The Keepers recovered back at Finn's house. Finn and Charlene both took showers, separately of course, to wash off all the smell of fish and man-made lagoon water and any smell of blood and guts, specifically pirate ones.
Finn's mother made everyone cheeseburgers and fries for dinner. As she cooked, Finn could see worry and anxiety in her movements.
"Mom, are you okay?" Finn asked her.
"Honestly not entirely," she said. "How many times are you not going to find Amanda? How many trips to the hospital will we have to make? How many times to I must be afraid that my baby boy is going into the parks at night to face real sorcerers, lions, pirates, and sea witches?"
"Hopefully mom this will ever be the last time," Finn said. "The last "adventure" if you want to call it that."
"We will find my sister," Jess said. "And we will not let anything happen to Finn."
"He's our leader and our best friend," said Charlene. "We would never let anything happen to him."
"Just like he'd never let anything bad happen to us," said Maybeck.
Mrs. Whitman smiled weakly and gave Finn a big hug.
"Just keep being safe," she said. "And you don't stop until you find your soul mate and bring her home. Because you and Amanda, you two are endgame."
"Thanks mom," Finn said.
After eating dinner everyone went right to sleep soon after.
And soon enough, they woke up as their DHIs at Hollywood Studios.
"Alright guys," Finn said as they were about to fully finish crossing over, just like they were in a Star Trek teleporter. "Time to go-"
Before he could finish his sentence, the sounds of screaming and people running in horror and terror were heard.
The Keepers ran into the open and gasped.
There were still people inside the parks! It was supposed to be closed by now!
And they were all running around in fear and horror.
"What the fuck is going on!?" Philby yelled.
Suddenly a teen girl came running up to them.
"Kingdom Keepers it's you!" she yelled. "Help me please! He took my parents!"
"What's going on here!?" yelled Willa.
"The gates suddenly closed themselves!" the girl yelled. "They wouldn't open! And then he appeared and unleashed his horrors! Oh god there's one now!"
Before they could look, the girl was suddenly chomped down on by a glowing green dragon-like creature made of green energy or magic.
She wasn't killed however, but instead sucked inside its belly, where several other visitors were trapped too.
The Keepers looked out and saw to their horror several animal-looking creatures made of the same magic energy terrorizing the trapped people and gobbling them up, trapping them.
"What is this!?" yelled Maybeck. "The Revengers are now attacking civilians!?"
"Don't they realize this will bring Mickey in!?" yelled Charlene.
"What are these things anyway!?" yelled Finn. "Are they forms of Dr. Facilier's friend on the other side?"
"Or magical projections created by Maleficent?" asked Jess.
"HA HA HA HA HA HA!" said a voice suddenly on the loudspeaker. "Not even close! Try a villain created many years later!"
The Keepers all looked around.
"You want to find me and save everyone here?" the voice said again. "Come get me at Fantasmic. But first, you got to get through my armies! Oh, but don't worry, they won't kill the people, yet."
He laughed menacingly and shut off the loudspeaker.
"It's a trap," said Philby. "He wants us to travel through the park in hopes that we will be killed."
"He makes it sound like that's the only way the people leave safely," said Maybeck.
"I don't care!" growled Finn drawing his sword. "We're getting through here one way or another!"
"I think it's sadly safe to say Amanda is not here," said Charlene. "If she was, we would've been invited due to the boss needing you Finn."
Finn realized suddenly that it was in fact the truth. They searched all the parks and yet no sign of Amanda. She wasn't here. He had no idea where she could truly be.
But he had to push those thoughts and tears aside. The people needed their help.
Like right now, a little girl was running with her mother but they both tripped as a green energy snake appeared and prepared to consume, causing them to both scream and cry.
Finn yelled out and charged and swung his sword striking the snake and hurting it.
"The Kingdom Keepers!" the little girl yelled.
"How did you do that?" asked the mother. "People have been throwing sticks and stones and everything at them and they all go through."
"It's magic," said Finn. "Now run. Find somewhere to hide! These monsters won't fully go away unless we take out the master."
The mother nodded and grabbed her daughter, and they ran just as the snake was recovering. The other Keepers came running in and they all slashed down at the snake before it could even recover, causing it to fade away and free all the people inside.
They all ran, thanking the kids, while the Keepers ran into the parks towards Fantasmic.
