This is a story of two teammates, who spent the weekend together while their team was away, and discovered they have a lot more in common than they realized as unspoken feelings and truth unravel as they unintentionally cross lines and breach trust of friendships and loyalties, for one weekend to explore the possibilities that if circumstances were different..could they be different ?!

Today was like any ordinary day for our favorite teenage band of heroes, in jump city in our favorite T-shaped tower that stood a few feet away from the the city overlooking it's protection. This was the home of the Teen Titans, residing in this home was the young teen leader Robin(Dick Grayson) with his trusty teammates and friends Cyborg (Vic Stone), Beast-Boy (Garfield Logan), Raven (Rachel Roth) and Starfire(Koriand'r AKA Kory). The team had been through many trials and obstacles, and learning more about their strengths and weaknesses, including protecting the city and learning valuable life lessons about themselves and their own teammates that made them by far one of the greatest young superhero team the world has ever known. From overcoming adversaries such as Slade Wilson(Deathstoke), Mad mod, Johnny 13, Dr. Light, Mambo, the Hive 5, Brushogun, Brother Blood, The Brotherhood Of Evil, and even Trigon, the list just goes on. So it was safe to say their track record was none other than impressive. This was a team of heroes with more than enough experience and knowledge on what it means to be called "heroes", they were a fully functional capable team, that they even gained praise from the famous Justice League. So the titans were earned and deserving of their respect, dedicating their lives to protecting people and doing what's right.
Now we start the day off in the living room area/briefing room with our teammates, all hanging out and having a good time with each other as they were getting ready to head out and pack their belongings for the weekend. It wasn't a particular occasion or anything like that. This was simply time for some of the teammates to get away for the weekend and enjoy themselves, for some much needed R from all their battles. Starfire was heading home to her planet Tamaran to spend time with her family, BeastBoy was heading to Hawaii with the Titans East, and Cyborg was going on a Caribbean Cruise with Bumblebee and wouldn't be back until late Tuesday. The only ones who decided to stay behind was Robin and Raven. Raven wasn't much of a family person, or social person so to speak so she didn't mind staying home and just chilling in the city. She would've found something to keep her entertained, one way or another. As for Robin, being the prodigal ex-sidekick to the worlds greatest detective, he did his usual investigative work to make sure there was no crimes or trouble in the city, fighting crime was in his blood, and he was damn good at it. So he decided to stick this one out too as well and watch over jump city. After they finished packing, everyone met out on the landing deck for the T-ship.
Cyborg: Well, alright. It's time y'all. Time to get our boogie on, and enjoy some fun in the sun for the team that's number 1. Yo, BB, Star, you guys ready ?
BeastBoy: Dude I was born ready!(Putting on his sunglasses) I got everything I need to make sure this trip is gonna be totally sweet. I'm always up for a Vaca.
Starfire: Agreed. While I am sadden to be away from my friends, since I'll be the only one actually "getting away", besides, I am most happy to go home and see my people again and to see the state of Tamaran now that my k'norfka is ruler.
Robin:(Carrying some of Starfire luggage to the T-ship trunk) I bet the time with your family will be fine Star. It's always good to get away, we all been working hard non-stop to ensure the safety of our city. So this will be good for everyone.
Beastboy: Easy, for you to say Mr. Junior Detective. You hardly ever go out, it's like you eat, sleep, and breath a life of combat. Seriously dude, you a Raven are two peas in a pod. You guys need to get out more. Hahaha
Raven:(Giving Beastboy a death stare) ...
Cyborg: BB's right. Are you sure you guys don't want to head anywhere this weekend? Mini Vacations like this don't come to often, I'd be more than willing to drop you guys off somewhere.
Raven: I'm fine. There nowhere I really want to go. And a quiet weekend in the tower, will do just fine for me.
Robin: I hear that Raven. A nice weekend home, is more than enough for me. Crime doesn't take a Vacation, and I'm always looking for ways to improve myself and get better. And if trouble does arrive, me and Raven are more than enough to handle things. Go on, enjoy yourself. We'll be fine.
Cyborg: Alright then suit, yourselves. (Gearing up the T-ship). It's time everybody, say your goodbyes now, cause we take off in 2 minutes. First stop, Titans East.
