Unluckily for the Radkova witch, Tyler had been right on the money when he said the Forbes vampire would come to find Emily for her and Elena's birthday party. Caroline had to practically pull Emily out of the Lockwood mansion (with Tyler following closely behind) before she brought Emily to the Salvatore boarding house and told the Radkova witch to stay upstairs until it was time.

Emily had whined and complained to a very amused Lockwood werewolf for a good thirty minutes before she finally accepted her fate. The Radkova witch was now currently painting Tyler's fingernails lime green after she gave him a look of her puppy dog eyes.

The Lockwood werewolf could never find it in himself to say no to Emily or deny anything she wanted, so Tyler agreed to let Emily pain his nails. Tyler figured this way, the Gilbert girl wouldn't be too worked up about the party.

"This better not stand out," the Lockwood werewolf muttered under his breath when he saw how bright the nail polish was against his tan skin.

Emily released a soft giggle as she shook her head. "That's the point," the Radkova witch joked with a smirk. Emily shot the Lockwood werewolf a small smile after Tyler rolled his eyes before she grew serious as she assure the wolf, "it's going to look great, I promise."

Tyler pointed his green colored finger at the Gilbert girl before he warned Emily, "If I hear shit from anyone and I have to hit someone, it's on you."

The Radkova witch let out an amused chuckle as she grinned across her best friend. "Do what you gotta do," Emily uttered as she raised her hands up in innocence.

The Lockwood werewolf shook his head with a small grin playing across his lips. "You're lucky you're cute," Tyler murmured.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Emily mumbled as she purposely tried to ignore the Lockwood werewolf's flirty compliment. "There!" The Gilbert girl exclaimed once she finished painting Tyler's pinky, "you're all set!"

Tyler brought his hands up to his face before he looked down at his bright green painted nails. The Lockwood werewolf lightly shrugged his shoulders before he mumbled, "they don't look too bad."

Emily widely grinned across at the Lockwood werewolf as she was glad that Tyler liked them. "Good," the Radkova witch murmured before she told the werewolf with a playful smirk on her face, "show them off proudly."

"I don't know about all of that now," Tyler muttered as he shook his head.

"Oh, come on!" Emily exclaimed as she lightly slapped the werewolf's thigh before she added, "they look cute!"

The Lockwood werewolf looked across at Emily with a wide smirk spread across his lips. "Are you saying I'm cute?" Tyler teasingly asked the witch.

Emily was thankfully saved from having to answer the werewolf's flirting when there was suddenly a loud knock on the bedroom door. "Give me a sec," The Radkova witch told Tyler before she jumped up from the bed and headed over to the entrance.

Emily placed the bottle of lime green nail polish on the dresser before she opened the door. The Gilbert girl immediately whined when she saw it was her aunt Jenna. "Please don't tell me you are here to drag me downstairs," Emily desperately begged.

Jenna playfully rolled her hazel eyes at her niece before she walked further into the bedroom. "No, not yet," the Sommers vampire stated before she turned her gaze over to the Lockwood werewolf. "Do you mind if I have a few minutes alone with the birthday girl?" Jenna inquired.

Tyler quickly nodded his head. "Yeah, of course," the Lockwood werewolf murmured as he stood up from the queen sized bed.

Tyler walked until he was standing in front of the Radkova witch. The Lockwood werewolf carefully (to not mess up his freshly painted nails) grabbed Emily's hand before he began rubbing his thumb across her warm skin.

"I'll be in the living room," Tyler stated before he reminded the Gilbert girl, "just look for me if the party gets too much for you."

Emily shot the Lockwood werewolf a thankful smile. "Thank you," the Radkova witch murmured as she gave Tyler's hand a light squeeze.

Emily was honestly really thankful to know Tyler would have her back all night. The Gilbert girl knew she might have some issues relaxing when her mind was constantly in overdrive with worrying for her boyfriend, so Emily was glad to know Tyler would be ready for an escape plan when the party got too crazy for her.

