The Radkova witch couldn't help but sigh in relief once Damon carefully helped her stand flat on her two feet after the Salvatore vampire had used his enhanced speed to take them to the boarding house.

Emily wasn't a fan of the super speed that vampires had but she made the decision to allow Damon to get them home with his speed. It would have been a hell of a walk if they moved at human speed all the way from the hospital to the boarding house.

The Radkova witch mentally rolled her green eyes at herself when she immediately tripped over her own feet when she went to take a step forward. It was really becoming a nuisance that Emily couldn't even walk in a straight line because of the stupid original hybrid.

"Woah," Damon exclaimed as he quickly gripped onto the Radkova witch's waist to stop her from falling on her face. "You alright?" The Salvatore vampire worriedly asked.

Emily took a couple slow and deep breaths as she tried to get control of her body and the non-existent energy she had. "Fine," the Radkova witch mumbled while she tightly held onto Damon's upper arm with her right hand.

It was quite obvious that the Radkova witch felt the complete opposite of her words by her action. However, before Damon would even get the chance to ask anymore questions about Emily's wellbeing, the front door of the boarding house was suddenly thrown open by an erratic Tyler Lockwood.

The new hybrid took advantage of his new powers as a half vampire when he used his enhanced speed to move in front of the Radkova witch before Tyler tightly pulled Emily into his arms.

"Oof!" The Radkova witch gasped in surprise when she saw Damon's worried face swiftly get replaced by a hard chest.

"Hey!" Damon exclaimed as he roughly slapped his palm onto the new hybrid's shoulder. "Take it easy, wolf," the Salvatore vampire warned the teenager with a glare to his blue eyes.

Tyler quickly pulled away from the Radkova witch before he took a step back. "Shit, sorry," the Lockwood hybrid apologized to Emily. "I'm still trying to get use to my new strength," Tyler sheepishly admitted.

Emily shot the Lockwood hybrid a small smile. "It's okay," Emily assured her best friend. The Radkova witch took a step forward before she placed her hand onto Tyler's upper arm. "How are you doing?" Emily softly asked, "how are you handling the hybrid thing?"

Tyler lightly shrugged his shoulders. "It's different," the Lockwood hybrid stated, "but I feel good. I feel better." Tyler released a light chuckle. "I honestly feel like a whole new person!" Tyler proclaimed with a wide grin stretched across his face.

Emily's smile slowly grew larger as she stared across at the Lockwood hybrid. "I'm glad it worked out for you, Ty," the Radkova witch murmured.

Emily's senior prank night had gone absolutely horrible with threats from the original siblings, being defenseless, and getting her blood taken from her. However, the Radkova witch was still happy that Tyler had made it through his hybrid transformation and was doing better than he was a few hours ago.

"Could we please move this inside, children?" Damon whined from behind the Radkova witch and the Lockwood hybrid. "It's been a very long day," Damon grumbled as he crossed his arms over his chest before he began to impatiently tap his right boot against the wooden porch.

Emily rolled her green eyes as she turned to the side to look at the Salvatore vampire. "You wanna talk about a long day?" Emily asked as she raised her left eyebrow before she muttered, "because I know for a fact that I will win."

Damon rolled his blue eyes right back at the Radkova witch. "Well, then you should want to get inside the house more than me!" The Salvatore vampire exclaimed as he threw his hands up in the air.

Emily would usually do the complete opposite just to mess with the Salvatore vampire but Emily was pretty exhausted herself. "Fine," the Radkova witch muttered. Emily silently walked around the hybrid in front of her before Emily made her way inside the boarding house.

Emily took a few steps through the foyer before she came to a stop in front of the row of shoes. The Radkova witch slowly slid her feet out of her once white sneakers before she let out a breath of relief.

Emily hadn't even realized how tired her feet were until her shoes were finally off. The Radkova witch had mostly been focused on keeping the majority of her blood in her body, so she didn't notice the soreness in her lower body until now. It just made Emily want to spend the next few days in bed after the horrible night that she had to go through.

