A.N. — Since there's two days before the next birthday, I decided to do a pair of loosely-connected characters in this space. The first is a hero, the second is a villain. One died during the Paranormal Liberation War, the other saw his star rise because of it. Up first, the one we know far less about.

258. Eel Boy

Eel Boy was a veteran hero, though rather unknown. His years of duty were a testament to his skill, but he just didn't stick out aside from his bright yellow bodysuit. The namesake fish he sprouted from the backs of his hands could be seen as repulsive, despite their dexterity in both finding and restraining villains.

Ironically, Eel Boy got the most notoriety after his death.

Himiko Toga took on Eel Boy's form in battle during the Paranormal Liberation War. The vision of her rampaging as the dead hero was indelibly etched into the minds of those who saw it.
