It was the next day after the Lockwood's potluck, where Emily and Bonnie realized something bad was on its way to Mystic Falls.

While the Bennett witch was focused on building up her magic to prepare herself for whatever was coming, Emily was still trying to find out more about the witch who had used their magic with the talisman necklace.

Emily knew if she could find out who the witch was and where they were coming from then she should be able to figure out what type of danger was heading their way.

The Radkova witch had been spending all morning getting zapped and burned by the stupid talisman. It was quite frustrating for Emily to not being able to solve her problem but she wasn't going to give up. Emily had people counting on her, so she wasn't going to stop until she found out what this witch was hiding.

It was around three in the afternoon when the Gilbert girl found a locator spell that would help her.

While Emily wasn't originally a Radkova witch, she still had the Radkova coven blood in her system via the potion from Maria Radkova. Emily figured it was worth a shot to try this locator spell since the talisman was first owned by a Radkova witch.

Emily knew that the original witch's blood was soaked into the ruby but the Gilbert girl hoped she was a strong enough witch to be able to reach the Radkova coven's blood deep in the talisman.

Emily moved quickly around as she grabbed everything she would need for the spell. The Radkova witch placed a circle of white candles in the middle of her room before she laid out the map that she had taken from Tyler's with the talisman laid on top of the map.

Emily used her right hand to pick up the knife that she had grabbed from the kitchen before she lifted her left palm. The Radkova witch was about to slide the blade across her hand before Emily was suddenly puzzled when the knife was no longer in her grasp.

Emily's confusion swiftly vanished and turned to worry when she heard someone tsking. The Radkova witch quickly moved her green eyes around the room before Emily gasped when she spotted who was holding the kitchen knife on the other side of her bedroom.

"Didn't you know it's dangerous to play with weapons?" Katherine Pierce taunted as she twirled the knife between her thumbs and index fingers.

"Katherine!" The Gilbert girl gaped as she hurriedly pushed herself up from the ground before she quickly rushed over to the vampire.

Katherine softly chuckled when the young girl came crashing into her chest. The Petrova vampire tightly wrapped her arm around Emily's shoulder that wasn't occupied with the kitchen knife. "I'm glad I was missed during my absent," Katherine teased.

Emily gave the Petrova vampire's waist one last squeeze before she took a few steps back. "Well, I don't know about everyone else but I missed you," the Radkova witch proclaimed.

Katherine couldn't help the small smile that appeared on her face at the Gilbert girl's words. "I missed you, too, little witch," the Petrova vampire murmured as she bumped Emily's chin with the side of her index finger.

Emily smiled right back at her sister's doppelganger before the Radkova witch's green eyes slightly widened when a thought suddenly came to her. "I thought you said you weren't going to come back to Mystic Falls ever again," Emily mentioned as she tilted her head to the side.

"It wasn't a lie, I did plan on staying away from this hell town," Katherine uttered before she added with a playful smirk, "but I have a soft spot for someone in this place."

The Radkova witch let out a chuckle in amusement. It was widely known to everyone, well the people in Emily's group of loved ones, that the Petrova vampire cared more about her than anyone else alive.

Emily knew her friends and family weren't exactly a fan of Katherine but she cared for the Petrova vampire just as much as Katherine cared for her. Katherine had never put in her in harm's way and Emily trusted the vampire with her life.

"Well, you have excellent timing," Emily sarcastically muttered before she looked over to her necklace that was currently floating above the map on its own accord.

"That's the other reason why I returned back to this dreaded place," Katherine admitted as she pointed her index finger over to the silver piece of jewelry. "I know what's happening and I have a plan," the Petrova vampire announced.

Emily instantly furrowed her brows in confusion. "How did you know about it?" The Gilbert girl inquired.

Katherine shot the Radkova witch a wide smirk. "You know I always have ears everywhere, little witch," Katherine reminded the brunette girl before she quickly grew serious as she told Emily, "I have a plan but I'm going to need Jeremy's help."

