As Vegeta prepared to engage the android, his aura flaring with intense power, Jax observed the scene from the shadows. His keen eyes analysed the situation, assessing the power dynamics at play. The android, prepared for Vegeta's attack, turned its attention toward the Saiyan prince.

Vegeta, fuelled by a mix of anger and pride, lunged at the android with blinding speed. His movements were swift, but the android's remote draining effect was intense, it countered effortlessly, evading Vegeta's attacks with calculated precision. The Saiyan prince's frustration grew with each failed strike.

Jax remained hidden, monitoring the battle closely. His orders were clear—to protect his primary and ensure the stability of the timeline. As he observed Vegeta's fighting style, he recognized the Saiyan's tenacity and pride, qualities that could be both an advantage and a vulnerability.

The android, unaffected by Vegeta's physical assaults, intensified its invisible barrage of energy-draining beams. Vegeta evaded some but found himself caught in the crossfire of others. His energy levels began to drop, and the android capitalized on his weakened state.

Vegeta's eyes flared with fiery determination as he locked onto the android, the pulsating energy of a Saiyan warrior ready for battle. The air crackled with tension as the two powerful beings faced each other, a storm gathering in the heavens above, mirroring the tempest of conflicting forces below.

The android, its metallic visage betraying no emotion, stood unwavering. Its energy-draining capabilities had left Vegeta weakened, but the Saiyan prince refused to let this affront to his pride go unanswered. With a feral growl, Vegeta lunged at the android, his movements a blur of Super Saiyan speed and precision.

The android, however, demonstrated an eerie proficiency in evasion. It effortlessly sidestepped Vegeta's initial onslaught, a testament to its advanced combat algorithms. Vegeta's frustration simmered as he launched a barrage of energy blasts, each aimed with pinpoint accuracy. Yet, the android countered, deflecting the blasts with calculated ease.

The battle unfolded in a dance of kinetic energy, a clash between Saiyan might and mechanical precision. Vegeta, driven by a burning desire to overcome, pressed on with relentless ferocity. His fists struck with the force of a meteor shower, each blow echoing through the landscape. Yet, the android remained resolute, adapting to Vegeta's assault with algorithmic efficiency.

As the intensity of the battle heightened, Vegeta, his pride stinging with each evaded attack, pushed himself to the limit. His power surged, an incandescent aura enveloping him as he ascended to Super Saiyan 2, a transformation that heralded a seismic shift in the balance of power.

The android, facing an ascended Super Saiyan, recalibrated its strategy. It began to analyse Vegeta's patterns, seeking weaknesses in the Saiyan's newfound power. The clash between the two titans intensified, the very ground quivering beneath the cataclysmic forces at play.

Vegeta, fuelled by the rage of a Saiyan warrior scorned, unleashed a volley of energy attacks that painted the sky in brilliant hues of blue and gold. The android, however, displayed a cunning ability to adapt, countering each attack with unwavering precision.

Just as Vegeta's assault reached a crescendo, the android executed a sudden, unexpected manoeuvre. A surge of energy emanated from its metallic core, creating a gravitational force that ensnared Vegeta. The Saiyan prince found himself suspended in mid-air; his movements restricted by an unseen force, as it absorbed his barrage, obtaining its power.

It was in this moment of vulnerability that Jax, observing from a distance, recognized the imminent threat to Vegeta's life and the potential disruption to the timeline. With a burst of energy, he appeared on the battlefield, positioning himself between Vegeta and the android, both warriors turned their attention to the newcomer.

"I suggest you stand down," Jax warned the android. "Your interference in this timeline is over."

As the confrontation with Vegeta had unfolded, invaluable data flooded the android's processors, providing critical insights into Saiyan combat strategies and power level dynamics. Analysis of Vegeta's combat techniques and power utilization allowed for real-time adjustments to its predictive algorithms, optimizing its adaptive combat protocols. However, the detection of the power level emanating from the newcomer posed an unforeseen risk. The foreign energy signature registered as a potential threat, indicating a level of power beyond conventional parameters. Simultaneously, internal diagnostics highlighted suboptimal functionality in certain systems, requiring immediate attention. To remedy these deficiencies, the android recalibrated its directives, acknowledging the necessity to consume raw materials for efficient system repairs. The mandate for resource acquisition superseded its immediate engagement with the Saiyan, directing the android's attention towards a tactical withdrawal to facilitate the repair process and enhance its overall combat efficiency.

Vegeta, irritated by the interruption, eyed Jax cautiously. "Who the hell are you?"

"I'm a Time Patroller," he replied. "I'm here to ensure the safety of the timeline, and you're standing in the way."

Vegeta's pride flared. "I don't need anyone's help. Especially not from some time-traveling lackey."

Before the situation could escalate further, the android completed its assessment of the new development and seized the opportunity to retreat. With a sudden burst of speed, it vanished into the distance, leaving Vegeta and Jax behind.

Vegeta, released from the android's invisible grip, frustrated by the sudden turn of events, turned his glare toward Jax. "You just let it escape! What's your game, Patroller?"

Jax remained composed. "My game is to protect the timeline. Your fight with that android was a threat to it."

