After Kayley and the gang met Garrett, a mysterious blind hermit living in the Forbidden Forest, and his companion, Ayden, the silver-winged falcon, they discovered the location of Excalibur and after convincing him to help them, they all set off together, with Garrett specifying that he didn't want to get in trouble.

However, shortly after they began their journey, a sticky substance landed on Garrett.

"Ugh. It's a fine mess you've gotten us into, Ayden." said Garrett.

Turns out they were now passing through an area of the forest with some puffy plants hanging over them and the moment Kayley ran her hand over them, they spilled their gelatinous contents like balloons and they didn't notice.

"Hey, this isn't so bad." said Kayley.

"It looks pretty fun." said Littlefoot.

"We were told there were dangerous things here, but so far, we've only seen strange things and we haven't seen dangerous things." said Ruby.

Unbeknownst to Spike, a small grass monster popped out of the ground to eat him, but Garrett knocked it down by hitting it with his staff.

"And you were worried that we couldn't handle this place?" asked Cera oblivious to some branches coming toward her, but Garret whacked them with his staff.

"This place is like the Mysterious Beyond. Yep, yep, yep." said Ducky as they climbed a huge mossy log, not noticing that a grass monster emerged from the ground to eat them.

Fortunately, Garrett was able to 'see' it and threw a rock at it that sent it back to the ground.

"Trouble, trouble, trouble! With a capital T!" said Garrett.

"Hey, Garrett. Hurry up or we'll leave you behind." said Kayley oblivious to everything that was going on.

That made Garrett slap his face in frustration he was feeling.

Meanwhile, back at that lake where Garrett fought the metal humanoid monsters, the lake spat out that metal humanoid monster it ate, throwing it to the ground.

Then, the rock with a mouth vomited up the metal humanoid monster it ate before spitting him out.

Elsewhere, there were Ruber, the griffin, the metal dino beast and two metal humanoid monsters.

One of them was tall and had a knife in his left hand while the right one had claws that were knives.

The other was short and in his arms he had axe blades.

"You wretched, mythological moron! Where did you drop the sword?!" asked Ruber pulling the griffin's ear to pull it closer to him.

"It all looks so different from down here." said the griffin having put on a monocle to look up.

Ruber grabbed him, pulled the monocle off and tossed it away.

"We'd better find it or we'll find out if that thing eats griffins." said Ruber pointing to the metal dino beast which roared slightly.

Just then, Bladebeak appeared, but fell into a muddy charge in front of everyone.

"You! Report!" said Ruber pointing at the axe chicken.

"I… um… oh… The girl, the blind warrior and the… the bunch of weird creatures are following a sliver winged falcon. Who… Who knows where Excalibur is?" asked Bladebeak nervously hoping that information wouldn't anger him.

"They'll lead us right to it. We're going after them!" said Ruber before setting off.

In the process, he splashed Bladebeak hard, covering him in mud and at that moment, several eyes popped up from the ground and aimed their gazes at the axe chicken.

"You're looking at me? You're… looking at me?" asked Bladebeak angrily before turning to leave, only for him to quickly turn around to point his finger at them like a gun, causing them to quickly duck, which made Bladebeak grin.

Back in Camelot, repairs were being made to the areas that were destroyed by the griffin assault.

"Come on men! We must repair this tower!" said a man as a wooden beam was lifted from inside the tower where the attack occurred.

Arthur was in his chambers, sitting on his bed as Merlin bandaged his right arm that was damaged by the griffin.

"Merlin, is there any news? Has the knights found Excalibur?" asked Arthur.

"I'm afraid not." said Merlin shaking his head.

"Then I'll go after it myself." said Arthur getting up and taking a couple of steps.

"No!" said Merlin just as Arthur fell to the ground as he groaned in pain, but the royal wizard caught him in time. "You'll have to regain your strength." said Merlin helping the king to his feet.

"Is there any of your magic can do?" asked Arthur as the two made their way to the balcony.

"You must rely on the courage of your people. Besides, I sense there is something else." said Merlin.

"What do you mean?" asked Arthur.

"I don't know what it is, but no doubt forces from beyond our realm have come and I am sure their help will save us all." said Merlin as he looked off into the distance.

Back with the group, they found themselves walking through a meadow, but what they didn't know was that, from far behind, there was Ruber and his small squad following them.

They kept walking until the beautiful green meadow turned into a dry, misty area.

It was then that Garrett knelt down on the ground and began to sniff the air.

"Have you got a cold?" asked Kayley.

Chomper also took a sniff of the air.

"He noticed a weird smell in the air." said Chomper.

"A weird smell?" asked Littlefoot.

