Episode 10: No Holds Barred

Last time, Sonic, Eve, Mega Man and Mega Woman have been fighting the Robot Masters. While their friends try to fight them off, they try to get to the Wily Egg. but to Mega Man's shock, Dr. Light, his father and creature is now plummeting to his doom.

"DAD!" Mega Man cries out.

"DR. LIGHT!" Mega Woman cries out.

Now the five heroes are racing against time to save Dr. Light.

Mega Man contacts the others, "MEGA MAN to ANYONE! Dr. Light is free-fall on the North Side! I'm en route, BUT I'M NOT GONNA MAKE IT! Somebody help! PLEASE!"

Tails places Sonic down and asks, "Can you get out there and-?!"

"The dude's falling right into a crater! I can't - somebody get up there!" Sonic panics.

"What about Eve and Mega Woman?!" Tails cries out.

Mega Woman cries out, "We won't be able to make it!"

As he falls, Dr Light turns to see Mega Man trying to reach him.

"Rock… I'm sorry," Dr. Light says with his last words before falling into the darkness.

But then, a miracle happens…

Shadow appears, "CHAOS-CONTROL!" and rescue Dr. Light as he teleports himself and the doctor back on solid ground in the battle.

Shadow places Dr. Light down and says, "Stand down Doctor. Our comrades will provide you cover."

"I will protect the flabby, hairy man!" Omega says.

Racing Dr. Light Proto Man contacts Mega Man, "Proto Man to Mega Man - we have Dr. Light…." Then turn to Dr. Light, "... are you hurt?"

"I'll be fine," Dr. Light says.

"He's unharmed," Proto Man answers.

Then Dr. Light says, "I need to speak to Rock directly, may I…?"

Proto Man removes his helmet, "Make it quick. We're in the middle of the war zone."

Dr. Light puts on the helmet and contacts Mega Man, "Mega Man? Do you copy?"

"Doctor Light! Hold on, I'll come down there and-" Mega Man says.

But Dr. Light says, "No Mega Man. I'll be fine. Right now you're needed on the Wily Egg?"

"Wily Egg…?" Mega Man questions.

"The Flying Fortress," Dr. Light confirms, "You need to stop Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily. You need to save our world and Sonic's world and all the worlds in our two universes. Go on, son. Be the hero we need you to be!"

"O-okay, stay safe! I'll see you when this is done!" Mega Man says.

"I saw Shadow use his Chaos Control. Your dad's okay?" Eve confirm.

"Yeah, but that was too close," Mega Woman says.

"Mega Woman's right. That was far too close," Mega Man says, "Let's END this and get everyone home."

"Sure, but first we've gotta use this pad-thingy to transport us inside that Flying Death Trap," Sonic says, "How's it comin', Tails?"

"The controls are hacked! The teleporter is online, and now we've got direct access to the Flying Fortress!" Tails says.

"Dr. Light says this is called the 'Wily Egg." Mega Man says.

"The Wily Egg?" Mega Woman questions.

"Seriously?" Tails questions.

Eve facepalms her head, "I don't believe it."

"I'd believe it," Sonic says.

Soon, the group is teleported into the Wily Egg.

Back in the battle…

Rouge spots Dr. Light, "Long time, no see, doc!"

"Good to see you're safe, Agent Rouge," Dr. Light says.

He then asks, "How goes the battle?

"Not so hot," Rouge says, "We're severely outnumbered. Any ONE of these Robot Masters would be a challenge. We can't" She tries to kick Gemini Man, but it's a decoy, "- ugh, stupid decoys!"

"Don't give up," Dr. Light says.

"The Mega Man Mega Woman, and their friends have made it into the Wily Egg, so this should be over soon. And I anticipate reinforcements any time now," Dr Light, and uses a blaster he has created to blast the robot.

Back in Dr. Light's lab of Mega Man and Mega Woman's world…

Roll types on the computer and says, ""Give me a second to stabilize the portal… we've only made only one of these before."