"Jer?" The Radkova witch slowly asked in even more confusion. "What does Jeremy have to do with this?" Emily inquired as she quickly grew concerned about her brother.

"All in due time, little witch," Katherine promised as she squeezed the brunette girl's hand. "Grab the necklace and grab Jeremy," the Petrova vampire ordered as she walked towards the bedroom door, "and meet me downstairs. I'll tell you everything."

The Radkova witch frowned as she watched Katherine walk out of her bedroom. Emily was extremely confused about a lot of things right now. Emily didn't understand how the Petrova vampire heard about the talisman in the first place and how Jeremy was apparently wrapped in all of this.

Emily knew she had been slacking in her duties as the oldest sister. She hadn't been able to check in on Jeremy lately with everything going on with Stefan but Emily didn't think anything huge has been going on with her little brother.

A sense of guilt quickly swallowed the Radkova witch's heart as she came to the realization that she had been neglecting her brother. Emily honestly couldn't remember the last time she had asked Jeremy about his day or if something was going on with him.

Emily forced her mind to drop the guilty thought as her curiousness of what Katherine found out took over a larger part of her brain.

The Radkova witch entered the middle of the circle of candles and walked over to the floating talisman necklace. Emily held out her right hand before she wrapped the talisman and a cube of ice.

The talisman necklace carelessly dropped down to fall onto the map. Emily leaned down before she picked it up. It was really just a safety precaution. Emily wasn't sure if the witch on the other side was still doing something to the talisman or if the original witch's magic would activate it again. It was so no more electric shocks tried to zap Emily or anyone else who touched it.

Emily slipped the frozen piece of jewelry into the front pocket of her sweatpants before she exited her bedroom. The Gilbert girl headed down the hallway until she reached Jeremy's room. Emily brought her left fist up to the wooden door before she lightly knocked her knuckles against it.

It only took a few seconds before the door was quickly swung open by the youngest member of the Gilbert family. "What's up?" Jeremy wondered as he leaned against the side of the entrance to his bedroom.

"Uh, actually, I'm not too sure," the Radkova witch sheepishly admitted. "Katherine's here and she has something to tell us," Emily informed her brother.

It was really all Emily could say since she had no idea what Katherine knew about their situation and what kind of plan the Petrova vampire was thinking about.

Jeremy released a loud groan as he tossed his head back. "Katherine again?" The Gilbert teenager whined.

"Hey, play nice," the Radkova witch ordered as she slapped Jeremy's upper arm. "Now come on," Emily exclaimed as she grabbed her brother's hand before she pulled Jeremy out into the hallway.

"Fine," Jeremy grumbled as he led the way down the hallway. The Gilbert teenager wasn't happy about it and he definitely showed it as he slowly dragged his feet towards the staircase.

It took some time, thanks to Jeremy's movements, before the eldest and the youngest Gilbert siblings headed downstairs and walked into the living room. The duo found Damon and Elena sitting on the couch together while Katherine was standing on the opposite side of the room.

Elena quickly turned her head when she heard footsteps before she let out a sigh of relief. "Will you finally tell us what this is about?" Elena asked as she turned back around to face her doppelganger.

Katherine rolled her brown eyes at the human girl before she focused her gaze onto Emily with a small smile. "Good. You found him," the Petrova vampire murmured, "we're all together now."

Emily nodded her head as she walked over to the wooden coffee table in the middle of the living room. Emily slipped her hand into the pocket of her sweatpants before she pulled out the cube of ice that surrounded the talisman.

The Radkova witch was about to toss it onto the coffee table before it suddenly disappeared from her hand with a quick swoosh.

"I'll be taking this," Katherine murmured with a grin as she tossed the block of ice between her palms.

"Why?" Damon suspiciously asked as he squinted his blue eyes at the Petrova vampire. "What do you want with it?" Damon inquired, "what do you gain with keeping the necklace?"

"I'm not keeping it forever," Katherine muttered as she rolled her brown eyes. "Nonetheless, it's leverage," the Petrova vampire stated as she shrugged her shoulders. "Klaus wants it and now I have it," Katherine cockily murmured.