The Radkova witch shook off the soreness in her feet before she continued to walk through the Salvatore boarding house. Emily softly smiled when she came to a stop in front of the living room and she found three more of her loved ones. Alaric and Jenna were cuddling on the loveseat while Elena was pacing the stretch of the area.

"Lena," the Radkova witch called out to her twin sister.

Elena swiftly turned around when she heard her name being called before Elena's brown eyes quickly widened. "Emily," the human girl gasped before Elena immediately crossed the living room and tightly wrapped her arms around Emily's waist.

The Radkova witch let out a soft giggle as she brought her arms around Elena's neck to embrace her twin sister. Emily released a heavy and exhausted breath before she whispered against Elena's chest, "hey,"

The Radkova witch felt like she could truly and fully relax now that she had Elena in her arms. Emily, of course, knew Elena had gotten away to make a call to Damon and told him what was happening. The Radkova witch had just been worried that the original siblings got to Elena in the process and had done something to her.

However, Emily was very happy and grateful to see with her own eyes that Elena was okay. The only thing that told Emily that her twin sister had gone through this horrible night was the dried up blood on Elena's neck. The Radkova witch figured Damon or Jenna must of healed the wound that Rebekah had caused.

Elena tightly embraced the Radkova witch in her arms for an extra fifteen seconds before the human girl swiftly pulled away with a look of worry in her brown eyes. "Are you okay? What happened?" Elena hurriedly asked as she remembered what her twin sister had to deal with after she had escaped.

Emily released a humorless chuckle before she vaguely muttered, "Klaus happened."

Elena didn't exactly get the answer that she was looking for, so the human girl did a quick scan of Emily's body for an sort of injury. The Gilbert girl's brown eyes quickly widened, though, when she spotted the nasty bite on Emily's neck and the smaller one on her wrist.

Elena carefully grasped her twin sister's bleeding wrist as she whispered, "was this Stefan?"

Emily brought her free hand up to her neck before she pointed to the open gash. "This one was product of Klaus' compulsion," the Radkova witch told Elena before a frown quickly pulled onto Emily's lips. "He made Stefan turn it off," the Radkova witch mumbled.

"Oh, Emily," the human girl cooed with a pool of sadness in her brown eyes.

Elena already knew about Stefan's no humanity. The Lockwood hybrid had told her everything that he had seen while they were waiting for Damon to bring Emily back home. However, that didn't stop the heartbreak that Elena felt for her twin sister.

The Radkova witch looked to Elena with a sad smile. "Yeah, so there's that," Emily muttered.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," Elena whispered before she immediately pulled her twin sister back into her arms for a tight embrace. "We'll fix this," the human girl swore as she gently patted the crown of Emily's head, "we'll fix Stefan."

The Radkova witch released a heavy sigh as she leaned her head down onto Elena's shoulder. "I really hope so," Emily mumbled.

The Radkova witch would never ever even think about giving up on Stefan in any shape or form. However, it didn't stop Emily from feeling defeated in this moment. Emily getting her blood forced out of her body by someone she loves was definitely not the most ideal situation.

Emily would always love Stefan. No one would be able to change that. It didn't matter that they were exes now. It just sucked that the man Emily loves was hurting her - and not because he actually wanted to. It's all Klaus' fault, Emily frustratingly reminded herself.

"I'll do whatever I can to help you," Alaric called out from his spot of the couch before he looked at the Radkova witch with a small but comforting smile.

Emily lifted her head from her twin sister's shoulder before she looked over to the owner of the voice. The Radkova witch softly smiled back at Jenna and Alaric, who were doing their best to offer her some sort of comfort.

Emily nodded her head at the vampire hunter. "Thanks, Ric," the Radkova witch praised the older man.

Emily honestly had no idea what she was going to do with an emotionless ex-boyfriend and a hybrid looking to make an army with her blood. It was a difficult situation but Emily was glad to know that she had someone like Alaric in her corner.

