Celestria and Salamondra have done a lot of good for the city. They've become real heroes, but that also means that people want to know more about them.
"This is Bisca Cornell here. I'm here to remind you all about my upcoming live show knonwn as Face to Face where we will learn more about the most noticeable people of Paris and get all the information you want. Stay tune for we will be getting an exclusive interview with Celestria and Salamondra themselves." Bisca came up with a show where people can get all the juicy details about people and she's claiming Celestria and Salamondra are going to be her first guests. Stella didn't like the sound of that.
"Lucy, are you really going on live television?" Stella asked while Lucy was doing some writing.
"Yeah. Bisca asked earlier and I agreed." Lucy said.
"I don't know about this. She might try to find out something she shouldn't." Stella said.
"Relax, Stella. I only agreed to do this to let the people know that we're here to protect Paris. That's all I'm really going to let her know." Lucy said. "Besides, we have until tomorrow to figure it all out. Tonight I'm focusing on babysitting Asuka."
"But the show is tonight." Stella said with Lucy confused.
"What? I have it down as tomorrow." Lucy said.
"Remember to stay tune for tonight." Bisca said on the news. She implied the show was tonight, but that was a problem for Lucy since she has to babysit.
"You might be babysitting because the show is tonight." Stella said. Lucy had no idea how she was going to get out of this one. Especially since she's out of time as they heard someone coming and Stella hiding. Asuka came up to her room with Bisca and seemed happy.
"Lucy!" Asuka cheered as she was happy to see her.
"Thanks for doing this, Lucy. Alzack is sick and I can't leave Asuka unattended." Bisca said with Lucy not knowing what to say now. "I hope you watch for my big interview tonight. If this goes well, this show could be on for a really long time."
"Mommy's going to be a star!" Asuka cheered.
"Thanks again for doing this, Lucy. I'll see you later, sweetheart." Bisca said as she said goodbye to her daughter and left her in Lucy's care. Asuka was really excited for the show.
"You must be really happy for your mommy." Lucy said as she tried to put on an act. She needed to get to the show, but she can't just leave Asuka alone. That's why she called the one person that can help her. "Levy..."
...
The Studio
Bisca arrived at the studio and was getting ready for her big show with cookies, a tablet connected to the electronic wall, and more. She even put on a bracelet with an electronic meter on it that shows how many people are viewing the show.
"Okay, Bisca, it's in your hands." Her boss said through a phone she wore around her ear. "Make that meter turn red to green. If not, you can consider this show cancel." A lot is riding on Bisca to do a good job. She can only hope that Salamondra and Celestria make it. As she was checking things on her tablet, she heard something landed down and saw Salamondra showed up.
"Where'd you come from?" Bisca asked.
"I have my ways." Salamondra said.
"But what about Celestria? I thought you two would be arriving together." Bisca asked.
"That there's the problem with not knowing each other identities." Salamondra said. "It's hard not knowing where the other really is. Want to know a secret?" Bisca confirmed that she did with Salamondra leaning in. "I like the cookies." He said as he took one with Bisca having a small laugh.
"Is that the juicy info I was promised?" Her boss questioned as she wasn't happy.
"No! Just wait!" Bisca said. She's really hoping things go well, but if Celestria doesn't show up, it could all be downhill for her.
...
Lucy's Room
Lucy invited Levy over and claimed she wanted her and Asuka to watch the show with her. In truth, she was planning to slip out and have Levy watch Asuka while she heads for the show.
"Are you ready to see your mommy? Her show will come on any minute with Celestria and Salamondra." Levy asked.
"Even more since you're here." Asuka said.
"I wouldn't miss it. Thanks for inviting me over, Lucy. I couldn't say no when you said Asuka was here." Levy said. Lucy tried smiling to show she was glad Levy was here. She didn't like doing this, but she felt like she had to. Especially since she had to leave for the show like now.
"I'll be right back." Lucy said as she stood up and headed for the exit. "I need to talk to my parents about something."
"Now?" Levy questioned.
"I'll be back as soon as I can." Lucy said as she made her way down. Levy didn't know what that was about, but she just let it go. Lucy hurried down the stairs, but she felt bad about ditching Levy like that. "Levy's a really great friend. I feel bad about doing this."
"It's your choice, Lucy." Stella said. Lucy does feel bad about leaving Levy like this, but she doesn't plan the show to be long and probably thinks Salamondra would do most of the talking. So, she went on ahead and headed for the show.
...
The Studio
"Going live in sixty seconds!" A cameraman called.
"And sixty seconds away from having the biggest television fail." Bisca's boss said since there was no sign of Celestria. Bisca tried her best to keep it together and hoped that Celestria makes it, but she's cutting it really close. Just as it looked like the show was going to be a failure, Celestria came in the room and jumped over to the couch and landed down.