The Radkova witch waited until Tyler closed the door behind him before Emily turned around and put all of her attention onto her aunt. Emily rose an eyebrow when she finally noticed the two boxes in her aunt's hands - a small one and a medium sized one.

"What's that?" Emily curiously asked as she pointed towards the two boxes.

"It's just a little something something for you," Jenna murmured with a wide grin spread across her lips.

The Gilbert girl couldn't help but smile brightly back at her aunt. Emily wasn't exactly in the mood to celebrate with a birthday party when her life wasn't exactly where she wished it was with Stefan not by her side. However, birthday presents was certainly one way to boost up Emily's spirits.

"Ooh!" Emily cooed in excitement as she rubbed her palms together. "What did you get me?" The Gilbert girl asked her aunt.

Jenna softly chuckled at her niece's child-like happiness. "Take a look for yourself," the Sommers vampire murmured before she handed Emily the larger of the two boxes.

"Don't have to tell me twice," Emily uttered with a playful grin as she accepted the box from her aunt. The Gilbert girl place the purple and pink stripped box on her bed before Emily slowly raised the lid off.

Emily removed the top layer of wrapping paper out of the way before she found a piece of clothing inside. The Radkova witch lifted it up from the box before Emily found a deep green silk dress. "Oh, wow," Emily gasped as she gazed down at the knee length dress.

"Do you like it?" The Sommers woman nervously asked. "I wanted to get you and Elena something similar but I know you guys like different things, so I tried to match the dresses as much as I could," Jenna rambled at super speed.

Emily giggled when she noticed that her aunt was worried she wouldn't like her gift. "It's beautiful," the Gilbert girl assured her aunt before she added as she shot the Sommers vampire a soft smile, "and I'm sure it matches perfectly with Lena's dress."

A wide smile immediately pulled on Jenna's lips. "Oh, I'm so glad you like it!" The Sommers vampire cheered before Jenna used her enhanced speed to pull Emily into a tight embrace.

"Oof!" The Radkova witch gasped in surprise as she wasn't expecting her aunt's hug to be so quickly and so powerful. "I may be a witch but I don't have super strength," Emily reminded the Sommers vampire with a grunt.

"Oh, right!" Jenna gasped as she swiftly released her niece from her tight embrace. "I'm so sorry!" The Sommers vampire hurriedly apologized.

The Radkova witch softly chuckled in amusement. "It's okay," Emily assured her aunt with a light wave of her hand. Emily figured her aunt was still trying to get control of her strength but she didn't mind. Emily had gone through way worse in the past from vampires than just a tight hug.

Jenna released a breath of relief as she glad that she didn't hurt her niece. The Sommers vampire quickly focused back on the gift that Emily was holding. "Now, go put your dress on!" Jenna ordered as she clapped her hands together. "You have a party full of people to impress!" Jenna exclaimed with a grin.

Emily released a loud groan at the thought of the party going on downstairs. It wasn't exactly on the top of things the Gilbert girl wanted to do today. "If I must," Emily muttered as she jokingly rolled her green eyes.

"Yes, you do," the Sommers vampire exclaimed as she began pushing Emily towards the door.

"Alright, alright," the Radkova witch mumbled as she finally used her own feet instead of having the Sommers vampire push her. "I'll be right back," Emily promised before she headed out of her bedroom.

The Gilbert girl walked down the hallway towards the bathroom that was between her and Stefan's bedrooms. Emily closed and locked the door behind her before Emily placed the green silk dress on top of the sink counter.

The Radkova witch took off her red v-neck and tossed it into the laundry basket before Emily slipped off her black leggings as well. The Gilbert girl grabbed the Sommers vampire's gift before Emily slipped the silk dress over her body.

Emily took a few steps away from the counter to get a good look at her new dress. A grin quickly worked itself on Emily's face when she saw how well her gift looked on her. It was a really beautiful dress. Emily loved the color and she loved how light it felt against her body, especially for the summer weather in Mystic Falls.