Roll is doing what she can to create the portal to allow Duo to go through to help her brothers and friend.

Soon, Roll puts the portal up.

"There, I think it's stable enough to-" Roll says.

"Thank you Roll. I will handle things from here," Duo says, and begins to go through the portal

"Due! Be careful!" Roll says, worried.

Back in the Skull Egg Zone, in the Wily Egg…

Dr. Eggman returns, ""How's the battle, going, Albert?"

However, he is greeted with Dr. Wily's rage, "YOU TRIED TO KILL THOMAS!"

"Of course! He knew too much and was trying to contact Mega Man and Mega Woman! He had to be dealt with!" Eggman says

"NO! Not like that!" Dr Wily says, "Thomas is a nuisance, but I WON'T see him MURDERED!""

"What? You HATE him! I would think you'd be HAPPY!" Eggman says, confused.

"IDIOT! I want him embarrassed, humbled, and defeated! Not DEAD!" Wily angrily says.

Soon, the two doctors begin fighting with each other.

Just then, Bass says, "Hey! Old guys! Mega Man, Mega Woman, and their animal buddies are on board. OR are you too busy slap-fighting to care?"

The two stop fighting and look at each other. They both soon let each other go and focus on their problem.

Wily straightens himself, "Hmph. Send the Mega Killers. They should at least slow them down long enough for us to get our final weapon online."

"Yes, Metal Sonic, Metal Eve, take Bass and guard checkpoint X. If they manage to get THAT far it's up to you two to finish them," Eggman says.

However, Wily says in thought, "You've gone too far, Ivo. The situation is bad enough, but then you try to kill Thomas…? I see you for what you are. We'll finish the Egg Wily Machine X, and then it is will finish YOU."

Eggman has thought of the same intention, "I had such hope for you, Albert. But you have shown your weakness. We'll complete the Egg-Wily Machine X, but it won't do YOU any good."

Somewhere in the Wily Egg, the five heroes are trying to find Eggman's weapon and stop them.

Sonic says to Mega Man, "Due, I'm telling you, this is EXACTLY like the Death Egg. Follow my lead."

But Mega Man says, "And I'M telling YOU… this is classic Wily defenses. Follow MY lead."

They soon begin to explore one of the death traps. Beam bridges, and such.

Sonic says, "Beam Bridges? Exposed super-con-ductors? Death. Egg. Deal with it."

Soon, they come across a spiky floor with narrow platforms.

"Narrow platforms over armor-piercing spikes? Nuh-huh. TOTALLY a Wily design," Mega Man says.

Tails, Eve, and Mega Woman roll their eyes with annoyed expressions.

"Okay, that's the traps. What will REALLY prove it is the robot…" Sonic says, "...guards…"

Soon, the gang comes to a stop.

"Uh-oh," Mega Woman says, worried.

"It's the MEGA KILLERS!" Mega Man cries out.

"End of the Road!" Enker says.

Indeed, these are the Mega Killers: Bladdade, Enker, and Punk.

"See? Three robots built specifically to destroy me and Mega Woman. This place is TOTALLY Wiley centric," Mega Man says in remark.

But Sonic says, "Nuh-huh. Defensive robots themed to the invaders? All we need now is Silver Sonic. I'm callin' it a tie."

"You would!" Mega Man says.

"Bring it on, Losers!" Sonic says.

And with that, the group of heroes begin to fight the Mega Killers.

Meanwhile, Duo has entered the Skull Egg Zone.

And begins to search as he floats around the area, "Scanning…" Once he scans, Duo says, "This very dimension is EVIL, poisoning the two worlds. I detect DOZENS of advanced robots and multiple life forms… I sense incredible energy… living, EVIL… and CHAOTIC!"

Back on the Wily Egg…

Sonic and Punk are brawling with one another with their Spin dashes.

Each of them shouts, "STOP STEALING MY MOVES!"

Tails, Rush, and Eve are fighting against Enker.