"Sorry to keep you waiting." Celestria said. Bisca was relieved as she breathed again.
"Barely avoided that one, Bisca. Now make the show good." Her boss said.
"Three... Two..." It was showtime with some people watching.
"Bisca Cornell here with Face to Face. I have with me the heroes of Paris: Celestria and Salamondra."
"We're glad to be here, Bisca." Celestria said.
"And I would like to say hello to all my fans." Salamondra said as he shot with his finger.
"I'm glad you two made it. It must not be easy being a superhero, but we can now learn all that we can about you." Bisca said.
"Well, there are somethings we have to keep secret like our identities and such." Celestria said.
"Of course. Let's start with some callers." Bisca said. "This will give our viewers the chance to ask their own questions they have." She took a call on the tablet and showed it on the monitor. The first person was Taylor herself.
"Hi, Celestria! It's me! Remember me? We're best friends!" Taylor said. Not really the first person Celestria would want to talk to.
"You have the honor of being the first caller, Taylor Allard." Bisca said.
"Of course I do." Taylor said.
"So, what is your question?" Bisca asked.
"I don't have one. I just wanted to say hi." Taylor said. That doesn't really fit with the show.
"Is this a joke, Bisca?" Her boss said. This wasn't going well and she had to cut.
"Thank you for calling, Taylor." Bisca said as she quickly ended the call. "Let's try someone else." Bisca took another call and it turned out to be Levy.
"Hey, Levy McGarden here." That could be troubling for Celestria. "I'm the girl who started the blog about you. I was just wondering what you thought of my latest work, and if you could do another interview with me in the future."
"Uh... It's great. We'll...think about it." Celestria nervously said.
"Come on. It will be fun." Levy said.
"Hi, Mommy." Asuka said as she came on the screen.
"Asuka? Where's Lucy?" Bisca asked.
"She's just downstairs talking to her parents about something." Asuka said.
"What is going on down there, Bisca?! Will you just get to the big story already?!" Her boss said as she was getting annoyed with all the nonsense. Bisca decided to just cut the calls and focus on the big one.
"Celestria and Salamondra, Paris knows you as a dynamic duo, a great pair of superheroes." Bisca said as they tried to act modest. "However, some of them think of you as an actual pair in love." A couple in love? That sounds like trouble for them, but something great to the viewers. "Could you give us any validation of your love?"
"Love?! We're not in love!" Celestria said. Just the mere mention of this subject got the viewers coming as the meter on Bisca's wrist was going up.
"Good. Keep it up." Her boss said as she was finally getting satisfied.
"I have several photos here that says otherwise. Can you explain them? Let's start with this one." Bisca said as she showed an image of Celestria and Salamondra kissing.
"What?!" Salamondra in complete shock with Celestria gasping. "When did that happen?!"
"You were under Miserain's spell! I was only breaking it!" Celestria said.
"I've got other photos here that you should see." Bisca said. She showed a bunch of photos that might have been completely innocent, but they made it look like they were a couple. Celestria felt mortified. "These pictures show you two are clearly in love. Why not tell us more about your relationship?"
"All these photos have been taken out of context!" Celestria said as she stood up. "We're not a couple."
"Well, not yet." Salamondra said.
"Salamondra! Not now!" Celestria said.
"There's no reason to be shy, Celestria. Why not just admit the truth? This show is about you two. Why not just tell our viewers what they want to know." Bisca asked.
"I am telling the truth. This isn't why I came on this show. We're only here to let everyone know that we'll be here to protect the city." Celestria said. "That's all they really need to know." That's not what Bisca needed to know for her show's sake. "I'm sorry, but we're done here. We're not going to take part in something like this." She grabbed a hold of Salamondra and dragged him out of there.
"What are you doing? Where are we going?" Salamondra said.
"Anywhere that's not here." Celestria said.
"Wait! You can't leave!" Bisca pleaded. "What about your fans?"
"We're not here for their amusement. Our real fans will understand that our jobs come first." Celestria said and just walked right out of there with the show being ruined.
"Well, Bisca, say goodbye to your big show." The boss said as she wasn't satisfied with the results. The lights went out and the show was already over. Bisca felt humiliated and like a failure.
...
Black Wizard
"A reporter should always get the big story, but some people just don't know when to admit the truth." Black Wizard said as he could feel her misery. "Well, let's turned this failed show into a great success." He took an etherious and filled it with his dark power. "Flyaway, little etherious, and evillize her!" He let the etherious out and was giving Bisca another chance to get her story.
...
Bisca
The etherious made its way to the studio. It flew to Bisca and entered the meter on her wrist.
"Primetime, I'm Black Wizard. Celestria and Salamondra won't give you the story you want? Well, I'm giving you the power to get those stories! I've got an even bigger story for you. Once you take their miraculous and give them to me, you will also learn their identities."
