Chapter is rated T for hate comments against Richard Winsor, but they are NOT my opinions, I like both him and George as actors, the hate comments are purely for the chapter. Also, there is a tiny bit of swearing.

bronny9: Thank you for the review, I'm glad you thought the last few chapters were well written, I enjoyed writing them.

The Secret Life Of Casualty.

Chapter 323.

Richard and George returned to their flat after a hard days filming, both men were looking forward to having a beer, and going for a kick about tomorrow morning with Michael Steveson, who played Paramedic, Iain Dean, in the BBC drama in which they both starred in and had no plans to leave at the moment.

George logged in to his Twitter page where his profile pic was a picture of him and Richard, as their characters, Caleb Knight and Ethan Hardy. George saw that he had a notification on his page, he clicked on it.

"Anonymous "likes" your post and has added a comment.

Had a good day at work today, with Richard. "

He closed his laptop and forgot about the post, until a few hours later, when he checked his page just before he went to bed, after Richard had cooked them both dinner.

"Why? He's a waste of space"

George paled, it wasn't nice to read negative comments about people you didn't even know. It made that person feel as if they had done something wrong.

"George what is it?" Richard asked, seeing his friends distressed state.

"Nothing." His friend replied, but it was clear he was lying, Richard knew his friend was a bad liar.

Richard took the laptop from George's reach and scrolled through his friends feed. He read George's post.

"Had a good day at work today, with Richard. "

Then they were the comments and they didn't exactly fil Richard with hope.

"Who would employ Richard to work on a show like Casualty? His character is dumb. "

"Richard" George said, trying to move the laptop out of his way but Richard held on to it.

"He's a shit actor"

"Richard, please " George pleaded, but Richard ignored him.

"I hate Richard"

"George is the better actor. "

All of these comments were anonymous, there was no way to trace them. And they were just by spiteful idiots who had nothing else better to do other than to hide behind a screen and write hateful words.

"Well, I am the better actor than you" George laughed, not seeing the distress on his friends face. Richard soon jumped up and headed in to the bathroom where he vomited in to the bowl.

Hurt and humiliation welled up inside of him as Richard vomited in to the toilet bowl, George rubbed his back, whispering. "It's ok, mate"

"You said you were better than me" He whispered.

George pulled some toilet paper off it's holder and handed it to him as he wiped his mouth. "I was joking, but I see now, that it hurt you, I'm sorry"

Richard just looked at George for a few minutes before again vomiting. George sighed, continuing to rub his back until Richard was sure he had emptied his stomach of everything he needed to. He sat back, breathing deeply.

Ethan reported the page and waited for more action.

The police had called George, saying they had seen the comments and they were able to shut down the paqe, but that didn't stop the hurt.

When the two friends returned to work, it had seemed that Amanda Mealing who played Clinical Lead, Connie Beachaump, had, had a word with them over Richard's online bullying as they treated him kindly, said kind words and invited both boys to the pub but for once they refused.

Heading home after another day, they stopped off at a local shop as their fridge was almost empty. George paid for the shopping and they carried it to the car and George got behind the wheel, starting the engine while Richard put on the radio. They soon pulled in to their car park place and got out, locking up to head up the stairs to their top floor flat. Richard unlocked the door as they walked in, locking up behind them.

George logged in to his laptop and checked his page again as Richard looked anxiously at him.

"No. " George shook his head. "No nasty comments"

Richard breathed a sigh of relief and George rubbed his arm. They ordered a takeaway to celebrate and watched a rugby match. It was one of Richard's favourite things to do and George would do anything to make his friend happy.

Another week, another day in RESUS where Richard's character was admitted in to RESUS after being stabbed by a relative, it was touch and go, for him for a while and Richard felt strange watching the dummy they'd drafted in as him have a ventilation tube put down his throat. It did feel like it was him. He watched as Janye Griffiths picked up a scalpel and cut in to the dummy's chest, and placed an instrument in the incision before looking at the monitor, the BP of him was low and Richard was scared.

"He needs shocking. " Richard heard one of his colleagues say as they got the pads and ripped his shirt open before applying the pads and picking up the defib. If this dummy "died" he'd be out of a job. He ran a hand over his face and felt sweat which he wiped on his jeans. George, in character, announced they had a pulse and looked over at Richard who was outside the RESUS set.

Things were finally looking up for the both of them.

It turns out, Richard had spoken too soon as when they George checked his mail, he found some envelopes addressed to

George was going to open it, but Richard took the envelope from him. He took a deep breath before he opened the envelope and unfolded the paper bracing himself for what it may say.

