Do you know what a broken heart feels like? Let me tell you. It hurts like a thousand knives piercing you all at once. The pain grows and intensifies with every passing second. Tears fill your eyes blurring your vision, so you stumble down a path away from pain desperate to outrun it. You've never been hurt this badly. So desperate to be rid of the pain to be rid of the tears you do the only thing you can think to.

Or rather the only thing I could think to do. I ripped my own heart out and for a moment just a moment I considered crushing it grinding it to sand between my fingers. But then the cold set in. The impenetrable armor. Nothing could hurt me anymore there was no holding back no restrictions nothing to stop me. No conscience No Angel on My Shoulder. So I put the heart away locked it up tight where no one could find it and went to exact Revenge.

…...

My heart was broken there was like, no other way to put it. The wedding bells were ringing but this was far from the best day of my life. It was a nightmare. She'd been crushed, forced to watch me propose to a stranger. Before Mai Lei had arrived everything had been perfect, the colors brighter, the world happier when I had Christina by my side, holding her hand I could take on the world.

I could only trust she'd save me now.

...

The bells were clanging overhead as the space filled with solemn 'guests'. Weddings were supposed to be happy occasions but this was more akin to a funeral service. The bride's 'family' smirked with evil glints in their eyes, Sugie Rogers their captive until the service was finished. On the groom's side, there were mournful tears, friends, and family though powerful realizing their hands were tied

at the altar Shaggy stood, tears running down his face while Mai Lei-a monster in every sense of the word-looked the part of the happiest bride. She said I do before the vow was even finished.

"Remember," she added in a whisper just loud enough for Shaggy to hear, "Sugie's watching"

"Do you Shaggy take Mai Lei to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love and cherish for all eternity?"

Everyone was watching.

The blood was pounding through his veins.

"I"

Mai Lei squeezed his hands, her nails briefly shifting to claws in warning.

"I"

Save me, Christy! He inwardly pleaded.

"I d-"

The doors blew from their hinges, the floor scorched by wicked violet flames. A wave of shock and awe went through all in attendance as Christina Rose Shadowfae Dracula strode confidently through the fading flames. Even with her dragon wings cloaked around her shoulders, the black, loose sleeves and long skirt flowed with flame-like edges while on her torso she wore nothing but a dark metallic breastplate that only just preserved her modesty. All-in-all, this ensemble was not like her at all. And with her raven Shade on her shoulder and a staff in her hand, she looked intimidating; terrifying even.

"How DARE you crash MY wedding!", Mai Lei sniped with a smirk. "You're not fooling anyone! You're just embarrassing yourself trying to look all 'Mistress of Darkne...!"

"SILENCE!", Christina roared, shocking everyone to silence, and a surge of hope in Shaggy's heart.

"Christina! Thank the Moon and all the Go...!", he started, stepping toward her, only for the icy fire in her eyes to make him pause.

"I SAID SILENCE! You made your choice, Norville. And you will pay for it. But first...YOU AND YOURS, YOU VILE VERMIN!", Christina screamed as she burned Mai Lei and her entire family to ash with dark-fae hellfire!

Panic ensued as everyone scrambled to escape. Shaggy tried to reach Christina, only to be stopped by his parents and Duncan. "Like, I have to...!"

"SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH HER, SHAGGY!", Duncan urged.

"He's right, Cousin", Clawdeen added. "Her scent is off. Christy's not herself."

"THAT'S RIGHT, FOOLS! RUN! THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING! YOU AND ALL THE REALMS HAVE ONLY BEGUN TO FEEL MY WRATH! YOU WILL ALL SUFFER FOR WHAT WAS DONE TO ME! But none more than YOU, Norville! I'm saving you for last so you can WATCH all the suffering and destruction; knowing that it's ALL YOUR FAULT!"

With that, Christina disappeared in a burst of purple flames.

…...

Confused and scared for Christina more than himself, Shaggy led the others to her home which they found heavily enchanted, locked down like a military base.

"Hello?" Frankie called, stepping toward the barrier, "Is anyone home?"

"Kids," Alissa appeared before them, "Come in, come in quickly"

The group was ushered inside, the doors slamming shut behind them. Alissa grimly led them from the foyer to the living room where Maleficent stood t the window, Radu sat beside the stone cold fireplace with his head in his hands, shoulders shaking with barely suppressed sobs.

"Christina, she-" Duncan began slowly.

"She ripped out her heart," Maleficent turned from the window, cold, calm.

"Like, she did WHAT?"

"You hurt her so terribly that she ripped out her heart to stop the pain but in doing so she removed that which makes her, her, without it I fear we're all in danger," Maleficent explained.

"I had no choice, they had my sister they were going to kill her!"

"You don't need to explain yourself," Alissa laid a comforting hand on his shoulder, "We know"

"There has to be a way to save her!" Clawdeen declared, " It's Christina!"

"The only way to save her is to restore her heart and the only one who can do that is you, Shaggy" Alissa wearily sank into the nearest seat.

"Me?" Shaggy asked. "But, but she wants to like, kill me!"

"And that is the predicament if she succeeds in killing Shaggy there will be no saving her, her heart so consumed by grief will simply wither even if restored"

"But, where IS her heart?" Kenny finally spoke up, nervously.

"We have no idea, she's hidden it somewhere even I can't detect"

"Ve're racing against the clock here," Radu spoke up, wiping tears from his eyes, "Everyone knows she crashed the vedding, she's going on a rampage"

"Rampage?"

"Seeking revenge for every wrong done to her"

The more they learned the less this sounded like Christina. It sounded like the vilest of villains.

"We'll start with all of Christina's favorite places," Clawdeen declared, "Melinda can come with us, between the three of us Christy won't be able to get close to Shaggy,"

"And ve'll keep watch from here," Radu decided.

"It's going to be difficult but I'm sure we can keep Christina from hurting too many people"

"Even if it is in some way deserved"

"MOTHER!"

"Then why are we wasting time here?" Duncan glanced at the setting sun, "Let's go, Gang!"

…...

Well, that was something. A much better take on the Evil story. Though I only know a few things and am otherwise flying by the seat of my pants per usual. I invite you to review and speculate.