"The story of a century." Bisca said as she began to transform and became a reporter that won't take no for an answer.
...
Celestria and Salamondra
"What was that about?" Salamondra asked as they came out through the roof.
"Bisca was going to do anything to get the kind of story she wants and make her show a hit." Celestria said. "I was not going to play along with her prying questions just to amuse some people."
"But people can't help themselves. These kinds of things come with stardom." Salamondra said.
"We're superheroes! Not stars or celebrities!" Celestria said. "We should be doing our jobs! That's all that should matter!"
"Don't you think you might be overreacting?" Salamondra asked as he thought all what happened back there was perfectly harmless.
"I'm out of here. I'm not going to waste time by looking like a fool on T.V." Celestria said as she jumped off the building and just left.
"Hey! Wait!" Salamondra called as he chased after her. What they don't know was that Celestria's attitude has given Black Wizard what he wants.
...
Levy
Levy searched through the channels for anything about what happened. She was also wondering where Lucy was.
"Urgh... What happened? What's going on?" Levy complained.
"Where's Mommy on T.V.?" Asuka asked.
"I'm sure she'll be back on before you know it." Levy said, but she saw Asuka already fell asleep. Deciding to let the kid sleep, she placed Asuka in a more comfortable place.
"Hello, viewers!" Levy was surprised, as was all of Paris, when someone appeared on the screens all over Paris.
...
Celestria and Salamondra
The two of them were on their way through the rooftops when they all saw what was going on. The woman had a visor over her eyes with her wearing a black dress with long sleeves and slits to show off her legs with her walking in bare feet.
"I'm Primetime. I'm the new host of the show. I'll be sure to get the scoop on Celestria and Salamondra now."
"Bisca?!" They both said as they were shocked to see what happened to her.
"Let's see how far our heroes will go to hide the truth. You viewers don't want to miss this." Primetime claimed. She showed live footage of Taylor's room with Taylor surprised at what was happening. Primetime was able to slip right through the screen and appear right in Taylor's room with a rope in hand. Once she tied Taylor up, she took her through the screen and brought her to the subway and left her in a cart. "Celestria and Salamondra, our first guest, Taylor Allard, is your best friend. Simply jump into the scree and try to save her." Primetime used her power to opened a way through the screen. They would just have to jump inside.
"Let's go!" Salamondra said as he was ready to jump into action.
"It's got to be a trap. I think I would rather get there by my own means." Celestria said, but Salamondra thought that was just a waste of time.
"You want to find a train that's going around seventy miles in hundreds of subway lines that go all over the city?" Salamondra said. When he pointed it out like that, she could see the problem.
"After you." Celestria said. With no time time to waste, the two of them got moving and jumped right through the screen.
...
The Subway
Celestria and Salamondra emerged from a monitor on the train and found themselves in the cart with Taylor.
"It's about time! Get me out of here!" Taylor complained. "I hate taking the subway. It's so gross down here." Celestria and Salamondra were about to free her, but they heard laughter and spotted Primetime was with them.
"I'm glad you could make it. No getting out of my show this time." Primetime said as she held up her meter. "Let's keep the viewers coming. They'll sure want to know what will happen next."
"That meter on her wrist must be where the etherious is." Celestria said.
"I got it!" Salamondra said as he extended his staff forward, but Primetime jumped into a monitor and managed to escape. What she did next was slip her arm through a screen in the conductor's cart and gave the conductor a good scare. She reached for the accelrator and was making the train go faster at an unsafe speed.
"You're in for a wild ride. Going so fast at an uncontrollable speed can be dangerous." Primetime said as she appeared on the screen again. "Admit to the viewers you're in love, fill the meter by making the views skyrocket, and I'll stop the train."
"We won't admit to something that isn't true." Celestria said as she was holding her ground.
"I want my scoop!" Primetime demanded.
"I'll use my Dragon Fire." Salamondra said as he was ready.
"No. We should save it. We need to get her to come to us." Celestria said. "Since it's your show, Primetime, how about you come here in person. A live interview is better than one over screens."
"I'm not falling for that." Primetime said as she was making the train go faster.
"Wait! I can give you what you want!" Salamondra said. He had Celestria turn to him. Primetime could see where this was going and it was what she wanted as the train started to slowdown. "Pucker up." Salamondra leaned in for a kiss and was going to give what Primetime was looking for.
"Not a chance, hotshot." Celestria said. That didn't go well. It got Primetime some viewers, but not enough.
"Find a way to force them to give up their miraculous. By revealing their identities, you'll have the scoop of the century." Black Wizard told Primetime in her head. She decided another tactic as the screen turned black.
"Is the show over?" Salamondra asked as he checked the screen.