"How did you even find out what's going on with the necklace? How do you know Klaus wants it?" The human girl fired off. Elena quickly moved her brown gaze over to her twin sister before she asked, "you didn't tell her, right?"

Katherine, once again, rolled her brown eyes - this time at her doppelganger. "I'm always a step ahead of everyone. That's how I've stayed alive for this long," Katherine exclaimed. The Petrova vampire pointed her index at Elena as she muttered, "you could learn a few things from me. You did die once already."

"Alright alright," the Radkova witch quickly exclaimed before Elena and Kathrine could begin arguing. Emily cared greatly her sister and her sister's doppelganger, so she would rather not have to listen to them fight, especially when Elena and Katherine didn't exactly like one another.

Emily turned her attention over to the Petrova vampire before she repeated her twin's previous question, "how did you find out that Klaus wants the talisman?"

"Do you remember how I told you I had people watching Klaus in Chicago?" Katherine asked her sister's doppelganger.

Emily slowly nodded her head as she quickly remembered that conversation. It was the phone call that led to Emily traveling to Chicago. "Yeah," Emily murmured before she recalled, "you said Klaus was trying to find out why his hybrids weren't working."

"Well, one of my listeners found out that Klaus needs this necklace to get that answer," Katherine explained as she lifted up the cube of ice that is the talisman. "Of course Klaus doesn't have it," Katherine mentioned before she stated, "he's probably having his witch search for it right now."

Emily's green eyes slightly widened. "That must be the witch activating the magic from the talisman," Emily exclaimed as she came to the realization of what was causing all of the zaps of electricity.

While the Radkova witch got the answer to that question, it raised a new one. "What does Klaus need with it?" Emily inquired as she pointed her index finger to the talisman in Katherine's palm.

The Petrova vampire shook her head as a small frown appeared on her face. "Klaus never said the reason out loud," Katherine admitted.

Damon rolled his blue eyes in annoyance before he muttered, "which means you don't have any answers."

The Petrova vampire immediately shot a glare Damon's way before she exclaimed, "I do have answers."

Katherine ignored the way that the Salvatore vampire scoffed as she focused back onto her favorite person in the room. "I'm sure Klaus' witch already knows the necklace is here in Mystic Falls by now," Katherine stated before she concluded, "which means Klaus is most likely on his way here."

The Petrova vampire slowly looked at each face in the Gilbert living room as she reminded the group, "we all want the same thing, Klaus dead." A smirk quickly grew on Katherine's lips as she announced, "and I know just the way to kill him."

The Radkova witch's brows quickly furrowed after listening to Katherine's words. Emily did not like the idea of Klaus returning back to Mystic Falls at all, especially when she and Elena were alive. That was a problem within itself but another factor that bothered Emily was the fact that Elena was back to being human and she wouldn't be able to defend herself from the hybrid.

Emily's worry didn't end with her twin sister, either. Of course, most of her loved ones were supernatural but that didn't stop the worry Emily had when Klaus was involved. Emily knew they would all be at risk of dying if Klaus didn't get his way.

Emily's concern for her loved ones took a huge part of her mind but Emily was also concerned about one other person; Stefan. The Radkova witch was quite nervous about seeing Stefan again after he ended things between them.

Emily, of course, has had ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriends before and she knew how to deal with the awkwardness after a breakup but this was different.

Emily still loved and cared deeply for the Salvatore vampire, so Emily wasn't too sure how things were going to pan out when they see each other again. Emily honestly wasn't sure her heart could handle anymore harsh words from Stefan.

The Radkova witch knew things were going to get a lot worse in Mystic Falls but that didn't change anything. Emily was still going to protect her loved ones like she always does. Emily refused to let any harm come to them; no matter how far Klaus threatened her.

Emily forcefully shook her head to get out of her anxious thoughts before she focused a serious and determined gaze onto the Petrova vampire. "How? How can we put an end to Klaus?" The Gilbert girl inquired.

