The Gilbert twins' first day of Senior year had been a long one and it was only seven in the morning. After another hour of training with Alaric that included many bruises and sore muscles, Emily and Elena had quickly taken a shower and got dressed for school before Caroline and Bonnie had picked them up.

The four best friends that consisted of two witches, a vampire, and a human doppelganger slowly came to a stop outside of Mystic Falls High School. The group looked towards the building, where they saw that it was bursting with excitement from the students and the teachers.

"Here we are," Caroline proclaimed with a grin playing on her pink lips, "Senior year."

"Anyone else think it should feel slightly more empowering?" Bonnie inquired as she placed her hands onto her hips.

"Oh, yeah," Emily muttered as she let out a light chuckle. "I thought I would only be focused on studying and preparing for college," the Radkova witch admitted before she mumbled, "now I don't even want to be here."

The Forbes vampire released a heavy sigh as she turned around to face the trio. "Okay, so prank night was a bust," Caroline sheepishly admitted before she clapped her hands together. "But we are accepting it and moving forward!" Caroline proclaimed.

"You're right," Bonnie sarcastically muttered as she the foursome began to head up the stairs to enter the building. "I mean, why should I let the fact that my boyfriend is seeing the ghost of his dead girlfriends hinder this experience?" The Bennett witch inquired in that same sarcastic tone.

"Ouch," Elena winced as she locked her arm with the Bennett witch's. "Yeah, that's pretty bad," the Gilbert girl mumbled as she thought about the issue that they had with Jeremy's new ability. It wasn't exactly a spot Elena wanted to be in when her brother was dating her best friend.

"It's bad but I think Emily has you beat," the Forbes vampire proclaimed as she linked her arm with the Radkova witch's one beside her.

Emily playfully rolled her green eyes at the blonde vampire. "Oh, yeah," the Radkova witch muttered. "I beat everyone on having the worst start of Senior year," Emily stated before she listed off, "I have no boyfriend anymore, said ex-boyfriend is an emotionless psycho who's only thought process is following everything Klaus tells him."

The Radkova witch released an emotionless chuckle before she concluded with a whispered shout, "and let's not forget that said hybrid wants to use my magical blood to make himself an army of hybrids!"

Bonnie looked at the Radkova witch with her brown eyes widened. "Yeah... You win," the Bennett witch mumbled.

"Told you!" Caroline proudly exclaimed as if it was a competition.

The Bennett witch continued to look at Emily with a sense of worry in her gaze. "Are you sure you want to be here?" Bonnie inquired. "I could always pick up all your work while you stayed at home," Bonnie suggested.

Emily shot her fellow witch a soft smile. "I appreciate it, Bon Bon," the Radkova witch praised the brunette girl before Emily shook her head.

"I have to be here," the Radkova witch stated. "I can't let what Klaus and Stefan are doing stop me from living my life or I might as well be in prison," Emily asserted with as much confidence as she could.

"You're right," Elena backed up her twin sister as she moved away from the Forbes vampire to tightly grasp Emily's hand. "And we'll all be right here for you," the Gilbert girl vowed with a comforting smile displayed across her lips.

The Bennett witch quickly nodded her head in agreement from the other side of Emily. "Right," Bonnie murmured. "It's a new year," Bonnie stated before she joked, "let's focus on getting out of this hell hole."

"Just think and look forward to all the parties we will have this year!" Caroline exclaimed as she joined in on comforting the Radkova witch.

Emily giggled as she glanced at each of the three faces around her. "Thanks, guys," the Radkova witch praised her best friends and twin sister before she murmured, "I really needed that."

"Hey! That's what we're here for!" Caroline proclaimed with a wide grin stretched across her face. "Now let's go show everyone who's boss!" The Forbes vampire commanded before she strutted down the hallway as she led the group of supernatural beings into the crowd of students.

The Gilbert twins and the Bennett witch shared a series of giggles together before they quickly followed after Caroline as they knew it was for the best if they didn't want to witness an erratic Caroline Forbes on the very first day of school.

