CH 28
When both ships landed, they all got off and were shock to see how much ever one change. Janet and Daniel hug and kiss before Janet pulled him away and into their house.
"How long have we been away for?"
"A month" Sam said
"That long, wow"
"How did it go?"
"Good all the goa'uld are now dead and jaffa are now free"
"That good news dad"
"Yes it is" they turn to see Bra'tac talking to some of the jaffa there. Before they left to talk to the rest of the jaffa.
"So how Jack?"
"Good, we miss the kids"
"I bet," he said smiling. Fifteen minutes later glider showed up and landed. Jack got out and walked over to them
"Dad good to see you, how did it go?"
"All they system lords are now dead"
"Hey that is good news," he said smiling then look up when Promethis arrived.
"Well the jaffa will be leaving soon"
"Ok, I don't know about you but I'm hungry" Jacob laugh,
"Well come on then" they walk over to the picnic table and sat down to eat since there was bread, meats, fruit, vegetables and juices on the table. They sat down to eat, drink and talk. Hour later Bra'tac walk over to join them.
"I'll will be leaving with my brothers today"
"Ok, well thanks for your help Bra'tac"
"You are welcome and thank you for what you have done, they believe that SG1 and tau'ri are more powerful the goa'uld and that you believe in freedom"
"That is true, both you and Teal'c believed in freedom long before we came along"
"Indeed, and because of what Teal'c did and what happen when Apophis try to destroy your world, many jaffa started question about there gods and over time they start to relies how powerful SG1 is. When news spread about other goa'uld that was killed over the years and that attacks that fail to destroy your planet"
"Well that is true, now news will spread about what has happen here and hopefully it would make others jaffa relies and kill the goa'uld"
"That is true, when that day comes, it would be day of celebrations"
"True"
"And would be talk of the tok'ra water cooler" Sam said
"Again" jack said they all laugh.
The entire jaffa's were all rings up on to the two ships then they all saw the ships leaving the planet. When they got word from the one of the ones who was on watch, that all the ships are gone. They were all please and they can relax. The villagers put on a farewell party and celebration party for Jack, Sam and the others for what they have done the night before they left. Later that night after making passionate love, Sam was snuggling in jack arms.
"That was great as always Jack"
"That good to know Sam" he gives her a kiss
"Looking forward to going home tomorrow?"
"Yes, you?"
"Yes, I miss the kids"
"Same here" he gives he a kiss, then he started kissing down to her neck
"Jack"
"Yes"
"I'm pregnant" he moved do he could look at her
"Pregnant?" she smile and nodded
"Are you sure?"
"Thirteen weeks"
"Well we might as well have a hocky team then" Sam laughed.
He gives her a passionate kiss, then they made love again before snuggling down in one another arms and falling asleep with smiles on here faces. The next day they all said their good byes to every one there till the next time they visit them.
Then they were ringed up on Promethis then they headed home. When they reach the planet they were beam down last after fruit and vegetables were beamed down. To be greeted by three SG teams who were carrying containers of fruit and vegetables back through the gate. When they all walk through them selves
"Ah, home sweet home" Jack said smiling
"Welcome back, how was your honey moon?"
"It was great till the system lords decided to attract the planet full force"
"I know how did it go?"
"All system lords are dead and jaffa free, so hopefully the rest will get the message soon"
"I agree, you all know the drill"
"Yes sir" they all left together with the SG teams that Hammond sent to help them.
Hour and half later they all headed home to where there families are and be greeted by their kids. They all talk for hours and they all put money together so they all could have pizza for dinner. Greg, Steve, Daniel and their father in laws went into town to get drinks for every one. Jack and Sam got Jacob alone in the office.
"we got some good news to share"
"what is it?"
"We have found hundreds of underground chambers full of drones"
"Drones?"
"The fire balls dad" Sam said
"Wow"
"And not just that there are hundreds of books they would take for every to translate and ZPM's every where and a hologram"
"ZPM?"
"Zero point molal"
"Ok what is it some sort of power sauce?"
"Yep, one can power up the gate for a long time and there is more but we will have to wait till tomorrow briefing"
"Ok"
"Sam why don't we change to subject to some thing else rather than work"
They look at each other and Sam was smiling before they both looks at Jacob with grins on their faces.
"What is it?"
"I'm pregnant dad" Jacob smile hen gave her a hug
"Sam the I wonderful news" they both hug then they head the door bell ring
"Ah pizza here shell we" Jack said rubbing his hands together with grin on his face
They all left together and went to get the pizza with some help, by that time the others arrived back with drinks. When every one got together, there was Kate, Greg, their parents and kids, Claire, Steve, their parents and kids. Daniel, Janet and her parents and kids, Jack, Sam and their family and kids, and Teal'c all sitting out side eating, drinking and talking. Their families left that night since they all had late night flights back to their homes.
The next day they all went back to the SGC for a long briefing on what happen on the planet while the kids were being look after by the other SGC personal. The briefing lasted all day and they all took brakes in having lunch, checking on their kids and other brakes like when a team arrived from off would things like that.
