Episode 9: All Out War

After gathering everyone, Sonic, Eve, Mega Man, and Mega Woman are ready to get into the Wily Egg and rescue Dr. Light. They've arrived at the center of the Skull Egg Zone where the Wily Egg is. However, they run into a snag.

"I was expecting SOME resistance but this…" Mega Man says.

"This is a lot…" Mega Woman says.

"Don't get cold feet now, buddy. Remember, we made our careers out of trashing robots," Sonic says, "This is what we live for."

And there, standing in front of them, All off Dr. Wily Robot Masters are ready to fight the pair of heroes and their friends.

And with that, the heroes begin to fight against the Robot Masters to get to the Wily Egg and stop Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily.

"Push through 'em guys," Sonic calls out, "We need to get that teleporter pad Proto Man and the Chaotix found!"

Vector is fighting against the Robot Master, "You DO know we couldn't crack the access code, RIGHT?"

"It's still the only way into the Flying Fortress. We have to get to it," Proto Man says.

Just then, another robot called Napalm Man blasts at Shadow with a laugh, "HAHAHA! You're doomed! None can against the walking arsenal like me!"

But then Omega appears and fires back, "PLEASE. Back of the line, pea shooter." which is more than enough to take Napalm Man down.

"See? Rouge was wrong. It WAS a good idea for me to leave my post. The portal home will be fine," Omega says.

"Perhaps," Shadow says and looks up in the sky, "You can discuss it with her once she is rescued."

He soon sees that Rouge has also been Roboticized and is fighting Knuckles.

Soon, Sonic rushes over, "Yeah, good job finding 'tiny here after you teleported off in a huff."

I did not teleport in a-" Shadow says annoyed.

Then Sonic says, ""Don't worry, we'll get your teammate back!"

"I am not worried. Concentrate on the flight," Shadow says, annoyed.

Eve then kicks Water Master with a slide kick, "How many Robot Masters did Dr. Wily make?"

Mega Woman fires at another Robot Master, "Feels like a hundred."

Mega Man also blasts a Robot Master, I'm just glad as my brothers from the initial line aren't here. It's bad enough I have to destroy these guys again!"

"Not that it matters," Sonic says, and kicks some, "It looks like the docs are time-cloning these guys are something. I KNOW we always took care of some of these weirdos."

"We've GOT to get in through that base! We'be left Dr. Light waiting too long, and… and…" Mega Man says and blasts more Roboticized Masters.

"Don't get your wires in a knot! I TOLD, you we've GOT this," Sonic says and elbows a Robot Master in the face, "Your dad is as good as saved."

Meanwhile, aboard the Wily Egg…

Dr. Wily and Eggman are at the brig.

"I bet… fifty zenny…" Wily says.

Eggman scoffs, "Pah! I see your fifty and raise you another two hundred rings! Come on Motobug! Slice him to pieces!"

"Sic him, Met! Don't embarrass me!" Wily says.

Turns out, Dr. Wily and Eggman have their robots placed in Dr. Light's Prison Cell. Dr. Light walks back against the wall as the two robots approach them. However, they accidentally bump into each other. And soon enough, the two end up brawling with each other. Dr. Light simply walks past them and towards Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily.

"Since I now have your attention, GENTLEMEN…" Dr. Light says in a calm stern one.

Wily gets annoyed as he says, "Here it comes-another 'insightful' lecture from 'Poppa Tom.'"

"Do these robots not know how to walk in a straight line?" Eggman questions dumbfounded.

Then Dr. Light says, "It's not too late to stop this. You've already tempted fate by re-writing both your worlds with a Genesis Wave. Using the power of the Chaos Emeralds I must rewrite ALL universes-all of creation-is too much, EVEN for men of such… genius."

"How do you know that our plans to-" Eggman asks.

But Wily interrupts, "Don't listen to him! He's always been like this!"

Then Wily leans to Dr. Light and says, "For all of his vaunted intellect, Thomas never had our kind of VISION! He hopes the one they create truly living robots. So WHAT? We've created entire REALITY! We reshaped time and space across two worlds - and soon ALL WORLDS!"

Then turns back, "You're scared, Thomas! Scared lack of ambition will finally leave you eclipsed in the shadow of my brilliance! We have COMPLETE control!"

"Ra Moon," Dr. Light says.

This makes Dr. Wily deflates in shock.

"What are you talking about?" Wily questions.

"YOU and your friend here were the ones who rewrote reality to fuse the past or the future. You should remember EXACTLY what I'm talking about," Dr. Light continues, "You thought you had control over Ra Moon, and Gamma, and King. The Stardroids, Roboenza- Bass? You've toyed with things you CANNOT handle for YEARS, and Mega Man and Mega Woman had to save you from yourself."

Then turns to Dr. Eggman, "And from what I heard, you're no different Dr. Eggman? Chaos? The ARK? Emerl? If not for Sonic and Eve, you wouldn't have a world to conquer. Altering its reality and history won't change that. It's not too late, Albert. Give up this mad quest now. Make things right I know you could-"

"I've heard enough!" Wily angrily says and walks away, "Let's go Eggy! We've got an army to oversee!"

