Episode 11: The Worst of the Worst

In the Wily Egg…

Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily are at work on their latest machine.

Willy says, "Slow, EVEN strokes! I'm not piloting this thing into victory if it looks sloppy!"

"Listen I WAS going to have a Badnik do it. but NOOO, you INSISTED it NEEDED a 'craftsman's' touch. Hrmf" Eggman says, annoyed.

Suddenly, they hear loud crashing sounds.

"Great Ghost of Ford!" Wily cries out, "Never mind Sonic, Eve, Mega Man and Mega Woman! Duo and The Chaos Devil would tear this place apart! If they just rip the Genesis Wave Generator now, all of this would have been for nothing!"

"It's worse than that," Eggman says, lowering himself down, "At this delicate stage, our worlds might not just revert, but our entire home universes could collapse into chaos! Now focus, Albert, FOCUS! Once the Egg-Wily Machine X is fueled by the Chaos Emeralds NOTHING will stop us, be it. Hedgehog, robot, or whatever."

"I'm still not wild about the name," Wily says.

"Oh don't start this again…" Eggman says, annoyed, "The 'Egg' Prefix is My naming convention. All your battleships are Wily Machines,' and the 'X' means the cross of our designs therefore-"

Wily brushes it off, "Yes, yes, fine, whatever. Let's just FINISH this thing!"

Wily then says in thought, "And by 'finish,' I mean 'finish YOU.' You're too dangerous to let run amok. I've learned that now."

"Oh, I'll finish this - and YOU, you weak willed buffoon. Still, I need to hurry…" Eggman says in thought, "Sonic, Eve, Mega Man and Mega Woman are at our last line of defense."

In the Wily Egg, Antechamber, the four heroes are fighting against Bass and his dog Treble, Metal Sonic and Metal Eve.

Sonic and Eve dodge Metal Sonic and Metal Eve's attacks.

"Give it up, man!" Sonic calls out, "I've beaten you in every race, every fight, and even that time you turn into that stupid dragon thing! You can't-" but Metal Sonic strikes at Sonic, "AUGH!"

"Sonic!" Eve cries out.

Metal Eve brings out a sword and tries to attack Eve, but Eve deflect the attack.

Sonic and Metal Sonic skid on opposite sides and speed towards each other.

"Cheap shot by a cheap knockoff!" Sonic says.

Bass continues blasting and tries to attack Mega Man and Mega Woman.

Bass continues firing as he shouts, "Stop hiding and fight me! COWARD!"

Both Mega Man and Mega woman hide behind a block.

"Who are you calling a 'coward?' YOU won't come down to fight ME!" Mega Man says.

Then Mega Woman says, "Not to mention that you've got Treble doing your dirty work for you!" as she dodges the attack of the robotic dog.

Mega Man then shots at him.

Bass charges in pure rage, "DON'T TOUCH MY DOG!"

Bass fires the attack and it almost hits Sonic, and almost gets burned.

"Sonic! Are you okay?!" Mega Man asks.

"Just a little crispy. I'm good," Sonic says.

"If you say so," Mega Man says.

"This isn't doing us ain't good," Mega Woman, "We're supposed to be hurting to stop the doctors. We can't stuck fighting these guys."

"She's right, we don't have much time," Mega Man says.

"Right so we'll fall back on the old 'mix-and-match' plan," Sonic says.

"Okay…" Mega Woman says, unsure.

Then Mega Man asks, "What plan is that?"

Sonic explains, "Metal Sonic is 'evil robot me' Metal Eve is 'evil robot her' and Bass is 'evil robot you,' they're built to beat us at our own game. But they aren't built to beat anyone else. So we swap dance partners and finish this quickly!"

"I like it!" Mega Man says.

"Yeah. Great idea, bro," Eve says.

"It might work," Mega Woman says.

"Thought you would - it works every time," Sonic says, "LET'S GO!"

Soon, the group switches. Eve and Sonic battle against Bass and Treble. Mega Man and Mega Woman head to fight Metal Sonic and Metal Eve.

Sonic calls out, "Hey there, Fin-head! Get ready to be-!" But Bass strikes at him.

Sonic tries again, "Ready to-" But Bass attacks with the blaster again, "Jeez! Ready to-! For the love of!-!" And again.

Eve dodges Treble's attack, "GAH! Bad dog!"

Then Bass punches Eve in the stomach. And sends Eve crashing into Sonic and they both get slammed into the wall.

Meanwhile, Mega Man and Mega Woman are trying to get a hit on Metal Sonic and Metal Eve with their blasters. The two robots speed around them as the two friends try to get an aim. Then the pair begin to zoom in towards them.

"Finally…" Mega Man says.

"There…" Mega Woman says.

Then the two fire, "GOTCHA!"

But both of them perform a protective shield before they strike at the pair.

Sonic and Eve continue running from Bass' blast when Mega Man and Mega Eve are pushed to the wall by the two Metal Hedgehogs.

"'Works every time,' Huh?" Mega Man sarcastically.

"Oh cute, you were programmed with sarcasm," Sonic says.

"We need a new plan," Mega Woman says.

