Loud cries of enjoyment come from the crowd below the stage, many fans waving at the cobalt hedgehog and screaming his name - except for one. An ebony hedgehog who seemed to be completely entranced by the azure one on stage. Sonic bows and waves at his fans, saying his thanks along with goodbyes.

"Jeez! That was one heck of a show, wasn't it Tails?"The cerulean one nudged the younger two-tailed fox, grinning at him. Tails was a 10 year old boy who was extremely smart, gaining the title 'kid genius.' Sonic was like an older brother to him and the two had started learning how to play instruments after Sonic was able to buy Tails a keyboard when he was 6. "Yeah! There was so many people out there!"

"Hey, Sonic! There's someone out front who wants to talk to you!" The loud voice of the echidna drummer echoed into the room behind the stage, Sonic ruffled the fur atop Tails' head and sped off to see who was waiting for him.

"Damn it, Shadow! Why did you come back here?! That song was probably for some girl he likes, there's no way it was for you!" Shadow berated himself mentally, hands in his pocket while his foot tapped rapidly against the concrete flooring. The ebony hedgehog pulled out his right hand and pushed his sleeve back to check his watch. The show had ended twenty minutes ago, meaning he had been stood here for six because he had gotten caught up with his friend Rouge, delaying him significantly.

"Hey! What can I do for ya? Is it an autograph?-..." The azure mobian had pretty much popped up out of nowhere and was stood in front of Shadow, leaning against the doorframe that lead behind the stage. He cut himself off before he could say anymore when he saw who it was. Shadow the Hedgehog, a longtime fan of his who attended every live performance he and his friends put on without fail. The two hedgehogs hadn't interacted very much but that didn't stop them from becoming rather friendly with one another. Sonic stumbled for something to say and eventually ended up with a very boring; "Hello."

"Yes, hello." Shadow repeated, crossing his arms and keeping his usual blank expression. The two hedgehogs just stood there in silence until Shadow broke it. "May... May I ask you something, Mr Hedgehog?" Sonic cringed inside as he was called 'Mr Hedgehog.' Shadow had addressed him as such since the first time they spoke even though he had given him permission to call him Sonic. "It's Sonic - like I've said a million times - and sure, ask away."

"Mr Hedgehog, did you- did you write that song-"

"SONIC!!"

"Great, here comes the pink nuance." Shadow thought while rolling his eyes as Amy Rose ran over to Sonic and wrapped him up in a bear hug. The ebony hybrid took a step back and observed as the pink hedgehog suffocated the azure one, gritting his teeth as he crossed his arms and refrained from tearing Amy Rose off of Sonic.

"Ack! A-Amy! I can't breathe!" Sonic wheezed, pulling her arms off of himself and taking a step back. He looked up at where Shadow should have been stood and noticed that he was gone, the cobalt hedgehog looked around and saw him walking off towards a car that was presumably his. "Dang it! That was probably my only chance at telling him about the song! Thanks a lot, Amy.." He grimaced, a frown apearing on his peach muzzle as he just stood and watched Shadow drive off, ignoring Amy's attempts at regaining his attention.