Dr. Light sighs and says, "What about Anthony?"

Dr. Wily stops in his tracks.

He lets out a sigh and says, "It doesn't matter anymore. Anthony is no longer with us. So, do forget about the past." and walks away soon after.

Dr. Light sighs knowing that there's no getting through to him.

"Oh my dear boys… Juni… if only I knew you were all right out there… And I hope Anthony is watching you from Heaven…" Dr. Light says to himself.

Back at the battlefield…

The war continues on, Mega Man and Proto Man are still fighting against the Robot Masters.

"This works a lot better when I take them one at a time…!" Mega Man says.

Then Sonic spin dashes the Robot Masters.

"Thanks Sonic," Mega Man says.

Eve at the same time spin dashes and slashes her sword at the Robot Master. Slicing them into pieces. She also mananges to help Shadow with the Robot Masters.

"Thanks Eve. Even though I didn't need help," Shadow says.

"You so do," Eve says. "I gotta go, but I'll let you deal with that clown, though." and dashes off.

Shadow turns to see a Clown Robot Master, which he finds ridiculous.

Meanwhile, Blaze is dealing with many Robot Masters who are throwing fire at her.

Black concentrates with her fire, "I am the Guardian of the Sol Emeralds… I command their fiery power…" And then bursts out her flames in pure, "I command ALL FIRE!" burning them

Silver then uses his powers on some as well, "HA! The doctors should've never sent robots against me! None of you are immune to my POWER!"

But a Robot Master named, Flash Man, uses his power to stop Angel, "Nor are YOU immune to OURS," and soon eyeing Silver's hair, "So… much… HAIR…"

Espio is battling with Shadow Man, the Robot Master. They both bow to each other before going all out with their ninja skills.

Vector is battling with Snake Man as they roll down the hill.

Vector punches him, "Yer a disgrace to reptiles everywhere!"

Hornet Man is blasting at Charmy.

Charmy dodges as he cries out, "Cut it out! Aren't we like, distant cousins or something?!"

Knuckles punches Stone Man's stone hand with his spiked knuckle fists, "C'mon! Is that all you've got!"

Concrete Man fires a concrete block, but Knuckles destroys it with one

"This guy hits like Guts Man!" Stone Man panics.

In another area, Shadow spots Rouge, "Rouge! You shouldn't have come after me!"

Before he can get to her, someone blasts Shadow with a sonic screech. Shadow angrily turns to see Shade Man flying towards him.

"The lady has joined classier company, my boy!" Shade Man says.

Amy is trying to fight against Splash Woman, but is having a hard time.

"Nngh! This hardly seems fair!" Amy says, trying to swing her hammer.

Turns out, two other Robot Masters, Aqua Man and Pump Man are assisting her.

"I'm always happy to have a lady make a splash! HAHAHA!" Aqua Man says.

Tails then picks Amy up, "Gotcha!" and takes off with her.

Amy sighs in relief, "Thanks, Tails!"

Tails struggles, "Hrrgh! Don't thank me yet-! -I'm kinda on the retreat right now!"

And turns out Tails is being chased by Tornado Man, Gyro Man, and Wind Man.

Sonic and Eve are booth speed with Robot Masters: Slash Man, Charge, Man, Metal Man, Turbo Man, Quick Man, and Nitro Man are chasing the,

"You can't run forever, coward!" Metal Man says.

"Ooh! Sorta-fast robots! This is almost entertaining AND a challenge!" Sonic says.

"Yeah. They're almost a challenge," Eve says.

Soon, Quick Man catches up, "I ALMOST regret this. There was no thrill in fighting that slowpoke Mega Man and Mega Woman!"

"I hear ya! But while they don't have your speed…" Sonic says.

Sonic and Eve then spin dash the robots, causing them to stumble and roll on the ground.

Quick Man screams, "HATE… THOSE… HEDGEHOGS!"

And all of the speeding Robot Masters crash

"...You don't have his SKILLS," Sonic adds as he and Eve come to a stop.

Meanwhile, Mega Woman is swinging at her Piko Hammer and Mega Man is punching with the Knuckle Spike.

"Guys! We've taken you all down before! We don't want to hurt you AGAIN!" Mega Man says.

"And now we've got a bunch of new weapons! You don't stand a chance!" Mega Woman says and uses Fire Tornado at them.

Mega Man turns to see Rouge Woman, "Actually on that topic- Sonic!"

"I know the drill, Rock!" Sonic says as he bounces on a Pirate Robot Master and grabs Rouge Woman's leg, "Now fire the Sonic shot to change Rouge back!"

Mega Woman blasts her, changing her back. She then grabs the orb and gains a new power.

Mega Man then says, "And now each of us got FIVE WEAPONS!"

"And together make TEN WEAPONS!" Mega Woman says.

Then both of them give each other a high five.