Starfire: Well this is it. Until we return.(Holding up Robin's hands in hers)Please enjoy yourselves and be safe. I don't want anything to happen to you too while we're away. Are you sure you don't want me to stay behind ?
Robin:(Giving her a warm smile) Seriously Babe, it's fine. I promise we'll be okay. Go have fun, and give Galfore my regards for me will ya, tell him I wish him well.
Starfire:(Giving him a loving hug) Your the best, my love and I will...so behave while I'm gone.(Giving him a few goodbye kisses on the lips before they all left.) See you guys later my friends.(Jumping into her pod in the ship) And Have fun.
BeastBoy: Later, dudes. Catch you on the flip side.(Jumping in his podspace)
The T-ship was reeving up its engine more as it started to hover higher into the sky, right before it turned away the team said their final goodbyes to each other as it turned east, and the rocket exploded with a loud boom as it took off with great speed into the sky, it didn't take long before the T-Ship was out of sight. And our two Hero's were left alone free to have a "Titan Free Weekend" to enjoy the peace and serenity having some time for themselves. But unknown to the two, it would soon be a weekend they would never forget.
We continue this story with our two heroes, relaxing in the living room watching a little TV, enjoying the quietness of the tower, it was so peaceful and calm that one could actually miss the energy and personalities the team brought with them that gave it so much life, but they made the decision and were going to do their best to enjoy themselves for once, because it's not too often that the team will get to have mini vacations, and the tower would be completely empty for the most part. Robin was on one of the front computers, doing his usual detective work/tower inspections to make sure everything was on the up and up. There have been times when bad guys would be able to hack into their system and hit them with a surprise attack that left the tower, devastated and destroy, so to prevent that Robin was making sure that everything was up-to-date, and nothing was out of order. You could say that was a trait he learned from being with Batman that made him so thorough in his work, it was also one of the great traits he displayed in being a true leader, always worrying about the safety of his team, as well as his city. Raven, on the other hand, while she was meditating on the couch, hovering over it, she found that her focus was for some reason off today, and it was making her slightly agitated with the feeling. Deciding that she couldn't get her concentration in order, she decided to take a load off and relax on the couch and flip through the television to see what was on TV but as usual, nothing good was on, that kept her interested long enough to watch...or care.
Raven: (Sigh) This is just fantastic. (Flipping through the channels)...just splendid.
Robin: Hmm, what's wrong ? (Still observing his monitor)
Raven: Unlimited access to over 1000 channels, and I can't find anything to watch.
Robin: Well that's not surprising. You don't really watch TV too much, usually it's beastboy, cyborg, or StarFire, who are the ones usually finding something to watch on TV. And they be the ones inviting the team to having movie nights on Fridays so I can't say I'm all that surprised...I'm MORE shocked your even here at all.
Raven: What do you mean? (Wondering Curiously)
Robin: Oh it's nothing, it's just that usually 8 out of 10 you're somewhere meditating and you don't really watch TV like that honestly to begin with so it was kind of surprising is all.
Raven: I'm hurt you'd say that, because we're two peas in a pod If you ask me. We both have serious "tunnel vision", that focus and discipline is something we're very much familiar with.
Robin: (Turning off the monitor) Well I can't argue with you there. I'm used to this kind of stuff way before I even decided to join a team and go solo after I left working with Batman. So this kind of stuff is normal for me, so in a way I understand where you're coming from completely, trust me Raven you're fine... although what Beastboy said is right though.
Raven: And that would beee...?
Robin: That we're workaholics.(Turning his chair to face her) Now don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining about it at all, it's that fact that we have that much focus is the reason why we're so good at what we do and how we can contribute to the team. But I really do think we really should take a load off this weekend and try to relax, maybe go into town and have some fun and if trouble arises like I told the others we're more than enough to handle it.
