peach along with him, as well as Spyro, Hunter, and Ruby and her friends. Yes, Poochy was allowed to come as well.

"Have you seen the groomsmen anywhere?" Fox asked Mario, looking around the country club for the groomsmen in question. Soon three men came forth to Mario and Fox, all wearing matching blue suits...Chrom, Ken Masters, and even Professor Kukui. "Ah, there you guys are!"

"Why do we have to wearing these matching suits for?" Professor Kukui questioned Fox, in one of the rare moments where he wasn't shirtless. "Are we trying to send a message to the crowd or something?"

"Of course you're sending a message...a message of solidarity. Weddings are all about solidarity and unity, and we gotta let the guests know what's up."

Professor Kukui: Believe it or not, I was a last-minute groomsman...Yes, it was Falco who signed me up for the duty. Guy could've asked any married man at the mansion to do the job...but my wife said she didn't mind being a bridesmaid, so I had no choice but to oblige. I'm not a particularly greedy person, but I better be getting some kind of compensation for doing this...

"Just so you know, I've already signed-a the marriage license," Mario said to Fox, giving the pilot and husband-to-be a heads up. "Thought I should get that all taken care of."

"Look at you, thinking one step ahead!" gleamed Fox, very impressed by Mario's thinking as he slapped the plumber on his chest. Mario yelped in pain, as he grabbed the place where Fox struck him. "Oh man, did I ruin your tuxedo? I'm so sorry, dude..."

Elsewhere at the country club, the Cornerian workers were setting things up so that the country club would look like an actual wedding setting. Putting up flowers, hanging up the white draping, that kind of stuff. Spyro and Hunter watched as the Cornerians work, as Hunter for some strange reason felt bothered.

"Those guys are starting to creep me out, Spyro..." the cheetah told the purple dragon, who gave his best friend a questionable look. "...I've never been around furries before, especially this many."

"That sure means a lot, coming from you," remarked Spyro, who was trying to find some kind of irony behind Hunter's confession. "Also, I'm pretty sure that those guys working aren't..." Suddenly Hunter ran up to one of the Cornerians - a wolf - and grabbed his head.

"Don't worry man, I got you!" Hunter tried to pull off the wolf's head, but little did he know that he was dealing with an actual wolf, not some person dressed up in a wolf costume. The groomsmen saw what Hunter was doing, knowing that the cheetah was out of line.

"Hunter let him go!" Chrom shouted at the cheetah, as he and Ken ran over to Hunter and pried him away from the wolf. Ken would drag Hunter away, as Chrom approached the wolf. "Hey, are you okay?" asked Chrom.

"Yeah, I'm fine..." replied the wolf, who was taking the time to catch his breath. "...that cheetah really attacked me out of nowhere." Thinking that Hunter was setting a bad example, Fox frowned and looked towards Mario.

"To be fair, he is on your guest list..." was all that Mario could say, nervously smiling as Ken was now taking Hunter out of the country club altogether.

"I'll save you man, you don't have to be a furry forever!" Hunter vowed to the wolf as Ken carried him out of the country club, with the wolf looking bewildered as Spyro sighed and facepalmed.

While Fox was already in Corneria, Krystal was still back in Seattle, making sure that she was ready to go. Gotta make sure she was stunning and beautiful. Fox was standing outside the country club, speaking with Krystal on his phone.

"They wanted me to do one more mani pedi, in the beauty salon," Krystal said to Fox, who was glancing at the time on his watch. "Don't know how long it'll take, but they're apparently worried about my nails."

"Screw your nails, we gotta get married NOW!" Fox spoke into the phone, containing himself so he wouldn't feel impatient and impulsive. "Did Princess Diana miss out on her wedding, because she wanted her nails done? I think not."

"The wedding won't start in less than three hours. We'll have enough time." Fox begged to differ, as he let out a deep sigh. "I'll be done soon. Just don't do anything reckless until I arrive, okay?"

"Should be telling that to Falco and Slippy...alright then, see ya later." After Krystal said her goodbyes, Fox put his cellphone back in his pocket, before letting out another deep sigh as he shook his head. Fox couldn't afford to wait any longer, not today.

"Yo, Mr. Future Husband!" Falco called out to Fox, as he joined his best friend outside the country club. "Who was that you were speaking with on the phone?"

"Krystal - apparently she's getting a mani pedi done. I think she's getting her nails filed...or is it her claws? Man, I don't even know..."

"When do you think the others will be showing up? Best time to find a seat is right now - early bird always gets the worm!"

"You would know something about that..." Fox looked over, and saw a large portal summoned in the distance. "...would you look at that, here they are now."

Exiting out from the portal first was Master Hand, with Mega Man leading a horde of mansion and tower residents out from the portal. All the residents were sharply dressed, although there was one minor exception...

"Fox and Krystal are finally getting married, let's go!" cheered Sonic, who was wearing non-traditional wedding attire as usual. This time, the hedgehog was wearing a red dashiki - the same dashiki Knuckles wore for his Kwanzaa celebration.

Sonic: I understand that it's a wedding and all, but sometimes you gotta stand out. When everyone else is all dressed in black, and trying to look all fancy, you need somebody to break the mold. Which is where I come in!

"Sonic, what did I tell you about dressing professionally for my wedding?" Fox sternly asked the hedgehog, wanting to leave a good impression on the Cornerians. So far, Sonic and Hunter were ruining things for Fox.

"Whaddaya mean, dressing professionally?" questioned Sonic, who thought nothing was wrong about wearing a dashiki to a wedding. Shaymin was the only person who shared the same thoughts. "It's not like I'm showing up to a job or anything."

"Can you boys not start a scene before the wedding?" Master Hand kindly asked Sonic and Fox, as the slew of residents were entering the country club. "If we can just have ONE wedding without any unnecessary drama..."

"Master Hand, Master Hand, we have an emergency!" Toon Link alerted the giant hand, as he and Young Link came forth with a person who was handcuffed. "We caught this person sneaking their way here, to Corneria."

"An intruder sneaked their way here?" Master Hand took a closer look at the handcuffed person...and saw that it was someone wearing an Organization XIII cloak. "A member of Organization XIII?!"

"Yes sir - we believe that they hopped unto the teleportation pad, at the last minute," Young Link explained to Master Hand, who was filled with embroiled rage. "That's how they managed to get away without being caught!"

"How on earth did that security system not detect them? Bleh, no matter...you boys take care of that Organization punk, at once. Can't have them summoning any monsters and ruin the wedding."

So Toon Link and Young Link escorted the mysterious Organization XIII member away, looking to take care of them. Master Hand couldn't help but feel that something was a little off; the Organization XIII member was showing a LOT of tranquility.

"Hey Mega Man, when will the others arrive in Corneria?" Master Hand asked the blue bomber, taking his attention away from the Organization XIII member that the buddy cops had caught. "Can't leave the rest of our wedding guests behind!"

"They'll be showing up soon, in a couple of minutes," replied Mega Man, who was ensuring that the residents got inside the country club safe and sound. "We just brought in the first wave; once the device cools down, one of my friends will bring in the next wave."

"I take it that Geo Stelar is one of the men bringing in the guests?" Knowing that Master Hand would be distraught, Mega Man nodded his head. "Oy vey..."

"Don't worry, Geo actually knows how to operate the teleportation device this time. Or so I've been told..."

The buddy cops took the Organization XIII member to the back of the country club, where they were let inside by a Cornerian. Once inside the country club, the buddy cops took the Organization member inside a room, and Young Link locked the door after making sure that the coast was clear.

"Alright...I think we're good now," the Hylian said, before directing his attention to the Organization XIII member. "Okay Anna, you can take off your hood now."