No one else in Emily's group of loved ones had time to give the Radkova witch their own comfort or support before the sound of someone's cell phone loudly began to blare through the Salvatore living room.

Elena let out a groan before she pulled her cell phone out of the back pocket of her jeans. "Scott and Stiles have been calling me non-stop for the past two hours," Elena told her twin sister.

"I knew I shouldn't have called them," Elena mumbled to herself.

Elena had been so worried for her twin sister that she had called Scott and told the true alpha that Emily could be in danger. Elena knew it had been irrational but she could see how protective Scott was over her twin sister.

The plan was if Emily wasn't home by morning that Scott would come to Mystic Falls. Elena was honestly glad her sister came back before the morning. Elena didn't want to be the reason why someone else in their lives were wrapped in the dangers that is the original hybrid.

At the sight of Elena's cell phone, the Radkova witch quickly began to pat her own jeans as she tried to locate her phone. Emily just knew that if Scott and Stiles were blowing up Elena's phone, then hers probably wasn't any better.

Emily triple checked each pocket on her jeans before the Radkova witch released a heavy sigh. "I must have dropped mine at school," Emily mumbled.

The Radkova witch could only hope and pray that no one stole her cell phone before she got the chance to find it tomorrow morning before first period started.

"It's Scott this time," Elena stated after she had looked down at the screen and saw which Beacon Hills resident was calling. The Gilbert girl held the cell phone out to her twin sister.

"Please answer it," Elena begged with a short chuckle. "They aren't going to stop until they hear your voice," Elena stated.

The human Gilbert girl understood that perfectly, so she wasn't too upset that Scott and Stiles were blowing up her phone. Elena had been in the same boat only a few minutes ago.

Elena saw her twin sister as one of the strongest people that she knew but Elena only felt completely relaxed when she actually saw Emily in one piece. Elena knew that was just what the two teenagers from Beacon Hills needed right now.

The Radkova witch released a soft chuckle as she accepted the device from Elena's stretched out hand. "Alright," Emily murmured before she pressed the accept button onto Elena's cell phone.

The Radkova witch brought the electronical device up to her ear as she sluggishly moved further into the living room. "Hello," Emily murmured before she fell back onto the leather recliner that was right across from Alaric and Jenna.

"Emily? Emily, is that really you?" The sound of Scott McCall's worried voice hurriedly interrogated through the phone.

A soft smile quickly appeared onto Emily's face when she heard the comforting voice of the true alpha travel into her ear. It was that connection they shared. It worked magic on Emily, no matter what was going on.

"Yeah, it's me," the Radkova witch uttered as she assured the Beacon Hills teenager.

Scott immediately released a heavy sigh that had been stuck in his throat since the moment he realized something wasn't right with the Gilbert girl.

"Oh, thank God!" The McCall teenager cried out. "I felt something was wrong and then Elena called me and said you might be in danger," Scott hurriedly explained before he mumbled, "I got so worried when I couldn't reach you."

Emily released a humorless chuckle. "Yeah, the last few hours have been crazy," the Radkova witch admitted as she ran her fingers through her messy brunette mane.

"Are you okay? What happened? Are you hurt?" Scott swiftly fired off at the Radkova witch.

"Elena said Klaus is back," the true alpha recalled from his earlier conversation with the human Gilbert sister. "Did Klaus hurt you?" Scott asked as a sense of anger and protectiveness quickly built up in his chest.

The Radkova witch released a heavy sigh as all the events that took place tonight took over her thoughts. "It's a long story," Emily mumbled.

Emily took a long and slow deep breath before she relayed the night to the true alpha without going into too much detail, "Klaus compelled Stefan to turn off his emotions and then he had Stefan drink from my neck."

"What!?" Scott loudly screeched (along with Stiles in the background). "Why would Stefan do that to you?" The true alpha asked before he muttered under his breath, "I swear, the next time I see him..."

"Scott, calm down," Emily advised the McCall teenager before his inner wolf could get too worked up over her wellbeing and safety.