"I think I have one. We'll have to team up then you blitz one of them and Mega Man and Mega Woman open up with all the weapons they got from rescuing our friends," Eve says.

"Good plan, I say we attack Metal Sonic first, since he's got the speed," Sonic says.

But Mega Man says, "No- no-no-Bass has the range AND support."

"Oh come on…" Sonic says annoyed.

Then the two boys begin to play rock paper scissors to decide which idea to do first. Eve and Mega Woman roll their eyes, annoyed. Finally, Mega Man wins with rock, Sonic loses using scissors.

"Aw, nertz. Fine," Sonic says, annoyed.

Then Sonic says, "Eve, come with me. Mega Man. Mega Woman, cover us."

"Right," Eve says.

Both hedgehogs charge to Bass and Treble. Sonic spin dashes Treble as Eve spin kicks Bass. Then the pair begin bouncing and spin dashing, distracting Bass.

Mega Woman first performed the attack "Chaos Cannon!"

And mananges to strike Bass. Eve then spin dashes him.

Treble tries to attack Mega Man, but he changes form and performs Psycho Burst on the robotic wolf.

Bass tries to attack Sonic, "Why, you-Stupid, Spiny-"

Then Mega Man fires the attack

"Time to drop the Bass!" Sonic says.

Sonic then gives Bass a hard spin dash.

Metal Sonic and Metal Eve try to attack Mega Woman as Treble also comes from another direction. Mega Woman changes form and performs Chroma Camo, causing the three robots to crash into each other.

Mega Man changes and fires the Acoustic Blaster as he calls out, "Sonic!"

And then strikes at Bass. then Sonic gives Bass a hard kick. Eve then gives him a hard punch in the face. Then Mega Woman performs the Piko Hammer.

Mega Man changes forms again, "Bass is down!"

"Keep up the pressure!" Sonic says.

Then Mega Man performs the Tail Wind, and strikes at Metal Sonic and Metal Eve. That gives the two hedgehogs a chance to spin dash them. Knuckles then strikes at both robots with Sharp Knuckles.

"This is your stop!" Sonic says.

But both robots use their defenses. Then Metal Sonic attacks Mega Man. Mega Man changes again and fires a Rapid Stinger as he dodges Metal Sonic. Then Eve tackles Metal Eve and it's pushed to Metal Sonic. Then the pair of hedgehogs land on the ground.

"I think Metal Sonic and Metal Eve are down for the count," Sonic says.

"Bass is still down. I don't think he has enough power to fuse the treble either," Mega Man says.

Bass struggles to get up, "Sh-shut up! I can still I can still… I can still…"

Sonic stretches, "HRGH! I don't suppose you've got some ring stash in your buster!"

"Only if you got an E-Tank hidden in your sneaker," Mega Man says in remark.

"No such luck," Sonic says.

Eve laughs a bit and says, "C'mon, we've still got doctors too beat…"

"And worlds to save," Mega Woman says.

"Let's go," Mega Man says.

But before they head out, something bursts through the wall and attacks them. They try to attack, but the mysterious robot overpowers them, and blasts them into unconsciousness.

A short time later…

The four heroes wake up from their unconsciousness.

"...Ugh…" Sonic groans.

"My… head…" Eve adds, still dizzy

"Where… are…?" Mega Man asks.

Mega Woman also adds, "Wha… happened…?"

The four soon wake up to find themselves in some large chamber and the seven Chaos Emeralds are inside.

Just then, Eggman and Wily appear.

Wily says, "Ahh! Sonic and Eve are awake, and Mega Man and Mega Woman are back online!"

"Now, that's what I call a hard reboot! Eggman says.

"Oh hey! Instead of finishing us off you kept us alive to gloat over!" Sonic says in remark.

"Crushing you is easy! Crushing your SPIRIT is worth the extra effort!" Eggman says.

Eve rolls her eyes, "You're so corny."

Mega Man notices the emeralds, "Are those… the Chaos Emeralds?"

"Of course, you simpleton!" Wily says, "Each one a virtually limitless fount of energy and we have ALL SEVEN!""

"And we're only minutes away from being fully charged-" Eggman says.

"For the FINAL PHASE!" Wily adds.

They try to give each other a hi five, but they sneer and take their hands away.

"So that whole bit about the contest was you blowing smoke," Eve says, annoyed

"You had us hunt down the Roboticized Masters just to buy ourselves time!" Mega Woman says.

But Wily says, "Oh, the contest was quite legitimate. If they HAD succeeded destroying you, we would've stuck to the wager. Since they didn't, we still succeeded in supercharging the Genesis Wave.

"Our backup plans have backup plans!" Eggman says.

"What do you need a supercharged Genesis Wave for?" Mega Man asks.

"Yeah! You've already rewritten our worlds! What more could you want?" Mega Woman questions.

"Within certain limitations. We could only tweak the timelines only bend the rules here and there," Wily says.

"With this wave we can reshape EVERYTHING! Rebuild our universe is to the tiniest details!" Eggman says.

Then Wily says, "We won't simply be correcting our world…"

"We'll be GODS!" Eggman adds.

Then they both say, ""And when we erase YOU FOUR from all reality, THERE WILL BE NO ONE LEFT TO STOP US!"
