It has been eight days since Elena rejoined the side of the living again. The Gilbert girl felt like she had been adjusting quite well after being dead and on other side for a few months.

The most difficult part for Elena, though, was dealing with the fact that she no longer needed human or animal blood to survive anymore. The Gilbert girl had gotten so used to being a vampire that it felt strange that she didn't have drink blood nor did she have enhanced speed or hearing.

Elena definitely missed being a vampire with those advantages but Elena was also very in content with being a human again.

Speaking of being a vampire, the Gilbert girl had been quite surprised when she found out that her aunt Jenna was a vampire now. Elena was very angry and upset when Jenna told her that Klaus turned her into a vampire for the fun of it. However, after Elena had calmed down, she was just relieved that Jenna was dealing with her vampirism well.

The one thing that shook Elena to core when she was getting caught up with everything that happened when she was dead was when Elena asked about the youngest Salvatore's whereabouts. Elena was shocked when she found out that Stefan has been trapped with Klaus since the sacrifice.

The Gilbert girl was saddened for her best friend in Stefan but she was also heartbroken for Emily, who hasn't seen her boyfriend in months. Elena couldn't even begin to imagine how her twin sister was dealing with that. Elena would have been a crying mess if that was Damon.

Elena knew life in Mystic Falls would never be anywhere perfect when they were always right there in the middle of every supernatural problem. However, the Gilbert girl was just glad to be back. Elena would happily go through hell with her friends and family as long as she got to fight right beside them and not stuck on the other side.

Elena felt so thankful and blessed that she got this second chance to be with her loved ones. The Gilbert girl swore she was never going to take her life for granted again now that she was back in the land of the living.

It was around seven in the evening and Elena was a woman on a mission as she walked through the front door of the Salvatore boarding house with three heavy plastic bags in her hands and her boyfriend following slowly behind.

"Are you going to tell me why you needed to get all of this stuff yet?" The Salvatore vampire inquired with amusement in his voice while he also carried two other plastic bags. Damon had been quite confused when the Gilbert girl dragged him all around Mystic Falls for a mini shopping trip.

The Gilbert girl released a light chuckle at Damon's curiousness. She had been hearing it practically all day with Damon begging to tell him what they were shopping for.

Elena placed the three bags down on the couch before she turned around to face her boyfriend. "I want to have a twin night with Emily," the Gilbert girl finally revealed as she wrapped her arms around Damon's neck.

The Salvatore vampire stared down at his girlfriend with a slight pout to his lips. "What about me?" Damon whined as he slithered his arms around his girlfriend's waist and pulled Elena into his chest.

The Gilbert girl released a giggle as she looked up at her boyfriend with a wide grin. "You're not a twin, babe," Elena jokingly reminded her boyfriend. Elena shortly pecked the Salvatore vampire's lips before she requested, "I need you to do me a tiny favor."

Damon ignored his girlfriend's words for the moment as he pulled Elena into a slow and sweet kiss. The Salvatore vampire couldn't help but smile into the kiss before he pulled away with so much love and adoration shining in his blue eyes. "What do you need?" Damon finally inquired after he got his real kiss and not just a small peck.

Elena shot her boyfriend a nervous smile as the Gilbert girl knew Damon wouldn't be so agreeable once he knew what she wanted. "I...I need you to leave the house for at least a couple of hours," the Gilbert girl begged as she gave her boyfriend the sweetest puppy eyes that she could muster.

The Salvatore vampire immediately down at his girlfriend and her request. "Why?" Damon inquired as he tightened his hold on the Gilbert girl's waist.

"I want one uninterrupted night with Emmie," the Gilbert girl explained. "It's been so long since Emily and I had the chance to have a twin night without all of the vampire stuff in the way," Elena uttered with a small pout before she stated, "I just want to have a normal night with my sister."

Damon released a heavy breath as he shook his head. "I don't like the idea of leaving you alone," the Salvatore vampire told his girlfriend.

"I won't be alone!" The Gilbert girl quickly promised. "Besides, Emmie is a badass witch now," the human girl joked before Elena grew serious as she assured her boyfriend, "you know she can protect me if anything happens."

Damon absolutely hated the idea of leaving Elena's side - especially since she came back from the dead. The Salvatore vampire didn't even like letting Elena shower alone. Damon knew he was probably going overboard but he just felt very protective over his girl.