The trio jogged through the busy hallway until they finally caught up to the Forbes vampire, who had stopped in front of the rows of grey lockers. The group of girls silently began to unlock their lockers when the sound of a cell phone went off.

The two witches, the vampire, and the human doppelganger all dug through their purses and pockets to see who's phone was ringing. Elena ended up being the culprit when she pulled out her cell phone and saw Damon's name displayed across her device.

Elena pressed the accept button before she quickly brought her cell phone up to her ear. "Hey, babe," the human girl greeted her vampire boyfriend as she put in her locker combination.

"Hey, love," Damon greeted his girlfriend before he swiftly asked her, "is Princess around?"

Elena furrowed her brows in confusion at her boyfriend's question. "Uh, yeah," Elena murmured as she glanced over to her twin sister, who was exchanging her bag for a textbook in her locker.

Damon released a sigh of relief from the other end of the phone call. "Good," the Salvatore vampire muttered before he told Elena, "put me on speakerphone. It's important."

"Yeah, okay," the human Petrova doppelganger quickly agreed before she told Damon, "give me a sec."

Elena hurriedly closed her locker before she took a few steps towards the Radkova witch. Elena waved her cell phone in the air before she told Emily, "it's Damon. He said it's important."

The Gilbert twins' reactions were in full swing as Emily immediately furrowed her brows just like Elena had done. "What does he want?" Emily asked in confusion as she closed her locker.

The Radkova witch had no idea what Damon would need with her, especially when they had barely let the Salvatore boarding house thirty minutes ago.

"He didn't say," Elena told her twin sister. The Gilbert girl nodded her head towards the empty corner of the hallway before she murmured, "come on."

The Radkova witch released a small groan before she nodded her head in agreement. Emily turned to the puzzled vampire and witch before she told the duo, "we'll be back."

Emily waved her hand at her two best friends before the Radkova witch quickly jogged to catch up with her twin sister.

Elena waited until Emily was standing beside her before Elena pressed the speakerphone button her cell phone. "Okay, she can hear you," the Gilbert girl informed the vampire on the other end of the call.

"Finally!" Damon exclaimed in annoyance. "Do you not know how to answer her phone or what?" The Salvatore vampire complained.

Emily frowned in confusion before she pulled her cell phone out of her jacket pocket. Emily looked down to her device and realized why she hadn't received Damon's phone call.

"Oops," the Radkova witch mumbled before she explained, "I forgot I put it on mute when we were training."

Damon released a loud groan all the way back at the Salvatore boarding house. "I have so much I could say," the vampire grunted before he exclaimed, "but we have something more important to deal with!"

"Is it Katherine?" The Radkova witch inquired as she stuck her cell phone back into her jacket pocket, "have you heard anything from her yet?"

Emily was quite concerned for her sister's doppelganger. The Petrova vampire had told Damon that she would call her. Emily knew it had only been a day or two but Emily was still worried for Katherine; especially when she was dealing with the vampire that hunts vampires. The Radkova witch made the mental note to call Katherine when she got the chance.

"It's worst!" The Salvatore vampire screeched. "Barbie Klaus decided that she's moving in," Damon grumbled.

Emily furrowed her brows in puzzlement. "Rebekah?" The Radkova witch asked to get confirmation before she inquired, "why is she staying with us?"

"She's stranded, apparently," Damon explained to the Gilbert twins. "Klaus left her in the dust after I name-dropped Mikael," the Salvatore vampire stated.

"Do you think she's up to something?" Elena worriedly asked.

"Who knows when it comes to Klaus and his sister," Damon muttered.

Emily released a heavy breath. "Alright," the Radkova witch murmured. "Thanks for the heads up, I guess," Emily uttered as she praised the Salvatore vampire.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Damon mumbled as he waved off the Radkova witch's praises. "You can thank me by buying me a new bottle of whiskey," the Salvatore vampire proclaimed.

Emily instantly rolled her green eyes at Damon's request. "I'm literally in high school," the Radkova witch deadpanned.