"Amazing how nobody could tell who I was with this on..." remarked the Organization XIII member...who was actually Anna, disguised as someone from the Organization. The merchant took off the hood, and exhaled.

"We're just gonna keep you hidden here, until it's safe for you to come out," Toon Link told Anna, hearing some commotion from behind the locked door. "If Master Hand sees you, you're dead meat..."

"Why couldn't you just leave me at the mansion, while you boys attend the wedding? I could handle being alone."

"You should never trust a woman, whenever she's all alone...that's what my gut says. Tell me that all the time."

"Cool, my gut tells me to eat more carbs and less fiber," Young Link said to Toon Link, before he proudly patted his belly. "Thanks to my gut's sage advice, I have enough energy saved for solving crime!"

"That's weird, my gut tells me the exact opposite...it's no wonder I've been passing gas as of late. Kept thinking that I was stepping on invisible whoopie cushions!"

"Pardon me, boys, but how long will I have to stay inside this room?" Anna asked the buddy cops, tired of hearing them talk about their gut instincts and whatnot. "Will I be stuck in here the entire wedding?"

"Hopefully not, but we might sneak you out if the time calls for it," replied Toon Link, not wishing for Anna to go insane from being stuck inside a room. There were already enough people around the world going crazy from being isolated in their own home. "Just stick tight, for now."

"Also, this is just a curious question...who wore this black cloak?" Anna took a sudden liking to the Organization XIII cloak, finding the sleeves to be the most remarkable trait about it. "Must've been worn by someone truly evil!"

"Nah, it's just a cloak worn by Jakob. Anything that jerk touches is completely rotten. That being said, Hutch and I now have to owe you an apology..."

Toon Link: Before we have a wedding, Master Hand does one last check around the mansion to make sure that it's completely devoid of life...safe for the pets, and the Pokemon. We always find a babysitter for the former, on the cheap. Crazy Hand will be the one inspecting the mansion this time, and we couldn't afford to let him know about Anna. Can't have him snitching, you know what I mean?

In a separate room of the country club, Iori was with his jazz band, rehearsing for the wedding. Iori was on the sax, Donkey Kong was on the drums, Red the Pokemon Trainer wielded the trumpet, K.K. Slider had his guitar, and Pit had his trombone ready to go.

"Quick question, before we begin...when do we have lunch?" Pit asked Iori, as he raised his hand. As expected, Pit was asking meaningless questions, which would annoy Iori in a hurry.

"We're going to have a reception after the wedding," answered Iori, who was anxious about getting band practice started on time. "The Cornerians will serve us all the food you could ask for."

"Are they gonna feed use sandwiches? Because I forgot to eat a sandwich before we came here." Pit refused to rehearse on an empty stomach.

"Does it look like I'm in charge of the menu? Now shut up, so we can get this practice over with. We've been rehearsing the past few weeks, so now it's time for all our practice to come together..."

"Wait, shouldn't we wait on the band conductor first?" Iori was starting to reach his tipping point, as he facepalmed and groaned in irritation. "I mean, we are in a band, and every band needs a conductor!"

"Why would you ask such an asinine question right now?" Iori slowly rubbed his hand down his face, as he had a pained facial expression.

"I dunno, I didn't think about asking it until today. Just a random thought. But seriously though, where has our conductor been this whole time?"

"Iori is the frontman of our band - he's our conductor!" Donkey Kong informed Pit, saving Iori a lot of trouble and frustration in the process. "Whatever he says goes."

"Wow, that really explains everything...thanks, Donkey Kong! But wait, if Iori is the conductor...then where is his baton?! How can he lead our band, without a baton?"

"Can we please get started already?!" Iori was on his last nerve, letting out a giant scream, as Pit finally shut up for good. "Thank you. K.K. Slider, is your guitar in tune?"

"You bet!" replied K.K. Slider, as he gave Iori a salute.

"Donkey Kong, are your drums ready to go?"

"Yep, ready when you are!" replied Donkey Kong, giving Iori a thumbs up.

"Red, can I trust you to not sound so poorly on the trumpet this time?"

"I've been practicing all night - I think I'm ready!" replied Red with a nod, confident that he could knock Iori's socks off.

"And Pit...please don't screw us over. Your trombone playing will ultimately make or break our performance."

"All I have to do is play like my hero, professional wrestler Xavier Woods," stated Pit; that angel probably had a lot of other heroes, knowing how big of a wrestling fan he was. "If he can kill it while playing the trombone, then I can too!"

"Xavier Woods...Xavier Woods...that sounds like a name of some nerd more than anything." Technically, you could say that Iori was right to some extent. "But whatever, just play like this Xavier Woods person, and we should be good to go. Now, is everyone ready?"

"Just give us the cue, and we'll play our hearts out!" replied Donkey Kong, who was ready to go. All the other band members were ready to go too.

"Alright then. I'll count things off. A one, and a two, and a one, two, three, four..."

Iori and his band started playing their instruments, playing a jazz version of Felix Mendelssohn's wedding march. Iori was spicing things up with his sax, K.K. Slider strummed on his guitar like a pro, Donkey Kong was banging away on the drums, and Red was tooting away on the trumpet. Only person that was playing horribly was, as expected, Pit; his playing of the trumpet was so bad and so out of tune, that the other members slowly stopped playing their instruments.

"There he goes again, throwing us all off..." muttered Iori, as he and the other members were staring at Pit. Pit was still playing his trombone, coming to a sudden stop when he saw the others staring at him.

"Yikes, either I was seriously out of tune, or you guys were all out of tune," Pit said to Iori and the others, who were very much disgruntled with the angel. "Speaking of which...how exactly do you tune a trombone?"

"You're asking us this now? Oh dear..." Iori facepalmed, now realizing how big of a mistake it was to ask Pit to join his band three episodes ago.

Iori: Fox is going to be one very disgruntled groom during the wedding...we're so sorry that we failed you, Fox. Go ahead and cut Pit out of the equation, you don't deserve any sympathy from him.

Joker was at the country club, arriving with the second wave of wedding guests. Accompanying him was his girlfriend Makoto, as well as the newest resident of the Smash Mansion, Kasumi.

"I've never been to outer space before," Kasumi said to Joker and Makoto, wishing that she could have an opportunity to go exploring around Corneria. "I take it that neither of you have been to space before either?"

"No, this is a bit of a first for us," replied Makoto, looking around for any available seats. A whole lotta folding chairs were set up, in neat fashion. "I've only heard about Corneria from Fox and Falco...never thought that I'd actually be here!"

"You have to admit, the air quality here is excellent..." Joker told Makoto; the young man would know, being that he fought in plenty of Smash battles on some ship flying around Corneria.

"I don't see Krystal anywhere..." As Makoto looked around for Krystal, someone grabbed Joker's arm and dragged the young man away. "I sure hope she makes it to her wedding on time." Makoto looked towards Joker, only to realize that her boyfriend was no longer there. "Joker...?"

Joker was dragged to a corner of the country club, and it wasn't by a stranger. The person that took him away from Makoto and Kasumi was Kanji, who looked like he wanted to speak with Joker in private.

"Kanji? What's the big deal?" Joker asked the delinquent, who appeared to be having a lot on his mind. Clearly Kanji had something he wanted to say.

"I just wanted to tell you something, if that's fine with you," replied Kanji, before looking around to ensure that nobody was nearby eavesdropping. "It's about...it's mostly about Naoto. Mainly about her."

"Yes, I know, you want to be the best boyfriend you can possibly be for Naoto, I'm well aware. That's why you have Yu, Minato, and myself guiding you."

"Yeah, about that...I was speaking with Yu and Minato earlier today, and I was telling them...that I don't need any advice from you guys anymore."