However, Damon did know Emily would never let anything happen to Elena. He knew Emily would die trying to protect Elena and that thought was what calmed the Salvatore vampire down to agree. "Fine," Damon mumbled before he ordered as he stared deeply into his girlfriend's brown eyes, "if something happens, I want you to call me right away."

"I will!" Elena hurriedly promised before the Gilbert girl excitedly pecked her boyfriend's lips. "Thank you! Thank you!" The Gilbert girl happily praised Damon.

The Salvatore vampire released a light and amused chuckle before a thought popped into his head. "Where am I supposed to go while you guys are having your fun?" Damon curiously inquired.

"I'm sure Ric would love to meet up for a drink," the Gilbert girl suggested with a slight shrug of her shoulders.

Damon rolled his blue eyes before he muttered, "Ric is always up Jenna's ass."

"Hey!" The Gilbert girl exclaimed as she slapped the Salvatore vampire's chest with the back of her hand. "He's just in love," Elena defended her aunt's boyfriend.

"Go," the Gilbert girl ordered as she pushed her palms onto Damon's chest. "I'm sure Jenna would love it if you took Ric out for a bit," Elena uttered to convince her boyfriend to meet up with the vampire hunter.

"Fine," the Salvatore vampire muttered in agreement. Damon definitely wouldn't have done this for anyone but he wanted his girlfriend to be happy, so Damon guessed he would hang out with Alaric. Damon pointed his finger at his girlfriend as he stated, "if he annoys me too much, I'm coming right home."

Elena giggled as she thought it was usually the opposite, Damon annoying Alaric, so it was quite amusing to see the Salvatore vampire complaining.

"That's okay with me," the Gilbert girl agreed as she walked a few steps towards her boyfriend. Elena pulled the Salvatore vampire into a sweet kiss before she pulled away with a grin. "Have fun," the human girl teased her boyfriend.

Damon playfully rolled his blue eyes at his girlfriend. "Yeah, yeah, yeah," the Salvatore vampire muttered as he tightened his hold onto Elena's waist before he pulled her into one last kiss. Damon slowly pulled away from the human girl's lips before he ordered with a hint of worry in his gaze, "be careful, alright?"

"I will," Elena quickly promised to ease her boyfriend's anxiousness. The Gilbert girl shot Damon a grin as she pushed onto his chest before Elena ordered, "now go. I have a twin night to have."

Damon raised up his hands in innocence as he muttered, "I'm going. I'm going." The Salvatore vampire turned around and headed towards the foyer to leave the boarding house like he promised. Damon only stopped to grab his car keys from the small glass bowl. "Love you!" The Salvatore vampire called out before he opened the door.

"I love you, too," the Gilbert girl softly told Damon as she followed the Salvatore vampire to the front door. Elena waited until Damon was off the porch before she closed the door and headed up the staircase to go find the Radkova witch.

Elena knew her twin sister was around the Salvatore boarding house somewhere because she had asked Emily if she had any plans today before she and Damon left earlier and Emily told her that she was staying in.

The Gilbert girl checked inside of Stefan's bedroom and found it empty before Elena went across the hall to her sister's bedroom at the Salvatore boarding house. Elena softly knocked her fist on the hard piece of wood before she slowly opened the door incase Emily was changing.

The human Petrova doppelganger quietly chuckled when she found Emily lying in bed and staring up at the ceiling. Elena leaned the side of her body against the doorframe before she curiously inquired in amusement, "what are you up to?"

The Radkova witch immediately sat up and moved to the edge of the bed when she noticed her sister in the doorway. "Nothing," Emily responded with a light shrug of her shoulders, "I was just thinking about what I'm gonna make for dinner."

It was a lie.

Emily was really thinking about her missing boyfriend. The Radkova witch had been worrying about Stefan all day. Emily had a bad feeling for hours now and Emily was thinking about contacting the younger Salvatore through the private message spell and to check up on his well-being right before Elena walked in.

The Gilbert girl widely grinned when she heard what Emily was doing. "Good thing I brought dinner, then," Elena stated.

"What did you get?" Emily curiously wondered. While the Radkova witch did lie about what she was doing, Emily would never turn down free food.

"Only the best Italian food in all of Mystic Falls," Elena exclaimed.

