After another win and saving Paris, Celestria was swinging her way through Paris, but something fell from her and hit the ground. What's more is that Levy found it.
"Hey, everyone. Check this out." Levy said as she was recording on her phone. "It looks like Celestria dropped a history book, the very same history book that I use at my school! That might mean that Celestria is a student that goes to the same school as me!" Levy started a blog about Celestria and wants to know who she is. That's a problem for Lucy as she paused her video and felt like a big idiot.
"I can't believe I dropped my history book!" Lucy said. "What am I going to do? I didn't think Levy would be that devoted to uncovering my secret identity."
"That Levy sure knows what she wants and goes for it." Stella said.
"What am I going to do, Stella?" Lucy said. "I need to throw Levy off the trail. We can't let her know I'm Celestria."
"You're certainly right about that, but I think I have the solution." Stella said. "Tell Levy you might have found a lead on Celestria."
"What lead?" Lucy questioned. Stella played around on Lucy's keyboard until she brought up an article. "The Egyptian exhibit at the Louvre Museum?"
"Trust me. There's something there that will certainly help." Stella said. Lucy didn't get it, but she figured she better go along with it to prevent Levy from learning her secret.
...
Natsu
Being such a fan of Celestria, and falling head over heels for her, Natsu followed Levy's blog. Seeing the video himself, Natsu kept wondering who Celestria might be himself.
"I can't believe she has the same textbook as what's in my school." Natsu said. "What if she's one of my classmates?"
"What if meatballs are really hot dogs? What if ham is really bologna?" Igneel said as he ate some meat. "Somethings are better left as a mystery and you should just enjoy it."
"What is it with you and meat?" Natsu questioned as Igneel kept stuffing his face.
"Natsu, you're not really suppose to know who Celestria is. It's to protect yourself, your loved ones, and the miraculous." Igneel said.
"I know, but you can't stop me from wondering." Natsu said as he believes that he will find out who is under that mask one day.
...
The Louvre Museum
Lucy took Stella's advice. She invited Levy to the Louvre Museum to find a "lead" on Celestria. Lucy had no idea what she was looking for, but she trusted Stella. As for Levy herself, she couldn't stop thinking about Celestria's identity and the book could be a lead.
"Can you believe it? There's a chance Celestria might be a student at our school." Levy said.
"Levy, just because she has that book doesn't mean Celestria is a fellow student." Lucy said. "Anyone could get their hands on that book. A bunch of schools might use it."
"Not true." Levy said. "I did a little research and I learned that our school is the only one that uses that textbook. I figure whoever doesn't have their book has a higher chance of being Celestria, like a certain blonde." She gave a smug look to Lucy.
"What?" Lucy said as she tried to sound innocent.
"I'm kidding, but I'm not taking you off my list?" Levy said as she reached in her bag and pulled out the book. Lucy needs to figure out how to get it back before she realizes the truth. "No way I'm loosing this thing. By the way, what's this lead you were telling me about?"
"It's in the Egyptian exhibit." Lucy said. The two of them headed for the exhibit. It was a great sight to see as they saw treasures and valuables in the exhibit.
"This place looks cool, but where is this lead you were talking about?" Levy said. Lucy had no idea what she was looking for. She looked down at Stella who was hiding in her purse. Stella pointed over to the back. Lucy looked down and saw she was pointing to a papyrus that was hanging on the wall.
"It's over there." Lucy said as she showed Levy the papyrus.
"A papyrus?" Levy said. "Those pieces of paper hold stories and legends from age of the pharaohs. What does this have to do with Celestria?"
"Uh..." Lucy had no idea what to even look for. She didn't even know how to read that thing.
"The story on that papyrus is quite an interesting one." They both turned around and were met with a large man with curly auburn hair. "Hello. My name is Richard. I work here. Are you curious as to what the papyrus says?"
"Yes, we are." Lucy said as she was hoping this could help.
"The papyrus tells of an ancient legend." Richard said. "It holds the instructions to cast a spell. The spell is to appeal the deity of earth: Geb. By offering a sacrifice, one's desires can be granted. Many don't believe it to be true, but I believe it's quite extraordinary."
"Richard, are you still believing in fantasies?" The museum director said as he came in.
"Sir, I have deciphered most of the papyrus." Richard said. "We have almost all that is needed to make the spell happen. Look here." Richard pulled out a pearl necklace with an eye attached to it. "This necklace was a part of the spell, as well as the scepter." He pointed to the scepter that was placed on a stand in the center of the exhibit. "I've deciphered most of the spell. We could actually..." "Richard, I've heard enough!" His boss said as he did not sound happy.
"That spell is just a fantasy, a legend that you're obsessed over." The director said. "Even if it was real, it would require a sacrifice. You can't do something like that. Richard, you have a good eye for values and treasure, but your head is in the clouds. This is the last I wish to hear of this. Now put the necklace back and drop this whole thing." His boss wasn't putting up with any of this and Richard felt humiliated.
