Hello, readers. I am posting this because of a review I recently received, and I feel like I have to, since the review was a guest review and I have no other way of responding to this person.
I recently received a review from someone who said that they believe that this story, and by extension the entire series, is an interesting concept but was poorly executed. This person suggested that they could do better, and insinuated that they would attempt to re-write the Terran Alliance series to remedy the mistakes they think I made, or take over the series from me since they think I'm not doing a good job with it.
Let me be clear once and for all. I don't care if you think I did a bad job with this story or the series. That's your opinion, and you can have it. That does not give you the right to try and rewrite my work or change it. Just because this is fanfiction doesn't mean that plagiarism isn't a thing. This may be fanfiction, but the plotlines and a lot of original characters are completely my own.
So let me make this clear. If anyone reading this wants to write their own "Earth gets involved in Star Wars" fanfiction, go for it. But if anyone tries to steal my work or rewrite it to suit their preferences, I will not tolerate it. You can learn to deal with things not going to your liking without trying to take it and make it your own.
And to anyone out there who agrees with me, and especially to my fans, please keep watch for any stories that look like the author rewrote my work, and let me know if you see any. Also, the person who left those reviews wrote them in Spanish, so if this person attempts to publish a rewritten Terran Alliance series, they will likely do so in Spanish, so for any devoted fans who actually want to watch out for it, keep an eye on the stories published in Spanish too.
I will probably eventually take this note down, but I will leave it up for a little while to ensure this message reaches all my readers, and especially the person who left those reviews. Please, respect my work and my rights to my work.