Emily's green eyes quickly widened and her mouth watered at her sister's words. "You mean Angelo's?" The Radkova witch asked with a hint of pleading in her voice. Emily really really hoped it was food from Angelo's restaurant. It was her and Elena's favorite place in their small town.

Grayson, their father, had been best friends with the owner during high school. Angelo really appreciated Grayson's friendship, so anytime any of the Gilbert siblings (mostly Emily and Elena) came into his restaurant, Angelo would always give them a discount.

"Just the one!" The human Gilbert girl murmured with a wide grin still plastered on her face.

"Well, what are we waiting for, then?" The Radkova witch excitedly exclaimed before she quickly jumped up from her bed. Emily practically sped out of her bedroom with a giggling Elena following her from behind at the thought of food from Angelo's restaurant.

The Radkova witch followed the smell of parmesan and freshly made tomato sauce before Emily found the familiar brown paper bags on the glass coffee table. "Where's Dam?" The green eyed girl curiously asked as she began to pull the takeout boxes from the bag and placed them on the coffee table.

"I asked him to leave for a few hours, so we can have twin night," Elena explained with a proud and wide smile on her face.

"Oh, really?" The Radkova witch inquired in surprise as Emily raised up her right eyebrow at her sister. "How did you swing that?" Emily asked with a light chuckle. Emily knew Damon absolutely hated leaving the house unless he had to, so she was curious how Elena got him to leave for the night.

Elena released a light chuckle before she explained, "I convinced him to go hang out with Ric." The Gilbert girl lightly shrugged her shoulders as she stated, "it's not the whole night but at least we will have a few hours together."

"I think that's the best we're going to get," the Radkova witch joked.

Emily honestly couldn't even remember the last time that she and Elena got the chance to hang out by themselves without a vampire present in the room. Emily understood that it was difficult to have a calm night in their lives but Emily was really happy to have this moment with her twin again.

"Well, let's make the most of our time together, then," the Gilbert girl exclaimed with an excited grin. "First things first is food and drinks!" Elena stated as she clapped her hands together.

A smirk slowly graced the Radkova witch's face before she asked, "ooh, drinks you say?"

Elena moved from her spot in front of the coffee table and walked over to the loveseat, where she had dropped off the plastic bags when she and Damon first arrived at the boarding house. "It's no whiskey," Elena commented as she grabbed a bottle from one of the bags before she vowed, "but it's good."

Emily released a loud groan at that piece of information before she whined, "Lena!" The Radkova witch had gotten so used to drinking whiskey over the last year since practically every vampire she knows drinks it, so Emily wasn't exactly thrilled to see what Elena brought for them to drink.

"It's red wine," the Gilbert girl shouted from the kitchen as she opened the wine with a bottle opener. Emily grabbed the bottle and two glasses before she headed back into the living room. "I'm sure it won't kill you to drink something different," Elena joked as she placed a glass in front of her twin.

"It might," the Radkova witch joked back before she watched in distain as Elena carefully poured the ruby red liquid into her wine glass.

Elena poured some wine in her glass before she placed the bottle down in the middle of the glass coffee table. "Just give it a try," the brunette girl begged her twin sister as Elena placed a pillow down on the hardwood flooring before she sat on top of it.

"Fine," Emily mumbled in defeat before the Radkova witch brought the glass to her lips and took a small sip of the red wine. Emily swirled it around in her mouth for a second before she swallowed the wine. The Gilbert girl's green eyes slightly widened when she was suddenly hit with a yummy tart and sweet flavor.

"Well?" The Gilbert girl asked with a wide grin as she waited for Emily to give her her verdict.

"I'll give it to you," the Radkova witch uttered with a slight shrug before she stated, "it's pretty good."

"Yay!" Elena loudly cheered as she threw her arms up in the air.

Emily chuckled in amusement as she watched Elena with a soft smile. Emily knew she would forever have a sweet spot for Elena. It was like anything she did made Emily soften for her. "I'll stick to my whiskey, though," the Gilbert girl informed her twin sister after a moment with a playful smirk.

The Gilbert girl pouted across at her witch twin sister. "Alright," Elena mumbled with a frown before she happily murmured, "at least I know you are willing to drink something other than boring old whiskey all the time!" Elena felt very successful to know that Emily wasn't dead set on whiskey like her boyfriend.