Fantasmic was not far at all. From the entrance straight and to the right down Sunset Boulevard, it lay. But as they ran into the center of the park, they realized they couldn't just go and face the leader without helping the people.
And so, they charged at the animals still chasing people around.
A bull charged at a group of people, but Finn and Maybeck grabbed it by both horns and using enhanced DHI strength, forced it to stop to allow the others to stab it, killing it and freeing more people.
An eagle swooped down and tried to slash at the girls, but they all dodged and missed, causing it to crash into a building and allow everyone to stab it as well, freeing even more people.
Green energy animal after animal kept coming at them, with no intention of capturing them but only killing everyone but Finn.
And they killed them one by one.
"Useless beasts!" said the voice on the loudspeaker. "This means drastic measures!"
The Keepers wondered what that meant, and then suddenly two giant green energy hands came out of the distance and charged down.
One held Finn on the ground while the others grabbed Maybeck, Charlene, and Jess.
Philby and Willa tried to save them, but then the hand let go of Finn and flicked the two into a pile of rubble knocking them out, allowing it to grab them.
Finn got right up as the hands began floating away with the Keepers and chased after them.
Finn with all his might threw his sword at the hands trying to get one. It managed to hit the one holding Philby and Willa, but it only let go of Willa, who began plummeting towards Earth.
The sword magically came back to Finn, but he didn't care about that. With every ounce of speed he had, he dashed forward and slid across the ground, barely managing to catch the girl before she hit the ground.
Finn panted and gasped as Willa came to, seeing Finn cradle her in his arms.
"Did...did you just save me?" she asked.
"Barely!" he gasped.
Willa smiled and hugged Finn tightly. Finn smiled back and hugged her.
Finn always considered Willa like a sister to him and all the Keepers, even though he already had a sister. It mostly meant that everyone kept out for her safety a lot of times the most.
Being the most innocent of the group, she a lot of times was too scared or too weak to fight. But everyone would always step in to protect her.
"One missing!?" the loudspeaker man yelled again interrupting their tender sibling-like moment. "That will not do! Bring the missing girl to me now or I will kill not only the Keepers I have, but all the other guests I have captured. She must die with them!"
Willa gulped but Finn helped her to her feet.
"I will protect you, nevertheless," he said.
Willa nodded and the two ran off to Fantasmic.
Once they arrived, they saw a horrific sight.
Every remaining park guest was trapped in green balls of energy, with spikes on the inside instead of outside, all on the tops and pointed at them. One wrong move and they would all be impaled.
And on the stage was the Keepers trapped in the two giant hands being controlled by the Revenger behind all this chaos and mayhem.
It was a tall handsome tan-skinned man with pale blue eyes and gray hair, along with a goatee and mustache. He wore white and gold robes and beige poulaine loafer turn shoes.
Finn and Willa gasped. It was none other than the very newest addition to all the Disney villains himself. The one who was said to be the return to the original Disney villain roots.
Not a twist villain, or a redeemed villain.
A full on pure evil madman by the name of King Magnifico from Wish.
Finn and Willa snarled as they slowly walked down the aisles.
"Welcome Kingdom Keepers!" Magnifico exclaimed. "Welcome to my magnificent, or as I would like to call it, my magnifico, performance! Where here, we will finally after several nights and adventures witness the demise of all the Kingdom Keepers at last!"
"Yeah right," snorted Finn. "Like hell that's going to happen!"
"You seriously think you can outwit us or outsmart me?" Magnifico asked. "Let me make all of this clear and simple. You will surrender the girl to me, or this will happen!"
He snapped his fingers and suddenly, all the balls holding the guests began to slowly grow smaller. As they did, Finn and Willa saw the spikes getting slowly closer to all the guests. People screamed and little innocent kids began crying.
"Stop you monster!" Willa yelled. "Have you no heart at all! Those are innocent children!"
"Their fates are in your hands!" Magnifico sadistically said. "Their lives, or yours girly! Make you choice but make it fast!"
Finn suddenly thought of a plan. He managed to whisper it to Willa under the guise that they were negotiating with one another in Magnifico's eyes.
"Okay stop!" Willa suddenly said. "You can have me!"
"Good choice," said the king. He snapped his fingers and the balls stopped shrinking.
He then held out his hand and formed a green bridge across the lagoon.
"Come over," he said.