"You're right. I'm sorry. I got carried away." Richard said as he left the room. He felt humiliated, embarrassed, and saddened about what has happened. Just what a certain someone needs.
...
Black Wizard
"Who wouldn't want the chance to have all that they desired be made a reality? Nothing will stop me, and nothing should stop you." Black Wizard said. He took an etherious and filled with evil. "Flyaway, little etherious, and evillize him!"
...
Richard
Richard exited the museum and was on his way back to work. That was until the etherious flew to him and entered the necklace. Once it did, he was linked to Black Wizard.
"Hoteye, I'm Black Wizard. You certainly have an eye for power and value. As a follower of an earth deity, you shall command the earth yourself. Your desires shall be answered, but I desire to be given the miraculous of Celestria and Salamondra in return."
"You can count on it, Black Wizard. Oh yeah." Richard said as he began to transform.
...
The Exhibit
Lucy and Levy were studying the papyrus. Levy was expecting Lucy to show her what this lead was, but she's got no idea what she's even looking for. Getting bored with looking at this, Levy pulled out the history book and was about to take a look inside.
"No. I'll show you." Lucy said as she tried to keep Levy from finding anything in that book. Luckily, for Lucy at least, it had to have been put on hold.
"Oh yeah!" Hoteye said as he entered the place. They all looked and spotted him. Hoteye had flowing orange hair with a black and white shirt and red pants tucked into boots with the necklace around his neck turned brown. The weird part was that his body was more geological with sharp angles. "The spell shall be cast and will not be stopped. Oh yeah!" His eyes glowed and he somehow caused the floor to turn to mud. He unleashed it as a wave with everyone running for their lives. Lucy and Levy ended up getting separated in the chaos. Lucy managed to make it out with Levy hiding to start recording.
"I guess the secrets of the papyrus will have to wait." Lucy said as she let Stella out.
"Trust me, Lucy. There's something there, but let's deal with this first." Stella said.
"Stella, Twinkle!" Stella was pulled into her earrings with her becoming Celestria.
...
Natsu
"This is crazy, people." Levy said as she was livestreaming what was happening at the museum with Natsu watching from home. "I'm at the scene of the crime before Celestria and Salamondra. A new supervillain is attacking at the Louvre Museum!"
"I guess it's your turn to study up on your history." Igneel said.
"Too bad I can't bring my textbook for a reference." Natsu said. "Igneel, Fire Up!" Igneel was pulled into the ring with him becoming Salamondra.
...
The Museum
Hoteye went over to the scepter. He grabbed a hold of it, but Celestria's whip wrapped around his arm and got his attention.
"Didn't you read the signs? No touching." Celestria said. She tried to pull him away from the scepter, but he turned the spot she was standing on to mud with her sinking in. Celestria pulled her whip back and lassoed a pillar to pull herself out. She noticed Hoteye taking the papyrus with him as well. She knows she can't let him escape. She looked around and spotted a switch on the wall for emergencies. Knowing this is an emergency, she smashed the button and the exhibit went into lockdown with bars sealing off all exits. "Nowhere to run."
"Who said anything about running, Celestria? Oh yeah." Hoteye said as he advanced closer to her. He used his powers and turned the metal bars into mud as well. He even had control over them and had them attack her with her being pushed out of the way.
"How nice of you to open the door for me." Hoteye looked ahead and spotted Salamondra. Salamondra charged at him as he twirled his staff around. He jumped in the air and was about to strike Hoteye, but Hoteye moved to the side. He grabbed Salamondra's staff and threw him out of the way. Hoteye continued moving as he took the stuff with him.
"You're seeing it here live. The newest supervillain is robbing the museum and giving Celestria and Salamondra a hard time." Levy said with Hoteye spotting her. He walked over to her and she noticed he was shadowing her.
"You might be what I'm looking for. Oh yeah." Hoteye said as he grabbed a hold of her and lifted her on his shoulder. Celestria spotted this and hurried to save her.
"Put her down!" Celestria called.
"Hiding behind innocent bystanders? You're weak." Salamondra said as they both stood ready to fight him.
"Not weak. I have other uses for this girl. Oh yeah." Hoteye said. He restored the metal bars to how they were and trapped the both of them inside. With that done, he carried Levy and the stolen items away.
"Don't worry, bloggers. I'm still livestreaming." Levy said as she pointed her phone to tell them to follow her blog to know where she was.
"What do you think she wants with her?" Salamondra questioned.
"I don't know and I don't think I want to know." Celestria said. "We've got to to get pass these bars."
"I got it." Salamondra said as he stepped forward. "Dragon Fire!" He used his powers against the bars and turned them to ashes. "There you go, my little star, but how are we going to find them?"
