For most people, suddenly being blasted by a desperate psychic call and then teleported away would be enough to cause a mental break, but for Peter this wasn't even among the strangest things he had to experience. Having been a superhero and a member of the Avengers for had granted him sort of an inoculation to unexplainable things, as he learned to immediately adapt to the surroundings that he suddenly found himself in. However, that was before his rebirth and before this particular instance… Because right now, he knew exactly where he was, and what has happened.
Swinging through the New York and heading back home, Peter had thought that his day was over, and just as he was about to reach his destination, he heard that cry of agony, pain, desperation and plea. It was so powerful and deafening, that Peter thought he had lost his hearing for a second… Until he realized that this cry came not from anywhere near or was picked up by his ears. It came through his Spider-Sense, and his mind, or rather soul, had registered what was that one word that came from it, and who was the sender.
Father… That was the message and plea, coming not from any stranger, but from someone who shared Peter's blood. It was someone who extremely close, someone… Like his little Felicity, and this was the last thought that crossed his mind, before he was practically yanked from his spot and sent through space and time to the location of where the call originated from. It was impossible to perceive for Peter exactly how long he was travelling, but there was one thing he picked up, and that was another message, one that came from his patron deity and de-facto step-mother, Gaea herself, as he traversed, what Peter believed to be, the Web of Life and Destiny.
"My Champion, I have urgent need of you. You have heard the cry for help, as have I, and it came from your eldest child, Felicity, yet one who is not of this time. She is from future time, where she had donned the name and mantle of Arachne and assumed duties as protector of Web of Life and Destiny, following in your footsteps, yet encompassing greater range than any other before her, but now she was captured and tortured. Save her, Peter."
This was enough for Peter to understand what had happened, and the moment he reentered reality, he found himself standing before the broken shards of the cage… and the pained and unconscious form of Felicity. From the very second Peter saw her, he realized that this young girl was indeed his daughter, what she would grow up to be like, the perfect mix of Felicia and him. The next moment, his Spider-Sense connected with her, and he could almost physically sense her pain, and without thinking he knelt before her and began to heal her, through his bio-electricity. Months ago, Julia Carpenter, the Madame Web, made sure to educate Peter in all aspects of his powers and how to utilize them, and he learned that his bio-electricity had both harmful, and healing properties, when used correctly.
Thanks to her training, he was now able to apply his power to heal his daughter, preventing her very molecular structure from falling apart and save her life. The moment he sensed her life no longer at risk was perhaps one of the greatest reliefs in his life… but right after that came the purest, unadulterated fury and wrath at whoever was responsible for it. Spider-Man did not care one bit as to the reasons, identities of the perpetrators or anything like that- all he cared about was that his daughter was hurt, and he was going to break and kill everyone who had a hand in it.
And when the smoke cleared and dust settled, Peter saw those that had a hand in this: Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Mister Fantastic, Black Bolt, Namor and Charles Xavier. In any other situation, Peter would've questioned what exactly were these people doing in here, and why they captured his daughter, tortured and hurt her… But in this very instance, he did not give a damn.
"I will ask only once." Peter Parker spoke in a tone that shook even Black Bolt and Namor. "What. Did. You. Do. To. My. Daughter?" By the end of this, Venom was fully deployed on his body and ready to fight, and the rest of these "heroes" looked clearly threatened.
"Peter, look, I know you are confused and don't get what you are doing here, but…" Tony Stark tried to speak up, but then was interrupted by Peter.
"I know exactly why I am here, and what has happened here, Stark." Peter's cold tone was enough shut him up, as Spider-Man made a few steps forward. "You kidnapped my daughter, and you tortured her…"
"Mister Parker, I can assure you, that your daughter is fine and…" Charles Xavier tried to reason with Peter Parker, but what he and others did not realize, was the fact that Peter was beyond reasoning.
Before Xavier could even finish the sentence or anyone could react, a black tendril reached from Peter's back to him, wrapping around Xavier's throat and lifted him up above the ground, chocking him, before tossing him aside with enough force to turn his head into a gory soup of broken skull fragments, blood and brain matter upon impact. The only thing that saved Xavier from such fate was intervention by Doctor Strange, who stopped him mid-flight and slowed his fall by magic, but this was exactly what Peter Parker needed. The attention of the Illuminati drawn away for even the second was something they could not afford, not with Spider-Man, and he made full use of his window, as he blitzed in one jump Doctor Strange the very same moment he casted his spell.
Without even the time to process or look at what was about to happen to him, Steven Strange was sent flying into the air by a powerful uppercut, one that nearly crushed Strange's jaw, had it not been for his very magic reinforcing his body bones. Still, the sheer power Parker's punch was enough to break Strange's spell on Xavier and even caused this pocket dimension's boundary to shake, as he was sent flying into the air. This was not the end of Parker's assault, however, as he grabbed Strange by the leg before he could fly far away, before slamming him down on the ground with enough force to break Strange's face and many bones, and then tossing his barely living body away. At this point, the rest of the heroes finally began to react and the first one to move was Namor.
"IMPERIOUS REX!" Namor shouted in pride as he flew at Spider-Man with all of his speed and strength, slamming into him and creating a crater underneath Parker from the sheer force of the impact.
The sheer power of that attack was enough to cover the entire area in a new dust and dirt screen, obscuring the view, yet within the crater, Namor wasted no time, and began to mercilessly slam his fists into Spider-Man, giving not a damn about whether Spider-Man was to live or not.
"You have spun your last web, insect." Namor stated with pride, as he continued to slam fists into Peter Parker without any restraint. "You dared to think that you stood a chance against me, the King of Atlantis and Ruler of the Seven Seas? I shall punish your for your arrogance and stupidity, and once I'm done with you, I will make that spawn of yours beg for death, for I shall…" With every word, a new punch, one that could hurt even The Hulk, and kill lesser superheroes…
But not Spider-Man, not today, as he caught one of Namor's fists, holding it completely still in place, perturbing and then shocking Namor at the realization: Spider-Man took every one of his punches and the earlier attacks, and he was still able to fight and stop Namor's fist. There was no denying that in the whole world, Namor was one of it's most physically powerful members, able to go to toe with the Savage Hulk, Hercules and Thor with his own fists. And now, Spider-Man, a mutate that Namor considered less than noteworthy of his attention and interest, just stopped his hand from striking him, after taking almost 70 punches. Namor noticed the next second that a powerful red glow came around Peter Parker, before gathered his strength and finally punched Namor in the face. The sheer strength of the that punch was enough to send Namor flying through the edge of the crater and burrow deep into the ground, before he flew out of that hole, far more furious than he was before.
"You… You DARE strike me?! Insolent cur, you dare strike the King of Atlantis and…" Before Namor could finish his sentence, Spider-Man webbed his mouth shut, before slamming into him.