Raven's Thoughts:
Raven thought about it, and he made sense. Opportunities like these don't come around a lot when your a superhero. And it's not like it was the whole team there, it was just her and Robin for the ENTIRE WEEKEND. And secretly deep down, Raven actually enjoyed Robin's company because unlike most people he REALLY understood her on a deeper level. There have been times in the past where they bonded with each other on a spiritual connection. Like the time, when Slade tried to take over Robin's mind and destroy him from the inside-out when she entered into his mind, she saw Robins past. Vice versa on her side, when her father Trigon tried to enslave humanity and destroy his own daughter. It was Robin who was by her side, giving her hope and ensuring he would do whatever it took to protect her and keep her safe. When the odds were against them, and she was sure that the team had no chance of defeating him, Robin pushed through the despair, and found a way back to her and gave her the strength she needed to face her father and sealed him away. There were other times two, but overall he was someone she didn't mind cutting loose with for once and stepping out of her comfort zone for, he made her the most comfortable, he never judged her not once, he pushed her to be her better self, If anybody had to see her like that, she didn't mind if it was him, because he was cut from a different cloth, and it secretly was attractive to her. Raven would never admit this to anybody, but, just like with Starfire, she too had develop feelings for him, but that was a secret, she was willing to take to the grave.
After a few minutes of thinking it over, Raven decided that it wasn't a bad idea after all and decided to go with it too.
Raven:...Alright fine.(crossing her legs, and folding her arms sitting on the couch) What did you have in mind then?
Robin: (Thinking) Well...how about we go for a ride into town on my RedBird, and do a quick sweep of the city. Then if everything is cool, we can go to one of my favorite restaurants I like then catch a movie, after that we can head to the liquor store, pick up a few drinks and chill back in the crib. How does that sound ?!
Raven:(Smirking with a slight smile) Hhmp. Well look at you Mr. Evening planner. That actually doesn't sound half bad.
Robin: Thanks, I had a feeling that might've been something you like. But anyway, Let's not waste the night away. Let's get changed and meet back up here in say...30 minutes ?!
Raven: Sounds good to me.
~30 Minutes Later~
The two reemerged back in the living room dressed for the night and ready to go. For Robin, he wore some black slim fit pants, and a dark blue Shirt, but was covered by a black & blue hoodie mix that had a small blue hawk on the left Breast area and a bigger one on the backside. He topped it off with wearing the 2022 Air Jordan 5 Retro 'Racer Blue' shoes, He still wore his signature mask to cover his eyes to conceal his identity but overall he was looking nice for a outing in the city. And For Raven she wore a purple anarchy short sleeve T-shirt, with some black leggings as well. And some black and purple REBEL 'Urge To Purge' X9X Sneakers. So it was safe to say both of them were looking good in there respective rights to have some fun tonight and we're ready to make the most of it. The team went out in regular clothes before to blend in with the crowd so this was nothing new to them. Part of being a hero was learning how to move incognito if the situation ever demanded for it and play things from a civilian perspective, and they had plenty of times where they had to work undercover so it was part of the job. All the same though, this was their only time if not many chances where they can play the background and be normal young adults with normal young adult lives. Those were moments that were just as precious as being a hero.
Robin: (Fixing his hoodie) Well Rae.. look at you. You look nice, incredible actually.
Raven: (Slight smile) Thanks. And so do you too. I just wanted to do something simple, not to much. (Looking at him again) Interesting choice of colors too.
Robin: Hehehe. (Rubbing the back of his head) Well there's a reason for that. But I'll tell you about it later. You ready to go Rae ? (Looking at her with a soft smile)
Raven: (Blushing) Yeah...and Robin...
Robin: Hmm.?? What's up ?!
Raven: (Looking away in embarrassment) ..Tonight.. while we're out..Could you Call me by my name?...my real name ?
Robin: (Giving a smile of affirmation and comfort while holding out his hand for her to grab) Sure thing.. Rachel. Now let's go.
~Jump City ~
It was a smooth night riding through the streets as our two heroes were taking in the nightlife of the town and all its activities. People were all over the sidewalk going to places here and there, with a nice amount of traffic and cars out in the road, jump city was lit up tonight on this cool Friday night and showed no signs on dying down and it was only a fresh 8 o' clock. Our hero's were riding and slipping through traffic with ease. Robin was in full control the way he worked his motorcycle and Raven was sitting behind him, enjoying riding past all the festivities of the night, and not only that, riding with her secret crush was number #1. Honestly to her, anything with him she wouldn't have minded at all. Even something simple like going out to get something to eat, she would have insisted on coming with him just off the strength alone to spend time with him. After a few minutes of riding around, and not seeing any IMMEDIATE danger, Robin decided to take the high around and get a look of the city from an aerial view. He and Raven were sitting on a tall building overlooking everything, while Raven was doing her surveillance, Robin was too as well until he got a call from Starfire checking in that lasted a couple of minutes before ending it with a goodbye and I love you to each other.