"Are you so sure about that? We were making pretty good progress...I thought you were well on your way!" Joker expected Kanji to show signs of difficulty at first expressing his feelings, but Kanji was handling his decision pretty well.

"Look, man, I'm a pretty chill and mellow dude...I don't need a bunch of friends to teach me the way that I should go. I'm more like a lone wolf - cool, calm, and collected. I should do things my way, and not rely on anyone else!"

"Well if that's the way you want to do it, then all the power to you. Yu, Minato, and I won't get in your way. Just do you, and be for Naoto whenever you can."

"Ha ha, I'd knew you would understand! Thanks Joker!" Kanji would give Joker a hug, before realizing how weird it was and ending the hug altogether. "Uh...sorry if that made you feel some type of way."

"It's all good, I'm fine..." Having regrets over giving Joker that hug, Kanji awkwardly walked away with his hands in his pockets. The delinquent walked through the country club, wearing a tuxedo that he purchased his own self...from a thrift store.

"Wah, it's no fair..." a nasally voiced was heard, sounding like it came from underneath the table. Kanji would look underneath the table, pulling up the red tablecloth...and seeing Waluigi hiding under the table by himself.

"Waluigi why are you hiding under the table?" Kanji questioned the lanky man, who was sitting on the floor in a fetal position. Waluigi was looking pretty depressed.

"I'm not really hiding, I just needed a good place to let out my emotions without being judged. Right now, my tear ducts aren't working...can't force out any tears."

"Can't force out any tears for what? What is it that you would wanna cry about?" Shaking his head, Waluigi despondently looked down at the floor.

"Fox is about to be married to Krystal pretty soon...and poor little me can't even find myself a woman to settle down with! How is it that most of my pals are getting married before me?"

"I've yet to start a serious relationship with Naoto, and you don't see me crying a river about it." Kanji knelt down at Waluigi, and he couldn't believe that he was having a heart-to-heart with Waluigi of all people. "Sometimes, you just gotta let things go!"

"But I can't! I practically gave up my chance to be with Blake Belladonna and Risky Boots for King...and that did nothing but make me wind up in a love triangle, with King and Ryo!"

Blake: Waluigi has yet to speak with me ever since he started messing around with that restaurant manager, King...thank you King, for not breaking Waluigi's heart by telling him the truth. Saved me a ton.

"Have you at least considered getting yourself out of this love triangle?" Kanji asked Waluigi, to which the lanky man gave a slight whimper. "Crying about it isn't gonna get you out of it."

"I tried getting out of it, one time...challenged Ryo to a fight," said Waluigi, as Kanji thought of Waluigi as the most insane man on planet earth. Everyone knows that a lanky dude like Waluigi wouldn't last five seconds in a real fight with Ryo. "But all I did was humiliate myself!"

"Maybe you should try doing the opposite of what you used to do before. Because the stuff you're accustomed to doing...obviously it's not working."

"You're right, I've been making myself look like a fool...a fool for love!" Waluigi was showing more confidence, crawling from underneath the table and standing proudly and confidently. "I should stop being a fool, and start being a...um...what's the opposite of a fool?"

"Uh...some kind of brainiac?" Kanji wasn't entirely sure about his answer, but his answer was good enough for Waluigi, who nodded his head with newfound determination.

"Yeah, I should start being a brainiac! That's what I've been doing wrong this whole time, I wasn't using my brain! Thank you Kanji, for showing me the light!"

"No problem, my man!" Waluigi would march away, eschewing confidence in every step, as Kanji grinned.

Fox was standing outside the country club, watching as a second wave of wedding guests arrived in Corneria. He was expecting Krystal to show up at any minute now, so to pass the time he was speaking with one of the Cornerian workers.

"Why are people buying so much toilet paper?" the Cornerian worker asked Fox, after Fox told him about the ongoing pandemic taking place on earth. "Is the fear of t the virus giving people the runs?"

"Who knows, maybe they're trying to set up a new currency," shrugged Fox, who was a hundred percent certain that talking animals were much smarter than humans, with each passing day. "Or saving up supplies for a future apocalypse. But you know what else people buy in excess? Hand soap!"

"Now that sounds dumb, if not dumber! You mean to tell me that the people of earth rarely washed their hands before the pandemic broke out?"

"I mean, they're literally airing PSAs on how to wash your hands on TV, so..." Soon Fox saw Yuffie show up in Corneria with Luigi, Daisy...and a third individual that got Fox furrowing his brow mightily. "...I'll be right back."

Fox marched his way over to this third individual, who was looking around with his long black hair grabbing Fox's attention. This individual was Vincent Valentine - a good friend of Yuffie's.

"Really, it's been that long since you've been to a wedding?" Yuffie asked Vincent, who looked like he wanted to be back home. Wherever his home was.

"After Luigi and Daisy's wedding, I promised myself not to attend another wedding...and yet here I am," replied Vincent, speaking in a very apathetic tone, before Fox confronted him and got all up in his grill. "And look who's here, the groom..."

"Mr. Valentine, what are you doing here at my wedding, man?" Fox questioned the former Turk, acting like he was seeing a ghost. Had to physically touch Vincent, just to make sure that he wasn't seeing things. "You weren't on the guest list!"

"If you must know, your moronic best man Falco invited me to the wedding. Guess you could say that I'm one of the more...last-minute additions."

"Last-minute additions? What...do you mean...by that..." Fox would slowly trail off, when he saw two other folks in Corneria that weren't' on his wedding guest list...the Aenslands, Morrigan and Lilith.

"Hi Foxy, thank you for inviting us to your wedding!" Morrigan waved to the pilot from a distance, as Fox's jaw dropped to the ground at the mere sight of Morrigan and Lilith. Looks like Falco had some explaining to do.

"Gotta say, Fox, you're going to be a pretty popular man soon," Vincent said to the pilot, who was now filled with anger as he marched away. "There's plenty of more new guests, just letting you know..."

Inside the country club, Falco was making sure that everything in order, and that all the people participating in the wedding ceremony were present. Mario was there. So were the groomsmen (Chrom, Ken, and Professor Kukui), as well as the bridesmaids (Raven, Eliza Masters, and Professor Burnet). The flower girl, Viridi, was also there, having arrived with the second wave of guests. Only person missing was the ring bearer.

"Oh crap, the ring bearer isn't here!" panicked Falco; while a missing ring bearer was pretty bad, a missing wedding ring would be even more problematic. "Bruh, Professor Kukui, where is our ring bearer?"

"How am I supposed to know, I was only named a groomsman on late notice!" replied Professor Kukui, who didn't even know who Krystal's maid of honor was. "Shouldn't you know, being the best man?"

"Falco...we need to talk," Fox approached Falco, pulling the avian pilot aside as he wished to speak with him. "Why did I just see Vincent Valentine and the Aenslands here in Corneria?"

"I dunno, probably like they were invited to your wedding or something." Falco was acting very carefree about the situation, which only increased Fox's anger. "That's some pretty great company right there!"

"Vincent told me that you invited a bunch of 'last-minute' wedding guests to my wedding! Why would you do that for, when we already finalized the guest list?"

"I only did it just to give you some bragging rights. Imagine you're having a conversation with someone, and they bring up their wedding, and you can be like, 'Well that's cool and all, but I had Vincent Valentine in the Aenslands at my wedding, how about that'."

"I could honestly care less about some meaningless bragging rights - I just want today to be perfect. The best day of my life, and Krystal's life. You can't just invite random people to my wedding without letting me know!"

"Not just random people...famous random people." Falco believed that his remark would ease Fox's cares away, but that didn't do much to quell Fox's anger. "I'm just trying to do you a big solid, bud."