Channeling his mystical energies into his body and having Venom augment his power, Peter Parker unleashed his fury at Namor, striking the mercurial and arrogant King of Atlantis harder than he ever punched anyone else in his life. Many believed that Spider-Man wasn't such a tough opponent, but they forget that he had went up against some of the most powerful beings on and beyond Earth, and had either won, or survived where others didn't. Doctor Doom, Thanos, Ultron, The Hulk, The Sentry, Magneto, Apocalypse – all them and more Peter Parker faced, fought and tanked attacks from, and walked away after the fight still alive, with some even being defeated, and that was before he was Gaea's chosen Champion, before his daughter was tortured.
And now his strength was enough to send Namor flying back, and the following punch sent several of his teeth out of his jaw, as they slammed into the dirt, with Peter not wasting any time and laying down the smack down on Namor. Bolts of electricity flew and pierced Namor with every strike, as Peter beat him across his face, drawing blood and breaking his skin, which was not something most could boast about. Within a span of half a second, Spider-Man struck Namor just as many times as he did before, and then ended that combo with a powerful upper cut, sending the King of Atlantis flying into the air through stone, dirt and soil, bursting out with a geyser of roots and earth.
With a near primal roar, Spider-Man jumped into the air above Namor, before sending two web lines from his hands, and using them to propel himself down onto the ground with all his force. He dived down straight at Namor, hitting his spine with his legs and sending himself flying down, slamming Namor face first into the ground and hearing him cry out of pain, as Spider-Man heard Sub-mariner's spine crack and brake underneath his feet, as the island shook from sheer force of the attack. Stepping off the beaten Sub-Mariner, Spider-Man already prepared to go after a new target, but then he heard one word…
"Enough." One word- and the area around Peter Parker flattened and crumbled, while he felt his ears bleed, but not before he heard Venom's cry of anguish, as the Symbiote was literally ripped out of him by the powerful sonic wave.
The sheer power of that sonic attack, most definitely the courtesy of Black Bolt, was enough to burst Peter's eardrums and cause fractures in various parts of his skeleton, but the forceful separation from Venom had caused him to black out for a second from pure agony. The first separation was nothing compared to this one, as Peter literally felt Venom being torn to shreds as he was ripped out of him, and only through their shared sense did he know that Venom still lived. Gritting his teeth from pain and agony as his body ached and he bled from ears and nose, Peter tried to pick himself up and move, but then a whole new wave of pain and suffering came upon him, as he cried when his head felt like it was about to be ripped apart from the inside.
The Illuminati had finally gained their upper hand over Peter Parker, and now Charles Xavier used the moment after Black Bolt's voice was heard to disable Spider-Man, while others gathered.
"Mister Parker, for what it's worth, I do apologize to you for what you've seen. I know you can hear my words in your mind, and let me assure you, that this will all be over once I've erased your memories of this moment." Charles said, transmitting his words straight into Peter's mind, as he held him in a psychic lock and attempted to take control of his mind and erase his memories. "H-He… He is proving very… resistant to my power. I can communicate, but not affect his mind… It is almost as if he wears Magneto's helmet or something akin to it…"
"It's his Spider-Sense, I have theorized that it could possess more properties than simple warning system for Peter." Tony Stark spoke up, as he looked at his former comrade writhing in agony and pain, before seeing the Symbiote trying to make his way to him. "Not so fast." And with this word, Tony fired a particle beam that enveloped the entirety of Venom in a force field bubble, preventing him from returning back to Spider-Man.
"To think that this Symbiote had given him such a great augmentation of powers, enough to even defeat Namor… I think it would be prudent to study it, for it's properties could prove highly beneficial and valuable to the humanity and…" Reed Richards was already drawing up plans for it, before the energy ball containing symbiote suddenly disappeared. "Where did it go?"
"Somewhere not even you can follow, Doctor Richards." Steven Strange spoke up with some pain, as his body was mostly done being restored to full capacity, as he joined the other Illuminati. "As much as I may respect you and your desire for scientific advancement, Doctor Richards, but your last research and experiment with volatile Nuform tells me, that our captive may have a point. Now, let me undo at least some damage done…" Steven said, as he began to cast his spell upon Namor, to heal his wounds.
"For all we know, she was lying to us to get out of her predicament and preventing us from retrieving the Stones. Do you honestly think that I would've willingly put our universe at risk for the sake of my research?" Reed asked of his fellow Illuminati, with Stark delivering the answer.
"Do you really want us to answer that question, Reed? Don't forget, everyone here knows how exactly The Sentry found this universe and nearly got into it, and that was because you've stumbled into his universe while out and about with your family, travelling different dimensions." Tony reminded Reed, who held back from telling back. "Anyway, it doesn't matter now. What matters is that we wrap this up fast before anyone notices Peter being absent, and I do not want Fury on my back any more than I do now. Xavier, how is the mind wipe coming along?"
"Not at all." Xavier said with a strained sigh, as he stopped and finally allowed Peter to lay still. "Whatever hidden ability he has, it prevents me from affecting his mind in any form or manner."
"Then we do it through magic." Iron Man said, as Steven Strange was finally finished with Namor.
"No… He dies here and today." Namor stated with absolute fury, as he rose up to his feet, but before he could get to Parker, Iron Man put himself between Namor and Peter. "Out of my way, Stark, or I'll collect your spine in addition to his!" Namor threatened, with Iron Man's weapons coming alive and pointing at the Mutant-Atlantean Hybrid.
"No offence, Namor, but he can't die, or else it will bring unnecessary attention, which may threaten to reveal us and our club to the rest…" Tony tried to explain his point to Namor, but he wasn't in the mood to listen.
"To bloody hell with your conspiracy, Stark! That dirty human dared to strike me, broke my spine and defied me! I've executed family members for less, and that upstart insect will not live when my blood died when defying me and my will!" Namor literally shoved Iron Man away, before moving to Parker, but then he and everyone else were frozen in place. "What is this sorcery, Strange?!"
"It was not…" Strange was not able to speak up, before all of the Illuminati were lifted of their spots, and then sent flying through the jungles of the forest.
"So nice of them, to forget all about me." Felicity Parker, aka Arachne, spoke up right after she sent the Illuminati flying away with her power, before she made her way to her father on wobbly legs, still weak from nearly being atomized. "Thank god Mom's not here to see you like that, Dad. Okay, this will feel a bit weird, but bear with me." Felicity said, before she used her powers on Peter, and all of the damage inflicted upon him began to reverse and disappear, and in the next second, Spider-Man was fully healed and conscious.
"Ugh, that was odd… Felicity!" Peter immediately caught the wobbly form of Arachne, gently setting her down. "You shouldn't push yourself so much after what they did to you." Without even thinking, Peter began to transfer more of his energy to his daughter, expediting her recovery.
"Sorry, not really my style, and if you want to blame someone for it, look in the mirror." Felicity said, as the two rose up to their feet. "Moms always said I've picked all the best qualities from you." Felicity joked, with Peter chuckling, as he still held her by hand.
"I imagine..." Peter said. "You okay now?" Peter asked of her, as he gently let go of her hand, with Felicity nodding.