They all stayed on the base for the night since there was more briefings the next day. They had briefings in the mornings and they all started on their report in the afternoon. The briefing on what happen lasts for another day. When it was over Hammond were please with what has happen and now the threat is gone. Jacob left the next day back to the tok'ra to tell them that Sam is pregant again.
Sam did have the pregnancy test done and she is pregnant which both her and Jack were happy about. They also found out that Claire, Kate and Janet were also pregnant. Sam works on the ZPM and was able to connect it to the generators and turn it on. Every one was please and Hammond was relieved that Sam was able to save billions of dollars in power bills. She even did one up for the alpha and beta site, which took a week to do, since she wasn't a loud to go off world, she sent Dr Lee to do it for her.
Week later Bra'tac arrived to give them good news that all goa'uld have been killed after the other jaffa have found out what had happen to the system lords and that they are now free. He even told them that they have found a queen in stases jar so they were able to use her off spring to replace the adult symboite.
"Woo a queen, what is her name?" jack asked
"Ma'at"
"Did you say Ma'at" Daniel asked
"Yes Daniel why do you know her?"
"Jack you killed her father"
"Who is her father?"
"Ra" every one went quiet"You're joking"
"Nope from what I remember about her the Pharaohs are frequently shown in wall reliefs making an offering of Ma'at to the gods-showing that they are preserving harmony and justice on earth and was the goddess of truth, justice and harmony"
"Oh, that good I think"
"At lest the jaffa have now been given a choice" sam said
"Yes they have, but we got a new problem"
"What is it?"
"The metal creatures, you call them repercaters, they have started taking over ships, the jaffa had no choice but to leave or be killed"
"Jack" he turned and looked at Sam
"Sam"
"The ancient hologram, perhaps you and Daniel can return back to the planet and ask if there is a weapon where they can be destroyed them and if so the address"
"Sam are you sure?"
"Yes Jack, If I'm right you and Daniel can meet the Odessy in an hour to take you there, so you can find out and then return"
"Sir" Jack looks at Hammond
"You have a go"
"I'll go with you"
"Thanks Bra'tac"
"You will leave when the others leave with in the hour, for the time being, you all dismiss" they all stood up and walk out of the briefing room.
Teal'c and Bra'tac went to the mess hall for some thing to eat, while Daniel went to do some more translating for the time being. Jack and Sam went to her lab for a while before they went to the mess hall for some thing to eat and drink, on the way they drag Daniel out of his office, so he could join them before going off world.
When the time came, Jack, Daniel, Teal'c and Bra'tac was all waiting down at the bottom of the ramp, when the gate started spinning. Sam and Janet walk into the gate room to see their friends and husbands off.
They hug and kiss just as the wormhole was form. They said 'I love you' to each other before they walk up the ramp and through the gate to the other side, then it shut down. Janet return back to her office while Sam went back to her lab. When they step to the other side, they walk down the steps and waited. While hey were there talking, Jack heard a noise so he went and check it out
"Shit" when he saw what it was and ran back to the group
"We got company"
"Jack"
"It the repercaters and not just that, that must of land about half an hour a go on a mother ship" Then they all heard them and Jack went to dial the gate when they were beam up on the ship.
"Colonel O'Neill"
"Don't send any thing down, the place is crawling with bugs, we better get to the planet and beam us down to the island"
"Bugs?"
"Repercaters, that started taking over mother ships, we haven't got much time" then the ship jump into hypo space
"I just hope they haven't arrived on the planet, other wise we will have big problems" he ran his hand through his hair
"Why are you going to the planet for?"
"To ask the ancient hologram for some information"
Few minutes later they arrived at the planet and headed to the island, when they arrived there, they were all beam down to where the double doors were. Once they were open they walk down the step and Jack put his hand in the palm print and the lights went on, then they walk down till the reach the room. Jack step in the circle and the women appeared
"Hello, you may ask a question to help with your search"
"Yes we would like to know if there is a weapon we can use to destroy metal bugs" then a light appeared from the ceiling and it went around Jack
"What do these bugs look like"
"It hard to describe, they just bugs"
"Open your mind and show me with your mind"
Jack look at her and showed her pictures of the bugs and who created them and what happen to thor ship and to other planets. Minute later, the light disappeared
"There is a weapon that can destroy them"
"Cool, is there a gate address" Then gate address appeared
"I know this planet" Bra'tac said
"How can we work the weapon"
"See where the light is coming from" she pointed to the wall where the saw a light appeared
"Yes"
"Go and look into it, it will give you the answer you looking for and only an ancient can work the controls"
"Thank you" then he steps out of the circle and the women disappeared. He walked over to the light
"Jack what if it like one of those depositories?"
"Well then after the bugs have been taken care of, we get Thor to remove it"
"But it took three days last time"
"I know, but we got no choice" he walk over to the light and look into it. They all watch as the blue light turn white as jack froze on the spot. Few seconds late the lights turned green and Jack blink and turn and look at them
"We better go"
They walk out and turn the lights off before heading back to the surface. When they got there, they close the doors before Teal'c push a button and they were back on the Odessy. Jack went to one of the computers and started typing, and then the ship went in to space.