~ Raven's Thoughts~
Raven on the inside felt terrible because she was secretly crushing on her best-friend's boyfriend. She knew full well how much Robin meant to her and how they cared for each other. Starfire has been the glue that kept the team close like it was because she values friendship more than anybody on the team. That fact proved true when the team was fighting Warp and she was caught in his time vortex and went to a future telling them because she disappeared and never returned that the team broke up and everyone was living secluded lives. That alone showed how much of an impact she had on the team. Starfire was like the Sun of the team and everyone always moved around her positive outlook on things. They both even had heart to hearts on a number of occasions and they became like sisters. Which was even more important to Starfire since her and her evil biological sister Blackfire took advantage of her and made her feel inferior growing up. So she never had a genuine female companionship that was healthy until she and Raven started getting closer all the times they worked together, which made this hurt her even more than it did already. Even though Robin chose Starfire as his official girl, she felt like she never had a honest chance to make a move herself. Even thought she did like him later on in the game which wasn't Starfire's fault, and not to mention that Raven was not one to really speak on her feelings, especially when it came to matters of the heart. She just kept it to herself and locked them away. She was good at keeping her emotions at bay since it was related to how she uses her powers, But being on a team, and learning to care for others, changed her and matured her as well. As time grew on, she looked at him more than a brother figure outside of him being their leader which was innocent in the beginning, but he had this charm and charisma that eventually made its way to her as well. Honestly Raven knew why Starfire fell for him, because in her own ways, she felt the same too and saw his qualities as well. And she's pretty sure Robin had no idea he was doing that to her too...But deep down, she had this unease in her heart that kept tugging at her. It was something she thought about all the time, that if she would have put in more effort and tried harder to fight for her feelings, would Robin still chose Starfire..or would he choose her? Raven had no way of knowing how he felt about her, and if she could just hear his answer, then maybe it would put her feelings at ease. But she's no fool, doing so would insinuate something that doesn't need to come to the surface,..so once again she pushed those feelings to the side.
Robin: Rachel!! Are you okay ?! (With a louder voice)
Raven: Huh ?! (Looking at him, and shaking her head, back into reality) Sorry! I got lost in thought there. What were you saying ?!
Robin: I was just saying, I don't think there's going to be any high crime tonight that the police couldn't handle without us. In a few more minutes will leave, and get our night started if that cool with you.
Raven: Yeah that's fine(Looking away) ...
Robin: What's on your mind Rae, ? You look like somethings bothering you.
{There was no way she was willing to tell him what was on her mind, at least not yet. She wasn't fully sure if what she felt for him was genuine feelings, or desires of her flesh talking. So she decided to change the subject and make small talk instead.}
Raven: I noticed that lately, you been changing your colors from red to blue. Like you've been wearing that color a lot more lately, why's that. Are you getting sick of bright colors?
Robin: {Obviously knowing this was a bluff, but decided to respect her feelings and not push her for the real reason, left it alone and humored her question} Heh. So you noticed huh ?!
Raven: I mean it was something I picked up on a while ago. Your don't wear your usual red and green to much nowadays. Not that I mind or anything. You outgrew them or something?!
Robin:(Sitting down next to her) Well kinda, but it's much more deeper than that. You sure you wanna hear the reason why?
Raven: (Nodding her head yes)
Robin: (Looking out in the town below, taking in its scenery) Well for the longest time, I been under Batman's wing, and right hand man when I use to be his sidekick in Gotham city..I learned a lot from him, and it was him who gave me the name Robin, while him and Alfred designed my suit (chuckling back at the memory). He taught me everything I know, how to fight, how to investigate, how to judge criminals, and just about life and everything else. After my parent died sometime later on I found my way to him and he changed my whole world. He gave me purpose, and reason to fight for something bigger than yourself. Bruce is like a father to me...always has been,.,watching him inspired me. He's always been there for me. And even times when I was with you guys I was still in contact with him and he's been helping me with information and things like that for us, he even helped solved some mysteries for us. I was gonna share with you guys when the time was right.