"Hey!" Damon shouted before he reminded the Radkova witch, "that has never stopped you from drinking before!"

Elena let a small chuckle as she listened to the back and forth between her twin sister and boyfriend. It was amusing but they didn't really have time for it right now. "Alright, that's enough," Elena stated as she ended the argument before it could go any further. "We need to get to class," the Gilbert girl told her boyfriend.

"Fine," Damon grunted before he told the Radkova witch, "I'll be waiting for my new bottle."

"We'll see," Emily murmured. A smirk rose onto the Radkova witch's face as she told Damon, "I'll pay up as long as you aren't too annoying today."

Damon rolled his blue eyes all the way back at the Salvatore boarding house. "It won't happen, then!" The Salvatore vampire screeched, "we can't go a day without annoying each other!"

"Alright, alright!" Elena exclaimed as she quickly took her cell phone off of speakerphone and brought it up to her ear. "We really need to get going," Elena told her boyfriend. "I'll talk to you later, okay? I love you," the Gilbert girl told Damon.

"Fine. Love you, too," Damon mumbled from the other end of the call.

Elena couldn't help but chuckle as she ended the phone call before she stuck the device into her pocket. However, the Gilbert girl quickly sobered up when she noticed the furrowed look on Emily's face.

"Should we be worried with Rebekah in the house?" Elena anxiously asked her twin sister.

Emily quickly looked over to the human girl before she shot Elena a soft, comforting smile. "It'll be fine," the Radkova witch promised as she linked her arm through Elena's and began to pull her to where she saw Caroline standing in front of a bulletin board.

"How can you be sure?" Elena quietly asked.

"If Klaus is as smart as everyone says he is, then he would have told Rebekah to not hurt any of you guys or he can say goodbye to my blood and his hybrids," Emily explained her reasoning to her twin sister.

Emily honestly had zero knowledge of who Rebekah was and how dangerous she could be or if she would even listen to the original hybrid. The Radkova witch could only hope that Rebekah didn't try anything with her loved ones or they would have a problem.

"I hope you're right," Elena mumbled with a tint of skepticism in her voice.

The Radkova witch could tell Elena was still worried about the original vampire. It was understandable since Rebekah did attack her at Senior Prank Night.

"Hey," Emily cooed as she squeezed her twin sister's arm. "Let's just forget about her for right now," Emily suggested. "We're at school," the Radkova witch reminded Elena before she uttered with a playful smirk, "let's focus on passing our classes for once."

Elena let out a small giggle before she nodded her head. "Alright," the Gilbert girl murmured as she tightened her grasp on Emily's lower arm.

The Gilbert twins silently walked their way over to Caroline, who was tacking a piece of paper onto the bulletin board. It wasn't until the sisters got closer before they noticed that the paper was to promote the annually back-to-school bonfire party.

"I forgot about the bonfire," Elena admitted as she stared at the colorful piece of paper.

The Forbes vampire quickly turned to face the Gilbert twins with an erratic look to her blue eyes. "You have to go!" Caroline exclaimed, "it sets the bar for the whole year!"

Emily giggled in amusement at her best friend. "Relax, Care," the Radkova witch told the Forbes vampire as she placed a hand onto Caroline's shoulder. "We'll be there," Emily assured her best friend. "You know I would never miss the first bonfire of the year," Emily stated with a chuckle.

Elena hurriedly nodded her head in agreement when the Forbes vampire looked over to her. "Yeah! We'll be there!" The Gilbert girl quickly promised.

Caroline released a heavy sigh of relief. "Oh, thank God," the Forbes vampire exhaled before she proclaimed, "I thought I was going to have to pull you by your feet because I will not let evil vampires and hybrids mess with our tradition!"

The Gilbert twins immediately bursted out into laughter before Caroline soon joined in with them. It was a nice moment between the three girls. Their lives were all very crazy at the moment, so it was nice for the three girls to feel like it was a normal first day of school.

The laughter between the witch, the vampire, and the human doppelganger soon came to and end when Klaus' first successful hybrid suddenly joined them.