"Shh! We're in Dragon Country." said Garrett.

"Dragons?" asked Petrie getting on top of Kayley's head as he chattered his teeth.

"What are dragons?" asked Littlefoot.

"Imagine something like you, but bigger, scarier and deadlier." said Garrett.

"I mean, like a Sharptooth?" asked Ducky.

Spike, hearing that, buried his head in the ground.

"You know? I have a feeling we've heard that word before. I even get the feeling we've met a few." said Ruby.

Despite knowing where they were, the group continued on, passing through an area where steam was rising from the cracked ground.

"Hey, are you sure this is Dragon Country?" asked Cera.

"Yeah, shouldn't there be a sign or something? Hey, it could say 'Welcome to Dragon Country'!" said Kayley without her or anyone else noticing that they had just passed over a bridge that was actually the skeleton of a dragon.

"Well if I'm being honest, this reminds me a lot of the Mysterious Beyond." said Chomper.

"Maybe we should be careful." said Littlefoot.

"Yep, yep, yep. There could be dragons around here." said Ducky making Petrie and Spike shiver in fear.

"Take it easy, kids. We might not see any dragons, right?" asked Kayley.

Soon after, they came to a ravine.

"Is there a group of dragons a pack or a flock? Is it a gaggle or a pride?" asked Kayley.

"I think the correct term would be herd." said Littlefoot.

"Quiet!" said Garrett stopping along with the others as he pointed his palm at them.

"Did you hear something?" asked Kayley with concern.

"No. I just wanted you to be quiet." said Garrett before continuing on his way.

Kayley frowned with her fists on her hips at what the boy said before she and the others followed.

As they walked, suddenly, a rock fell right in front of them, causing them to stop in surprise before looking up to the top of the ravine, where they saw some strange silhouettes.

The worrying thing was that they didn't know if they were statues or were they really…

"Hey, kids, do you get the feeling we're being watched too?" asked Kayley.

"Me not knowing. Me not wanting to look at anything until we're far away from here." said Petrie with his eyes covered.

Kayley went backwards slowly, but that caused her to step on something and her foot ended up going through it.

When she pulled it out, it was full of a very sticky substance.

While Kayley was disgusted and trying to get the substance off her foot, the gang was in shock, as they knew what it was.

"Is that… Is that a...?" began Chomper.

"I think so, Chomper. That's an egg." said Littlefoot.

"Oh, I've never seen such a big egg. No, no, no." said Ducky.

"Well, if that's what a dragon egg looks like, I don't want to imagine what it's going to be like coming out of it." said Cera nervously.

"And it doesn't look like it's the only one." said Ruby pointing around, as there were more eggs lying around.

"We must be in some kind of nest." said Kayley.

"In that case, we need to get out of here as soon as possible." said Littlefoot.

"Yes, because the mama of these eggs might not be too…" began Cera before suddenly, everyone heard a beastly roar. "Friendly."

"Ah!" shouted Petrie before ducking inside Kayley's shirt collar to hide better.

"Garrett! Where are you?!" shouted Kayley, as the boy was nowhere to be seen.

Suddenly, the shadow of a winged dragon passed over them, which scared the group quite a bit, so they quickly fled to an area where there were broken eggs.

They looked around before something grabbed them and pulled them into a broken egg.

"Shh." said Garrett keeping them from being able to scream or anything.

They peeked out to check the surroundings and saw nothing until...

"Dragons!" shouted Petrie pointing to a wall, where they could see the shadows of the heads of two dragons, one being long-necked and the other stubby.

" Where? I don't see any dragons!" said the long-necked dragon.

The moment Littlefoot turned around, he saw the long-necked dragon looking him straight in the eyes, and the next instant they both screamed and backed away.

As soon as Littlefoot hit the egg wall, it shattered, causing him to fall to the ground.

Kayley went over to Littlefoot to help him to his feet.

"But… you're dragons." said Kayley.

"Oh, heavens! Someone's found our hiding place." said the long-necked dragon.

"Shut up, cricket ball! Let me handle this. We are dragons! Ferocious, hungry dragons! So go away before we eat you!" said the stubby-headed dragon before placing his hand so that the shadow looked like the mouth of a ferocious animal.

He even made the roars in the process.

"Oh, good show, Corny. That is clever." began the long-necked dragon touching the stubby-headed dragon's hand to stop his performance. "Here, let me have a go." said the long-necked dragon before making his hand get in such a way that it looked like a rabbit and moved it to make it hop around while humming.

Needless to say, the gang burst out laughing at that.