"Let me guess, you invited the Doom Slayer to my wedding too?" Fox slowly turned around...and would you know it, he saw the Doom Slayer standing by. The marine had to turn in his gun, at the country club entrance.

"Told him about your wedding, and he said nothing and just gave me a thumbs up. For all we know, that thumbs up meant that he wanted to be here." Fox glared at Falco, now fearing how many more guests Falco could've possibly invited.

"Fox, Professor Kukui just told us that the ring bearer isn't here," Chrom approached the pilot, not appearing to know much about the ring bearer's identity. Not really a good sign. "Do you know about this?"

"Oh yeah...Pit was the original ring bearer, but he joined Iori's jazz band so we had to give the role to someone else. Sans is the ring bearer for the wedding."

"someone called my name?" asked Sans, as showed up around Fox and company while wearing a bowtie. Still more classy than Sonic ever could aspire to be. "sorry i was late guys, had to find a bowtie. would wear a regular tie, but i didn't wanna hang around the mansion any longer..."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever...do you have the wedding rings?" Sans would look to his left, and then to his right...then down at the floor...and back up at Fox.

"you're the one getting married, i thought that maybe you would have them." Now Fox was angrier than before, grunting in frustration as he ruthlessly punched the air around him. Falco, Chrom, and Sans backed away for good measure.

"First Krystal isn't even here yet, and now this...what's next, Viridi can't be the flower girl because she apparently has vertigo now?!"

"Fox, I don't feel so good...feels like my head is spinning..." Viridi approached the pilot, appearing dizzy as she held her head. Fox, believing that he was literally speaking things into existence, laughed hysterically and walked away. "...what's so funny?"

Viridi: Been watching a lot of hair tutorials as of late. When you get short hair thanks to a spell, sometimes you have to adapt. I will admit that I've been guilty of watching these videos up all night...not only has it been screwing up my sleep schedule, but it also gives me headaches. Why does keeping up with your hair have to be so haphazard and tiring?

"Bruh where are you going?" Falco asked Fox, who was laughing his butt off as he walked away. Falco would soon catch up to Fox, grabbing the pilot and turning around before slapping him. "Snap out of it, man!"

"Snap out of what, making things worse?" asked Fox, who was sure that he was on the brink of going literally insane. "Whenever I say something...poof! Things get derailed, thrown into the fire."

"My guy, you can't be acting like this! You're at a wedding - your wedding! You're supposed to set the standard, not act like a fool!"

"What am I supposed to do about it then? Things aren't looking so hot right now, and you might be contributing to the downfall."

"Fox...do you remember what you told me in the men's restroom, during Berkut and Rinea's wedding?" Falco was now getting real personal with Fox, as he grabbed his best friend's shoulders.

"What...what are you doing?" Fox had every right to feel concerned, as Falco was giving him the serious look he had ever given him. "You really gotta do this out in the open, when other people are looking?"

"Just hear me out, Mr. McCloud...what you're gonna do out there, during your wedding ceremony...you won't be doing it for me, you won't be doing it for you, you won't even be doing it for Krystal, let alone anyone in attendance!"

"But if I"m not doing it for Krystal, then what is the whole point of me getting married in the first place?" It was a very interesting pep talk by Falco, who slapped Fox silly and caused the pilot to wince. "Was that slap supposed to make me feel better?"

"This wedding? You'll be doing it for the kids out there, the kids in America! Struggling on the streets, eating whatever they find, trying to make it through life and constantly thinking..."

"Hold on just a minute...isn't this the same pep talk I gave you after you were nervous about telling jokes at Berkut and Rinea's wedding reception? This is supposed to help me here because...?"

"Okay, so the pep talk may not be much help...but think about Berkut and Rinea, and how they handled their wedding. Crash lost their wedding rings, during the ceremony...and yet those two didn't skip a beat. You should do the same."

"Yeah, you're right...I gotta stop worrying, and be more optimistic! Let things play out, and eventually everything will come full circle. Really appreciated that pep talk, Falco - I really needed it."

"Told ya that I was the greatest best man around...now go sit down somewhere, and just relax until it's time for the wedding to start. I'm sure that Krystal will be here soon, and then you two can get married and French kiss in front of the..."

"We are not French kissing..." Apparently Falco wanted to see Fox and Krystal do a French kiss, as evidenced by him snapping his fingers in disgust. "...besides, Master Hand talked me out of it. Said the wedding was for 'good boys and girls'."

"Then it's a good thing that Mai Shiranui turned down that wedding invite I sent her..." Falco muttered under his breath, garnering a curious stare from Fox. "...uh, I mean, who would want Mai at their wedding, amirite?"

Anna was feeling lonesome and bored, having to stay inside the room she was put in by the buddy cops. Not by chance, mind you - it was for her own safety, especially with Master Hand around. Anna had no choice but to be in Corneria, since it usually bothered Master Hand when the mansion wasn't completely empty during a wedding.

"Somebody to keep me company would be nice..." said Anna as she was looking down at the floor, craving for any kind of companion to make her loneliness go away. The merchant would get her wish, as Link opened the door to the room and thrust Cloud inside.

"Why am I hiding again?" Cloud asked Link, who was standing at the doorway while holding the door open. Both Link and Cloud were wearing matching suits - a sign of being great best friends. Also bothered Cloud, to an extent.

"Zelda said it's because there's a big surprise for you," replied Link, as the frown Anna had on her face suddenly turned upside down once she saw Cloud. "Or at least that's what I've been told. Just stay here for now."

"You couldn't just tell me to wait outside? I could just hang around the back of the country club - doubt that anyone would find me there."

"Now's not the time for taking chances, okay? You'll leave this room, but not until the surprise is here. But for now..." Link didn't even finish his sentence, as he quickly slammed the door and left.

"No, Link, get back here!" Cloud ran to the door and tried to open it, but to no avail - Link must've blocked it from the outside. Cloud grunted, having to stay inside the room for the time being. However long that was...

"About time I got some company," remarked Anna, with a smile, as Cloud turned around and saw the merchant standing by. It delighted Cloud, knowing that he wouldn't feel so lonely...and Anna felt the same way.

"Ah, Anna...we meet again. I'm guessing that Master Hand has no idea that you're at the mansion." Seeing that Anna lived to see another week, Cloud's guess couldn't be any more right.

"Nope, those buddy cops have kept me well-hidden in their jail cell! Took me a while to learn that it was actually their closet...those two have been feeding me doughnut and malasadas, and any leftovers from dinner."

"As long as you aren't starving to death, then it's all good. Although staying in one room all day long is unsatisfactory..."

"Of course, it's not the best living situation...but the buddy cops do let me out of their jail cell every now and then. Only when the coast is clear."

"Yeah, if Master Hand ever catches you in the mansion...you're absolutely dead. I'm surprised that he hasn't found out that you're in the mansion yet..."

The third wave of wedding guests had arrived, and among this third wave was Cilan who brought his wedding cake. When the connoisseur wheeled the wedding cake to the country club entrance, he came across a problem he knew he'd run into.

"Oh my, I won't be able to fit this cake through the door!" panicked Cilan, seeing that his cake was too wide and too tall to squeeze through the country club entrance. When you got a lot of guests at a wedding, you gotta make a wedding cake as grand as possible. "Whatever shall I do?"

"Cilan, why are you acting like such a drama queen?" Master Hand approached the connoisseur, seeing him in his temporary time of despair. "You know that your cake is simply too big to be wheeled inside anywhere like some handicapped person!"

"But Master Hand, I couldn't help it - I had to make the cake big just to account for everyone! Go blame Fox and Falco - they're the ones who had that long guest list! I was just doing my job!"

"What's the problem, why is Cilan crying for?" inquired Villager, as he showed up at the scene. The young lad looked at the wedding cake, and was marveling at it. "Golly, Cilan, that's one ginormous cake!"

