A.N. — We've got back-to-back birthday pros starting today. As this guy gets a lot of (deserved) flack in the fandom and canon, I let a hero student take this guy's actual birth date yesterday. I don't think Horikoshi was much a fan of his, either, given we don't know the names of his quirk or him.

306. Death Arms

Death Arms was a big target — in more ways than one.

Standing over two meters tall, the pro was a beacon on the battlefield. He drew enemies' attention, tanking hits so bystanders could escape. But the public wasn't often adoring in return.

Despite his bulk, Death Arms didn't have thick skin. He took criticism hard, knowing they were largely warranted. And when even chain smoking didn't take the edge off his self-induced anxiety, Death Arms called his hero career quits. There were loads his arms could lift, but the burden of heroism was one he could no longer bear.