"It wasn't Stefan's choice," the Radkova witch defended her ex-boyfriend as she explained what happened to Scott, "he couldn't fight the compulsion." A deep frown appeared on Emily's face as she mumbled, "there was nothing Stefan could do but follow Klaus' orders."

"Still," Scott stubbornly mumbled.

Emily released a quiet chuckle as Scott still tried to find a reason to blame the Salvatore vampire. It was amusing how protective the true alpha was over her but it wasn't necessary when she herself didn't blame Stefan for what happened.

"I'm fine. I'm back at home and I'm safe," Emily murmured as she tried to assure the McCall werewolf. The Radkova witch released a heavy sigh before she muttered, "it's just been a very long night of horrible events."

Scott was quiet on the other end of the phone call for a few seconds as he forced his inner wolf to relax before the McCall teenager curiously inquired, "did anything else after that?"

Emily leaned her head back on the leather recliner before she stared up at the ceiling of the Salvatore living room. "Well, Klaus forced Tyler to drink from me after he realized my blood would create his hybrids," Emily recalled, "and then I was forced to donate two pints to him as well."

"I should just come back to Mystic Falls!" Scott exclaimed as the anger quickly built back up after hearing what had happened to the Radkova witch. "I knew that wolf wouldn't be able to keep you safe," Scott grumbled.

The aforementioned Lockwood werewolf (now hybrid) released a loud growl as soon as he heard what Scott had said about him with his enhanced hearing.

The Radkova witch chose to ignore Tyler's growl as she was more worried about what Scott had just said. "Oh, no, no, no!" Emily proclaimed as she hurriedly shook her head in disagreement to Scott's plan.

"It wasn't Tyler's fault," Emily stated as she defended her best friend. Emily glanced over to the frowning hybrid across the living room and shot Tyler a comforting smile before Emily told the true alpha, "besides, I can't have you here in Mystic Falls anymore."

"What!?" Scott gasped in surprise before the McCall werewolf asked in confusion, "why not?"

"Klaus is obsessed with making his hybrids," Emily explained to the true alpha. "If Klaus even knew there was another species of werewolves, he will turn you into one of his hybrids and I refuse to let that happen to you," the Radkova witch mumbled.

The thought of Klaus turning the McCall werewolf into a hybrid frightened Emily more than she would like. Emily would hate herself so much when Scott was only involved in all of the Mystic Falls drama because of the connection that he shared with her.

"I don't like the idea of you going through all of this alone," Scott told the Radkova witch as a deep frown appeared on his face.

Scott wasn't someone who sat back and did nothing when he knew someone was in danger and he could help them. It was a big reason for why Scott was one of the chosen few to be a true alpha, so it absolutely pained Scott to know Emily didn't want his help with this.

The Radkova witch let out a quiet and amused chuckle at how worried Scott was for her. Emily would never admit it out loud, but she found it quite adorable.

"I'm not alone," Emily reminded the McCall werewolf. "I have my family and friends all around me," the Radkova witch assured Scott as she slowly glanced at each face around the Salvatore living room with a small smile.

The McCall werewolf released a loud and frustrated sigh before he mumbled, "I wish I could help."

"I know," Emily softly murmured as to comfort the true alpha before she told Scott, "but I would rather you stay where you are." A frown quickly appeared onto the Radkova witch's face as Emily mumbled, "that way, Klaus won't be able to get to you and hurt you."

"I will keep you and Stiles updated, though!" Emily hurriedly added before the McCall werewolf could try to convince her or talk his way back to Mystic Falls. "I'll tell you everything as long as you stay there," Emily swore.

Scott was silent on the other end of the phone for a long and tense few minutes before the McCall werewolf let out a heavy sigh. "I'm not happy about it but fine," Scott mumbled in agreement, "I guess I'll stay here."

The Radkova witch released a sigh of relief. "Thank you," Emily murmured as she expressed her gratitude.