The Gilbert girl quickly ran a hairbrush through her brunette hair to make it look more presentable for the party before Emily headed back to her bedroom.

"It looks great!" The Sommers vampire exclaimed with a wide grin as soon as Emily walked into the room. Jenna walked up to her niece with a pair of white Vans in her hands. "I found these in your closet," Jenna stated before she commented with a light shrug, "I figured you wouldn't want to wear hells all night."

Emily released a heavy sigh of relief when her aunt wasn't making her get completely dressed up with high heels. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" The Radkova witch praised the Sommers vampire as she accepted the pair of shoes.

Emily wasn't sure if she would have been able to survive the party without hurting someone if she had to wear high heels for hours on end.

Jenna lightly chuckled in amusement as she watched her niece slip on the comfortable shoes. The Sommers vampire always found it humorous when the eldest Gilbert sibling would complain over something so simple like shoes. It made Jenna remember that Emily was still a little kid at heart.

The Radkova witch stood up straight once she finished putting on her shoes. "How do I look?" Emily inquired as she twirled around in a circle with her emerald green dress flowing around her.

"Like a princess," Jenna murmured as she stared at her niece with a proud smile.

"I have one last thing to complete your look," the Sommers vampire added as she grabbed the small box from the queen sized bed before Jenna held out the gift to her niece.

Emily curiously accepted the small box from her aunt before she took off the lid. The Gilbert girl found a small jewelry velvet container inside. Emily took out the container before she placed the stripped box down on her vanity table.

The Gilbert girl carefully opened up the velvet container before Emily gasped when she recognized the piece of jewelry inside. "No way," the young witch murmured as she slowly took the ring out of the container.

"You aren't dreaming," Jenna jokingly uttered with a light chuckle as she watched the happiness slowly rise onto her niece's face.

"I can't believe it," the Gilbert girl whispered as she gazed lovingly down at the ring that belonged to her great-great-grandmother Mary.

Emily had always wanted to have the wedding ring since she was a little girl. The Radkova witch could recall how her mother used to wear the ring when she was still alive and Emily had always adored it so much.

"I did promise I would give it to you on your eighteenth birthday," Jenna reminded her niece.

Emily's green eyes slightly widened as she looked over at her aunt when she remembered what Jenna was talking about. "I forgot all about that," the Radkova witch mumbled before she commented, "it feels like so long ago since that day."

It was no surprise that Emily forgot about her aunt's promise. It was back then during the Founders' party and heritage display at the Lockwood mansion. They didn't even know about vampires during that time. Emily's life had gotten so hectic since that party that the Gilbert girl forgot about receiving the ring for her birthday.

"Well, I'm glad I can still surprise you," the Sommers vampire murmured with a soft chuckle.

"You definitely did," Emily mumbled as she stared down at the ring between her thumb and point finger.

It was very rare for the Radkova witch to get surprised these days since Emily can get these feelings of knowing when something was going to happen. However, Emily definitely wasn't expecting this happy surprise.

"Well, put it on!" Jenna impatiently exclaimed as she waved her hand towards her niece, "let's see how it looks on you!"

The Radkova witch giggled at her aunt's excitement before Emily slowly slid the ring on the fourth finger on her right hand. Emily looked down at the ring on her hand with a soft smile as she murmured, "it looks just like it did when mom would wear it."

The Sommers vampire walked up to her niece before she placed a palm gently onto Emily's shoulder. "She would be proud of the woman you have become," Jenna softly told her niece.

"I hope so," the Gilbert girl mumbled as she stroked her thumb across the diamond that was placed beautifully in the center of the ring.

"I know so," Jenna immediately assured the young adult. "Miranda would have been so proud of how strong and brave you are," the Sommers vampire told her niece, "you have gone through a lot of stuff in this last year but you always find a way to walk out on top."

Jenna grasped the Radkova witch's shoulders to turn her around. The Sommers vampire smiled softly at her niece before she murmured, "I'm proud of you, too."