Enker shouts, "The three of you STILL aren't enough to handle me!"

Mega Man and Mega Woman try to battle and reason with Ballade.

"Ballade! Stop! You self-destructed to SAVE me once, Remember?" Mega Man calls out.

"I have no idea what you're talking about! Now stand and fight me like a man!" Ballade says.

Mega Woman says, Mega Man, don't you remember about the crazy time and space changing.

"You're right - this zone messes with time and space," Mega Man says, "Wily must have time-cloned him from before we fought. But outside are Robot Masters from well after that battle. Argh! I can't compute all this time-traveling stuff!"

"Me too. All of this is making my memory file scramble.

Meanwhile, Sonic is spin dash bouncing as he says, Follow the bouncing hedgehog!"

Then using Punk to advantage, he dodges Enker, but Punk strikes at him with full force.

Then Sonic calls out, "Mega Man! Switch."

"Right!" Mega Man says.

Ballade turns around, "Wait-What?!"

But Sonic mananges to strike at Ballade, but he fires one of his bombs towards Tails. Tails isn't able to escape in time and it collides with him, causing the bomb to explode. Tails then crashes to the ground. Mega Man and Mega Woman are able to blast Ballade.

Sonic and Eve rushes over, "Tails! Are you okay?!"

"I'm… I'm fine…" Tails answers, weakly.

"No, you're not. Just… just take it easy," Sonic says.

"Here - Rush will take him back to the others," Mega Man says as Rush walks over.

Eve then places Tails on the robot dog's back.

The Mega Woman asks, "Does anyone know first aid?"

"I dunno…" Sonic says, not sure, "Rouge, maybe? Could Doctor Light…?"

"Wrong kind of doctor," Mega Man says.

"Rouge actually does know some, but so does Amy. I know first aid too, but I can't treat him here," Eve says.

"Then it's best that Tails get to Amy or Rouge," Mega Woman says.

Tails weakly says, "I've… seen worse. Remember Launch Base Zone."

"Yeah, and you came back from that. Rest up little bro' we've got this," Sonic says.

"I know give 'em one for me," Tails says.

Soon, Rush then leaves to take Tails out and get him help.

After that, the four heroes head off.

"He'll be all right…" Tails says.

"I know. Let's hurry up, Sonic says, "My shoe has an appointment with Eggman's face."

"Well when I get my hands on Eggman and Wily for all the trouble they caused, I'll…" Eve angrily says.

The group continues running, but soon skid to a stop to see the Chaos Devil as it lets out a roar in pure rage.

Meanwhile…

Somewhere in the Skull Egg Zone, Duo is flying through to get to the source of the evil energy. He soon flies over the fight.

Soon, Duo finds Dr. Light, "Doctor Light, I am here to help,"

"Duo! We'll handle things here! Help Mega Man, Mega Woman, Sonic, and Eve inside that fortress!" Dr. Light says, pointing to the fortress, "The doctors inside need to be stopped! Our home worlds and COUNTLESS others depend on you!"

Suddenly, they hear a loud roaring sound.

Duo turns towards the fortress and senses something, "Such power… such evil…"

Then Duo rushes towards the Wily Egg.

Inside the fortress, the four heroes are fighting the Chaos Devil.

"It's some kind of Devil-Class Robot! The eye is the command module! I don't know WHAT it's protecting, though," Mega Man says.

"What exactly is it?" Mega Woman says.

"That's Chaos, he's an Ancient Water God, Guardian to the Chaos. We fought him a long time ago," Eve says, deflecting the monster's attack.

"Long story, too! It's strong, tough, and REALLY ANGRY!" Sonic says.

He then asks, "How do you beat these Devil Things?"

"Expose the eye - which at this point seems easier said than done," Mega Man says, and is swatted by the monster, "GAH!"

Mega Woman dodges and asks, "How did YOU beat CHAOS?!"

"Uh… kinda hard to go 'Super' and get some help from a ghost-girl right this second," Sonic says.