"Yeah, nowhere near my normal butt-kicking self, but I'll make do." Felicity said with a sigh, before she turned to face her father's past version. "You must have a lot of questions as to what and why this all just happened."
"Honestly, I'm just glad I got here in time and you are doing better now, that's all. As for questions… Whatever you did, if I've raised you right, then you did something you believe was right, and they are after you because of it." Peter said, with Felicity nodding. "Then that's enough for me." The look on Felicity's face said volumes, as she softly smiled to her dad.
"Thank you. It means a lot for me, Dad." Felicity said, with Peter already thinking ahead.
"You need to find a way out of here, wherever "this" is." Peter said, as he looked around and above. "Looks like some form of a pocket dimension."
"It is, and normally, getting out of this sort of thing wouldn't be a problem for me, but I'm still shaking off the effects of that cube and molecular destabilizer of Richards, so my powers are really out of whack. Otherwise we would've already been out of here." Felicity said, as she sensed the incoming danger. "And they are regrouping now, and Namor really wants to break your spine now."
"Feeling's mutual." Peter said, before a thought crossed his mind. "What exactly are your powers? Did you inherit Licia's probability manipulation and Spider-Sense?"
"Not quite, but in addition to the standard Spider powers package, I can control Space and Time, literally in all aspects, and able to see, perceive all dimensions, universes and whole world around me at all time." Felicity stated to Peter, clearly surprising him. "Yeah, I know, I was not the easiest kid to raise, especially when I could suddenly end up in Ancient Egypt when I sneezed the wrong way."
"Please tell me that was just an example." Peter asked of Felicity, but she smiled and chuckled. "Okay, can you break out of here?"
"Normally, yeah, I would've but not right now, and Strange's definitely upped up the defenses, probably fearing my little brother Eric." Felicity said without thinking, drawing Peter's attention. "Oh… Spoiler." She added afterwards.
"Do I want to know?" Peter asked of her, with Felicity keeping quiet. "Probably not, lest I cause some sort of time paradox and collapse the whole universe into nothing."
"Don't worry, it doesn't really work like that." Felicity said, as the Illuminati finally approached them, with peter placing himself between Felicity and the others.
"Okay, Miss, I'd say you've made your point. As have you, Peter." Tony Stark took the charge, speaking up to the three. "I know what we did was not exactly what superheroes do, but this is for the best of Earth, Peter. Your future version of daughter stole something from us, something that can protect Earth from the worst things out there, and she needs to give them back to us."
"Relinquish the Stones, girl, and we'll spare you and your father. Resist, and there shall be no salvation for you." Namor threatened, with Peter turning to face him.
"One more threat from you, Namor, and the next thing I break will be your neck." Peter promised to Namor, with Sub-Mariner snarling and already leaping at Peter, but stopped in the next moment by Strange, placing a barrier around Namor, preventing him from attacking.
"Peter, please, do not escalate this anymore than it already is." Strange asked of him. "You do not understand the stakes involved in all of this. Her actions threaten the entirety of Earth and all of existence, and we cannot let that stand."
"Tell that to Gaea, Strange, because she told me to protect her, no matter what. And you know what I will do for my family." Peter stated, with Strange freezing in the moment.
"Enough of this pointless defiance, Parker. We are fully aware of your powers and how you can utilize them, and we have all the necessary resources to counter and defeat you. Black Bolt alone can turn you into a bloody mist." Reed spoke up, as he turned to Arachne. "Return the Infinity Stones and the Gauntlet to us, or face the consequences of your foolishness."
"No." Felicity reiterated her answer, with Reed glaring at her, before he turned to Black Bolt and nodded. "Oh no, you don't." Felicity said, before activating her activating her powers, with Bolt's lips suddenly sealed shut, and then fused together preventing him from shouting.
"She used her spatial control to fuse Black Bolt's lips on a molecular level." Charles Xavier stated, carried around thanks to Strange's magic.
"Then we do this the old fashioned way." And at that moment, the Spider-Sense of both Arachne and Spider-Man lit up, but before they could move away, they heard ad ear-splitting sound that forced them to their knees while hissing and crying from pain again. "You should not have resisted it so much."
"What exactly is going on with them?" Reed asked of Tony.
"Remember back in the day when Peter used to rock that Iron Spider Armor I gave him? Well, through it I was able to scan and study his physiology, and find out about his Spider-Sense, that he kept quiet about at the time. I've also learned that akin to animals, Peter can pick up certain frequencies that we can't hear, so in the time we've had, I've outfitted this whole island with sonic emitters. They are now transmitting a frequency, that activates their pain receptors and causes them to feel pain all over." Tony stated, as Peter and Felicity writhed in pain. "A few more seconds, and they'll lose consciousness and then…"
Yet before that could happen, Arachne had managed to gather enough of her strength and power, persevering through agony, she used her spatial power to push away every sound molecule, creating a bubble around her and Peter, shocking the Illuminati. Knowing that she had only a few seconds at most to do anything, as her nerves still flared in sheer agony, she did two things she could. First was restore her own suit back to it's original condition, knowing it could provide her protection from such sound waves, and the second one was getting her father what he needed- a suit of his own. Being from the future and having grown up on his stories, not to mention literally being able to perceive all there is to know about realities and dimensions, Felicity knew that in this time and moment, Peter Parker had something that could give him an edge right now, even when separated from Venom, and so she transported it straight here. The next second the Illuminati saw how a literal blob of what appeared to be chrome-white liquid dropped onto Peter Parker covering him head to toe, enveloping him completely.
"Ugh, what is that disgusting thing?" Namor asked in complete disgust, as he watched the formless mass envelop Peter Parker, while Felicity stood guard over him.
"I'm scanning it now and… It's some kind of metallic liquid nanotech, but with properties of Unstable Molecules that we've seen in…" Then Stark finally realized what it was. "It's the prototype of Arachne's suit!" Stark declared, just as the metallic mass suddenly began to change size and shape, before forming around Peter Parker into a whole new suit.
The entire suit was chrome-white in color, seemingly being a singular one piece, but then details began to form around it, segmenting and creating details to it, such as the symbol of large spider on the chest and back, as well as familiar lenses. The suit took a few seconds, shifting and moving almost like a Symbiote, before it fully settled in, demonstrating some sort of shape-shifting abilities like Venom, if only limited ones. Once the suit was fully assembled and operational, Spider-Man stood up, before nodding to Arachne, and then unleashed a powerful energy blast from his body, which blinded all for the second. That second was enough for the two arachnids to go on the offensive, as Arachne leap and landed powerful double kick at Doctor Strange, sending him flying straight into a prepared portal.
