Suki unwittingly helps the prince of Techno escape a forced marriage.

Parties are a common pastime for trolls, so much so that it's become a business for those savvy enough. Suki's family doesn't have any monopoly over the industry, but they are known for their DJ skills. Her dad had a loyal line of clientele, and Suki obviously followed in his footsteps.

When she was little, Suki was often with her dad whenever he DJed for parties. "It's for the experience!" He always said, not that Suki minded. She loved being with her dad. To this day, the highest compliment she could receive would be comparing her to her late father.

Suki smiles at the thought, patting her wooferbug's head tenderly as she walks him through Pop Village. She has a gig today. An engagement party, she believes. She sets up her wooferbug and puts on a set to check her sound. Everything is running smoothly, which is a blessing with her track record.

A few hours have passed, and the party is kicking off in full swing. Trolls of all kinds are dancing to the music. Suki feels a swell of pride at the sight. She glances down as she hears the familiar chime of her hug time bracelet going off. Several identical bracelets chime after it. Within the crowd of partygoers, all the pop trolls and a few others hug each other. Suki pets her wooferbug and puts on a playlist, as it's now her break.

Suki walks away from the bustle of the party and pulls a sandwich from her hair. She's so focused on the sandwich she bumps into someone and sends them to the ground.

"Ooh, sorry!" Suki says as she looks down at the blue techno troll she knocked to the ground. The guy gets up almost instantly, a frazzled expression on his face. A small part of Suki told her that this guy looked familiar, but she couldn't put her finger on it.

Her eyes narrowed in thought. The guy looks a bit concerned at Suki's lack of movement, but Suki finally jumps up in recollection.

"Wait! This is your party, right?" Suki asks with a smile. She thinks she recognizes him from one of the vendor meetings her client arranged.

The techno troll gave her a strange look but nodded. "Yeah, I guess you could say that."

Suki takes a bite of her sandwich. "Nice. Is this your engagement?"

The techno troll pursed his lips, unsure of how to respond. "..no?"

"Oh," Suki says. "A friend then?" The techno troll blinks.

"Yeah…let's go with that." He says with a nod.

Suki eats the last few bites of her sandwich. She notices the blue troll constantly looking around and over his shoulder. If Suki didn't know any better, she'd think he was a fugitive or something.

"Do you know the fastest way to leave this place?" He asks. "Without being seen."

"Leaving so soon?" Suki teased. "The party is just starting!" She leans in close to whisper into the techno troll's ear. "And I heard through the grapevine a royal is coming."

"Oh really?" The techno troll says with an almost amused expression. Suki nods. This makes the techno troll chuckle, his green eyes flickering with a hint of endearment.

"That's cool, but I really have to go. Like, right now." The techno troll says. Suki nods in understanding.

"I feel ya. If you're trying to avoid being seen I'd just head over that way by the ferns and take a left around the second cluster of pods."

"Thank you!" The techno troll said enthusiastically. Suki grins.

"No problem, have a good night." Her hug bracelet goes off, signaling to Suki her break is over.

When Suki comes back, she's shocked to see the party in disarray. After asking around a bit, Suki finds out that Prince Trollex, the one whom this engagement party was for, has vanished.

Allegedly, the prince isn't thrilled about the upcoming marriage, and his fiancé is not happy about his disappearing act.

Poppy tells her more about it the next day, saying how Trollex told her about his plan to run away but she hadn't believed he'd go through with it. It's during Poppy's rambling that Suki sees a picture of the prince, and Suki's eyes widen in recollection.

The prince is the same guy she was talking to yesterday. No wonder he looked so familiar. Dang.

Suki's shoulders slump as she realizes she'd given the prince an escape route yesterday.

"Are you okay Deej? You look kinda pale." Poppy's voice snaps Suki from her thoughts.

"Yep. Never better." Suki squeaks. She briefly wonders if she should go look for Trollex and bring him back. Nah. This isn't her problem, she tells herself. Let the officials deal with it.

"My dad said there might be a war if they can't bring Trollex back," Poppy says while looking at Suki. "Isn't that crazy?"

Suki internally groans, now knowing she definitely needs to try and bring him back.