Emily smiled up at her aunt before she pulled the strawberry blonde into a tight embrace. "I'm glad you were the one who took care of us," the Gilbert girl murmured against her aunt's chest.

"Me too," Jenna whispered with a small smile playing on her lips before the Sommers vampire placed a gentle kiss on top of her niece's head.

The sweet moment between the witch and vampire duo was soon cut short when there was a knock on the bedroom door. Emily pulled away from her aunt's embrace before she walked over to the door. The Radkova witch opened it before Emily widely grinned when she found her twin sister on the other side wearing a cute turquoise silk dress.

"Well, look at you," the Radkova witch teasingly murmured as she stared at Elena with a small smirk playing on her lips.

Elena playfully rolled her brown eyes at her twin sister. "Happy birthday to you, too," the Gilbert girl sarcastically uttered before she pulled Emily into an embrace as a smile slowly worked it's way onto her lips.

The Radkova witch immediately smiled as she wrapped her arms around Elena's waist. Emily tightly hugged her twin sister back before she softly whispered, "I'm sorry I didn't remember what today is."

The Gilbert girl quickly lifted her head from Emily's temple at the witch's words before Elena looked down at her twin with a soft smile. "It's okay," Elena assured her sister, "I know how crazy things have been for you lately."

Elena didn't blame her twin sister at all. Hell, Elena had forgotten about their birthday for half the day until Jenna said something a few hours ago.

"I'm going to make it up to you," Emily swiftly promised to her twin sister, "pick a day and we can do whatever you want."

The Gilbert girl softly chuckled before she nodded her head. "Alright," Elena agreed to her twin sister's plan before she stated, "we can have a birthday re-do."

The Radkova witch widely grinned as she exclaimed, "yay!"

Emily was honestly just happy that Elena wasn't upset with her for forgetting their birthday. The Radkova witch already felt guilty, so she was glad that Elena wasn't holding it against her.

Emily felt better knowing her twin wasn't upset but the Radkova witch was still going to plan something extra special for her and Elena's do-over once they were both free from the chaos in their lives.

Elena softly chuckled at her twin sister and her huge plan of their birthday do-over. Elena completely understood why Emily forgot their birthday with the news about Stefan. The human girl didn't even need a do-over but Elena wouldn't mind having a relaxing twin night with her sister.

"You ready to have some fun?" Elena inquired as she pointed her thumb back towards the hallway once Elena remembered why she even came upstairs for. Elena knew they were only minutes away before the Forbes vampire would come searching for them.

The eldest Gilbert twin wanted nothing more than to say no and complain about the loud birthday party when she wasn't in the mood. However, the Radkova witch could see how happy Elena seemed to be and Emily didn't want to ruin that happiness with her stubbornness.

Instead, Emily placed a wide smile on her lips before she teasingly told her twin as Emily held out her arms, "why of course! We are the stars of the night, after all!"

Jenna and Elena both chuckled in amusement at the eldest Gilbert twin and her exaggeration display of happiness. Jenna knew her eldest niece felt the complete opposite. The Sommers vampire found it adorable how Emily cared more about Elena having fun than her own annoyance.

"We should get going, girls," Jenna murmured as she clapped her hands together. "Everyone is excited to see you guys!" The Sommers vampire exclaimed before she began to lead the twin sisters out into the hallway with a hand on each of their shoulders.

Emily took a deep breath as she walked right next to her twin with their aunt walking behind down the staircase. The Radkova witch felt a tinge of anxiety when Emily began to feel the pounding in her ears from the loud music ringing throughout the Salvatore boarding house.

It had been quite a long time since Emily had actually been at a normal party, so she was quite nervous to be at one without some an ulterior motive.

The Radkova witch silently reminded herself to smile and relax for once in her life. Emily knew the only supernatural beings here were her and her loved ones, so there was no danger appearing tonight. Emily knew the only thing she needed to do was to have fun and enjoy her and Elena's birthday.

The Sommers vampire and the Gilbert twins slowly made their way into the living room as they forced their way through all of the tipsy dancing teenagers. The trio had barely made it in the large area before Emily heard her name being called.

