"You made the right decision, Coralina."

Nodding, Coral followed Rafe down the docks towards his catamaran, "Make sure your shoes are off," he told her, slipping his shoes off and boarding the boat.

Eyeing the boat, she unlaced her boots and slipped her socks off before shoving them inside her boots.

"Okay, we should have enough juice to get us to Saint Lucia, no problem," he said untying the stern mooring lines before heading up to the helm, "Come on, get in the boat," he told her, "Look you can trust me," he added, seeing her hesitate.

Blowing out a breath she nodded before climbing aboard.

"Can you grab the bowline?" he asked, gesturing towards the front of the boat while he went back to starting the boat.

Kneeling, by the cleat she glanced over her shoulder when she felt the engines start, "Hey! Uh, I need help. I can't get it untied," she called.

"What?"

"I need help!" she repeated, "I can't get it undone."

"Christ, do I have to do everything," she heard him mutter, coming around the wheel and sliding down the front of the boat to where she stood at the bow.

"Sorry," she apologized as he climbed over the rail to untie the line.

"It's fine," he responded, throwing the line clear of the boat.

"No. I am really sorry," she told him before shoving him with all of her strength off the boat. She was already climbing up into the helm when she heard him splash into the water below. Getting behind the wheel she pushed the throttle forward as she began to maneuver out of the boat slip.

"Coralina! Coralina, what the fuck!"

"I'm sorry! I have to help my friends!" she yelled back in response to Rafe screaming from the water.

"I'm done! You're dead to me! Coralina!"

Wincing, Coral ignored his screams as she drove the boat away from the flailing boy.

Once she was clear of the harbor she pulled the phone they'd stolen from Fenton out of her pocket, "Okay, let's figure out where we are," she mumbled hitting google maps. Finding another harbor on the other side of the island she steered the boat towards it.

Knowing the boat alone could cause people to look, she maneuvered it as quickly as possible into the slip before tying the mooring lines. Glancing around for any of Singh's men, she disappeared down below. Trying to decide how she was going to find JJ and the others, she scrolled through the phone contacts thinking about how they had texted Singh using Jimmy's phone.

Getting to the J's she looked for Jimmy's name, "Damn," she muttered not seeing it. Biting her lip, she kept scrolling till she hit the P's, "Yes!" she whispered, finding a contact under Portis.

Hoping they still had Jimmy's phone she sent a message with her location. While she waited she went into the pictures and pulled up the painting that had caught her eye and sent it to her email and Kiara's, "Just in case," she said to herself hitting send.

Ding, Ding,...Ding, Ding

Furrowing her brow, she moved to the steps leading up to the deck as she strained to hear the bells ringing.

Ding, Ding,...Ding, Ding

Sucking in a breath she blinked back tears as she sat on the steps. It was the exact same pattern her father used to call her and her brother in from the marsh. Leaning her head against the wall she closed her eyes as she listened to the bells ringing.

Jolting, Coral realized she'd dozed off. Glancing at the time on the phone she swore; getting to her feet she made her way cautiously onto the deck. Keeping low she searched the harbor for any sign of Singh's men, Rafe, or her friends hoping they'd gotten her message.

She felt like her heart was going to explode when she caught sight of the back of a boy wearing camo shorts, a blue chambray shirt, and a ridiculous fisherman's hat. His blonde hair was sticking out of the bottom of his hat, "JJ," she breathed.

Turning the boy tipped his hat back further so she could see his face. Laughing in relief she called his name again as she hurried down the boat steps to the dock, "JJ!" she cried, hurrying across the dock and into his arms.

"I'm so glad you're safe," he whispered into her ear as he squeezed her tightly, "God, Coral."

"I'm okay," she assured him, "I didn't think I'd ever see you again," she said, stepping back. Running his hands through her hair he ran them down her face before bending and kissing the breath out of her, "I love you."

"I love you too," she murmured against his lips.

"Coral!"