A bit dizzy, Rouge says, "Oof… nice shot. I guess I owe you one."

Sonic and Eve Spin dash more Robot Masters as they dodge each attack.

"You're QUICK, Quick Man, but you're not FAST!" Sonic says.

"They sure aren't," Eve says.

Aboard the Wily Egg…

Eggman and Wily are watching the battle.

Wily cheers, "Yes! Ground Man, burrow under the Echidna! No! Wood Man! Het away from the cat!"

Bass turns to Eggman, "Not enjoying the show?"

"Oh, I always love to watch robot-on-hedgehog violence. I'm just piecing together a little puzzle…" Eggman says.

Soon, Orbot walks over and says, "If I may bother you once again boss… There's a weak and unauthorized transmission coming from the prison deck."

"Is there a problem?" Wily asks.

"Not at all," Eggman answers, "You keep a watch on things here, Al," and walks away, "We'll handle it. Come along, Metal Sonic. Metal Eve."

Back at the battle…

"Shadow calls out, Sonic. Eve. Proto Man has a plan," Eve says.

"Why 'Run around and hit stuff' has been working for-" Sonic says.

Eve turns to Sonic, "Sonic…"

Sonic rolls his eyes, "-Oh all right."

Soon, Sonic, Eve, Mega Man, and Mega Woman join Shadow and Proto Man.

"Blues?" Mega Man questions.

"We need to change tactics, "Proto Man says, "Any Robot Masters that falls can be time-clonded and sent back to us immediately."

"Right we need to strike it to doctors NOW," Shadow says.

"The Chaotix could not break the code to the teleporter in time for us to invade the fortress. But with the battle covering you…" Proto Man says.

But Mega Man says, "I know where you're going with this, and the answer is 'no way!' I'm not leaving you all by yourselves!"

"We can handle ourselves!" Shadow angrily says.

"I don't like it either, bud," Sonic says, "But they're right. The longer we drag out this fight, the longer the docs have to do… whatever their master plan is."

"I think they're right, Rock. We need to strike them now while the fight continues," Mega Woman says.

Sonic calls out, "Yo, Tails! I need a pick-up!"

Mega Man calls out, "Rush! Here, boy! I need your Rush Jet!"

Eve then uses her Chaos Energy to lift herself up as Mega Woman activates her boosters.

Soon, the group begins to take flight from the fight and head to the Wily Egg.

"Are you sure this is a good idea, Sonic? There're are still a LOT of Robot Masterson the battlefield," Tails asks.

"Which means they're less for us to fight inside that Big Battle Station," Sonic says, "The faster we end this, the sooner our friends are safe."

Amy and Proto Man soon spot the group heading off to the Wily Egg.

"Be careful, guys. Come back to me, Sonic," Amy says.

"Good luck… brother, Juni," Proto Man says.

Proto Man calls out, "INCOMING!"

More Robot Masters begin to fight.

"There's no end to them!" Amy says, annoyed.

On board the Wily Egg…

Dr. Light has used some of the parts of the two robots and to make contact with the outside

Dr. Light tries, "Agent Rouge, do you read me? No? How about if I try… Mega Man - Rock - Are you receiving this? DRATS! Let's see… Blues? No! Mega Woman? Juni? Due? Anyone?"

Suddenly, a familiar voice says, "Well-well-well. Aren't we resourceful?"

Dr. Light turns around in shock as he tries to hide the communication device. There, the hatch of the cell opens to reveal Eggman, Metal sonic., and Metal Eve.

"You know I was wondering how Rouge knew exactly where a strike disabled our engines and vent some of our precious Chaos Energy. But I was ready to chalk it up to her annoying resourcefulness," Eggman says.

With the cell open, the mad doctor and two robots walk in.

Eggman continues, "But then you started talking about the details of our master plan. Details neither of us shared with you. Details a certain spy might have shared with you while conspiring to sabotage the WIly Egg. And here you are with a communicator built out of scavenged robot parts, calling for help. Yes - you're QUITE resourceful." then Eggman commands the robots, "Bring him."

Both the robots grab Dr. Light and drag him out of the cell. Eggman then begins walking down the hall with the robots having Dr. Light in tow.

"Albert was right. You ARE trouble and I'll admit I underestimated you," Eggman says. A mistake I won't make twice. Not when I'm THIS CLOSE to winning." He then opens the button, opening a hatch leading to the outside.

Dr. Light begins to worry, "Wait a moment! You don't need you to-"

"Probably not. But I WANT to," Eggman says with an evil smile, "Good-bye Dr. Light."

And with that, Metal Sonic and Metal Eve throw Dr. Light out of the Wily Egg.

Back outside…

The group of five continue to make their way to the Wily Egg.

Rush looks up, and lets out a bark in panic, "Bark! BARK!

"What is it, boy?" Mega Man questions. He then looks up to spot something, "What's… what is that?"

Mega Man uses robotic scope in his eye to zoom in on the object. And soon, Dr. Light is identified.

Mega Man cries out in shock and despair, "DAD!"