Emily quickly glanced around as she tried to locate who was calling her name before a grin immediately worked its way on the Radkova witch's face when she spotted Cheryl and Jason waving at her and Elena.

The Gilbert twins walked up to the Blossom twins, who were standing in front of the fireplace. "Hey!" Emily greeted the red-headed duo.

"Happy birthday, you guys!" Cheryl happily exclaimed as she wrapped her arms around both of the Gilbert twins' shoulders and pulled them into a tight embrace.

Elena softly chuckled as she pulled herself out of the Blossom girl's hug. Cheryl reminded the Gilbert girl so much of Caroline and her bright personality. Elena could see why her twin was friends with the Blossom girl.

Elena glanced between the Blossom twins a small smile before she praised the duo, "thank you for coming."

"Like we would miss a Caroline Forbes party," Jason joked before he slowly moved his gaze over to the eldest of the Gilbert sisters. The Blossom boy looked at Emily with a soft smile. "Happy birthday," Jason murmured before he pulled the brunette girl into a tight embrace.

Emily stood up on her tippy toes to wrap her arms around the taller teenager's neck while she felt Jason's arms slide around her waist. "Thanks," the Radkova witch praised Jason after she pulled away from their hug and she looked up at him with a wide grin.

Jason didn't respond back. He could only stare down at Emily with one of the biggest smiles on his face with having the brunette girl in his arms. Jason honestly missed being around Emily like used to do over a year ago.

The Blossom teenager wasn't sure what changed. It was like something took over Emily's life. Jason wished they could go back to that time when he got to hang out with Emily practically everyday.

Cheryl gave her brother his little moment with the eldest Gilbert twin before she loudly cleared her throat to get Jason to focus back on the real world.

"Oh! Right!" Jason exclaimed as he suddenly remembered something once he was knocked out of his Emily Gilbert trance. The Blossom boy reached into the pocket of his black slacks and pulled out two velvet containers, one was a cube and one was rectangular sized.

"This one is for you," the Blossom teenager stated as he handed Elena the cube shaped box before he turned towards Emily. "And this one is yours," Jason murmured as he handed the eldest Gilbert sister the rectangular box.

"It's just a little something for your guys' special day," Cheryl told the twins as a smile quickly stretched itself across Cheryl's ruby red lips.

Elena was the one to open her gift first. The human girl quickly gasped when she found a beautiful pair of diamond earrings inside of the velvet container.

"Oh, wow," Elena murmured before she moved her brown eyes over to the Blossom twins. "You guys really shouldn't have," the Gilbert girl uttered with a chuckle of disbelief.

Elena just knew these earrings cost a lot of money. The Gilbert girl had never even gotten a present this expensive during her entire childhood, so she couldn't imagine a friend spending this much money for her birthday.

Cheryl carelessly waved her hand. "It was nothing," the Blossom girl assured Elena. "Our family has too much money to know what to do with it," Cheryl joked before she stated with a grin, "I'm happy to put our money to good use."

The Gilbert girl softly chuckled before she pulled Cheryl into a tight embrace. "Thank you so much," Elena murmured to show her gratitude for her gift.

While the younger twins were hugging and chatting away, Jason looked over at Emily with his right eyebrow raised. "Are you gonna open yours?" The Blossom boy teased as his blue eyes flickered from Emily's gaze to the rectangular velvet container in her hands.

The Radkova witch playfully rolled her green eyes before she silently began to open her gift. "Oh, my," Emily immediately gasped when she spotted a diamond necklace with a single pearl placed in the center once she lifted the lid.

Elena and Cheryl both focused back on their twins when they heard the eldest Gilbert sister's gasp. "Jason, here, was the one to pick that out," Cheryl murmured with a grin as she placed her palm on her brother's shoulder.

Jason let out a shy laugh at his sister's confession. He was definitely going to get Cheryl back for that one later.