"Elijah said there was no way to kill Klaus since he's a vampire and a werewolf," Emily recalled as she subconsciously felt a flutter to her heart at the thought of the noble original. "Silver won't work because of his vampire side and a stake won't kill him, either," Emily reminded the group.

"That's true," Katherine agreed as she nodded her head. "But there is a way to actually kill Klaus," the Petrova vampire stated before she exclaimed, "and I don't mean dagger dead but dead dead.

"Well, are you going to explain to the class?" Damon boredly asked as he lazily crossed his arms over his chest.

Katherine rolled her brown eyes at the Salvatore vampire but she didn't hesitate any longer when she knew they had no time to waste. "Do you remember my friend Pearl?" The Petrova vampire asked the group.

"Vividly," Damon growled as he immediately thought about the last time he had saw the older vampire when she tried to kill him.

"Well, centuries ago she told me about a vampire, who knew how to kill Klaus," the Petrova vampire recalled. Katherine slowly shook her head as she mumbled, "but she would never tell me anything more."

"Why not?" Elena asked in confusion.

"It was her leverage," Katherine uttered as she lightly shrugged her shoulders. "Pearl knew it was valuable information and she wouldn't share it with me," Katherine stated.

"That was a fantastic story," Damon sarcastically muttered. "Too bad she's dead now," the Salvatore vampire reminded Katherine with a glare to his blue eyes.

"Which is why I never brought it up," Katherine exclaimed as she shot a glare right back at the Salvatore vampire. "She didn't tell me but she did tell someone else," Katherine stated as she continued with her explanation.

"Who?" Elena wondered.

"Her daughter, Anna," the Petrova vampire informed the group.

"Who is also dead," Damon grumbled.

Katherine ignored the Salvatore vampire's complaining as she locked her brown gaze over to the youngest Gilbert with a wide smirk. "You've been awfully quiet," Katherine murmured before she tauntingly inquired, "don't you have anything to say?"

The youngest Gilbert didn't look up as he completely ignored Katherine while he kept his gaze down to his hands in his lap. Jeremy knew what was coming but he refused to acknowledge the very large elephant in the room.

Emily was very confused when her brother didn't react to the Petrova vampire's question. "Jer?" The Radkova witch softly called out to the human teenager before she asked, "what is she talking about?"

Jeremy released a heavy sigh before he looked over to his elder sister. "Um, it's about Anna," the Gilbert teenager nervously mumbled. "I might be able to see ghosts now," Jeremy timidly admitted.

"Say what now?" Damon screeched before he looked at the youngest Gilbert like Jeremy had just grown a second head right in front of him.

"It just happened one day," Jeremy mumbled as he anxiously rubbed the side of his neck. "I was in my room when Vicki Donovan suddenly appeared out of nowhere," the Gilbert teenager recalled.

"How is that even possible?" Elena asked as her brows furrowed in confusion.

"This family is horribly cursed," Emily grumbled under her breath as she threw her head back and looked up to the ceiling.

Emily honestly wasn't surprised at this point. They have dealt with adoptions, vampire mothers, centuries of doppelgangers, connections to originals, and Emily's destiny of being a Radkova witch. Why not add seeing ghosts to the mix?

The Radkova witch pushed her feet to move across the living room before she sat down on the loveseat next to her brother. Emily placed her palm onto Jeremy's knee as she stated, "I don't care how it happened." Emily gave her brother's knee a short squeeze before she murmured, "all I care about is that you are okay, Jer."

"I'm fine," Jeremy quickly promised before Emily could worry too much like she usually did. "It's just a little strange seeing my dead ex-girlfriends," Jeremy muttered.

Elena looked over to her twin sister with her brows furrowed in confusion. "Aren't you even a little bit curious why he can see ghosts?" Elena inquired.

"Well, our family isn't exactly normal, Lena, if you haven't noticed," the Radkova witch uttered with a light chuckle. "I wouldn't be surprised if the entire Gilbert line is supernatural in some way," Emily muttered.