"Oh, great! The bunny's dead." said the stubby-headed dragon before grabbing the long-necked dragon's hand. "They're probably cringing in fear." said the stubby-headed dragon before he picked a fight with the other dragon.

Garret walked over to the egg and tapped it with the staff to get the attention of the two dragons.

"Please don't hurt us!" said the long-necked dragon having poked his and the other dragon's heads out of the egg.

"Hehehe. What fierce dragons you are. Hehehe." said Cera.

"Well, not exactly. The real ferocious ones are those fire breathing bullies out there." said the stubby-headed dragon.

"Yes! They're always picking on us, calling us names, pushing us around! I hate them!" said the long-necked dragon.

Garrett whacked them a couple of times with the staff.

"Hey, hey! Easy with the stick, buddy." said the stubby-headed dragon pushing the staff away.

"Who are you?" asked Garrett.

"Well, frankly, we're the reason cousins shouldn't marry." said the long-necked dragon before the two dragons hatched out of the egg, revealing their full appearance.

It turns out that they weren't two different dragons, but a single dragon with small wings that had two heads while its two arms were also different based on the two heads. The right arm being lanky because of the long-necked head with long horns and the left arm being stubby because of the stubby head with very short horns.

Both Kayley and the gang were amazed at what they were seeing.

"Wow." said Chomper.

"Unbelievable." said Littlefoot.

"Me never seen anything like that in my life." said Petrie.

"We hear that all the time." said the chubby head before the two heads looked at each other as the long-necked head covered the side of his mouth with his hand.

"Hey, didn't dinosaurs go extinct many centuries ago?" asked the long-necked head.

"And what do I know? They probably would have used one of those inter-world travel devices the dragons on that hill made." said the stubby head as he covered one side of his mouth with his hand before the two turned their focus back to the group.

"Oh. Enchantée, mademoiselle. I'm Devon, and this growth on my neck is Cornwall." said the long-necked head introducing them both.

"But you can call me, "Corny" for short." said Cornwall gallantly as he took Kayley's hand who giggled at that.

"Yes, short on wits, manners, and charm. Everything I hold, dear." said Devon before Cornwall grabbed him by the nostrils.

"How 'bout holding ya breath?" asked Cornwall.

"You know? I heard once that two heads think better than one, but yours is something else." said Ruby.

"Ha. Think? This one has rocks for brains." said Cornwall.

"Says he who has air for brains." said Devon.

"Hihi. You are so funny. Yep, yep, yep." said Ducky.

"Come on, guys. Let's go." said Garrett before he and the others went on their way.

"Hey, hey! Where are you going?" asked Cornwall.

"To save Camelot!" said Kayley.

"Camelot? The restaurants, the theatres!" said Devon with fascination toward the place.

"The waitresses, the actresses." said Cornwall.

"The dragons." said Devon.

"Yes, yes. All very nice and…" began Cera before stopping. "Wait, what was the last thing you said?" asked Cera turning her head towards them.

It was then that a roar was heard.

"The dragons?!" asked the two in unison alerting everyone else who saw a huge dragon flying overhead.

"Run!" shouted Littlefoot as they all broke into a run just as the dragon spat a blast of fire from its mouth.

Although the group escaped, the two-headed dragon took a hit from the flames, but managed to get away unscathed before breaking into a run, only for another blast of fire from the dragon to hit them in the butt, making them jump and scream and then again before the dragon soared higher.

The group kept running, with Kayley grabbing Garrett's hand to help him, down the ravine as the two-headed dragon overtook them.

"This way!" said Devon leading the group down the path.

"Wait! What is it?" asked Kayley as ahead of them was a river of steaming greenish water, with a waterfall nearby and had a platform floating as a bridge.

"Don't worry. It's perfectly safe." said Cornwall as he and Devon crossed the river by jumping across the platforms.

The group stopped at the river's edge.

Out of curiosity, Garrett stuck part of his staff into the water, but as soon as he pulled it out, it revealed to have melted.

"Safe?!" asked Cera angry and surprised.

"So long as you don't step in it." said Cornwall as he and Devon tried to balance between two platforms while having one foot on each platform.

"So, is it face the dragon or go through a river of death?" asked Ruby before they all heard the dragon roar.

Spike was so terrified that he ended up jumping onto the platforms.

"Clearly there is no other choice." said Littlefoot before they all jumped down the platforms.

Fortunately, Garrett had the help of Ayden and Petrie who were flying along.

"Keep it up, Garrett. Jump ahead." said Petrie.

Behind him, a pair of dragons could be seen flying in the sky before heading towards them.

Garrett was about to fall if it wasn't for Petrie and Ayden pushing him forward, making him jump to the next platform.