"It's your birthstone, right?" The Blossom boy asked the eldest Gilbert twin. Jason nervously rubbed the side of his neck as he murmured, "I thought you would like it."

"Yeah, it is," the Radkova witch answered Jason's question before she looked at the taller teenager with a wide smile shining across her lips. "It's beautiful," Emily complimented the gift, "I love it."

Jason's cheeks quickly glowed bright red across his pale skin as he looked down at the Gilbert girl with a soft smile. "I'm happy you like it," Jason murmured.

"We both are!" Cheryl jumped in as she shot the eldest Gilbert girl her own grin.

The Radkova witch quickly moved her gaze over to Cheryl as she remembered that she was to credit as well for the beautiful necklace. "Thank you, really," Emily praised the Blossom girl.

"Yeah," Elena agreed as she moved back to her original place next to her twin. "They are both such beautiful gifts," the human girl complimented.

"You're very welcome," Cheryl murmured with a bright smile. "We should let you guys go and enjoy the rest of your party," the Blossom girl quickly added when she realized that she and Jason had taken up enough of the birthday girls' time.

Elena nodded her head in agreement as she knew there was still a lot of people who she and Emily still needed to greet. "We'll see you guys in a few hours," the Gilbert girl told the Blossom twins before she jokingly added, "it's a big party."

The Radkova witch linked her arm through Elena's as she prepared herself from having to push her way through the packed out living room. "Have a drink and have fun," Emily told the Blossom twins with a grin before she went to lead Elena through the party.

However, before the Gilbert twins could take more than a few steps, Jason quickly called out the eldest girl's name. Emily turned around and looked at the Blossom boy with a raise of her eyebrow before she asked, "yeah?"

Jason took a few steps closer to the Gilbert twins with his blue eyes glued to the eldest girl. "Save me a dance?" The Blossom boy inquired with a wide smile stretched across his face.

Emily released a light chuckle before she nodded her head. "Of course," the Gilbert girl murmured in agreement. "It can be like old times," Emily joked.

Jason briefly bit down on his bottom lip before he murmured, "I'll be waiting."

"We'll see you guys later," Elena told the Blossom twins as she lightly waved her hand before the human girl began to pull Emily with her through the party.

Elena waited until the Blossom siblings were out of sight before the human girl looked over to Emily with a smirk. "You know he likes you, right?" The Gilbert girl teased.

Emily lightly slapped her sister's shoulder before she muttered with a pout, "shut up."

It wasn't news to Emily. She, of course, knew of Jason's crush on her. Hell, Emily had a crush on the Blossom boy for awhile when they were younger but that was way before Emily met the love of her life and fell for Stefan.

The Gilbert twins made their way around the Salvatore boarding house as they greeted all of their guests. Emily knew she practically saw all of these people everyday at school but it was still polite to say hello. It was something she and Elena learnt from their mother as children.

It was a good thirty minutes of having short conversations with people from class, the cheerleading team, and the football team before the Gilbert twins were finally saved. Jennie from choir had just walked away before the Kim girl was replaced by Damon holding two solo cups.

"You guys look like you need a drink," the Salvatore vampire murmured with a smirk before he handed the Gilbert twins each a drink.

"Thank God," the Radkova witch muttered as she happily accepter her first drink of the night. Emily and Elena had been so busy constantly greeting people that neither of them had the chance to stop and grab a drink.

"Thanks, babe," the human girl praised the Salvatore vampire as she wrapped her free arm around Damon's waist.

Damon placed a gentle kiss on top of his girlfriend's forehead before he focused his gaze onto Emily. "I put the good stuff in your drink," the Salvatore vampire mentioned as he nodded his head down towards the solo cup in the Radkova witch's hand. Damon rolled his blue eyes before he added, "you don't want any of that cheap shit that Barbie brought."

Emily lightly chuckled in amusement as she knew what the vampire meant. High school parties weren't exactly known from their tasty alcoholic drinks.