Breaking away from JJ, she leaned around him to see Cleo, Pope, Kie, Sarah, and John B all racing across the dock towards her. Surrounded by JJ, her friends, and her brother, Coral finally felt safe.

"Are you kidding me?" JJ laughed, gesturing towards the boat once the pogue hug had dispersed.

"Is this you?" Pope questioned, looking at the massive boat.

Nodding, Coral smiled, "I kind of borrowed it."

"Borrowed it from who?" Cleo asked as they made their back to the boat she'd stolen from Rafe.

"Rafe," she answered, looking at Sarah, "He's on island, and after what I did to him his crazy crush on me is probably not gonna stop him from taking his revenge. So, with him and Singh's men after us I think we should get the hell out of here," she told them.

"Couldn't agree more," Pope said, "Alright, John B and Sarah head up and get the sails ready," he instructed, "You two," he said pointing to Coral and JJ, "Get the stern line. We'll get the bow," he said, gesturing to himself, Cleo, and Kie.

Nodding, they each went to separate ends of the boat to prepare to sail home.

"Yeah, so I have just a couple of questions," JJ said, looking up at Coral from the dock as she stood on the deck of the boat.

"Go ahead."

"A Lagoon 620 with twin 150 Volvos," he stated, as he moved to work the mooring lines loose, "You understand we can go anywhere with this thing, right?"

"I know, kind of a piece of shit," she deadpanned, making a face at him.

"Way to be discreet, by the way," he laughed, before turning serious, "What did they want anyway? They didn't hurt you did they?"

"No. No, I'm good," she reassured him again, "We don't have the time to get into it right now, but basically Singh wanted Denmark's diary."

"Why?" he questioned, confused.

"I don't know. Said it leads to a treasure that's a lot bigger than the Merchant," she told him.

"You're saying there's a bigger treasure?" he asked, climbing back aboard the boat, "Well, then, shit, sign me up," he laughed, pulling her to him and kissing her.

"Alright break it up. We need to get out of here," Kie reminded them laughing.

Stepping back from JJ, Coral smiled, "I can't help I missed kissing this face," she giggled, squishing JJ's cheeks together till he looked like a fish. Smacking her lips against his she let him go before climbing up into the helm where Sarah and John B were still tying down the sails.

"Sarah, that's exactly what my dad would do to call us home," she heard John B saying as she reached the top of the ladder, "Coral! You hear it too, don't you?" he asked, catching sight of his sister, "That ding, ding….ding, ding. That's him calling us home."

Blinking, she looked between her frantic brother and a sympathetic Sarah before slowly nodding, "I hear them too, JB, but it's not Daddy," she responded, quietly.

"How do you know that?"

"You know why, John B," Sarah said.

"No, no, no, no, no," he denied, shaking his head at her, "Maybe you get beaten enough, you aren't able to see the miracle in front of you. I mean, that's exactly how he used to call us home. Maybe it is him. Maybe the universe is trying to give us a gift, and."

"Okay!" Sarah interrupted.

"What?" both John B and Coral questioned at the same time.

"Okay, I get it. You wanna go to the tower to go look? Then go look," Sarah told him, "It's what he needs to do," she said to Coral who started to protest.

"I don't think this is a good idea."

"If there's any chance, Coral, I have to go."

Staring at her brother, she finally sighed, "Fine," she relented, "But hurry up, and take one of the phones with you," she instructed.

"Done!" he exclaimed, plucking the phone Sarah held out of her hand, "Thank you. I love you," he said, kissing Sarah quickly before hurrying towards his sister, "Are you coming?" he asked, stopping in front of her.

Pressing her lips together, she shook her head, "I can't do it again, JB."

Nodding, he kissed her forehead, "I love you," he told her before practically jumping off the boat to the dock.

"Hey! John B where are you going?" Pope called.

"I'll be back!" he yelled over his shoulder, "I love you guys!" he called, running down the dock.

"What the hell!" JJ exclaimed, looking up at Coral standing at the top of the ladder leading to the helm.

"The bells," she told him, holding up her hand as the distinct ringing was heard again.

