The Secret Life Of Casualty.

Chapter 876

fter listening to her mum and stepdad, Adam, argue, 12 year old, Amelia Anderson, sighed to herself and walked out of her bedroom, heading down the stairs. She had hoped for a fresh start with her mum, reuniting with Adam, since returning from America. Adam had been getting close to a nurse called Kirsty, who had a daughter of her own.

Noticing Adam's wallet on the table, in the living room, Amelia opened it and took out some money, opening the front door.

Walking in to a shop, she brought a small teddy with Adam's money and headed to the cemetery.

"Hi Harry." she whispered. She sat in front of her brothers grave, looking at the lettering which was beginning to fade.

Meanwhile, Jess walked in to her daughters room, only to find it empty. Panic rose inside her and she yelled. "Adam"

"What?" Adam shouted back.

"Amelia's gone" Jessica replied. The last time, she had been gone, was when Sean had taken her and her brother to Saudi.

"Calm down, Jess, we'll find her. " Adam said, as he reached the top of the stairs, pulling his partner in to a hug, their earlier argument, forgotten.

Grabbing their coats from the banister, the couple were out the door, Jess calling Tess to say they wouldn't be in for their shifts that day. She called her father, to see if he'd heard anything. Sean hadn't heard anything. Jessica ran a hand over her face, just where could she have gone?

Adam saw a sign for the cemetery and turned, neither one of them had set foot in here, since Harry.

"Jess, there she is. " Adam shouted, seeing a small girl crouched in front of a grave.

Jessica ran over to Amelia, "Don't you scare me, like again, OK"

Amelia looked up at her mum. "I missed Harry. "

"I know, Melly, I do as well. " Jessica whispered.

Adam joined his partner and her daughter, noticing the blue teddy.

"Did you buy that?" He asked.

"I didn't want him to be alone. " Amelia replied. Jess kissed her daughters head, proud of the young woman her daughter was turning in to.