Raven: (Intrigued) Information like what?! (Curious to know, facing him)
Robin: Well I can't share everything we've discussed, because some that stuff is highly classified and confidential, and he just likes the privacy, but two things in particular that he shared with me was the identity of "Red X" and a possible reason why Terra was resurrected suddenly the way she was.
Raven: Really?!!! Please, Do tell ?! We've all been wondering about that forever.
Robin: (Standing Up) Well for starters, "Red-X" is no longer called that..he goes by a new name now I hear, he calls himself "The Red Hood!" Not only that, he was also like me a student who Bruce took under his wing after I left to go work solo, his names Jason Todd. I even heard Rumors and whispers that there was a new "Robin" working with him, But I heard something tragic happened in Gotham to him and he left too. Bruce won't give me the details though, but after he fled Gotham he was underground in Jump city looking to pick up where he left off and caught wind that I lived here, and he was the one who stole the suit. Which had me a little suspicious in the beginning because the schematics and entry algorithms and codes I use, wouldn't be accessible if you didn't have some knowledge working with Batman. Even when he was here and we stopped Professor Chang, something that stood out to me also was how similar our fighting styles were when we fought, yeah his style was a big rougher and unpredictable, but some moves he used I remember from my time with Bruce, fighting him felt... nostalgic, like I seen it before.
Raven: Hmm(Letting that new information sink in)...And what about Terra?!
Robin:Her story is not as complex and might actually be easier if that WAS the case.
Raven: Explain..
Robin: Think about it Rachel, you could figure this out, what major fight did we have next like none other after she died saving us from activating a volcano under the city?
Raven: (Thinking back) ... I'd say Brother-Blood.
Robin: Nope. (Smiling, shaking his head) Here's a hint. You was the centerpiece of that battle. And it was personal for you.
Raven:...(Gasp) (shocked, and in disbelief, knowing exactly who he was referring too.) You mean the fight with my father ?! ..But how ?! It doesn't make any sense. How could that be the reason she's alive again ?
Robin: The way Bruce explains it, after I gave the report of what happened to the JL. Bruce only gave his speculation but how he sees it, that once you sealed Trigon away, that the damage on the world was reverted back to its original state, and healed any damage he might've done, whatever effects from terra condition, was restored as well, When you think about it, people don't remember that even happening except us and Slade. I can't explain why she doesn't remember anything but that could very well like Slade said be from her own personal choice. But in theory, Rachel when you saved the world from from Trigon, you ended up saving her as well. But...things change.
Raven: (Soaking up the new information) If that's true, I can understand why you would wait to tell the others about Red X, because that really is personal for you, that's was your successor, after all, I get that. But why haven't you did told BeastBoy ? He loved her.
Robin: Rachel, He already knows. As soon as I found out, I pulled him to the side and we had a heart to heart about it. I told him what Batman's thoughts were on it. And Beastboy already had a hunch about it because he spent a lot of time thinking about it himself, so me telling him about that, especially hearing it from Batman was just confirmation for him.
Raven: ...Wow. I'm surprised that bafoon actually put his head together on that and figured it out. I gotta say l'm impressed.
Robin: (Heh) You and me both, our team..is grown up now. We're not teenager no more Rae.
Raven: Well this is all new mind blowing information, that I'll need a couple of days to process..but I still don't see how this ties into you changing your colors up ?! If anything I'm more confused, as to why all that would matter to you switching up color scheme. Is it really that deep ?
