As Robin descended down the flight of stairs, he couldn't make out when he would reach the end. Robin wasn't the least bit surprised by the matter because that's usually how Slade operates but as he took his battle stance to get ready to do battle he was met by a familiar voice he knew all to well coming from down the shadows out the vault.
Mysterious Person: Ahh, Robin, long time no see, my how you've grown. It's been a while.
Robin: What do you want Slade? (Turning his attention, to the mastermind, as he comes into view with his usual half and half mask, and suit of armor that he wears, but something felt off about him, he couldn't put his finger on it but his instincts told him to stay on his toes.) We haven't heard from you since the battle with Trigon, rumors were you bounced around in other cities, doing odd jobs as a mercenary for hire for big time Goons and Thugs.
Slade: Well someone's certainly done their homework. It touches my heart, that you keep up with me, and your only half right. Things change and I'm looking to...expand.
Robin: What do you mean?
Slade:Come now my boy, you really think someone like me is going to stay stagnant only to jump city. I had some time to do some soul searching if you will, and I've come to find out that I've only begun to hit my peak. It's time to start moving out and up in the world. Slade: Please, spare me the empty threats. Your little team poses no threat to me now, I'm much stronger than before, and I've learned a trick or too. Besides you really think other than you and Trigon's little hell spawn that anyone else on your little team could stop me.
Robin:Like I said, we've done it before and we'll do it again. Don't underestimate my team. They're not the same they once were. Everyone gotten stronger and can hold their own. Now it's time to stop talking, and get down to business.
Slade: I couldn't agree more. Let's see how far you've come.
As the Sladebots were moving in on the surrounding Robin, he kept his focus sharp and fixed, prepared to do battle. With A loud battle roar Robin sprinted full speed at the army and started his assault on one of his greatest arch enemy ever by himself.
As the intense battle began with Robin and Slade, we find our heroine titan carrying the injured to the nearest hospital to be checked in. Once she got there she immediately grabbed the nurse to have her bring the doctor to care of the people, she helped put them on stretchers for the doctors with her powers and everyone thanked her for the assistance, she hurried out the building to travel back to the building to assist Robin. But beforehand, she was stopped by one of the workers who grabbed her arm to give her a warning.
Worker: (Wheezing Slightly) Please ma'am...be careful...trap...it's...a trap..building is rigged...
Raven: It'll be okay. Thank you for staying strong, you just focus on getting better and we'll handle the rest.(As she begin to turn away she was stopped again one last time)
Worker: Wait please..The man..used...fire. (Passes out from exhaustion and injuries)
As soon as he expressed his final concerns, Raven took a minute to ponder what he meant. And once she knew what he was saying, a couples seconds after that there was a big explosion that ranged throughout the area. Raven turned around at the sudden commotion and saw the building in the distance where she and Robin was suppose to be investigating go up in flames. And the building was destroyed as she saw rubble falling, and black smoke filling the sky overtop the building. And when she saw that horrific sign, her heart sinked in her chest to her stomach, and tears started to fill her eyes, and she only had one thought in her mind as she soared through the sky at full speed screaming aloud, "ROBINNN" !!!!!!

Raven made it to the building only to find the place in ruins, the building completely collapsed, small remains of fire found here and there, and destroyed sladebots pieces found everywhere, but no sign of Robin. She called out his name a couple of times, but still no response. She called his communicator, but there was only static, letting her know it was destroyed. She was starting to panic, and felt guilty leaving him alone, and wondered if something bad happened to him or maybe he got captured, thoughts of despair started to enter her mind until she remembered the mental union they shared when Salde's mask was laced when he was haunting Robin making him see him when he was never really there. So she focused hard and tried to sense him, when she suddenly was knocked out her concentration by hearing his voice.
Robin: Raven!! Is that you !?"(Pushing debris and rubble off him)
She turned around and saw him, but he suffered injuries from the skirmish because his attire was damaged, hair was a mess, and he was holding on to his left arm, and his mask was chipped on the right side. He definitely looked worst before from serious battles in the past, but this still wasn't a good sight for her to see, but he was definitely still standing strong even still. Before he even got the chance to say anything else, she rushed to him and ran in his arms, burying her head into his chest and holding on him tightly like this might've been the last chance she would've seen him again. She stood there quiet as tears kept falling out her eyes.
Raven: (Speaking in a low tone) I'm so glad...your okay.. I thought something happened to you, when you wouldn't answer me.
Robin: (Caressing her): I'm sorry for making you worry. Slade's robots weren't no problem..but he somehow managed to control fire like when he was working for Trigon. It caught me off guard but I still somehow managed to hold my own. Things got intense and before I knew it the building was collapsing over top of us. But I managed to secure the tech he was trying to steal.

Soon after the law enforcement finally arrived and firefighters came also to do damage control. Once he gave them gave a report of the crime and handed over the tech, he decided to do a little more detective work and once he was satisfied everything checked out, he decided to pack it up and Head home himself.
Titan's Tower
Robin finally got back in the tower around 8pm and made it too the living room quarters to ease himself for a moment to relax. He checked his phone and saw he had a missed call from Starfire, and that she had a left a voicemail for him. The timing of her actions were selfish indeed, plus the more she thought about it, the more she decided to call off meeting with him she already tried in her head a good ten times already. She was scum and low for what she's doing, but even with all that, the regret of never knowing would be ever more painful. Raven had to know for this one weekend to explore the possibility that if circumstances were different..could they have been different..this was going to be her only chance. With a final Breath of conviction, she grabbed her phone and texted Robin with a simple reply "I'm ready to talk".
Robin had gotten out his shower, and relaxed in his room, taking back more shots of liquor getting intoxicated but still functioning well.
