"Fanfic through the Ages": Write a special crossover fanfic of a character from a 1990s show, book, or video game and a character from a 2000s show, book, or game meeting in a different 2010s universe.

I'm not sure if the world is ready for a story quite like this. I wrote this story in 2017 and it is my magnum opus. It's a thrilling tale of adventure, drama, and love. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it, or should I say documenting this true story.

His life started in darkness and he never quite remembered how he welcomed the first light, which was probably for the best. He did remember absolutely everything that came after, though, which wasn't for the best at all. Destiny didn't survive to see even the Friendly Arm Inn, though, so that was something.

Kaius Desin has mixed luck. Given a second chance during the Emperor's ill-fated escape attempt from assassins, it is uncertain whether the potential apocalypse, his new vampiric nature, or his Drow companion will kill him first.