"Happy first day!" Tyler loudly exclaimed as he threw his arms around the Radkova witch's shoulders from behind and swiftly pulled Emily against his chest.

Emily squealed at at the sudden attack before she released a series of giggles. The Radkova witch quickly turned around in the Lockwood hybrid's arms before she grinned up at her best friend. "You're quite chipper for a Monday morning," Emily teased the newly turned hybrid.

Tyler widely grinned down at the Radkova witch in his grasp. "Hey, I can't be in a good mood?" The Lockwood hybrid asked with a pout on his lips.

While the Gilbert twins were laughing at Tyler, the Forbes vampire was busy frowning in puzzlement. "Why do I suddenly smell blood?" Caroline inquired as she voiced her confusion to the group of supernatural beings.

Emily quickly looked around the busy hallway for someone injured but it was Elena who realized where the blood was coming from when she noticed the red stain on Tyler's grey t-shirt. Elena pointed her finger towards the red splotch before she asked the Lockwood hybrid, "is that blood?"

Emily swiftly turned around and followed her sister's gaze before she noticed the blood. "Shit," the Radkova witch swore before she hurriedly grabbed Tyler's wrist and pulled him into the closest restroom. Emily immediately noticed that it was the boys' restroom but she didn't care at the moment. Emily only cared about that no one saw the blood on the Lockwood hybrid.

"Woah! What's going on!?" Tyler asked in confusion as he slotted his fingers through the Radkova witch's digits.

"Vampire 101! You don't wear your breakfast to school!" Caroline screeched as she quickly went over to the paper towel dispenser and hurriedly pulled onto the lever multiple times until she had a stack of paper towels in her hand.

While Tyler was being reprimanded by the witch and the vampire, Elena quickly checked each of the stalls to make sure the boys' restroom was empty. The last thing they needed was for someone to hear them talking about blood and vampires.

"It's all clear," Elena soon announced as she quickly moved to stand by the trio.

Emily looked over to her twin sister with a thankful glance before she moved her gaze back over to the new hybrid. "Please, tell me it's from a blood bag," the Radkova witch pleaded. Emily just might go insane if she had to worry about Tyler feeding off of innocent people on top of everything else that was going on.

"It was!" Tyler hurriedly promised to the Radkova witch. "I didn't drink from anyone!" The Lockwood hybrid swore before he stated, "Rebekah gave it to me!"

Emily looked at the Lockwood hybrid with a deadpanned expression. "You're joking, right?" The Radkova witch questioned with her right eyebrow raised.

Tyler immediately frowned at the Radkova witch's words. "What? What's wrong with Rebekah?" The Lockwood hybrid asked in confusion. "She's helping me," Tyler stated before he tightly grasped Emily's hand and murmured, "she's helping us."

Emily pulled her hand out of the Lockwood hybrid's grasp before she slowly shook her head. "I wouldn't call Klaus' sister a friend," the Radkova witch muttered.

"She literally attacked me," Elena mumbled uncomfortably as she crossed her arms over her chest. Elena could still feel the way the original vampire attacked her. It wasn't something that the Gilbert girl wanted to happen again.

"Why are you even hanging out with Rebekah?" The Forbes vampire in disgust while she was busy ringing out the water from the stack of power towels in her hands.

Tyler carelessly shrugged his shoulders. "Klaus told her to keep a watch on me," the Lockwood hybrid explained before a smirk rose onto his lips as he added, "to protect his new asset."

The Radkova witch threw her head back with a load groan at Tyler's words. "You got to be joking," Emily muttered under her breath as she rubbed the center of her forehead.

Emily could honestly feel a headache coming along and it wasn't because Alaric spent an hour throwing tennis balls at her face. Emily, obviously, knew she would have to worry about Rebekah being in Mystic Falls but she didn't think that she would have to worry about the Lockwood hybrid befriending the original!

"Emmie, this is a good thing!" Tyler proclaimed as he grabbed both of Emily's hands in each of his before he pulled the Radkova witch closer. "Rebekah is just helping me, helping us, until Klaus comes back to town," Tyler simply explained.

