The next day, the Time Detectives, the Muspel trio, and Thor visited Jotun Loki in Jotunheim.

"Hey Bro, happy actual day-of-your-birth birthday!" Thor greeted and handed his brother a present. "I got this for you from Midgard: it plays musical accompaniment while providing lyrical text for you to sing! They called it a 'karaoke machine,' but I think this one shall be dubbed the 'KaraLoki Machine!'"

"Whoaaa, that sounds like so much fun! Thanks Bro!"

"Does it contain Midgardian songs, like from that Pelvis human you dressed as?" Laufey asked Thor.

"Elvis, Dad, you mean Elvis!"

"I know what I said." He curtly insisted.

Sylvie handed her fiancé a present next. "Happy birthday, Loki."

He unwrapped it and held the green-handled tool, eyeing it with curiosity as he saw multiple blades hidden inside. "What is this?"

"It's called a swiss army knife: I hear they're real handy! It may not be as strong as an Asgardian blade, but it's got a large knife, a small knife, a screwdriver, a pen, a nail filer, flashlight, fish scaler, bottle opener, lockpick, even a can opener, and it's so small, you can conceal it even without magic!" She grinned at him. "I thought you'd like that!"

"Oh, I love it! Just look at all these different blades! This is amazing, Sylvie!" Loki kissed her and handed her a gift in return. "And happy birthday to you too!" She opened the present to find a gorgeous green dress inside the box with matching boots. "You said a while back you wanted a comfier outfit: how's this?"

Sylvie held it up and magically replaced her current clothing with the dress and boots. "How do I look?" Detective Loki gazed at her, his mouth hung open in awe. "Stunning, I take it?"

Loki nodded. "Beyond words! It would seem we both have exquisite taste in gifts! It even has a pouch for you to conceal your sword, and there's inner pockets for a TemPad or dagger or anything else handy!"

"Does it have cupholders as well?" Sylvie sassed him.

Loki raised a mischievous eyebrow. "Yes, two in the front."

Puzzled, she looked down at her dress until a look of realization hit her, and she smacked her fiancé on the back of the head. "Oh very witty, clown! I thought you had more class than that!"

"Ehehe, I'll admit that was a bit crude and distasteful, but you practically walked right into that one!"

"Oh really!? Well, how about you walk right into this?!" Sylvie pulled her Loki towards her with telekinesis until their lips met. "Thanks for the dress, Lolo."

"And thank you for the multipurpose knives!"

"Speaking of gifts, I have a gift for both of you, as thanks for helping solve my brother's murder." Loki Laufeyson offered. "You both have that mind-reading magic, and since neither of you have known our mother, I thought you might like to see my own memories of her, from my mind."

Detective Loki's face lit up with curiosity. "Ah, yes, that's very thoughtful of you!"

"Yeah, that sounds nice." Sylvie agreed, and they both placed a hand on their Jotun counterpart's head, where they were taken to his early childhood. They immediately heard a sweet voice singing a lullaby to little Loki as a lovely Frost Giantess tucked him into bed. She kissed his forehead as he drifted off to sleep.

"Mamma, look at my snowmaiden!" The little prince called to her later. "It's hard to tell with snow, but she's a redhead!"

"Oh, is that your type, my handsome little prince charming?" Farbauti teased as she picked him up and ruffled his hair. "Well, you're going to grow up to be quite the ladies' man, aren't you?"

"Ehehe, Mom!"

"A redhead, huh? Is she based on someone not made of snow? What species is she based on then, a Asgardian? An elf? A Midgardian, perhaps?"

"Ehehehe, I'm not telling!"

"Oh you won't talk, huh? Alright tough guy, then I will have to torture the information out of you!" Farbauti warned before she relentlessly tickled his belly. He quickly succumbed to a fit of laughter until Laufey came over to his snow sculpture.

"Your snow crafting skills are getting better, Son. Very-" He stopped mid-sentence when he saw Loki in his mother's clutches, and she met his gaze with a mischievous one of her own. "Don't you dare, Farbauti."

She raised an eyebrow and set Loki down before she sped after Laufey, propelling herself with her own ice, before she tackled and tickled her husband's abdomen. "Oh no, she got you, Dad!"

"Fa-hahaharbauti, I-I sai-id no!" Laufey laughed in his deep, raspy voice as the scene transitioned to the next memory.

The three present day Lokis beamed as the rest of the heartwarming memories played out, until they exited his mind. Loki Laufeyson wiped back tears as his variants let go of him.

"Thank you for sharing your memories." Loki Mobiusson said. "That was rather sweet."

