A few hours later, while John and Oliver had gone out to find the family of the man. Felicity had done some digging for them and found out his name was Pritchard Llewelyn. He was the man from Laurel's case. What had caused Pritchard's mental state, no one knew, but before he had his psychotic break, he had been a loving father and husband.
After talking with the family, the two men learned that Laurel had been right. None of the family members - like his wife Rolene or his daughters Elira, Sina, Lorena, Thela and Yara - seemed angry at Laurel for the outcome of the case. They all just seemed sorrowful. Yara was the youngest of Pritchard's daughters and despite everything that he had done - keeping his family locked up in the house for seven years while he had been allowed to leave the house - she just missed her dad and wanted him to get better.
"You know, we had a foster brother before dad went crazy." 25 year old Elira said, "He was taken away, but once he turned eighteen, he contacted us again. We stayed in touch even after dad locked us away in the house."
"Dad wasn't all bad." Yara defended, "He just wanted to protect us."
Elira continued, "Our brother was at the trial, and he was not happy about outcome."
"What's his name?" Oliver asked, "And where can we find him?"
Rolene chimed in, "Don't hurt him, he's a sweet boy. He's may have been upset, but he would never hurt anybody."
"We just want to talk to him, ma'am." John told her
"His name is Brecken Montez." Rolene answered, "He lives in one of the mobile homes in the glades."
Meanwhile with Sara, who had stayed in the Arrow bunker with Avalon to watch over Laurel. The older Lance sister was in and out of consciousness since first waking up. She had a long recovery ahead. Sara knew she should call her father, but she wanted to wait until Laurel was a bit stronger. Quentin had been through so much, losing her, his marriage falling apart, and then losing Laurel - the first time. Sara wanted to spare her father a little bit of heartache at seeing his oldest in such a vulnerable state - again.
"Is Auntie Laurel gonna be okay?" Avalon asked
Just as Sara was about to answer, her phone rang. It was Felicity. 'Hopefully with some good news.' She thought, 'Something that will give me some leverage against Rowan and Iridessa.'
"Hey Felicity, what did you find?"
"Nothing. These people are clean. They don't even have so much as a single parking ticket."
Sara hummed, letting out a sigh, "Okay. Thanks for your help."
"I wish I could have been more help." Felicity admitted
Sara thought about her next step. She did have a Plan B, but it was less than desirable. More of a last resort. It was something she had stopped doing a long time ago - before she had joined the Legends - because of the toll it was taking on her soul. However, sometimes doing a necessary evil was better than letting the justice system take its course.
With little to no haste, Sara dialed a number on her phone. Someone who could help with Plan B. Someone who had once been more than just a friend and would always come to her rescue wherever and whenever.
"Who are you calling, Mom?"
"An old friend." Sara replied, holding the phone to her ear, "Hey Nyssa, I need a favor."
"Anything for you, my beloved."
Sara smiled at the sound of Nyssa's voice. She may be with Ava now, but a part of her will always love Nyssa. The raven-haired heir to the demon - daughter of Ra's - had been Sara's first love - the one who had saved her life and gave her a home despite all of her brokenness, and much to the distain of Ra's Al-Ghul.
"I have one last kill to do, and I need your help."
"Where?"
"Solvang California, but you can meet me in Star City. We need to take the waverider and go back a few years."
Hearing this, Avalon stared at Sara intensely, wondering if it were her biological parents that Sara intended to kill with this Nyssa woman. Given how small of a town Solvang is, it wasn't likely that Sara knew anyone else there that she wished to be dead. Although, it was a possibility, but not a likely one.
Before all the drama and the lawyers, Avalon hadn't wished her parents dead. In fact, she still didn't, but at this point, she wasn't even sure that she minded if Sara killed her parents. Avalon didn't want to be afraid anymore of her biological parents being able to take her or her baby away from Sara. And she really, really didn't want to talk with the cops. If murder was the solution to Avalon being able to find some peace and be adopted by Sara, then so be it.