Furrowing his brow, JJ listened to the pattern confused before realization dawned on his face, "It's not him, Babygirl," he said, climbing up the ladder.

"I know. It's why I didn't go with him," she responded, letting him pull her into his arms.

"What's so wrong with the bells?" Cleo asked as she, Pope, and Kie climbed up into the helm too.

"When we were younger it's how Big John would call them back from fishing out on the marsh," JJ answered.

"You could hear that damn bell clear across the Cut," Pope remembered, smiling.

"But he has to know that can't be Big John," Kie spoke up, "You should've never let him leave."

"I know my brother. He's like a dog with a bone. He would've drove us nuts if he didn't go," Coral replied.

"I concur with Coral on that one," Sarah agreed.

"Look, all I'm saying is that they already took one of us. It's dangerous to sit here," Kie said.

"I know that. I was there remember? Singh killed Jimmy pretty much right in front of me and Rafe."

"Yo, what?" JJ questioned looking at her in concern, "You said they didn't hurt you."

"They didn't," she reassured him, "But they could have, and as much as it pains me to say it or owe him, Rafe made sure I got out of there too. He could've left me."

"Always seeing the good in people," JJ muttered, shaking his head.

"Yeah, I'm with JJ on this one. He may have helped you, Coral, but Rafe Cameron is not your friend," Pope agreed.

"I'm not stupid," she scoffed, "All I'm saying is that I know what kind of men are after us but John B had to do this too," she shrugged looking at Kie who nodded.

"We give him the time, then," Sarah told them before striding across the deck and looking out across the marina towards where John B had run off to.

"You only told me some of it. You wanna tell us everything, since we have the time now?" JJ asked, taking Coral's hand and pulling her down next to him on the deck. Sighing, she looked around at Cleo and Pope who were making themselves comfortable on the deck and at Kie sitting in the captain's chair.

"He wants Denmark's diary."

"Why?"

"Like I told JJ, he thinks it'll lead to a bigger treasure," she answered Pope shrugging, "He told us some story about El Dorado, the city of gold. Some Spanish soldier said he got gold from an indigenous tribe out of the Orinoco Basin like 450 years ago," she told them, "He thinks the diary will help him find El Dorado."

"He sounds seriously unhinged," Cleo commented.

"Maybe, but you should've seen the artifacts in this guy's house. He's a man who does his homework," Coral responded, "Like look at this," she said, pulling Fenton's phone out of her pocket. Pulling up the picture she'd taken she showed it to them.

"I think that's the Spanish soldier kneeling in front of some weird looking statue," she showed them, "I don't know why but it caught my eye. I sent a copy to my email and Kie's."

"Why does Kiara get a copy?"

"Cuz I couldn't remember yours," she laughed, sticking her tongue out at Pope.

"Uh, guys!" Kie exclaimed sitting up straight as she looked out over the harbor, "Guys! Incoming!"

Scrambling to their feet they saw trucks, motorcycles, and atvs crossing the bridge into the marina, "That's Singh's men," Cleo realized.

"John B isn't back yet."

"JJ, what do we do?" Pope questioned, frantically.

"We gotta make a stand. That's what we gotta do," he answered, pulling out the gun he had stashed in the back of his waistband.

"What?" Coral exclaimed, "Where the hell did you get that?"

"That's not an option!" Kie yelled, "We need to just go!"

"Kiara, we're not splitting up again!" JJ responded, ignoring Coral.

"We're not leaving John B," Pope declared, "No pogue left behind!"

"Damn it!" Sarah swore, "We don't have an option. He wouldn't want us getting caught," she told them all, pushing her way to the wheel and starting the boat. Hitting the throttle she began making her way out of the harbor passing Singh's guards who were pulling weapons up and aiming at them.

"We can't just leave him like that!"

"JJ, get down!" Coral screamed, dropping to the deck with the others as shots were fired at them. Crawling across the deck, she took JJ's hand, "We'll find him. He'll be okay."