Her father did not waste his time or breathe, as he went after Namor, surprising the Sub-Mariner once again with his speed and sent him flying by a charged up hook to the face, sending him tumbling and crashing through the already destroyed scenery. That moment Black Bolt, still deprived of his ability to say a thing, decided to use his Inhuman physiology in more primitive way, attempting to punch Peter Parker while his back was turned, but by now, Spider-Man's senses were once more operational, and he easily avoided Black Bolt's attack. Turning around, he caught Bolt's fist in midflight, which was rather powerful, but not as much as Namor's, and then crushed it in his own hand, before delivering a swift and precise strike at one place that he regarded as his weakness- his throat. The punch was delivered and Black Bolt immediately felt it's effect, as he stepped back, clutching his throat and now broken windpipe in silent pain, unable to say a thing or communicate anything, falling to his knees. Following that and not wanting to deal with the man any more than that, Spider-Man channeled power into his foot and then delivered a powerful kick straight into the chin, sending the Inhuman King flying with blood out of his mouth. Then he zipped him right back to him via web, only to deliver an extremely strong punch right in the solar plexus, cracking it and then an additional one to the back of his head, knocking the disabled Black Bolt out for good this time.
Meanwhile, Arachne kept herself busy by avoiding Mister Fantastic and his malleable limbs, which he used to trap Arachne, but to no avail, as the daughter of Spider-Man was simply outside of his league in terms of speed, not to mention her ability to bend space and time to her whim. And even in the decreased state, they were still extremely powerful and dangerous when used in the right way, like she did now, when she used her powers to create spatial blasts all over elongated form of Reed Richards, shaking and shocking his body. Crying in pain, he then sensed as his body suddenly stretched without his command and he found himself literally wrapped around five palm trees to the point of breaking or rather, shredding, while Arachne had to again busy herself with the returned Strange, evading his spells.
Moment Peter disabled Black Bolt was when Iron Man decided to chime in, blasting Peter from above with his repulser beams, but much to his surprise, Spider-Man did not even evade, instead taking those blasts. After he was done, Stark noted that they left not even a dent or a singe on his new suit, which further surprised him.
"Okay, not what I had planned." Iron Man said, before his computer analyzed the structure and function of the suit more.
"Boss, Spider-Man's new suit has absorbed the energy from your repulsers and used it as a reinforcing field around it's own atomic structure. The suit itself is comprised of a metal previously not encountered, but sharing many properties with Adamantium." Stark's eyes widened at the mention of that metal. "Atomic and molecular analysis confirm that it is some form of an Adamantium, but lacking certain properties, such as metallic poisoning elements and complete rigidity, despite being solid." As much as Stark hated to admit it, he was quite impressed at that one, but that very moment, Peter shot his web at him and pulled Iron Man down to him, forcing him to land.
"Hate to admit it, but it is half a decent suit you are wearing, but are you sure you are okay turning into modern art piece, once all that Adamantium solidifies around you?" Stark joked, before trying to punch Peter, but he easily evaded, catching his arm and crushing his gauntlet with his bare hand. "Argh! How the… I've modified my armor to be able to keep up with you."
"Maybe you could catch the old me, Stark, but I've gotten a boost in powers, and now in tech." At that moment, Peter raised his hand, and sent an energy blast straight at Tony, sending him flying back.
"Armor integrity-86%." Friday reported to Tony, as he rose flew up again and tried to blast Peter with his rockets, but Parker easily evaded them all, before jumping at Stark and then literally producing claws on the tips of his fingers and slashing at Tony. "Armor integrity-81%. Internal circuitry compromised, rerouting to redundant nodes." Then Tony decided to shake off Peter off him, through fast paced flying, but it proved impossible, as Peter continued to slash and punch Stark, and then they slammed into Tony's mansion through the roof, flying several stories down and ending up in the garage, with Parker seemingly sustaining no damage.
"Okay, I'll admit that it is not such a bad armor. Care to share who's the author?" Tony asked in his usual tone, as he finally shook Peter off of him.
"Like you do not know." Peter answered, as the two moved in a circular motion. "I may not have any Nobel Prizes or all the ., but I know a thing or two about science, and I was and always am willing to learn more. Hanging around you, Pym, Richards, T'Challa and all the others has been quite educational in many areas."
"Ah, and this I assume is what you've learned from me? You, if you wanted a new Iron Spider Armor, you could've always just ask for one." Tony joked back.
"You could never get my sizes right, and I do not particularly enjoy being a lab experiment." Peter bit back, recalling when he learned the truth about Iron Spider Armor. "And after our last encounter, I've decided it would be prudent to make something to even the odds against you, because if there's one thing I've learned about you, Tony, is that you like to devise ways of defeating everyone, friend or foe. Hence why I decided to make a back-up, in case I ever had to fight you, right after I've gotten Alchemax."
"Really? Well, I'll say that you've knocked it out the park, despite how barebones it kinda looks to me." Tony commented, trying to find out more from Peter.
"It is still early development, but enough to give me an edge even against you, Tony." Peter commented, as they continued to circle one another. "Besides, we both know that you've already drew up plans against me, hence those sound emitters."
"Yeah, you've pegged me right, but you also forgot one key point about me, Peter." Tony said, before he suddenly exited his damaged armor and simply hopped into one a new one. "I like to have more than one suit ready for such things." And that very moment, Tony flew out of his basement, and Peter sensed how all around him activated Iron Man Armors, immediately surrounding him and attacking him that moment all together.
"You are putting up a valiant effort, young lady, but for one who has such powers over Space and Time, you are missing the fact that your defeat is still inevitable." Doctor Strange said, casting a multitude of spells, with Arachne displacing them in such way as to have them strike Strange, forcing him to cancel all of them.
"For a man of your intelligence, you are missing the fact that the more you people decide to make things better, the worse they actually become." Arachne stated to Strange, as the two stared at each other. "How many times have your interventions and preemptive strikes cost Earth? Shall I recite the sum total of bad things you Illuminati have caused?" Arachne then used her power to immediately close up the distance between her and Strange, only for a barrier spell to lit up and send Arachne back.
Not wasting the chance or opportunity, Arachne reversed the direction and then shortened the distance between her and Strange, delivering a devastating double kick in his face, breaking his nose and jaw. The moment she jumped away, she saw that his healing magic was still keeping him in play, so she understood that she needed to remove him in a more permanent basis, but without killing, for she had her own orders from Gaea. Slowing down time for a small fraction, Arachne saw that to cast his healing magic, he still needed to voice his spell, so she extended the slow down for Strange, and went to town on him. Empowering her strikes with spatial blasts upon impact and not holding back on him, Arachne delivered a veritable beat down on him, while his body was frozen in place in rapid succession.
Head, torso, arms, legs and all in between- all of it became the target for Arachne's fury, as her fists and kicks found her marks, and by the time she was done, she simply snapped her fingers, letting time run again for Strange. The moment it happened, all of the delayed spatial blasts went off on Strange and sent his broken, bleeding and beaten carcass into the closest tree, slamming past that and another one behind it. After his flight stopped, Arachne saw that this time he was staying down for good, and that no fortifying spell was there to save him from one of her favored types of beat downs.
"I'd give you the receipt, Doctor, but I'm out of paper and a pen." Arachne said to him, before turning away, moving away, before noticing the one Illuminati that has been arguably the least helpful to his compatriots. "Enjoying the show, Professor?"