Vegeta scoffed. "I don't need lectures from you. I had it under control."

Jax's gaze remained unwavering. "Your pride could have cost us more than you realize. This isn't just about your personal battles."

Vegeta's frustration smouldered beneath the surface as he exchanged a lingering glance with Jax, the Time Patroller who had intervened in his battle with the mysterious android. The Saiyan prince's pride, wounded not just by the android's energy-draining tactics but also by the unexpected interference, simmered like a boiling cauldron.

Jax, maintaining a stoic demeanour, assessed Vegeta with a calculating gaze. His duty as a Time Patroller compelled him to protect the timeline, but the challenge lay in navigating the delicate dance between maintaining temporal stability and respecting the fierce pride of the Saiyan warrior.

"You think you saved me, Patroller?" Vegeta's voice cut through the charged air, an audible undercurrent of irritation lacing his words.

"I'm saving the timeline," Jax responded evenly, unwavering. "You were a casualty waiting to happen."

Vegeta's scowl deepened. "I don't need saving, especially not from a lackey of the Supreme Kai of Time."

Jax raised an eyebrow, unswayed by Vegeta's dismissive tone. "Your personal battles could jeopardize more than just your pride. They could disrupt the fabric of time itself."

The Saiyan prince snorted, crossing his arms. "Time, space, it matters not. I will settle my affairs on my terms."

As the verbal clash between Vegeta and Jax unfolded, the tension lingered, a palpable force in the air. The Android's retreat hung in the background, an unresolved threat that both warriors acknowledged.

Goku, unable to contain his curiosity any longer, sensing the residual energy from the scuffle, used his instant transmission to approach the duo cautiously. His eyes flitted between Vegeta and Jax, sensing the unresolved conflict lingering beneath the surface. "Hey, what's going on here?"

Vegeta shot a glance at Goku, his frustration still evident. "My Time Patroller friend here decided to play the hero. Saved me from my own battle."

Goku turned his gaze toward Jax, a curious expression on his face. "Time Patroller, huh...What's a time patroller exactly?" He asked, sheepishly.

Jax, unswayed by the collective scrutiny, remained focused on the bigger picture. "My duty is to safeguard the integrity of the timeline. We monitor and respond to disturbances, preventing any alterations to the past that could jeopardize the course of history. Our task is to ensure that events unfold as they should, maintaining the delicate balance of cause and effect throughout the vast expanse of space and time. I am here not to interfere with your battles but to prevent any deviations that could have far-reaching consequences for the future, your lives, and the very existence of this universe."

Vegeta snorted again, his Saiyan pride unwilling to yield. "I don't need a lecture from a time babysitter. I'll handle my battles my way."

Goku, ever the peacemaker, interjected with a grin. "Guys, we've got a bigger problem on our hands. That Android is still out there, and it won't stop until it gets what it wants."

Vegeta's scowl deepened, the reminder of the unresolved threat reigniting his Saiyan fighting spirit. "Then I'll deal with it my way, Patroller or not."

Jax turned to look at Goku for the first time, "You shouldn't be here, it isn't safe for the child." Goku remembering himself, cradled his stomach protectively. Although, he wasn't sure what he was more concerned about at this point, running into the android or facing Gohan's wrath upon his return to the lookout.

Before Goku knew it, Vegeta engulfed by his ascended Saiyan power blasted off in the direction of the android, closely followed by Jax. Be safe, Vegeta. Look out for him, new guy, whoever you are.
Without wasting any further time, Goku raised his fingers to his forehead, and concentrated on the lookout. 0.68 seconds later, he was standing in the heavens, once more.

"Just where exactly did you vanish to, actually don't answer that, I already know, do you know how stupid that was?" Gohan barked.

Goku knew all too well his son was right, all he could respond with was one of his childish grins, luckily that almost always got him off the hook, with Gohan anyway.

Hearing a commotion from inside the lookout, and the smell of lunch hitting his senses, for the first time in a while, Goku was starving and bolted in the direction of the delicious senses.

Vegeta's return and Ki boost didn't take long in restoring dad to his old self. Gohan worried to himself; I only hope this Android threat is sorted quickly so we can get back to preparing for this baby's arrival.

As the android swiftly approached the industrial sector, its sensors meticulously scanned the surroundings for suitable raw materials to initiate the repair process. In a calculated display of efficiency, the mechanical entity began absorbing metals, alloys, and energy sources from the industrial machinery with unparalleled precision. The air resonated with the hum of machinery as the android seamlessly integrated the acquired materials into its frame. Sparks flew and metallic tendrils extended, connecting with various terminals to expedite the repair sequence. The industrial sector, once a hub of productivity, became an unwitting supplier of resources to the relentless android. The speed at which the repairs progressed was a testament to the machine's advanced technological capabilities, reinforcing its determination to swiftly return to optimal functionality and resume its mission. Upon completing the intricate repair process, the android's form underwent a subtle transformation. Its once rigid and mechanical exterior now displayed a more refined, human-like appearance. The cold, metallic features softened, adopting a semblance of the organic. The gleaming, artificial eyes now held a glint of something almost human, a touch of sentience infused into the otherwise calculated precision of its design. This adaptation served not only to conceal its true nature but also to navigate the human world with increased subtlety. The android, now concealing its relentless machinery beneath a more human facade, prepared to reengage with the relentless pursuit of its mission.