"If we can't get to her, we'll never capture the etherious." Celestria said. They waited a moment until Primetime came back.
"Let's try something else. I have another guest with me." Primetime said as she showed she was at the museum. She opened the sarcophagus and showed Levy tied up in there.
"Celestria! Help!" Levy called.
"Oh my! Isn't this the girl who wrote the first blog about you? You better hurry to save her." Primetime said as she had one of the monitor's open a way for them.
"Be ready for anything." Celestria said. Salamondra understood with both of them jumping inside.
"Hey! What about me?!" Taylor called.
...
Celestria and Salamondra
Both of them emerged out of screen, but it was a trick. They ended up in a freezer and nowhere near the museum.
"It was a double-cross!" Celestria complained. She tried getting the door open, but it wouldn't budge.
"I have you now." Primetime said as she appeared on the screen. "You're little friend is about to take a dip." She pushed with her foot and pushed the sarcophagus through a screen. On the other side was another screen set up over the river, and she was about to push Levy in.
"Uh... Dragon Fire?" Salamondra asked.
"There's no point. We're too far away to do anything." Celestria said as this wasn't looking good.
"How about a kiss to give her what she wants?" Salamondra suggested and tried to kiss her again.
"Still not a chance." Celestria said.
"Oh, come on! You did it before!" Salamondra complained.
"You can save her by admitting your love or giving me your miraculous and revealing your identities." Primetime offered. "Don't do either of those and she is going for a ride down the river." It wasn't looking good at all. That's a way to get people to watch. There was only one option they had left.
"Open the Celestial Gate!" Celestria used her power and ended up being tape with Capricorn sign on it. Celestria tried to act fast. She spotted the tape, the screen, and the bins in the freezer. "That's it!"
...
Primetime
Primetime watched them carefully, but she saw something happened. The screen was going black and she couldn't see anything that was happening.
"What's going on?" Primetime questioned as she looked around on the screen, but saw nothing.
"Okay, Primetime. I guess there's no other choice. We're about to take off our miraculous." Celestria claimed.
"And we're about to kiss. Too bad you can't see it." Salamondra said. Primetime looked to the meter and saw it hasn't maxed out yet. Wanting that, she had to get this to be seen. At the same time, she knows this has to be some sort of trick.
"If you're lying, you will pay." Primetime said. She reached inside and tried pushing against what was blocking the screen. What was blocking it was a couple bins taped to the screen. When she was able to push one off, Salamondra and Celestria grabbed a hold of her and she was now inside with them. By smashing the screen, she was trapped with them now.
"Nowhere to run now." Celestria said. Primetime tried fighting them off, but they were still able to avoid her attacks. Primetime kicked her leg forward, but Celestria grabbed a hold of her leg and pushed her to the ground and kept her pinned. Salamondra took his staff and smashed it against the meter with the etherious being free.
"Dragon Fire!" Salamondr called on his power and burned down the door that trapped them so they could finally be free.
"No more evildoing for you, little etherious." Celestria activated her whip and got to work. "Time to de-evillize!" She twirled her whip around and tossed it at the etherious and caught it. "Gotcha! Bye-Bye, little guy." She released and purified the etherious. "Miraculous Starlight!" She tossed the tap and the magic stars brought everyone back to where they were and Primetime becoming Bisca again.
"Pound it!" The heroes said as they bumped fists.
...
Black Wizard
"The truth always comes out eventually. I will find out who you two are." Black Wizard said. "When I do, your miraculous will be mine! Just you wait!"
...
Lucy's Room
Levy made sure Asuka was safe. She was glad to see Asuka was perfectly safe. She did hear someone coming up stairs and saw Lucy finally came back.
"Sorry, Levy. That took longer than I thought." Lucy said. "I was going to come back up when I saw what was happening with that new supervillain."
"Well, it's good thing you weren't up here. She could have taken you too." Levy said. "Although, it looks like a certain reporter might be jealous that I do her job better." The two of them had a good laugh with Lucy just glad Levy and Asuka were safe.
...
The Next Day
"Bisca, here." Bisca said as she was trying a different segment on television. "Today, I have Levy McGarden with me here. She's going to reveal all that she can about Celestria and Salamondra. This girl really knows her stuff for everything she's posted is fact."
"Hi, everyone." Levy said as she was on the news with Bisca. "First of all, I'm here to set the record straight. Celestria and Salamondra are NOT a couple. At least they aren't yet." All this actually happened with the girls watching it right now. Bisca's boss was most pleased with this segment.
"You're on T.V. with Mommy!" Asuka said with her watching at Lucy's place with Levy herself and Lucy.
"I can't believe you actually got on." Lucy said.
"You better believe it. Want an autograph?" Levy said. The three of them were having a great time. Another thing about getting the truth, you find those who can be true friends.