"Indeed it is, Villager...and because of it, I can't seem to squeeze it inside the country club!" Looking at Villager, Master Hand suddenly got an idea.

"I know - Villager, why not use your Pocket ability to pocket the cake, and bring it safely inside the building?" the giant hand suggested to the young lad, who gave the idea some thought. "You can pocket just about anything! A bomb, a tree, a trailer house..."

"You pocketed a trailer house before?" Cilan asked Villager, amazed that the young lad could pull off such a feat. Villager's Pocket ability seemed to know no bounds.

Master Hand: Some homeless guy was hanging around the mansion one day, and I had Villager pocket a trailer home and gift it to the homeless guy. Turned out the homeless guy wasn't actually homeless...he was just some "social media influencer" looking to make a profit. The trailer home went up in flames, so the dude got what was coming for him. Also, what even is a social media influencer anyways? Sounds like a weird way to say that you're jobless, while looking cool at the same time. It's no wonder the millennial employment rate is so high!

"Sorry Master Hand, but the wedding cake is out of my limits," Villager apologized to Master Hand, putting a bit of a damper on Cilan. "If it were smaller, I would've pocketed it pretty easily."

"Aw phooey...looks like I'm screwed," sighed Cilan, his large cake preventing the other wedding guests from entering the country club. A lot of people were behind Cilan, complaining to the connoisseur. "Guess the reception will be without a wedding cake..."

"Reception? You fool, this is the site of the wedding ceremony!" Master Hand stated to Cilan, who was now feeling like the biggest idiot in Corneria right now. "I thought you wanted to keep the wedding cake here, for safekeeping."

"No wonder so many people were filing inside the country club...boy do I feel dumb. I might as well hide this cake behind the building, can't let anyone else see..."

"You go do that, while I ask Fox and Falco about where the wedding reception will be." So Cilan wheeled the wedding cake away, no longer holding up the line. But before Master Hand could vanish away though, he was sniffing.

"You smell something?" Villager asked Master Hand, before doing some sniffing of his own. Couldn't smell a single thing. "I don't smell anything."

"But I do...I smell capitalism afoot. Toon Link, Young Link, get your butts over here!" Moments later, the buddy cops Toon Link and Young Link showed up, and were both standing in front of Master Hand.

"We just finished striking a parked vehicle with our police batons, for parking in the wrong spot," Toon Link informed Master Hand; even on a different planet, the buddy cops still took their jobs seriously. "Hopefully the marks we left behind sent a strong enough message to whoever owns the vehicle."

"That's all fine and dandy, but what I have to tell you is far more important...I have detected the presence of a capitalist on this very planet." The buddy cops both gulped nervously, knowing who Master Hand was talking about. "You boys know anything about this?"

"You're not talking about Anna...are you?" asked Young Link, with the seat running down his face and Toon Link's face as well. This was a matter of life or death...Master Hand finds out that Toon Link and Young Link brought Anna to Corneria, and both buddy cops were done for.

"Could be her...I've been dealing with the scent since last week, I reckon." Hearing that not only made the buddy cops worried about their livelihoods, but also for the livelihoods of Link, Champion Link, and Cloud. "It just comes and it goes."

"...and what do you want us to do about it, Master Hand?" Toon Link nervously asked the giant hand, nervously twiddling with his fingers. Master Hand observed the Hylian's nervousness, assuming that dealing with a capitalist was a nightmarish scenario. And he couldn't fault Toon Link for that.

"I want you to find this evil capitalist, and rid of them from this planet. Better yet, toss 'em in to space, and watch as they suffocate and die. Would do the whole universe a huge favor."

"And if we don't find this capitalist in time, what would happen to us?" Master Hand appeared resilient on finding this capitalist, no matter what.

"Nothing will be happening to you boys...but as for the wedding itself, it will not begin until we learn the identity of the evil capitalist afoot. We must do it to ensure everyone's safety."

"This might be it, Starsky, we're done for..." Young Link whispered to Toon Link, worried that bringing Anna to Corneria might prevent the wedding to start on time. Perhaps it was best to keep Anna at the Yiga Clan.

Inside the country club, which was filling up with wedding guests, Fox was keeping his cool as he was noodling around on his phone. Falco came forth to Fox, to give the groom some good news.

"Just got off the phone with Pac-Man; he said that someone managed to locate the missing wedding rings," informed Falco, much to the great delight of Fox as the pilot sprung up on to his feet with a smile.

"Cool beans! Everything is starting to push up daisies!" remarked a more confident Fox, who was now expecting Krystal to show up at the country club pretty soon. "Did Pac-Man ever say who found the rings?"

"Nope - said he was told to keep the identity of the person a secret. Clearly somebody doesn't want to be praised as a hero." Just then, Master Hand showed up, ready to deliver some bad news.

"I regret to tell you this...but the wedding may or may not start at its schedule time," Master Hand informed Fox and Falco, both of whom were left alarmed. A sense of worry began to overwhelm Fox. "We have a miscreant in our presence..."

"What kind of miscreant are we talking about here?" asked Fox, who was ready to throw some hands if the opportunity ever called for it. Nobody threatened Fox's wedding, and expect to get away with it.

"The miscreant...is actually an evil capitalist, looking to not only ruin your wedding, Fox, but also this planet." Fox and Falco just stared at Master Hand, before bursting into laughter. "Why aren't you boys taking this seriously?!"

"You had us in the first half, not gonna lie..." said Falco as he stifled his laughter, alarming Master Hand greatly with his carelessness. "...you wanna postpone Fox's wedding over some freaking capitalist?!"

"What's the worst they could possibly do, charge people fees to attend the wedding?" Fox laughed away, as he wiped away a tear from his eye. "Not that we would want that, obviously, but this is no big deal."

"Oh, but it is a big deal!" stated Master Hand, trying his hardest to stress the utmost importance of the "situation" at hand. "This capitalist could ruin your wedding, and then some. They msut be stopped!"

"I'm sure there's already someone around looking for this...evil capitalist as we speak." Fox would look towards Falco, doing his best not to break into another fit of contagious laughter.

"Right you are, Mr. McCloud - the buddy cops are hunting down this fiend as we speak. Anyways, Cilan wants to know where he can put the wedding cake at. Where will the reception take place at?"

"There's a church building not that far from this country club. They were kind enough to let us use their dining hall."

Fox: Don't be alarmed, us Cornerians aren't exactly that religious. That being said, nobody knows why there's a church building on this planet. But from what I've heard, the folks in that dining hall make some pretty good gumbo...

The buddy cops were tasked with finding the "evil capitalist", and they did not wish to complete their mission, since their intention of bringing Anna to Corneria would be exposed. So to bid the time, the two opted to hide somewhere, until Master Hand's suspicions vanished away.

"Boys, I can't let you hide inside the cake, you'll ruin it!" Cilan told Toon Link and Young Link, who were trying to maneuver past Cilan. Surprisingly, Cilan was putting down the clamps on the buddy cops.

"Amy Rose hid inside Sonic's birthday cake one year, so why can't we hide inside this cake?" questioned Young Link, as he tried to crawl underneath Cilan's legs; Cilan would stop the young Hylian in the nick of time. "Is it because a wedding cake is different from a birthday cake?!"

"Absolutely not, it's just...this wasn't pre-planned. If there is even a single blemish on this cake, then Fox and Krystal would be very disappointed in me!"

"How big of a blemish does it have to be?" asked Toon Link...who was dangerously close to the cake, as he was licking off some chocolate icing off his finger. Only just a small little speck. However, that was enough to make Cilan shriek.