Caroline looked at the Lockwood hybrid like he was completely stupid. "You do realize Klaus is the enemy, right?" The Forbes vampire asked before she added, "which also means his sister."

The Lockwood hybrid immediately looked over to Caroline in confusion before he quickly shook his head. "No, he's not," Tyler argued back. "I owe it to Klaus for turning me into a hybrid," Tyler exclaimed before he turned to look back at the Radkova witch a soft smile. "I also owe to Emily," the Lockwood hybrid stated, "they made me stronger and better."

Emily instantly frowned at the way the Lockwood hybrid was speaking. It confused her. Why was Tyler feeling so thankful towards her and the original hybrid?

The only explanation that the Radkova witch could think of was that it's her magic blood causing Tyler to act like this way. Emily was curious to know if her theory was right, so she decided to test the Lockwood hybrid.

"Hey, Ty," the Radkova witch called out as she linked her green eyes with Tyler's brown ones. "If I told you I was proud of you for drinking from a blood bag, how would that make you feel?" Emily inquired as she began to test her theory.

Elena quickly moved her brown eyes over to her twin sister. "What are you doing?" The Gilbert girl questioned with her brows pulled together in confusion.

Emily ignored her twin sister's question of concern as she kept her gaze locked onto the Lockwood hybrid. "So?" The Radkova witch asked as she gently squeezed Tyler's hand, "how would you feel?"

A wide grin immediately pulled onto Tyler's face as he exclaimed, "I would be happy!"

"Hmm... Okay..." Emily hummed to herself as she took in the Lockwood hybrid's answer. The Radkova witch still wasn't sure, so she decided to ask another question. "What if I told you to only drink my blood?" Emily inquired.

"Emily..." The human Petrova doppelganger mumbled in a warning tone as she took a step towards her twin sister. Elena had no idea what Emily was doing but she didn't like the sound of it; especially when Tyler was a freshly turned hybrid hungry for blood.

Tyler instantly looked down at the Radkova witch with a deep frown on his face. The Lockwood hybrid hurriedly shook his head as he turned down Emily's suggestion. "I wouldn't do it," Tyler muttered. "I wouldn't want you to get hurt," the Lockwood hybrid mumbled as he placed a feather-like hand onto Emily's waist, "I want to keep you safe."

"What if Klaus decided to drink all of my blood? What would you do?" Emily questioned as she continued to interrogate the Lockwood hybrid until she found the missing piece of the puzzle.

The Radkova witch just knew there was a reason why Tyler was acting this way. Emily knew her best friend was naturally protective over her but it didn't make sense why Tyler was defending the original hybrid so much; especially after everything Klaus had done to her and their friends.

The Lockwood hybrid's brown eyes slightly widened before he stuttered out as he tried to find an answer that would please Klaus, "umm... I-I..."

The boys' restroom grew silent for a few seconds as Tyler tried to think of a response before he swiftly shook his head. "He wouldn't do that!" The Lockwood hybrid exclaimed with a hint of anger in his voice, "Klaus needs Emily like he needs me. He wouldn't do that!"

The Gilbert girl and the Forbes vampire glanced at one another in confusion. "Why are you getting so defensive?" Elena asked as she voiced her and Caroline's puzzlement towards the newly turned hybrid.

"This is so stupid!" Tyler shouted as he glared over at the vampire and the human girl. "Klaus would never hurt Emily and I would never let anyone hurt her," the Lockwood hybrid proclaimed, "Klaus just wants what is best for her and for me!"

There it is, the Radkova witch thought as the pieces slowly came together. While Emily didn't understand the reasoning for it, the Radkova witch did know that Tyler felt some sort of responsibility to please her and the original hybrid.

Emily had an idea why the Lockwood hybrid felt that way but she wasn't going to tell anyone her thought process just yet until she was a hundred percent sure. Emily didn't want to freak everyone out by mentioning that she thought the Lockwood hybrid felt loyal to herself and Klaus because of her magical blood that turned him.

