"No."
"No?" Olivia asked. "What do you mean 'no?!'"
The Toad shot the Origami Twins a look. "I mean no. You Origami Folk have been banned from this place. Get out of here before somebody tosses you over the side!"
"I don't think you understand our situation. We need to get inside," Olly explained.
"No, no, no. Seriously, how dumb can you be to not understand a single simple word?" The White Toad pulled a microphone closer to him. "Last chance before you're thrown back to the surface."
"What did you just say to me?"
The Toad rolled his eyes. "Even if you weren't the dreaded Origami King, I still wouldn't allow you Origami Folk access! You were banned. How do you not realize that?"
Olly's eye twitched. "This is important. Let us through."
"No. And for the record, we only let your Folded Soldiers in because we just wanted Bowser's Castle out of our island, and they said you would handle it! So why, tell me why, is his castle still inside of our sanctuary?! You lied to us! You disrespected-!"
"Let us in!"
"And now you're interrupting me?! Wait until the security hears about this! No Origami Folk are allowed." He pointed a hand at the irritated Origami King, the exit being right behind him. "So get out!"
Olly pointed back at him. "Don't tell me what I can or cannot do! I have higher power than you, just let us in!"
He forced Olly's hand down. "Don't point at me!"
"You did it first!"
"Olly, just calm down and let me try."
Olly huffed and faced away from the Toad. Olivia moved closer to the desk, holding Skye.
"You see, our friends Mario and Luigi are already inside. We need to enter so we can join them. Could you please grant access just this one time? We promise not to bother you again."
"And now you're bringing a wild animal into this place?"
"She's not wild! We're taking care of her!" Olivia's eyes teared up. "Why are you being mean to Skye? She didn't do anything wrong! Look at her cute face!"
He leaned towards the microphone. "We've got two very stubborn Origami Folk who have no idea what I'm saying. Must be delirious..."
"Why is he so mean? He wasn't that mean before!" Olivia wiped the tears from her face.
"That's it! Nobody makes my sister cry!" Olly tackled the Toad.
"What the-! Aah! Security!"
"Olly?! What do you think you're doing?!" She went to stop him, but backed off instead. "Maybe he does deserve a lesson..."
Two more white Toads entered and pried Olly off of the Toad. Olly, panting, accepted it. The Toad got back up, fixed his little wings, and dusted off his robe.
"Now, we were just going to prevent you from coming back up...Throw him out!"
They chucked Olly out the door, over the side of the clouds. Olivia gasped.
"Why would you do that?! That's my brother, I'll have you know!"
"Access has been blocked for you two. The portal will no longer open for Origami Folk. Have a nice day!"
They grabbed Olivia's arms. "No, wait!"
She tried to kick free from their grasp as they brought her closer to the exit. They tossed her over as well.
"Have fun trying to get back up without the portal!" The Toad called.
Something grabbed onto her and she spun in a small circle.
"Waah!"
"They tossed you...right towards the sea...with no ability for you to fly?!"
"Oh hi, Olly."
Olly's face was red. "That dumb little-" He muttered something under his breath. "I'm going to kill him."
"Weh?!"
Olly flew back up, Olivia holding onto his hand for her life.
"Your eyes are glowing agai-aaaah! We're going so fast! Slow down!"
He gently placed her onto the floor and went back inside. "You racist pig!"
The Toad screamed afterwards. Silence followed.
"Ooh, I hope he didn't actually kill that Toad!"
She went inside and saw Olly panting in the middle of the room. Nobody was dead, thankfully, just unconscious; and the room was destroyed. The Toad behind the desk was hiding, shivering.
"Y-y-y-you c-c-can ent-t-ter i-i-i-if y-you w-w-want...!"
"Thank you," Olly said, surprisingly calm again.
"Olly? What did you do?"
"I...have no idea," he admitted sadly. "It was like when I..." Olly shook it off. "It doesn't matter. We can go inside now!"
"Olly, you need to stay calm, okay? I know you can have a bit of a temper, but I don't want things to get out of hand again like they did at the Origami Festival. Okay? Will you try?"
Olly looked at the Toad, then nodded. "Yeah..."
Olivia held his hand again as they left, Olly taking one back glance at the Toad.
"Do you think I can become evil again?"
Olivia stopped, facing her brother. "Olly, you're not evil. You never were. You were just hurt and confused." She smiled at him. "That Toad just pushed too much too far. You're not, never were, and never will be evil."
Olly smiled slightly. "I appreciate that..."
"Let's keep going. When we find the Mario Brothers, we can start interviewing people!"
Olivia led Olly over to Mario and Luigi, who were relaxing on benches. They were both asleep.
"Hmm...Maybe we should let them sleep," Olivia said.
Olly's gaze went to Bowser's Castle. It was straightened out, the entrance no longer at an angle. "What about there? I just saw somebody enter there."
"That's Bowser's Castle. I don't think he'd be too happy to see you."
Olly had already headed off.
"Olly, wait!" Olivia persued after him. "Wait up! I'm coming with you!"
Olly entered the castle, Olivia hesitant to enter at first. She entered nonetheless, and set out to find her brother. He was at the top of the steps in front of the door to the throne room. She joined his side.
"What's wrong?"
"They went here, but then they disappeared. They just vanished into thin air..."
"Olly..."
"I can't be going insane...Right?"
Olivia shook her head. "No, I don't think so." She gave him a smile. "Why don't we try asking around? Somebody must be willing to help us, right?"
"I suppose..."
Olivia led Olly back out of the castle. She looked around. None of Bowser's minions were anywhere to be found.
"Hello," a white Toad said, waving. He had round glasses. "Um, you two seem lost. Can I show you where you want to go?"
"Actually, we have a question! Do you know anyone named Mani or Sandi? Or-our preference-both?"
"Mani and Sandi? They died long ago. Last was heard of Mani, she was on the surface somewhere."
"And Sandi?"
"Little is known about her." He sadly shook his head. "I don't even know much about her. How do you know about her? You're not Ancient Ones...aren't you?"
Olly raised his hand halfway, keeping his eyes glued to the floor. "I-I may be part...And since Olivia and I are twins, she also may...be part..."
"Part Ancient One? That explains why you two are origami."
"What's wrong with origami," Olivia asked.
"You see," he turned, tapping a finger to his chin, "Mani and Sandi were the rulers of a kingdom long forgotten. The Origami Kingdom."