Robin:(Sitting down, still looking out at the city) (Smiling) It's simple Rachel. For the longest time, I've lived under Bruce Shadow all this time as his sidekick, and right hand man, even when I tired to go down my own path, a lot of his traits and lessons I learned I took with me. I completely came into Jump city with the intentions of working alone, this was my mission to not only protect a city From criminals, but to also give myself freedom and separation leaving Gotham city behind, and find myself. But then you guys happened, and we all happened, it changed things. It gave me a new perspective, and reminded me that one person can't do it alone. A team is how to get better results and I couldn't be more proud of the team that I'm apart of. Bruce, and Alfred, and Gotham city is what made me, and I'll forever be grateful for that foundation. But the Teen Titans and Jump city is what Raised me. What I do now after the Titans are disbanded is up to me now. So wearing these new colors is like a intro into a new chapter in my life. I won't be Robin, the boy wonder, or Robin the Teen Titan,..I'll be something else, someone..New.
Raven: So it was true. Your really thinking about disbanding the Titans then?!
Robin:...Yeah, I am. (Folding his arms) Rae, we're an incredible team. One of the best to do it, I Iove everyone of you guys with every strength in my body. And there not nothing I wouldn't do for you guys. All the sacrifices, and battles, and lessons we learned has shaped us into not only better hero's but even better people. A new leaf is blowing in jump city, it's time we get ready to make room for a new legacy of young hero's who will fill our shoes and protect this city we love so much that hold so many memories for us. We may be disbanding working together as a team, but we will always be "Titans", our legacy doesn't die with us, it started with us. We're forging a new path, and this is the perfect way to do it. No regrets, facing the future full speed ahead. Everyone deserves to live their own life now. We're more than just the "Teen Titans" we're best friends and family for real. It's almost time to hang up my cape and say goodbye to Robin, and hello to the new "Dick Grayson".
Raven: And what is the "New Grayson" ?!
Robin: Sorry Rae that's for another time. Can't spoil the surprise yet. (Snickering)
Raven: Hhmp(Smiling) I'll guess I'll just have to wait then. Just know your no fun. You totally left me on edge hanging just now.
Robin: Don't worry. I promise I'll tell you when the times right. But you'll know soon. Now come on we don't have to stay up here all night. We're suppose to be having a night out right, the night just begun.
Raven: Hey, Robin..about that.
Robin: Hmm, What is it ?!
Raven: I don't to ruin the night, but...can we just head the liquor store and rent a movie and head back to the tower for movie night. We can order pizza on the way if you want.
Robin: Are you sure, I thought you wanted to go out ?!
Raven: I did, but I'd rather chill in the house tonight and bring the Friday in on a smooth note. We can do that stuff to morrow night. It'll be my treat since you were gonna take charge tonight.
Robin:Uhh... I mean that's fine. If that's what you want then I don't mind. Let's go
Both of them got off the building and got back on Robin's motorcycle, and drove out into the night. Robin was fine with the change of plans, because it was only the first night and it was last minute, whatever made Raven comfortable was fine with him. Her on the other hand, while she truly did want to go out with Robin on a outing into town, she realized that whenever she spent time with him she learned more and more about him than she did before which only fueled her feelings for him even stronger. And she didn't want to waste the chance of him opening up to her running around the city making moves all night. This was her golden opportunity to finally dig into his heart and see how he felt about her, even if she knew she could never be his one and only, she wanted to find a way to let her feelings be known to him and confess what she held in her heart for so long. So spending the weekend with Robin was just what she needed, maybe what they both needed. And she was determined one way or another to get her answer out of him...but for now she was simply enjoying the ride with her favorite hero, and just rode in silence as she wrapped her arms around him tighter and got closer to him as much as possible while snuggling her face into his back enjoying the ride home.
~Back at Titans Tower~
Our two teen heroes arrive back at the towers in good spirits after having a heart to heart with each other. Both of them worked well together anyway so bonding just came natural for them, it was something that wasn't forced, to them it was simple as catching your common criminals off the streets. Back inside we find them both in the living room area with Robin setting up the Screen to turn into a movie while Raven was preparing the snack table which included Pizza, Honey Ranch & BBQ wings, and some Honey Jack Daniels liquor with cups for them all spread out. So the vibes were set and now it was time to unwind and relax a bit.
Robin: Alright.(looking over the set up) that should do it. We're good to go.
Raven: Sooo.. what's tonight selection gonna be?! And please tell me it's not another love movie, or comedy. I had enough of that for a change.
Robin: (scrolling through the movie collection) Well..I was gonna do an action movie,..but why not a scary move?!