The Radkova witch was glad that she was figuring out what was going on with Tyler but this wasn't exactly what Emily wanted to worry about on her first day of Senior year. Emily just wanted a few hours without having to worry about vampires and hybrids. Emily just wanted to worry about if she was going to pass her classes or not.

"I can't deal with this right now," Emily muttered before she took a step away from the Lockwood hybrid, which caused her waist to slip away from Tyler's grasp. Emily honestly just didn't have the mental capacity to handle Tyler's obsession with pleasing her and Klaus at eight in the morning.

"Emmie, wait!" The Lockwood hybrid desperately begged. "I'm sor-" Tyler began to apologize as he went to reach out for the Radkova witch.

However, before the Lockwood hybrid could even touch Emily, the Forbes vampire swiftly grabbed ahold of his arm. "Let's clean up the blood before you do anything else," Caroline ordered as she tightened her fingers around Tyler's bicep.

"But..." Tyler uttered with a frown as he looked at the Forbes vampire beside him before Tyler swiftly turned his gaze to the Radkova witch. "I need to fix this," Tyler hopelessly mumbled.

"I don't think so," Caroline exclaimed before she forcefully dragged the Lockwood hybrid over to the row of sinks. The Forbes vampire glanced to Emily over her shoulder before she nodded her head towards the restroom's entrance. "Go," Caroline told the Radkova witch, "I got this."

"Are you sure?" The Radkova witch worriedly asked. While Emily didn't want to worry about Tyler's obsession at the moment, it didn't mean that she just wanted to leave Caroline to deal with it by herself.

"Yeah," Caroline promised as she nodded her head. "You've got enough on your plate," the Forbes vampire reminded Emily. "I got it," Caroline swore as she picked up the wet paper towels to hopefully clean up the blood on the Lockwood hybrid's shirt.

"I'll stay and help her," Elena quickly jumped in as she told her twin sister. It was quite obvious how stressed Emily was, so the human Petrova doppelganger just wanted to help in anyway she could.

Elena shot the Radkova witch a teasing smile to assure Emily that she was okay and she wanted to do this. "Just make sure you safe us a good seat," the Gilbert girl requested.

Emily let out a soft chuckle before she nodded her head. "You got it," the Radkova witch promised to her twin sister and her best friend before she began her walk out of the boys' restroom with the sound of the whining hybrid calling out her name.

The Radkova witch released a heavy sigh once she was out of the restroom and alone out in the hallway. It was only eight in the morning but Emily's day was already so hectic. Emily honestly knew she should have known her first day of school wasn't going to be normal just like last year when she was pushed into the supernatural world.

This time, Emily wasn't worried about the Salvatore brothers hurting her family and friends. Instead, Emily was more concerned about Tyler and why he was so dead set on not only pleasing Klaus but herself as well after turning into a hybrid.

Emily really hoped that she was wrong with what was going on with the Lockwood hybrid. Emily just knew it would not do her group of friends and loved ones any good if Tyler had some sort of need to want to please the original hybrid. It would mean that Tyler would be like a mole for Klaus when they were trying to get rid of him.

If Tyler being loyal to the original hybrid was bad enough, Emily still felt like the Lockwood hybrid thought he had to please her as well. Emily kind of understood why Tyler would feel loyal to Klaus since he would be one of Klaus' army of hybrids but Emily was still puzzled as to where she fit in all of it.

The only thing that Emily could think of was that it was because of her blood. It was quite obvious that Emily's blood wasn't normal. The number one example was when Tyler completed his hybrid transformation and he showed signs of her magical abilities from the Radkova powers in her system.

The Radkova witch was so lost in her thoughts over her dilemma with the newly turned hybrid and what that would mean for her loved ones that Emily didn't notice the body heading right towards her. Emily was so focused on the worries roaming around her mind when she turned the corner that she didn't realize what was happening until it was too late.

Emily let out a loud gasp when she suddenly slammed right into roughly into a hard chest. The Radkova witch quickly braced her palms onto the person and grabbed their shirt to stop from toppling over.

