Ollie sprinted up the stairs to the cabin that would be his home for the next four weeks. He had thought that he might not be able to go to camp, but with Mesogog defeated, his parents had relaxed a ton. It also helped that they were finally in a house together, like they should have been all along.

"You can go now," Ollie said as Tommy dumped his bags onto his bed and he saw the look on his dad's face. "Dad- it's fine."

"I know, at least let your mom give you a hug goodbye," Tommy pointed out as Ollie looked around and noticed that Kim wasn't with them. When had she disappeared? "She stopped to chat with a couple of the counselors, it'll only be a few minutes."

"Fine," Ollie huffed as he realized that other parents were still milling around. There were times when he felt like they were far more overprotective than any other parents, but he also knew that they had seen dangers that most people didn't see. He didn't know a lot about the dangers, he just knew that they had more than most folks.

"You settled?" Kim asked as she placed a hand on his shoulder and he nodded before he gave her a quick hug. "Ollie- there's one thing I need you to promise me."

"What's that?" Ollie asked as he waved to one of his friends from karate class.

"Don't go off by yourself, okay?" Kim said as Tommy gave her a confused look. Why was she cautioning him against that? There had not been even a whiff of Hayley, or anything else evil, since Mesogog had been defeated. When they'd talked with Anton and Smitty, neither of them could tell them what Hayley had planned, but they had said she had something planned. So what made Kim feel like this was when Hayley would make her move? "Promise?"

"Yeah, I promise," Ollie responded as he looked between the two of them. "Okay. Time to go, I'll see you in a month."

"You ready to check into that cottage for the weekend?" Tommy asked as Kim nodded as she quickly wiped her eyes as they walked out of the cabin. "This is going to be good for him and for us. You'll see."

"I know. I just can't shake this sinking feeling that something is going to go wrong."

Hayley watched as Ollie ran around learning how to play soccer for the first time in his life. He was a gifted child, with a mix of Tommy's strength and Kimberly's agility. While she hated his parents, she had to say that they made good kids. In this case, they made a child that could be used against them perfectly. They would never see this coming, she just needed to get close enough to take Ollie and fulfill her plan.

Over the weeks, her frustration rose. Ollie stuck with the group or went off in a pair for everything that he did there. It was like he had been warned. Although when she thought about it, it was likely that Kim and Tommy had told him to stay with others. Unfortunately for them, she was willing to take more than one child to get to Ollie. She just had to figure out who would be the easiest to take with him.

At the beginning of the fourth week, she saw her opportunity and took it. Ollie walked away from the group for a split second to relieve himself in the woods as they were camping and she had grabbed him. She figured that she would have about six hours before Tommy and Kimberly were notified, which should give her enough of a head start to finish what she needed.

"Let me go!" Ollie yelled as he kicked at her and tried to get away. He connected with her shin and she plunged the syringe of midazolam into his thigh. He went limp in her arms and she quickly tossed him over her shoulder as she hurriedly moved through the woods towards her vehicle. Every minute was going to count if she was going to pull this off.

"Hey Ollie- how's it going?" Kim asked as she picked up the phone and saw the number for the camp. Tommy was finishing up his last dojo class of the night and she was catching up on some paperwork that had fallen behind over the week. Morning sickness had struck again and they had found that it was just best to let her sleep through it if they could, but that mean a lot at the dojo was falling behind.

"Ms. Hart? We've got some bad news…"

Tommy heard a pain filled scream come from Kim's office and abandoned his class as he sprinted for the stairs. He knew that everyone in the dojo must have heard it and was glad when Alex stepped in to distract his class. There were a handful of things that came to mind that could have caused her to have this reaction, but the one that stood out the most made him sick to his stomach.

"Kim…" Tommy started as he could hear someone trying to talk to her on the phone that was lying on the floor next to her. Kim had sunk into her chair and was sobbing as she held herself up against her desk. "Hi, it's Tommy- can I help you?"

"Ah, Mr. Oliver. We were just calling to inform you that Ollie is missing. We're sure that he just wandered off and we'll find him," the camp manager said as Tommy let out a groan. He had asked that if anything bad happened that they call him, but obviously they'd ignored that request. "Is Ms. Hart alright?"

"No. We'll be heading that way tonight," Tommy said as he heard the camp manager stutter to make some sort of excuse on why they didn't need to come, but he was having none of it. He could find Ollie better than any police or search and rescue. "Like it or not we'll be up there by tomorrow morning."

"I can't lose my baby, Tommy. I can't," Kim cried as he pulled her into his arms and he let the tears come as well as she sobbed against him. "Tommy, tell me that you can get him back."