"I appreciate it," Emily murmured before she took her first sip of her drink. The Radkova witch immediately let out a groan when she tasted the woody bourbon with a hint of honey. "Yep, this is the good stuff," Emily happily sighed.

Elena playfully rolled her brown eyes as she watched her boyfriend and twin sister. "I'm sure drinking cheap alcohol wouldn't have killed you," the human girl mused.

"It may not have killed her but the hangover would have," Damon informed his girlfriend.

"Exactly!" Emily exclaimed as she pointed her finger towards the Salvatore vampire. It was like Damon was the only one who understood the issues with drinking low quality alcohol. "This way, I won't be up all night with my head in the toilet," Emily joked.

Elena light chuckled as she shook her head in amusement. "You guys take drinking way to seriously," the Gilbert girl commented.

"It's an art," Damon murmured with a smirk before the Salvatore vampire tipped his girlfriend's head and pulled her into a slow kiss.

The Radkova witch silently turned her back to the vampire and human couple to give Elena and Damon some times to themselves while Emily gazed around the party.

Emily could see people from every single sport, group, and extra curricular activities that Mystic Falls High School had to offer. The Radkova witch was honestly surprised that so many people fit in one house.

The Gilbert girl just knew if Caroline wasn't the daughter of the sheriff, then the police would have definitely been called for the loud music and teenagers - even though the closest neighbor to the Salvatore boarding house was at least a twelve minute walk. The party was that loud.

Emily finished off her drink before she turned around to face her twin sister and her sister's boyfriend. The Radkova witch widely smirked at Damon as she handed him her empty solo cup to show that she needed a refill.

The Salvatore vampire rolled his blue eyes at the young witch before Damon turned around and grabbed the first teenager he could reach. Damon stared into the human boy's brown eyes before he compelled him, "go down the hall to the first room on the left. You will pour the alcohol from the blue bottle and bring it right back to me."

"I'll bring it right back to you," the human teenager repeated in a monotone voice as he accepted the empty red solo cup before the human turned around to do what the Salvatore vampire compelled him to do.

"Damon!" The human Gilbert girl shouted in a whisper as she scolded Damon with a glare.

The Salvatore vampire lightly chuckled before he innocently looked down at his girlfriend. "What?" Damon asked before he teasingly murmured, "I was just doing what Princess wanted."

The Radkova witch lightly chuckled as she watched her twin sister pout up at Damon while he tickled her sides. It was a very cute interaction between the couple. It made Emily miss her own boyfriend and having moments like this.

The thought of Stefan made the Radkova witch remember what the main focus of today was - other than her and Elena's birthday. Emily completely forgot about the whole Memphis lead since Caroline dragged her to the Salvatore boarding house. Emily knew they were at a party right now but she needed to know.

The Radkova witch lost her smile as she grew serious before she asked Damon, "what did you guys find in Memphis? Did you find any signs of Klaus and Stefan being there?"

Emily really just wanted to know what the two vampires and the vampire hunter found when they were in Memphis since she wasn't allowed to go this morning. Emily was curious why none of the trio had mentioned anything yet.

The only thing that the Radkova witch could guess what happened today was that they couldn't locate Stefan in Memphis or he would be by her side right now.

The Salvatore vampire let out a tsk as he waved his point finger back and forth in front of his face. "Nope," Damon muttered as he completely shut down the young witch's questioning. "We aren't talking about that at your birthday party," Damon stated.

"You are supposed to be having fun," the Salvatore vampire reminded the brunette girl. Damon widely smirked before he added, "the chaos that is our lives can wait until tomorrow."

Emily rolled her green eyes at the Salvatore vampire but she knew he was right. The brunette girl would never admit that, though.

The Radkova witch knew her and Elena's birthday party, which was filled with nothing but humans wasn't the right place to talk about their Klaus issue.

Emily had promised that she was going to try to relax and enjoy the party earlier today. The Radkova witch just knew whatever Damon found in Memphis was just going to stress her out and Emily didn't need to feel that way right now.

