Hydra's Secret Weapon
Chapter 1
"Time. Space. Reality. It's more than a linear path. It's a prism of endless possibility. Where a single choice can branch out into infinite realities, creating alternate worlds from the ones you know. Each a reflection of what could have been. Some heroes will rise, others will fall. And nothing will be the same. I am the Watcher. I am your guide through these vast new realities. Follow me and dare to face the unknown, and ponder the question... What if?"
Hydra Secret Headquarters
When Madame Viper plays, she plays for keeps. The deadly Hydra assassin didn't like to lose, but at the same time couldn't deny that her latest defeat at the hands of the Red Skull's new top agent wasn't well earned. Spider-Man was just far more skilled than she was, having trained under the legendary Nebo, and always seemed to be one step ahead of her when locked in fierce combat. The more they sparred the more pronounced the gap between their skills became.
She hated that. Even before he was imbued with the scientist's newest version of a super soldier serum, he was deadly. His instincts were already sharp but now they seemed to be even more refined. When she asked him how it was he always knew when to dodge or attack he simply would reply with, "I just know things."
When they worked together in the field it was the same. More often than not he would have a sense for where the enemy was and when they would strike. The Scientists referred to it as a spider-sense to go along with his theme and skill set. He could do anything a spider can and appeared to have some sort of precognitive ability to sense danger and where it was coming from. That's why he always seemed to be one step ahead of her in a combat scenario.
As she lay on the ground looking up at the lights, she still felt his grasp on her wrist. She turned her head slightly to find him looking down at her. He was covered from head-to-toe in all black with a striking shade of red around the torso and head. There was also a large black spider emblem on his chest that matched perfectly with the midnight visors in his mask. Even with his face covered, she could tell he had a smug grin on his face.
"What does that make our record now? I lost count." He spoke in that teasing tone that she been forced to become accustom. She hated it, but also loved it at the same time. She knew his teasing of her didn't come from a place of malice and that he was genuinely having a good time planting her on her back.
"0 and 13 is where the record stands." She replied with a roll of her eyes. She would never admit it, but she too had fun even in defeat. If she'd have lost to anyone else, then she'd be left fuming. With Peter he didn't just try and beat her into the ground, he gave her opportunities every once in a while, to try something different that may or may not work on somebody else. Each spar was a learning experience that she took to heart.
"Been keeping track, have we?" He chuckled. He was only this playful when it was just the two of them or when he was among the very few friends he could really have within Hydra. When he was around more senior members or higher ups, he was mostly all business with only a hint of pleasure. "Didn't know you cared so much."
"I don't but I'll take any opportunity to improve." She shrugged. It wasn't a total lie, she did like honing her skills and her intense training had paid off the last time she squared up against the Black Widow. It was a really close fight and while she didn't manage to land the killing blow, she did succeed in knocking Colonel Nick Fury's favorite agent out cold. "Anyway, do you mind helping me up?"
Spider-Man tapped his chin in mock thought before finally reaching a decision. "Nah." Instead, he let go of her wrist and took a seat on the ground next to her. He turned to face her and saw the annoyed scowl on her face that wasn't completely earnest. "I'd rather just lie here with you."
It was no secret that Madame Viper was quite the beauty. A fair-skinned young woman with long dark hair and green eyes. She almost always dressed for combat in that tight sleeveless green bodysuit of her that only served to highlight her athletic hourglass figure and matching elbow length gloves. Completing her attire were two lime green belts that housed her pistols and a pair of lime green boots.
"You and just about everyone else." She quipped back. She knew she was stunning and used that fact to her advantage more than once.
"True, but I'm the only one that actually gets to." He spoke confidently. wrapping an arm around her back and pulling her in closer.
Viper didn't blush or fight him, not because she couldn't but rather because he spoke the truth. No other man in Hydra was worthy enough to do so. She smiles wickedly instead as she uses her hand to trace down his cheek before reaching for the hem of his mask. "That you do."
She found what she was looking for and casually lifted Spider-Man's mask over his mouth and stopped just above his nose. She leaned herself in closer and planted her green painted lips onto his. She lightly hummed into his mouth, and he didn't waste any time in reciprocating her actions. He held her tighter, more possessively, and she quickly did the same. Spider-Man was hers and vice-versa, and while they were alone, they could share a private moment away from prying eyes.
Thet eventually broke away for some much-needed air and before Spider-Man could go for another kiss, Madame Viper stopped his lips with her hand. "That's enough for now Spider, someone might walk in and see." She then caught him off guard by rolling on top of him and straddling his waist. "But next time we're out, just the two of us..."
She let her words hang in the air before climbing off the now blushing man. She extended her hand which he gladly accepted after calming down. As he went to roll down his mask, she gave him a light pat on the arm before sashaying away. The swing of her hips was almost mesmerizing. He was definitely looking forward to their next team-up mission. More so than the other ones.
Meanwhile in another part of Hydra HQ, a pair of cold eyes watched the interaction between he and the Madame closely. His features were rough and skeletal like, and his skin was a deep shade of crimson. The Red Skull was his name and was taking great amusement in observing his top investment as it were. A dark smile crossed his near nonexistent lips as he locked his hands together. "Excellent."
END...?
Author's Notes: So, I just had this random idea to pair Spider-Man with Madame Viper. This is of course an alternate reality where events have swung in a completely new direction and this story will be a series of loosely connected One-Shots. At least that's my initial idea. I don't really have a plan and I'm making things up as I go. Let me know what you guys think and have a happy holiday!