Emily turned her attention over to her brother beside her. "I can ask my coven or Deaton about it if you would like," the Radkova witch offered before she shook her head. "But It won't change anything," Emily stated before she comforted her brother, "you will still be the same Jeremy no matter what."

"For what it's worth," Katherine began as she joined the conversation between the trio of siblings. "It's most likely caused by that ring," the Petrova vampire uttered as she pointed her index finger to the blue magical ring on Jeremy's hand.

"I've known quite a few Gilbert men and women in my lifetime. They all went through different things from the affect of dying and coming back to life," Katherine recalled.

"There was hallucinations, paranoia, and even killing sprees caused by that stupid ring," the Petrova vampire listed before she twitched her head to the side in curiousness. "Ghosts is a new one," Katherine murmured.

"It doesn't matter right now, though," Katherine quickly exclaimed as she waved her hand after she reminded herself why she was here in Mystic Falls. "We don't have time to understand how cursed your family is," the Petrova vampire mused before she reminded the group, "we have a hybrid to kill."

Jeremy quickly frowned as he looked over at the Petrova vampire. "I'm not helping you," the Gilbert teenager exclaimed.

"This isn't about you helping me," Katherine snarled as she glared at the human boy. "Do you really think I would come back to this hell hole if I knew Klaus was heading here?" The Petrova vampire asked before she exclaimed, "I would be all the way in Antarctica by now!"

"This is about Emily," the Petrova vampire stated as she pointed her right hand towards her favorite person in the room. "Klaus wants her dead," Katherine reminded the human teenager before she asked, "are you really going to sit back and watch Emily die when you could have helped?"

Jeremy thickly swallowed as he absorbed the Petrova vampire's words. Jeremy would rather do anything in the world than to help Katherine but he knew she was right. Jeremy would hate himself if something bad were to happen to his sister, especially when he could have done something to help.

"Fine," Jeremy grumbled as he shot the Petrova vampire a glare. "I'm only doing this for Emily," the Gilbert teenager exclaimed.

"Hey," Katherine murmured as she innocently raised her hands up in the air before she stated, "so am I."

Jeremy rolled his brown eyes at the Petrova vampire before he closed his eyes. The Gilbert teenager came to realize this was the way for him to contact the ghosts. Jeremy took a slow and deep breath while he focused his mind solely onto Anna.

It only took a couple of minutes before the loud sound of Anna's voice screeched across the room, "I'm not helping them!"

The Gilbert teenager quickly opened up his brown eyes and focused his gaze onto Anna, who was standing with her arms crossed by the entertainment center. "It's okay," Jeremy gently told his ex-girlfriend before he explained, "we're looking for a way to stop Klaus."

"I don't care," Anna stubbornly exclaimed. Anna turned to look at the Petrova vampire with a glare before she reminded her ex-boyfriend, "Katherine is not a friend to you."

"What's she saying?" Damon asked the Gilbert teenager. It was definitely confusing to know what was going on when they couldn't even hear what Anna was telling Jeremy.

The Gilbert boy ignored Damon's question as he kept his gaze locked onto Anna. "She isn't," Jeremy agreed before he uttered, "but this is my sister we're talking about, Anna. This is my family," The human teenager pointed his hand over to Emily before begged, "please, if you know anything, tell me."

Emily could tell her brother was having trouble getting through to the vampire. Emily, of course, understood why. Anna didn't exactly like a single person in the room except for Jeremy.

"Anna I know we've all had our differences," the Radkova witch called out as she stood up from the loveseat and slowly looked around the living room for the vampire ghost. "But this is serious," Emily exclaimed.

"You can hate us for all you want but I know you still care about Jeremy," the Radkova witch stated as she tried to get Anna to understand her side. "If you truly still care for him, then you will us what we want to know," Emily uttered.

Emily took one last look around the living room. Emily really hoped she caught Anna's eye at least once before she left the vampire with one final statement, "Klaus is coming back. You can either help or you can be the reason why Jeremy dies."