"I hope we get to meet one of her someday." Sylvie expressed.

The Jotun prince nodded. "I hope so too."

Fiamma then approached him. "I seldom do this, so count yourself very lucky, but… I want to apologize for my outburst earlier: it was unprofessional of me, and I lost my cool, no pun intended. I shouldn't have snapped at you like that."

"You're forgiven: I wasn't exactly kind, the way I flirted with your sister when I knew you were the one who wanted me, and I was a bit hasty to blame you for burning me. And you saved me from Gullveig's fire in the end, so we'll call it even."

"Good, then you won't let our first impression spoil your relationship with my sister, alright?"

Gnista blinked in shock at her sister's statement. "You mean… you don't mind if I date this Loki anymore?"

"Nah, there isn't any law that forbids two sisters from dating two different variants of the same person, and there are plenty of other Lokis in the multiverse." She looked back at Jotun Loki, who smiled. "But if you ever hurt her, I really will burn you to ashes!"

"Ehehehe, right…" The Jotun Prince replied.

Laufey glared at her. "If she tries such a thing again, I'll freeze her entire family to death."

"Dad…"

"We have something prepared for you too." Detective Loki offered his variant. "It's a Midgardian movie called Frozen: it isn't finished in this current day, so you'll be the first in your time to see it! It's about the queen of a Nordic country, born with ice powers she can't control, and her relationship with her younger sister, who travels across the frozen wasteland her sister accidentally created to try and bring her home from her self-exile and bring summer back to the land before everyone freezes to death!"

"Sounds exciting!"

"Oh, and it's a musical!" He added, looking to Thor.

"What are we waiting for? To Midgard!" Thor proclaimed.

"H-h-h-he's r-r-right, wha-what are we wa-wa-waiting f-f-f-f-for?" Mobius shivered under his layers of warm coats. "Let's g-go, it's f-f-freezing here! Brrrr~!"

Back at the Madsen residence in 2017, after Detective Loki recounted the tale of his recent case to his biggest fan, Røskva and her parents sat near Fiamma and her siblings to keep warm, since Jotun Loki, his dad, and his Ice Bros chilled the air and the furniture around them as they all watched the movie.

"Another case, another Loki?" Mrs. Madsen asked.

"Pretty much." Mobius replied.

"The more, the merrier, in my opinion!" Røskva remarked.

"I agree!" Party Thor expressed. "And this popped corn you have prepared for us is deliciously addicting!"

"I agreeee!"

Logi Surturson stared at the Symbiote, who opened wide as his host took turns flinging popcorn into both Healer's and his own mouth.

"Wait a minute…" Logi realized. "Was that alien inside of you during our eating contest?"

"Yesss I wasss!"

"Then… then you cheated! Our match was supposed to be one-on-one!"

"And it was." Loki clarified. "Since Healer, then known as Grievance, merged with me, we have been and are one and the same, so technically, it was one-on-one: he just gave a little boost to my immune system is all."

"Tch, I still call it cheating, reasoned like a Loki. Gnista, you're knowledgable about rules and things… wasn't he cheating?"

"Who cares?" She shrugged. "What are you gonna do if it is, un-tell him where our sister is? She's right here." She nonchalantly remarked as she passed her brother the muspeppers.

"…Fair point."

The Frost Giant Loki snuggled with Gnista as Anna heroically sacrificed herself to protect her sister, turning to ice in the process. They then cheered as Anna's love for her sister Elsa thawed her frozen heart and brought her back to life, to Hans's dismay.

Gnista spoke to her Loki. "You know, call me philosophical, but it seems like the theme of sibling love has been circling over us like vultures since we started your case, and even here in this motion picture!"

"It began with two brothers…" Loki Laufeyson remarked.

"…and it ended with two sisters in addition, just like this movie." Fiamma finished. "Well, two sets of two if you count Gnista and me."

Logi shrugged. "Yeah. Maybe those goddesses of thunder weren't so different from us."

Sylvie nodded. "I hope we get to meet Frigg again too someday, in one timeline or another."

They continued watching as Anna faced her sister's attempted killer. "The only frozen heart around here is yours." She smoothly told him before punching him in the face so hard, he fell into the melted fjord. Everyone in the house applauded and laughed.

"Ooh, can we get an instant replay of that?" Detective Loki requested.

"Make it a slow motion replayyy!" Healer added out loud.

"I'd be more than happy to!" So Mr. Madsen happily obliged them, and they enjoyed the loop of the moment repeat as many times as they wished before they resumed the film, leading to the happily ever after!
