May 8, 1984.
The morning after murdering Morikawa and vandalizing the school, Tohru was sleeping in his bed when the phone ringing woke him up. Getting up, still tired he answered it and on the other end was Mika.
"What is it? How you get my number?" Tohru asked. "Oh, I looked you up in a phonebookโlisten school's canceled today," Mika told him.
"What? Why?" Tohru asked.
"The school's flooded," Mika replied. Tohru had to take the time to process this, how did the school get flooded?
Meanwhile, Principal Asakura and a plumber look at the wreckage at the school's front entrance as the flood seemingly goes with no end. "Dear god, will this ever stop?" the plumber asked. "Eventually, it's gotta. But, almost all the rooms in the building are full of water. It's all coming from a busted water main." the plumber replied. Asakura was speechless, his eyes were locked on the flooding school. "Oh, and there's something else you need to see." the plumber led Asakura and two police officers to the first floor which was the less flooded out of all the floors. He showed them the corpse of Morikawa.
"Do you know who she is?" the plumber asked Asakura. "Oh god, that's Ms. Morikawa," he said in shock. Morikawa's corpse was a sight to be seen, in addition to the five axe wounds on the back by Tohru, her neck was stabbed, her cheeks were cut off, all her teeth were gone and so were her eyeballs. The axe was lodged into her chest with water still dripping from it. But, the two things that got the police officers' attention: were the note Tohru left behind written in red pen ink stuck on Morikawa's forehead with tape, and what was written on the wall. It read: "SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS!" (Thus always to tyrants in Latin) it was written in Morikawa's blood. One of the policemen took the note off her forehead.
"How the hell did this happen?!" the other officer shouted. The two policemen went outside where several new media were waiting for them. They managed to get away from the media. Both were more curious about the note. "What did it say?" one of the officers asked the other.

The note was written in an exquisite handwritten style and hinted to the police some clues: the writer was responsible for Kouji and Aida, there were two perpetrators and one of them was named "Yukio Kawasaki."
During this, Tohru and Mika were watching this unfold on Tohru's TV upstairs. "How will they even know we did it?" Mika asks Tohru, "No, I forged the handwriting and used a fake name, they won't be able to find our fingerprints on the axe but we'll have to get it back." Tohru replied. They both continue to watch the news broadcast as medics drag Morikawa's dead body to the ambulance, disturbed by the sight before their eyes. Mika looked out the window, she was distressed. "What's wrong? Is a white van parked on the road?" Tohru asked Mika, "No, there is no white van. Because if there was; some guy would come out, he'd tried to molest us-" Tohru interrupted, "There's a lot of fucking assholes in Aoyama, you got rich, middle-class, poor, and scums. I'm just the man in the middle of the war. I'm not some poor Arab abeed, who grew up kicking stones and thinking he'd become a martyr when he grew up and laid 132 virgins while shouting how he'll commit genocide." Mika looked at Tohru, she now perfectly understood what kind of person he was inside. She sighed.

May 10, 1984.
School finally resumed after a few days out, but people were still afraid of something heinous happening in Aoyama, a small, rural, and mostly safe town. Mr. Wakayama arrived at Morikawa's classroom and wrote on the chalkboard "Sic semper tyrannis." determined to find who did it. "Good morning, students. On behalf of the school administrationโand the PTA, I will be taking over for Ms. Morikawa today until we can find another teacher. But, today, all students will write this phrase on the chalkboard to find who vandalized the school." he said. Mika, who was sitting next to Tohru, tapped his shoulder. Tohru took out his headphones that were connected to his Walkman and looked at her. "What does "sic semper tyrannis" even mean?" she whispered, Tohru took out a paper from his notebook and wrote a sketch of John Wilkes Booth shooting Abraham Lincoln in the head. He handed it to Mika. "Oh, that's what it meant," Mika said in her head. After Tohru and Mika's little exchange of conversation, Vice Principal Yamaji and Asakura came into the room. "As you all are aware; Ms. Morikawa was murdered, her body was found in the school the other day and someone wrote those words with her blood, that same person also left this note and flooded the school. The note also hinted there were two people involved. Anybody who wants to confess stand up." Asakura said, just right after he said that no one got up, not even Tohru and Mika the ones responsible. "Hmm. Nobodyโฆ now then every student will write this on the blackboard so we call find who wrote it." Yamaji started to call students' names up to write sic semper tyrannis on the blackboard to find a possible suspect. But their search led to nothing.
Lunchtime came and to Morikawa's instructions, Tohru was to show Mika around the school however both were in the classroom as students were having lunch. "Forgeryโฆ you must be a master at forging to not have them catch you," Mika said to Tohru. He wasn't paying attention, he was just spinning his Walkman around. "Tohru." Mika asserted. "Oh, I was listening. Yeah, I am a skilled forger," he replied. Mika looked at the blackboard and then paid attention to the outside. "Why do we get rid of all the fat, retarded, sadistic, crippled, homophobic, ignorant, spoiled, rich, and worthless pieces of shit that roam this world," Tohru spoke up which caught Mika's attention. He continued, "...No one is worthy of this world; only me and who I choose. Everyone whom I disagree with should be in holocaust-style gas chambers and forced into slavery. The people here are so annoyed they shouldn't even be allowed to breathe the same air as me." Mika chuckled, "What's with you all the sudden? First, you're spinning your Walkman around like a top and now you're going on this manifesto speech." Tohru put his Walkman in the holster on his belt and looked at his watch. "Wanna walk around? We got like 10 minutes left of lunch." Tohru got up and he and Mika walked around the school they both walked into the girls' bathroom which had about five girls in it, but they didn't care that a boy was inside. They went into a stall.