"Toon Link, you monster!" Cilan would grab Toon Link and take him away from the wedding cake, but in doing so, he gave an opening for Young Link to jump inside the cake and hide. Cilan stopped him, before he could do any damage.

"Just...let us inside...the cake!" demanded Young Link, with him and Toon Link trying to escape from Cilan's grasp. Soon Master Hand appeared, seeing Cilan wrangling with the buddy cops.

"Cilan, why are you messing around with the buddy cops in their line of duty?" Master Hand scolded the connoisseur, as Cilan and the buddy cops all came to a halt. "You're preventing them from stopping the evil capitalist that'll ruin Fox's wedding!"

"What evil capitalist?" questioned Cilan; knowing that Master Hand wouldn't appreciate his lack of concern, Cilan changed his tune real quick. "I mean, oh dear, not an evil capitalist! My apologies, Master Hand!" Cilan would let go of the buddy cops, pleasing Master Hand.

"Good to know that you're as worried as I am. Now about that wedding cake...Fox told me that the wedding reception will be taking place at a dining hall of some church building, so you can put the cake there. If you can't squeeze the cake inside the dining hall...then it's on you."

"But where is this building supposed to be? All these buildings in Corneria almost look the same..."

"Fox said it's not that far from the country club. So that's up to you to figure out. Toodles!"

"No, Master Hand, wait!" Too late - Master Hand had already vanished away. Cilan sighed, as he looked at his wedding cake. "Welp, I'm screwed..."

"You think you're screwed?" Toon Link asked Cilan, before shaking his head in dismay. "We brought Anna to Corneria, and now Master Hand has picked up on her scent!"

"Anna? You mean as in Anna the merchant? Master Hand hates that woman! Why did you bring her to this planet for?"

"Because we couldn't keep her at the mansion," replied Young Link, as he was looking down at the ground. "We agreed to keep her there, since her shop is closed down and she has nowhere else to stay."

"Her shop closed down, because of the pandemic? I am sorry to hear that...where is she right now?"

"Inside some room at the country club." In retrospect, that was the worst place to hide Anna at. "So she's pretty much stuck there..."

"Anna is stuck inside the country club, and this wedding cake has just to be delivered. Got no clue where this dining hall is. Just our luck, isn't it boys?"

"You boys seem like you could use a little help..." a female voice called out to Cilan and the buddy cops - a gentle voice that could easily soothe the soul.

"Guess you could say that...again." Cilan looked up, and his eyes went wide when he saw a familiar woman standing in his presence. The buddy cops also looked up, having a reaction similar to Cilan's.

Cloud and Anna were still hanging out in the locked room of the country club, and Cloud glanced at his phone to check the time. His patience was wearing thin.

"Wedding's gonna start pretty soon," stated Cloud, before attempting to open the door but to no avail. "Link can't keep me in here forever..."

"Playing the harmonica is a good way to pass the time..." Anna said to Cloud, as she offered the swordsman a harmonica. Who knows where she found it, or if the harmonica even worked. "I can sell you one...for fifty bucks."

"No thanks, keep the harmonica...I'd rather just die of boredom." Anna put away the harmonica, hoping to make a future transaction with it soon.

Cloud: True story - Iori came up to me one day and asked me if I wanted to be a part of his jazz band and play the harmonica. Had no idea he was that desperate. I already knew that Pit was a part of the band, so I turned down Iori's offer since his band was destined to suck.

"Aren't you a very moody person, Cloud?" Anna curiously asked the swordsman, having learned some things about Cloud just by being stuck in a room with him. "You don't seem like the kind of person that would enjoy weddings."

"Not really, but I've learned to tolerate them," replied Cloud, suddenly being reminded of a certain lady friend of his. "It was all thanks to Aerith that I learned to appreciate weddings a bit more."

"She's from an alternate dimension? I'm just making sure. Because I thought for sure that..."

"Shh, I hear something..." Cloud suddenly heard the doorknob turned, anticipating the door being opened. The swordsman took a step back, and the door was open wide...

...revealing a certain flower girl standing at the doorway. The mere sight of this flower girl was enough to make Cloud feel delighted and shook, at the same time. You know who it was...it was Aerith Gainsborough.

"Missed me?" Aerith asked Cloud, who walked up to the flower girl acting as if he were seeing a ghost. Cloud soon reached Aerith, who was all smiles.

"Hey Aerith...you sure are a sight for sore eyes," Cloud told the flower girl; he didn't feel like hugging in front of Anna, so he just held Aerith's hands instead. "You must be that surprise Link was talking about. How have you been?"

"Been feeling well, can't really complain. Never imagined that I would here, in Corneria...but this isn't my first time being in another world."

"I'll say. But what I really want to know is...why exactly are you here? Shouldn't you be at Radiant Garden, or something?"

"You know I have to be here for every wedding the mansion holds." Aerith teasingly pinched Cloud's cheek, and since she was Aerith, Cloud let the pinch slide. "I've been there for Luigi's wedding, and Mario's wedding, and even Berkut's...so why should this wedding be any different?"

"I dunno, maybe you wanted a break. Hey, Sora isn't here, is he?"

"No, I'm afraid he's very busy at the moment...so he's a no-show. Bet you don't mind that..."

"She pinched your cheek..." Anna giggled at Cloud, much to the swordsman's great chagrin. Aerith would look past Cloud, seeing Anna standing by.

"You must be Anna, right? The merchant lady?" Aerith approached Anna, and she couldn't recall if she ever met Anna in person before. "I've been told that you were being kept in this room."

"Yep, the buddy cops threw me in here for my own safety...you have seen the buddy cops, right?"

"Of course! They're the ones who told me about your whereabouts. Saw them with Cilan and the wedding cake...had Cilan's dilemma taken care of."

Aerith: Spent much of my time walking around Radiant Garden, observing the buildings and such. I know a church building whenever I see one. *smiles*

Cornerian: We were more than prepared to accommodate Cilan, and his...abnormally large wedding cake. Us Cornerians are extremely tech-savvy, so we were able to adjust the dining hall in size to accommodate the wedding cake. Not a problem for us. How Cilan plans to feed so many mouths with the wedding cake, judging from the influx of wedding guests we've seen...now that's a problem right there.

"Toon Link and Young Link told me that they were tasked by Master Hand to track you down," Aerith informed Anna, who was left pretty not alarmed at all. "Said that Master Hand was worried over some 'evil capitalist' ruining the wedding..."

"You've got to be kidding - Master Hand can't be that worried," Anna scoffed, seldom worried about what Master Hand thought about her. "I know he doesn't like me, but still..."

"For what it's worth...Master Hand won't let Fox start his wedding on time until you're promptly dealt with." Anna was more alarmed now. "I don't believe that Fox knows how serious Master Hand is taking this."

"So are you gonna turn Anna in yourself, or what?" Cloud asked Aerith, wondering what the flower girl's plan of action was. The buddy cops couldn't turn Anna in, since they were the ones who brought Anna to Corneria in the first place.

"There's no saying that Master Hand can't have a change of heart...or at least come around. I think I might know what to do."

Not at all worried abut his wedding being postponed - especially over trivial matters - Fox was getting himself in the zone, finding the right groove. Falco and Peppy were keeping him company, while Peppy was...doing whatever.

"Would it be weird for me if I had a panic attack before or during the wedding?" Fox asked Falco and Peppy, feeling anxious as he was jumping up and down. His stomach was feeling tight, and it made him even more anxious.

"It's pretty natural to feel anxious, when it comes to a big wedding," replied Peppy, wishing that Fox would temper his anxiety a little bit. "Best to get the jitters out of the way, before the ceremony starts."

"Guys, I got some good news," alerted Slippy, hopping his way over to Fox and company and nearly knocking over people in the process. "Krystal is finally here!"