"In other words, we can't defeat it without going Super. And we can't go super because Eggman and Wily have all the Chaos Emeralds with them," Eve says.

Then Mega Man says, "I have an idea! Go for the eye on 'three'!"

"Got it!" Sonic says.

Mega Man charges his blaster. Mega Woman does the same.

Mega Man counts, "One… two… THREE!"

And both of them fire their blaster. Along with Sonic and Eve's Spin Dash cause damages.

But the monster has trapped Sonic and Eve while pinning Mega Man and Mega Woman down.

Suddenly, something flies through the floors and ceiling of the Wily Egg and is able to counter attack as the Chaos Devil with a hard punch, freeing everyone.

"Duo!" Mega Man says relieved, "You made it!"

"Yes. My apologies for the delay," Duo says.

"It's okay, Duo. We know you have your own responsibility. We're glad you made it," Mega Woman says

"So this guy is on our side, right?" Sonic asks, trying to get the water out of his ears.

"Yeah! "Mega Man says, "Sonic, Eve, this is Due. He's a robot from outer space who fights evil energy!"

"... Sure why not?" Sonic replies.

"Hello," Eve says.

"Greetings, You're all tired. Allow me to lend you some of my strength," Duo says.

Soon, Duo uses his powers to give the four some strength.

"Uh…" Sonic replies.

"Oh my," Eve replies.

"Thanks!" Mega Man says.

Then Mega Woman asks, "How's it going outside?"

"Your friends are fighting bravely, but there is a greater concern," Duo says, "This dimension is a parasite. Killing both your worlds. You must find a way to restore them - BALANCE them - or there will be dire consequences. Go!" and turns to the Chaos Devil, "I will handle this… thing… join you soon!"

"Thanks, Duo!" Mega Man says.

Then the four heroes head off.

Duo then punches the Chaos Devil and says, "I sense evil - but also nobility. You are a creature conflicted. I will purge the evil from you."

Duo then continues to fight the Chaos Devil, but it's not giving up without a fight.

Duo then begins to perform his power, "I fear no evil…"

Somewhere in the Wily, Egg, the four heroes are trying to pass the robots. They reach Checkpoint S.

"Your space-buddy is… weird," Sonic says.

"What, you're telling me you've never met anyone from space?" Mega Man asks.

They reach Checkpoint T.

"Oh, sure. I seem to spend a lot of time in space…" Sonic says.

Sometime later, they reach Checkpoint U.

"Actually, I would would LOVE to see what you could do with a wisp," Sonic says.

"Haha - a WHAT?!" Mega Man asks.

They soon reach Checkpoint V.

"They're cute aliens from another planet. Each Wisp has unique powers. We helped save their planet when Eggman tried to turn it into a theme park," Eve says. "We'll tell you about it."

"Sounds cool!" Mega Woman says.

She then asks, "Are they really cute?"

"They sure are. We became close with one Wisp named Yacker, he's sweet," Eve says

Then they reach Checkpoint W.

Mega Man fires, "We've got to finish things here first, though."

"Of course, of course," Sonic says.

Meanwhile, outside, Sonic and Eve's friends are starting to get the upper hand on the Robot Masters. Rush is able to get Tails to Amy, and she instantly starts first aid.

Soon, the group reaches Checkpoint X. They see a large metal door with the symbol of Eggman and Wily in half.

"There it is," Mega Man says.

"You're sure?" Sonic asks.

"Believe me, we've gone through enough of these doors to know," Mega Man says.

Soon, the door opens, allowing the four to walk inside.

"Uh… power's out. Did we win already?" Sonic questions.

"Careful. There's no telling what in-" Mega Man says.

And right on cue the lights turn on to reveal trouble: Bass, Metal Sonic, and Metal Eve.

"The doctors can't see you now. I, on the other hand. Have been REALLY looking forward to this!" Bass says, ready to fight.

And it looks like our heroes have to battle them in order to get to Eggman and Wily.