"You ever be in a clique?" Tohru asked Mika. "No," she replied.
"Cliques. Every system has cliques like every adult has a coterie. You got nerds, martial arts junkiesโwho teach they'll be the second coming of Bruce Lee, painters, teacher's pets, banchล and sukeban delinquents and the list goes on. Here's a list of cliques, ones to go with, ones to avoid and ones to not get involved with." Tohru handed Mika the list. The sounds of high heels tapping were heard. "Everyone out!" a voice said, it was Kizuna. "Fuck, not them." Tohru silently said. "Just get under," he said to Mika. She crawled out of the stall, and Kizuna was there with two other girls, Nanami Yukishiro, and Wasabi Kondo. Feeling uneasy, Mika washed her hands avoiding eye contact with the girls. "You must be the new girl," Kizuna said nicely, making Mika flinch. Kizuna looked at Mika, but she didn't speak. "I don't think we've meant due to the complicated politics of this school, my name is Kizuna Ebihara. "Kizuna" as in long-lasting harmony, and "Ebihara" as in prawn field." Mika turned to face Kizuna, "I heard about you. My mother's a fan of your father's political views." she said, "Oh, Good," Kizuna said with a smile. She continued, "I am one of the greatest people you'll ever meet. I mean, look at me, I'm very beautiful for my age." she then put her fingers on Mika's chin. "For a new and socially uneducated girlโฆ you have great bone structure." Nanami chammed in, "You also have adorable hair tied in a French braid, and your glasses are also something." "So if you have a French braid, why are you Asian and not French?" Wasabi asked Mika. Kizuna and Nanami turned their heads at Wasabi. "Jesus, Wasabi. You can't just ask another person about their race." Nanami retorted.
Mika looked down at the stall and Tohru's uwabaki slippers. "What are you looking at?" Kizuna asked Mika. She was got off-guard but she had a lie ready. "I was looking for my makeup." Tohru handed her a fake lipstick, "Here it is," she said. Tohru, who was standing inside the stall took out a cigar cutter, a Zippo lighter with a unique Chinese dragon design, and a cigar. He then lit it and started smoking it. After a few seconds, the smoke from the cigar started to rise and was smellable.
"What's with the smoke? Is there a fire?" Wasabi said, confused. Mika's face became pale, but Kizuna's face twisted a grin. She walked to the stall and banged on the door. Tohru unlocked it and got out.
"Could you three bounce? I'm trying to smoke a cigar!" Tohru roared. He then took a hit of the cigar and blew it in the air.
"No surprise. I'd never expect you to be in the girls' bathroom, useless." Kizuna scolded. "What's a freak like you doing in here anyway," Nanami said to Tohru. "What does it look like I'm doing?" Tohru replied, smoking the cigar and then throwing it in the stall. Tohru turned to Mika and whispered something in her ear, "Go to the hallway, I'll be there in a sec." Mika walked to the hallway and turned his attention to the three. "What do you want anyway?" Tohru asked. "Nothing, I just wanted to find out why a useless piece of shit like you would be in here. I think you flooded the school and killed Ms. Morikawa." Kizuna said. She was right about the latter but didn't think Mika flooded the school. But Tohru had a response ready.
"I didn't do shit," Tohru said, looking at the sink. "Leave me and her alone." he continued. The three girls started to chuckle which turned to laughter. " You want us to leave you alone?" Kizuna commented still laughing. "Are you in love with her or something? God, you are a freak show." Nanami said. "Do you even think any girl in Aoyama would want to date you?! No girl would even want to fuck you!" Kizuna commented. The girls then saw what looked like Tohru crying, which was actually the sink dripping water drops.
"That's right, you pussy. Go ahead and cryโฆ no one loves-" "GO FUCK YOURSELF!" Tohru interrupted Kizuna and walked out of the bathroom. "You wish," Kizuna replied. At that moment Tohru's mask of sanity slipped after he said that. He came to the hallway to breathe, standing next to Mika.
"I hate them." Tohru spitted. "Kizuna seems nice," Mika replied. Tohru rolled his eyes and took Mika to her next class. Mika was starting to become popular with the students and with the aristocrats and didn't know about Tohru and Mika's hatred for each other. Tohru hated Kizuna, and she hated him back and took pleasure in belittling him. But they didn't hate each other off the gecko. They had been friends seen grade school and often drove Tohru to Aoyama during the first and second years. But, it did last. After school, Tohru and Mika just wandered around talking to each other instead of cleaning the classes. However, Kizuna and plotted with Akio and Yu to get revenge on him, and they decide to use bath oil. They both got to the second floor and saw Mika and Tohru talking, he had said something to make her laugh.
"You sound like a goat," Tohru said.
"What," Mika asked, "I said that you sound like a-" Tohru was cut off by Akio and Yu kicking him in the nuts and grabbing his arms and legs. Yu then slapped Mika causing her nose to bleed and her glasses to fall off. Kizuna, Nanami, and Wasabi rubbed the baby oil across the floor.
"Hey everyone! Watch this!" Akio shouted. All the students were looking at what was happening, Akio and Yu began dragging Tohru, he slid on the floor and hit a wall. Mika managed to get her glasses and noticed blood dripping from her nose. Everyone started laughing at the two, Tohru got up enraged, and walked up to Akio. "I'll fucking kill you, Shiraishi," he told him. But they just taunted and mocked him. He helped Mika up and they began walking out of the school.