"Garrett, hurry!" said Kayley.

"You think this is easy?" asked Garrett just as a dragon emerged from the waterfall and released a blast of fire behind the boy.

Regardless, Garrett jumped to the next platform, but then, the dragon pounced into the water, causing a wave that pushed the platform he was on to the shore, knocking him to the ground in the process.

"Hurry!" said Ducky as everyone helped Garrett up.

Soon after, the dragon from earlier emerged from the water and flew up along with two other dragons.

Devon and Cornwall shouted before they all took off running with the dragons chasing after them.

As they ran with all their might, the dragons shot bursts of fire at the ground behind them, setting off explosions in the process.

The explosions were about to hit them, but they quickly jumped forward and passed a small wall of earth, managing to escape the blasts.

"Yikes! More dragons!" said Cornwall as they saw, from another path, a pair of creatures approaching, but they weren't just any ones.

"That's not a dragon, it's a griffin!" said Kayley recognizing Ruber's pet.

"And that's the metal sharptooth." said Littlefoot recognizing the metal dino beast that was created in the pit.

Both beasts let out a roar just as, behind them, Ruber and his lackeys arrived.

"And Ruber! They've found us!" said Kayley.

The group was completely cornered as on one side, the three dragons were approaching and, on the other side, Ruber was approaching with his lackeys and beasts.

"Down here!" said Cornwall before jumping into a nearby hole.

The others didn't hesitate to jump into the hole.

Soon after they did, the two sides of baddies found each other and roared at each other.

One of the dragons brought its face close to Ruber, who was stuck to the wall.

It opened its mouth whose teeth were dripping with drool, causing Ruber to shake his head in disgust and frustration before punching it in the face, causing it to spit some fire.

In the tunnel, they all slid down it as if it were a slide as they went screaming.

Devon and Cornwall were the first to reach the end which, because it was heading downwards and was a little high off the ground, they fell hard to the ground, landing a rock on their butts in the process.

Then came the gang who pushed them away and then came Kayley and Garret who landed on top of them, making them groan in the process.

Petrie and Ayden were the only ones who were spared due to the fact that they could fly.

"Are you all okay?" asked Kayley.

"Yes, we are." said Littlefoot as they all got up.

"Phew. Those monsters really scary." said Petrie very wearily and landing on Spike.

"And here I thought sharpteeth were a danger. No offense, Chomper." said Cera.

"None taken. I feel the same way." said Chomper.

"So do I. Facing sharpteeth is easier than facing dragons, because they can fly and throw fire, which sharpteeth can't, so facing them is easier." said Ruby.

"Will we be safe down here?" asked Littlefoot.

"It's a lot safer down here than it is up there." said Cornwall reaching for the chunk of stone on his butt.

"We know all the best escape routes." said Devon as Cornwall reached for the rock and pulled it off.

"We're good at running away too. Yep, yep, yep." said Ducky.

"We've been dodging those bullies since we were 200 years old." said Cornwall throwing the stone away, though it hit Garrett in the head, falling to the ground in the process.

"Were we ever that young?" asked Devon.

"Of course we were, you moron!" said Cornwall.

"I'm not a moron!" said Devon.

"Yes, you are!" said Cornwall.

"No, I'm NOT!" said Devon.

"With all that bickering, I'm surprised you haven't fried each other." said Garrett as he stood up.

"Fried? We can't even simmer." said Devon before releasing a wisp of smoke from his mouth.

"Yeah, you see. Unlike most dragons, he can't breathe fire or fly. Hmm. Sad, really." said Cornwall pointing to his little wings.

"Oh, excusez-moi, Mr. Self-Denial, but WE can't breathe fire or fly." said Devon.

"Only cause you're holding me back! If I didn't have you, I do a lot of things!" said Cornwall.

"Thank you. Thank you, very much." said Cornwall.

"Devon's left the building." said Devon.

"Hey, you've never sung before, have ya?" asked Cornwall before Devon punched him in the face that knocked him down, ending the song.

Kayley couldn't help but applaud at the song of the two dragons sharing a body.

"Well in my opinion, even though you two fight, you seem to get along well." said Littlefoot.

"Yep, yep, yep. I once, I was angry at Spike and when he left, I realized how much I loved him." said Ducky before hugging her little brother's neck who licked her in gratitude.

"Oh, how cute. It makes me want to cry." said Cornwall sarcastically.

"Well, kids, let's not waste any more time. Come on, Garrett." said Kayley before the group set off.

"You don't him, honey. Now you got Cornwall, keeping an eye on ya." said Cornwall gallantly.

"That's why we need him." said Cera as they all walked through the cavern.