"Tell me, young lady, what harm will your actions cause, by depriving us of the ability to defend Earth from all those threats that lurk out there?" Charles Xavier, laying on the ground and completely useless in this fight, asked of Arachne, who turned her gaze to him. "And what of all the other timelines, dimensions and other places? How do you expect us to protect Earth and all who inhabit it from the threats that wait for just the right moment to strike?"
"Or for you to force everyone to relinquish the Stones to you, so you use them to create a supposed human-mutant utopia of your own design." Arachne stated, seemingly reading Charles' deepest thoughts. "I don't need telepathy to know what you are thinking, Xavier, because somewhere in the multiverse, another you has already done it, and I saw what came after it. Your "utopia" became a tyranny, a totalitarian regime which oppressed everyone who disagreed with it, and those who wanted freedom flocked to the man who dared defy you all those years- Magneto. Ironic, isn't it?" But in that very moment Arachne's Spider-Sense flared up, but before she was able to move, Namor finally reached her, grabbing her from behind by her scalp, and preparing to crush it, as he held her up above the ground.
"I give you one last chance, witch: produce the Stones and Gauntlet to me, or I will pop your head like a balloon." Namor threatened, tightening his grip on Arachne's head, threatening to break her skull. "You have one minute to give them to me…" At that moment, the ground suddenly shook from the powerful explosion in the distance, while Iron Man landed before them in the new suit.
"Stop it, Namor. We need her… alive?!" Tony Stark screamed literally the moment he found himself outside of his suit and in the very grip of Namor, while Arachne appeared perfectly alight next to his now empty suit. "You know, with a trick like that, you would be the top star in Vegas." Tony commented, with Arachne silent as she snapped her fingers, and the Iron Man Armor turned literally into a pinball sized sphere, before it dropped down, while Namor tossed Tony aside like nothing.
"I've had enough of your games, wretched witch!" Namor prepared to attack, but then he felt someone put his head in the lock, someone powerful enough to restrict his movements. "What in the…" And then he was forcefully turned to face the one who restricted him, before receiving a head butt, breaking Namor's nose.
"Next time, Stark, make sure your suits have a higher energy absorption capacity." Spider-Man stated to Tony, looking completely fine in his Adamantium liquid suit, before he turned to face Namor. "Now then, ready for round two, Your Lowliness?" Peter cracked his neck, ready for the fight.
"I've… Had… ENOUGH!" Namor cried out in fury and pain, as he threw himself straight at Spider-Man, who caught his fists and stopped him from moving. "How?! How can a low life like you be able to stand to me?! I've beaten The Hulk, you maggot, how can you withstand me?! You are nothing more than bug when compared to me!" Namor shouted in desperation, as Peter held his ground with all of his strength, matching Namor in every aspect.
"Wrong – I am a Spider!" Peter retorted, before delivering a powerful kick into his chest and taking the initiative.
Giving Namor no chance to retaliate or move, Spider-Man's suit suddenly shifted and created on each of his hand three claws in classic Wolverine style, before swiping them at Namor, piercing his hard skin and stomach. Then he sunk those claws into his knees, forcing him to fall, before finally moving behind him, claws retreating back, and grabbing Sub-Mariner's head in a lock, with him attempting to stop him. Spider-Man knew that Namor, despite all of his faults, was one of the greater heroes on Earth, at least when he was not out to kill everyone who annoyed him, but he was also a mercurial, amoral and utterly devoid of reason at times, guided by his own pride, ambition and desires. But all of that did not matter to Peter, as there was no internal debate as to what to do, as with a roar he snapped Namor's neck, breaking it, much to the shock of those that saw it, save for Arachne. The lifeless body of the King of Atlantis was finally released, and allowed to fall onto the dirt, with Tony Stark and Charles Xavier looking in complete shock, as their arguably most powerful in physical way member, just fell dead at the hands of Peter.
"You… You just killed him." Tony said with utter shock, looking at Peter, who turned to look back at him, his face obscured by armor. "You could've knocked him out, Peter! He wasn't a villain like Fisk or Silvermane! He was one of us, and you just ended him! Just like that!"
"Yeah, Namor wasn't like Fisk or Silvermane, true, and I won't make any justifications to his death. Because all the reason I needed to do it, was him threatening to kill my daughter, and knowing him, those were no empty threats." Peter stated to Tony. "Remember how many times he flooded Europe, Asia or Americas, and every time he warned us about it, just because he could? And how many times we've let him go? Well, no more of that, and if Atlanteans have a problem with that, they'll have to take it up with me."
"You would honestly fight the whole damn race, just because of her?" Tony asked of Peter.
"Fight? No." Peter suddenly answered, before adding. "Destroy? Yes." He ended, as he turned away from Tony and walked to Arachne, intending to inquire as to her health.
"Give me a few more minutes and I think I'll be able to get us out of here for good." Arachne assured Peter, who nodded to her, before he walked to Tony Stark and picked him up with a definitely not too friendly intention.
"You captured and tortured my daughter, nearly killed her, Stark. How many times is it that you've hurt me and my family?" Peter asked of him rhetorically, with Stark not answering that. "Give me a single reason to not split your damn head open for all you did to us today?"
"D-daddy?" That tiny frightened voice was one that belonged to Felicity, but one of this time, and it immediately forced both Peter and Arachne to turn to it's source, and see the little girl standing completely still before them... with Mister Fantastic's arm wrapped around like a whip around her neck, ready to close in at a moment's notice. "D-daddy, I-I am scared…"
"Felicity…" In a single moment, all of Peter's anger was replaced with fear for his daughter, as he let go of Tony. "It will be alright, kitten. I promise you."
"Richards." Arachne practically growled out of her mouth that name, as she turned to face him. "You have sealed your fate with this." Arachne already prepared to make use of her powers, but then her Spider-Sense flared up in warning, preventing her from doing anything.
"I would withhold using your spatial displacement power, Arachne, for if she leaves my hold, you and her will die." Richards said with coldest tone, as he turned to Peter Parker. "And if either of you make any move or prepare to activate any form of power, you shall be losing your daughter, Peter. Do I make myself clear?"
"Reed, I swear to you, if even a hair falls of her head, I…" At that moment, Reed tightened up his grip on Felicity just the tiny bit, forcing her to choke. "Wait, wait!" Peter urged him to stop, with Reed relenting, letting Felicity breathe a little.
"You will produce the Infinity Stones and the Gauntlet, Arachne, now." Reed demanded of Arachne. "Do it, and I will let her go. You have my word."
"Daddy, what is going on?" Little Felicity asked of Peter, with Richards decided to answer.
"You, or rather your future version, has been a very bad girl, Felicity, and your father does not want to discipline you, so it falls to me to correct this lapse of behavior." Richards said, his arm still lock around little girl's throat, as he turned to Peter. "But this runs in the family, does it not, Peter? Taking the most chaotic and destructive path instead of one of logic and cooperation."
"Felicity, I promise you, it will all be okay." Peter assured his daughter, before he turned to Arachne. "Arachne… I cannot lose you." Peter's tone was clearest of desperation.