Raven: That's fine with me but did you pick that because you really wanted to see it or because you was trying to please my personal taste of genre?
Robin: (laughing) Not at all. I actually want to see a scary movie, because it's has the greatest chance of surprising you and catching you off guard...it keep things interesting.
Raven: Alright, so what did you have in mind then? (Crossing her legs)
Robin: Well I thinking about watching Scream 4. This could be good. (Showing her the Cover case)
Raven: How did you manage to get that? That movie is still new isn't it? How'd you get your hands on it?
Robin: I can't reveal all my tricks.(laughing) just know I got a plug who be looking out for me.
Raven: Well then...I'll leave it alone in that case. Go ahead and start the movie.
Robin. Sure but first things, first. (Going to the light switch to dim the light) We have to set the mood. It just wouldn't be right without it.
Raven: (chuckling) Sure.
Robin and Raven were watching the movie, enjoying the peace and quietness of the tower, eating and drinking their food occasionally throughout the movie. Robin assured Raven that in case the movie was throwing off her emotions to let him know because he didn't want to have a night like last time that happened, but she guaranteed him it wouldn't happen again because since that occurred, she has been more in sync with her feelings and emotions as it relates to her,using her powers better (that could be a possible reason why she is suddenly having these feelings now but she's not certain for sure). Overall, the movie was good and they kept them on the edge of their seats, wanting more the two really enjoyed each other's company and were treating it as if they were really in the movies asking questions on the side, getting their food, and taking shots of their drink here and there. Robin was pretty good at holding his liquor because he used to do it back when he ran the streets in his younger days but Raven on the other hand was a bit of a lightweight, but she didn't want to seem uncool to him If he found out she couldn't hold her liquor as well. Normally Raven would not care about these kinds of things because it was far beneath here to give such idle things any great concern, but this time around when it just came to being with Robin, it just felt so right she really was trying to put a foot forward in letting her guard down and relaxing around him, Robin might not have been aware of it, but she was showing him a side to her she never shown anyone before and to her while it was strange at first, in it's own way it was enjoyable.
Robin: That was awesome. (Stretching) We're definitely gonna have to watch that again with the team they'll like that for sure.
Raven: Yeah, no kidding. I gotta say they're really was a good movie. I can't believe after all this time people still fall for them same tricks and end up getting themselves killed. (Laughing)
Robin: (smiling and looking at Raven) ...
Raven: Hm?!(Slightly Blushing) What is it.?! (Pushing some hair behind her ears, and looking away in embarrassment)
~Robin's Thoughts~
He wasn't sure if it was because the drink was slowly creeping it's way in, or if this was entirely him noticing this but for some reason, Raven was looking real..appealing tonight and attractive. Everything about her was causing his hormones to rise to the surface and he was doing his best to fight the temptation it was bringing. After all this was his best friend, not some fling or one night stand. And also there was the fact that he was already in a relationship with his fellow teammate Starfire which made this all the more wrong the more he thought about it. At the same time, he was still a man and couldn't deny Raven's charms as well, her maturity, and honesty, and devotion to mastering herself and her powers around the clock whenever she could. Raven wasn't as open as Starfire was, she was definitely more reserved than her but that's just the kind of person she was in fact, the two female Titans were complete opposites. Raven is one of the most mysterious person on the team. She is quiet, troubled, brooding, grim, moody, seemingly emotionless, intelligent, studious and sarcastic. She can always come up with a smart remark, specifically in reply to most of the teams antics and attempts at humor. She's someone who plays the background and only get involved when the time is called for, but much like anyone else on the team when it was time to fight she was on front lines right with them. She was a loyal friend, and someone who was honest and keep it real with you regardless of how you felt, next to Robin she was the second most mature person on the team. Ravens not the kind of person to talk about her feelings or anything like that, she has to be able to trust you on a personal close level for her to come out of her comfort zone and start talking about her feelings and emotions. In a lot of ways, just like Beastboy stated earlier they are a lot alike. Which begs the question, how would the two work out if they were in a relationship? He wouldn't lie to himself, a part of him really was attracted to her because once you look past her personality, as a woman he couldn't deny it, Raven really is beautiful. Her violet eyes and hair to match, the way she wears her favorite color on display which he had taken a new found interest too, her eerier gray skin tone, the jewel she has imbedded in her head was another thing that stood out. Her long luscious legs, and her medium size breast were all too alluring to him, and was making him turn red in the face just from looking at her. And tonight, if he didn't know any better she was being extra talkative with him, more than she had done before in the past. He had to snap back to reality quick before his instincts got the better of him.