"I will. I promise," Tommy whispered as he heard a knock on the door and turned to see Alex peek in. "I'll be right back."

"You need me to cover?" Alex asked as Tommy nodded and he let out a sigh. "What's going on?"

"Ollie's disappeared, so…" Tommy trailed off as Alex stared at him and then hastily nodded. "We're heading out as soon as I can get her calm."

"I'll make sure everything is covered- go."

"I found him," Tommy said as he pulled up the scan and Kim leaned over his shoulder to see Ollie's signature on the screen. The hope flared in her chest when she saw it was strong, letting her know that Hayley was waiting for them to come. She was not actually harming Ollie. "We're going to teleport up to the camp and I'll join in on searching for him. I should be able to teleport to where this is from there and then I can bring him back through the camp so that they don't know what happened. Baby, I'm going to get him and I'm going to bring him home."

"I know. I just need you to be careful too," Kim whispered as they heard a knock on the new lab door and she turned towards it. "Did you call anyone?"

"No," Tommy said as he got to his feet and went over to the door. It slid open before he got to it and Adam walked into the room. "Adam?"

"Ella said that she suddenly has a full day tomorrow. When neither of you picked up I thought I'd just come over and see what's going on," Adam said as he looked between the two of them and then saw the screen behind them. "She took Ollie."

"Yeah and we're about to go join in with the camp search so that I have a cover to get him and bring him back," Tommy said as Adam gave him a look. "No. You're not coming along."

"At least let me come and I'll stay with Kim. It'll make you feel better to know that Hayley will have a harder time dropping something on her while you're getting Ollie," Adam reasoned as Kim looked between the two of them and grabbed Tommy's hand. Adam watched as something passed between them before Tommy nodded and tossed Adam a communicator as well.

"You better give Ella a call and let her know you'll probably not be back tonight," Tommy said as he put his arm around Kim and all of them punched in their teleportation sequence. "Thanks Adam."

"We all love that kid."

Hayley watched as the last bag of the infusion finished and she saw Ollie glow. She needed for that to stop before Tommy and Kimberly came for him. She didn't want them to have any idea what she had done to him. And if she had it her way- they would also believe her dead after tonight. For her plan to work, she would need for them to believe it.

"Oh you're going to be the perfect weapon. It's a shame I can't use you until you're older though," Hayley said as she stroked back Ollie's hair from his face and she shook her head. She had seen all of the pictures of Tommy when he was young and Ollie was the spitting image of him.

"Let me go," Ollie forced out as he pulled against the restraints. "Please Hayley, let me go."

"I'd do what he says," Tommy said as Hayley spun around and caught Tommy glaring at her. She now understood why so many beings avoided earth because of Tommy. The look in his eyes let her know that she was in for a world of hurt if she didn't let Ollie go. That she might not be alive to fake her death if she decided to push it. "How could you?"

"How could I? How could you? I took care of you, for years. I made sure that everything you needed, you got. I got you through your doctorate and every other degree you have. And Kimberly pops back up and you just abandoned me," Hayley ranted as Tommy sprinted at her and then threw her across the room. She crashed into the panels and she realized one thing she had underestimated in her plan- just how pissed Tommy was going to be that she had taken his son. If she wanted to stay alive, she was going to have to actually put some effort into surviving Tommy.

"Hey, you okay?" Tommy asked as he walked over to Ollie and started pulling the restraints away. He noticed a handful of IV bags around him, but knew he didn't have time to look at them. He could smell the smoke already and did not want to get trapped in here with his son. "Ollie- you just look at me. You don't need to see anything else in here."

"Okay," Ollie whispered as Tommy picked him up and spun around to see Hayley standing on the other side of a wall of flames.

"Hayley- you don't have to do this…" Tommy tried as she sent a blast of something directly at him and he let out a groan as it connected with his back while he shielded Ollie. "Okay Ollie, keep a tight hold on me. We're going to have to run out for a bit."

"Dad?" Ollie piped up as they got out into the open air and Tommy put him down to thoroughly check him over. He knew that every minute they were away from Kim, it was putting more stress on her, but he also needed to make a choice about how far away he teleported in and Ollie's condition would determine that. "Dad. I'm fine."

"I know, but your mom will kill me if I don't double check that before I teleport us in on the back side of camp. Look bud, I need you to say that you got lost, okay?" Tommy said and Ollie just nodded. He understood that telling a lie in this case was what he needed to do. No one was going to believe him if he explained that he'd been kidnapped and teleported away by someone that had it out for his parents. "Thank God you're alright."