The ghost vampire silently stared at the elder Gilbert. Anna really hated how well Emily knew how to use her words to get what she wanted. Anna would rather not help Katherine Pierce in any shape or form but she knew Emily was right. Klaus wouldn't hesitate to kill Jeremy if he got in the way. That was the last thing Anna wanted to happen to Jeremy when he deserved to live his life.

Anna huffed out a heavy sigh before she turned her gaze to her ex-boyfriend. "Mikael," the ghost vampire simply muttered.

"Mikael," the Gilbert teenager repeated Anna's answer out loud, so everyone could know what she had told him. Jeremy looked over to the Petrova vampire before he asked her, "does that name sound familiar?"

Katherine immediately furrowed her brows before she shook her head. "Mikael," the Petrova vampire slowly mumbled as she tested the name on her tongue. Katherine turned to the Gilbert teenager before she asked, "is she sure that is his name?"

"He's the vampire who hunts vampires," Anna informed the Gilbert teenager. Anna quickly frowned as she stared at her ex-boyfriend. "My mom used to say waking Mikael would be a suicide mission," Anna recalled before she told Jeremy, "he will kill you all."

Emily observed her little brother as he spoke to Anna before she quickly noticed the way his face fell. "Jer, what is it?" The Radkova witch worriedly asked as she placed her hand onto Jeremy's shoulder.

Jeremy moved his gaze over to his older sister sitting beside him before Jeremy slowly shook his head. "It's bad news," the Gilbert teenager mumbled.

"What did she say?" Elena curiously wondered.

Jeremy looked at each face around the living room before he let out a heavy sigh. "Mikael is a vampire and a hunter," the Gilbert teenager relayed to the group. "Anna says he will be the reason for our deaths if we wake him," Jeremy added as a frown appeared on his face.

The worry inside of Emily didn't even get the chance to bloom before she quickly noticed something interesting in her brother's explanation. "Wait, hold on," the Radkova witch called out before Emily asked, "wake him? Where is he?"

"Jeremy, you shouldn't be messing with this!" Anna hurriedly told her ex-boyfriend, "you need to leave Mikael alone!"

"Anna, please tell us," Jeremy desperately begged as he looked over at the vampire with a thin layer of liquid clouding his brown eyes. "Klaus will kill us all either way," Jeremy told his ex-girlfriend. "Wouldn't it be better if we had a way to kill him on our side?" The Gilbert teenager inquired.

Anna stared across at her ex-boyfriend with a sense of sadness shadowing her figure. Anna didn't want Jeremy anywhere near Mikael but she knew he was right. Mikael's goal was to kill Klaus, so maybe if Jeremy had Mikael on his side, then Klaus wouldn't think about killing him.

Anna knew it was a tough situation but she would rather give her ex-boyfriend a fighting chance in this. "He's in Charlotte," Anna confessed, "he's at the cemetery."

"Charlotte," Jeremy quickly relayed the information to the group as he turned to look over to the Petrova vampire.

Katherine lifted up her right eyebrow. "How do we know she isn't just trying to trick us?" Katherine inquired as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"I wouldn't lie to you, Jeremy," the ghost vampire quickly told her ex-boyfriend. "Mikael is there," Anna swore. "Back in the nineties, some witch entombed Mikael," Anna recalled before she stated, "he's been in that cemetery ever since then."

Jeremy could see the honesty in his ex-girlfriend's soft brown eyes. The Gilbert teenager had no reason to think Anna was lying to him just to get back at the Petrova vampire.

"She isn't lying," Jeremy assured the group as he looked at each face around the living room. "I trust her," the Gilbert teenager stated before he relayed what Anna told him, "a witch entombed Mikael there in a cemetery."

A wide smirk pulled onto Katherine's lips. "Good," the Petrova vampire murmured before she ordered the youngest teenager, "go pack a bag, Gilbert. You're coming with me."

Jeremy's brown eyes quickly widened. "Woah, what!?" The human boy gasped. "I told you where he is!" Jeremy exclaimed.