Raven: Robin??...Hello, are you in there?!
Robin:(Snapping back to reality)Wha..Oh...I'm sorry Rae, I spaced out. What did you say ?!
Raven: (Laughing at him) I didn't say anything. I was just wondering why you were looking at me like that ?!
Robin:(Swallowing his saliva, nervously) Looking at you like what?
Raven:Oh It's Nothing. (Smiling) Don't worry about it. But there is something I want to ask, if you don't mind. I have a request of you to make.
Robin: Sure..anything.
Raven: Can...(Taking a pause) we...sleep together on the couch?!
Robin: (Shocked at her boldness) ...Umm.. I mean..that's strange of you to ask...I don't mind but..can you tell me why?
Raven...(Turning red at the embarrassment)...
Robin in a way, without much thought, understood how she felt and how embarrassing this must have been for her. Deciding to give in to her request, without the need for an explanation he accepted and just decided to wait until she was ready to talk about it.
Robin: Know what Rae, it's okay. You don't have explain, I think I understand. And it's fine.
Raven:(Blushing)..Thanks.(Grateful that he could figure out her reason, without her having to explain it, this was one of a number of reasons why she was grateful for him understanding, Robin...gets her, and doesn't have to make her feel weird or creepy about it.)
After the night was finished for them. It ended with Raven passing out on the couch already sleeping, while Robin was left to put away all the food and drinks and went to go get some extra covers and pillows for them since their couch was plenty big enough for them to share space. After he ran one more security check before the turning the lights off, he himself made his way to the couch and got under the covers with his hands behind his head he just looked into the ceiling waiting for sleep to soon overtake him. When suddenly he felt a lot of rattling through the covers he knew it wasn't him, and thought maybe Raven was just having a bad dream or something, when she suddenly popped up from under the covers and had her head down on his chest, laying on top of him. And if that wasn't enough he could feel a lot of warmth coming from her which meant that somewhere between him cleaning up she must have undressed herself until she was in her night clothes, with nothing but her bra and panties on. Robin was completely shocked by these turn of events and tried to keep it cool, and just go with the flow, but he wouldn't lie he was completely taken back by her boldness again and tried his hardest to keep his urges from rising up the surface and it was a fight he had to battle like none other. He tried his best to stay calm, until he heard her mumble something. As soon as he calmed down, and she stop fidgeting he leaned closer to listen to what she was saying.
Raven:(Talking in her sleep)..Ro..bin...please...hold me.
Again an unexpected turn of events occurred, on this night. He was surprised by what he heard and couldn't believe that Raven was "dreaming about him". Robin wasn't sure if she was completely asleep or not, but he decided to honor her request and slowly put his arms around her waist with one arm up the middle of her back against his better judgement. She was so small and soft to the touch he couldn't believe She felt like this. Robin felt like he betrayed a bit of trust tonight by being this close up on Raven while he was in a relationship already and knew he shouldn't be doing this. And the guilt was picking on him, but he reasoned with himself that it was only for one night and it's not like they did anything to cross the line..right?! While he was thinking if he had done the right thing or not, he just rubbed her back being lost in thought, until he heard Raven moan that caught him of guard as she repositioned herself on him with one hand around his neck and one leg up in between both of his. This was by far was for him a tight spot to be in, and it took everything in him from not coping a feel to touch Raven's body while she slept. A hour later after fighting with his flesh, he started to feel sleep over come him. As he started to close his eyes and drift into sleep there was but one thought that came into his mind.."it's going to be a long HARD weekend".

And There you have it folks !! The first chapter is done and complete and I hope you all enjoyed the read. This time I wanted to switch it up because Robin & Raven are so similar that I wanted to pace it in a good way without it feeling like it was rushed or anything like that.