The Keepers began yelling out to Willa to stop, knowing the minute she crossed the bridge, they were all dead.
However, the minute Willa finished crossing, she yelled out and threw her sword and Finn's sword that she had secretly been given right at the magic hands. They released all the Keepers, and then the swords returned to their owners, including Finn.
"Hold him off or kill him!" Finn yelled. "I will free the guests!"
"Are you crazy!? He's insanely powerful!" Philby yelled.
"Screw that," said Charlene. "We're fighting for our lives!"
The Keepers charged at Magnifico who angrily released a blast of green energy and knocked everyone off their feet.
They quickly recovered and charged again, and Magnifico shot green energy blades at everyone, but they slashed them into nothing with their swords.
Maybeck reached Magnifico first and slashed him shockingly in half, only to realize it was an illusion and the real Magnifico appeared behind him and kicked him onto the ground.
Jess and Willa both charged but Magnifico teleported away, and the girls ended up crashing into one another.
Philby charged at Magnifico, but he threw a green energy whip at him that wrapped around his sword and threw him into the air and onto the ground.
Magnifico laughed menacingly, but the Keepers refused to give up and charged yet again.
Finn desperately tried slashing and stabbing one of the bubbles, but it wouldn't make a scratch. And what was worse was that Magnifico, somehow knowing Finn's fear, created an army of green energy snakes the size of pythons.
He tried to slash them away and kill them, attempting to run over and get the other bubble, but they kept coming and coming again.
They wrapped around his legs and kept tripping him, almost breaking his neck on the chairs.
This just wasn't his night, nor was it the other Keepers'.
They tried everything to strike Magnifico, but without magic, he was too strong.
"How is this guy so powerful, when we were able to defeat Hades and the Horned King and Finn killed Ursula!?" yelled Charlene.
"Oh please, they're old school!" Magnifico said as he blasted energy at Charlene, sending her flying back. "I'm new and better than they could ever be!"
"Oh shut up you sadistic wish stealer!" yelled Jess who charged again.
Magnifico waved his hand and made a green energy wall appear that Jess smashed her face into, causing her nose to start bleeding.
Maybeck and Philby charged as well, but Magnifico made green spikes appear out of the ground and magically stab them through the legs without physically penetrating them but causing great pain.
Willa jumped on Magnifico's back from behind and tried to choke him with her sword, gripping it by the handle and blade as well which caused her hand to cut and bleed, but Magnifico made it magically phases through him, almost causing Willa to slice her neck. He then threw her over his shoulder onto the ground, smashing her into the wooden floors.
Charlene was about to recover when he made a green magic whip and grabbed her by the waist and threw her straight into the water, holding her under for almost longer than a minute, and pulled her out when she was nearly close to drowning.
The Keepers were all too weak to continue fighting, which allowed Magnifico to grab them all in green hands again.
Finn was now wrapped in several green energy snakes and unable to move. And to make matters worse, Magnifico had begun the shrinking process again on the bubbles, forcing Finn to hear the screams of everyone slowly getting close to death.
Magnifico lifted the Keepers with his magic hands into the air.
"I think I'll kill them by smashing them so hard together that their blood and guts spill all over Disney's most popular show!" he exclaimed.
"No please!" Finn yelled. "At least spare the guests! They're innocent. You have the Keepers."
"I know," said Magnifico. "But I just want you to suffer by watching not only your friends, but a ton of innocent people the Kingdom Keepers failed to save die!"
He laughed menacingly.
"NOOOOOO!" Finn yelled struggling to break free.
"And so, ends the legacy of the Kingdom Keepers!" Magnifico exclaimed as he made the hands spread out far, with each Keeper positioned to smash into the other hand.
Finn realized that this was truly the end. They were all about to die. Sure, this meant now he would find out Amanda's location, but this was the end of all his friends he cared dearly about.
"Who could possibly save you all now!?" Magnifico roared menacingly. "WHO CAN STOP ME!?"
And then he snapped his fingers and the hands speed right at one another, preparing to splatter and smash the Keepers to death.
Finn closed his eyes, not wanting to see his friends die. He knew it was about to happen.
"This is truly the end," he said tearfully in his mind.
He simply waited for the sound of those hands smashing together.
Cliffhanger! A Christmas Cliffhanger! Merry Christmas everyone!
But is this really the end!? Are the Keepers really going to die!?