Emily felt a whole lot better knowing that Scott and Stiles wouldn't be popping up in Mystic Falls anytime soon. Emily had been anxious that the McCall werewolf would feel their connection and run here to help her.

The Radkova witch could tick one worry off of her list now that Scott promised he would stay put in Beacon Hills. It meant that Emily no longer had to worry about Klaus finding out about the McCall werewolf and that Scott was the last living true alpha.

Emily had no doubt in her mind that Klaus would try to use the true alpha in his army of hybrids if he knew the truth about Scott.

"I'll give you a call after school, okay?" The McCall werewolf uttered through the phone before he clarified, "to check up on you and to see how things are going."

"Alright," Emily murmured in agreement as she nodded her head to herself. "Try not to worry too much," the Radkova witch advised the true alpha before Emily promised, "everything's going to be okay."

While Emily wasn't sure she actually believed that with Klaus involved but the Radkova witch didn't want Scott to constantly worry about her when Scott probably had his own problems in Beacon Hills.

Scott let out a heavy chuckle. "It's kind of hard to do that when danger always seems to find you," the McCall werewolf jokingly stated.

"Tell me about it," Emily muttered as she playfully rolled her green eyes.

The McCall werewolf's statement couldn't be anymore truer. Emily always seemed to be wrapped up in every single dangerous situation in Mystic Falls. It, sadly, had become a norm in Emily's life nowadays.

The true alpha and the protector of the innocent shared a series a chuckles together before Scott was the one to sober up first.

"I'm glad you're okay," Scott softly murmured before he told the Gilbert girl, "get some rest, Em."

"Oh, trust me, I will," Emily vowed with a small chuckle. The Radkova witch was almost at the point of being delirious from how exhausted she was after the long and hectic Senior Prank Night.

"Good night, Scotty," the Radkova witch told the true alpha before Emily disconnected the phone call.

The Gilbert girl barely had time to place Elena's cell phone down onto the end table to the right of her before the Lockwood hybrid was suddenly kneeling in front of her with his new enhanced speed.

Emily immediately flinched when she noticed the new hybrid in front of her without even hearing him. "Jesus," the Radkova witch muttered as she closed her green eyes to calm her racing heart. "You have to stop doing that," Emily scolded her best friend.

"Sorry," Tyler sheepishly apologized as he gently grasped Emily's right hand in his own. "I'm still getting used to everything," Tyler stated as he softly ran his thumb across Emily's hand in a comforting motion.

"You know I'm really, really sorry about the blood thing, right?" The Lockwood hybrid uttered as he needed Emily to know how bad he felt for what he did. Tyler hurriedly shook his head as he stated, "I would never purposely hurt you."

While Tyler had already felt guilty for what happened during Senior Prank Night, the Beacon Hills werewolf's words had definitely made it worse. It pissed Tyler off that some new guy was trying to say he couldn't take care of Emily.

Tyler honestly felt like ripping the McCall werewolf's throat out for what he said but Tyler reigned in those thoughts as he focused solely onto the Radkova witch. The Lockwood hybrid needed Emily to know that he would never knowingly hurt her or ever stop protecting her.

"Hey, no. None of that," Emily cooed as she placed her free palm on top of Tyler's hand. "I don't blame you," Emily assured her best friend before she stated, "It was all Klaus' doing, I know."

"I still feel bad," Tyler mumbled as his brown eyes quickly went down to the Radkova witch's wrist that was caked in dry blood from where he had bitten her.

"Hey, really, it's okay. I'm okay," Emily murmured as she tried to assure the Lockwood hybrid. Emily lightly shrugged her shoulders before she reminded Tyler, "besides, we can't change what happened now."

"I know," Tyler mumbled as a deep frown appeared on his face. "I wish there was something I could do to help you," the Lockwood hybrid began before his brown eyes quickly widened as he suddenly remembered something.

"My blood!" Tyler exclaimed, "I can heal you!"

Tyler remembered this fact from when he had first arrived at the Salvatore boarding house. Tyler had told Elena everything that happened since she left Senior Prank Night and in exchange, Elena had told him everything about being half vampire.