Emily playfully rolled her green eyes at her sister's excitement. "Yeah, yeah, yeah," the Radkova witch muttered as she carelessly waved her hand before she ordered, "let's eat before it gets cold."

Elena couldn't help but giggle with a wide smile on her face as she witnessed her twin sister's pouty attitude in person. It made Elena feel so happy to be here in the real world with her other half again. They both went threw hell and back these past few months, so it felt like a dream come true for Elena to be in this moment with her number one person in her life.

"Let's see what we got," Emily mumbled to herself as she opened up the first takeout box. "Chicken parm," the Gilbert girl uttered after she looked into the box before she moved her gaze over to her twin sister. "We all know whos meal this is," Emily teased the human girl.

"Hey!" Elena exclaimed with a pout before she swiftly grabbed the box from Emily's hands. "It's a classic for a reason," the Gilbert girl whined.

The Radkova witch released an amused chuckle before she teasingly uttered, "sure it is, Lena."

While Elena continued to complain and whine about her sister's teasing over her choice in Italian food, Emily only giggled before she opened the other takeout box. Emily's green eyes widened when she saw that it was butternut squash tortellaci, her favorite meal at Angelo's.

"Aw!" Emily cooed as she looked across at her twin sister before she exclaimed with a large grin on her face, "you got my favorite!"

The human Petrova doppelganger rolled her brown eyes but that didn't stop Elena from feeling the deep blush rising on her cheeks from Emily's praise. "Duh," Elena mumbled as she avoided her twin's gaze, "of course I did."

Emily giggled in amusement at the way Elena was trying to push away her playful praise. The green eyed girl always found it cute and adorable when Elena would do that. Emily usually would tease her twin but she decided to let it go this time around. Elena was barely back, so Emily figured she would give her twin a break for now.

The Gilbert twins soon began to eat their Italian food and drank their wine in a comfortable silence in the Salvatore living room. They didn't need any sort of conversation between them as they felt comfortable and in content with one another. They were both just so happy to be reunited again.

Emily hadn't felt this much happiness in a long time ever since she got Elena back over a week ago. She had missed having Elena in her life for months, so Emily was very thankful to have her back with her. Emily still felt like she was dreaming half the time when she would see Elena in the kitchen or at the Gilbert house. It was just a dream come true for the Radkova witch.

The human Gilbert twin had the same thoughts as her sister. Elena had missed her family, her friends, and her boyfriend so much. However, most importantly, Elena missed her twin sister the most. Elena missed going to Emily when she was sad or when she was bored. Elena missed it so much when she was stuck on the other side. The Gilbert girl spent so many hours just wishing she could talk and cuddle with her other half, so Elena felt so happy that she could experience this again.

The Gilbert twins were more than halfway through their Italian food when the newly human girl looked over to the Radkova witch, who was pouring more wine into their glasses, as a thought came to mind.

"Any word about Stefan yet?" Elena curiously asked.

Elena kept her worries to herself since she knew her twin had to worse since it's Emily's boyfriend but Elena was still quite worried for the younger Salvatore. The Gilbert girl was afraid for Stefan. She knew how horrible of a person Klaus from experience and from stories. Elena didn't even want to think what the hybrid is making Stefan do.

Emily released a heavy sigh as she slowly shook his head. "Nothing," Emily mumbled with a deep frown on her face. "Damon says he's been looking for him," the Gilbert girl informed her twin before she commented, "but I don't think he's actually looking for him." Emily leaned back against the couch with a huff before she complained, "Damon hasn't even given me a clue if he knows where Stefan is."

Elena quickly moved to the other side of the coffee table when she noticed how down her twin sister felt. The human girl placed her palm over Emily's hand and gave it a slight squeeze. "I'm sure he just doesn't want to get your hopes us," Elena uttered as she defended her boyfriend.

"I just wish I knew something," the Radkova witch mumbled as she tossed her free hand in the air before she added, "anything."

"I'll talk to Damon about it in the morning," Elena promised her twin sister before she gave Emily's hand another short squeeze of comfort. "We can all work together to find Stefan," the Gilbert girl vowed.

"I hope so," Emily mumbled as she tossed her head back and stared up at the ceiling. "I just want Stefan back," the Radkova witch confessed with a heavy sigh.