"Fine," Emily huffed out before she pointed her finger at the Salvatore vampire. "But as soon as it's not our birthday anymore, you're telling everything you guys found," the Radkova witch ordered with a glare to her green eyes.

Damon innocently raised up both of his hands with a wide smirk stretched across his face. "You got yourself a deal," the Salvatore vampire vowed.

The Radkova witch silently nodded her head as Emily knew that was the best option she was going to get right now. Emily really wanted to know what the two vampires and the vampire hunter found in Memphis but Emily guessed she would have to wait a few more hours until midnight as she knew just how stubborn the Salvatore vampire could be.

"Perfect timing," Damon muttered when he noticed the compelled teenager walking towards them. The Salvatore vampire grabbed the red solo cup from the human. "Now go away," Damon muttered as he carelessly waved his hand at the boy.

The Gilbert twins lightly chuckled at Damon's action before Emily accepted the drink from the Salvatore vampire. "Thanks for the refill," Emily joked before she took a heavy gulp of the smooth liquor.

The Radkova witch had just pulled the solo cup from her lips when Emily suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap tightly around her waist. Emily quickly turned around when she didn't know who was touching her. However, Emily soon relaxed and let out a chuckle when she saw a grinning Forbes vampire in front of her.

Caroline grinned at both of the Gilbert twins before she widely held her arms out. "Well? What do you guys think?" The Forbes vampire inquired.

"It's great, Care," the human girl complimented the vampire with a smile playing on her lips, "you did an amazing job pulling this all together."

The Forbes vampire widely grinned at Elena as she accepted the praise before Caroline turned her attention on the eldest Gilbert twin. "Emmie? What do you think?" Caroline anxiously asked the Radkova witch.

Caroline cared a lot of what Emily thought. The Forbes vampire knew it sounded stupid but she trusted Emily's opinion over everyone else, especially when Emily was half the reason for the party.

Besides, Caroline knew that the Radkova witch wasn't exactly having the best of days from what she heard from Tyler and Caroline wanted the party to be the reason why Emily was smiling and having fun again.

"I'm not surprised how crazy this party already is," Emily joked with a chuckle. The Radkova witch grinned across at her best friend before she added, "it's definitely on the top five of the best Caroline Forbes' Party list."

Emily wasn't exactly in the partying mood with her mind scrambled of thoughts of Stefan but she could definitely appreciate a good party when she saw one. The Radkova witch just knew their fellow classmates would be raving about it for weeks.

"Yay!" The Forbes vampire happily cheered as she jumped up and down. "I'm so glad you guys like it!" Caroline exclaimed before she quickly pulled the Gilbert twins into a tight embrace to express her happiness.

The Radkova witch lightly chuckled as she wrapped her left arm around Caroline's waist to hug her best friend back.

Emily honestly felt very grateful towards the Forbes vampire for throwing this party for her and Elena on their birthday. Miranda, their mother, used to be the one to plan a huge parties for them, so Emily was happy that Caroline was continuing the tradition.

"Thank you for doing this for us," Elena praised the Forbes vampire as if she had just read Emily's own thoughts.

Caroline carelessly waved her hand before she exclaimed, "of course! You know I had to go all out for your guys' special day!"

The Forbes vampire clapped her palms together before she stated with a wide grin, "now, it's time for you guys to have some fun!" Caroline didn't give the twin sisters an option as she quickly grabbed Emily and Elena's hands before she pulled them towards the makeshift dancefloor with Damon following slowly behind.

Even though the Radkova witch wasn't in the partying mood in the beginning of tonight, Emily couldn't help smile out of happiness as she watched Elena and Damon dancing, Tyler and Jeremy joking on the couch, and Bonnie with Caroline bouncing around to the music.

This was all Emily really needed, she just needed to be surrounded by her loved ones. It was always a sure way to keep the Radkova witch calm and relaxed with how crazy their lives were. Emily's world was in no way perfect but in this moment, the Gilbert girl felt like it was with the happiness she felt from being with her friends and family to celebrate her and Elena's birthday.