"You see, I don't trust your little ghost girlfriend," Katherine muttered as she shook her head. "I'm taking you with me to make sure I'm not being led into a trap," the Petrova vampire stated.

"Hey," Emily cooed as she grabbed her brother's hand. "I'll come with you," the Radkova witch offered as she shot Jeremy a small smile.

While Emily was comfortable with Katherine, the Radkova witch knew everyone else wasn't. Emily knew Jeremy didn't exactly like the Petrova vampire, so Emily figured it would be best for her to join them.

"While I would love to go on a little adventure with you, little witch," Katherine began with a tiny smirk playing on her lips before Katherine shook her head and grew serious. "You need to stay here," the Petrova vampire stated.

"If Klaus thinks you're running, he will kill everyone you love until he finds you," Katherine told the Radkova witch. Katherine shot her sister's doppelganger a sad smile before she murmured, "trust me, I know."

Emily quickly frowned as she took in the Petrova vampire's words. Of course, the Radkova witch knew Katherine was right. Katherine's whole family was proof of Klaus doing that from the stories she had heard from the Petrova vampire.

While the Radkova witch knew Katherine was right, Emily didn't like the idea of Jeremy going somewhere without her. It wasn't that Emily didn't trust Katherine with her brother. It was the danger that came with looking for his Mikael guy.

"Look," the Petrova vampire huffed as she looked over to the youngest Gilbert sibling. "I just need you to lead me to the right place," Katherine explained before she told Jeremy, "you can leave as soon as we get there."

"That's not the problem," Elena exclaimed as she glared her brown eyes at her doppelganger. "I don't trust Jeremy with you even for a second," Elena snarked as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Katherine turned her gaze over to her doppelganger with a smirk pulled across her lips. "Good thing I don't care what you think," Katherine muttered.

The Salvatore vampire released a heavy sigh before he tossed his hands up in the air. "I guess I'll go," Damon huffed.

Elena quickly turned to her boyfriend with her brown eyes widened in surprise. "Are you sure?" The human girl inquired.

"I would rather stick pencils in my eyes for a day than go on a road trip with the psycho bitch," Damon muttered before he admitted, "but she's right."

The Salvatore vampire turned his attention onto the Radkova witch as he stated, "you needs to stay here. The more witches on our side, the better."

Damon glanced between the Gilbert twins as he uttered, "if Klaus does find out you guys are alive, then we need all of the firepower we can." The Salvatore vampire shook his head before he told Emily, "you going to Charlotte won't help us in anyway."

Emily let out a heavy sigh. The Radkova witch hated leaving her little brother to go on this task without her. This wasn't even Jeremy's fight, so she would hate if something bad happened to her brother. However, Emily, thankfully, trusted the two vampires. Emily was positive her brother would be in safe hands.

"Alright," Emily mumbled. "J-Just make sure he doesn't get in any dangerous and he comes back safely," the Radkova witch requested as she glanced between the Petrova and Salvatore vampires with a worried gaze.

"I got him," Damon vowed. "I'll be by his side the whole time," the Salvatore vampire stated before he promised as he looked at each of the twins, "Baby Gilbert won't leave my side until we're back here."

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Elena exclaimed before she threw herself into her boyfriend's arms. The human girl wrapped her arms around Damon's neck and hid her face into his neck.

Elena absolutely refused to trust her doppelganger in any sort of capability, so she was glad Damon was going to be there for Jeremy. Elena knew her boyfriend wouldn't dare let anything happen to her brother.

"You'll be okay, Jer," the Radkova witch promised as she shot Jeremy a soft smile. Emily moved her green eyes up to the Petrova vampire with her right eyebrow raised before she asked, "right?"

Emily had faith in her doppelganger's sister but she knew Jeremy didn't exactly hold the same feelings towards Katherine as she did. Emily just wanted to help Jeremy calm down enough to trust that Katherine wasn't going to put him in danger.

Katherine let out an amused chuckle. "I may not care you for you, Jeremy," the Petrova vampire began as she moved her brown eyes to the human teenager before she stated, "but I would never do anything to cause my little witch pain."