The ability to heal someone with his blood was one of the things that Tyler had learned while he and Elena were waiting for Damon to bring Emily back home to the Salvatore boarding house.

"Uh, I don't know," Emily mumbled in hesitation.

The Radkova witch was definitely on the fence on the idea of taking Tyler's blood. It wasn't that she didn't trust the Lockwood hybrid - which was far from the truth. It was more about the fact that Emily wasn't a fan of having vampire (or hybrid) blood in her system.

Emily wasn't even sure what would happen if she were to die with hybrid blood in her body as a Radkova witch. Hell, it might even turn her into a tribrid and that was the last thing Emily wanted to happen because she was a hundred percent positive that Klaus would use that for his advantage.

"You should do it," Elena murmured as she jumped into the conversation. "You've been through so much tonight," the Gilbert girl reminded Emily.

"Besides, if we're going to be going head to head with Klaus," the human Gilbert girl began before she proclaimed, "then we all need to be at our strongest."

The Radkova witch silently bit down on her bottom lip as she listened to Elena's words. Emily didn't want to admit it but she knew Elena was right about this.

Emily knew she needed to be at her very best; especially when they not only dealing with Klaus but also his sister. One original was a lot of work already, so two was definitely going to be a challenge.

The Radkova witch was leaning more towards Tyler's blood than not for a few points. The first one was that Emily knew she couldn't have her magic flunk out of her because her body was too focused on healing the two wounds from tonight.

The other major point on Emily's mind was that she didn't want to deal with her first day as a senior to be like this. The last thing that the Radkova witch needed was to be worried about bleeding or passing out in the middle of class.

The Radkova witch released a heavy breath before she finally nodded her head. "Alright," Emily murmured in agreement before she stated, "I'll do it."

Tyler's brown eyes quickly widened in surprise as he wasn't exactly the Radkova witch to agree. "Really? Are you sure?" The Lockwood hybrid asked.

"Yeah," Emily murmured as she nodded her head. "Let's just get this over with," the Radkova witch muttered.

"Okay, okay," Tyler hurriedly uttered as he swiftly stood up from his squatted position in front of the Radkova witch.

Tyler bit down onto his wrist with his new hybrid fangs like he had previously done to Emily's wrist - of course, not by his choice.

"Here you go," Tyler murmured as he held out his bleeding wrist to the Radkova witch.

Emily took a deep breath as she grabbed ahold of the Lockwood hybrid's arm. Emily closed her green eyes before she wrapped her lips around Tyler's wrist.

The Radkova witch had to force herself to ignore the strong taste of Tyler's blood going down her throat. Emily tried to only focus on the feeling of her opened wounds slowly healing and her skin sealing back together.

The Radkova witch was so distracted by her neck and wrist healing that she didn't notice the way that everyone in the Salvatore boarding house grew tense or the fact that someone else had joined them until the person spoke.

"Well, isn't this cozy?" Stefan lazily called out as he stared at the Radkova witch and the Lockwood hybrid with a darkness to his usual light green eyes.

Emily swiftly pulled her mouth away from Tyler's wrist at the sound of the familiar voice before the Radkova witch's green eyes widened in surprise at who she saw.

Emily jumped up from her spot on the leather recliner before she came face to face (with a few feet between them) with her ex-boyfriend. "What are you doing here?" The Radkova witch quietly asked.

Stefan slowly and silently crossed the living room until he was a few inches from the Radkova witch. However, it didn't last very long with Tyler in the room.

The Lockwood hybrid didn't like how close Stefan was to the brunette girl, so Tyler used his enhanced speed to place himself in between Emily and Stefan with a low and threatening growl escaping for the back of his throat.

Stefan immediately rolled his green eyes at the action of the new hybrid. "Relax," the Salvatore vampire ordered Tyler before he muttered, "I'm not going to steal her."