"I am so sor-" The Radkova witch began to apologize as she moved her green eyes up to the person, who she had ran into. However, Emily immediately let out a groan at who she saw.

"Of course it's you," Emily grumbled as she took a large step back away from the emotionless Salvatore vampire.

Stefan widely smirked across at the Radkova witch. "There's my baby," the Salvatore vampire cooed as he closed the distance between them. "Is this deja vu? Us running into each other like this?" Stefan tauntingly asked as he brought his hand up to Emily's cheek. "It was one year ago today when we did this little dance," Stefan reminded the Radkova witch.

Emily quickly slapped the Salvatore vampire's hand away from her face with a glare to her green eyes. "Yeah, too bad we aren't the same people anymore," Emily muttered as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Oh, you don't have to be like that, babe," Stefan teasingly murmured.

Emily forced herself to ignore the pet name that used to make her heart swell. It wouldn't do her any good to entertain Stefan's words; especially when he was only messing with her now that Stefan was an emotionless vampire under Klaus' control.

"What are you even doing here?" The Radkova witch interrogated as she looked at Stefan with her head twitched to the side. "Shouldn't you be following Klaus around like a lapdog?" Emily snarked out towards her ex-boyfriend.

Stefan released a loud chuckle as he threw his head back. "Cute," the Salvatore vampire murmured before he shook his head. "But no," Stefan stated. "I'm here for you," Stefan informed the Radkova witch with a smirk playing on his lips, "Klaus told me to keep an eye on you."

Emily immediately rolled her green eyes at the Salvatore vampire's words. "Oh, great," the Radkova witch sarcastically muttered. "I not only can't escape you at home but at school as well," Emily grumbled in annoyance.

"Hey, it's going to be just like old times!" Stefan proclaimed. "Isn't that what you wanted all summer?" The Salvatore vampire asked with a raise of his right eyebrow.

The Radkova witch shot Stefan a sarcastic smile. "I changed my mind," Emily simply muttered. "I don't need Klaus' shadow watching over me," Emily mumbled as she took a step away from the emotionless vampire. "Now, if you excuse me, I have a diploma to get," the Radkova witch announced before she swiftly turned around to escape from the person who was once her whole world.

However, the Radkova witch didn't get very far before Stefan quickly latched his fingers around Emily's wrist and roughly twisted her back around. Stefan smirked down at his ex-girlfriend. "Why don't I walk you to class?" The Salvatore vampire suggested before he murmured, "it can be like last year."

The Radkova witch let out a loud scoff. "I'd rather walk through fire than do that," Emily muttered as she dug her fingers into the emotionless vampire's wrist to get Stefan to let go of her.

"Oh, come on," Stefan ordered as he rolled his head around before he focused his gaze back onto the Radkova witch. "Let me just do my job, Emily," the Salvatore vampire commanded as he stared down at Emily with a hardened glare.

"I'm not going anywhere with you!" Emily snapped as she glared right back at the emotionless vampire. Emily dug her fingers deeply into Stefan's skin before she demanded, "now let me go."

Stefan released a loud and deep chuckle. "Oh, I'm not giving you an option here," the Salvatore vampire stated. "You're coming with me or I will carry you," Stefan uttered as he threatened the Radkova witch.

"Then I won't have an other option but to make you leave me alone," Emily mumbled.

The Radkova witch gave Stefan one last chance to let her ago. However, when the Salvatore vampire only looked down at her with an amused eyebrow raise, Emily knew what she needed to do. Emily hated the thought of hurting her loved ones but Emily really didn't have an other options if she wanted to get away from the emotionless vampire.

Emily took a deep breath before she focused all of her anger onto her ex-boyfriend. The Radkova witch pictured a small campfire traveling through her body. It wasn't long before Emily felt the heat move through her chest and down to her arms.

However, before the blazing heat could reach the insides of the Salvatore vampire and burn Stefan, the Saltzman man suddenly appeared beside the ex couple. "Let her go," Alaric commanded as he glared at the emotionless vampire.