"Easy. Levy says she's livestreaming." Celestria said as a holographic computer screen emerged out of her whip and she had it set to Levy's blog. "This should tell us where they're going."
"Smart." Salamondra said, but he heard the beeping from his ring and only had minutes before he changed back. "I've got to recharge my batteries. I'll catch up when I can. Don't miss me too much, my little star." He charmed as he ran off in a different direction. Brushing Salamondra's humor aside, Celestria focused on rescuing Levy.
"Hang on, Levy." Celestria said as she hoped her best friend is still safe. She ran out of there, but she did spot Levy's bag. She hurried and grabbed the book for extra measure.
...
Outside
Hoteye carried Levy all the way outside the museum. He looked around and seemed most satisfied with the place.
"This will do." Hoteye said. He used his powers and mend and warped the mud. He solidified it with it becoming a shrine-like stand. He placed the scepter right in the hole and placed the papyrus down. He continued using his power as he wrote Egyptian letters in the ground.
"Excuse me, but what exactly are you doing?" Levy asked.
"I'm going to perform a spell." Hoteye said.
"The same one to call upon the earth deity that's in the papyrus, right?" Levy asked. "You would get all that you desire by doing this. What would that be exactly?"
"What else? Money! Power! Oh yeah!" Hoteye said.
"Pretty greedy, but don't you need a sacrifice to do that?" Levy asked.
"Yes. A pure human soul." Hoteye said.
"Good luck trying to find one of those." Levy said.
"I already have. You look just like the one being sacrificed." Hoteye said. He showed the lady being sacrificed on the papyrus and she did look a lot like Levy.
"Say what?!" Levy said as she couldn't believe it.
"That's why I brought you. You're the sacrifice." Hoteye said. This wasn't going to go well for Levy at all.
"Celestria, if you're watching this, I'm about to be sacrificed. Please hurry." Levy said in her phone.
...
Celestria
"Hang on, Levy. I'm almost there." Celestria said as she hurried through the museum, but she didn't watch where she was going. By the time she got to the main lobby, she fell into the floor. "Oh no! Not more mud!" It was getting worse as she was beginning to sink slowly into the mud. Levy's about to be sacrificed and Celestria's stuck in the mud.
...
Natsu
"Do you think there's any truth to this little ritual of his?" Igneel said as Natsu was waiting for him to finish eating. "If it was me, I ask for an infinite amount of meat."
"You're a glutton, you know that?" Natsu said. "You're batteries have got to be charged. Igneel, Fire Up!" Natsu became Salamondra again and hurried to get back in the fight.
...
Celestria
Celestria continued to try and reach Levy, but the mud was making it difficult. She was struggling until Salamondra showed up on higher ground.
"Grab on." Salamondra said as he lowered his staff down. Celestria grabbed on and the staff retracted back and pulled her out.
"Thanks, Salamondra." Celestria said.
"Well, I wouldn't want the light of my life to get all dirty." Salamondra said.
"Stop fooling around. We've got to hurry." Celestria said as they hurried to find another way out of the museum.
...
Levy
"There. That should do it." Hoteye said as he finished putting in the lettering. Levy knew her being sacrificed was coming. She looked around and tried to figure out what to do until she spotted a figure in the papyrus writing with stars around her.
"Hold on a second. Who is that woman with all the stars around her in the papyrus?" Levy asked as she pointed to her.
"A warrior from five-thousand years ago who tempted to stop the spell." Hoteye said. "She had the power of the stars to help her. I say that was who we know now as Celestria."
"Did you say Celestria from...five-thousand years ago?" Levy questioned as she couldn't believe it. As for Celestria and Salamondra, they're up on the roof and heard it through Levy's blog.
"History does have a way of repeating itself." Celestria said as she and Salamondra were still watching and she couldn't believe it herself.
"Well, you don't look a day over a thousand." Salamondra said.
"Now you know why I'm so much smarter than you." Celestria mocked.
"The time has now come. The sunlight is about to be perfectly aligned. Oh yeah!" Hoteye said. The sunlight intensely reflected off the scepter and hit the pyramid. The pyramid launched a ray of light and a sphere of darkness was forming in the sky. "Oh great Geb, I beseech thee! Please accept this sacrifice and grant me all my desires!"
"No thank you." Levy said as she tried to escape, but Hoteye held a firmed grip on her arm. She was about to be sacrificed until Celestria swung in and snatched Levy out of there. Hoteye was about to do something until he saw Salamondra jumping in and tried fighting him off. Celestria swung over to the side and made sure Levy was safe. "Awesome! I can't believed I was saved by Celestria!"
"Uh... Thanks, but it's not over yet." Celestria said.
"Not until you break the pearl necklace, capture the etherious, and restore everything." Levy said. "I pay attention."