"She is? Thank goodness! It's about time!" Now everything was really pushing up daisies for Fox, now that his bride was at the country club. "I was starting to get worried, not gonna lie."

"Yeah, she was getting her nails pedicured from Aerith. Speaking of Aerith, turns out she was the one who found the wedding rings. Already gave 'em to Sans."

"Well that's awfully sweet of...wait a minute, did you just say AERITH?!"

Wedding was about to start, but the start time could be pushed back unless the "evil capitalist" was found. Master Hand waited outside the country club, expecting a report from the buddy cops, when Aerith approached him.

"Hi, Master Hand - thank you again for inviting me to this wedding," Aerith thanked the giant hand with a wry grin, suggesting that she was up to no good.

"No problem! But don't thank me, thank Fox and Falco since they made the..." responded Master Hand, only to stop when he saw Anna step out of the country club and into Master Hand's view.

"I heard that there was a capitalist on this planet, and you wanted to push back the wedding because of this...threat. Is this woman the capitalist you speak of?"

"Yes ma'am, that's her! That's the one! Thank you for rounding up that criminal, Aerith - sure did those buddy cops a huge solid. Now the wedding won't be affected. I'll let Fox know that..."

"Oh, before you go...I was thinking that maybe I could stay at your mansion...for a short period of time." With Aerith being a favorite of his, Master Hand was allured by Aerith's offer. "Perhaps there is another favor I could fulfill..."

"Another favor, huh? Well, the mansion could use a bit of a redesign...not sure if the Carpenters are game, though."

"Redesign, you say? My, that sound lovely! I'd love to stick around at the mansion, just to help with your redesign plans. But only on one condition..."

"What condition?" Smiling even harder, Aerith looked towards Anna. "Wh-Why are you looking at Anna like that...?"

Krystal was in a separate room of the country club, adorned in her wedding dress and standing in front of a mirror. With her was Zelda and her maid of honor, Katt Monroe.

"Let me just say that...you look awesome in that dress," Katt said to Krystal, who warmed up to the wedding dress over time. "Suits you so well!"

"I mean, if it works on Fox, then it can work on me," stated Krystal, as Katt gave the vixen a strong look of concern. "Please disregard that you ever heard that..."

Katt: Falco is Fox's best man...so it was only fitting that I was the maid of honor to Krystal. To be honest with you, I barely interacted with Krystal much during the wedding planning process, but we barely interact to begin with so it was all good. I was only named maid of honor because of Krystal's lack of lady friends...no offense, Krystal.

"Apparently, Fox wants to do some wedding dance down the aisle," continued Krystal, adjusting the bridal hairpiece on her hand. "Like the one they did at Luigi and Daisy's wedding. What do you ladies think?"

"I'd say don't do it; we can do the dance down the aisle...at a later time," replied Zelda, slightly smirking as she made her response. Katt was quick to pick up on the smirk that Zelda was making.

"What do you mean about this 'later time'?" the cat asked Zelda, and before Zelda could give her answer, Lucina entered the room with Chrom.

"Wow, Krystal, you look stunning!" Chrom told the vixen, before gasping and burying his face in his hands. "Gah! What am I doing? I'm not supposed you before the wedding begins."

"Silly Father, you're not supposed to see the groom before the wedding starts," Lucina had to inform Chrom...some so-called romantic expert Chrom was.

"I saw him too! In fact, all of us groomsmen saw Fox! I should just cover my eyes, just as a precaution..."

"Wanted to let you know that everyone is ready for the wedding to begin," Lucina informed Krystal, while Chrom held his hand over his eyes. "Master Hand just gave Fox the green light."

"Lucina, dear, can you escort me back to where the wedding is?" Chrom, with his eyes still covered, reached for Lucina's hand and grabbed. Lucina sighed deeply.

Fox's wedding was starting, with the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and married couples walking down the aisle. Iori's band was playing a jazzified version of the wedding march, and Pit was playing with...albeit playing the triangle instead of the trombone, since he couldn't screw that up.

Now you may be wondering...how could the wedding possibly be starting, when the "evil capitalist" had yet to be found? Aerith would approach Master Hand with Anna, and managed to strike a deal with the giant hand...

"Aerith I appreciate seeing you again and all...but do I really have to keep this vile woman company?" Master Hand whined to the flower girl, hanging around with Crazy Hand, Aerith, Cloud...and Anna. The four were at the back of the country club, watching as Berkut and Rinea went down the aisle.

"Remember, Master Hand, we made a deal..." Aerith reminded the giant hand, wagging her finger at him. Master Hand groaned mightily.

"You made a DEAL with her?!" Crazy Hand scolded Master Hand, wanting to backhand the giant hand for his foolishness. "For shame, Master Hand, for shame..."

Cloud: Aerith made a deal with Master Hand, where she would help Master Hand redesign the mansion...but in exchange, Anna had to attend the wedding, without harm. Aerith gets to stay in Seattle, so I can't really complain. Not sure what this means for Anna staying at the mansion.

Aerith: I'm not much of a design artist, per se - I just made up that deal to appease Master Hand. He can easily fall for anything.

Toon Link: It's all thanks to Aerith that Hutch and I won't worry about getting in trouble, for bringing Anna to Corneria...Miss Gainsborough...you are truly the real MVP.

Krystal was the last to walk down the aisle, and accompanying her was Ryo Sakazaki; Krystal didn't have a dad to walk her down the aisle, so Ryo offered to fill the void for her. Good guy Ryo.

"Best feeling in the world, amirite?" asked Falco as he nudged Fox, who was beaming as Krystal was mere inches away from the altar. Nothing could possibly ruin this perfect moment, not even...

"BOOOOOOOOO!" booed Waluigi as he stood up and booed Fox and Krystal, letting his feelings known. "Boo, I say! BOOOOO!"

"Wauigi, what are you doing?" Fox questioned the lanky man, not wanting some dork like Waluigi to ruin his wedding.

"Hey buddy, I don't think you understand what a bad idea this is," Ryo told Waluigi, letting him know what kind of trouble he was bound to find himself in.

"And I don't think you understand how hard it is to have your heart crushed, while your peers are getting married!" retorted Waluigi, as his saltiness was being put on full display. "Thought I had a chance, but it failed..."

"This is not what I meant by doing the opposite..." frowned Kanji, as he and a few other men angrily stood up, ready to confront Waluigi. Waluigi slowly backed away upon seeing these men.

"Don't worry...I got this," Ryo assured Fox and Krystal, before marching towards Waluigi; Waluigi couldn't back away any further, for Master Hand and Crazy Hand stopped his progress.

"Look, Ryo, I know we had some beef with each other..." a nervous Waluigi said to Ryo, who put his hand on the lanky man. Waluigi slapped Ryo's hands away. "...hey, don't touch me like that!"

"Then sit back down and..." Refusing to do as he was told, Waluigi slapped Ryo in the chest, and Ryo didn't even flinch. Most folks in the crowd gasped. "...okay, I'll give you that one, but you better not do it again."

"Or else what? You're gonna kick my butt?" Waluigi slapped Ryo in the chest once more, and Ryo would retaliate once more by punching Waluigi in the face, sending him to the floor. The crowd gasped once more.

"Mama mia!" exclaimed Mario as he ran down from the altar - not to check on Waluigi, but rather to pull Ryo away before more chaos could unfold. "Ryo, that was completely uncalled for!"

"Things can't possibly ESCALATE from here, right?" Crazy Hand asked Master Hand, while Mario was pulling Ryo away from the dazed Waluigi.

Things did escalate, as Ryo and Waluigi were taken to a police station for their actions. Mario, who was all caught up in the kerfuffle, was taken to the police station as well. Meaning that the wedding, for the moment being, was in jeopardy without its officiant.