Stefan took the distraction of the vampire hunter's arrival to escape from the heat that was slowly tickling his skin. The Salvatore vampire released Emily's wrist only to roughly slam Alaric against the grey lockers.

The Radkova witch gasped in surprise at Stefan's swift action before she quickly moved to close the distance between the vampire and the vampire hunter. "Stop it," Emily ordered in a whisper as she glared towards her ex-boyfriend.

Emily gave the Salvatore vampire the chance to release Alaric but when Stefan didn't move a single muscle, the Radkova witch realized she had to try to fix this tense situation in another way.

The Radkova witch glanced around the hallway to make sure no one was looking their way before Emily produced a low flame from her palm to start with. Emily grabbed ahold of Stefan's wrist with the flames closing in on his cold skin. "Let him go now before I have to do something I don't want to," the Radkova witch threatened.

Stefan looked down at the Radkova witch with an amused smirk. "Nice try, babe, but we all know you would never hurt me," the Salvatore vampire cockily proclaimed.

Emily glared at the emotionless vampire before she raised the size of the flame on her palm. "Try me," the Radkova witch warned as she made the fire travel further up Stefan's arm.

Stefan kept his gaze locked onto the Radkova witch for a couple seconds more before Stefan had to listen to the young witch. The Salvatore vampire quickly released the vampire hunter and moved away from Emily's grasp once Stefan felt his arm beginning to sizzle.

Stefan glanced down to his arm to make sure he wasn't on fire before he looked over to the Radkova witch with a sense of amusement. "Klaus will definitely be thrilled to hear how strong you're becoming," Stefan murmured.

The Salvatore vampire brought his index finger to Emily's chin before he pushed her head up until their green eyes were locked together. "Maybe he'll want my sloppy seconds," Stefan murmured with a smirk before he slowly released the Radkova witch's chin.

Stefan kept his gaze on his ex-girlfriend as he slowly began to step backwards. "I'll see you soon," the Salvatore vampire promised.

The Radkova witch deeply frowned as she watched Stefan turn around and walk down the hallway. Emily wouldn't lie, the Salvatore vampire's words definitely hurt her.

Of course, Emily knew the real Stefan didn't mean any of that he was saying. Stefan was an emotionless vampire under the leadership of Klaus, so it was no surprise that Stefan wouldn't be the same person who Emily fell in love with. It sucked but Emily knew it was just going to take some time to get used to - at least until they dealt with the original hybrid.

The Saltzman man placed a gentle hand onto the silent Emily's shoulder. "Are you okay?" Alaric softly asked in the Radkova witch.

Emily hurriedly brushed away the negative thoughts from her mind before she shot the vampire hunter a tiny smile. "I'm fine," Emily mumbled before she pointed her index finger towards the way that Stefan had went. "But that's going to be a problem," the Radkova witch stated.

"Agreed," Alaric muttered as he crossed his arms over his chest. The Saltzman man moved to stand directly in front of Emily before he asked her, "what are you thinking of doing?"

The Radkova witch bit down on her bottom lip as she thought for a moment before Emily suggested, "let's get everyone together first." Emily honestly didn't know what they were going to do but she figured it would be better to have everyone involved with something as serious as Klaus having his soldiers around.

"Let's meet in my classroom," Alaric advised the young witch as he began to lead her down the hallway. "The bell is going to be ring soon, anyway," the Saltzman man muttered.

Emily silently nodded her head as she pulled her cell phone out of her jacket pocket. "Okay," the Radkova witch murmured as she pulled up her text messages. Emily quickly texted Elena, Bonnie, and Caroline that Stefan was here at school and they needed to have an emergency meeting in Alaric's classroom.

The Radkova witch kept her gaze locked onto the messages until she was sure they went through with the school's shoddy internet before Emily shoved her cell phone back into her jacket pocket.

Emily honestly couldn't see how worse her morning could get at this point as she followed Alaric to his classroom for their emergency meeting. The Radkova witch could only hope that this was the worst her day was going to get.