"The necklace! Of course!" Celestria said. While they were talking, Salamondra continued to fight off Hoteye. He was about to attack again, but Hoteye caused mud to erupt like a geyser under him and tossed Salamondra in the air. Hoteye looked to the side and spotted the girls. He used his powers and caused the girls to slide over to him.
"You can't stop me! Oh yeah!" Hoteye claimed.
"Oh yeah?!" Celestria said as she tossed her whip and got it around him. She thought he had him, but caused the ground to swirl from under her and caused her to be trapped. Levy was about to make a run for it, but Hoteye used his powers again to cause earth to wrap around her waist.
"Time for the sacrifice." Hoteye said as he caused it to rise and move like a twister with Levy being moved closer to the sphere of darkness. Salamondra hurried to Celestria and pulled her out of the ground.
"We've got to get his necklace!" Celestria said. They both had to move fast to save her, but Hoteye stood in the way.
"You will not stop greatness. Oh yeah!" Hoteye said as he created a wave of mud and pushed them back. "May Geb be satisfied!" He called as Levy moved closer to the sphere.
"Celestria, help!" Levy called. There was only one hope left.
"Open the Celestial Gate!" Celestria called for her power and formed two earrings. "Gemini earrings? I already have a pair."
"Whatever you do, better do it fast." Salamondra said. Celestria looked around to find the answer. She saw the earrings and it soon came to her. Levy was about to be sacrificed and it seemed like nothing can save her.
"This sacrifice isn't good enough for Geb." Celestria said.
"Hey!" Levy said as she felt offended.
"Take me instead. Wouldn't I be a better sacrifice for a great and powerful being?" Celestria offered.
"It's true. You are better fit. Oh yeah." Hoteye said.
"Be sure to take her miraculous, but be careful." Black Wizard warned. Hoteye held out his hand and Celestria took it. Hoteye moved the earth and brought them up to Levy as he removed her and put Celestria in her place. He just tossed Levy aside as she slid down the pyramid.
"Excuse me, but I think I make a great sacrifice for a deity." Levy said.
"Before you disappear, give me your miraculous." Hoteye said as he held out his hand.
"You win, Hoteye." Celestria said as she made it look like she removed her earrings. "Just go get them!" She tossed the earrings as hard as she could with Hoteye going after them. Celestria was much stronger than Levy and was able to get out. Hoteye grabbed the earrings, but he noticed they were fakes.
"I've been tricked!" Hoteye said. Salamondra moved fast as he got a hold of the necklace and tossed it over to Celestria. Celestria pulled the necklace apart with the etherious flying out.
"No more evildoing for you, little etherious." Celestria traced the edge of her whip and began to twirl it around. "Time to de-evillize!" She tossed her whip with the etherious being caught and pulled in with it getting trapped in a ball of light. "Gotcha!" Once she caught it, she released it. "Bye-bye, little guy." Once she freed it, she took the earrings for one last touch. "Miraculous Starlight!" She tossed the earrings in the air and they turned into streams of stars that restored everything with Hoteye becoming Richard again.
"Pound it." The heroes said as they bumped fists.
"Incredible! I can't believe I was here to film all of it!" Levy said.
"I'm just glad you're safe." Celestria said as she walked away.
"Wait, Celestria. How old are you?" Levy asked.
"You should never ask a lady her age." Celestria said as she swung off.
"Don't you want to know how old I am?" Salamondra asked.
"I think I have an idea with your immaturity." Levy mocked and laughed. Once everything was normal, Levy went back inside and found Lucy. "Where have you been?!" She asked as she was happy to see her as the two friends hugged.
"I'm so sorry. I lost you in the crowd when that all happened. Are you okay?" Lucy asked.
"Better than okay. Your lead was great. I learned Celestria is over five-thousand years old! She must be immortal or something!" Levy said.
"See?" Lucy said as she started walking.
"I do wonder what she was doing with that history book." Levy said as she grabbed her bag, but noticed the book was gone. "Wait. Where'd it go?" Looks like Lucy was able to keep her identity a secret this time.
...
Lucy
As Lucy was getting ready for bed, she was rather curious. How could there be a picture of her in the Egyptian papyrus.
"I don't get it. I'm not over five-thousand, but how can that be me in there?" Lucy questioned.
"You're not the first person to wield the miraculous, Lucy." Stella said. "There've been many others before you."
"You probably know a lot better Celestria's than me." Lucy said.
"Don't sell yourself short." Stella said. "You're just as brave, compassionate, and so much more than any miraculous holder. You follow your heart and your heart leads the way. I know you'll be one of the best."
"And you're one of my best friends." Lucy said. The miraculous might have been around for a long time, but Lucy is going to do her best to uphold the legacy like any other miraculous holder. She might actually be one of the best there ever was.