"That's so assuring," Jeremy sarcastically muttered as he glared at the Petrova vampire.

"Look, Jer," the Radkova witch murmured to grab her brother's attention. "It's just a little field trip, then you'll come right back home," Emily stated once Jeremy's gaze was back on her. "It'll be okay," Emily promised once more before she leaned over and placed a kiss onto her brother's temple.

The Radkova witch placed her palm onto Jeremy's shoulder and gave it a light squeeze before Emily advised, "go get ready. Go pack a bag."

The Radkova witch watched as Jeremy sighed before he got up from the couch and headed upstairs, where she hoped Jeremy was doing what she had asked.

Once Jeremy disappeared upstairs, Emily moved her gaze over to her twin sister, where she found Elena quietly conversing with the Salvatore vampire. The Radkova witch figured Elena was making Damon promise to protect Jeremy and to call if anything bad happened.

Emily knew Elena was just as nervous about letting Jeremy go find their Klaus-killing-weapon as she was. While Elena didn't trust her doppelganger, Emily was glad the Salvatore vampire would be going, so Elena wouldn't worry as much.

Emily's green eyes slowly trailed across the living room before she spotted the Petrova vampire, who was already looking at her. Emily softly chuckled before she pushed herself off of the couch and headed over to her doppelganger's sister.

The Radkova witch shot Katherine a small smile in greeting before she advised, "be careful out there." Emily quickly furrowed her brows as she reminded the Petrova vampire, "if Mikael is the way to kill Klaus, then he's going to be just as danger."

A wide and cocky smirk worked its way onto the Petrova vampire's rouge colored lips. "You don't have to worry about me, little witch," Katherine murmured. "I've been fighting my entire life," the Petrova vampire reminded the young girl before she vowed, "I'll be fine."

Katherine pointed her index finger towards the Radkova witch as she stated, "you are the one that needs to be careful."

"Klaus is on his way here," the Petrova vampire mentioned. "You need to be smart when he's around," Katherine advised before she shook her head. "Don't do anything stupid," Katherine ordered with a serious look to her brown eyes, "don't worry about other people. Be selfish and keep yourself alive."

"I will," Emily promised as she nodded her head.

While, Emily would never be selfish when it came to her loved ones, Emily knew it was best to just agree for Katherine's sake. The Radkova witch would rather lie than to make Katherine worry for her while she had a very serious job in Charlotte.

Katherine stretched her arm out before she grasped Emily's hand. "I won't let Klaus hurt you again, little witch," Katherine murmured as she squeezed the brunette girl's hand. "We'll deal with this together and we'll get rid of him for good," the Petrova vampire vowed.

Emily widely grinned as she nodded her head. "Yes, we will," the Radkova witch confidently proclaimed.

While Emily knew what they were trying to do was almost impossible since Klaus is both vampire and werewolf, Emily also knew confidence was an important step. Emily knew she just had to keep her hopes high and believe they could actually do the impossible.

"Good girl," Katherine murmured with a smirk before she playfully patted the top of Emily's head. The doppelgangers shared a series of chuckles before Katherine grew serious and stated, "I'll be in touch once I locate Mikael."

"Okay. That sounds good," Emily murmured as she nodded her head in agreement.

The Radkova witch took a step forward before she tightly wrapped her arms around Katherine's neck. "Be careful," Emily murmured as she embraced the Petrova vampire, "and take care of Jer for me."

Katherine wrapped her arms around the Radkova witch's waist before she promised, "I will."

Emily let out a breath of relief as she relaxed the left side of her face onto the Petrova vampire's chest. Emily felt at ease for the time being. Emily knew it was going to be a long road of fighting for their lives but she felt assured to know that they had a strong plan.

Emily knew everyone was going to be on their toes with Klaus back in the picture. The Radkova witch didn't let that bother her, though. Emily was going to protect her loved ones from the hybrid until her very last breath. Emily was ready for whatever Klaus throws her way.