Elena hated seeing her twin sister like this. The human girl regretted bringing up Stefan now since she was trying to have a fun night with Emily without all of the supernatural drama that is their lives. Elena wanted to bring back her sister's bright smile and laughter again.

Elena silently stroked her twin sister's hand with her thumb while the Gilbert girl tried to think of a way to bring Emily's happiness back. The human girl's brown eyes soon widened when she realized what they both needed. "Let's play dress up!" Elena exclaimed.

"Huh?" The Radkova witch mumbled in confusion as she sat up and looked over at her grinning twin.

Elena giggled at the witch's puzzlement. "You know, like we used to do when mom and dad would work late," the Gilbert girl reminded her sister from when they were younger, "we used to try on mom's dresses and high heels and do little fashion shows."

Emily released a light chuckle when she recalled the memories from their childhood. Miranda and Grayson, their parents, always worked late when Miranda had a big event for her charity, so Emily and Elena would get quite bored at home with Jeremy. The way the twins would entertain themselves was playing fashion show with their mom's clothes. It would always be one of Emily's favorite memories from her childhood.

"Who's clothes are we trying on?" The Radkova witch curiously wondered. "I don't think Damon's outfits will be very fashionable on us," Emily joked with a light chuckle.

Elena playfully rolled her brown eyes over at her twin sister. "You do know we have an attic filled with clothes from like every decade," the Gilbert girl reminded the witch.

Emily's green eyes quickly widened as she suddenly remembered. "Oh, yeah!" The Gilbert girl exclaimed as she slapped her hand onto Elena's knee. Emily honestly forgotten all about the clothing that the Salvatore family had saved up from over the years. It felt like such a long time ago since Emily been up in the attic for dresses from the last decade dance they attended.

"Let's go!" Elena excitedly exclaimed before she quickly stood up from the couch and held out her hand.

The Radkova witch released a small chuckle before she stood up from the couch and placed her palm into her sister's. Emily couldn't contain the wide smile on her face as Elena enthusiastically pulled her upstairs to the attic. Emily found it quite adorable how excited her twin was to play dress up.

"Here we are!" Elena exclaimed after she opened the attic door and flipped on the light switch. "Let the fashion begin!" The Gilbert girl stated as she held out her arms and twirled around in a circle in the middle of the room.

"Yes, ma'am," Emily murmured with an amused grin before she walked over to the rack of the clothing that was the closest to her.

"Ooh!" The Gilbert girl suddenly exclaimed after a few minutes had passed between them when she thought of an idea. "We should pick out dresses for each other!" Elena cheerfully suggested.

The Radkova witch glanced over her shoulder and over to Elena with a playful smirk on her face. "You up for a challenge?" Emily taunted her twin.

"Yes, I am!" The Gilbert girl confidently uttered before she quickly paused and glared over to her twin sister. "Just don't pick anything too crazy, though!" Elena begged as she pointed her point finger at the Radkova witch. Elena knew her twin was notorious for picking things that will embarrass her, so she was definitely worried about Emily's choices.

Emily giggled before she teasingly told her twin sister, "you'll just have to wait and see."

"Emmie!" The human Petrova doppelganger loudly whined before Elena mumbled in defeat, "I'm so going to regret this."

"We'll see," the Radkova witch uttered in a singing voice before she focused back on her rack of clothing with a light chuckle escaping her lips. Emily was only teasing her twin, though. Emily was going to pick Elena out something cute and something she knew Elena would like despite her words.

The Radkova witch carefully looked three different racks of dresses from over the decades before Emily found the perfect dress for her twin sister. It wasn't too wild but she knew Elena would look cute in the dress. It was a light blue floral swing dress from the nineteen fifties. The top part was solid blue with a sweetheart collar and the puffy skirt was covered with pink flowers.

Emily carefully took the dress off the rack before she turned around to find her twin sister. "I'm done!" The Radkova witch announced as she called out through the large attic.

"One sec!" The human Petrova doppelganger hurriedly begged from somewhere in the back of the room. Elena wanted the outfit to be absolutely perfect, even though she was sure Emily was picking out something wild and crazy. "Got it!" The Gilbert girl happily exclaimed when she spotted a gold nineteen twenties flapper dress.

"I wanna see!" The Radkova witch loudly whined as she headed to the sound of Elena's voice. Emily made sure to hide her pick behind her back as she approached her twin sister.