Vegeta flew through the skies at speeds that reflected his increasingly bad mood, closely followed by Jak. This new "Time patroller" as he called himself, was a Saiyan, he knew it, it was obvious. But where did he come from? Or, perhaps more importantly, when had he come from? Time travel made Vegeta's head hurt. Ultimately, he didn't care what point in time he came from, Vegeta would get to the bottom of that mystery. Just as soon as he'd destroyed this damned android, and if he was being honest with himself, he wasn't sure how he was going to accomplish that. All previous methods of combat against its kind seemed ineffective. At least, he assumed since he couldn't get close to the bloody thing to land any damage. It didn't appear to be that powerful, if he could only reach it, obliterating it wouldn't be difficult, its defensive power its one and only truly effect offensive measure.

"Back off, boy. I don't require your assistance." Vegeta ordered. An order that went duly ignored by the other Saiyan. Vegeta's temper had taken all it could this day, as he abruptly came to a stop, turning to face the Time Patroller, powering up his Ki. "I'm warning you, this is your final warning" he glared.

"We don't have time for this." Replied Jak.
"That's ironic, a Time Patroller who's out of time." Vegeta sneered in response. Vegeta launched forward, powering up to Super Saiyan 2 in the process, vanishing out of sight, closing the gap, and reappearing almost instantly in his opponents' face as he landed his fist in Jak's stomach. The Time patroller stumbled back, mid-air, winded and trying to regain his breath. "You should have seen that coming." Vegeta bellowed in laughter.

Jak recovered quickly, composing himself like any good Saiyan would. "That is the last time you'll be able to catch me of guard." Jak responded blankly as he began to power up.
"My, my, the boy has pride," Vegeta mocked "you are a Saiyan, I knew it. But look at me, this is what a legendary, ascended, Super prince of all Saiyan's looks like, you can't hope to defeat me with a puny power like yours."

Jak roared as his power raged, surging through him, the power feeding his muscles as he surpassed into super Saiyan, power only increasing as he delved further into his power reserves, his muscles continued to sweal and develop.

This caught Vegeta's attention, so the patroller was a super Saiyan, by today's standard, it was almost a given, even his son was capable of the transformation, he should have expected it. It was only when Jak ascended to super Saiyan 2 that Vegeta gritted his teeth.
WHAT? Who is this guy? Only Kakarot, Gohan, Trunks and I should have this ability. Our training for Cell helped us attain this power, no other remaining Saiyan's should have this power.

Jak's power levelled off as he paused his power up, catching his breath. "You think the Saiyan's of this planet are the only ones smart enough to ascend?"

"Hmph, you may indeed be powerful my young patroller friend, but your power, even at this level, still pales compared to mine, you should give up now."

"Oh, I'm not done." Jak smirked. Powering up again, he delved into all the power he could, summoning it from the inner most depths of himself.

"What?" Vegeta said, talking to himself "That's impossible, he…he can't be…" In that moment, Jak's Ki exploded around him in a ray of blinding light that seemed to reach the darkest parts of the galaxy. As it slowly began to diminish, Jak came back into focus, his fierce Ki bellowing around his body, like flames licking at his figure. It was then that Vegeta could clearly see the inches upon inches of golden hair that hung down his back.

That bastard is a Super Saiyan 3…

Executing a precisely calculated flight trajectory at a velocity of 1500 meters per second, the android maintained a constant altitude of 300 meters above the Earth's surface. Employing sophisticated algorithms, it systematically shut down energy absorption functions to mask its approach, rendering its energy signature near invisible. The optimal convergence point with the designated target was rapidly approaching, with precise calculations indicating a spatial intersection within the next thirty seconds. The android's internal diagnostics registered optimal operational parameters, and its neural network processed the environmental variables with sub-millisecond efficiency. As the target's energy readings became increasingly pronounced, the android adjusted its flight vector, preparing to initiate the next phase of its directive with unwavering accuracy.

"Dad slow down, you're going to choke." Gohan laughed, only a little in disgust, knowing fine rightly his request would be in vain.

"Hey!" Goku retorted "I'm eating for two, that's not easy you know." His response triggering a few laughs from his family around him. Bulma & Chi-Chi sat quietly, eating their meal, Chi-Chi sitting with her friend, her silence a subtle show of solidarity. Bulma would adapt, in time, but she wasn't exactly known for her calm temperament. Goten & Trunks were mauling their meal, oblivious of the slightly frosty atmosphere, in typical Saiyan style. They planned to fuse and head off to fight the android…just as soon as they'd eaten. Dende, his ever-observant self, was looking out the nearest window with a slightly pensive look. Mr Po-Po who was tending the table, paused by his side. "Is everything okay, Dende?" "I'm not sure Mr Po-Po, something feels…off".

This caught Goku & Gohan's attention, both turning to him in unison. "What is it, Dende?" Gohan said first, the panic in his voice evident.
"I can't be sure, but I think…the Android, I think its here."

To Be Concluded.