Emily gently pushed onto Tyler's shoulder as she murmured, "it's okay, Ty." The Radkova witch continued to push on Tyler's shoulder until he finally gave in and moved to the side instead of standing directly in front of her.

A wide smirk stretched across Stefan's face when he came face to face with the Radkova witch. "There she is," Stefan cooed.

Emily ignored the teasing of the emotionless vampire as she asked, "why are you here?" The Radkova witch lifted up her right eyebrow before she continued to question her ex-boyfriend, "shouldn't you be with Klaus?"

Stefan didn't respond to the Radkova witch's interrogation. Instead, Stefan closed the distance between himself and Emily until they were standing chest to chest.

The Salvatore vampire kept his sharp gaze locked onto Emily's green eyes as Stefan brought his thumb up to Emily's face. Stefan smirked as he wiped Tyler's blood off of the Radkova witch's bottom lip.

"I live here, babe," the Salvatore vampire reminded Emily as he slowly pulled his thumb away from her face.

"Don't call me that," Emily snapped as she took a step away from the Salvatore vampire to put some distance between them.

The Radkova witch used to love being called babe or baby by Stefan. However, now, it just felt wrong. For one, they weren't romantically together anymore. The big factor was the fact that Stefan was now emotionless. It almost seemed like Stefan was calling her that name to mock her and the love they once shared.

Stefan released an amused chuckle as he pulled an item out of the front pocket of his jeans. Stefan brought the item up to reveal a cell phone. "You dropped this in the gym," the Salvatore vampire told Emily.

Stefan held the device out to the Radkova witch before he innocently stated, "I was just being nice and returning it to you."

The Radkova witch cautiously stretched her hand out in fear that Stefan would try something. Emily waited for a few seconds but when Stefan only stared at her, the Radkova witch quickly swiped her cell phone from Stefan's hand before she took another step away from him.

Emily hated herself for not being able to trust the Salvatore vampire, someone she loved and care for. However, Emily just couldn't be sure that Klaus didn't compel him to do something to her.

While Emily knew the original hybrid would never order Stefan to kill her because of his need for her blood for his hybrids, Emily couldn't be sure that Klaus wouldn't compel Stefan to hide her away from her family and friends like Rapunzel.

"Yeah, right," the elder Salvatore sarcastically muttered from his spot in front of the table of alcohol with a full crystal tumbler of bourbon clutched between his fingers.

A wide smirk pulled onto Stefan's lips as he looked over to his brother. "You caught me," Stefan uttered as he raised up his hands in innocence.

"Klaus is gone," Stefan informed the group as he glanced at each face in the living room before Stefan focused his gaze back onto Emily. "He asked me to keep an eye on you until he returns," Stefan told the Radkova witch.

"I'll be your protector," Stefan murmured as he shot a smirk towards the young witch. "It'll be just like old times," the Salvatore vampire teasingly proclaimed.

Emily crossed her arms over her chest. "That would usually fill me with comfort but not when your Klaus' little minion," Emily muttered.

Stefan released a boastful chuckle at the Radkova witch's words. "Oh, we're going to have so much fun, babe," the Salvatore vampire taunted.

Stefan stared down the brunette girl for another tense second before he moved his gaze over to the Lockwood hybrid. "You can continue where you left off," Stefan instructed as a smirk pulled onto his lips.

"I'm sure you'll get the girl this time," the Salvatore vampire sarcastically taunted before he moved his gaze back over to the aforementioned girl.

"I'll keep the bed warm for you," the Salvatore vampire teasingly vowed before he swiftly turned around and made his way upstairs while Stefan left the destruction that he had caused without a second thought.

The living room quickly grew tense with silence as the group of supernatural beings and humans watched Stefan head to the second floor of the Salvatore boarding house.

The silence was broken by the elder Salvatore as he appeared beside Emily. "Here," Damon mumbled. "You're gonna need a lot of this with him here," Damon muttered as held out a glass of whiskey to the Radkova witch.

"Thanks," Emily murmured as she accepted the drink before she swiftly tossed the alcohol to the back of her throat.