Elena couldn't help but widely smile at her twin when she saw the grin on Emily's face, just like she had hoped would come back after their saddened conversation about the younger Salvatore. It was all that Elena wanted. She could only hope that Emily's smile would stay on her face for the rest of the night.

"Okay, on the count of three, we show each other at the same time," Elena ordered her twin sister as she held her pick of a dress behind her back.

The Radkova witch silently nodded her head in agreement before the Gilbert twin sisters began to count together, "one... two... three!"

The eldest of the Gilbert twin sisters' green eyes quickly widened when she saw the beautiful dress that Elena picked for her. It was perfect. It looked as if it belonged to a member of the royal family. "Wow..." Emily mumbled as she switched dressed with Elena and carefully held the detailed twenties dress.

Meanwhile, the younger twin felt the exact same way about Emily's choice for her. "It's so pretty!" Elena gushed as she stared down at the floral dress. The Gilbert girl silently inspected the dress before she noticed a petticoat underneath the skirt. "Oh, this is going to be hell to put on," Elena mumbled with a deep frown.

The Radkova witch chuckled in amusement at Elena's whining. "I can solve that issue," Emily promise before she grabbed her sister's hand and pulled her over to the full body mirror. The young witch focused her mind on their dresses and their bodies before Emily uttered in incantation, "vide per speculum. Muta quod vides." [Look through the mirror. Change what you see].

The human Petrova doppelganger was in amazement as she watched as hers and Emily's clothes began to spin like a tornado before the dresses settled perfectly on their bodies. "I still can't believe you're actually a witch," Elena gushed as she happily twirled around in her new dress.

"I'm still trying to get used to it myself," Emily joked.

"Do another spell!" The human girl desperately begged Emily as Elena turned around to face her witch of a sister. "I wanna see it again!" Elena excitedly exclaimed as she was practically bouncing in her spot.

The Radkova witch couldn't help the loud and realistic giggle that escaped her lips. Emily found it so adorable how eager her twin sister was for her magical abilities. "Alright, okay," the young witch uttered to calm Elena down as she agreed to do another spell.

Emily turned around and focused her mind only on the decade dresses that surrounded her. Emily thought of the pieces of clothing dancing before she uttered an incantation, "veni ad vitam. Ostende mihi motum tuum." [Come to life. Show me your moves].

"Oh, my God!" Elena soon gasped after a few minutes of silence when she suddenly noticed the dresses fly off of the racks and begin to dance around her as if there was an actual human inside of the clothing. The Gilbert girl excitedly giggled as she twirled around and watched the dresses with a child-like expression on her face to show the happiness she felt.

The Radkova witch made sure the spell was strong enough before she turned around and faced Elena with a wide grin on her face. "So, what do you think?" Emily inquired as she raised her arms to her side.

"This is crazy and amazing and so cool!" The Gilbert girl gushed with her brown eyes shining with so much joy.

Emily's smile became even wider as she watched her twin sister. It felt so good for the young witch to see Elena's excitement and happiness pointed at her and for what she was doing. It made Emily even prouder to be a witch.

The Radkova witch held her right palm out as she lightly bowed before she teasingly inquired, "shall we join them?"

Elena giggled as she nodded her head. "Why of course!" The Gilbert girl exclaimed in her best posh accent before Elena placed her hand on top of the Radkova witch's palm.

There was absolutely no music playing in the attic, only the creaky sounds of the old Salvatore boarding house but neither of the twin sisters cared at the moment as Emily twirled Elena under her arm before they met together in the middle. The Gilbert sisters were all giggles and smiles as they danced around the moving dresses.

The dancing soon stopped, though, when the human one of the twin sisters accidentally tripped over a long wedding dress that was sliding by. Emily and Elena immediately fell down to the ground together since they were holding hands before the dresses soon followed.

The Gilbert twins instantly break out into giggles as they laid side by side in their decade dresses on the wooden flooring. It took a few minutes for the human and the witch to calm down from their laughing. It only lasted for a few seconds before Elena released a loud gasp as she quickly sat up. "We need makeup to complete out outfits!" Elena exclaimed as she grabbed her sister's arm.

Emily lightly chuckled in amusement at her sister's excitement but she didn't tease her. Instead, Emily nodded her head and murmured, "good idea."