"I know, and you will not." Arachne assured him, before she turned to face Reed Richards. "Reed Richards, I give you one warning: release her this instant, or prepare to suffer."
"You are in no position to threaten me. My scanners track every move you make, every fluctuation of your vitals and energies, and feed it directly to my brain. The moment I even sense you try to use your power I…" And in that very second, the very walls of the pocket dimension suddenly shook and cracked, forcing Richards to look up. "What… What is going on? You could not have done this!"
"And who says I did?" Arachne asked of him, as another shake nearly broke the boundaries of this barrier, before it finally collapsed as bolts of purest lightning began to strike all around, distracting Richards long enough for Peter and Arachne to make their move.
Using her authority over time and space, Arachne slowed the time for all of the world, safe for herself and her father, allowing Peter to move and act as if he was far, far faster. Wasting not a time after getting the nod from Arachne, he blitzed to Richards, before a blade formed on Peter's hand out of the particles of his suit. Closing the distance without Richards even fully realizing what had happened, Peter severed the arm off Richards, taking his daughter into his hands and moving back to Arachne. At that same moment, Arachne made one more use of her powers, as she displaced the nanites out of Felicity's system. The moment time began to move again, Peter had already untangled his little girl while ensuring she did not see Reed Richards cry out of pain, as his severed bleeding arm now laid on the ground, as lightning struck around.
"STARK!" Thor's booming voice was heard by all present, as he descended down onto the ground, followed Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, Jean Grey, Madelyne Pryor, and all the rest of Peter's heroic family. "You dare conspire against my blood, imprison and torture my niece and defy the will of my Mother?! Friend or no friend, but for that, I shall have words and your blood, yours and your conspirators!" Thor proclaimed, as they landed around Peter, Felicity and Arachne, with Felicia immediately moving her daughter.
"Felicity!" Felicia cried out as she clutched her daughter close to her. "How… What…"
"I'm fine, Mommy. Daddy and another Spider-Woman saved me from bad stretchy man." Felicity chirped immediately, with the rest of the Spider family looking at it all, before turning their gaze at Arachne, with Felicia being the first one.
"Um… Hi, everyone." Arachne said with a bit of awkwardness.
"Yup, that's Pete's daughter, alright." Kaine commented with a huff, before looking at Peter. "Is that your new super-secret project you were working on all this time? A chromed-up Spider Suit? Speaking of your suit, where's Venom?"
"Somewhere where Strange sent him, and this is Spider-Armor Mk. 4, thank you very much." Peter responded, before turning to Felicia and Arachne eyeing each other. "Felicia, Felicity is safe… Both of them."
"Yeah, I'll say… Are those Namor and Black Bolt, all dead on the ground?" Scarlet Spider asked, as he pointed at the barely living Inhuman King, and dead King of Atlantis.
"Bolt should still be alive, but won't be talking anytime soon for certain." Peter said, before he turned to the rest of the arrivals. "How did you even find this place?"
"Thor filled us in on the way here. Said he had a vision or something of what had happened, and came straight to the mansion to get us. We tried to get in here as fast as we could… But looks like you and your space-time hopping kid have it all under control" Carol told Peter, who knew that these three were in the Hardy Mansion today, before she took a look at little Felicity. "How did Felicity end up here?"
"Richards." Peter's tone was enough for them to understand, as they turned to the one-armed Reed Richards, who had used his stretching abilities to stop the bleeding, with Felicity eying him with absolute fury, before starting to move towards him. "Licia…" Peter tried to stop her, but she just turned to him with an absolutely murderous look in her eyes.
"Don't, Peter. That… That thing kidnapped our daughter, and tortured her here. I do not care for his reason or justification, I will have his…" Felicia was about to go on a rant, but Peter gently stopped her.
"And I would not stop you, Licia, but not like this… Not in front of Felicity." Peter asked of her, with Felicia finally calming down a little.
"Yeah, trust me Mom, I do not need a childhood trauma involving you turning Reed Richards into… I don't think they've yet invented words for what you were going to do him." Arachne commented, with Felicia actually chuckling at that.
"Guess the humor runs strong in this family." Jessica commented, defusing situation.
"Trust me, I'm not even the worst one of the bunch." Arachne commented, with the Spiders finally calming down fully.
"Thor, I swear to you, this is not how it looks like. Let me just explain…" Tony tried to speak up, but the moment Thor grabbed him by his throat was enough for him to shut up.
"Nay, mortal, you shall keep quiet and listen to me! You and your conspirators' plot is known to me fully, and sole thing that stays my hammer from your skull is the plea from Steven Rogers." Thor stated to Tony. "To gather the Infinity Stones and harbor them is the peak of your hubris, mortal. Even Odin himself would never dare to tempt fate with them, but you've believe it wise to gather them all on one world? Have thee forgotten of Thanos and his ongoing mad quest?!" And as Thor had busied himself with Tony Stark, the attention of others was diverted by Charles Xavier.
"M-Madelyne Pryor?" Charles asked in purest shock, as he saw the clone of Jean standing near her original, with both turning to face him.
"Ah, Professor, so good of you to finally notice me, and for you to assume the position most befitting of your deeds and hypocrisy." Madelyne stated with no small amount of malice in her voice, while Jean did not give any comment on her part for the moment. "What was it that you've said so long ago? Ah yes, the mission and good of all mutants comes before my petty requests? Truly, a desperate wife and mother-to-be asking your help with her husband is nothing when compared to the fate of your dream."
"Jean, I do not know, what she had told you, but I assure, all I did was for the good of all." Professor said, but when he sensed that it was not going to have any effect, he decided to resort other tactics, but in the next second he learned how foolish it was. "ARGH!"
"For once, Charles, keep your mind to yourself, Charles." Jean told him, as she and Madelyne protected all from Charles' telepathy. "You will have the time to explain yourself."
"You and everyone in here, 'cause Nick Fury's got a whole lot of questions for you all, like why Reed Richard's teleporter suddenly teleported a 5-year old girl in the middle of nowhere." Kaine said while cracking his knuckles. "And I'm gonna enjoy beating those answers out of your stinking mugs far more than Geneva Convention allows."
"Yeah, so before Kaine gets all murdery, let's get little kitten here back to her mommy, before…" Before Ben could finish it, all of the Spiders on this isle suddenly had their Spider-Sense flare up to astronomical proportions. "Oh no… Wh-what was that?"
"My head nearly split in two from that!" Kaine said, as he and others suddenly noticed how it started to become dark. "What's going on?" Kaine asked, before noticing Peter, along with Avengers and X-Men look up, and see the very reason that was causing it.
The very fabric of reality seemed to be twisting and turning, as tendrils of darkness creeped out and onto the world, warping it around, with even the light seemingly being absorbed by it. And at the center of it all was the golden caped hero, or at least he appeared to be one, but those who faced and knew him, understood all too well that this was no hero. It was a nightmare, a plague that could devastate all of existence everywhere, and his very presence seemed to corrode the fabric of reality, with Arachne groaning from pain, as she literally felt him tear the universe around them to his liking, with Peter moving to support her.