"This is all your fault, Waluigi..." Ryo glared down the lanky man, who was showing signs of remorse as Mario and Ryo were glaring him down. No doubt Waluigi had regret over his actions, being blinded by his own jealousy.

"Got some good news for you boys..." a Cornerian police officer approached Mario and company, who were all handcuffed. "...one of the folks from the wedding was courteous enough to post your bail."

"Mama mia, that's great-a news!" exclaimed Mario, wondering who this person could possibly be. "But who was it?"

"Hi boys!" greeted Anna, showing up with a gleeful smile on her face. "Guess who just posted your bail?"

Anna: Those Cornerians are suckers...the bail was 1000 Cornerian dollars, and so I gave the police officers two bucks, in American dollars. Told them that an American dollar was worth 500 Cornerian dollars. *grins* You see, money always works when you use it to your advantage.

"One thing I should mention...only two of you had your bail paid off," stated the Cornerian police officer, meaning that two out of the three men were no longer in custody. "Mr. Mario, Mr. Sakazaki...you're both free to go."

"Yippee!" cheered Mario, as he and Ryo had their handcuffs taken off by the police officer. Waluigi's jaw dropped to the floor, as both Mario and Ryo were released.

"But what about me, I was arrested too!" Waluigi whined to the Cornerian police officer, not liking the idea of being stuck inside a Cornerian jail.

"Crazy Hand wanted to keep you here, under arrest," the Cornerian police officer explained to Waluigi, who held his head low in sadness. "As punishment, for interrupting the wedding. Hopefully you'll learn your lesson soon..."

"Smell ya later, Waluigi!" Anna waved to the lanky man, as Mario and Ryo followed the merchant out of the police station. Waluigi might be stuck in Corneria for a while.

"Knew I should've gotten married before Fox did..." whined Waluigi, acting like being married as soon as possible would've made things any better.

"Fox, where are you man?" Falco called out to Fox, who had left the country club momentarily after Mario and company got arrested. The wedding was put on hold, as a result."Oh, there you are!"

Falco would spot Fox, sitting alone by himself at the front of the country club. Fox was sitting on the ground, looking defeated.

"Hey man, everything alright?" Falco asked Fox, sitting down next to his best friend. "You're not having a panic attack, are you?"

"No, I'm just...feeling bummed out," replied Fox, with a thousand mile stare going on. "Waluigi ruined my wedding, and it's on hold, with Mario arrested."

"C'mon, that can't possibly be the worst part about the wedding...could it?"

"I dunno...my wedding rings went missing, Krystal shows up late, the ceremony nearly got postponed because of some stupid reason, and I have a bunch of unwanted guests AT MY WEDDING! How do you expect me to feel?!"

"Um, about the unwanted guests...I have a confession to make. As a best man, I was...I was trying to live out my wedding through yours."

"Huh? What do you mean by that?" Fox gave Falco a curious glare, unsure of what the avian pilot even meant.

"I wanted to be the best man because I wanted to do things for your wedding...that I would do for my wedding. Which I don't see happening anytime soon. That's why I did all those things I did."

"Is that so? Why do you feel that way? You don't think that Katt's the one for you?"

"It's not that, it's just...I don't think I'm patient enough. Waiting from June to April for you and Krystal to get married was a pain in the butt for me."

"Well if it makes you feel any better...you can always work through patience with love. It worked for me, so it could work for you!"

"You're right, you're right...but you know me, Fox. I'm not a very patient guy."

"You say that, but you still got a chance. If I can work out my flaws through love...then there's no stopping you from doing the same."

"Wow...thanks Fox, I really needed that." Falco nodded his head with a smile, as Fox smiled in return. "But enough wholesome talk. We got a wedding to do, fam!"

"But how can we do it, when we have no officiant?" Falco stood up, feeling invigorated while also alarmed by Fox's skepticism.

"You're gonna back down now?! Pretty soon you're gonna marry Krystal, and guess what? She'll finally have a last name. An actual last name!"

"Well that does sound nice..." Fox looked into the distance, and saw Anna, with Mario and Ryo. Seeing Mario made the pilot stand up. "...look, it's Mario!"

"Really? Where?" Falco turned around and saw Mario, who greeted the pilots with a smile and wave. "Aw yeah! We're back in business, baby!"

With Mario back as the wedding officiant, the wedding could finally resume. The wedding started back from the beginning, and after Ryo walked Krystal down the aisle, it was time for the big moment.

"Fox, is there anything-a you wanna say to Krystal?" Mario asked the pilot, who was doing his best to keep it together. "Got your wedding vow prepared?"

"I wrote my vow before we got engaged...clocked in at sixty pages," replied Fox, alarming a majority of the crowd with his confession. "...but I don't have it with me." Relieved sighs in the crowd were suddenly heard. "But I will say this...this wedding might be the toughest test of our love. But after it's all said and done...it's smooth sailing, for the rest of our lives."

"Krystal, anything you wish-a to say to Fox?" Mario asked the vixen, who was very much allured by the works that Fox had just spoke.

"I think that Fox already said what needed to be said..." replied Krystal, with the biggest smile that Fox had ever seen. Seeing that both the bride and groom were satisfied, Mario shrugged.

"Very well then...by the power invested-a in me by Corneria, I now pronounce Fox and Krystal husband and wife. Fox, you may now..."

Fox didn't even bother to wait, as he immediately kissed Krystal. The crowd was cheering and applauding, as Fox and Krystal were now married. Soon Corrin came in, raining white confetti over Fox and Krystal.

"Is this...is this confetti?" questioned Krystal, breaking away from the kiss as she giggled. She looked at Fox, and soon enough she and Fox started kissing once more.

Corrin: We didn't have any rice, so we had to settle for some confetti instead... *leans in close to camera* ...I secretly ate all the rice. Don't tell anyone.

"It's so beautiful..." remarked Falco, with a tear running down from his eye. The avian pilot wiped away the tear. "...hopefully that was just allergies."

"All's well that ends well..." remarked Master Hand after seeing Fox and Krystal kiss, before looking towards Anna. "I can't thank you enough for posting Mario's bail, Anna. And Ryo's, too."

"Soooooo does this mean that you'll no longer hate me?" Anna asked Master Hand, looking at the giant hand with beady eyes.

"Uh...perhaps. I'll think about it. I'll let you come back home with us, but after that...you're on your own."

"Oh, Anna won't have much to worry about..." Cloud said quietly, still hanging around with Master Hand as he looked towards Aerith. Aerith smiled in response.

Everyone at the country club went over to the dining hall, to partake in the wedding reception. Fox and Krystal sat at the front, with the newlyweds and all the wedding guests enjoying Cilan's wedding cake and whatever food was served.

"Man, this gumbo is way better than I expected!" Fox told Krystal, as he was eating his bowl of gumbo like a madman. Krystal giggled at her husband's strong lack of table manners. "I've never seen you giggle this much in one day, Krystal."

"What can I say, love makes you do crazy things..." remarked Krystal, who giggled twice today - possibly tying a personal record for her. "...want some more cake?"

As Krystal fed Fox a spoonful of the wedding cake, Link and Zelda watched the newlyweds from a distance. Seeing Fox and Krystal had Link feeling things.

"So, princess...I reckon that we're next in line for marriage, huh?" Link smirked at Zelda, hinting at being married sometime in the future.

"It's possible we get married...at a later time," replied Zelda, as she walked away from Link. Link's smirk faded away, as Midna popped up behind him.

"Don't give your hopes up just yet," the imp advised Link, who had his eyes fixated on Zelda. "Who knows what will happen in the future..."

As Zelda walked away, there was a noticeably big smile on her face...seemed like the princess was pretty content.