The Radkova witch stood up from the ground before she grabbed Elena's hands to help her stand up as well. Emily released her sister's hands before she looked around the attic and at all of the dresses on the floor. "You can clean up this mess while I'll get the makeup," Emily stated with a smirk on her face.

Elena immediately pouted as she looked at the huge mess around her. "But it wasn't my fault!" The Gilbert girl whined as she threw her hands up in the air like a child throwing a tantrum.

The Radkova witch carelessly shrugged her shoulders with a smirk glued to her lips. "You were the one who wanted to see some magic," Emily teasingly reminded her twin sister.

"Emmie!" The Gilbert girl childishly whined as she glared over at her twin sister. "I didn't know it would be this," Elena mumbled with a pout. Elena loudly groaned as she threw her head back before she mumbled when she knew she wasn't going to get out of this, "fine, I'll do it."

The Radkova witch chuckled at Elena's annoyance before she teasingly waved her hand. "Have fun," Emily murmured with a smirk before she stepped over the mess of dresses and headed out of the attic to grab her collection of makeup.

Emily walked down to the second layer of the Salvatore boarding house before she made her way down the hallway of bedrooms. However, the Gilbert girl soon frowned when she grew closer to her room and Emily noticed a huge monster-like shadow through the small crack of her bedroom door.

This has been happening all week but it was still like nothing Emily has even seen. The shadow looked like an angry bear or a fully grown werewolf. Emily had the same feeling in the pit of her stomach that the shadow was something dangerous but the Radkova witch couldn't stop herself from pushing open the door and walking towards the shadow.

It was as if Emily was in a trance as she slowly approached the shadow with an empty gaze in her green eyes. The Gilbert girl walked until she was standing directly in front of the monster-like shadow. It looked like the dark figure was staring right at her.

Emily didn't know what came over her as she slowly brought her hand up to the face of the monster. The young witch could feel her heart pounding in her chest when she noticed the monster of a shadow was quickly growing angry. Emily could of swore she could hear the sound of heavy breathing against her ear.

The Radkova witch was only pulled out of her trance when she felt a hand on her shoulder. Emily flinched before she quickly turned around and saw her twin sister. Emily forced her body to relax as she looked at Elena and not a monster.

"Are you okay?" The human girl worriedly asked her twin sister. Elena glanced around the young witch's room with her brows furrowed as she inquired, "what were you looking at?"

Emily quickly glanced back over to where the monster shadow had been before she slightly frowned when the young witch saw that there was no figure and it was a plain wall in front of her. The Gilbert girl took a deep breath to calm herself before she turned around to face Elena with a fake smile.

"I'm fine," Emily assured her twin sister she carelessly waved her hand. "I was just trying to remember where I put my makeup," the Radkova witch lied before she headed over to her closet. Emily grabbed the lavender bag from the corner of her closet before she faced her sister with a grin. "Got it!" The Gilbert girl exclaimed as she shook the bag of makeup in front of her.

Elena furrowed her brows as she stared across at her twin sister. "Are you sure you're okay?" The Gilbert girl egged on in worry. Elena had never seen her sister space out that badly, so she was, of course, concerned for Emily.

"I'm fine," Emily quickly promised with a light chuckle as she brushed off her sister's concern. "Now, come on," the Radkova witch ordered as she waved her hand before she walked out of her bedroom. "I know exactly what I want to do with your makeup," Emily teased as she looked over her shoulder and shot her sister a playful smirk.

Elena released a loud groan before she followed her sister into the hallway. "Please don't make me look like a clown," the Gilbert girl desperately begged as she jogged to catch up with Emily.

While the Radkova witch giggled at Elena and her complaining, Emily silently felt relieved that the human girl stopped questioning her about her strange behavior. Emily absolutely detested lying to her twin sister, so she was glad they weren't focused on her anymore.

Emily cursed herself for not being more careful. The Radkova witch's repercussions from the heart resurrection spell had been happening at least once a day, so Emily knew she needed to learn to hide these little episodes better. The last thing Emily wanted was for people to start to worry about her or treat her like a child.

The Radkova witch just hoped that she could get a handle on her nightmares and hallucinations sooner rather than later. Emily did not want to worry about herself right now when she just wanted to bring Stefan back home.