"H-he's twisting this reality to his liking… H-he's completely unhinged, uninhibited by anything." Arachne said to Peter, as she looked at him. "You do not stand a chance."
"Guys, please tell me this is a nightmare or something, because… That can't be The Sentry." Carol said in tone clearly laced with fear, as the memories of their past encounter came to all who fought against him. "How… How the hell is he still alive? We've defeated him, Reed, he… No, don't tell me…" Carol and others realized what actually had happened all those years ago.
"Reed, don't tell me you've let him out of his dimension." Tony pleaded to him.
"N-no I did not." Reed said, as he turned to look at the Sentry, still hovering above the ground, as the world seemed to warp all around him. "Bob, what are you doing here? You are supposed to stay home, your therapy…"
"I came to help you, Reed." Robert finally spoke up with an eerily serene tone, but one that all heroes knew was not good news for them all. "You said that after you've taken care of the little girl, you would bring Lindy to me, so I came here to help you." Reed's face paled faster than it did before after blood loss, as he realized what was happening.
"H-he's not himself, the Void must've influenced him again." Reed stated, with other understanding what is happening, before a cry from the child Felicity drew their entire attention.
"D-daddy, i-it hurts! I-it hurts s-so much!" Felicity said through the searing pain, with Peter helpless to do anything to stop whatever it was that hurt his little daughter. "He… He is h-hurting e-everything…" Felicity pointed at the Sentry, with Arachne finally explaining.
"Her powers are manifesting, a-and she senses that monster's power tear this reality apart with his malignant presence." Arachne stated, as she stood up and summoned all of the powers and strength she had. "We need to stop the Void, because if we don't he'll tear our reality like he did his own." It was at that moment that The Sentry, or the Void, finally turned and saw Arachne and her entourage, including Spider-Man, though in his new costume.
"I remember you. Spider-Man… You tricked Robert, said you wanted to help him, get him to Lindy, but instead you led him to a trap, which almost killed us, if not for Reed." The Void's voice was hollow and dreadful, as it came from The Sentry's body, as he let out a smile, while Peter put himself in front of his daughters. "We heard you made bad thing to Reed too, hurt him, and that your daughter stole something valuable from him. You were a very poor friend to Reed, and we'll punish you for it." And in that very moment, The Void's form blitzed at unfathomable speed towards Peter Parker.
Thor and Captain Marvel moved the first to stop him, but were just a bit too slow to get to him, while Jean Grey and Madelyne Pryor put up every possible psychic defense around Peter, but the Void went through them like hot knife through butter. Scarlet Witch tried to erase him from this very universe, but found herself only destroying tendrils of his malign presence, instead of the source, yet still closing distance with Peter, as the time slowed to a crawl, thanks to Arachne. Yet the threat was coming and it was inevitable, as Arachne had only managed to buy them a mere moment before her control faded, and just as Void's hands grasped Peter, all seemed over… Until a blinding light completely enveloped the island.
Different place. One moment later.
One moment, Peter was preparing meet his end at the hands of one of his worst nightmares in entire career, and the next, he suddenly found himself falling through air in night time, with the city and the ground closing at an alarming speed. Without even processing or thinking, Peter did the first thing he could and latched onto the closest tallest building that he could reach, which just happened to be the Chrysler Building, and he ended up attaching himself to its wall, finally stopping his fall and letting him catch his breath and collect his thoughts.
He did not know what exactly had happened on that island, but he had a feeling that it was the work of Arachne, who probably transported him out of harm's way… Only this was not the same New York that Peter called home. Even though the heavy downpour that was going and the night, it took Peter but a mere moment and a few glances to understand, that this was not New York, not one of his universe, as his very Spider-Sense told him through its spatial awareness. It was one of the features of it that Peter never shared with anyone, the ability to literally sense when he was in a different Universe than his own, discovered long ago in one of his misadventures before he even joined the Avengers. And this… This was definitely another one of those cases.
"Where did you send me, Felicity?" Peter asked of himself, as he looked at the nighttime New York. "That's definitely New York, but it's… Not like mine. Some places are missing and… What the heck is that out in the bay?" Peter said to himself, as he zoomed in on the massive island and building floating out in the bay.
"Triskelion, here in New York Bay? Okay, this is definitely a parallel universe." Peter let out a sigh, shaking his head, as the thunder and lighting struck around, with Peter taking notice of it. "Better get closer to the ground level, though I'm pretty sure that this suit can tank even a lightning bolt… but I'd rather not test it, especially since it's still in prototype phase." And with this, Peter finally jumped off the top of Chrysler and descended down closer to the normal rooftops, before shooting his web and swinging through the city, taking it in.
Swinging through the city, Spider-Man could clearly see that it was nothing like his own New York, as it indeed looked like an older one, with cars being from earlier time and such things. People were not in their phones all the time, and those phones he did see were the kind that were used in the early years of 2000nds, back when Peter was still a kid with parents. For a moment he wondered if there was Peter Parker in this universe, but he decided not to ponder too much on it and instead focus on the problem at hand. He was in a different universe, with no knowledge of what had happened on the island, but he could sense that all of them were alright, at least his family, yet this did not mean he could stop worrying. He needed to find a way back to it, and that meant that he would need to someone who had expertise in trans-dimensional travels, aka. Fantastic Four and Reed Richards of this universe, if they existed.
Understanding that without even the most basic information he would not be able to get anything done, Peter decides that for the moment it would do good for him to get at least a rough idea of the state of this world and it's time. And just as he thinks of the ways as to how acquire information, his Spider-Sense suddenly flares up, warning that something big, mean and very dangerous was right up ahead the way he travelling, and that in single second he was about to reach it. Once Peter did reach it, his eyes widened, as a familiar not-so-jolly and not-so-green giant appeared in his eyes, tearing his way through the road, literally ripping to shreds road, buildings, cars and people, much to Peter's shock.
The Hulk of his world was dangerous, true, but for all of his monstrous appearance and power, he had a moral compass which was set in a good direction. He smashed and crushed buildings and property, yes, but people… They were taboo for the Big Green, and Peter knew that Hulk, deep down, was good person. This… monstrosity that he now saw literally crushing people into bloody paste was nothing like The Hulk of Peter's world, and the one that General Thunderbolt Ross would be justified in hunting down.
"BETTY! GET BACK TO BANNER, BETTY!" The Hulk cried out, as he grabbed a person and prepared to literally chomp on him, with Peter seeing it. "YOU CAN'T ESCAPE FROM ME, BETTY! HULK IS HORNY FOR BETTY, AND HE WILL SMASH YOU!" While some would said that this was not Peter's fight or even the world, but even if this was not his universe, that did not mean that Spider-Man's work was limited to his own universe, as he immediately dived down and struck The Hulk in the back of his head, catching the pedestrian that was nearly eaten and setting it down on the ground.
