Charlotte Taylor 1: Thank you for both of the reviews. I was sorry to hear about what had almost happened to you.

The Secret Life Of Casualty

Ruby was surprised to get a knock at the door, a few days after her attack, she wasn't expecting anyone, the police had been around this morning to question her about what had happened. She slowly walked in to the hallway and unlocked the door.

"Hey, "

"Iain" Ruby's eyebrows knotted in confusion, the two friends had, had no contact since he left for HEM's, but here he was, standing on the doorstep.

"Aren't you going to invite me in?" He asked.

Ruby nodded. "Sure," she took a step back to allow Iain in to the small flat. He followed her in to the living room and sat down on the couch.

"How's HEM'S?" Ruby asked, after she had made them both a coffee and was sat on the couch, with her knees pulled up to her chest. She decided the news about her could wait, she knew if she told him first he'd beat himself up about why he wasn't here to protect her.

Iain nodded. "It's good. "

Ruby nodded. "Good"

"What's been happening at the ED?" Iain asked.

Where did Ruby start?

"We've had a new paramedic. Lev his name is. " Ruby told him.

"Cool. " He nodded.

"What about you?" Iain asked.

"Me?" Ruby said, she never did like talking about herself.

Iain nodded. "We've talked about me, now it's your turn. "

"Iain..." Ruby whispered.

"Yeah?" He asked, noticing the colour draining from her face slowly.

"Something happened. "

Iain leaned forward and with urgency in his voice asked. "What happened?"

"I was rpaed. "

This will be my last Ruby chapter for a while, as I said in my previous chapter, I do feel as if the story is becoming about her (and I need a break from writing her, Iain and Lev.) Short update as I've updated once tonight.