The Radkova witch silently handed Damon the empty glass before she moved her gaze over to follow Stefan walking up the staircase with a deep frown across her face.

It was quite uncomfortable for the Radkova witch to know Stefan was back in the boarding house.

Emily knew it was laughable when she had been trying all summer to get Stefan back home. However, it was different now. It irked the Radkova witch by how emotionless Stefan was; especially with her.

It was painful to witness when Emily couldn't find a single ounce of the love they had previously shared in the Salvatore vampire's gaze or movements.

It was as if Emily was staring at Klaus through the Salvatore vampire's body. The Radkova witch knew that wasn't good at all. It meant that she couldn't be positive that Stefan wouldn't try to hurt her.

While the Radkova witch hated the thought of Stefan hurting her and she knew the real Stefan would never willing do it, Emily knew she had to be ready for that possibility.

Emily moved her gaze off of the staircase once Stefan had disappeared to the second floor before the Radkova witch focused her green eyes onto the loveseat that was occupied by Jenna and Alaric.

"I know it's a lot to ask," Emily began as she moved to sit on the coffee table in front of the vampire and the vampire hunter before she timidly asked Alaric, "would you be willing to train me?"

The Radkova witch, of course, knew she could always use her magic to get herself or others out of dangerous situations. However, Emily didn't want to solely rely on her magic during the off chance that her magic wasn't working while she was dealing with an emotionless Stefan.

Emily's magic would always come in handy but the Radkova witch also wanted to be able to defend herself or her loved ones against a vampire without any of her powers.

"We never know if my magic will just stop working or if Klaus is able to find a witch to block my powers," Emily uttered as she brought up her worries to the vampire hunter.

Emily glanced over to her twin sister, who was standing beside Damon by the miniature bar against the back wall, with a deep frown on her face that displayed all of her worries for the human girl.

"I was defenseless tonight and I hated that feeling," Emily confessed as she shook her head. "I hated that I couldn't do more to protect Lena," the Radkova witch mumbled before she proclaimed as she turned back to the vampire hunter, "I never want to feel that defenseless ever again."

"I want to be trained, too!" Elena exclaimed as she quickly crossed the living room to stand next to the sitting witch.

"I'm not a vampire anymore," the Gilbert girl reminded Alaric before she stated, "I need to know how to keep myself alive from Stefan and now Klaus' sister."

Elena lightly flinched as she thought about the blonde original vampire. "She doesn't exactly like me," Elena mumbled.

Elena didn't really have an good experiences with the original family but Elena's introduction to Rebekah had been the worst out of the three siblings. The Gilbert girl would never say it out loud but she was more afraid of Rebekah than Klaus; especially from the way Rebekah had tore in her neck.

Alaric silently glanced between the Gilbert twins as he nibbled on his bottom lip. The vampire hunter wasn't exactly thrilled that Stefan would be hanging around Mystic Falls for the original hybrid.

Alaric also hated the thought of the emotionless vampire hurting the Gilbert twins because of an order from Klaus. The only logic answer was for Alaric to train Emily and Elena. The situation wasn't the greatest but at least Emily's idea would help him sleep better at night.

Alaric released a heavy sigh before he nodded his head. "Alright," Alaric muttered before he told the Gilbert twins, "we start bright and early in the morning."

Emily immediately shot the vampire hunter a wide grin. "Thank you so much," the Radkova witch praised the older man as she felt her shoulders slowly relax.

The Radkova witch, of course, would always love Stefan and she knew he would never willingly hurt her in any shape or form. However, that wasn't the case now that Klaus made Stefan turn off his emotions.

The Radkova witch knew she just couldn't trust Stefan at this moment in time. The dry blood on her neck was proof of that.

Emily absolutely hated thinking about it but she knew she needed to be ready with her magic and Alaric's vampire hunter training to take Stefan down if Klaus was to ever tell him to hurt her or any of her loved ones again.

Emily refused to be unprepared like she was tonight.