"It's gonna be okay, now get out of here, now!" Spider-Man ordered, as that girl and everyone else around them ran for their lives, while The Hulk finally focused his attention on Spider-Man. "Hey, big guy! Did nobody ever tell you that eating people is bad for your health? You'll get some bad tummy aches from it." And then Peter shuddered involuntarily, as Hulk literally smiled at him with a predatory grin.
"SILVER MAN HIT HARD, BUT YOU ONLY MAKE HULK MORE HORNY FOR BETTY!" The Hulk responded to Peter, who again had to suppress a shudder from his words. "SILVER MAN SMELLS LIKE CANNED FOOD. HULK WILL OPEN YOUR SKULL AND EAT YOU LIKE PEACHES!" Hulk tried to crush Spider-Man with his two fists slamming down, but Peter evaded it, jumping away.
"Great, this Hulk is not only a rapist, but also a cannibal…" Peter commented, as he took stock of the situation. "Can't fight him right here, too many innocent people… Oh, so you wanna get a bite? Well come and get some, grey goliath." Spider-Man goaded him, before he rushed straight at Hulk, who tried to catch Spider-Man, but the Adamantium clad hero managed to slip between Hulk's legs, while averting his eyes from Hulk's naked evidence of his… excitement.
Once right behind him, Spider-Man gathered up his energy, before slamming right into The Hulk with all of his strength and power, propelling himself via a discharge from his legs, and sending the two of them flying through the air akin to a bullet. The mad mutate writhed and screamed, even as they slammed through the tops of the buildings, but Spider-Man did not let him go, until they were near their destination. Counting for the power, direction, wind, rain and etc., Spider-Man managed to calculate exactly how much he needed to cover the distance and what time it would take for them to reach the final point, and when it was time, he finally kicked Hulk off him. The cursing giant slammed right into one of the lakes of the Central Park, with Peter landing on his feet near. Very next moment, and The Hulk reappeared, jumping out of the lake and landing near Spider-Man, roaring and screaming at him with pain.
"YOU HURT HULK! NOW HULK SMASH YOU AND THEN HULK WILL FUCK YOUR CORPSE!" The Hulk screamed at Spider-Man, who did not even seem at all scared at him.
Deciding that holding back against him would yield no results at all, Spider-Man did not even consider it, as he went on the offensive, using his advantage in agility and speed. Jumping right into the air and then zipping to Hulk via his web, he immediately landed a diving kick into Hulk's face, evading his massive hands, before slamming both of his fists on his back, making the grey cannibal stumble. Screaming from pain and unable to reach Spider-Man, Hulk simply jumped on his back, hoping to crush Spider-Man with his weight, with the Central Park's landscape cracking and breaking. Yet the very next moment, The Hulk was blasted by Spider-Man's energy blasts, before being literally kicked into the air, letting the arachnid Champion of Gaea get up, ready to continued.
Shooting his web at still falling Hulk, Spider-Man caught and then accelerated his fall onto the ground, slamming him down with a crashing sound. Right after that, Spider-Man moved in and began to punch the downed grey giant, drawing blood out of his mouth with every punch, before the Hulk tried to grab him again, which he evaded, but then Hulk tacked Spider-Man to the ground. It was then that he started to slam his fists onto Spider-Man with roar, intending to complete his promised to Spider-Man, with Hulk's fists smashing into the Adamantium five times, until he got up and grabbed seemingly immobile Spider-Man, bringing him to himself.
"STUPID SILVER MAN THOUGHT HE WAS STRONGER THAN HULK, BUT HULK IS THE STRONGEST AND HORNIEST THERE IS, AND NOW I…" And before he could finish his sentence, Spider-Man delivered a powerful punch right into Hulk's eye, sending a charge of his power straight into his brain with it, freeing himself from that hold and landing before the screaming in pain grey goliath.
"Sorry, pal, but I've fought someone bigger, meaner and greener, and compared to that guy, your punches fall a couple leagues short." Spider-Man said, as he charged up his punches, clearly seeing how his bio-electricity severely hurt this Hulk. "Let me show what a proper "Hulk Smash" is." And then Spider-Man went to town on this Hulk, as he uppercut him in the throat, before delivering an axe kick to his head, followed by a combo to his chest and torso of five strikes.
The Hulk spewed blood and bile on the ground, but Spider-Man was not done, as he grabbed Hulk's head and then channeled an extremely powerful charge into Hulk, forcing him to cry in agony and lit up like a Christmas tree. Keeping it up for a few seconds, Spider-Man finally let him go, as the giant finally fell down and was fully knocked out, before starting to revert into his human form of Bruce Banner. Letting out a sigh of relief, Spider-Man took a second to collect his breath, before he was put straight into the center of projector light and surrounded by SHIELD's ground and air vehicles, and then he heard a voice over the loud speaker.
"Attention, Terminator-wannabe! This is General Nick Fury talking to you. You have five seconds to surrender your chrome plated ass to the SHIELD, or The Ultimates will take you down!" It took Peter all of those seconds to process what he just heard. "Time's up. Take him down, boys!" And then a giant foot slammed onto Spider-Man, stomping him into the ground.
"Ha, you may've taken out Banner, but he's a weak-ass pussy." Hank Pym, or Giant-Man of this universe, called out to Spider-Man. "Let's see if you can handle someone wearing actual man-sized trousers."
"Okay… What the hell is wrong with this world?" Spider-Man asked of himself, completely fine and holding the Giant-Man's foot over himself with barely any effort. "Is this a universe where everyone is an asshole or something?" Spider-Man asked of himself, as he readied himself for a whole new fight.
Pretty sure none of you even thought that this may happen, but this is it, and for those who did not get it… Spider-Man has just made it into Earth-1610, aka. The Ultimate Marvel Universe! This was an idea I've been toying with for a long time, ever since I've done Nephalem of X.
The Ultimate Universe was my introduction to the Comic books, and first comic book I ever bought was one of Ultimate Spider-Man, and for a long time, they were among my favorite, until I've gotten older and gained access to Internet and discovered the OG Marvel and it became my new favorite. I still return time to time to 1610, but nowadays… I find it kinda like too rich for my taste with how everyone, safe for Spider-Man, is just… awful in one way or the other. And that is putting it light, because The Hulk there is straight up cannibal and literally said he was horny for Betty in The Ultimates… And now Spider-Man, my version of it, just ended up in that universe, and kicked Hulk's ass all by his lone self. And for the record, Ultimate's Hulk is weaker than 616 Namor, who did throw hands with the OG Hulk.
Now, as for his new suit, it is based off of Superior Iron Man's Endo-Sym Armor, and is made out of a variant of Adamantium, but with utilization of nanotech and Unstable Molecules tech to allow Peter to move. Also, keep in mind that it is still an early testing version and not a finished product.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter and will leave a comment in the reviews, as well as your questions and suggestions in it. Thank you all for your support and happy holidays and Merry Christmas everyone!
Next time: Spider-Man vs. The Ultimates.
See ya!