"Your Casualty character should be stabbed"

Tears stung his eyes. It was one thing to want him dead, but a character in which he enjoyed playing very much? And would be devastated if he lost his job as that meant he wouldn't be able to work That was. He shook his head.

Richard screwed the paper in to a ball and tossed it in to the bin. He refused to let these immature people upset him any more, he had to take back control. He didn't know how to though and that scared him slightly, it reminded him of school where he had been popular, but in a rugby match, he'd lost and his teammates had turned against him, by stealing his clothes so he had nothing to put back on when he come out of the showers. The memory caused him to bite his lip and he was sure he could taste blood. He looked in the mirror and saw that his lip was bleeding. He sighed and dabbed a tissue under the cold tap before placing it on his lip, it stung a bit but it helped.

Someone rang the bell to the flat, Richard answered it. There was no one there but as he went to shut the door, he saw a dummy, similar to the one they'd used as him, but this one had it's eyes scratched out and it's arm, snapped off. Richard had a sickening feeling that whoever was doing this wanted him dead, the thought made him feel lightheaded and he threw up again.

At work, both boys had realised the atmosphere had changed. They walked in, dressed in their on - screen scrubs, and smiled at various colleagues, but they were both glared at and they weren't sure why.

"What's going on?" George asked.

Amanda Mealing produced a folded piece of paper from her pocket and handed it to Richard, who took it and unfolded it. On it were a few words.

"I hate my colleagues"

Richard stared at the words, he didn't write this, he would have remembered if he had written it, wouldn't he?

"I didn't write this" He said, desperate to be believed, but by the looks on both Amanda's faces, Crystal's, Tony's, and

"We only hired you for your looks. " One of the camera men sneered.

"Your not really that great at football" Michael sneered, walking off.

Being nice to him had only been an act and that made him so much worse,. He had a mind to quit but hen he would be letting them win.

George walked up the stairs, which housed Amanda's characters office, but in reality went nowhere. He cleared his throat which got the attention of his colleagues..

"You should be ashamed of yourselves. Bullying is not acceptable!" He snapped.

Some of them were shame faced, mumbling apologises, saying they weren't aware he was getting upset.

They then left then.

"Thank you, " Said Richard, putting his arm around his friend as they headed to the car park

The two boys were on day off and for once, they set themselves a challenge. Go the week without using any technology and whoever failed, had to clean the

Richard accepted the challenge and shook his friends hand as they went around the flat, unplugging all their electric devices as they porepared to undertake the weeks challenge. It would be easy or so they thought. Whenever Richard thioughty abouyt reaching for his phone or laptop, he went outside for a few minutes or went for a jog while listening to his

George lost the bet just a day before it was due to end, as his wife rang him, during when the boys were filming, George lived with his on - screen brother as it was easier and it meant George didn't have to commute, he spoke to his

George's children rang their father and enjoyed talking to their "uncle Rich"

Richard and George took the kids to the park and brought them a burgae and chips,

After they've returned the kids to George's wife and George had kissed

The two of them reminisce about their screen test when they were approached for their auditions to play two brothers by their agents, who were also brothers, it was a strange conidence. On their screen test, they had to argue as their on - screen mother, Matilda was dying and both of them had rehearsed their scripts, as Richard's character couldn't cope and had run away leaving George's character to try to find him but he had no luck and was about to ring the police when he turned up at their flat and admitted he ran because he was scared and

Richard's favourite scene so far on the show was when his co - star, Sarah Janye Dunn, was cast as an love interest for Cal and Taylor Ashbie, had a baby while in prison and she broke out, claiming the baby was his, and Taylor had required medical attention and as Cal and Ethan worked together to try to save Taylor's life, the baby whimpered in distress as she wanted her.

The baby had turned out not to be his leaving him devastated as he spent the days getting to know her, buying her toys, clothes and taking her in to the ED where their colleagues enjoyed fussing over her, and Richard got to spent the days with the adorable little girl who had been cast to play his littler girl, she was a joy to work with as she knew what she doing, Richard was devastated when she left the case, as her real life parents didn't want her filming anymore.

George's favourite scene on the show so far was he and Taylor went on the run.

George enjoyed it when him and he and Richard got time to themselves, as they played silly games, stuck toungues out at each other and held each other tightly, they may have only been brothers on screen for pretend but outside of work when they were together, people thought they were.
